sevika's always got some kind of makeup on her eyes.

every morning, she'll gently stand between your legs where you sit on the bathroom counter, her chin in your hand as you trace kohl around her eyes.

sevika washes her face before bed, but she doesn't go near the eyes. in her words "by the end of the day i've just got it smudged enough. i don't wanna take it off when i just got it right!"

so, usually, you see sevika with some kind of definition to her eyes.

but then you guys get married, and you go away for a week as your honeymoon, sevika leaves her makeup behind.

it takes a few days for all the eyeliner to fade away, but when it does, you think you fall in love with your wife all over again.

her face just look so much more open. without her eyes defined, her smile is the most noticeable thing about her. her sparkly silver eyes seem even sparklier without the black usually bordering them, and you realize with a thrill that your wife has puppy eyes.

sevika's eyes are huge. the eyeliner helps intensify and sharpen them, but when she's blinking at you completely fresh faced you realize that sevika's got some of the biggest, most expressive eyes you've ever seen.

sure, you're a little biased. but sevika seems to notice your reaction to her makeup-free face, because she smiles shyly at you from where she's resting on her pillow. "why're you lookin' at me like that?"

"your eyes are so pretty." you sigh dreamily. "they almost glow from within-- they're so sparkly."

"sh-shut up. they're boring gray."

"they're silver, sevika." you lean forward and gently peck one of her closed eyelids, then the other. "pretty as fuck."

"i hate you." sevika mutters. you giggle.

"too bad you married me."

"'s a tragedy." sevika says with a shy smile. when she opens her eyes again, there are vulnerable, happy tears welling up inside them.

Julian: thoroughly weirded out by his child's claims and gives up on trying to reason them out of thinking that they are a unicorn. later gives you a much more dramatic version of the story, featuring a raisin cartel with your child as the deceptively sparkly mob boss

Asra: completely onboard. their child's reasoning is totally understandable and for their genius alone deserves even more raisins. he is also going to inform you that he now identifies as a fox, and that foxes live off of cuddles and only you can keep him fed

Nadia: just ... why? spends two full minutes massaging her temples before sitting down, looking her child in the eye, and attempting to enter into a debate surrounding the ethics behind claiming other children's raisins by way of pretending to be a unicorn. fails gloriously

Muriel: hears out his child's reasoning, waits until he can talk to the teacher to get a better idea of the context for the mysterious influx of raisins. starts making sure their backpack is stocked with extra cheese sticks so they can trade for as much food as they want

Portia: gets so caught up in her child's delightfully vivid imagination that she ends up enabling them. why stop at a unicorn headband? she's going to make them a whole unicorn costume! still makes sure to check with the teacher about healthy food and trading habits

Lucio: he got lost as soon as his kid started claiming to be a unicorn, but he was fully back onboard as soon as they started talking about trading. spends the next half hour coaching them on how to bargain before remembering he should be reinforcing their moral compass

Oh sure thing!! Ok so most of this I actually plan on drawing something for at some point, so stay tuned for that, ehe

Moon!Donnie and Star!Leo hang out the most out of everyone. Thoes boys party all night, lighting up the night sky and watching the earth beneath them. But when dawn comes, Sun!Raph just DRAGS their asses back to bed, gotta give em a stern talking to every night XD

Leo has a very strong connection to the stars, he is the stars. If anyone reading remembers Rosalina's relationship with the Lumas in Super Mario Galaxy, that's essentially the same vibe as how Leo feels towards his own stars. They're essentially his children [save for Raph, he's special lol].

Although with such a strong connection comes some pain. Trillions and trillions of his stars are exploding every second. After an eternity, he's been able to cope, it's what happens in their life cycle, but it still hurts him.

I just posted a drawing abt this, but the shadows on donnie's arms shift with the moons phases! [This isn't WAY important when it comes to me just making the pretty drawings i wanna make tho. His base character design has the shadows abt 3/4 of the way up his arms and legs, even if I draw the moon behind him in a different phase lol]

Donnie's also got some alters, such as the Blood Moon, the Harvest Moon, etc.

Leo likes to put on a pretty show during the night for everyone down on earth, making sure his stars are extra sparkly and bright 😌

The Double Cast x Hello Saturday [Extra]

Of course, they had to make The Double Extra Show because of reasons (yes, they're just hot). It's pure fanservice, but mostly because our fave couple has such an amazing tacit understanding.

Wang Xingyue and Wu Jinyan are such kittens in this one. All smiles and sparkly eyes playing these cute games with each other.

Also, not her answering 'yes' when asked if Wang Xingyue was the most affectionate guy she's ever worked with, and him confirming it, ahah XD You guys are too much)))

And not them both answering 'yes' to whether they would fall in love with the characters they each played in real life. So sweet)))

Yep. XD I had her on the list to design a bit further down the line, but after realizing only days before it came out that there was going to be a new Legend of Zelda game to play, and then playing it for several days and super loving it, I just had to finally design the cat named after my favorite video game series. So here's the last drawing I have to upload in this batch, it's Zelda the kittypet, aka Violetshine's first girlfriend. XD

For her physical description, Zelda is described as a plump she-cat with a glossy pelt. I basically went all-in on making this girl as Zelda-like as possible while still staying realistic. She has a lovely regal look to her, a lovely thick coat, and long ear tufts to resemble Zelda's long, pointed Hylian ears. XD She has a scar on her leg from the first battle with RiverClan, where she was described as having a huge gash on one hind leg, the other scars are from that battle, the fight to drive the Kin out of RiverClan's camp, and the final battle against the Kin.

Her collar is of course a reference to the game character she's named after, if her owners are nerds (affectionate) enough to name their cat after a video game character, of course they're gonna get a collar that's as pink as Zelda's dress with a Triforce tag. XD The Triforce colors and the collar color are both color-grabbed from screenshots of the games, mostly OOT. Her collar is sparkly, hence the little dot/sparkle effects.

For her pattern, Zelda is just described as a tabby. I was definitely inspired by her wiki design as a very pale cream point tabby, but also a sort of golden point tabby felt very fitting for the golden-haired Zelda. I see a lot of fan artists giving her green eyes, which surprised me as most of Zelda's designs in the games have her with blue eyes, though she does have sort of teal-green eyes in BOTW and TOTK. Anyway, I always associated her with blue eyes, so that's what I gave kitty Zelda.

I sort of based her forehead markings on the Hyrule crest, but only loosely, she's not some magical cat who was somehow born with the perfect markings of a video game symbol, she's just a regular cat with realistic markings that happen to somewhat resemble it - she does have three triangle markings on her head, though, which is a nod to the Triforce. Also, I guess Vi has a thing for red-based point tabbies, given her later mate, and with the blue eyes Zelda looks a bit like her son Rootspring. XD

Overall, I'm really happy with how she turned out. :D Now that I'm done uploading all these, I can go back to playing Echoes of Wisdom. XD

Okay so

Chaotic chaotic x calm chaotic, ifywim

Indra gets jealous everytime Iris spends more time hanging out with Hermes instead of him.

Indra made Iris and Heqet best friends and they're sometimes like a trio, where Indra gets manhandled sometimes.

Indra also made Iris and Garud friends saying "yall so much alikeeee :D" and they're just like "Gurl??" but are used to his playful stereotypes atp.

In the Dionysiaca retelling, Iris and Hydaspes being (supposedly) twins, probably can get into like a sibling fight and Indra tries to break them off, even taking the help of Hermes as well, hence fixing their bumpy relationship over jealousy of who's the bigger bestie of Iris.

Another hc for the retelling is that Hera makes Iris overwork for her (out of paranoid-ish stress about Dio's side kinda winning) and Indra feeling bad for her decides to talk to Hera about it, and almost gets into a heated argument regarding this, but they calm down and Indra tries to reassure Hera. Iris loves him for this.

Zephyros and Shachi also become good friends because of their spouses, but the war messes up their relationship a bit.

When Hera asked Iris to talk to Hypnos in the guise of Nyx, Indra saw her in her Nyx form at night and almost fell off his bed (just how she intended things to go XD I can't with these two) cuz ofc Iris wouldn't leave for a mission without messing with her bestie for a hot second djfsdkj.

Indra understands that Iris is just as much of a messenger as Hermes is and hence he can't force her to pick any side. He's cool with it.

In fact, it would be Iris who would send the message to the Hindu pantheon about the war, and that would be Indra and Iris's first ever interaction.

Even when Iris disguised herself as Ares in the epic, she informed Indra about it in the most humorous ways possible.

Everytime Indra uses his rain-bow to shoot someone Iris is like "So which sucker are we queering up today" and Indra is just done with her atp.

Iris and Shachi are "sisters from different mothers" and gossip about Indra's shenanigans right in front of him.

Indra makes a ton of "killing the messenger" jokes and ends up getting bonked by Iris's kerykeion.

Indra knows all of Iris's epithets and she knows all of his.

IT'S ALL TOO MUCH! He can't stand her, he's gotta call it off, break it up, put an end to things-

Whoops, she gives him sparkly newborn eyes and all his determination goes to shit.

Pieck also stops at nothing to embarrass and humiliate him in front of the others. Jean could be talking about finger paintings and Pieck will just casually talk about how she likes his "handiwork"; nobody makes fun of HER because they know to expect her lewd humour, but Jean? JEANBO? Help, an aristocrat boy is being murdered in broad daylight.

Also when they get into fights, Jean is reassured by the fact that Connie and Armin are "on his side" but the truth is, nobody is because you just can't win against Pieck and everybody would rather be on her side. The pats he gets on his back are all just *sigh* f a k e.

Have you seen those ads for like anxiety relief hoodies on social media? Say Munakata or someone at Scepter 4 saw this and gifted it to Fushimi since he seems to wear a lot of hoodies. Now on days off it's all he ever wears and he's so chill during those times. They're oversized and cozy/soft I bet he'd love it

Why did this immediately make me imagine Fushimi as a dog wearing a thunder shirt XD I bet he would like a nice big oversized hoodie, he could hide a bunch of knives in it. Imagine Munakata buying this for him as a gift like shortly after Fushimi joins S4, Munakata wanted to get him something so that Fushimi could feel nice and relaxed in his new clan. Of course Fushimi never feels nice or relaxed anywhere so he just rolls his eyes at the gesture, like what a waste I didn’t come here for you to give me presents. Munakata says even so, the dorms are cold in the winter so please dress accordingly. Fushimi clicks his tongue but takes the hoodie, it’s not worth arguing with Munakata when he’s being all sparkly like this and anyway the hoodie isn’t so bad as far as gifts go, at least Munakata didn’t gift him a sentimental puzzle.

Fushimi didn’t bring a ton of clothes along to S4 anyway so as soon as it gets even a little cold he starts looking for something to burrow his skinny little frame into. He grabs the hoodie Munakata gave him and throws it on and it turns out to be very comfy, it’s super warm and maybe this is even like one of those weighted hoodies for extra calming effect. Munakata didn’t tell Fushimi that this is specifically for anxiety relief (because then Fushimi really would have refused to wear it) so Fushimi thinks this is just an unexpectedly comfy hoodie, he probably assumes Munakata used some of the S4 budget to buy him a fancy hoodie and that’s why it’s so nice. Munakata will spot Fushimi all huddled up at his desk in his nice calming hoodie and just smile to himself, it seems the gift is working as intended.

About You

When did you start writing?

I probably "wrote" before, but I remember wanting to write some huge fantasy epic when I was around 12-14. Spoiler: I did not, in fact, write a huge fantasy epic.

Are the genres/themes you enjoy reading different from the ones you write?

I read more things than I like to write. I only write romance-adjacent darkish fantasy (is it slice of life if the char gets sliced), but I love reading murder mysteries, some more mainstream romance, and lots of YA and fantasy that are heavier on the plot than what I do.

Is there an author (or just a fellow writer!) you want to emulate, or one to whom you’re often compared?

I don't actively try to emulate anyone, but I sure keep picking up things left and right. But even when I read something great and think "wow, I wish I could write like this" it often would not fit "my" style, whatever that may be. The one time I actively tried to soak up things was from my dearest @alittlewhump <3

Can you tell me a little about your writing space(s)?

There really is just once space, which is my desk, because I do not have a laptop and I will not write on my phone. Also, I never leave the house, so. (It's a mess, and with the exception of several character prints on the loft bed in front of the desk, the decoration is gaming oriented.)

What’s your most effective way to muster up some muse?

Hahahahhaaha. *sobs* Sometimes ridiculous deadlines and pressure work.

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and places you write about?

Absolutely. For example, I have never had real contact to anyone in my family outside parents/siblings/grandparents (and the latter are long dead), so I tend to forget that families can be bigger and most of my chars have exactly one sibling XD Also sorry y'all (nonspecific) are fed up with the generic western european fantasy world with deciduous forests, snowy winters, and castles, but *looks around* yeah.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing, and if so, do they surprise you at all?

Loneliness. Looking for a place to belong. Never being enough. Trying to figure out wtf love is. Haha. I am super surprised.

Your Characters

Would you please tell me about your current favorite character? (Current WIP, past WIP, never used, etc.)

We all know it's Damien, don't we? 😔 I can't just write like 300k words about a guy going through hell and back without loving him. He's perfect. Traumatic backstory. Lowkey morally gray even though he has such a good heart. He gets the pain, and the asexuality, and the self-hate, and the cool sparkly magic. For my active projects, there's Riordan, my aro-allo, ridiculously positive mercenary guy who has no manners - I really, really want to make him despair and cry for once. And there are Ross and Irina, and it's impossible to have one without the other, but I can't even say much about them yet, because they're still developing (we gotta get them out of the torture dungeon so they can have a personality.)

Which of your characters would you be friends with in real life?

Probably Merridy. I wish I could show her video games. It's a fantasy story and you can play it yourself? Sign her up. It would be hard not to be friends with Riordan, though.

Which characters would you dislike the most if you met them?

Except for all the bad guys, I think Lily would be too exhausting for me. Not so much dislike, just please get your early bird extroverted energy over there while I remain over here.

Tell me about the process of coming up with your characters?

I have a vibe, and that vibe grows arms and legs. Sometimes even a regular amount. By the time I put the char on (digital) paper for the first time, I know very little about them other than a few bullet points. They develop together with the story.

Do you notice any reoccurring themes/traits in your characters?

Asexuality. I have to force myself to write an allo char, and even then ... XD I also probably need a guide on how to write neurotypical chars, sometimes I look at one and am like... "oh no, not you, too." And almost all of them like books :D

How do you picture your characters?

I do not. (Aphantasia gang rise up.) I create portraits for them in the game I play, which works ok-ish. It doesn't have great options, but I'm stuck with it, because I have most of them as characters I play.

Your Writing

What’s your reason for writing?

I have to. There's things in my head. They need to leave.

Is there a specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating coming from your readers?

To be frank, I write about things that will alienate a lot of "normal" readers, be it the violence, the queerness, or disabilities. It means a lot to me if something like that resonates with someone, because if I don't reach that audience the only one that's left is the one that asks "but why would you include X, ew :/"

How do you want to be thought of by those who read your work?

While I wish my work to be perceived, I do not wish to be perceived myself.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I uh. Write. By which I mean, I don't need anything to start. No outline, no moodboard, nothing but 3 vibes in a trenchcoat and some random thought I had a few months ago. Sometimes I get stuck and lose interest, but I have a couple of finished works, so I'll keep going like that for now.

What have you been frequently told your greatest writing strength is by others?

I have no idea, but it's not prepositions.

How do you feel about your own writing?

It's good enough. (Except for the prepositions.)

If you were the last person on earth and knew your writing would never be read by another human, would you still write?

Probably. I mean, I hate writing by hand, so depends on how long electricity is running without any other humans around, but that's not the question, is it. I'm not sure it would take the same shape as it does now, if I never publish, I don't need to stress myself with the deadline of edits, but I would still have to put it all down, because I HATE when I forget my daydreams 😭

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely what you enjoy?

I mostly write what I want to read myself, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I have added things multiple times in the past thinking "oh, I know who would like that". To be clear, that's not talking about an "audience", that's my dearest friends who could go for a little impalement or medieval execution :) Sometimes it's also "you know what we need more of?" posts, but let's be honest, none of those people will ever read it. I just happen to agree with them. On the other hand, I have censored myself in the past because I was afraid what others will say. It's great sitting on every single fucking squick list out there. Lastly, there's also that issue where sometimes, I want to write something, but the story develops in a way that it doesn't end up fitting, and while I am sad, I will bow to the will of the story.

First on the docket: Sandylion!

As you can see, Sandylion has some good variety in terms of butterfly styles. I'm personally a fan of the one on the bottom left (how easily I succumb to anything small and sparkly...) but all of them are absolutely whimsical imo.

Next up: Hambly!

If they look a bit scuffed it's because they're some of the stickers I've had the longest! A lot of these are, actually. Butterfly stickers are like the ogs to me :P

AAAAAA I LOVE SEEING STUFF MADE BY ARTISANS!!!! I'm one myself LMAO I live for supporting local artists here, wish I had more money to actually buy a lot of stuff instead of only promoting around, but we do what we can, right?

Also I feel you on the "Idk where I'll put them" bc that's what I'm asking myself since before buying Marshall and Zuma with their vehicles. After I bought Rocky, I was surprised with the size of the truck. "Sweet Jesus if I buy more like I plan to do, I don't have a place to keep them". They're staying on my living room table until now XD

AND OMG WHAT WHY WOULD THEY PUT THOSE TWO SIDE BY SIDE

I saw a Paw Patrol bag (one of those with wheels??) at a "lower price" at a toy store because it was damaged - the zipper piece was broken. Too bad AGAIN I can't buy everything I see, bc I'd know how to get that fixed... Maybe it'll still be there by next month. Who knows. I can use it to keep all the Paw Patrol stuff I intend to buy or craft next XD

oooh! so strange how they just ended off ofmd at ep 6... i wonder why??? so strange, but i have random hcs on what the kiddos on the revenge would fixate on!! (+ ages too!! :>)

Eddie (ages 1 - 4): squids, dolls and beaches

- squids: oooh, eddie just loves squids!! mostly because mama stede calls him 'little squid', and that he finds them so silly! they just swim in such a strange way? eddie wants to try!! so now he swims like a squiddy XD and he reads lots of books about fishies and squids ;u; (and him and fang and izzy are all just sitting around each other and info dumping about each others favorite sea creatures ;u;)

- dolls: it was one day when he saw a vintage doll sitting on a shelf while the crew was out getting supplies at land. and he got super duper small, like he wanted the dolly. and mama stede ofc saw this and brought it for eddie, and then as a little surprise before bed, boom!! that same doll eddie stared at all that time ago!! now he carries it everywhere whenever he's tiny, and he dresses her into different outfits (that mama stede sewed up for him, because he wanted the same outfits mama stede had for his doll ;u;)

- beaches: oooh! i know he loves those beaches!! just sitting on the soft sand on a hot summers day really gets eddie all fuzzy and small :> (and as a kiwi living in nz, i feel as to say he would love the beaches here :>)

Izzy (ages 0 - 3): dress up, singing and whales

- dress up: oooh, he definitely got this from mama stede. but especially after ep 6, singinf with wee john all dressed up and had all that pretty makeup on, ooh!! now its a normal thing to dress up and wear such sparkly makeup!!

- singing: this is also from ep 6. :> izzy just love love loveeees singing now. with fang's ukelele playing, tiny izzy is just babbling up a storm!!! oooh!! he just loves to sing now and wants everyone to listen ;u;

- whales: i feel from when he carved out that wooden whale and gave it to lucius, he just adores whales (as a past whale fixator, he suits it to me so shhh) and hes always just sitting and reading a book about whales, or staring out at sea, hoping to see one :0

Fang (ages 1 - 5): fishes (mostly starfish and octopus), ukelele and swiming (+ just anything ocean related tbh)

- fishies: oooh!! from ep 5, he just love love loveees fishies and sea creatures!! especially the starfish and octopus. his whole little room is fishy themed!! just spoilt with so many little trinkets and baby stuff that stede gets him ;u;

- ukelele: ooh ooh ooooh!! he has this ukelele that hes had since he was little, its just a wooden uke with little painted fishies and tropical things on it to remind him of the beach ;u;

- swiming: oooh!! swiming so so much fun for fang!! he just adores everything related tk the sea, sitting out on the ship to see the pretty sea, or just splashing in water, but swimming is just his favorite!! and on the beach too!! and then he finds that eddie likes the beach too??? yay!! they can swim together!! :0

Jim (ages 4 - 7): storytime, painting, halloween

- storytime: oooh- jimmy just loves to make up tales, or share their own stories of their past, but with less scary parts of course. but it makes jimmy look like a hero!! and all the other littles seem to enjoy their stories! so much fun!! even if it has a few tiny lies to make it less scary :)

- painting: jim is such a big big creative kiddo!! painting on anything and everything they can get their hands onto!! and archie and olu are so proud of them!! just being so cool and creative??? like woahhhh :0

- halloween: idk why, but kiddo jimmy just gives me massive spooky month vibes (and hey!! perfect timing since its halloween soon!! :0) and they're the ones who tell the crew allll about halloween, info dumping all the fun things they did every single year for the spooky month :) and they always pull out with a party!! always doing cool decorations and paint on everything!!! :0

Lucius (ages 6 - 12): writing (ofc), drama/plays, sewing

- writing: writing is already such a big thing in lucius' life when he's big, so of course it goes down to when he's a kiddo! he writes so many silly stories all the time, also helping when jimmy or izzy come up to him with cool ideas (jimmy with the funky stories, and izzy with random songs he made in his head, which are just babbles XD)

- drama/plays: this goes hand in hand with his writing, but i think he just loves to read about shakespeare and just act out on plays!! and he always makes up plays for the little ones all the time!! (and stede is there to help with the drama part ;u;)

- sewing: he found out about sewing from stede. just watching him sew cool clothes, and make the perfect costume for his plays, ooh! so he learned slowly by himself, remembering steps from watching stede. and then he shows off his cool, frilly shirt he made!! even if it looks a bit wonky, it looks just how stede does it!!! (and him and stede bond over that ;u;)

Zheng (2 - 4): makeup, shiny things, paper dolls

- makeup: oooh, zheng just loves makeup! and she definitely keeps a whole bunch from china like certain blush and lipstick that makes her look perfect. and she ONLY shares her makeup to certain people, like Auntie, eddie and (maybe) izzy. but only if they do her hair in return XD

- shiny things: oooh!! she loves all things shiny :0 jewels, silver, even stone!! shes always out and about, trying to look for things to add to hed collection. and if someone (eddie) grabs the shiny thing before her, shes always like 'hey! thats my shiny thing! i found that first!! gimme! >:(' while she has like 7 other shiny things in her hands XDD (she just gives me big ADHD vibes XD)

- paper dolls: maybe it was because when she was a girl, she always had dolls and paper dolls, she always seems to go into a fuzzy state when having a doll in her hand or sight. she always gives them a personal makeover, makeup and all. and they always look so perfect and pretty :> and when someone (eddie) grabs at the dolls, shes just like 'no!! don touch them, meanie! get away from em!! not yours! >:[' and just fighting back and forth until she just gives up and throws a tantrum XDD

and yeah yeah!! just some silly things :) okay!! bye bye!! :000
