Not experiencing sexual attraction, refusing to have sex, or having a complicated relationship with sexual feelings is 100% queer and outside of the norm in a sex-obsessed society that guilt and mocks people for not having experienced it, and at the worst of time, forces it on people, telling them that they'll have a changed opinion of they just experienced it for themselves. being guilted or forced into interacting with sexual media or having friends try to force you into sleeping with someone is harassment and assault.

having a complicated relationship with gender that results in someone feeling agender, whether they have no gender at all, or have a gender that feels partially agender and partially another gender often results in someone being told they're confused, or have no idea what they're talking about. many people refuse to acknowledge someone who totally lacks a gender identity, or identifies with gender neutrality.

aplatonic people are frequently told they are losers, or just have anxiety or are experiencing their feelings due to depression or something similar. aplatonic people are told they do not understand their own feelings, when it is a very valid experience to not experience platonic feelings or have a very complicated relationship with them that leads one to feel happier not engaging in those relationships.

these are very real issues aspectrum people face. even if an aspec person doesn't face these problems, they are still queer. they are still aromantic, asexual, agender, aplatonic, or some other like of aspec. you don't get to tell them how they experience their identity, and you don't get to tell them they're not queer or don't experience hardships and denial of their identity. i want to see more people talking about and accepting these identities in 2024. no more pushing aspectrum people to the back, we are here in the front with everyone else, shouting alongside you. we all deserve to be heard- including asexuals, aromantics, agender people, aplatonic people and other aspectrum folks. we are all shouting for our rights together. let's shout for each other, too.

umm yeah so... we're not even done with the first season, so idk. from S1-B I predict more of what we've had so far; more or less episodic comedy, slowly easing us into a connected plot. 6th episode already kinda introduced that.

it's gonna be one of those cartoons like TOH who start off silly and episodic in the first season and develop into a melodramatic serialized show from 2nd season onwards.

He loves to feel useful, even with something mundane like reaching something up high for you or even hoisting you up through a broken ceiling or over a wall. He additionally likes to show off strength. He smashes through walls and doors like cardboard, and crushes just about anything under his gauntlets with ease. On the other hand, he loves it when you feel useful as well. Sure, he can count back dozens of times when he could've dislodged a safe door or tore the wires from a terminal to deactivate turrets, but instead he chose to step back and admire your handiwork. And when you succeed, he always boosts you with praise.

The only hack he uses to style his hair is mud, sweat, and grease. And it still looks flawless every damn time.

There's no way in hell he walks around with all that cake and authority and NOT have an aggressive fanbase on the Prydwen. That just ain't so. Heroic actions and deeds in honor of the Brotherhood are what yanks his immediate attention. He's also trained enough soldiers to tell the difference between talent, potential, and kissing up. Keep in mind what I said about his awkwardness with physical touch, because when he's actually starting out in a relationship, it is so over for him. At first he almost wishes you'd remain friends just so you wouldn't give him heart murmurs every 5 fucking minutes. He also grows more protective over you than ever before, but that isn't surprising. Give him a few weeks to settle into this new territory and he'll gradually adapt. You do your best to go at his pace, so instead of downright kissing him you peck him sweetly on the cheek. The more you do it the more he realizes just how much he adores it. Even now he still has a hard time expressing his feelings, so you have to study close for any cues he may give you. Somehow if you're just not skilled at reading him, he'll eventually get persistent enough to lean towards your level and sit jagged and redfaced for a while until you deliver.

It's funny to watch him try and squeeze into an elevator. He'll go the extra mile to search for an intact flight of stairs just so he won't look like a Jack in the Box. Will's Blood Transfusion Dilemma

Will is going to be injured and in need of a blood transfusion.

It's revealed in TFS that Henry's blood type changed after he got lost in the UD for 12 hours. His blood was then used to replicate his powers through blood transfusions. It's pretty clear that Will's blood type is also different because he went through an identical experience to Henry.

The Flayed were also given powers through Mind Flayer blood type changes, which looks very similar to Will's s1 predicament. Later, they have black blood flowing through their veins. That's the special power blood.

Alright so Will has the Flayed blood type that Henry also has. So what?

Well there are multiple signs about blood donations at the end of s4 which are likely foreshadowing someone needing a blood transfusion in s5. At the same time, they're going to have to introduce the concept of different UD blood types AND make Will aware that he has the special blood type. But there's a way to do all three at once.

Will is going to be severely injured.

In the blood donation screenshot, the arrow is pointing outside. Earlier on, we see the tent (red and white stripes) for blood donations and then it transitions directly to... Will. Along with the ominous caption of death toll numbers rising. Hm. Blood donations... death toll... Will.

The camera also pans to Mike after we see Will. Is this possibly foreshadowing Will sacrificing himself to save Mike?

There's another blaring blood donation sign in the hospital. "Be a hero, give blood." Will is practically shining in the spotlight in this scene. Everyone else, El, Mike, Lucas, even Max, are wearing blue clothes in a very blue hospital room. Will is wearing yellow. He stands out against blue because they're complimentary colors. We are meant to focus on him. The sign is yellow too. They're linked!

Will is also awkwardly lingering in the back of El and Lucas' hug for no apparent reason. In the second image, it looks like he's looking directly at the blood donation sign. Will’s general aura is off-putting in this scene. He's just standing there... MENACINGLY. So I feel like this strange behavior is linked to something hospital related.

Now into the grit of this theory. At some point in s5, Will is going to get hurt, likely in a self-sacrificial nature, and lose a lot of blood. This will pose a dilemma for our characters because he can't undergo a regular blood transfusion because he doesn't have normal blood. They'll have to find a way to get Will more of the UD blood FAST to save his life. But how?

There are a few possibilities. The most interesting possibility, in my opinion, has to do with El. El has the special blood too. The lab gave her blood before starting NINA (see here). So El may need to donate her blood to Will.

The sign we see in the hospital has a pretty good hint at this. "Be a hero, give blood." El is constantly referred to as a hero. She could be the hero donating blood! This is hammered in as Lucas is describing how Max was brought back to life by a miracle, who we know was El. They practically zoom in towards the sign during these lines. She might need to bring someone back to life again.

This would be the quickest solution... but it may come at a cost. We know that the Mind Flayer sucked Henry's blood out of El in s3 and this made her lose her powers. It's possible that El donating her blood to Will could take her powers away. She'll have to make a choice between her powers and her brother's life.

This would cover all the bases. The different blood type, Will having said blood type, and the origin of the powers.

There is an issue with this part of the theory, though. El would need to get her powers back again. She'd have to venture back to the lab to get more of Henry's blood that I'm almost 100% certain they have stored. This would be repetitive considering she spent the entirety of s4 trying to get them back, and there's no way she's ending the show without her powers. That's just not what her arc is about.

BUT it's possible that El's blood transfusion won't take away her powers. El could still be the donator without sacrificing her own abilities. This would make El's donation foreshadowing work without being repetitive if she can give just enough to save him and her powers.

I'll still go over the other possibilities to be safe:

Instead of doing double El transfusions, they could go directly to the source. They get to the lab, find the blood, and save Will that way. But this would take too long. If Will is truly under dire circumstances, he won't have time to wait around for them to find more blood.

So... what if they go to the source source: the Mind Flayer slash Vecna. Let's say the injury occurs in the Upside Down. At that point, it may be faster to get it straight from the source instead of running around trying to find El.

We know the Mind Flayer/Vecna wants Will alive. So if Will intercepted an attack from one of them because they were going to hurt someone he cares about, it would ruin whatever plan Vecna has for Will. Vecna would be forced to give Will the blood himself to keep him alive.

Will needing an abnormal blood transfusion would also play into the AIDS metaphor that's very present in his storyline. If Will goes to the hospital before knowing about his special blood type, he may encounter the homophobic stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS because of his condition and the town's assumption of his sexuality. That would bring this narrative string from a metaphor to a literal commentary.

Oh and while I was typing this post there was an (apparent) casting call for a nurse with hematology experience. You know, the study of blood disorders. Well there you have it!

So yeah. Will seems like a big contender for the blood donation receiver that's foreshadowed at the end of s4. What kind of injury I’m not sure, but it has to be BIG and BLOODY. Good luck out there, son.

Tig couples and whether or not I think they'll take their partners' last name when they get married.

Avery & Jameson: I 100% think Jameson would take Avery's last name. While I know Avery doesn't like her dad, she definitely must hate Tobias way more. The man quite literally used her as bait to protect his boys, so I don't think she wants the fortune to go back to the Hawthorne last name which would happen if she takes Jameson's last name. I don't really think he would mind, he would understand why.

Libby & Nash: I think that in this case Libby will take Nash's last name. I know Nash wants to stay the hell away from the Hawthorne last name, yet I think that for Libby changing her last name would be like letting go all the suffering she faced when she was younger, her father, mother and drake. So I think they both would rather keep the Hawthorne name.

Max & Xander: In my opinion, they will also choose the Hawthorne last name. I don't really have a reason why, it is just the vibes they give me. Also, Xander, despite all, loves Tobias. While Tobias wasn't the greatest Grandpa for the other boys, he was sort of acceptable with him, so I think he'll keep the last name.

Thea & Rebecca: I don't have much to say here more than BURN THE LAUGHLIN LAST NAME TO THE GROUND! I only like Becs from that family, so yeah Rebecca Calligaris it is.

Grayson & Lyra: ( I ship them so...) Neither will change their last name. I don't think Grayson wants to be anything more than a Hawthorne, and Lyra had her life screwed by a Hawthorne, so I don't think she will want that. Either each of them keep their last name or they'll choose a hyphenated surname like: Hawthorne-Kane or Kane-Hawthorne. If they have kids of course they will have both last names (just like I do, in my country we don't change our surname when we get married).

Truth time.

Hating on a show before it even premieres all because of developing changes is very narrow-minded. You've already given up on the actors who have poured their soul into every scene. You've given up on the animators who have given every ounce of their artistic energy to ensure we have an authentic final edit. You're giving up on the choreographers who specialize in martial arts that were beyond excited to consult on a project of this scale.

So yes, some things have been changed. Does that mean it will be terrible? Who knows. But you haven't even given it a chance.

Changes are a part of life. In the world of remakes, I think we've already learned that change is needed to draw attention to a new audience. Personally, I welcome newcomers to the ATLA fandom. They'll have the chance to watch the original series, to watch Legend of Korra, to read the comics, to read our beloved fanfics.

I have Asian and indigenous friends who are incredibly excited to see the live action and support the actors 100% no matter what the final story arc will be. It means so much to them that Netflix took the time to build out a cast in a way that is far more authentic, casting-wise than either the original animated series or movie that shall not be named was. By dismissing the show before the premiere, you're dismissing their work and their own creativity.

So, please. Slow up on the hatred for some of us out here who want to give the show a chance. Will it be a hit? Probably not (it is Netflix). But does it deserve to be judged on the series itself and not assumptions that are already being made? Absolutely.

Seriously, the level of anger and frustration in these posts is depressing and in a world that is plenty depressing on its own, why don’t we all take a step back for a few weeks and just chill.

Hello, on your recommendation (I think) I watched Sonic X in Japanese for the first time at the start of the year, I was also watching it in the English dub at the same time to see how different they were and oh my god, all the changes they did, the censoring, cutting out scenes (Chris' flashback hello???), not using the original soundtrack, like eggman's theme, come on. But one scene (of many) I was so disappointed about was when Amy gets kidnapped, and they cut out the little scene where she is telling Lily (the flicky) about telepathy and how when someone really cares about you they'll know how you feel, and they actually show that Sonic could hear Amy calling for him, but it was cut out in the dub!!

But besides this rant, I wanted to know you're opinion on the song used in episode 52 for the sonamy reunion. As I understand it, Natsu No Hi played in the Japanese version when it originally aired, but then they changed it to Hikaru Michi for copyright reasons. I've looked the lyrics up for both songs and although Natsu No Hi makes more sense for sonamy, I got accustomed to hearing Hikaru Michi because of the 2nd ending for the series, and with the whole clip of Sonic walking towards Amy in that same ending. I guess I was just wondering which song you liked better and if you think, there's anything in the song Hikaru Michi that could resemble sonamy?

For anyone who either knows the language or can manage subtitles, please—I am begging on my knees—watch the original Japanese Dub of Sonic X. I don’t care if you watched the English version and love it. I don’t care if you watched the English version and hate it. I don’t care if you are Chris Thorndyke’s biggest opp. Please watch it. It is 100% a different show and 1000% worth your time!!

As for the song, Hikaru Michi (The Shining Road) is very, very, very, very, very important to me. It is probably the quintessential sonamy song for me, and very fitting for their dynamic in the show. Sonic and Amy’s relationship (the true depths of it) has always been subtle. There’s always been another layer to their chase, and more and more recently those layers have been starting to merge in media. However, in Sonic X, their relationship is very “secret”, so I think the idea of the two of them sneaking off for occasional alone time or stolen moments, as the song implies, makes sense.

Not to mention, the song’s overall use in the show is phenomenal. It’s an emotional whammy… and it’s for that reason that I think I prefer Natsu no Hi for ep 52. While Hikaru Michi is very sonamy coded, Natsu no Hi is different and stands out at a time when it really needs to for the narrative!

At the end of the day, pro wrestling is a fight, so if someone snaps at you, you should snap back. I don't care if he himself agrees or not. If he's going to be a heavyweight wrestler than he's going to get bigger for that and a build a body he can use for that. I think he will adjust that himself in the future. As far as yesterday is concerned, I think it's enough that he showed up as 'Bussan'.

I guess I'll go into detail? This is jumping around in the timeline a bit, but somehow Endô made his challenge after the main event. It feels like before that he was looking at himself and checking what it was that he himself needed right now. Through the match with Ibushi. His question to Ibushi after the match was probably also part of that. In other words 'Do you love pro wrestling?' You get it, right? Tecchan was asking himself that. In reality the answer was already there. Because he was asking that inside a wrestling ring. But for him, that was probably the last piece needed [to make his] challenge. 'I wrestled because I love wrestling. But sometimes it was difficult in wrestling. Would I continue to love wrestling despite that?' That led to him declaring his challenge after the main.

Kôroku. I'm glad he got a taste of Ibushi before the others. I don't know how Ibushi is going to wrestle for DDT in the future. But I could see him wrestling in matchups that are meaningful. Consequently I guess he won't really wrestle those with shorter careers we call rookies. Thus it's a valuable experience that shouldn't be wasted. And on top of that. Of course, I don't know if this is the correct answer. I don't know, but if I had been Kôraku, I think I would've said 'This guy is crazy' during the match. After all, he tried to asphyxiate him. So I get the feeling that he acted in this kind of position in the match. And by doing so [Kôroku] became a key person of the match. But I don't know if it's the correct way to go to repeat that over and over. It changes depending on how you want to be perceived. Wrestling is hard.

Akito controlled the match. At the very least he did for our team. Akito's control of the chaos was very effective when it came to how excessively often it was Ibushi's turn, even though this was his return match after injury. There was a way everyone conducted themselves that was like, 'Everyone wants to see Ibushi in this match.' The nerve of this guy to have this kind of important position in DDT, in deed as well as in name. How upsetting to think that, I thought in admiration.

And actually, me and Ibushi. This is important for this match. I was able to predict the fact that Akito would help 'Ibushi's match' along the way I noted earlier, so here I shoved in my story with Ibushi, as is my nature. I thought I would do it as soon as Ibushi made his entrance. I write about this in more detail in the paid part, but I understand where Ueno and Mao are coming from. I guess you could call it a concern for the "current DDT". That's why I brought my story with Ibushi here. I think the result was worth it. We mustn't go back to 8 years ago, after all. Not just the wrestlers in this match. Every wrestler in DDT right now. The whole of DDT, in a way. And neither should Ibushi. We live in the now, facing the future together with the past. ...This is the kind of thing I will get deeper into in the paid part.

Oh yea no that has 100% changed. In Season 3 the two of them behave like brother and sister. They will still act like they can't stand one another and would rather feed the other to a werewolf but they secretly enjoy each other's company.

There are still times where the other gets on their nerves, I don't think they'll ever get over that but they definitely are those two siblings that scream their hatred every second they can but got each other's backs.

that's not what jackles said. that's like, a smallllll snippet of the entire thing. he essentially, in my opinion, said the Testament aka cas' Declaration and proof of love [i find it interesting he corrects himself from confession to testament by the way when we all call it the confession, he calls it a testament, which is astoundingly amazing] stands as it is, and that their love for each other is going to basically be understood when they're reunited. They don't need to have a sit-down chat or long-winded therapy discussion about their feelings.

We, the audience, also know where they both stand with each other. This concept that they'll get Cas back and he won't know that Dean loves him back is astounding to me. Jackles is saying essentially that they're each other's people, that they found each other, that they keep finding each other, and that when they reunite, both of their feelings will be understood.

And that dean understands. When they reunite, it will be understood that dean understands. He didn't say there wasn't going to be reciprocation, just that Cas' words don't need resolving.

Aka, what's changed from previous answers he's given? From "let's talk about that goodbye" to now? I'm being mostly serious when i say, i think they've outlined that scene or have a rough outline on how that scene is going to go and he's trying to give an answer without giving away the store lol.

I say this because this was a pretty detailed answer, in my opinion, and him calling Cas' words a testament instead of 'the confession' also makes me think there have been some conversations.

i know that assumption is wildly speculative because who knows where they are in the continuation process behind these scenes but given the fact that it's actually quite useless to even have a continuation unless they follow up the destiel arc and finish up that storyline, i do think it's been top of mind for everyone involved. Yes, including jackles. Don't even get me started on him correcting that fan who shouted subtext with text.
