Mass Effect: Labyrinth, the sequel to Mass Effect Discovery, continuing the adventures of Nathaly Shepard.
Chapter 47: The Streets of Abael
Excerpt:
EDI spoke as they proceeded, to her alone.  “Shepard.  There is something else.”
“What, EDI?” She kept her attention ahead. If they were nearing the crewed area, they could expect a lot more resistance.
“I have continued to scan the Collector ship externally, and pulled relevant files from Cerberus databanks.  It is certain that this ship is also the same that attacked the Normandy SR-1.”
She stopped in her tracks.  Kasumi nearly collided with her.  “That can’t be right.  Run it again.”
Now they were all staring.  EDI continued to use the private channel.  “Every simulation yields the same answer.”
The Collectors had contracted the Shadow Broker to retrieve her body.  If they attacked the ship…
Her blood turned to ice.  She couldn’t be the reason.  If she was, then her crew was dead because of her.  Because she’d provoked an ancient race mortally opposed to organic life.  Because she’d beaten them back.  Because, by reaper standards, she was interesting in a galaxy full of disposable slaves.
Shepard forced her mind away before that notion could grow and sink into her spine. No, if the Collectors took out the first Normandy to get her body, they would have taken it with them, then and there.  Not waited a month.
“Shepard?” Samara asked.
She shook her head, to clear it as much as signal an answer.  “I’ll tell you later.  We need to focus on the mission.”
No, it made no sense at all.  And she silenced the little voice wondering maybe they didn’t know any part of you was left until Cerberus went looking, too.

CHINA UYGHURS
CHINA UYGHURS
In the past the Muslims in the OIC accepted the US publicity that China was mistreating the Uighur Muslims. Thus, in December 2018, the OIC said something that incorporated the accompanying:
Among different circumstances, the Commission was likewise informed on the common liberties circumstance of Uyghur Muslims in China, which shows rising segregation based on their religion by exposing them to compulsory changes in confinement camps where they had to follow and receive social qualities and practices in opposition to their strict convictions. The OIC Islamophobia Observatory educated IPHRC that Chinese specialists call these camps as re-instruction focuses to battle viciousness and fanatic philosophies. As indicated by the OIC Islamophobia Observatory, the recently presented Chinese law in particular the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region DeRadicalization Regulations (in October 2018), was unnecessary in nature as practically any action could fall inside the extent of its arrangements and empowers the specialists to legitimize the presence of detainment/re-instruction camps.

Broken || Belle and Rumple
@aldahi-rp
Belle frowned when Rumple had snapped at the visitors.  She figured he was rapidly reaching his limit.  He would probably be better off if he could go lay down someplace (and let her look at and disinfect his wound) and he was very unlikely to do that as long as 3 people were still standing around in his shop, now all staring at him with increasingly suspicious expressions.
"The door’s over there” Belle reminded them, just in case they were having difficulty finding it.
For the first time Emma noticed Gold hadn’t moved from that spot.  And he was sitting rather then standing as he usually did.  And he was holding himself very rigidly.  It wasn’t like the casual, condenseding way Mr. Gold ordinarily moved.  Her super power was about LYING not hiding thing- but he was definitely hiding something.
“What are you hiding?” Emma asked.
The conversation had turned in a direction that Rumple absolutely did not want it to.  He hadn’t wanted to talk to them at all, but at least when they’d been talking about Henry, or the curse, they hadn’t been wondering why he was sitting on the stool instead of standing, or walking around like he normally would.
He was definitely not going to answer that question, even if Emma realized that he was hiding something.  She’d probably think he was hiding something worse than what he was actually hiding, but Rumple didn’t care.  She could think whatever she wanted of him.
Why couldn’t they just leave?
“I believe I just said that I am done answering your questions,” Rumple said.  “Yet you keep insisting on asking new ones.”

Best Girlfriend Ever dd
Could you do a David x reader where they are out on a shopping spree and they meet a few fans through out the day
Don’t know if this is what you wanted. I stared writing and this came out. Hope you like it.

You were convinced he was only doing it because he had spent the day before at his ex’s birthday party and had bought her a really nice gift. You told him you weren’t fussed about it, and thought it was sweet of him to still turn up. Even if deep down you had hoped he would abandon the brunch and come meet up with you and Natalie at Universals.
“David I really don’t need anything,” you complain as he pulled you into another store.
“Well you’re going to have to pick something,” he says over his shoulder. “Or we’re never leaving this mall. Unless you think this place isn’t good enough. Do you want to go to the Gucci store?”
“That is not what I want,” you answer. “David I was more than happy sitting on the sofa with you while you edited. We really didn’t have to come shopping. It’s not like I need anything.”
David stops in front of a row of leather jackets and turns to look at you. “This might sound weird, but I woke up this morning and had the need to buy you something. I don’t know what it is, but please let me do it.”
“I know what it is,” you mumble.
“You do?” David frowns at you. “Want to explain it to me then?”
“Not really,” you sigh.
“Now I really want to know,” he says taking a step closer to you.
“Well I think you maybe want to do all this for me today because you feel a little guilty about not coming with me and Natalie yesterday. We had It all planned for when Reggie came to spend the day together, but last week you found out about the brunch and I told you to go there instead.”
“So you didn’t want me to go to Liza’s thing?”
“I didn’t want you to have to choose,” you answered. “I wanted you to do what you wanted, and you did.”
“But if I had decided to blow off the brunch and come with you guys instead it would have made you happy?” David asks you cautiously.
“I just didn’t want to be the nagging girlfriend,” you shrug. “And it all worked out well. You had a great time with the guys and I had fun with Natalie and Reggie. And at the end of the night we even had a fun trip to Vegas. So there really isn’t anything to feel guilty about David, you didn’t do anything wrong.”
He opens his mouth to say something but stops himself when he looks past you. You know what it is before you even turn around. Three teenage girls are making their way towards you both. Before they even reach you, they have their phones out ready to ask for a picture.
“We really don’t want to bother you…”
“You’re not,” David smiles. “You want a picture?”
You quickly move out of their way and offer to take the picture for them. It’s the same routine you go through every time you’re out together.
“Alright everyone ready?” you ask before snapping a few pictures.
“Oh my god this is so cool,” one of the girls gushes. “We were just watching the vlog where you scare Y/n with lizard.”
“Yeah thanks for reminding me about that,” you laugh. “I’m still trying to figure out how to get him back.”
The girls ask a few questions and tell you both about other vlogs they love. Before they leave the quietest of the three girls stops in front of you and smiles.
“Can I just say thank you?” she says quietly.
“For what?” you ask confused.
“For dating David,” she answers before rolling her eyes. “I know that sounds so stupid, but as one of his fans, it was awful to see him last year. He looked so down a lot of the times. But then when you started appearing in the vlogs he looked a lot happier. Now his vlogs are getting better and better and I think that might be down to you.”
You have no idea what to say to her, so you just pull her in for a quick hug before letting the three of them walk away.
“So,” David says as you watch the three girls walk out of sight. “That was…”
“Intense,” you breath out.
“I was going to say sweet, but your word works too,” he smiles. “And she’s right, you know.”
“About what?”
“I also think my vlogs are a lot better since you came into my life,” he answers. “I guess that’s what I was trying to say earlier. Sure I should have probably skipped the brunch and gone with you…”
“But I didn’t want you missing out on a group event,” you interrupt.
“And that’s very sweet of you,” he says as he takes his hand in yours. “I think I had my eyes opened yesterday.”
“In what way?”
“Because I didn’t have my camera at brunch, I had a chance to really look around at everyone. I watched Mariah continuously warn Heath not to drink so much. I could hear Scott and Kristen snapping at each other because she didn’t like what he was doing or saying. She even complained about his outfit. Right there in front of everyone. Then I thought about when Liza and I were dating. She used to pick out all my little faults too. She hated when I didn’t get my hair cut, or if I didn’t want to eat at a certain place. And then I thought of you. You don’t care what my hair looks like. And if I want to eat at the same place every day you’re fine with it. Kristen spent an hour yesterday complaining that Scott hadn’t bought her the right shoes for her birthday, and you’ve never once asked for anything from me. And when I told you I wanted to go to brunch with everyone, you told me that it was okay. Even though you had every right to complain about it. I guess I came away from the brunch feeling a little guilty. Maybe that I’m not treating you like I should be.”
“Or maybe you should realise I’m your girlfriend and not your mother,” you point out. “It’s not my job to tell you what to eat and how to cut your hair. And if you want to hang out with your friends then I need to be okay with it. And I am. David you don’t have to buy me things to make yourself feel like you’re being a good boyfriend. I’d say you’re doing pretty well in that department.”
“So you don’t want a fancy dress or a new leather jacket?” David asks looking around the store.
“Not really,” you shrug. “Anyway I’m more comfortable lounging around the house in a pair of shorts and a clickbait hoodie. I don’t really need Gucci.”
“This is what I’m saying,” David says as he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you towards him. “You’re like the best girlfriend ever. And you know what else?”
“What?” you giggle as you wrap your arms around his neck.
“If you swipe up right now, you get twenty percent off all clickbait merch,” he says as he points his finger up in the air. Causing you to giggle more.

Hello, who do you think would propose between Kotetsu and Barnaby and how would they do it? If you could write a drabble, that would be amazing, thanks~
I think the closest to my actual headcanon for them is mentioned at the beginning of “Platonic” (that is, Barnaby had a big proposal planned out and Kotetsu just spontaneously asked one morning while he was half-asleep; Barnaby got ticked about it and still went through with his own proposal and now they argue about which one counts), although it occurs to me now that the accidental proposal in It Could Be Yours is also high on my list of ways I think it would happen. But what the hell, let’s do another one for these two.
A big thanks to @cobrilee for talking through ideas with me. This…is not exactly what you suggested, but that suggestion did help knock something loose! XD
Also, since this prompt came at the perfect time for fluffbingo, this fic’s going to fill the Love and Romance squares on my bingo card.
“I can’tbelieve Agnes wants me to propose to you on live TV,” Kotetsu muttered.
Barnabyshrugged. “She has a point. People have been following our partnershipsince we met. It’s not surprising she’d want to air it when we take it to the nextlevel.”
Kotetsucontinued to grumble. “It’s a marriage proposal. It’s not supposed to befor ratings.”
Barnabyreached out and took his hand, and Kotetsu threaded their fingers together andsqueezed, although the frown on his face didn’t relax a bit.
It had been adelicate balance since they’d started dating, giving Agnes what she wanted forthe show and the ratings while still maintaining some semblance of privacy.Barnaby didn’t mind elements of their private lives being public—it waspart of the job, after all—but Kotetsu was still stubbornly old-fashioned aboutkeeping his two identities separate, even though most of the city knew who hewas now. It was stressful at times, but overall they’d managed to make it work.
So far, they’donly discussed taking it a step further hypothetically—Barnaby hadn’t even beensure if Kotetsu wanted to get married again—but Agnes had found out somehow, and now she was eager to get them to take that step while the cameras wererolling.
Kotetsu’sinitial response had been a much more colorful version of “absolutely not,”which had slowly migrated around to a “we’ll talk about it,” andBarnaby was pretty sure the only reason he’d relented at all had been becauseBarnaby had been willing to consider the idea. And he was, to an extent.
But Kotetsuhad a point. A proposal was supposed to be about them.
Barnabypressed the up button for the elevator.
Kotetsu raisedhis eyebrows. “You know, the parking garage is down."
"I wantsome air before we head home,” Barnaby said. “Just for a few minutes.”
“We canstop at a park.”
“Theroof is closer.”
Kotetsurolled his eyes and groaned, but followed Barnaby into the elevator. “Doyou just want to be up high, Bunny-chan?”
“Theroof has a nice view,” Barnaby pointed out. “I thought you mightappreciate it. Besides, like you said, we need to talk.”
Kotetsu groanedagain. “We don’t have to talk right now.”
Barnabyshrugged and rubbed his thumb along Kotetsu’s hand. “We might as well. Youdon’t want to propose on television.”
Kotetsusighed and took off his hat, scratching his hair with his knuckles. “Eh.Not really.”
“Howwould you want to do it?” Barnaby asked.
“Somethingprivate. Special. Meaningful, you know?” Kotetsu gestured between the twoof them. “A good proposal is supposed to be romantic. Ratings aren’tromantic. There’s no heart to that.”
Barnaby’slips twitched up—Kotetsu was hopeless—andhe fought to flatten them again. “Some people like public proposals.”
“Then thosepeople can have them,” Kotetsu said. “And maybe I didn’t want to dothe asking this time. It’s stressful!”
“Wait.”Barnaby turned to him. “You want me to ask you?”
Kotetsushoved his hat back on and didn’t meet Barnaby’s eyes. “It might be nice. It’s kind of rude that Agnes assumed I’d be the one asking.”
Barnaby was notgoing to laugh, but he was fighting a smile.
The elevatordinged and the doors opened. Barnaby stepped into the hallway, and for thefirst time since they’d left Agnes’s office, his stomach twisted with nerves.Kotetsu strode beside him, apparently oblivious, idly tracing a circle on Barnaby’shand with his thumb.
“If Iwere going to ask you, I wouldn’t do it in front of the cameras,” Barnabysaid, deliberately casual.
“Youwouldn’t?"
"Youjust spent the past several minutes complaining about doing it publicly, so no,I wouldn’t. I’d do it privately first. That way, whatever we have to do for thecameras is just for the cameras.”
Kotetsusnorted. “A regular proposal and a hero proposal?”
Barnabyshrugged. “Why not? You want romance, Agnes wants ratings. It ispossible to have both.”
“Agneswould be pissed if the proposal that aired wasn’t the real one,” Kotetsusaid.
“As longas nobody else knew, I don’t see why she’d be angry,” Barnaby said. “Shedoesn’t care if it’s real as much as she cares if it brings in viewers.”
“Hm.”Kotetsu scratched his beard. “I guess you’re probably right. I mean, Istill don’t want a public one, but if we had one that was just for us, Iwouldn’t mind so much.”
Barnabyopened the door to the roof and held it for Kotetsu. He could feel his heartpounding in his fingertips. “That’s good to hear.”
Kotetsuwalked outside. “Eh, I guess you can tell Agnes we decided on something.”
He took threesteps onto the roof and stopped dead in his tracks. “Huh? Bunny? Issomeone having a party here?”
If Barnabyhad thought he’d been nervous in the hallway, it was nothing compared to now.He knew, logically, that the roof had been decorated—he could see the lightsout of the corner of his eye—but he was focused wholly on Kotetsu, who wasstill looking around in confusion.
Barnaby gotdown on one knee and pulled out the ring he’d been carrying around all day.
Kotetsu turnedback to him. “Bunny, what—”
His eyessettled on Barnaby and he stopped, a series of increasingly confusedexpressions crossing his face until realization dawned and his mouth droppedopen.
Now, Barnaby wassupposed to launch into the speech he’d been planning for weeks. He wassupposed to talk about how much Kotetsu meant to him, how much he admired him,how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him, how he’d wanted tospend the rest of his life with him for years now.
Absolutelynone of the words came to him. He could look at Kotetsu and feel everything,so overwhelmed with love that it took his breath away, but he couldn’t evenfathom where to start. He’d spent literal hours practicing this and nowall the words he’d had seemed woefully inadequate.
Kotetsu wasstill staring at him and Barnaby still hadn’t managed to say a damn thing.
He took adeep breath. “Kotetsu, I…”
That was asfar as he got before the words deserted him again.
Kotetsugrinned like a fool. “It’s stressful, isn’t it?”
Barnabyglared at him. “Don’t make fun of me, old man.”
“Justtake a deep breath and tell me all the things you like about me, Bunny-chan.Like my winning smile. Or my ass.”
“I’m nottalking about your ass when I’m trying to propose!” Barnaby snapped.
“Why not?”Kotetsu looked wounded. “Don’t you like my ass?”
“Thathas nothing to do with why I want to propose to you.”
“Thenwhy do you want to propose to me?”
“Becauseyou…you do things like this,” Barnaby said, gesturing between them.“You try to make people laugh when they’re worried or stressed. Even whenyou’re struggling with your own things, you want to help other people. You’rekind and selfless, the most caring and dedicated man I know, and I—” Hecleared his throat. “My life is so much richer and better for sharing it withyou.”
Kotetsurubbed the back of his neck and his gaze darted away, a blush high on hischeeks. “Ah, Bunny—”
“I don’tthink you’re supposed to interrupt me right now,” Barnaby said.
Kotetsulaughed thickly, and when he glanced back, Barnaby could see that his eyes wereshining. “Sorry.”
Barnaby tooka deep breath. He was going to make it through this without breakingdown. Then again, from his understanding, breaking down was somewhat expectedat a time like this.
“I wantto be your partner,” he said. “Not just in work, but in life as well.In everything. You…balance me. And I lo—”
Kotetsu grabbedhim by the jacket and yanked him to his feet, and before Barnaby could protest—thiswas leather and he was still supposedto be proposing—Kotetsu crushed their mouths together.
Barnabystumbled backward into the door, looping one arm around Kotetsu’s waist and clenchinghis other hand tightly to keep from losing the ring. He thanked God for the doorat his back; Kotetsu was no help whatsoever and Barnaby wasn’t sure how muchlonger his legs would hold up. All he could do was cling tight to Kotetsu and returnthe kiss for all he was worth.
When Kotetsufinally pulled back just long enough to take an unsteady breath, Barnabycleared his throat and said, “You didn’t let me finish.”
“I did!”Kotetsu protested. “Partners in everything, you balance me, I love you, I heard all that.”
Barnaby restedtheir foreheads together. “I still haven’t actually asked you.”
“Closeenough.”
“I’mgoing to do this properly.” Barnaby pulled back just far enough to meetKotetsu’s eyes. “Will you marry me, Kotetsu?”
Kotetsu staredat him, eyes wide, looking so disbelieving and vulnerable that it made Barnabyirrationally want to pack him away in a box so he couldn’t possibly get hurt.
Kotetsuburied his face in Barnaby’s shoulder. “Bunny.”
Barnaby rubbedhis hand over Kotetsu’s back and pressed his nose into his hair, breathing in. Kotetsuwas so very good at being romantic, and so very unable to handle it whensomeone was romancing him. “Is that a yes?”
Kotetsu’swhole body shuddered. “Of course it’s a yes,” he said, his voice shaking.“You know it’s a yes.”
“I don’tknow it’s a yes. I can’t know until you—”
Kotetsukissed him again, and this time, it lifted a weight from his chest that Barnabyhadn’t realized he’d been carrying around. Carrying for weeks, apparently, eversince he’d decided he was going to ask Kotetsu to marry him. Being mostly sureof the answer didn’t make it any less stressful.
“How inthe hell did you even set all this up?” Kotetsu asked between kisses.
Barnabyfinally took the time to look at the roof decorations: an arbor lit with reamsof white Christmas lights, over a table with two giant bouquets of red roses oneither end. Sitting in the middle was a bucket of ice with a bottle of champagnechilling and two glasses on the table beside it.
Nathan hadreally outdone himself, and Barnaby made a mental note to get him an appropriatethank-you gift later.
“It wasn’tme,” he said. “Nathan and Keith took care of everything.”
Kotetsuraised his eyebrows. “Antonio didn’t help?”
“He didn’tknow.” Barnaby narrowed hiseyes. “He’d have gone out drinking with you and told you everything. Keithand Nathan know how to keep a secret.”
Kotetsu scoffed, and then sighed. “Okay, you’re right.”
Barnaby caughtKotetsu’s hand and led him over to the table to pour the champagne. The rooftoplooked out over the sprawling levels of the city, the lights glittering allaround, so bright that the full moon above seemed to pale in comparison.
Barnaby heldout the ring.“Iwasn’t sure if you’d want one. Another one,” he admitted. “But Nathansaid it wouldn’t be a proposal without a ring.”
Kotetsu tookthe ring and wiped his eyes. “Nathan’s right.”
He slipped it—silver, with alternating red and green stones in a band around the middle—onto his lefthand, right above his wedding ring. Barnaby’s heart flipped to see it there.
“Youneed one, too,” Kotetsu said.
Barnabyhanded him a glass of champagne. “I’ll get one when we get married.”
When, now, not if.
From the wayKotetsu grinned, he’d picked up on that, too. “Hey, I don’t want to be theonly one wearing an engagement ring.”
Barnabyreached out and pulled him close again. “If you want me to wear a ring,I’ll wear a ring.”
“It’d benice.” Kotetsu took a sip of champagne and gave him a sly grin.“Don’t worry. I’ll find you a good one.”
“You’retaking Nathan with you,” Barnaby said immediately.
“Hey, believe it or not, I’m good atpicking out jewelry!” Kotetsu jabbed a finger into his shoulder. “I’llfind you a perfect ring before I have to propose on camera. Just watch me.”
“I…”Barnaby glanced down at his champagne; why was this suddenly so hard to say? “I had thought I’d tell Agnesthat I would do it.”
Kotetsu’seyes widened. “What? Why?”
“Becauseyou’re right, it was presumptuous of her to think you’d be doing the proposing, especially when you’ve never liked doing that kind of thing in public,”Barnaby said. “But I don’t mind it. And I…want people to know how muchyou mean to me. I want them to see that. I wantto tell them that.”
He wanted totell people that all the time. He wanted to bring it up in every interview. Hewanted to tell them all how Kotetsu had taken a hard look at him—back when Barnaby wasangry and vengeful and broken—and had still decided he was worth protecting, thathe could be better than what he’d been raised to be, and had never wavered inthat belief. Because Kotetsu was a foolish, old-fashioned optimist, and Barnabyloved him for it.
Kotetsu staredat him in disbelief, a look that slowly sobered to something else that Barnabyrecognized, but could never quite identify. He leaned in closer and pulled theirforeheads together, and Barnaby closed his eyes.
“Whateveryou want, Bunny-chan.” Kotetsu’s voice was rough. “Butif you want me to propose to you,I’ll do it. Even in front of the cameras. I don’t mind, as long as it makes youhappy. Besides, we’re already engaged.”
The remindergave him a thrill, and Barnaby tightened his arm around Kotetsu’s waist. “Iwant you. This…it’s all that matters. I just want you.”
“Bunny,” Kotetsu whispered, in thatparticular inflection that Barnaby had long ago learned meant I love you.
Barnabykissed him to say it back, kissed him to say all the things he’d tried andfailed to in his proposal. Words weren’t enough—words were never enough—but this way, he hoped he could get Kotetsu tounderstand just a fraction of what he felt.
They wereengaged now. That meant, at some point in the very near future, they would bemarried. Partners not because someone told them to be, or because they workedtogether, but because they’d chosen tobe.
And Barnabywould gladly choose Kotetsu, over and over, for the rest of his life.

“Look, it’s mistletoe.” (( Cause you love me @darsacarrington))
Kat hadn’t been paying attention. Her focus was cast in afterglowof the meal she had just shared with Darsa and her mother. Watching Darsa dobarn chores didn’t help much either. Ever since theday she caught herself watching him chop wood behind the house, she knew shewas weak for the way he put himself to work.
And it was with that thought lingering that she registeredwhat he had said.
“Look, it’s mistletoe,”he commented.
She didn’t have to turn around to know he was smirking. Hewas a giant but sometimes he could be such an imp. That wasn’t what stopped her, though. Her urge to fire back some smartass remark was lost in the shadow ofsomething else. Something which very nearly stained her entire tannedcomplexion crimson.
Why not kiss under the mistletoe?
She reached up to remove her lip ring, but from behind itlooked as if she was worrying her fingertips over her lip and Darsa’s smirkstarted to fade. He had felt the faint tremor of worry when she didn’t fireback some snarky retort, but with each moment in the growing silence, hefound himself developing a genuine concern. Just as he was about to dismiss thejest, though, she tucked the ring into her shirt pocket and turned with a smallsmile.
“I would like to kiss you,” Kat said as she took a step towardshim.
As much as she would have loved to have surprised him with akiss, twelve inches of height difference made it rather difficult to achievewithout a stool. Instead, she declared her intentions and waited patiently forhim to bend down.
Darsa’s heart pitched a bit as she made the declaration, andfor a moment he could only smile at her. She blushed lightly when he broke the briefspell and reached up to brush a strand of her hair over her cheek and tuck itdelicately behind her ear. His fingers grazed gently over the radiating warmthof her cheek and finally he leaned down to acquiesce to her unspoken request. Withouthesitation, Kat stood on her toes and rose to meet him.
By the standards of most, the kiss was still chaste, but evenin the absence of lust driven hunger, the kiss seemed to stop time for Kat. Everythingin the moment was acutely tangible, but nothing seemed to exist outside of Darsa.
It was the first kiss they shared, and just like the day hadbeen, it was perfect.

After reading the Pew Research Center article and the Common Sense Media piece, I have definitely found a lot of very important research that unfortunately proves all of our assumptions of the impact of social media. It is clearly apparent that social media has become woven into the fabric of our lives and there are no signs of slowing down. However, social media isn’t as simple as a communication medium and there isn’t a simple solution to better use it in our everyday lives. Social media is complex, nuanced, and something that not only teens but adults seem to depend on to get them through the day. Social media brings people a source of inspiration and collaboration with people around the world at a moment’s notice. While also pressuring people into unrealistic body expectations and constantly experiencing cyber bullying.

The scary part about the article pertaining to the teen’s media usage, was the fact that they were completely aware of the fact that social media is taking them away from their priorities and important conversations, but they continually have their phones in their hands. In fact, 68% agreed with the statement “Social media has a negative impact on many people my age”, including 20% who say they “strongly” agree with that statement. The most troubling thing I read from the article had to have been the statement, “54% of teens said that parents would be more worried if they actually knew the truth about social media”. The most worrying thing for me again, is the fact that these kids and teens know wholeheartedly that the things they do on social media is wrong and their interactions aren’t age appropriate. Yet, around 81% of teens are engaging with social media several times a day. There must be such a battle going on in their heads, of I am engaging with content that makes me happy sometimes and I enjoy seeing what my friends are up to. While also thinking about the damaging affects it is having on their mental health at the same time. I often struggle with those contradicting voices in my head while scrolling through my feed as well.

When it came to the Pew Research Center article I found that one of the most surprising was the fact that YouTube is used by “94% of 19-24-year-olds”, that statistic seemed surprisingly high to me. I am hardly ever on YouTube, but I can see how it could be very important for people who enjoy streaming music and watching music videos. That is the only real reason I have ever personally used it myself.  However, I know a large amount of people use YouTube to follow their favorite vlogger and there is a huge industry around the world of vlogs. The vlogging industry allows anyone who is capable of taking and sharing a video the ability to create content, while receiving money for revealing their lives to the public. Even so, 51% of 18-24-year-olds say it would be hard to give up social media, according to the article. I completely agree with that statement. Now that social media has become to entrenched in our everyday lives, our routines, and our livelihoods I don’t see a reality where social media a prevalent force in our lives isn’t.

As much as I hate to admit it, I don’t think I will ever be able to give up social media. I certainly believe that there is room for some cut backs. I often try and delete applications whenever I can, especially around finals week during school. However, it is my main way of staying in contact with my family and friends who don’t live near me. My grandfather who lives alone in Sweden is constantly updating his Facebook page with his daily life achievements and I don’t believe I would be as close with him as I am today if it wasn’t for our interactions through Facebook. I am thankful he uses as much Facebook as he does because according to the Pew article only around 50% of people who are 50+ use Facebook, and my grandfather is 82 years old.

Vst Plugins Garageband Ipad
Before we begin, I just have to be completely honest and say I’m not an expert in the use of pitch correction or auto-tune, because I rarely use them, however, I recently had to, so I figured I’d share what I learned.
When you download stock plug-ins in Garageband, it comes with a plethora of useful VST’s, including all of the software instruments. Software Instruments Garageband comes with 15 different categories of software instruments: bass, drum kit, electronic drum kit, guitar, mallet, orchestral, percussion, piano, synthesizer, vintage B3 organ.
Jul 02, 2013 Question: Q: Can i have Autotune On Garageband in iPad? Apple Footer. This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only. Apple may provide or recommend responses as a possible solution based on the information provided; every potential issue may involve several factors not. Hey folks, I'm wondering if there is an autotune plugin I can get for garageband. I know theres a setting were you can enable automatic tuning to a specific key but I'm looking for something a little more powerful like that 'rapist in lincoln park' song that went viral on youtube. May 06, 2018 Download Antares Autotune 8 / VST Plugin. Download Now Windows / MAC 112 MB. Introduction to Antares Auto-Tune. Recording music was quite an overwhelming task during 70’s since to get a smooth vocal intonation; the singer has to sing the song multiple times.
In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how I recently used pitch correction in the manner consistent (at least in sound) with Travis Scott and other hip-hop artists of the day.
May 28, 2015 Even though Apple's GarageBand for Mac has all sorts of built-in instruments (and a smaller complement of audio effects), it has always been expandable by adding Audio Unit (AU) plugins.
Finally, Empty the Trash and relaunch Garageband.Your plug-ins will been scanned when Garageband launches and can now be accessed through Garageband. For information on how to add plug-ins to a track in Garageband, see this article.
Pitch-correction is almost always used in the recording process, and every artist uses it, from metal bands, rock bands, pop singers, and so on and so forth.
Similar to ghost-writers and professional producers/writers working on your favorite artist’s latest record, it’s just a part of the business and it’s a part of how the game is played at a high level.

Without further ado…
How To Use Auto-Tune (Pitch Correction) In Garageband.
First things first.
You need to know the key signature of the music. This should be the first step you make.
If you want to know the key signature of the song, I just find the tonal center of the music, and then I play the notes of that scale.
For instance, when I jammed along to Dave East’s “Type Of Time” recently, I knew it was in the key of C Minor (relative major: Eb Major).
I figured it out, just by searching around on my guitar for the note on which the entire song is built, and then I played the natural minor scale up from the root note, carefully listening for each note to hear any dissonances.
If you don’t know anything about major or minor scales, I suggest checking out MusicTheory.net, as they have great tutorials for beginners to music theory. Also, Mark Sarnecki’s book, which I wrote about here.
You can also use the tool, TuneBat.com.
TuneBat is a pretty good resource for quickly finding the key signature of a song. They have quite a bit in there.
Personally, I like figuring it out for myself that way I don’t have to depend on the software, however, if you’re only a music producer rather than a musician, sight-reading or improvising skills really aren’t that important.
Also, understand that pitch-correction and auto-tune are used only for recordings and obviously not MIDI recordings.
1) Open a new project/already existing project.
2) Hit (Command + Option + A) to bring up an Audio track.
3) You’ll see down in the Smart Controls the way the Audio looks in wave format, in addition to a few different settings including, “Limit to Key,” and “Enable Flex.”
4) From here, what you want to do is hit the “Enable Flex” and “Limit Key” check-boxes to ensure that when you record some vocals or other music, the pitch correction tool will come in keep everything in the key.
5) At this point, I’m sure you’re already familiar with the key signature option at the top center of the DAW, but for the sake of clarification, I’ll speak of it anyway.
Just go up to the top-center where it displays the beats per minute, measure, time signature, and the tempo. You can adjust the key signature from there.
6) Now, if you want to make auto-tune work in the style of, say, for example, T-Pain, you’re going to need to know the key signature of the track in which to sing.
7) Depending on how much auto-tune you want to use, you can adjust the pitch correction on a 1-100 scale within the Smart Controls.
If you put it all the way to 100, that’s obviously the most amount of pitch-correction you can use.
8) The next step is to begin recording your vocals, and then listen to how the pitch correction tool has changed the way your vocals sound.
In the Instagram post below, you can see what it sounds like without pitch correction and with the pitch-correction all the way up to 100.
The first thing that you hear is the out-of-key version of “Stargazing” from Travis Scott.
You’ll notice when I say the word, “Stargazing,” it sounds out of key. But then after I adjust the pitch the correction to 100 it starts to sound good.
In conclusion, the steps I laid out above is how you pitch-correct a vocal track. However, if you want to use auto-tune as a creative tool in the style of Travis Scott, then there are additional details.
It’s worth mentioning that between 65 and 75 is the best range for the pitch correction tool if you’re just trying to correct those imperfections.
How to get garageband songs off ipad. Also, it’s best to give the best singing performance possible, because the pitch correction tool works at its most optimal when the notes are only slightly off.
If you just sing wildly out of tune, the benefit of using the pitch correction software is lost. You can try it for yourself some time to see what I mean.
How To Use Auto-Tune Like Travis Scott
For this, it’s pretty much the same thing as the steps listed above, but we have to add a few more effects, including delay, reverb, and a bit of compression as well, actually, probably a lot.
For the sake of clarity, I’ll run through these steps once again.
1) Bring up your audio track using the (Command + Option + A) function.
2) Click on the Audio Region.
3) Click on Track.
It also has song titles to let user understand which song is playing and which is next for mixing and playing in real time. Free virtual dj software download. A new addition of video skins with much more details for video broadcasting.
4) Check both boxes, “Limit to Key,” as well as “Enable Flex.”
5) Hit Record on your Audio Track, and then record yourself singing whatever it is that you want to sing.
If I were you, I would make sure that you have the “Feedback Protection” box clicked, just in case.
Also, if you’re going to use your computer’s built-in microphone, you’ll have to plug headphones in due to the fact the microphone and built-in speakers are too close to each other.
If you plan on actually making legitimate vocals, obviously, it’d be a much better option to use a good microphone. From what I understand, Shure is kind of like the industry standard.
Moving on…
6) Turn the pitch-correction all the way up to 100 that way it’s working as much as possible.
7) Go into your Plug-ins, and select the options, Compressor, Platinum Verb within the Reverb options, the Stereo Delay, as well as the Channel EQ
Garageband Antares Autotune
8) First, go into your EQ, and EQ the audio track so it looks like the image I’ve laid out below.
You can see that the Lows have been boosted considerably, as well as the highs, and then the mids are cut out almost completely.
9) Then, go into your Compressor and set it at the settings you can see below in the image.
10) For the Platinum Verb, I just keep it at the default setting.
11) Now that you have your final track, you can see that it kind of has that Washed out with Reverb/Robot style which is Travis Scott’s style. I don’t mean that derisively, those are just the mannerisms that come to mind.
12) For the next step, you want to copy and paste your audio track into two new duplicate tracks, however, you’ll pan the one to the left and one to the right using the pan buttons that look like this.
13) After this, make sure you turn off the Delay off the two duplicate tracks because otherwise, there will be too much of it.
Effects like Reverb and Delay kind of add up on top of each other, so make sure to not over-use these features.
How To Use Auto-Tune (Pitch Correction) In iOS
Setting up pitch correction and auto-tune in iOS isn’t much different from how you’d do it on the Mac.
Without further ado.
Autotune In Garageband
1) The first thing you want to do, is hit the option, “+” on the top right-hand side of the screen when you first open up Garageband iOS.
2) Select the option, “Audio Recorder.” 2
3) Now, you’ll come to a little dial in the center of the screen that kind of looks like a children’s toy. Choose the Golden Microphone option titled, “Extreme Tuning.”
Free Garageband Autotune Plug-ins
4) From there, go into the drop-down menu on the top-left hand of the screen and click on the “Extreme Tuning” icon.
5) Then, click on the setting that says, “Vocals.”
6) Choose the option “Lead Vocals” from there.
7) We now have five dials from which to choose, Tone, Pitch Control, Compressor, Drive, and Vocal Hall.
6) Hit the dials (that looks like a Gear) of the top-right hand side of the screen, and then click on “Track Controls,” which whill then bring up all of the plug-ins.
Tumblr media
7) Add a little bit of Reverb and then Delay.
8) You can adjust the compressor up or down, depending on how much you want to equalize the sound.
9) From here, as I mentioned in the tutorial above, you need to figure out the key signature of your song. Considering the fact it’s the song you’ve likely written, you’ll know what the key is.
10) If you need to adjust the Key Signature, click on the icon that looks a gear, then choose “Song Settings.” From there, you can see where it gives Tempo and Key Signature options.
If you’re using someone else’s song, try TuneBat.com.
***Having the proper key signature set up is an important detail because it gives the pitch correction software a standard by which to measure and adjust.
If you have the wrong Key Signature, auto-tune won’t work properly because the tool will adjust the wrong notes to the wrong pitch.
***There’s also an Application that you can download called, “Voloco,” which acts as a harmonizer and pitch correction tool. I don’t think it’s that necessary frankly, but you can try that out.
You can refer to the Instagram post above if you want to hear the final product.
As I’ve mentioned before, probably the most important things to remember when using auto-tune and pitch correction are as follows:
Adjust the amount of correction from 0 to 100
Use Delay and Reverb
Sing on key to really maximize the utility of pitch correction software.
And that’s pretty much it.
Anyway, I hope this helped you out. Make sure to share it on your social media if you enjoyed it.
Until next time.
Before we begin, I just have to be completely honest and say I’m not an expert in the use of pitch correction or auto-tune, because I rarely use them, however, I recently had to, so I figured I’d share what I learned.

I know theres a setting were you can enable automatic tuning to a specific key but I'm looking for something a little more powerful like that 'rapist in lincoln park' song that went viral on youtube.

Vst Plugins Garageband Ipad 4
Adjust the amount of correction from 0 to 100
Use Delay and Reverb
Sing on key to really maximize the utility of pitch correction software.
Vst Plugins Garageband Ipad Mini
And that’s pretty much it.
Anyway, I hope this helped you out. Make sure to share it on your social media if you enjoyed it.
Until next time.

“Aww--- you’re so cute...!”
If there was anything that Pidge had half-expected to find on some random ship that seemed to be floating within space, it wasn’t the round green creature that floated near her face. It was roughly the size of a ball at least, with wide eyes that seemed to fixed onto her. While it’s adorable appearance and friendly look gave her the impression that perhaps it wasn’t something to necessarily be afraid of… well, Pidge had seen quiet enough so far traveling the universe to never judge a book by it’s cover.
Well… luckily, it didn’t seem to be attacking.
“You can’t be the only one who’s on this ship, can you?” She doubts that she’ll receive an answer she’ll understand, but it’s worth speaking to it; as eyes glanced around her on the off chance that something will jump out at her. ( Luckily, the ship didn’t seem to be of Galra tech, so perhaps she could be permitted to let down her guard at least a touch. )
“—Hey! Is there anyone else in here??” Hands are already reaching towards the green creature in intrigue; slowly with hopes that it’d let her pet it.

NBA mock draft 2020: Final projection with two picks for each team
Tumblr media
The Timberwolves and Warriors hold the keys to the draft
The 2020 NBA Draft will be remembered for its lack of consensus at the top of the board. While last year’s draft had an obvious No. 1 overall pick in Zion Williamson, the projected top picks this season have led to more division among evaluators. There are plenty of talented players in this year’s class, but each are flawed in their own ways. That makes team fit and long-term development more critical than ever.
LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, and James Wiseman have emerged as the likely top three picks. The Minnesota Timberwolves, holding the No. 1 selection, still haven’t given any major indications on what they plan on doing with the pick. So much uncertainty heading into Wednesday’s draft only makes it more fun to debate and project.
For our final mock draft, we decided to guess what teams might do with their pick, and then say what we would do with the same selection. Here’s a full breakdown with blurbs on each player below.
1. Minnesota Timberwolves - LaMelo Ball, PG, Illawarra Hawks
Why the Wolves would take him: Ball is far from a perfect prospect, but he still has a strong case as the top overall player in this class. Ball’s potential as an on-ball creator offers a clearer pathway to high-level impact than Anthony Edwards’ scoring ability, James Wiseman’s size, or Deni Avdija’s all-around game. As a 6’7 lead guard, Ball blends tight ball handling ability with tremendous vision and creative passing skills. The Wolves still have plenty of room for improvement in terms of creation even after acquiring D’Angelo Russell last year. If Ball isn’t a perfect complement to Russell and superstar big man Karl-Anthony Towns right now, think of him as a long-term insurance policy in case that pairing can’t live up to the hype.
OUR PICK: LaMelo Ball, G, Illawarra Hawks. We consider Ball to be the top overall talent in the draft, and the present-day fit in Minnesota isn’t enough to move us off that. Even with Russell, the Wolves simply don’t have enough creation ability on the roster to bypass Ball’s special talents. If it doesn’t work out, he should still retain value in a trade. Remember: his brother Lonzo was a big part of the Lakers’ package for Anthony Davis.
2. Golden State Warriors - James Wiseman, C, Memphis
Why the Warriors would take him: Golden State has leaked that it likes pretty much every player projected to go at the top of the draft, but the smoke tying the franchise to Wiseman feels like the strongest. The Warriors must view him as a plug-and-play option at center who gives them a dimension they’ve never really had: a young 7-footer who projects as a lob threat on offense and rim protector on defense around the team’s veteran stars. Wiseman has some very real red flags in terms of his limited versatility on both ends, but at this point it appears certain that teams view him as a lock to go in the top-three.
OUR PICK: Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia. Golden State feels like the best possible place for Edwards to develop. He could contribute wing minutes off the bench in the short-term without the burden of being expected to carry the franchise early in his career. Edwards could focus more on his off-ball scoring ability by attacking closeouts and finding holes as a cutter with defenses focused on Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. If any team can rewire the bad habits that occasionally sabotage Edwards’ all-world physicality simply by making the game easier on him, it’s the Warriors.
3. Charlotte Hornets - Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia
Why the Hornets would take him: Charlotte reportedly covets Wiseman, but if he’s off the board, Edwards’ promise as a takeover scorer might be too much to pass up. Edwards has absolutely elite athletic tools and some truly remarkable shot-making flashes when he’s locked in. The problem is that he often becomes a victim of poor shot selection and doesn’t appear to exhibit a strong feel for the game on either end. Charlotte simply doesn’t have anything close to a perimeter scoring star on its roster, and Edwards offers the potential to be that more than anyone else available.
OUR PICK: Onyeka Okongwu, C, USC. Okongwu is the top big man prospect in this draft class, in our humble estimation. The 6’9 center offers tremendous defensive versatility and efficient-but-low-volume offense that would immediately improve the Hornets. Perhaps more importantly, pairing Okongwu with last year’s first round pick P.J. Washington in the front court would finally give Charlotte an identity as a physical, athletic team that could beat up and burn older, slower bigs around the league.
4. Chicago Bulls - Deni Avdija, F, Maccabi Tel Aviv
Why the Bulls would take him: Chicago’s wish came true when the team finally replaced their overmatched front office with Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley earlier this year. The Bulls’ new leaders have been extremely tight-lipped on everything so far, but speculation since lottery night has tied the team to Avdija. The 6’9 Israeli forward doesn’t have a signature skill, but he’s solid across the board and plays an aggressive but high-IQ game. Maybe he doesn’t have the long-term upside teams ideally want in a top-five pick, but at least he doesn’t have some of the glaring weaknesses other players in this class possess.
OUR PICK: Killian Hayes, G, Ulm. The Bulls have badly needed a lead offensive creator since the disappointing Jimmy Butler trade on draft night three years ago. While Chicago has a decent collection of young talent, none of it really fits into place without an offensive engine. Hayes has the most creation potential in this class outside of Ball, and he also projects as a really good defensive guard. Concerns about his first step explosiveness and three-point shooting are a bit overblown. He is both the best player and best fit for the Bulls at No. 4 if the board breaks as expected.
5. Cleveland Cavaliers - Obi Toppin, C/F, Dayton
Why the Cavs would take him: Cleveland has drafted high-upside offensive players with serious defensive question marks since LeBron James left for Los Angeles. Toppin would certainly fit that bill. The 6’9 forward was the best offensive player in college basketball last year, running to the rim for huge dunks and stretching out the range on his jump shot (he hit 39 percent of his threes) during a breakout redshirt sophomore season. He also played his college ball at nearby Dayton, which would perhaps give Cavs fans something to cheer for after a couple long seasons. For as special as Toppin’s offense could potentially be, his defense wouldn’t help what’s already one of the league’s worst units.
OUR PICK: Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn. The Cavs have finished dead last in the league in defensive efficiency each of the last two seasons. Okoro is the best defensive prospect in this class. The young forward from Auburn can shutdown a variety of player types at the point of attack, and always seems to be on-time when he needs to rotate. He really struggles to shoot offensively, but can still provide value by getting to the foul line and making smart passes in advantage situations. If Cleveland could teach him how to hit spot-up threes (a big ask), he would look like one of the better players in this draft class five years from now.
6. Atlanta Hawks - Tyrese Haliburton, G, Iowa State
Why the Hawks would take him: Haliburton has some bankable skills that make him appealing in a draft without much consensus at the top. The 6’5 guard projects as a nice complementary piece because he’s an excellent spot-up shooter and makes quick and accurate passes while spotting up on the perimeter. The bigger issue is he can’t really breakdown the defense off the dribble, so he needs to play with a more dynamic ball handler. While Haliburton put up an absurd 3.8 percent steal rate as a sophomore at ISU — a stat that often translates to pro success — his painfully skinny frame makes any defensive projection difficult at this stage.
OUR PICK: Devin Vassell, F, Florida State. Vassell fits the mold of the 3-and-D wing as an elite help defender who provides spot-up shooting on offense. While his limited creation ability is underwhelming for a top-six pick on the perimeter, he’s simply the type of player every good team needs. Whether Atlanta keeps this pick or trades it, Vassell deserves to go in this range.
7. Detroit Pistons - Patrick Williams, F, Florida State
Why the Pistons would take him: Williams has reportedly been shooting up draft boards over the last month or two, with the Pistons’ apparent interest fueling his rise. The 6’8 combo forward didn’t start a game for FSU this year, but he’s a big, long, and athletic prospect with promising flashes of all-around skill. Williams is also the youngest American-born player in this class, so he has plenty of time to tap into the two-way versatility he hinted at during his one-and-done year in college.
OUR PICK: Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky. Maxey probably isn’t the answer to the Pistons’ forever search for a lead offensive creator, but he’s the type of player who will make that person’s life easier whenever they get him. Maxey is an aggressive rim attacker on offense who can make tough finishes through or around contact in the paint. His three-point numbers were underwhelming, but the fact that he’s a great free throw shooter should mean he has room to grow there. He also plays bigger than his size with a 6’6 wingspan and aggressive point of attack defense.
8. New York Knicks - Killian Hayes, G, Ulm
Why the Knicks would take him: Hayes would be a steal at No. 8 based on raw talent and would also fill New York’s biggest need. A 6’5 lefty point guard out of France, Hayes showed skill and poise in running the pick-and-roll this season for Ulm. He has nice developing pull-up shooting ability and also a reliable floater he can go to when the defense is overplaying potential passing lanes. He’s also arguably the most advanced defensive guard in the class. Hayes’ detractors will point to his lack of explosive athleticism, struggles as a spot-up shooter, and extremely shaky right hand, but he’s already an effective two-way player despite so much room for continued growth.
OUR PICK: Kira Lewis, G, Kentucky: If Hayes is off the board, Lewis would be a wonderful consolation prize for New York. The 6’2 guard out of Alabama is the fastest player in the class with the ball in his hands, offering an ability to break down opposing defenses that the Knicks currently do not have on the roster. Lewis isn’t the most polished finisher or passer just yet, but his combination of rim attacking drives and pretty good spot-up shooting makes him a nice addition for New York’s rebuild.
9. Washington Wizards - Onyeka Okongwu, C, USC
Why the Wizards would take him: Washington badly needs front court defense, and Okongwu is an excellent defensive center prospect. At 6’9, 245 pounds, Okongwu has the strength to battle bigger centers on the ground, and the quickness to defend ball handlers out on the perimeter. He’s also a pogo-stick leaper who is quick off the floor as a rebounder and shot blocker. Okongwu may never score with volume offensively, but he’s efficient in every chance he gets, whether they come on putbacks, cuts, post-ups, or rolls to the rim. Washington should feel great about this pick if he’s still on the board at No. 9.
OUR PICK: Aleksej Pokuševski, F, Serbia. With Okongwu off the board, the Wiz decide to say YOLO and take a chance on the player who might have the highest long-term upside of any in the class. ‘Poku’ is a 7-footer who flashes shooting, passing, and ball handling skills while being the youngest player in the draft at 18 years old. His rail-thin frame is a legitimate concern, as is his overall lack of tape playing the second division of the Greek league, but Washington is in a position to swing for the fences on the future with this pick because their present isn’t that inspiring.
10. Phoenix Suns - Devin Vassell, F, Florida State
Why the Suns would take him: Vassell would be a great value for a Suns team that just acquired Chris Paul. The Florida State sophomore is the most polished 3-and-D prospect in this class, showing advanced help defense instincts and shooting ability on spot-ups and when running off screens. Vassell would be wise to work on raising his three-point volume in the league so he can achieve as much offensive impact as possible. On a team that already has one awesome, young 3-and-D wing in Mikal Bridges, adding Vassell would only give Phoenix more versatility.
OUR PICK: Deni Avdija, F, Maccabi Tel Aviv. An alternate reality where Avdija slips to Phoenix would be one of my favorite fits in the draft. The Suns need more playmaking in the front court and they need an aggressive complement to Deandre Ayton at the four, and Deni would check both boxes.
11. San Antonio Spurs - Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn
Why the Spurs would take him: San Antonio has done well before drafting young, athletic wings who are already stars on the defensive end but struggle to shoot. In all seriousness, any Kawhi Leonard comps for Okoro would be irresponsibly optimistic, but this is certainly an archetype of player the Spurs have helped develop in the past. Okoro badly needs to work on his spot-up shooting ability, but even the present state of his offense isn’t exactly a lost cause. He’s a monster at getting to the foul line and can make easy passing reads in the halfcourt. Did we mention he’s probably the best defensive prospect in this draft? The Spurs would love to see him on the board at No. 11.
OUR PICK: Patrick Williams, F, Florida. With Okoro off the board, Williams offers a nice combination of raw tools that can be molded into a versatile player at both ends of the floor. Williams is big, strong, and long, offering some real defensive playmaking ability and secondary rim protection with the promise of spot-up shooting. As the youngest college player in the draft, Williams’ skill set remains a work in progress, but he’s an enticing developmental prospect for a team with the patience and dedication to turn him into the best player he can be.
12. Sacramento Kings - Aaron Nesmith, SG, Vanderbilt
Why the Kings would take him: The Kings are perpetually looking for help on the wing and looking for shooting, and Nesmith checks both boxes. The sophomore hit 52.2 percent of his threes on 8.2 attempts per game as a sophomore at Vanderbilt, an astonishing rise after he hit under 34 percent from deep as a freshman. Nesmith doesn’t offer much as a passer or creator (he averaged less than one assist per game), but there’s hope he can contribute defensively with plus length (6’10 wingspan) for a shooting guard. NBA teams would have loved to see him prove his hot shooting over the course of a full season, but unfortunately he suffered a stress fracture in his foot that ended his year after just 14 games.
Our pick: James Wiseman, C, Memphis. I’m lower on Wiseman than the consensus because a) he isn’t super quick off the floor athletically, b) he isn’t a plus shooter or passer offensively, and c) he’ll likely only thrive in drop coverage against the pick-and-roll defensively. Even if his general lack of versatility limits his ceiling somewhat in the modern game, he still deserves to be a lottery pick because of his potential as a lob catcher and rim protector. Wiseman is a lock to go top-three. The Kings would be overjoyed in whatever alternate reality this could play out in.
13. New Orleans Pelicans - Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky
Why the Pelicans would take him: Maxey said the Pelicans were the only team he worked out for, and it sure seems like he’d be a nice complement to their young core. While the 6’3 guard isn’t a natural floor general, he is an aggressive scorer who’s great at getting to the rim and finishing from a variety of angles. Shooting will be his swing skill, but a free throw percentage in the 80s should inspire optimism. Defensively, Maxey plays bigger than his size because he’s long (6’6 wingspan) and physical. This would be an excellent fit for both the player and the team.
Our pick: Obi Toppin, F/C, Dayton. Toppin slides down my own personal board a bit because of his major defensive shortcomings, but there’s no denying how dynamic he is offensively. I admit this fit might not make much sense with Zion Williamson and Jaxson Hayes already in the front court, but Toppin feels like the clear best talent on the board and that is really all you need to take him.
14. Boston Celtics - Kira Lewis, PG, Alabama
Why the Celtics would take him: Lewis could go as high as No. 7 or No. 8, but it would be a blessing for both him and the Celtics if he fell to No. 14. Boston needs another ball handler who can put pressure on the rim, and that’s Lewis’ game. While he was just about the youngest sophomore in the country this year at Alabama — he entered the program as a 17-year-old freshman — his ability to get into the paint and hit spot-up threes could make him an immediate contributor for a team that could use an upgrade at backup point guard. Think of this as long-term insurance for Kemba Walker’s age and injury issues while also benefiting one of the very best teams in the East in the short-term.
OUR PICK: Tyrese Haliburton, G, Iowa State. Haliburton should be long gone by this point, but the late lottery feels like a more appropriate spot for his skill set. While Haliburton is basically the opposite of Lewis in a lot of ways — he’s allergic to getting to the rim — his ability to hit spot-up threes and make quick decisions as a passer helps him project as a solid role player long-term. He’d be excellent in Boston.
15. Orlando Magic - R.J. Hampton, G, New Zealand Breakers
Why the Magic would take him: Is Hampton’s wingspan (reportedly 6’7) long enough to earn consideration in the first round from the Magic? We kid, but targeting length is what Orlando has been known for under John Hammond. After focusing on adding big forwards and centers to the front court mix in recent years, it’s about time Orlando drafts a guard. Hampton has a strong argument as the best one available at this point. While he’s not yet a natural floor general, the 6’5 Dallas native can aggressively attack the rim and run offense as a secondary creator. He gives Orlando some long-term upside while also filling a need on the bench right now.
OUR PICK: Desmond Bane, G, TCU. Bane has emerged as everyone’s favorite sleeper — I credit the fantastic work of draft scout Spencer Pearlman — after a stellar four-year career and excellent senior season at TCU. Bane has a case as the best shooter in the draft, hitting 44 percent of his three-pointers and finishing in the 90th percentile on spot-up attempts nationwide. Bane also has some secondary creator potential and holds his own defensively. He may not have the flashy upside of a one-and-done prospect like Hampton, but he’s a more complete player right now.
16. Houston Rockets - Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova
Why the Rockets would take him: After dealing Robert Covington to Portland to acquire this pick, it’s clear Houston is in rebuild mode. Bey offers value as a polished offensive wing who should be able to contribute in the short-term. The 6’8 sophomore is coming off breakout year at Villanova where he made 45 percent of his threes and scored efficiently as a pick-and-roll ball handler (88th percentile) and in transition (93rd percentile). There are questions about what position Bey will defend and how much two-way versatility his game really has, but this would likely be an easy pick for the Blazers if he’s still on the board.
OUR PICK: Josh Green, G, Arizona. Another wing, Green is a far superior athlete (one of the draft’s best) and projects as a more impactful defender. He was also pretty good as a spot-up shooter at Arizona, hitting 36 percent of his threes and finishing in the 77th percentile on spot-ups.
17. Minnesota Timberwolves - Aleksej Pokuševski, F/C, Serbia
Why the Wolves would take him: Pokuševski is the year’s biggest boom-or-bust lottery ticket. Despite a rail-thin frame and limited film, Poku offers the promise of a 7-foot four man who can dribble, pass, and shoot. The Wolves are in position to take a swing for the fences if he’s still on the board at No. 17.
OUR PICK: Xavier Tillman, C, Michigan State. With Poku off the board, Tillman would provide an excellent interior defender for a team that doesn’t really have one right now. Tillman isn’t going to sky above the rim for blocks and rebounds, but he’s a strong and physical paint presence with sharp instincts who could handle a sizable role as a rookie.
18. Dallas Mavericks - Josh Green, G, Arizona
Why the Mavericks would take him: Dallas needs defense, it needs a wing, and it will always take a little spot-up shooting around Luka Doncic. Green fits the bill on all three, projecting as one of the draft’s very best pure athletes while also flashing his chops as a catch-and-shoot threat during his one season at Arizona.
OUR PICK: Tyrell Terry, G, Stanford. Terry is a 6’2 guard who’s more comfortable running around screens to get open from three than he is driving the ball to the rim on offense. That seems like a nice fit next to Doncic.
19. Brooklyn Nets - Precious Achiuwa, F, Memphis
Why the Nets would take him: Achiuwa would add length and athleticism to the Brooklyn front court while developing slowly behind the team’s headline stars. In the short-term, Achiuwa could be an energy big who makes a living in transition in short spurts. Down the road, perhaps he could become a small ball five who runs more traditional centers off the floor.
OUR PICK: R.J. Hampton, G, New Zealand Breakers: Hampton is an aggressive 6’5 combo guard who thrives going to the basket, but needs to fine-tune his shooting and decision-making. The Nets are in a good position to take a developmental guard who can learn from Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Steve Nash without the expectation of contributing big minutes this season.
20. Miami Heat - Cole Anthony, G, North Carolina
Why the Heat would take him: Anthony was considered by some as a potential top-five pick coming into the season before a rough freshman year at UNC that included a torn meniscus. While there have been whispers that NBA evaluators were always a tad skeptical of his fit in the league, his pull-up shooting and secondary pick-and-roll chops are appealing enough to bet on at this point in the first round.
OUR PICK: Cole Anthony, G, North Carolina. A little tough love from Miami goes a long way. The Heat could use another secondary creator with Goran Dragic getting older, and Anthony would have time to grow into the role. At this point, Miami is one of the best possible landing spots for pretty much any prospect in this draft.
21. Philadelphia 76ers - Desmond Bane, G, TCU
Why the 76ers would take him: The Sixers always need shooting and Bane is possibly the best shooter in this class. His ability to attack closeouts and make easy reads as a passer should also pair well with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Philly found an impact rookie in another four-year college player Matissee Thybulle late in the first round last year, and Bane could pay similar dividends this season.
OUR PICK: Aaron Nesmith, G, Vanderbilt. Nesmith is possibly even more dynamic as a long-range shooter than Bane, but his game is also isn’t quite as multi-faceted. He would be a great fit in Philly but should be off the board long before this selection.
22. Denver Nuggets - Jalen Smith, F/C, Maryland
Why the Nuggets would take him: Smith is a 6’10 big man who hit can hit threes and provide some rim protection. He’ll have to prove he can survive when teams target him in the pick-and-roll defensively, but his offensive skill set should play anywhere. Denver feels like a good fit for any potential floor spacer like Smith.
OUR PICK: Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova. Bey can really shoot at 6’8, but questions about what position he guards on defensively pushes him down my board a little bit. He would be a really great fit with Nikola Jokic as a spot-up shooter, but he’ll likely be long gone by this point.
23. Utah Jazz - Theo Maledon, G, ASVEL Lyon
Why the Jazz would take him: Maledon is a 6’5 guard who won’t dust defenders off the dribble, but still brings value with his pick-and-roll playmaking and spot-up shooting. He already proved he could hold his own as an 18-year-old in Euroleague, which seems like a good sign for his future. The Jazz could use a young guard to groom alongside Donovan Mitchell as Mike Conley gets older.
OUR PICK: Theo Maledon, G, ASVEL Lyon. Maledon might not have super-high upside like some thought at this time last year, but he does feel like a relatively high floor young guard with bankable NBA skills. It feels like he could develop into a nice player down the road with a good developmental staff in Utah.
24. New Orleans Pelicans - Tyrell Terry, G, Stanford
Why the Pelicans would take him: Terry established himself as one of the best shooters in this class during a breakout freshman season at Stanford to become a surprise one-and-done. Terry can shoot it off the dribble or from spot-ups with a quick release and deep range. While he’s undersized for a point guard and might need a few years to develop, his offensive skill set is interesting enough to bet on at this point in the first round.
OUR PICK: Grant Riller, G, Charleston. Don’t write off Riller just because he played at a small school and will turn 24 years old as a rookie. The 6’3 guard is an explosive three-level scorer with a quick first step and incredible finishing ability. He’d give the Pelicans a shot of perimeter scoring ability that would feel like a welcome addition.
25. Oklahoma City Thunder - Zeke Nnaji, C/F, Arizona
Why the Thunder would take him: The Thunder are in tear down mode and can afford to take a developmental prospect they think might have some long-term upside. Nnaji fits the bill. The 6’11 big man is a bouncy athlete and strong finisher who also has some spot-up shooting potential. The question will be if he can defend enough to stick at the five, but he is agile enough in space to compete once he bulks up.
OUR PICK: Zeke Nnaji, C/F, Arizona. I like Zeke’s upside more than some of the other bigs available in this range with bigger names or better college resumes. In the short-term, he fits the ‘energy big’ mold well.
26. Boston Celtics - Leandro Bolmaro, G, Barcelona
Why the Celtics would take him: The Celtics enter this draft with three picks, and if they keep all of them, it makes sense to use one on a draft-and-stash. Bolmaro is a perfect candidate. The 6’7 guard from Argentina flashed his playmaking potential and defensive instincts in a limited role with Barcelona this year. He’s in a good situation to develop over the next year while the Celtics monitor his progress from afar.
OUR PICK: Leandro Bolmaro, G, Barcelona. A draft-and-stash is a natural fit for the Celtics’ situation, and Bolmaro offers a decent upside play at this point in the first round.
27. New York Knicks - Robert Woodard, F, Mississippi State
Why the Knicks would take him: Woodard measured at 6’7, 230 pounds with a 7’2 wingspan, which counts as ideal size for an NBA combo forward. He generally plays a low-usage offensive game, but he proved to be a capable spot-up shooter during his two years at Mississippi State. This is a good spot to bet on a potential 3-and-D forward for New York.
OUR PICK: Robert Woodard, F, Mississippi State. Remember, the Knicks got this pick by using their cap space to sign a free agent (Marcus Morris) who they flipped at the deadline to the Clippers for this selection. The Knicks actually did something smart!
28. Oklahoma City Thunder - Tyler Bey, F, Colorado
Why the Thunder would take him: Bey is one of the most impressive defensive prospects in this class. The 6’9 forward is an instinctual help defender who is constantly disrupting actions with his length and athleticism. While his thin frame might limit his versatility a tad, his spot-up shooting potential on offense helps give him a clear pathway to value.
OUR PICK: Isaiah Joe, G, Arkansas: Joe has a thin frame and will need to prove he can handle the physicality of the NBA, but there might not be a more prolific shooter in this class. As a sophomore at Arkansas, Joe shot a three-pointer on 76 percent of his attempts, knocking down 34.2 percent from behind the line. His ability to get off a good look from three in any situation plus his natural touch makes him a good upside gamble at this point in the first round.
29. Toronto Raptors - Malachi Flynn, G, San Diego State
Why the Raptors would take him: Toronto could use some insurance in the backcourt with Fred VanVleet approaching free agency, and Flynn would be a nice value at this pick. While he isn’t the biggest or fastest point guard, Flynn was super productive in his first season at San Diego State and doesn’t have any major holes in his skill set.
OUR PICK: Malachi Flynn, G, San Diego State. The Raptors know a thing or two about how to develop veteran college players into two-way performers in the league. Flynn would be a nice long-term replacement for VanVleet or Kyle Lowry down the road.
30. Boston Celtics - Xavier Tillman, C, Michigan State
Why the Celtics would take him: Boston needs a center and Tillman is an awesome value at this point. Tillman was one of the nation’s most impactful players over the last 1.5 seasons as a 6’8 big man who dominated the paint defensively and scored efficiently on his offensive attempts. While he’s not an above-the-rim threat on either end, Tillman is an intimidating force on the floor who should be ready for a role as a rookie.
OUR PICK: Killian Tillie, F, Gonzaga. Tillie has had terrible luck with injuries throughout his college career, but when he was on the floor he was one of the most skilled forwards in the country. The 6’8 Frenchman has deep range on his jump shot and can also finish efficiently in the paint. Boston could use another forward with plus shooting and a strong feel for the game to add to their bench.

Let’s get... Political
When a huge demographic of voters is using social media and ignoring the old methods of marketing for political campaigns, then of course those petitioning their agendas and political interests are going to close in on the social media market and use it to target their audiences.
The first overwhelming success in using social media as political targeting was Obama during his 08 Campaign. It was so successful he landed in the Whitehouse for 2 terms. What a bawwwse.
Tumblr media
Since then political parties and candidates have been full steam ahead trying to touch base with their ‘younger’ demographics via social media platforms like Facebook and the modern day soapbox that is Twitter.
Tumblr media
Social media makes politics easier to engage in and politicians easier to engage with. Social media is far more accessible with ‘free’ sources readily offering up the ‘facts’.
In a recent class discussion my tutorial group was asked ‘how many of you get your news sources from Facebook?’ unsurprisingly a vast majority of the groups hands launched into the air at this question. A second question ‘How many of you then follow up on the information you receive from this source?’ sadly very few hands remained.
That doesn’t stop this class of digital citizens from relaying the political information and news declared on their ‘news’ feeds without cross checking. They can become political influencers in their own rights in a matter of seconds by promoting standpoints across social media accounts and then enhancing it up with image and video created by others makers with their own agendas.
Case and point I follow a group on Facebook called ‘World Jewish Congress’ and while the majority of their content is based on history and non confrontational pieces every so often they throw out something of a political nature. I wondered how many people had shared this video below? How many commented and if so what was the nature of that comment? For or against?

There are currently 474 shares, 75 comments and over 56,000 views. The sad truth witnessed by my fellow peers in a University classroom is that very few of the people viewing and sharing this video would have followed up on the information being presented and the political agendas being presented. They may not have all the facts or have cross referenced the political natures of both Israel and Palestine’s leading government bodies.
Social media platforms are effective in any political argument, they present an area for mass audience retention and engagement. So quickly and easily do people jump onto their soapboxes after a powerful message is portrayed, they don’t stop to question it. It has only been recently that people have become wary of the media and social media in general.
Thanks Zuckerburg!
Cheers to these legends for their thoughts and ideas

"I'm in pumpkin spice hell." For fran and hibari please!
"I'm in pumpkin spice hell."
It disgusted Hibari how people came in droves for the seasonal special, packed in coffee shop lines and their infernal chatter polluting the air ofwhat should be quiet, relaxing spaces. He avoided the pathetic, trend-followingsheep like the plague—and as far as he was concerned, they were the plague.
But the scent seemed to permeate the cool fall air as people cartedaround pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice muffins and worst of all, pumpkinspice teas. The very idea of fouling perfectly good tea with such a lacklusterand needless ingredient infuriated Hibari. He took great satisfaction inknocking the orange-decorated cardboard cups out of people's hands during hiswalks. They deserved to be punished for their poor taste in beverages, and whatbetter way to punish them than by wasting the overpriced liquid?
He ignored the startled cry of a woman as he used his tonfa to easilyflick the cup of pumpkin spice tea out of her grasp, sending it spillingagainst the stone path that snaked through the park. His eyes spotted afamiliar figure sitting on a bench at the end of the path and he headeddirectly for him.
"That better not be what I think it is."
Fran lowered his cardboard cup, the steam rising from the top, andglanced at Hibari. "You got something against tea?"
"I have something against herbivores who support the spoiling ofthe flavour with cheap seasonal spice for the sake of making money."
"Oh." Fran set his pumpkin spice tea aside, tucking his barefingers in the sleeves of his heavy blue hoodie. "Yeah, it sucks."
Fran's dismissal of the drink eased Hibari's ire somewhat. "I'maware you're Mukuro's student, but I thought you were wise enough to notpartake in trends."
"I usually don't. But I never really got the chance to try junklike this, so I figured I'd see what the big deal was. Don't get what they freakout over. Pumpkin spice sucks. Apples are superior."
Hibari knew that Fran’s past was severely unhappy, and that he had spentmost of it isolated and alone. Hibari despised pumpkin spice, and he despisedthe people who flocked to it even more. But he supposed he could forgive thenine-year-old. At least he had taste enough to dislike it.
"Next time you should have sense enough not to waste yourmoney."
Fran waved his hand with a snort. "It wasn't my money. I took tendollars from Ken's wallet. He paid for it."
Yes, Hibari could definitely forgive Fran for his pumpkin spiceinfraction.

Dina Broadhurst, Artist
With her glamorous, glossy prints hanging in the homes and hotspots of Sydney’s fashion pack, it’s fair to say that Dina Broadhurst is having a moment. Her oeuvre? Seductive photomontages of gorgeous, lithe women adorned with flowers and glitter that are underpinned with messages on sexuality, glamour and consumerism. And, while her Instagram may suggest otherwise, (Dina often photographs herself nude, with just diamantes obscuring her nipples), the artist says she actually prefers the other side of the camera. After touring the pristine Point Piper apartment that she shares with partner Jak and son Leo, we discussed everything from the breakthrough pigmentation cure she discovered to her nightly chocolate gingerbread ritual.
"After working in various fields I realized that my true passion was art.
It always something I did, like a meditation and natural release of what was in my mind and head, but being an artist as a career didn’t come to mind until way down the track. It's always been something I did in my own time and, after studying and working in advertising, photography, interior design and makeup artistry I realised art was my calling. I love the variety of being an artist, the way it feeds through my whole existence so it never feels like “work". It feels like Im just doing what I’m meant to do everyday
Magazines were a huge influence on me.
Especially the Versace era... Growing up I learnt all about beauty from the Supermodels. Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour, and Kate Moss were my vibe so it was all very natural and fuss free. My mum was also such an influence on me. She has never worn makeup, never smoked, and never goes in the sun. She never even had a facial. So I guess I’m fuss-free because of her. She was definitely right about sun damage. I wish I had listened to her on that front.
I believe in balance and listening to your body.
If I feel like chocolate every night, I don’t panic and deny myself. I indulge knowing that soon enough I’ll change and get sick of it, and sure enough my body gets its fix and craves something new. Currently I pretty much indulge in a chocolate ginger bread man every night before bed! I'm a creature of habit. Even exercise for me is not about working up a sweat, its about toning and getting the blood flowing in gentle ways, its also about fresh air and me time.
My best tip is to get enough sleep.
I try to go to sleep before 10pm and then I wake up looking fresh before anything else. I have also started to use Cetaphil Gentle Face Wash on my skin and I find it so easy, gentle and super light, and when I need a bit of a freshen up or to get makeup off I’m obsessed with Karpati Enzyme Face Wash Powder to get the dead skin off and give a deep clean. It’s then a layer of the moisturiser by the Clinic AU and sunblock from Mecca 50+.
I always go out for breakfast...
it makes me get dressed because I work from home and otherwise I just sit in PJs all day. I love to go to Room 10 and Fratelli Paradiso in Potts Point, they are some of my absolute favourite places. I eat poached eggs and toast every morning or sometimes I’ll have avocado, tomato, and toast. I also have a Mocha every morning, I don’t like sugar in my coffee so the chocolate is almost like instead of adding sugar... I don’t add milk either. In terms of the foods I eat, carbs are a must. I love carbs. If I have a meal without carbs I feel like I need to eat within half an hour. My stomach gets rumbly and I have to have another meal. For dinner my boyfriend usually does all the cooking and I clean up afterwards. Dinner could be pizza, burgers, BBQ, steaks, pasta, anything really.
I don’t get facials…I had Melasma, a problem with pigment on my skin.
I tried everything for the pigment problems, like IPL skin rejuvenation and laser and then I went to Melanie Grant. She did this treatment which is a cream from The States called Cosmelan. She applied it to my face and I had to go home and leave it on for 8 hours, its basically a big brown thick mask. My skin peeled ridiculously for 2 weeks after. It made all the pigment come off and then I used this Cosmelan brown cream every night for a year to retain my skin. It looks like I've got tan all over my face and it gets on the pillow but it's worth it. I still use it now because it makes my skin and pores so amazing that I ran back to Melanie Grant and asked if I can keep using it forever.
 .
A little Botox around my eyes and forehead makes me feel so much fresher...
I also go to Eva Karpati, who does great facials and sells the Enzyme Scrub. I go to Melanie Grant for everything else.... I also love Endota spa for massages and Alkaline Clinic for Omnilux - my skin looks so plump after that - you are glowing.
Im 42 and my boyfriend Jak is 25. Dating a younger man is the secret to staying young!
When I think about aging, I don’t believe that age matters in terms of relationships, both romantic or friendships. However, I do believe that inside, as a person you get better and more powerful year by year as you learn, experience, and develop. My personal attitude towards ageing in terms of physical activity and health is that it would be quite tough for me to not be as agile or energetic or for my eyesight to be diminish - as a photographer and artist it would be quite stressful. I believe that if you keep active and keep involved with your work and passion, you can hold onto energy and youthfulness. On an aesthetic level beauty is certainly different at all ages, I don’t necessarily favour just one type. I think beauty can come in any age and in the most unexpected forms. Beauty is imperfection.
I love natural beauty.
My favourite feature is my waist because I think its such a feminine part of the body. I love seeing skin. I love confidence, laughter, smiles and great lips and teeth. That's beautiful to me. I love people embracing and working with their beauty and uniqueness, whether it be pale skin, freckles, strong brows, or anything else of that nature. Even when it comes to myself, I feel the most beautiful when I’m embracing my natural beauty. Especially when I’m in the sun and the ocean and when I’m very casual, not having any clothes on and jumping into my boyfriend’s tee. I guess because there is no though in it and no pressure, that’s when I feel the most natural and unfussy.
I love second hand shopping...
... and believe in recycling when you buy high quality items. I love my Hermes Horn earrings that I got at Blue Spinach Second Hand Store and my Celine bracelet, I love to dress casually but when I'm dressed up I tend to wear less jewellery.
Supplies of colour sparkle or party stuff always come in handy on artworks and photo shoots...
Like spray paint, bubbles and glitter, as well as a staple of collectable photography, fashion and art books are always everywhere through the home. To relax I love yoga, walking, swimming in the ocean, reading, painting and collaging. I used to do yoga a lot but I don’t have time anymore. I would love to, I miss that. I find it makes my body shape really lean and just gives it a different shape. Walking for about an hour a day is all I can really mange. I love to walk at Rushcutters Bay, I do the same path that I’ve always done when I used to live there.
I am a minimalist.
My beauty look is very minimal. Lots of mascara and curled lashes always. Perfect dewy skin and bronzer with a lip balm is my go-to look. If I’m just doing an everyday look or even getting ready for a night out, I love filling in and styling my brows with Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro and using Lancôme Hypnose Mascara on my lashes. I tend to stick to old favourites and the same routine, I believe in keeping it simple and practical for my lifestyle. For hair, I use EVO hair product masks. I also get keratin smoothing done at Gallo Hair. I love sea salt spray and Oribe products. And have just gone lighter and shorter for the summer months!
  My style is quite simple...
...pared back, unfussy, monotone, casual, comfortable and relaxed. I love Celine, Prada, Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Acne, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu. My most favourite recent purchases include a pair of Perspex Calvin Klein heels, and pair of linen OFF-WHITE pumps with “For Walking” typed on the front as well as an electric blue pair of Celine sunnies.
I love wearing mens perfume…
… especially all the Tom Fords, love those. I’ve always liked mens fragrances, but I can’t stand women’s.  Women’s fragrances give me a headache, especially any floral, which is funny because I love flowers. If my friends go out and wear fragrances I’m like, ‘please can you not wear it when we go out’, it just drives me bananas! Even the deodorant I wear has to be unscented. It's so bizarre, I can’t smell a mens fragrance on me so I can wear my partner’s, but when he wears a fragrance, I can’t stand it. I had to tell him not to wear it, it makes me feel like ‘I can’t be attracted to you tonight’. I feel like he's not my man, I just want him to smell him."

“Eh ! eh ! eh ! eh !” Shannon yelled loudly, a hand on hischest shoving him between the curtains and into the empty exam area. “Shhhh!” Oh,that was not something that Shannon wanted getting around the Hospital, ofcourse it would eventually, because everything did in this place. If it was asecret, naturally, the whole place was going to know within half an hour.
“Look, someone over hears you talking like that, they’regoing to start talking, then everyones going to know, then it’s going to beweird…because Paul will want to talk and he’ll do the emotional thing and itwill be a disaster.” Shannon explained, yeah, so what, might have been a littlecold but she couldn’t deal with that level of emotion right now.
“You say nothing, got it?”
