friendships:

Alejandro + Geoff: Same relationship as Cody and Trent, with the difference that at first Geoff was suspicious and jealous of Alejandro but realized that he was not the person he thought he was and they became friends.

Noah + Harold: Polar opposites that complement each other in some way, they would begin to interact during TDWT (not in the same context as Gwen and Courtney) and develop a lasting friendship. I don't have much to explain this friendship because it would be similar to the one Courtney and Gwen have in the series.

Sadie + Katie: I like to think that the two started talking and interacting when they were on the Playa Des Losers.

Eva + Justin + Heather: Team Escope 2.0, not much explanation for this.

Lindsay + Ezekiel: Ezekiel would be interested in Lindsay (not romantically, he would just find Lindsay's sports skills cool) and Lindsay would find Ezekiel funny, they would probably have sleepovers with each other while Ezekiel does Lindsay's make-up and Lindsay plays with Ezekiel's hair.

Duncan + Ezekiel: two silly and stupid guys doing stupid but fun things, I can see them being those friends who constantly go on outings and always end up making a mess or end up accidentally getting into trouble Duncan probably likes to tell Ezekiel about his "intellectual interests" and Ezekiel just listens to him while asking him a question every 8 seconds

Bridgette 💔 Geoff: Theyre exes, they already knew each other outside of the program and had had a quick romance that ended on "good terms" (according to Bridgette). Although I can see Bridgette trying to flirt with Geoff again and Geoff would just avoid her or make it clear to her that he doesn't want to have something with her again.

Duncan ❤️ Harold + Duncan 💔 Trent (I love both ships ngl):

With DunHar, Harold initially had no interest in interacting with Duncan, he didn't hate him but at the time he didn't care for him. On Duncan's side, Harold automatically attracted his attention and consequently began to develop feelings for him as the challenges progressed, Duncan tried to interact with Harold more often and draw his attention with compliments and positive comments or interest. Harold is no fool and noticed that attention he was getting from Duncan so he started to play along in a joking mode but he wasn't being so joking after all, which made Harold realize that he had feelings for Duncan (and surely his mind was like "why did I have to end up finding a guy like him attractive?" But in a good way). The rest I think is obvious and they both ended up in a relationship, then the vote-swapping thing would happen causing Harold to be voted off but they would both continue their relationship even outside of the show.

With DunTrent, in the au they are childhood friends, they already knew each other outside of the show and upon learning that they would both participate in the same season they were happy. Trent despite spending a lot of time being friends with Duncan, as he grew older he began to develop a thing for him, this was interrupted when Trent began to notice that Duncan had an interest in Harold and his feelings were becoming more noticeable. Trent had trouble accepting that and felt some jealousy internally but pretended not to care about the details, not that it made him sad but disappointed that his crush with his childhood friend didn't have a chance of happening. Trent decided as an act of desperation to change the votes and kick Harold out of the competition, something that made Duncan not feel good and Trent felt some regret and action for this action. The good thing is that Trent decided to talk about it all with Duncan before being eliminated and Duncan accepted his apology and they both returned to their usual friendship (of course Trent had to suffer Harold's fury when they arrived at the Playa Des Losers but later they managed to make peace and pretend that nothing of the above had happened although Harold would still feel a little bit of resentment for the situation)

Gwen ❤️ Courtney: I feel that at the end of the show it would be revealed that all this time they were a couple and everyone would not be surprised knowing how close they were during the competition.

Geoff ❤️ Noah: Gwen x Trent but this time it ended well and nothing strange happened to ruin their relationship- 😭

And so far those would be all the couples and friendships, as I said before, the AU is in process so some things may have changes and different ideas.

i think that no one truly UNDERSTOOD james like sirius. i think one of the most compelling things about prongsfoot is that james is obviously a performer. he enjoys attention and he likes being the centre of attention. however, i think at the end of the day that really is just an Image if you get what i mean? like everyone wants a part of james hes the most popular boy in school hes practically a legend like i really really feel like people underestimate the fucking FORCE OF NATURE that was james potter like he was the gryffindor chaser IN SECOND YEAR!!!!! but i feel like ... hmm this is hard to articulate but i think what i mean is sirius sees Through the facade and loves james for who he is not in spite of who he is. like in SWM when theres people in the crowd who are laughing at james' antics (along the vein of 'oh that james! what a card!') and lily telling james to stop it but i think sirius just sees the worst parts of james and loves them just as much as the good parts. i think he sees through the spoilt naivety, the arrogance, the everything to who james is as a person. and heres the really crazy thing: i really dont even think ... james KNOWS he putting on this performance for the benefit of everyone else because i think he absolutely is the most oblivious person when it comes to his feelings but sirius knows.

this links into my next big hc which is that i think BOTH sirius AND james love each other for who they are in their entirety like i think james saw sirius and adored him for everything he was.

hello internet welcome to a super duper duper long rambling explaining the intricate details of why i personally believe jimmy t and orbulon are best friends in my strange weird brain mind

i mean just look at them (warning this will be super ramble-y and very long lmao)

i am an absolute sucker for the idea of polar opposite friendships and these two are no exception. we got jimmy, the super fit and overly friendly celebrity heartthrob. and then orbulon....who is orbulon. a dickish incompetent lazy little ego freak of a alien dude who nobody knows all that much about. literally its the perfect scenario for funny hijinks to ensue. perhaps jimmy helps orbulon get out there and stop being a douche???....perhaps. i love to imagine that orbulon was eve douchier when he first got to earth and jimmy pulled an "i can change him" WHICH SOMEHOW WORKED probably because he is jimmy t and he is awesome

Nao/Vyce is a ship i thought up around Nao release bc i really loved her and after thinking a lot about the dynamic of these two i rly rly fell in love with it!! ( It's v much an opposites attract sorta thing; Vyce is a loud punk rock gal and Nao is reserved and responsible. Which I love already as a trope, but I think it goes past that even when you think more about it. Vyce is punk, she's knee-deep in the underground punk scene and with that, obviously, comes the politics of being punk and it raises a rly rly interesting question to me of what it means to fall in love with someone who not only works at a company like Clarion Corp, but is complicit in a lot of the bad shit going on, even if she is trying to fix things from the inside. It's really fascinating to think abt for me, especially as someone who is very deep in the punk scene myself!! A lot of angst potential and questions about punk ideology. Outside of that, they're just really fun to write together for me. Vyce and Nao are both just kinda messes, Vyce is a famous musician with enough anger and resentment that just seeing her sister is enough to set her off - like you can't convince me she doesn't have some sort of issues. While Nao is (in my interpretation at least) at the root of her character kind of naive? She's so attached to this idea that she can fix Clarion Corp if she just exposes Rasmus, despite being smart enough to know that probably isn't the case with a company like this. Along with that, she's pretty clearly meant to be depicted as a bit of a child prodigy, and there's just a whole lot of fun issues that come along with that. Vyce finds Nao and after all her dealings with awful music execs and people like her, she discovers someone who doesn't feel like a shark in the water just waiting for the opportunity to strike and bleed her dry for all her money. While Nao just finds someone so polar opposite to everyone she's met her entire life, so enthralled by business, her career, and goals with Clarion Corp that she's never really met someone like Vyce. Just kind of a loud dumbass whose goal isn't to climb some corporate ladder, but just to be able to play her music, skate, and be happy. It's jarring to both of them, I think, and what feels like the catalyst to them ever getting together in the first place.

But yeah! I just really really love this ship, and I could go on for way longer about it (probably will at some point but idk if ppl are interested in me yapping about ships). Maybe this made sense? Maybe it didn't? but hopefully, I'll get a fic for them out one day so I can at least show off a little of what I love about them. The things I have cooking for them rn are; -Messy Exes-to-Lovers thing -Silly fic of them being T4T and getting high (because god theyre also Both so trans to me. Vyce especially, but Nao is so fun to hc as either transfem or NB) -And a silly little enemies-to-lovers high school AU of delinquent Vyce getting tutored by Nao.

Remember when I said I love Rise Donnie's vibe? Man I think I love '03 Donnie's vibe even more. They're LITERALLY polar opposites and here I am fawning over both.

I can't separate Mikey and Donnie even if I tried. Love them both very much, its not a competition. Leo's character is just great, especially during S4. I just wish Raph had more solo episodes but he's still a great character nonetheless.

I LOVE THIS TOO keito eventually warming up to madara is really cute , but im so enamored by the hyper aggressive version that comes with keitos feelings for madara going in the polar opposite direction. madara doesnt really like keito either but not even close to as much as keito hates him . they try to avoid each other but their social circles overlap too much (and theyre in the same class) so they dont intentionally hang out but their paths cross constantly. sometimes theyll be with mutual friends and then their friends have to leave and theyre left alone together so madara is like "im hungry im going to the cafe you can come if you want i guess" and for some reason keito does come along but doesnt really know why (maybe he subconsciously just wants to look at him some more) so theyre both sitting there like "how the hell did i get here what did i do to deserve this" . maybe some bystanders even think theyre on a date. like the universe keeps putting them in succession match type situations and theyre NOT happy about it . the irony and coincidence of it all is pure comedy to me. its like the red string of fate but turned upside down. the worlds horniest romantic comedy. its just, we all know keito has a type. he has a thing for delinquents with muscles that are a little bit scary . madara fits into that type perfectly, but hes also incredibly similar to rei personality wise. hes like if you combined kuro and rei and cranked everything up to 11. and then taking into account keitos relationships with kuro and rei.... suddenly everything he has going on with madara makes perfect sense.

How would your beyblade OCs interact with the others in beyblade??? Is there anyone they would hate or hang with a lot??

oo I’ve got a couple ideas here and there. There’s a couple basic ones, like all the oc x canon ships I have, but also some dynamics branching out from them and some tying to their backstories. Axyl and Essi are from koma and grew up with Gingka and Hyoma, so they’re both childhood friends with those two, though I think Axyl’s closer with Hyoma and feels more comfortable around him while Essi’s closer with Gingka.

Besides Selen, Essi also has a really silly dynamic with the rest of the Garcias. I imagine they’d be kind of protective over Selen and are very intense to Essi because she’s dating her. Essi is super intimidated by them and can constantly feel them judging her.

On the opposite side, Essi has that same kind of dynamic with Chao Xin. Chao Xin for the life of him cannot figure out why this girl is constantly glaring at him, meanwhile she’s trying to judge if he’s good enough for her little sibling. She eventually decides he’s good but she is ready to kill if he ever hurts Axyl.

Axyl I like to think is kind of picked up by the rest of whz and ends up tagging along with them a lot. They’re very glad to be there and like being around them a lot, but theyre all a whole lot more energetic than he is and he gets a bit flustered from time to time.

I also really like the idea of aer being friends with Dan and Reiki. I touched on this before on my post from a bit ago about the twins but after they start working on themselves a bit more, they end up bonding with Axyl a lot. The twins end up doing most of the talking but Axyl appreciates it and they’re both very attached to him.

Some other small dynamics with these two that’ve crossed my mind before:

- Axyl does not get along with Kyoya. They find him very intimidating and Kyoya resents them a bit for being weak and cowardly

- I think they’d be good friends with Zeo if they met him. this is not just projection because Zeo’s my favorite no shut up-

- Essi’s also good friends with Hikaru and Benkei. She respects them a lot and their energies bounce off of each other really well

Kosuke tends to be very aloof and mysterious around everyone so not many people really have the chance to get very close to him. He’s kind of an enigma to most

Juno meanwhile tends to try to get along really well with everyone, and generally does. I think besides Kite, they’re also really close with Zyro, Ren, and Takanosuke. His relationships with Shinobu, Sakyo, and Eight meanwhile are a bit more polarizing.

With Shinobu, it’s nothing personal really, they just don’t really seem to mesh. They both respect each other and don’t mind the other’s presence, but generally just aren’t really that close.

With Sakyo, it’s mostly just him being himself. He doesn’t really open himself up much to anyone besides takanosuke so try as juno might, his walls are hard to break down. She’s very determined to get to know him more though.

And then when it comes to Eight, their relationship is one with a lotta duality. Juno tries really hard to make a good impression and connect with him since he’s Kite’s little brother, and Eight wants to dislike them, but he tolerates her more than he’d like to admit. They end up bonding more, but he still has to be a little shit about it whenever her and kite are affectionate to each other.

7- What do you like most about this character?

giovanni- how grounded (heh) he is at least compared to the others. his appeal is how straightforward and non complex his scheme and motivations and attitude are its simpler than the others but works so nicely its refreshing to me. i didnt pay much attention to him until i downloaded pokemas i love his lobby dialogue, hes so charming to me. that whole heh... we'll never see the same way but thats how it is theres good guys and bad guys. youll get it when youre older kid :smirk: i like that a lot. love you gio

maxie and archie- theyre together here bc they have such a good dynamic to me ofc but on their own theyre so fascinating and charming to me regardless of the version (in my mind i see their rse and oras selves as different characters but i like fusing both of those traits into one version of each of them) maxies more uptight on the exterior and keeps up that professional coldness and sternness, in comparison to archies more casual and outgoing demeanor- but they share that same passion and drive that further polarizes them into that rivalry and bitterness. theyre so similar yet different and work really well off of each other, i like maxies temper and archies more mellow and calm side that comes out sometimes, as well as his overall bleak outlook and disdain for humans in comparison to pokemon. i like them a lot

ghetsis- i love his eye motif i love a good eye motif. hes inchresting to me in how with most of the villains they show some kind of remorse or hint at redemption but ghetsis caused so much harm in some of the darker stuff pokemon has done but doesnt seem to show any regret for it at all he hasnt seemed to have learned anything! grampas spiraling hes too strong we need to stop him </3 hes kind of more comically pure evil in comparison to the other bosses at times but i appreciate him. silly wizard

lysandre- out of the bunch he might be my least favorite? in that i prefer the au version of him i made up over the regular one TBH but i still enjoy him. his aesthetic is good i like how outwardly passionate and driven he is and how emotional he gets (stop crying LOSER) and his relationship with sycamore is so good. i really wish they made sycamore part of flare all along it would have been so COOL but i digress. hes fun

Prompto was bored, not just bored but sexually frustrated. The Raven haired boy had taken an hiatus in streams to take time to properly move into a new apartment. Looking at the both of them together you could see the automatic contrast. Noctis had milky pale skin and dark hair with beautiful blues, while the other boy had nicely tanned dark skin white hair and red eyes, but looking at them both they gelled so well together. That wasnt the last time he saw the mysterious boy on Noctis snap chat.

Another time he finally introduced himself in a series of snaps and he found out the boy was a very interesting character. His name was Pryce and he was the same age as Noctis, theyre birthdays being relatively close, he also was into archery and had small modeling jobs due to him havin rare traits, ontop of that he was told of a new secret goal to get him to participate in Noctis streams. This information went straight to promptos head and then down to his crotch. Pryce and Noctis spread out across a bed playing with dildos to their hearts content, that was one hell of a picture and couldnt help but get aroused at the thought.

After that instance the boy appeared more and more on his snap chat, sometimes kissing the other cheek, sometimes getting surprised by Noctis but one time is what encouraged everyone who had Noctis snap chat (little over half) to practically empty out their wallets to have Pryce on stream.

It started out innocent enough, Noctis talking to the camera about how he will resume his schedule the next day while entering his house and he cut off mid sentence taking on a more curious devious look. The snap switched to the other camera and it was pointed and Pryces door (it had his name on it) and it was cracked open slightly. The last one shocked Prompto the most, though Pryce came off as pretty he seemed the dominate type but the spectical he saw was nothing near. Pryce was in what appeared to be a polar opposite of Noctis lewd underwear pure white with kitty stockings to match, 2 cutesy nipple clamps on his hardened nubs and resting on his dick was a ring keeping him on edge as he rode a sizeable dildo that stretched him out beautifully. It was only a 10 second video but you could tell he was blissing out and didnt pay much mind the fact Noctis had walked in and started recording him granted only 10 seconds long. I mean, to start with its just really great and cool how they subverted expectations with how its a scary angry badass instead of the adorable shyness Yet they both have the same motivations, yknow?? Its like two perspectives on the same thing, i love that theyre showing how pokemon can have so many different personalities and even when the pokedex describes a sort of ‘species personality’ they can still have a lot of different spins on that. Sad lonely or revenge lonely! And i feel like this mimikyu is maybe like an old and bitter conclusion to the sad hero-worshipping of pikachu. Started out envious of it and just began to become hateful after its attempt as a disguise still didnt work, and it had to spend so many years alone seeing so many pikachus getting trainers when it never could. And just... AAAAA I have so many feelings about it even if its more angry and scary than we all expected! if anything I feel more for it, it reminds me of molly from The Last Unicorn. And just imagine how much this grumpy lil mimikyu must feel about being part of team rocket now! I totally have to headcanon that it loves its new pals and is just super tsundere and stoic about it. Everything it does ends up looking scary, but deep down its real feelings are like ‘shit. i joined these guys to use them to get revenge on pikachu but then they started being my best friends. shit.’ So now its still this super badass eldritch abomination of cold fury but its a super badass eldritch abomination of cold fury that appreciates every day with its new friends and just sucks at expressing it. I imagine if it was gijinkafied it’d be like this eighty foot tall slenderman thingie looming over the trio like ‘anyone touches my smol frends i will rip off your head’. Also i think it and the other two mons would have a cute dynamic together if we ever got to see them all alone in a filler episode or something. Mareanie is this super cutie optimism romance novel enthusiast thats like the polar opposite to mimikyu, but also i could imagine maybe its SO sweethearted that its the only one who isnt scared of mimikyu. So they have kind of a spongebob and squidward duo going on! And then bewear is super softie team mum who mimikyu would probably see as a wimp, but on the other hand bewear is also a giant powerful badass who is the only one who can overpower mimikyu despite having a type disadvantage. So there’s a grudging respect there, and I can imagine it like mimikyu is all ‘master bewear please teach me your ways’ and bewear is like ‘??? i am but a simple mum’. And then meowth is like the only sane man who reacts rationally to mimikyu’s scaryness but also he can relate to the sad backstory and mimikyu sees him as a wimpy lil brother and is kinda like ‘goddammit let me protect you and TELL NOBODY THAT I PROTECTED YOU’ *gremp grump friendship* And then just being surrounded by POSITIVE SILLY FRIENDPEOPLE starts rubbing off on mimikyu and it goes from being this silent samurai protector type to opening up to them and someday telling them the reason it hates pikachu and it would be THE SADDEST EPISODE EVER and look i just really am looking forward to whereever the show goes with this character!! and i really like how the rocket pokemon have so much character this time!! yes yes more focus on them plz foreverrrrrr rocket family is even bigger than before~

Mannnnn I just cannot get over how many great well-developed relationships there are within the Rune Factory 4 cast! Its just great how much all the different love interests interact with each other outside of their romance route, and how all the non-romanceable characters are still an equally big presence by being family/mentors/employers/best friends/etc to the love interests and to each other and everyone has a job role in the town and they have so many great interactions and just GAHHHH its so great!! Its like one big family made of families made of families then you marry into the family and the family and also the family perhaps. THEN YOU HAVE A CUTE CHILD. aaaaaa

Ventuswill the mentor lady best friend/team mum/LITERALLY THE GOD OF THIS COUNTRY AND A GIANT DRAGON man i just cry forever for her aaaa Everybody’s own unique love for her, and how she kinda unites us all as a family aaaa The butler family coworker trio who met each other because of her! I really like to see it as clorica and vishnal having a brother sister relationship, they dont get any particular big scenes together but they just seem to be such cute friends who never have any of the rivalry you’d expect when theyre both competing as volkanon’s students. VOLKANON IS LIKE YOUR GRANDPA AND HE IS THE BEST CHARACTER The whole restaurant fam! You get to see it expand as the story goes on! And aaaa its just so heartwarming that porcoline adopts all these random homeless people and aaaa!!! DYLAS LEARNED TO COOK. THEY ALL LOVE THEIR STUPID TWIRLY GOOFBALL DAD. And its so nice that these very different personalities end up coming together and being like siblings when they probably wouldnt have befriended each other if not for this random stroke of chance. Its just so cute seeing margaret looking out for her new brothers, and dylas being so polite and formal to arthur, and arthur just being all ‘haha i dont know anything about having a loving family what a rare novelty’ *constantly crying inside* And they bicker sometimes and when they team up theyre a super powerful force, and theyre all like the parents to porcoline’s childishness and aaaaa super talented restaurant fam, super colourful quartet of hugs aaaa THEY ARE MY FAVOURITE OKAY And Forte + Kiel adorable siblings with the unique plot and semi tragic aspect of living alone together at a young age and each trying to take the place of their deceased parents and protect each other And then Bado is like their weird adoptive uncle who’s lived next door since back when their parents were alive, and promised to keep them safe. but he’s kind of a wreck of a man who’s perpetually messing up his silly get rich quick schemes but DEEP AT HEART HE CAAAAARES! but still he is kind of a mess and would probably turn up drunk on their couch half the time. i love him he reminds me of sirius black if he ate del boy from Only Fools And Horses to absorb his strength And then there’s Illuminata who’s like Bado’s evil twin kinda?? They should have more interactions, theyre the bad influence grownups duo XD And I just love the underrated relationship between her and her ‘sidekick’ amber, and how she’s kinda like a big sister who doesnt wanna be called one. I totally only have you here to serve my nefarious purposes! Umm, I mean, my purposes of justice!! And then she’s often playing the cool big sis to all the various female characters in the town, even though at the same time she’s also part of the ‘adults who need a mom friend’ group XD I think margaret and forte actually win the crowd of the true mom friends even though theyre not the oldest (I also like that they have an unlikelu friendship together, though i wish if margaret is allowed to have a canonical gay crush then why isnt she allowed to be a gay marriage option...) And then Lin Fa and Xiao Mei kinda dont stand out as much cos theyre more of a very normal mother and daughter, beyond Lin Fa just being this spacey super nice but super clumsy person. She’s not quite the funny parent-child like porco and co, but she’s funny in her own way cos of how cheerful and positive she is about all her failures. Xiao Mei got all the common sense! Its also nice and cute how Xiao Mei is physically clumsy but super competant and mature, while her mum is perfectly elegant yet completely scatterbrained. And they’re both totally huggable, Xiao Mei dont be jealous that everyone has crushes on your mum! I feel so bad when she’s all ‘i’ll never succeed cos i cant be cute in the same way as her’, as if there’s only one definition of feminine beauty or whatever. CAN YOU NOT SEE YOUR MUM HAS FLAWS TOO. you are powerful togetherrrrrr! i am just so envious seeing these characters with supportive mums that’re like their best friend and they can talk about everything together ^_^ And then there’s the doctor family with the super lovey dovey married couple of funnyness and mushy mush, and they adopt some orphans too~! EVERYONE ADOPTS EVERYBODY: THE GAME. I love seeing the cold and distant Dolce warm up to them and regain her faith that she wont be hurt if she loves someone again. Also Pico is very cute and hilarious! Even if again I get very annoyed at this game having so much queerbaiting, lol. I kinda laughed at the wiki saying dolce and pico were ‘like sister’, i mean seriously?? Pico is like your typical ‘looks like a child but is really 100′ love interest and dolce is the poor harem show protagonist who never asked for this XD I do like though that even if it seems dolce very much doesnt requite pico’s feelings, theyre still best friends either way. Pico’s super comedic flirting attempts seem to come off like she’s completely aware that dolce doesnt love her back, and she just wants to make some humour out of the situation to let dolce know she still cares about her even if they’re never gonna date. Its nice, we dont often see relationships like that in fiction, a childhood friend who confess a crush, gets turned down, and it actually ends positively and they remain friends. Its just a shame it had to be like... one of the few openly LGBTQ characters in the game, and nobody is ever allowed to date anybody or have a happy ending or be a romance route or even mention the word gay, even as theyre constantly being incredibly vocal about how its canon these characters have crushes on each other. gahhhhh. I mean we literally have doug and dylas proposing to each other and confessing their love but LOL HA its just a ~wacky misunderstanding~ but btw lets just rub it in that they are VERY MUCH intended to be seen as gay by the audience but theyre not ~really~ gay even when we say they are and GAHHH okay sorry im getting offtopic now :P Anyway its really sad that Pico is stuck as the same unchanging ghost child while her best friend grows up and marries someone else. And man, she had to spend all those years guarding monster form dolce until someone was able to free her, and we dont even know how pico died so her life could have even more tragedy in it. After all that I guess its a relief that she can be this comic relief jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold manzai duo partner to dolce and also like the freeloading friend on her metahphorical ghost couch. And its nice how much the doctor couple completely accept ‘dolce’s friend’ and are some of the few people who never remotely worry about her haunting the town. And then AAAAA there’s the four guardians themselves who’re like a family cos they were all people who were like family to ventuswill in different time periods, and then met each other for the first time when they were purified from their monster forms and bonded over how much they all love the same friend. And theyre such a badass quartet of cool monsterfolks!! And I like that they have lil relationships inside the quartet, like how dolce and amber are polar opposite sunshine and grumpiness but dolce secretly likes her a lot more than she lets on, and how leon likes to tease dylas but also kinda be his wingman. And I like how leon takes this role to a lot of the other batchelors too, he’s this totally shameless frat boy big brother figure XD “HEY PROTAGONIST DO YOU WANNA HEAR ABOUT DOUG’S SEX LIFE” And then aaaa doug and granny blossom AAAAAA granny blossom is probably the character who gets the least scenes, backstory, and general focus, but I still love her a lot. And they have a good dynamic together! I like that it starts off seeming like just a completely normal grandma granson relationship, but then you learn later that he’s adopted, and that he actually began as a spy for the evil empire who realized the error of his ways after infiltrating the town and finding so much love inside it. And then he’s just so scared cos blossom’s illness might bring her to an early grave, and he’s always being disobedient and rebellious because he wants to do anything to protect her even if she tells him not to put himself at risk and AAAAAA

why are there so many amazing fams and theres even so many small hints of characters who maybe only interact once or twice and then there’s room to headcanon even more fams and AAAAAA and the protagonist’s place in the complex web of fams is up to you to decide!! ITS LIKE EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED IN A GAME

oh and randomly I liked that xiao mei’s father isnt a major character in the game, but there’s not any tragic reason or anything. he’s just a travelling merchant and lin fa is very accepting of her husband being gone off on trips for long periods of time, she has every confidence he will never stray away from her and she supports him pursuing his travelling dreams! and also it was funny how his one brief appearance has him with the generic traveller 3d model, to point out how much he isnt a main character compared to his wife XD and it was just really cute how happy everyone was when he visited, and how the player accidentally helps improve their family business! and aaa the backstory story about arthur’s mother is SO DAMN SAD, and dolce’s biological parents who she left behind when she sacrificed her life, and just AAAAA even the tiny one-line-only minor fams are such quality fams FAMS GAME REVENGE OF THE FAMS
