First look at The Year of the Dog

A new trailer has been released for The Year of the Dog, which is set to release April 7, 2023.

Matt, a loner alcoholic, struggles to maintain sobriety and honor his mother's dying wish to see him get sober. His AA sponsor offers him refuge at his farm where Matt finds Yup'ik, a stray husky with a unique talent. Their relationship struggles at first, but with the help of their Montana community, the two strays find a connection and discover what it takes to pull thru to the finish line.

Yes, it’s thought that The Bard of Avon was not that into dogs despite enjoying great comedic success with a dog as a character named Crab in his first play, The Two Gentlemen of Verona.⁣ ⁣ Things might have been different had he run across Ms. Sally, who could have easily handled a great many roles for him particularly those dealing with rejection as she was twice returned to the shelter from where she was sheltered until she was cast in her current role as a family dog.⁣ ⁣ Her past credits include some off-broadway work as a rage-filled troubled youth, playing destructive characters known for ripping things off walls and dismembering TV remotes. Sunday is the first day of the week and you know what that means! It’s #SundayFunday I get to hang out with my #BBFFE my bestest friend forever ever, @cindy_harrison0 and do a painting project in her class for #paintwithheart @cindyharrisonart and it’s so much FUN! Today we celebrated #chinesenewyear2018 #theyearofthedog and we announced the #WordoftheWeek PLAY it was awesome!! My #granddog was the star ⭐️ because we painted mason jars to use as treat jars with an image of our pets decoupaged on them and we hand painted a butterfly landing on it’s nose. Mine is not half bad! Mostly it was fun and that is the point! All the students had fun and some painted flowers and some just watched with their pets. Lol! This is going to be a fun week!
