Ok, so I was going through the costuming section of the Cats wiki, which is filled with the concept art/mockups for each of the cats, and they mostly make sense, they’re in a simple front facing pose

Heres Alonzo for example, most of these sketches are like this, I’m pretty sure that they are meant to help the costumer, John Napier, design the patterns on the costumes, but I was going through them and was hit with THESE and felt the need to share them with y’all

Excuse me? Why is the Rumpus Cat in this pose instead of the normal one? Why does his lower face look like a skull? Why is his body so defined in this one sketch??? Its a simple silver bodysuit, why is he like this? Its so uncomfortably more detailed than the rest

Skimbleshanks isn't bad but its still oddly more detailed than the other focus cats like Jenny, also very fuzzy.

CRYPTID MISTO?

MACAVITY??? Why does he have two faces in his whiskers??? Im not try to disrespect John Napier’s designs but wow some of Macavitys is interesting.
