The videos on this channel were created to inspire and/or motivate people to accomplish their goals and ambitions to join the military, a special forces team or in any other aspect of life. US Snipers fire various sniper rifles while conducting a marksmanship training exercise at a range - compilation. Footage include a live-fire exercise while at sea to practice defending the ship against small boat attacks; aerial sniper training aboard a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter above the Pacific Ocean; check and fire long-range rifles to maintain proficiency. - The Barrett M82, standardized by the US Military as the M107, is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic sniper rifle developed by the American Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company. It is used by many units and armies around the world. Despite its designation as an anti-materiel rifle, it is used by some armed forces as an anti-personnel sniper rifle. It is also called the Light Fifty for its .50 BMG (12.7×99mm NATO) chambering and significantly lighter weight compared to previous applications. The weapon is found in two variants, the original M82A1 (and A3) and the bullpup M82A2. The M82A2 is no longer manufactured, though the XM500 can be seen as its successor. The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System is intended to replace the M24 Sniper Weapon System used by snipers, spotters, designated marksman, or squad advanced marksmen in the United States Army. U.S. Army soldiers from Task Force Fury in Afghanistan were the first in a combat zone to receive the M110. The troops rated the weapon very highly, noting the quality of the weapon and its semi-automatic capabilities compared to the bolt-action M24.
