Everything we know about what happened to Khan, Bakara, and Lilotte after the movie

Despite the fact that the second Dofus movie has not been made (and, from the way things are looking, might never be made at all) we know quite a bit about what happened to its characters afterward — the reason for that is simple: they're referenced in the games!

In this post, I will try to compile everything we know for the ease of access — but I implore you, instead of using my abridged compilation, just watch my video archive instead, if you're really interested in these characters! The posts I make on the MMOs are entirely recapping everything I already went over in my videos.

BAKARA JURGEN

The Dofus MMO takes place approximately 200–300 years after the events of the movie, and 70–90 years after a genocide against Huppermages has been enacted by Bonta, which forced their people to go into hiding. (you can read more about this in my posts about the Dofus MMO!)

Despite such a long time having passed, one can still find people who look up to her in the world — including Kerubim Crepin, who reminisces on having known her, her brother, and her sister-in-law, before all of them were gone...

There isn't a lot of that is known about her life (or her involvement with Khan, and whether they ever became a couple...) but what we do know is that she grew to be a very well-respected leader and role model among huppermages, and lived a long, fruitful life.

And also that, just like literally everyone in the cast of the movie, she either lied her ass off about everything that happened in it, or the legends have distorted the truth badly.

By the time of Dofus MMO, Jahash and Julith are both viewed as icons and role models by the Huppermage community. It is quite likely that, at least in part, this is the case due to Bakara's (and then Agata, her heir/apprentice/daughter-figure's) efforts to not let their memory be forgotten.

Agata never discusses Bakara in her dialogues pertaining to Bonta's genocide of Huppermages, and when coupled with Kerubim saying that Bakara is "just a part of the history now" during his own dialogue on the topic, there is a heavy implication that Bakara did not live long enough to see this tragedy — and that her passing is not a fresh wound.

LILOTTE DELAGRANDVENTURE

There is even less known about her fate, but some things are pretty obvious: she had a family of her own — and she is still venerated as a great ancestor even six centuries later, by her great-great-great grandchildren.

You can find a descendant of hers in the Wakfu MMO, as a political leader in a tradition-obiding ouginak tribe, which is a very long cry from the way Lilotte and Indie led their lives as city-dwelling ouginaks.

For context, there is a bit of a... conflict, between these two lifestyles, which makes this development quite interesting:

I feel like this dialogue just speaks for itself, when it comes to the way people like Indie, Lou, and Lilotte are viewed by Ouginaks at large...

Considering the history of oppression that Ouginaks have, it is quite understandable why a lot of them want to live in an independent community of their own people — instead of molding themselves to fit the norms set by the followers of the Twelve gods; and why they may look down on their fellow Ouginaks who do not share this sentiment.

Lilotte's bell is a known relic, and her legend is still known — albeit with major alterations, which are most likely the result of six centuries having passed.

KHAN KARKASS

I have saved all content regarding him for last, because he is the one we know the most about — from the plans to include him in Welsh & Shedar, to his inclusion in the Wakfu MMO.

He is buried next to the stadium, with his Gobbowl cup — the greatest achievement of his life... despite him having years of life after it, as an adventurer. A bit sad, isn't it?

I debated including what we know about him in Welsh & Shedar in this post... but it's a bit of a beaten horse, by now, so I will just give the simple rundown:

In Welsh & Shedar, Khan and Joris seem to be pretty close, reportedly having adventured together after Khan's knee injury. Khan can be seen spending time together with Joris even in the trailer.

It is easy to assume that by this point, that with Joris being 60-years-old, most other mortal loved ones of Joris's have either passed away, or had their own lives to deal with, not having much time to spend together, which is pretty sad.

Considering the fact that instead of spending his time with Bakara, he is seen alone as an old man, it might be possible that she passed away before him or that their romance did not work out.

Another reason to believe their romance may not have worked out is the fact that neither Bakara's, nor Khan's fans, mention them being an item.

He also had the stories about him morph... but somehow, I really doubt that it wasn't his own damn fault.

Soooo a reply in the most recent Oil Is Thicker Than Blood release (by @dronebiscuitbat ) gave me an idea! And threw my impulse control out of my window!

who wakes up first? : gloria, usually. barbie is a HEAVYY sleeper and snores very softly and gloria thinks it's very cute.

who is most protective? : both. gloria primarily because barbie is new (at first) to the world and she knows how unnecessarily nasty some people can be. barbie is protective in the sense that she carefully watches how everybody speaks to and treats gloria, especially considering the fact that she knows how futile gloria can sometimes feel.

who is quick to jealousy? : both. but more-so barbie. she has big feelings and they're quick to get the best of her (gloria thinks it's hot)

who is the big spoon? : i love this one and i think barbie would be, even though she's the more gentle one. she loves the idea of being big and strong and protective over gloria, and gloria would adore it sm

who makes the first move and how?: both. but gloria starts it. she gets home from a really long, tiring day at work, remembering that sasha had mentioned a project she needed help on, and she's just exhausted. she walks into the house, though, to see barbie at the dining table helping sasha with said-project, nearly finished. dinner's also made on the stove. barbie beams at her and welcomes her home, giving her a big hug and gushing excitedly about how she and sasha worked so hard. sasha goes upstairs to put her stuff away, and barbie has pencil stains on her hand and face, her hair a little windswept, and she looks so simple and so perfect, and gloria says "kiss me." so barbie does.

who is the most insecure and what makes them feel better?: gloria. she doesn't mean to be; she just has some of those days once in a while where everything can feel so difficult. she usually feels better with some alone time. barbie is very understanding of that and loves to set up gloria's home studio with some art supplies and candles and books just in case gloria wants to spend some time in there. she'll also make her some tea/coffee if gloria feels like it

Pspspspsp... Anon McGee, back on my bullshit..

I come back bearing more fun Madness Returns tidbits and another Twisting Wonderland request! [Woo, finally making my rounds back to my roots!!]

First off, the request. Still using Heartslaybyul as our main little dudes, as per the usual. This is kind of circling back around to those imagines you wrote the first time I came around with nothing but a handful of small game facts, but overall the idea I've got floating around is just a short piece showing off a few times in specifics and detail where it was made explicitly clear that the reader has had experiences that cause them to be uncomfortable with certain things, view them entirely differently than how other people do, things of that sort [very much in a similar vein to the majority of the second twisting wonderland piece and the imagines, but this time with more focus and detail being put into these specific aspects of it]. Obvious wiggle room being extended here, do whatever you like with this, although I will add that I'm mostly requesting this to go hand in hand with the information I'm able to present as I keep playing through the game.

Now for the tidbits!

1. The inky stuff I mentioned in the prior Alice centered request is referred to almost exclusively in game as "Ruin." [I believe it's also called corruption or ink on a couple of occasions, but overall it's been mostly called Ruin.] This is mostly to go along with Alice's "ruined mind" and I think it's something that can go along well with our Alice Reader experiencing other students' overblots [something something "are they ruined too?" or something like that], or even having their own and experiencing what they might perceive as a repeat of events [although, I know you've already written a Yuu Overblot. I imagine this one comes around more to psychotic break rather than a nervous break, but regardless, it's an idea to be kept in a back pocket for a rainy day or something]

2. Alice is super badass and I am once again reminded that if I had gone into my very first request with all of the knowledge of her I have so far, I think we would have a very very difficult Twisting Wonderland [Actual Alice and Alice Reader crossover, when? /j]. She's incredibly skilled with fighting and I'm unsure of whether to chalk that up to her fighting solely within the confines of her mindspace in her Wonderland or if she's just cool like that.

3. After spending as much time with her as I have throughout my playing of the game, I'm convinced she's the kind of person who talks to animals and inanimate objects like they're another person [which, don't we all?], and as an extension, I'm kind of projecting that onto the Reader character. They're don't have an animal baby-voice, either, they just talk normally.

4. There was going to be a fourth thing here but I zoned out and forgot what it was LMAO

In order to portray all the lil tibits in this, I'mma put them all in a list form, sort of like a one-shot but not quite?? Idk, I'm tired right now but can't sleep aaaaaah!

This kindaaaa goes against some of the stuff I've already written, but we'll ignore the inconsistencies, shhhh-

I'm definitely gonna have to remember the "Ruined" thing and write a legit one-shot for it, don't let me forget it !!!!!!

Alice's Ruined State

"They're ruined."

That was the very first thought that popped into your mind with Riddle's overblot, and the thought that continued to plague you as more Housewardens succumbed to the inky black sickness, allowing the possessive liquid to overtake their body entirely.

They were ruined, it was clear for you to see. Whether it was called by this name or another in this world was nothing of your concern. What was it that was said?

"A rose by any other name still smells as sweet."

Except in this case, a more fitting name would be "a corruption by any other name leads to destruction nonetheless."

What the similarities between this world and your own mental state meant, you had no Earthly idea. How was it that this world was still connected to the one you had managed to escape all that time ago...? Was it simply your own curse? To have that darkness follow you for the rest of your life?

It all came back around, in the end.

It all came back to you. Twisted Wonderland twisting and spinning in a dizzying loop until it reached your own mind once more.

When the day came that you couldn't keep your old memories and struggles at bay anymore- despite the best efforts of the Heartslabyul students- you fell to the ground, hands clawing weakly at your face, struggling to cover your eyes from the horrors your mind forced you to see.

You were on Heartslabyul's property, of course, when it happened. You didn't know what had caused it to finally snap- maybe you had seen something in the corner of your eye that pushed you over the edge, maybe nothing happened at all, who knows!- but once it started, there was absolutely no way to turn back.

The blackness started to creep into your vision, blurring everything around you with a hazy shadow. Everything was dark. The bright green lawn turned to sickly shades of a dying brown and orange. The sky looked as red as blood. The flamingos were once again in a state of decay, teeth littered the ground around you, and the poor Heartslabyul students who looked on in worry appeared to be grotesque creatures staring at you with deadened eyes.

After all of it, you ended up in the same place.

Ruined.

2. The Fighter

Okay, hear me out: Our "Alice" (Yuu, technically, ig??) has a defense mechanism to unlock her inner baddie.

Riddle's overblot caused them to freak out and lose consciousness from the shock and trauma of it all, since they thought that they had left their own Twisting Wonderland behind years ago.

But when Leona's overblot comes around? They're very much different.

It's like something clicks in their head. Something buried within them that only comes out to play in times of necessity. A fight-or-flight mode stuck on fight.

Now that they're not completely overtaken by shock, and are somewhat prepared in knowing a) what overblots are, and b) that they're totally a thing that can happen here at NRC, apparently, our dear "Alice" goes into that mode and bam!

I'd be willing to bet that they can keep up with everyone else with just their fighting skills alone, without magic, tbh. Like, everyone is trying to fight Leona (or any other of the overblotters) and "Alice" is just over there absolutely beating the crap out of them with a stone-cold expression.

Needless to say, no one bullies them after realizing how bad they can mess anybody up.

3. Chatting Away

The sheer amount of times Grim has walked into your room thinking that you had a guest over, only to see you talking to....yourself (??) is insane. It takes him a while, but after some spying attempts, he finds out that you're not talking to yourself, but rather, to other things. Whether that be the lamp, your bed as you make it up for the day, an animal perched on the tree outside the window, or anything in between. He eventually gets used to it, though.

After all, once you had that kinda-freaky incident with Heartslabyul, Grim quickly realized that you weren't exactly a-okay mentally, that you definitely had some sort of unresolved/buried issues going on up there.

For all of his grumbling about "why can't I just have a normal hench-human??", Grim's suprisingly chill about it all, and will try his best not to go into a room if he hears you talking out loud.

And he makes sure to glare at any students who try to point out your strange habits in public. Although he knows you can totally fight for yourself, Grim threatens to beat up whoever points out the fact that you're talking to a tree, sending a small poof of fire their way.

And don't worry, he'll be sure to tell Ace and Deuce about your strange little habit so they can tell Riddle about it, too. okay i'll bite, here's my jeremy knox speculations !!!

it's nothing super outrageous in my opinion, as fun and interesting as that would be, but alas lets dig in.

with regards to the police, his step grandfather is a congressman which means his step father probably has political ties too. this could mean they have ties to the police force perhaps involved in funding or something?? hence why jeremy would be recognised by them bc he gets forced to go to these occasions to paint a perfect family picture and maybe they're full of cops?? and maybe that's just not something he wants to be associated with lmao. cannot blame him now can we?

rhemann tells jean he can ask jeremy to leave the vicinity if he wants to press charges and call the cops i don't think this is because jeremy could get in trouble or anything bc i don't think rhemann would risk that. i think it's just because him being there might have sway or might lead to more gossip among the force that jean would wanna avoid. and if rhemann knows about whatever this weird avoiding police thing is i'm not sure it would be something so horrible??

in terms of his past. personally i don't agree jeremy was aggressive as a teen. i read him talking about his high school team as more of a "they played that way. i didn't vibe with it. i wanted to make sure my college team wasn't the same" i mean it's basically what he says he doesn't imply anything else but again the guy is closed off as HECK so god knows. but i don't think jeremy has an aggressive tendency. i feel like, given how the foxes have their entire lives pried into, if jeremy had such a reputation in the past (being in a class 1 team and captain of it no less) it would be known. and jean would know bc of kevin's obsession. like that would be a huge scandal.

i don't think he's done anything crazy like murder or manslaughter or has any assault charge. although that screenshot i posted a couple days ago is very Very sus, i think it might stem from how his family makes him feel about himself. because again i don't think he'd be able to keep any of that hidden.

UNLESS it's been all swept under the rug thanks to the political ties from the step family, and maybe that's why they dislike him so much. but again i think it's all a bit far fetched bc i don't think jeremy would be able to be so well adjusted after something like that, even after attending therapy.

which brings me to my next point, which is where he mentioned his mother finding the therapist for him and his family as he says "us" when talking about it which means they all see this therapist and jean mentions jeremy does not seem bothered to be exposed for having to go to therapy. i think if he was in therapy bc he did something really terrible he wouldn't want it known. especially if it's meant to be swept under the rug. i think this is in relation to the mysterious brother and the possibility of losing them to suicide. as he becomes very serious when jean says he promised he wouldn't kill himself saying it's nothing to joke about. also his concern for jean's wellbeing after ravens start dropping like flies maybe bc he knows how the grief feels.

thought that could also be a far fetched speculation because jeremy says the fall banquet broke their family in half. it's obvious his step family and his older brother and younger sister are not on his side, his mother sounds questionable too. so maybe that just leaves his other brother and his father and again maybe it's just a case of them being supportive of jeremy's sexuality.

there's also a brief mention of jeremy's dad being stationed in europe - some kind of military man?? since his mother re-married there's definitely something there too. maybe jeremy still keeps in touch with his father and it's not appreciated by the rest of the family? idk this one's a bit of a stretch but i feel like it might crop up again. what with jeremy not wanting to be addressed as "knox" as well - is that his father's name or his step father's name??? why does he not like it??

moving on to the scandal at the fall banquet i think this has to do with jeremy getting outed for being gay. lucas before cutting himself off at the beach says "now that you're.." implying they didn't know before so maybe jeremy was keeping it under wraps but got involved with someone from another team (???) at the banquet and got caught. his step grandfather and step father, and brother are probably very conservative and of course did not agree with jeremy's "lifestyle" and i think this had consequences on the whole family as it probably got out and "tarnished" their image. jeremy was probably asked to give up exy so as not to get involved with all "that" and he obviously refused. punishment for that probably meant his sister not caring for his games anymore as he wouldn't compromise for her, him getting put on a strict allowance and his mother's bookkeeper having to keep up with his expenses bc he's only given a certain amount of money. maybe a way for them to take back control over his life?? it also could explain why he has to stay at home during the school year so they can keep an eye on him perhaps??? also him getting dismissed from the dinner table bc of his hair as well idk sounds like his family are probs homophobic. also kind of a stretch but mayyyybeee the reason jeremy feels so bad is because he got the person he was involved with into trouble so he feels like a terrible person. but again there's really no alluding to that or implication i'm basically just taking a wild guess. but i feel like it would make some sort of sense

TLDR; i think jeremy's big "scandal" was that he's gay and his step family are just not accepting so they make his life difficult on purpose and he struggles to stand up to them about it

Nari's Tsukutabe Superlatives! (Part 1)

Drama Superlatives | Shared Superlatives

This year has pretty much been almost nothing but "She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat" for me, huh? So many experiences, so much fun~

So, I decided to do a twist on these year-end "superlative" posts by strictly focusing on just Tsukutabe and my year with it! We're skipping some of the more obvious ones (Best Couple is CLEARLY Nomoto/Kasuga lmao) and trying to do some stuff that has a shot at being unique.

And, because of the way this sort of thing works, it's probably going to not happen again next year...unless we get some sort of super update with both the comic and the drama (or maybe another adaptation! Who knows!). I'll just archive these as new articles for my Tsukutabe Masterpost~

Anyway, let's dive right in! Part 1 will be focusing on the comic specifically.

BEST PANEL (TIE)

This is probably going to surprise folks, but I am a fan of "The Little Things." And, this is true with the winners as well. While I do love the pages that get shared a lot online - like Nomoto learning about asexuality from Yako, or Nomoto's early monologue about her being annoyed that her love for cooking always gets framed into traditional things - it's stuff like this that I truly enjoy.

In the first one, they're just standing out on Kasuga's balcony, watching the sun finish rising on this new year's day. A quiet moment shared with one another. The other - while trying not to spoil - is just a really sweet moment of Nomoto and Kasuga just, well, having a moment together. They're happy, they have each other. All is well in the world~

FAVORITE CHAPTER

Can I say Chapter 40 even though it's still a month until we get the English version of Volume 5? No? Still spoilers? Bah.

Well, besides that...Chapter 16 stands out to me a lot. Poor Nomoto...but then a realization and a new path forward. God, I love it

MOST RETURNED-TO VOLUME

There's just a lot going on in this one that I always end up just picking it back up for reference or for re-reading in general. It also has some of the most memorable moments that fandom has gushed about! I love the other volumes, of course! But for a category like this, clearly one stands out more than the others...

BEST DIALOGUE

The whole confession scene in the comic, bar none. All of it, including the silly way it ends. I even prefer this version of the confession over the drama's (though it is also really good). It's because it feels really relatable to my personal experience. I go deep into both ladies' POVs in two different essays, actually! (this leads to one but there's a link to the other one on it!)

BEST BONUS COMIC (TIE)

When I really got into my Tsukutabe brainrot, I looked all over for stuff. Still do, to be honest! But some of the easiest things to find are the bonus comics the official Twitter account has shared in the past. There's more than this, but these two are just my top faves.

Summaries: The first one is about Nomoto and Kasuga trying to find new things to wear for their outings. Nomoto is relying on searching online again while Kasuga is just kind of bored of her standards. Through their individual searching/musing, they simultaneously wonder what it would be like to dress up to complement the other's usual style. Then they show up for their outing and whoops! They ended up dressing as opposites but they look amazing!

The second one is about Kasuga wondering if maybe she could help Nomoto start up a VousTube (lol) channel though Nomoto isn't confident enough for it. They practice, and Kasuga is noticing her capturing of Nomoto's cooking just doesn't look quite right, especially since her shot of the chopping is being obscured by Nomoto's hand there. A lot of those channels use overhead shots, right? How do they do it? Kasuga thinks she knows a shortcut and the result is hilarious (then we get a little "no no" message from Yuzaki-sensei telling folks to not try what Kasuga did at home. Tis dangerous. Kasuga turns her phone off in response and Nomoto gets a chance to recoup from the moment of closeness).

FAVORITE DISH (Comic-Only)

It's spoilers, so I won't show it, but I really gotta give it to Kasuga's bento for Nomoto from Chapter 46. THE BEST!! [Though whenever S3 happens, this may have to change if they adapt the scene since I said this is "comic-only" dishes lol]

Because of the nature of my top pick, I'll share the runner up as well: The banana cake Nomoto makes to distract herself from her budding physical attraction toward Kasuga get her mind refocused lol

FAVORITE BIT OF TRIVIA (Comicverse)

The fact that this random, one-off lady from Chapter 16 is basically the inspiration for Sayama's appearance in S1 of the drama. Ever noticed that? Well, now you have!

FAVORITE (postable) ILLUSTRATION

I say "postable" as there are some pics I have in my files from Sensei's IG account, but they say to not repost or edit, so I'm being honorable with that (you CAN find them on her IG, though. They're still there)

So what CAN I post? This one, for sure!

A special illustration we were all treated to when Chapter 50 hit. It actually focuses on Yako and Nagumo, but I guess Sensei wanted to commemorate the milestone chapter with SOMETHING containing Nomoto and Kasuga so we got this shot of sweet, adorable domestic-ness. The pertinent text you need to know is the yellow text next to Kasuga: "Feeling our way around one another as we live together as a couple."

Hey, can't have these superlatives without hyping my own contributions that I made this year! This one's my personal fave, back when I did some local leaf peeping on a day off. I took the photo myself and then added Nomoto and Kasuga to the picture...it turned out really good! I think they ended up blending in perfectly!

Introducing: Jay!! My ducktales oc!! (If it wasn't blatantly obvious lmao)

Do you want to know more about them? No? Too bad!

Jay, aka January was the first ever clone F.O.W.L. created. However, due to a lab accident, Jay ended up not only with scrooge's DNA, but also Bradford's. Deeming the clone a "failure", Heron drops the created baby off at an orphanage.

(Bradford becomes enraged when he later learns of this - a child with his and scrooge mcduck's dna?? Just out there??? Has Heron no concept how problematic that could shake out to be???)

Jay spends the first 9 years of their life kinda bouncing from foster home to foster home (kinda developing a bit of a thing abt people seeing them eat. Because of how their beak is a bit weirdly aligned, they can't eat quite the same as most others, and people stare.). But eventually they scrape together enough resources for like, one of those online-dna testing kits that spit out who you're related to.

Turns out their parents are Scrooge McDuck!!! (And some random vulture guy? Weird)

Thus, Jay sets out to become an adventurer like their dad, to meet him one day on their adventures!

Except, first adventure they immediately get trapped in a parallel, kind of very hellish dimension. They get out after three years, but they're pretty traumatized - and pretty much pu off of adventuring forever.

(Though they do find and keep a magic amulet in [hell dimension] that they use to cast spells. Mostly teleportation spells, really.)

Deciding they don't really want to meet a guy who's whole schtick is adventuring, they instead begin their search for dad#2, that vulture guy.

They find out he works for scrooge mcdad (of course he does) but don't judge him too harshly yet. From what they can find online (public libraries for the win!) the guy doesn't really... Do anything. Let alone go on adventures.

So Jay decides to find out where he lives and well, just kinda shows up at his door.

Much surprise is had, it's not quite the family reunion Jay was hoping for but they haven't been kicked out so they count it as a win.

Staying with their dad is pretty great, actually. He even hires a private tutor for homeschooling, since Jay missed 3 years of school and has a lot of catching up to do.

(they definitely hoard food in their room somewhere, just in case. They also have a bug-out bag ready at any given time. Just in case.)

Turns out, Dadford doesn't only also hate adventuring with a passion - he has a whole secret organization to take over the world and stop all adventuring! Forever!

(Jay found a secret stash of files on the computer they use for video games.)

Thus, at the ripe age of 13 they become the youngest FOWL agent ever!

And because they are kind of a big security risk now that they know, they get moved out to live in the outpost at the library of Alexandria instead, together with a bunch of the villains Dadford recruited.

(including Phantom Blot who Jay has an ongoing rivalry with just because they use magic sometimes lol)

(they and the villains play mario kart/party together on sundays)

Eventually, (three years later) season 1 happens and seeing the mcduck family successfully overcome the rift that della's absence left, dadford decides to put one of his better pawns into play.

Through some posturing, magic pyrotechnics and a fake mystical artefact, Jay gets planted into the mcduck family as scrooge's "magic child/clone".

(this happens during the episode "The Depths of Cousin Fethry", while huey and dewey are out meeting their cousin, scrooge, louie and webby go to find an invaluable treasure and return with Jay. Cue scrooge introducing Jay as his kid and Huey and Dewey going "wtf did we miss")

They go along on an adventure or two, mainly because saying "I hate adventuring and I don't want to do it because I was traumatized and hate it" doesn't make sense for someone who was just created from an ancient magic artefact. But after a couple adventures they can finally just put their foot down and stay home. It's chill.

They draw sometimes, do a few commissions.

Scrooge wants to bond with them so they teach him how to play video games and they watch some shows together.

Eventually, the last adventure rolls around.

At the point where Webby pretends to be June and kidnaps... Herself (yknow what part i mean. Probably) Jay comes with the clones, obviously shocking Webby.

But they make it to the library without any particular incident - except Huey getting discovered, obviously.

Jay stays behind to "escort June and Webby". They've very much realized the switcheroo that Webby pulled and use their (thus far mostly benign) magic to switcheroo back.

They nod to June, explaining that they didn't say anything earlier so that Director Dad doesn't get on her case too bad about "failing".

After that, Jay kinda just goes off to hang out a bit. Drink some pep. Chill.

On the way to Webby's cell, she wakes up and takes out June. (Because of course she does. She's Webby.)

Cue the rest of the finale.

Right up until Dadford is fighting McDuck and his fam. Because now, he calls Jay forward, who kinda immobilizes the fam with their magic for a bit.

Dadford throws his employees into the death pit, but oh shock! He picks up to throw Jay in as well.

And he does. He does throw them in.

Luckily, Jay is a master at magical teleportation and nobody realizes they weren't, in fact, erased from existence.

Bla bla bla, scrooge signs the papyrus, "family is the greatest adventure of all", boom the other vilalins show up to defeat dadford once and for all.

But what's this? It's Jay, with a magical barrier, protecting her dad from being turned into a non-sentient vulture!

They teleport themself and Dadford outta there.

At this point they're assuming they got thrown in the pit as a sort of surprise/back up, to make everyone think FOWL was already defeated when they were still there and alive. Yknow, a backup plan.

They live on the street for a bit, but Jay manages to get a job, securing the two of them an aprtment.

Dadford doesn't rlly come out of his room for a while.

Jay gets it; having ur thirty year-long plan derailed like that couldn't be, yknow, pleasant.

At some point, Louie finds them at their job and basically blackmails them into helping him out during adventures. (They kinda hide in his shadow, basically/louie summons them, so when something particularly dangerous happens they can subtly magic it away.)

Dadford eventually emerges from his room and drops the bombshell we all already knew: he very much did intend to kill Jay that day.

Jay is kinda shellshocked. They sort of robotically just return to their routine; go to work.

Louie summons them to deal with an adventure again, and wouldn't u know it? Its an adventure in that hell dimension that Jay got stuck in as a kid.

This, coupled with the revelation that one of their dads tried to kill them, kinda makes them very uncareful. They get revealed to the rest of the family but manage to get everyone out of there.

They reveal that Louie's been blackmailing them and the fact dadford tried to actually kill them sorta spills out in the same, emotionally charged rant and to their surprise scrooge offers to allow them back in the mansion, despite everything.

Jay hesitantly accepts, but mentions that they would like to keep working their current job. This is agreeable to everyone.

Jay returns to their apartment later, under the cover of "going to work" and find dadford packing his things.

They're like, what r u doing? Where would u even go?

And he's like, idk, i'll dip into my grandma's account or smth, its not like u want me here anymore, what with the attempted murder.

And Jay's like, I didn't say that.

Stunned silence.

So anyway, Jay sighs and tells dadford he's allowed to stay at the apartment and that Jay will stay at the manor again.

This is how far ive gotten. If u have any ideas/thoughts/complaints, drop 'em somewhere i can see 'em!

No its 2023 and people are deciding to keep ot real with you instead of deluding themselves and changing fhe narrtive to cater to a ship.

Respectfully, lets not speak on a language we dont know shit about, lmao.

Ichigo omits the pronoun when he tells rukia 'i've come to save you' in soul society that's because he was literally speaking to her, had been bickering with her from the previous page and had already told her he was there to rescue her back on the bridge - so he didn't need to specify to her 'who' he'd come to save: this is a typical example of "japanese omitting pronouns because they're obvious"

in the lust arc, ichigo is quite literally unconscious and unaware of his surroundings: in order to make it clear to the readers that ichigo recognized orihime, a pronoun (actually not even, he should have used her damn name like ichigo always did when he thought about rukia in ss) **needed** to be there without it, especially coupled with the fact that he speaks in broken japanese from that moment to the end of his transformation (i.e. he uses a mix of kanji and katakana, the latter of which is only used for foreign words, robots or - in bleach's case - hollows, and usually to signify that the speaker is just muttering sounds and doesn't understand the actual meaning of what they're saying), and the fact that he literally quite literally proceeds to throw orihime off the dome with absolutely no care for her well being, it's damn obvious that he had no idea who was yelling at him, he was only aware of the fact that someone was asking for help and got triggered by the word 'save'

"I mean this is just hilarious to me. Here's Orihime and Ichigo, literally placed together in side by side panels as Ichigo continues to chant about protecting...And ichiruki shippers are like, "hmmm well, it's not super clear who he's talking about because there's no pronoun so...I guess we'll never know 🤷‍♀️."

So being places together in panels side by side means he's referring to her? May I remind u he's just raised from the dead, and orihime is shocked as she processes what's happening. Those panels were to emphasise that. Not only have u attempted to educate me on the Japanese language and failed, you've now tried to say side by side panels somehow equates to the fact that he's referring to her? 💀.

This was orihimes own perception of the situation. Orihime isn't a fact page, she's her own charecter with her own dialogue and thought. The fact she perceived it that way doenst mean its the case. She didn't imagine anything, it jsut looked that way too her, may I remind you she was the one screaming. She knows she's the person the screams belong too, ichigo doesn't. So of course she's gonna think it's here fault, common sense people.

You also proceeded to bring more asspulls and try and say how the databook confirms its about orihime when it was in third person.

"The readers aren't the ones who bound Ichigo to Orihime's screams (especially not you, anon, since you keep insisting it had nothing to do with her lmao). Kubo did that. That's how he meant for this scene to be interpreted: that Ichigo was bound to Orihime's screams. But you're still here fighting against it for some reason lol."

Did kubo tell u that he meant for the scene to be interpretated this way? Or did some angel come to you in ur dream and tell u that? If thats true, kubo wouldve simply added confirmation that hes talking about orihime by adding pronouns or her name. Instead he doesnt do that and has ichigo propell her away

He was bound to her screams, it's just that he didn't know the screams belonged to her, as long as those screams belonged to someone, he's gonna get up... that's who he is. It could've been anyone else screaming there and he would've stood his ass the fuck up, that's his charecter and what he does. Lmao you think this would go without saying, but the lengths ppl go for shipping is hilarious.

He could hear her voice, he just didn't know it was her. Just that it was somebody, it's not that hard to grasp. There's nothing wrong with ichigo not knowing it's orihime but since shipping has rotten yalls brains, it has to be about the Princess hime, and not about ichigos own charecter, because everything has to be about orihime, right? Your opinion on this probably won't change, that's granted as a deluded shipper. What also won't change, is the fact that this isn't an ichihime moment. U attempted to educate me on the japanese language and failed, I recommend doing more research time. I also reccomend not bothering to reply to things like these if ur arguement is just gonna end with "well ichihime is canon, deal with it" because it makes u look silly to say the least, and has nothing to do with the convo.

a lot of intimate details of topmew's relationship were strangely out of frame. like, when top touches mew's thigh in episode one:

i do think it lends to the realism of their relationship, because it doesn't have a lot of those "om G they did something GAY" moments that you see in a lot of BLs. they just act like a couple (or flirting, in the case for episode one), and we're all just witness to that. and maybe that's why they don't sit well with a lot of BL veterans and BNFs, because so little of their relationship is played up for the camera.

like a lot of the show, their love scenes are mostly shot hand-held (both steady and shaky cam), and this scene

is shot from behind a wall, at a distance, and it has this voyeuristic quality to it - but not in a sinister way, because they're at a party. in this scene, it's as if we're partygoers who happen to come across this quiet moment of raw intimacy.

it all tells us that these are stolen moments of something real.

(side-note: i'm not comparing this with the other couples in the series. i don't care enough about them to double check if their scenes are shot similarly lmao i only remember how different the choreography was)

that being said, even in moments where the POINT was that they were holding hands, where the emphasis of the shot should have been on their hands, it's not.

which idk maybe it was something with the dp, limited time/shots, or editing. i think the above video was presented how it was intended (since it's so natural, who even knows if book was directed to do that or if it was his own choice), but in the first episode, you'd think it'd be kind of a big deal? since so much of the scene is about top hitting on mew? like, top does it when he says that he'll go to get more drinks and mew nods kinda shyly. you'd think that there would be some emphasis on the fact that he came on that strong - BEFORE he found out that mew was a virgin. maybe they never shot another angle where it was obvious what he was doing, but whether it didn't exist or was edited out, it still feels like a way that production sabotaged them as a ship lol

there was a lot of talk about only friends changing the bl industry and unfortunately i think the main takeaway is going to be that subtlety is lost on its audience 🙃

(that's not me saying that the subtle approach to the aforementioned ep1 scene was the right approach, since MOST viewers didn't notice it and the ones who did it probably took multiple watches or someone in the fandom literally pointing it out - i think i needed to have it pointed out iirc. showing top coming on to mew isn't spelling it out for the audience, it's enriching the story...)

I love ur asks btw haha. I was just wondering ur tips/techniques when kissing. I get scared if I'm kissing badly when I do it.

I've answered this before, although I was more answering "wtf should I do" XD If you're afraid of kissing badly, I think a lot of it is in your head. It doesn't help when you psych yourself out, yk? Most likely what you are looking for is building confidence in yourself and your sensuality. Start off gentle and simple.

Other than the obvious of maintaining good dental hygiene, definitely invest in a good lip balm. I've been using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask for years and before that I used Aquaphor (this is NOT product placement, pfft, I just like hydrated lips), but use whatever works for you. I've been asked to kiss just so they could use my lip balm (cheapskates :P). Most people don't like getting other products on their lips except for lip balm. Taking good care of yourself makes it one less thing to be nervous about.

If anyone is curious, I primarily use the flavor Gummy Bear (iykyk). I also like Watermelon and Peach Ice Tea, but they're limited edition summer flavors.

My top tip is to not plan it. The less you plan how you are going to do it, the less time you have freaking out and the more natural it will feel. Now, I understand it is difficult if you're not the instigator (which I usually always am), but you can focus on nonverbal intimacy. Getting close, caresses, teasing that you might kiss and don't, etc. Plus, giving the other party equal chance to pull you into a kiss takes some pressure off you. Sneak a kiss in if the timing feels right and go from there. Positive response? Keep going. First couple kisses are usually simple lips-to-lips.

I wouldn't go crazy unless that's the vibe.

Don't be loud about it. Use light pressure to press your lips outwards. If you're afraid about the length of the kiss feeling awkward, keep it short. You can vary the length and pressure for some variety when you're comfortable. If you're going to introduce tongue, I would start with just a little flick against the lips. Slower is better than faster. You can move away from the lips in between kisses if that constant contact is too anxiety-inducing. Kiss their cheeks, neck, ears, etc. It is also nice to touch in between or during kisses as you are building anticipation to the eventual reward (kisses or whatever else, keke). I find a lot of people like their hair touched but, in case they don't, ask.

And, of course, pay attention to their body language.

Honestly, people who are bad at kissing are bad because they're too busy trying to create a scene of that they think kissing should be rather than feeling the connection with the person they are with. They're bad because they think kissing is like porn, or in the movies, or some other delulu world they're in. Intimacy is depicted in a showy way in visual media because it is, well, visual. But that's not how it is in reality. Some of the most beautiful moments are simply staring into each other's eyes. It's important to be cognizant of yourself and your partner(s). Do what feels natural and comfortable in the dynamic that you are part of.

Don't feel embarrassed about asking what to improve on, edit out, or work on together. Sometimes coordination is hard to nail down, welp. If the other person is going to be a jerk about it, I'd probably think twice about kissing them. Instead of worrying about what you might lack, think of it as being open to learning more. I think she is the most wasted potential in Skybound (Doubloon is a close second)

Let's start by the first thing we learn about her. She is Nadakhan's Quarter Master. Basically his second! Above Flintlocke in hierarchy of the Misfortune! This has to mean something, right?

I know I enjoy writing Nadakhan love blinded but O MY GOD she has to be good at what she does for her to reach this post/level/whatever the word is.

Else she would've been cited as like Nadakhan's partner? Or something.

Of course there could be the explanation that she got this place with Nadakhan just being in love with her but nah that's bullshit for me.

She's a pirate! And I do think it would be by choice! Let women make their own choice damn it

I've seen people say that the reason why, when she's brought back, she's excusing Nadakhan's behavior in the original episodes, would be because of the djinn's wish and magic doing the "what he wants to see and hear" once he sees her but nah. I don't think that's the case at all. She would understand his choices, despite not being aware of what's really going on- she must have done her fair share of sacrifices herself (soon to be written about in one of the other fic I'm cooking) and he's the one she loves!

I also love to think that Nadakhan fell in love with her because she was as ruthless as he was.

And because, I repeat, she must've been good at being a pirate and therefore a psychopath of some kind akjzgsg but a strong woman nonetheless, that got whatever she wanted whenever she wanted

About their relationship ;

Nadakhan is in love, with her. Madly so. The first thing I couldn't pass or ignore, was him ready to betray his friends to bring her back.

And Delara loves him back just as much. And I know that she could be using his feelings for her own profit- she's a pirate! of course she would- but that's absolutely not how I see them both.

I see them as a couple that works, despite their OBVIOUS flaws. A perfect mirror to Jay and Nya's situation since they're not… in a good situation in skybound lmao.

I feel like there was such a missed opportunity at having the route of Delara/Nadakhan and Nya/Jay parallels (We're definitely entering spoilers for my fic but I need to ramble about it a bit so I'll try to keep it as non-spoilery as possible)

One would be a good and healthy balance in the relationship, but yknow they're villains and pieces of shit, the other would be with a non-healthy almost toxic balance, getting them to where they're going to end up in my fic (i'm cooking with jaya angst ehehe (soon to come don't worry))

That's something they (well more Nya) are going to understand, which will break apart their ship a bit more

ANother thing that is important is the Nya and Delara parallels that I'll also work on in the future (spoilers so I won't delve into it)

im watching yurikuma arashi (my piece of media for february, last month's was trigun stampede) and im really liking it but i feel like my brain is not big enough for this show 😭😭 i read the manga adaptation a couple years back but i remember approximately none of it so essentially im going in blind lol

god where do i even start. the hito = person = homo(sapiens)/yuri = lily = homo(sexual) wordplay going on in the subtitles is kind of fun. that's not really important though i just appreciate the work the translators are putting in

i feel like as with any ikuhara work there's a level of metaphor happening that you can see through really easily - like DUH the bears are an obvious stand-in for homosexuality, and of course the line about "girls who have strayed from the herd" refers to the same - but beyond that it gets so much harder to parse. thoughts under the cut 🫶

(this show does deal quite explicitly with themes around sex/sexuality, so content warning for mild nsfw discussion under the cut)

something that stands out to me immediately, which i feel like was discussed in the post i saw years ago that initally introduced me to this show, is that the ursa are being used as a vector for the simultaneous societal demonization and sexualization of sapphic love. the ursa consume these girls wantonly, and are painted as something monstrous and other as a result of these feeding habits; at the same time, the act of feeding, as we see it portrayed when kureha is involved, is overtly sexual. the ursa become young, lithe girls, and the camera doesn't shy away from objectifying their exposed bodies. when interacting with each other as ursa, however, their hunger rolls off their backs like play-fighting between kittens - they no longer have to fear being turned into one of the monstrous, after all. the appearance of the ursa also directly plays into this; in the show's mythos, the ursa are menacing and dangerous, creatures to be feared, but are presented as small, non-threatening, teddy bearish animals - in a similar way, lesbianism is feared for its potential to "corrupt" young girls, but never taken seriously as an aspect of one's personhood or lived experience, instead objectified and treated as novelty. this link between the ursa and homosexuality is something the show is acknowledging in its text on so many levels; after sumika goes missing, the other girls at the school discuss how it's safest to go about in groups of three or more - the implication being that leaving yourself alone with another person opens you up to being preyed on by an ursa in disguise. in a way, this wraps around to being an in-universe societal condemnation of sumika and kureha's relationship, though no one around them seems to think much of their bond otherwise - like, *of course* someone like sumika got picked off, why would you spend time alone with one other girl unless there was something off about you (ie. because you're already one of the ursa, or because you're otherwise in league with them).

it's interesting to me that life beauty keeps winning the court cases against life cool. the species divide court is supposed to be unbiased and impartial, dispensing justice according to an arbitrary universal balance - that the ursa were exonerated in both episodes i watched seems to be building up to the revelation that the ursa's feeding habits aren't the gluttonous acts they're set up to be, that allowing them to pursue their desires falls well within the theoretical universal standard of "fairness" despite the charges being lodged against them. which. *queer woman voice* duh lmao.

it's also interesting to me that the ursa are tied to the idea of sexual maturity/relationships transitioning to a more "adult" or physically intimate stage. sumika and kureha obviously care for one another very deeply, but they were still very much acting like two younger kids with crushes on each other - holding hands and whispering sweet nothings, but not much beyond that. in contrast, all the ursa we've met have engaged in sexual activity with a partner, or at least expressed a desire to. there's an idea being drawn out here that intimacy between girls is acceptable as a childish phase to be grown out of, but something that becomes dangerous when it persists into womanhood, and given these girls are just coming into puberty, it makes sense that in a lot of cases the line ends up being blurred, characters like yurizono starting on the "safe" side but quickly turning into ursa as their devotion to and lust for another girl grows.

anyway. super fun so far and im excited to see how it all plays out!! i do remember a little more from near the end of the series, so it'll be interesting to see how it fits in with what's being established here at the beginning :)

(edit: coming back to make a couple small corrections, which are that a) i've learned the manga and anime differ pretty drastically which. i was starting to suspect a while ago but i'm noting here for posterity's sake lol, and b) yurizono was actually an ursa from start, it was just kind of hard to tell what the show was doing there at first, though that doesn't negate this idea being worked through that intimacy between girls is acceptable as long as it stays "innocent")

Some of these show up repeatedly in my fics, but I'll try to think of a couple new ones off the cuff to keep it interesting lol.

Sherlock is just a teensy bit masochistic. Like very mildly, bordering on vanilla. He likes having his hair pulled or being bitten.

Sherlock really loves giving blowjobs. I think this headcanon probably came from the old stereotype (?) about smokers and oral fixations, and now I have to fight with him every time I want him to do literally anything else in my spicier fics.

My headcanons for their levels of previous experience vary day to day, but at the moment I think neither had partnered sex before each other, but Sherlock has always been a "jerk off once a day" kinda guy (the endorphins are just another kind of high) and William was some kinda Xie-Lian-esque monk who just recited his own weird little theatre kid mantras to himself whenever he got hard and practically willed himself into semi-impotence because damn it, he had important things to do and boners were a waste of time. (Then Sherlock came along and absolutely destroyed this carefully developed system.)

They definitely do endearingly cringe little power play games, all "Mwahaha! I've captured you now, Sherlock Holmes. How will you convince the Lord of Crime to let you go?" and so forth. Liam has to let the theatre kid out somewhere. They're both very horny about it.

Liam likes delayed gratification. Likes to spend days building up the tension, teasing with little kisses and looks and brushing touches. Letting the want build. Sherlock "hates" this right up until he gets to enjoy the explosive results, at which point he's determined never to complain about the process again (right up until the next time, when he immediately starts complaining about the process again.)

I'm thinking about MY as LQR's son. I'm not sure how it happened (Maybe Lao Nie or WRH dragged him to a brothel before things went downhill, maybe LQR didn't always have a stick up his ass, he's a Lan but he's still a second son) anyway, so on.

I think it would be interesting to watch as things develop because LQR probably wouldn't want others to know he's visited a brothel at some point (even though lying is forbidden but LQR breaks a bunch of rules in the novel anyway), so he wouldn't name MY Lan even if he treats him as part of the main family (like the WWX and JFM situation)

You know xiyao first meet? It's pretty damn obvious LXC fell for him at first sight and the thing is he would here too. Because he doesn't know they're related! I think it's funny that MY has to constantly dodge his (very subtle admittedly) attemps at flirting because they're cousins and he can't say anything because LQR doesn't want him to.

And this would give MY an entirely different breed of daddy issues! LQR is fundamentally good but he's not exactly loving, and MY has to go above and beyond to get the tiniest bit of praise from him. Kinda like having an openly POS parent (aka JGS) and being at peace with that/ not having lots of expectations vs living with someone who you know loves you but is at the same time very strict and has very high expectations so you want their approval because you know you can get it if you just try hard enough.

And then SMS comes in! He has his reservations regarding MY at first (because we know cql SMS was loyal to LXC before it all went to hell), (LXC just cant appreciate undying obsessive devotion smh) and maybe sees him as a threath, but then MY is genuinely nice to him and remembers him, acknowledges him in a way neither the twin jades nor LQR ever did, and even praises him for his hard work, so SMS is absolutely hooked

And they fall in love! MY is kinda afraid to ask LQR for his blessing but by the time he does the wangxian stuff already happened (and maybe nielan shenanigans, I firmly believe LQR would disaprove of NMJ bc of the violence of the Nie cultivation and the utilisation of resentful energy that comes with it) and he's just relieved his son isn't in love with a war criminal or a violent brute (as he percieves NMJ)

And then MY becomes Lan Yao (and gets a courtesy name, thinking shuài 帅 as in handsome/graceful/smart and ráo 饶 because it has connotations of abundance and forgiveness/mercy, two things the Lan sect values, so Lán Shuàiráo 蓝帅饶)

And then there's the part of canon where we know SMS walked out of the Lan sect by his own foot! And I think we can assume it was out of shame, so like, JGY defending him! The Lans scorning him for attemping to sacrifice Mianmian, but JGY, who feels secure within the Lan sect, and who values his life above nearly anything, would go "No, no, you were afraid and under threath of death, I'd do that too" and convinces SMS to stay, while shutting down everything throw SMS's way

Cue SMS thriving and happy as (maybe) Lan-furen serving JGY in every way like the loyal dog he is (as in canon)

AAAHHHHHH I LOVE THIS!!

I've seen a couple fics/scenarios in which MY was born into or made part of the Nie and the Jiang, but idk if I've come across him being part of the Lan. I vibe with the idea of him being the child of LQR (and a product of one of the man's wildest and probably most regretable decisions lol).

It's interesting that it would lead him to have a whole new brand of daddy issues, a milder kind too since he's not at risk of getting thrown out at the smallest mistake and that at least he knows that his father's praise IS obtainable, if not easily. In any case, he would keep his nuanced mentality at still not being fully honored as a true son of the Lan and all, but not his extreme survivor mentality that often led him to tolerate abuse.

And I don't think debuting new ships should mean the old ones should disband as long as they are comfortable, get solo works as well and the cp merch still sells which is the case for most.

But anyway yes, the BLs this year have not been good due to the fact that they keep relying on the ships rather than the stories which is sad in so many ways. They know that fans will suck everything up as long as it's a popular pair which is technically nothing new but it's still frustrating to see. Especially since I cannot comprehend what ppl even see in most of those ships lmao rip. I miss the times where they actually tried to stand out with their BLs. They're feeling too secure and the quality suffers.

All of their effort seems to be going into the bromance genre lately which is um. interesting lol. Both Peaceful Property and Highschool Frenemy, as well as their older non-bl hits are excellent productions and are popular despite not having any canonic romance and instead implications that are left to the viewer's imagination etc. And especially after the success of HSF I'm expecting more shows to follow that lead.

GLs are on the rise which is good so I'm expecting more to come. 23.5 was mid and Pluto has been amazing so it's a 50/50 situation rn lol. I have high hopes for "Us" as well though so hopefully at least gmmtv are shortening or skipping the high school romance phase for their GLs which the BL world still can't seem to shake even after 8 years lmao.

YES ACTUALLY<3 ok so, this is kinda spoilery but also really fucking cute so :3 when kyle got his feeding tube, it included a 1-2 weeks long hospital stay. He was super insecure about it, also worsening his already bad relationship with his scars, which made his mental state pretty fucking shitty... Stan stayed at his since he was let out because he's a codependent bastard, and at one point kyle broke down and told him about what was wrong, and our lovely staniel just. Told him he still found him beautiful and that he was glad Kyle was there and a bunch of super sweet stuff that made kyle feel so much better about himself<33 idk man they're so cute (also im writing the fic that includes this lmao)

🌷- How does being disabled imapct their love life? For example does it impact their date nights, activities they can and can't do as a couple, ect.

First, going to restaurants is a No. Unless they have been previously deemed Safe by Kyle, they will Not have dates there (because they can't know whether a restaurant's food will or not trigger an episode as they haven't made it themselves and all). Also Stan's whole depressive episodes make going out harder, because whenever it's a Bad episode he won't even leave the house so like... but they still manage :)

🌲- How do they accommodate eachother? Do they have a routine that helps with this? Do they do this consciously or subconsciously?

I WILL NEVER NOT TALK ABOUT STAN BEING THE FIRST PERSON WHO KNOWS KYLE'S SAFE FOODS !!! This is something he does almost subconsciously but he will not make anything Kyle has trouble eating, and even when they were younger he remembered to bring to school something Kyle could eat (orange juice usually) just in case his mom packed stuff he had trouble with. Kyle meanwhile knows all the signs Stan is falling back into an episode, and he's slowly learnt the ways to pull him out of it before it gets bad :)

🌳- What would happen if they were to break up and/or loose eachother for any reason? How would this impact any party involved, would this trigger their disability?

Stan is So codependent he'd probably not survive without Kyle. Ever. Like, he tries not to make it obvious because he doesn't wanna trap Kyle in an unhealthy relationship, but he's so bad at dealing with Kylelessness he literally couldn't survive by himself. Kyle too but Maybe not to that level because my boy has a permanent layer of mild dissociation that would maybe protect him from the breakup ;w; (but like, they're both codependent as fuck, they're not breaking up ever 😭)

When he's having a bad day, Kenny usually can't even leave his bed (and less home), so as stubborn he is he lets Butters pick their plans for the day because he's so much better at accomodating Kenny than Kenny himself 😭 Usually their dates those days will be cuddling in bed/the couch and watching a movie, playing videogames, reading comics... depends on what they wanna do tbh, but they both like those dates a lot :) Also, honestly all their dates incorporate Butters' sensory issues in some way, either him wearing his headphones when they go to loud places (arcade or the movies) or making the TV quieter and dimmer, they incorporate their disabilities in pretty much everything they do even though they never mention it XD <3

🪴- If they plan on having a family how does being disabled effect this and their decision? Alternatively do they plan on having pets, of so how does being disabled impact their collective decision?

First, SHADOW !!!! Well, she wasn't really in their plans originally... she was more like a "yup she's coming with us alright" kinda split decision, and Lemon and Kafka were just an extra XD But they would've gotten pets either way, Butters is the biggest animal lover and Kenny is close to that position too lmao<3 About having children, this was a harder thing because Kenny wanted to be a foster parent, but realistically they wouldnt be able to care for that many children :( in the end though, they adopted a girl and they aren't the best parents but they're pretty great<3 (this happens in their 30s tho XD)

🌱- If the ship were to get married how would their wedding accommodate their disabilities? Alternatively what would their house/appartment/whatever accommodate them?

"No Ken, we are Not getting a house with stairs" -Butters Stotch (he's learnt after their old appartment, Kenny+stairs aren't the best convo 😭) - Their wedding didn't have that many accomodations, quieter music and not that many people invited (Butters' parents had coming in Forbidden. btw.), not that much but they had a great time still :)

��- Do they ever have to deal with ableism in regards to their relationship? How do they deal with it?

Short answer: yes 😭

Sadly, they get ableism both ways ;-; Kenny is the one who's most visibly disabled out of them, so Butters gets a shit ton of "you are sooo inspirational for dealing with this, i could never" (insert confused Butters noises, he doesn't get tf they mean by that 😭) and "are you Sure you want to live with That your whole life?" (yes he does he loves kenny with his whole life fuck off 😔✨), and also obviously a bunch of assholes talking to Butters instead of Kenny whenever he's pushing his wheelchair (insert butters being nonverbal atm so Kenny's the one who gotta do the talking 💀). The opposite way too, mainly the times when Butters is having meltdowns - for example, once they were at a party and Butters got really overwhelmed, and instead of helping a lot of people told Kenny horrible things I'm not repeating, and even though Butters was mid-meltdown he still remembered all that stuff and Kenny had to reassure him so much as soon as they got home :(

Butters picks it up pretty soon, but whether he mentions it or not is another story. When they were in school, in case Kenny didn't skip Butters would not say anything until they got home or at least they were alone, instead sending Kenny disapproving looks every time he lied about why he looked so tired TwT then when Kenny started using aids, Butters (and pretty much anyone who knew him) could tell in what lvl of pain he was in depending on what he was using :3

Kenny has a bit more trouble telling, as a teen he usually had So Much stuff in his head so he couldn't catch the signs (as much as he cares, noticing your friend is having a bad day while you yourself are running on 5 energy drinks and 2 hours of sleep isn't the easiest task 😭), which meant Butters usually had to let him know in some way - tugging at his sleeve most times, as he struggles with speaking on bad days. If Butters didn't do that though, Kenny figured out by seeing how he looked much more anxious and was looking around all the time, and he'd make sure to keep him safe and stay with him till they could get home. As adults, Butters had the whole "being out of a dangerous environment means PTSD gets Bad" era, and it was a lot easier to tell as during bad days he didn't wanna leave their room at all, which most times caused Kenny to stay there too till Butters felt ready to go outside<3

🍄- Free question!: If one of the characters disabilities is a progressive disability how do they plan their future? Does this impact their relationship as a whole?

Aaaand another one for bunny cuz I'm not shutting up about them ever (srsly i need help 💀)

This wasn't something they discussed much, Butters was aware Kenny was getting progressively worse because he's good at noticing that stuff, but it wasn't until they got older (40s-50s) that they had a "it Is getting That Bad" moment. Kenny hadn't been dying for a Long while, so he had no idea what was wrong with him this time till he (finally) went to the doctors - basically, huge spoiler ahead lmao, his deaths had just been speeding up an already existing chronic pain condition, so he probably wouldn't have had the whole dying pains thing if he hadn't had that condition in the first place. This whole thing Fucked Him Up, he hid it from Butters for as long as he could, he would lock himself in his room for days on end, he didn't know how to deal with knowing there was no way to stop it besides permadeath :( as soon as Butters knew, he comforted Kenny, because his worth didn't depend on the stuff he could or couldnt do and his love wasn't affected by Kenny's disability at all (🙌!!), and they did their best to get used to the whole thing and manage it, together<3
