(Late) Valentines - Chengxian

I posted this on twt, but to those who follow me here, hello. I am posting this one day late chengxian valentines one shot.

Wei Wuxian could only crouch and poke at some talismans by his feet, as he heard the gleeful cheers of couples and other people outside, he did wonder why people even celebrate the death of another person, Valentines... It was Valentine's day that they celebrated, unfortunately for him, since he was immortal he had heard all the gossip when it happened and then, well... Wei Wuxian sighed as he saw the two little feet hoop into his sight, then Valentines became a love day. 

"Shoo, don't touch that, I know you love making a mess." 

"Caw-" 

"No-" The man and the raven had a sudden stare off competition. With the raven having turned its head to the side, its little beady eye glowing red. 

"You're only alive because I allow you to be, now shoo-" Wei Wuxian used his hand to gently push the raven away from the talismans.

The raven was none too pleased by this thread and pecked at the fingers with another caw.

"I know you want to go out and play, but I don't have the time right now, I got to look into this haunting." 

"Caw"

"No, I won't be celebrating valentine's day," Wei Wuxian finally looked up from the scattered papers and placed his arms on his knees as he watched the little bird, "I don't have anyone to celebrate it with either." If one paid close enough attention they could see the cogs turning in the little raven's head, but Wei Wuxian could only watch in both amusement and wariness, knowing how mischievous the bird could be.

 The little raven was only a fledgling when Wei Wuxian had found it in the Burial Mounds and having raised it, he couldn’t part with the mischievous little bird when its time had came and so he did something one shouldn’t do and messed with the circle of life once again, his consequences? Well the consequences were that Wei Wuxian must walk this earth without the escape of death. 

 Wei Wuxian could only chuckle as he turned back to the talismans ignoring the raven who was now hopping around its owner. Coming round, the raven used its beak to tug at the trousers leg, and Wei Wuxian continued to ignore the bird until there was a jingle. 

“Hey, give that back.” Wei Wuxian spoke softly as he finally turned his attention to the bird, who now had a little bell in its hold by a string. 

“You know how important that is to me, hey- hey let’s trade.” He thought he was a genuins, reaching into his pocket and pulling out some peanuts. He wished he was a genius, but it looked like the raven was not in the mood to bargain today.  

 The Raven tilted its head, the bell jingling in the process and Wei Wuxian slowly braced himself for the impact as he fell forwards, his stomach taking the brunt of the force and crumpling the talismans - which he was trying so hard not to touch - in hopes of catching the Raven, but he was too slow and the raven took a few hops before spreading its wings and flying off. 

“Bastard, and I raised you as well.” Wei Wuxian grumbled as he placed his forehead on the ground and just laid face flat for a moment before getting up and dusting himself off, he needed to find the bell. 

 Wei Wuxian finally looked around and started to make his way towards where he guessed the raven had flow off and made his way out the alleyway towards the bustling street, which in fact was full of vendors trying to preach roses or chocolate, with the excuse that a handsome man like him should have a sweetheart of his own. 

 And usually Wei Wuxian was good at ignoring the said compliments but when he was stopped in his tracks by a little girl who was selling some roses he could only groan on the inside and buy a few. 

 Roses in hand, he still continued down the road until he rounded a corner and heard the jingle of the bell. 

“Where did you get this from?”

“Caw” 

 Wei Wuxian felt time freeze as he saw the person sitting outside the cafe, the person was dressed casually with their hair in a half up and half down hairdo, the frown on their face felt familiar too, but it shouldn’t have been them, too many decades have passed. 

“Where did you get this from…” The man repeated the question, much slower now as he raised the bell up and the purple tassel dangled down. 

 And Wei Wuxian felt his own breath hitch and his heart pick up pace, it couldn’t be a trick of the light because the sun was shining over them, casting the man in a warm glow, even though they appeared quite unapproachable. 

“Calm down Wei Wuxian, he might not recognise you,” Wei Wuxian murmured to himself as he stuck on a smile and went over the pair of a man and crow. 

“Hey, so sorry- That’s mine, it's just this little guy who stole it from me.” 

 The man frowned even more as he looked up at Wei Wuxian, he looked like a carbon copy of Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian felt a pang in his heart. 

“I would rather ask why would someone have a Yunmeng Jiang clarity bell with them.” 

 Well Wei Wuxian was screwed, he messed up big time, 

“But that would also explain why this crow kept bringing me all sorts of cursed trinkets.” 

“He’s not a crow but a Rave-” Wei Wuxian shut his mouth as soon as the man's words were processed. “Shit.” 

“You got some explaining to do, sit down.” Jiang Cheng motioned towards the open seat opposite to him. 

 Wei Wuxian felt lost for a moment but did as he was told and looked at the roses in his hands. 

“Are those for your beloved Lan?” The bitterness was still evident in Jiang Cheng’s tone as he placed the clarity bell on the table and leaned back, his arms crossing in front of his chest, it was a defensive stance. 

“No- No, these are uhh for you.” He panicked okay? 

 Jiang Cheng looked just as surprised by this, and hesitated for a moment before taking the roses, a soft blush tinting his cheeks. 

“You still have some explaining to do.” 

 The Raven gave a happy caw and hopped over to Jiang Cheng, pecking at the man’s hand. Wei Wuxian could only glare at the bird as Jiang Cheng raised his fingers and stroked its head.

 It looked like he wasn’t going to spend Valentines alone after all.

Glass snaps bar top but John only looks at the movement of her throat, the satisfied sigh on her liquor damp lips. At that moment, John first knew what her mouth tasted like. “Odd for a woman to hold her liquor like you can,” he comments, far too intrigued not to. “You’ve got a lot of opinions on people’s drinking for a bartender,” she retorts, voice perfectly even, a hint of bemusement as if she were drawing a line in hopes he might toe it. “You Darcy Abel?” All the expression in her features left, even her eyes flat and guarded, “Who said that?” “A friend I made at the real estate office today. I was looking at your track of land— but the records only show a Peter Abel, that your husband, Miss. Darcy?” “No.” John wants to press but knows he shouldn’t and smiles, indulging her idea of privacy. “Hm. Well, he looking to sell?” “No.” “Fair enough,” he says with a shrug, pushing the hostage shot glass toward her and lifting the other to his lips with a murmur, “Don’t be rude.” They tilt their heads back together and lick their lips at the same time. “Coffee?” he guesses and rests his hands down, shoulders slouching between the span of his spread arms. “Yes, please.” Her lips are chapped. He walks over when an idea makes him turn away from the coffee pot, and leans down on his elbows a few feet away. Tiredly rubs his jaw, resting his chin in his hand as he looks over at Darcy. “You want to try somethin’ different?” John asks in a blasé tone as if he could shrug off any rejection and go about making her coffee.

You were already awake but you just wanted to play with him a little. You were trying not to laugh but he could still hear you

"I know you're awake I hear you trying not to laugh -_-"

"Fine I can't anymore", you said laughing

"I knew you were awake. Come here love",he showed you to go in his arms. You went in and relaxed in his hold.

"I took the day off for me and you for our special day",he muffled his face on the top of your head.

"That's awesome! We will get the opportunity to be together all day! I love you so much!"

"I love you too My Love", he kissed the top of you head.

Today was your 3 years mariage anniversary. He was the best husband you could ask for and the last 3 years were so beautiful.

"Do you want to do something in particular? It's all your choice baby."

"It's OUR special day not mine!", you said laughing a bit

"But I want to treat you like a queen today"

"You treat me like a queen everyday Shoto. Plus, I have a surprise for you tonight"

"Anyways, how about we go take breakfast at a cafe and we'll see what we'll do from there okay?"

You both dressed up and got ready for your wondeful day full of love and happiness.

You arrived at the cafe and waited for your turn. When some guys were looking at you, Shoto putted an arm around your waist to show and tell them in silence: "You can look but she's mine"

You both took your orders and as you were about to pay, he took his credit card and payed for the both of you. You went in the corner to wait for your order. You looked and whispered/yelled:

"Shoto! I could've payed you know.", you pouted.

"I know Love, but I want to be the best husband ever today"

"You are the best husband everyday!"

"Thank you Love. I will let you treat me later okay? Didn't you also say you had a surprise?"

"Oh yeah that's right!"

"Order number 23."

"Thank you have a nice day!",you said at the server.

You both sat at a table and talked about how your jobs have been doing and other random stuff. He listened to you all the way and looked at you with loving eyes.

"How did I get so lucky to have someone so beautiful has her.", he thought.

"You know? It kinda reminds me of our days in U.A."

"How so?"

"When you brought me to some places and always payed for me with your dad's credit card.", he laughed a bit.

"Yeah you're right.", he cupped you cheek and you melted into the touch.

"It was a while ago"

You both finished eating and decided to go to the beach. It was a beautiful day and what is better than taking some sun on the side of a beach? Almost nothing. So, you both went home and packed your stuff to go to the beach.

You arrived and installed your chairs(you know like this thing):

You had putted your suimsuits under your clothes so you removed your shirt and pants just to be in your suimsuit. Shoto looked at you and blushed a bit at sight.

"So beautiful", he thought

He also removed his shirt to leave himself in only his swimming tracks and it was your turn to blush(I mean have you seen his freaking abs?! >///<) You sat on your chairs and relaxed for a while. He was holding your hand while you were both sleeping. You both had a stressfull week and taking time for the both of you was just perfect. Of course, due to the fact you were both pre heroes(him on third place and you on fifth place), got greeted by fans when you were awake(We love respecting fans >:3). After that, you went in the water and you then splashed water at him.

"Oh you're in for it Love."

He throwed back water at you and you both started a water war. You were both smiling and laughing and you suddlenly gave Shoto a loving look. He stopped splashing water and looked at you.

"What are you doing Love looking at me like that?", he smirked a bit.

"I'm glad to see you so happy and laughing. It warms my heart.", you smiled at him and he got closer to you.

"It's all because of you My Love. You helped me get over my past and you made me the happiest man on earth. I still thank Midoriya for making me know more about you on that the day we had a real conversation for the first time. What did I do to deserve a so beautiful princess like you in my life?",he cupped your cheek.

"And what did I do to deserve a handsome Icy-Hot prince in my life?"

He brought you behind a big rock where no one could see you both and started kissing you. He putted his hand on your hip.

"Is it okay if I put my hand on your hip?", even after years of marriage he wants to make sure you feel comfortable and doesn't want to disrespect your boundries.

"It's totally okay Sho.", you smiled sweetly at him and after he went back to kissing you.

When it was time to go back home you packed back your stuff and went back to your house. You asked him if he could dress up in his suit and he told you that he would be glad to (have you seen Shoto in a suit?! It's beautiful TwT(ok I'm gonna stop now haha)).

You putted your beautiful dress that you had bought recently. It was your favorite color and was looking like this:

He was waiting for you because you took a bit more time to get ready. When you got out of the bathroom, his eyes widened and he was looking at you in awe. You were like the most beautiful angel he ever saw and he thinks he's blessed to have you in his life.

"My Love...Wow..."

"Thank you", you blushed a bit at his reaction.

"Are you ready for your surprise?"

"Of course My Love."

You both went in the car and you drived to the place. He was curious of where you were taking him. When you arrived, you told him to close his eyes and that you were going to guide him. He felt that he was sitting down and you told him to open his eyes. He opened them and saw the fancy place you brought him to. Your were in a fancy restaurant and you were just the two of you alone in a room with a table and candles.

"You're the one who always brings me to fancy restaurants like this, so I decided to surprise you by doing an uno reverse card. I'm sorry if it's not very original".

"It's perfect My Love", he kisses your cheek.

"Welcome to our place tonight. I'll be your server today. Would you like to have something to drink?"

"We'll take two glasses of your choice of champagne please",you ask.

"Of course. Here are the menus I'll be back".

You both look at the menu and choose your meals. The server comes back with two champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne. You tell them your orders and they go do their stuff. While you wait, you just enjoy each others presence and live a wonderful moment.

"To our marriage!",you said while bringing your glass in the air.

"To our mariage!",he says looking at you with his eyes full of love.

The server brought you both your meals and you enjoyed it fully. After dinner, he hears a song playing. He reconizes the song,it's your wedding song.

"What did you plan Love?",he smiles at you.

He stands up and bows to you.

"Will you give me this dance My Lady?(Cat Noir vibes)",he asks you.

"With pleasure", you take his hand to stand up to go dance.

He puts one of his hand on your hips and the other holds one of your hand, while your other hand is on his shoulder. You both dance in each others arms and it's like you both are stuck in your own little world. It was one of the most beautiful night you spent together and it's a day you will never forget.

The next day:

The next morning, you wake up before Shoto because of a weird feeling. You look at him to admire his beautiful sleepy face, but you then start to feel sick. You get out of the bed the fastest possible and run to the bathroom. You start to throw up and cough in the toilet. Shoto hears the noises, gets up to go to in front of the bathroom and knocks on the door.

"Baby? Are you okay in there?"

"I'm just throwing up it's fine. It will pass."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. You have to go to work and I don't want to put you late. I'll call sick and go to the doctor if it can reassure you okay?"

"Okay. I love you."

"Love you too."

A.N: I will end it here for now! I'll make a part 2 as soon as possible, but I think you get where this is going to ;)

I think you also saw that Shoto called you beautiful many times and that's because I want all of you to feel loved and beautiful. I live with insecurities, but I try each day to get over them and I know it's hard. Remember that you are loved and cared for!

AN: Lol <1k was a bit of a lie apparently. Anywho, thank you for the request! Sorry if the writing feels a little clunky/repetitive TwT BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, Hyunjin is back!!

“I don’t know, do you think he’ll like it?” you asked your phone that was on speakerphone as you scrolled through the list of recipes on your screen.

You heard an exasperated sigh from the other end of the line, “of course he’s going to love it. You’re his significant other.”

“Yeah, but he’s not that fond of sweets,” you bit your lip and ran a hand through your hair in frustration.

Han let out another groan from your hesitance, at this point, he was probably more frustrated than you, “have you seen him with Felix makes brownies?”

“Okay, but Felix’s brownies can make anyone melt.” You bit back in response as you thought to the cheery blond’s sweets. They always made you feel better, even after a rough day.

“He’s going to love anything you make him,” Han told you with finality, though this would be the fifth time he’s told you this. “But the more time you waste doing this the less time you have to make it.”

You snorted, knowing Han also had streaks of indecisiveness, “when did you become decisive?”

“Since you spent nearly an hour going in circles with me.” You let out a yelp of surprise, not realizing how much time had already passed. “Just make cookies! They’re going to be faster than a cake.” Your black-haired friend quickly told you, hoping to take this opportunity to give you a decision.

“Okay, okay, thank you!” you hurriedly clicked on the recipe with the highest rating and number of reviews.

“It’ll be amazing!” Han rushed to tell you as you fumbled with your phone to hang up.

“Thanks Han! If we have any extra I’ll bring you some!”

“Go, go go!” Han cheered before hanging up. With a determined nod, you ran around your shared kitchen for the ingredients. You frowned when you couldn’t find any more chocolate chips, Minho must’ve eaten them because you could’ve sworn you had some last week. It looks like you’ll have to change your plan and make sugar cookies. You found a simple recipe that allowed for decorating and decided that you’d decorate them. That’d be a cute gesture, right?

With clumsy precision, you measured out the ingredients and mixed them together to form the dough. You frowned as the recipe called to chill the dough for a couple of hours. You weren’t going to have time for that, so you’d have to skip that step and hope things still turned out all right. With the use of a couple of spoons and a butterknife, you were able to scoop out some relatively flat cookies onto the baking tray and pop them into the oven. It was a shame you couldn’t find the cat-shaped cookie cutters that you thought Felix gave you for Christmas, but they were very lost. Now that you think about it, you weren’t sure if you saw them since the day he gave them to you.

It was with a sinking heart when you realized you would have to wait for the cookies to cool before you could ice them. “It’ll be okay, right?” you worriedly mumbled as you glanced at your phone to see how much longer you had until Minho came home and the timer telling you that it would be close. Letting out a somewhat panicked but quiet, “aaaaaa,” you set to cleaning up the bowls and utensils you had used to make the dough. In no time they were on the drying rack and you grabbed a smaller bowl to make the icing.

You fished through to the back of your pantry for the somewhat old bag of powdered sugar that you used to decorate pancakes with and then never used again. You were glad to see it was still powdery and usable. You were measuring out the powder for the icing when a light body made its way to your side.

“Hey Doongie,” you cooed as you pet the cat who leaped onto the counter for some affection. “We’re going to make your dad cookies, what do you think?” dark eyes blinked at you lazily. “Ah, maybe that’s what I get for trying to talk to cats.” You sniggered when you got no response. You turned around to check the next steps of the recipe, but quickly spun around in fear when you heard the hollow ‘thunk’ of something plastic falling to the ground and an indignant ‘meow.’

“Oh no!” you panicked when you saw Doongie sitting cleanly on the counter where you left the white cat, but there was no bowl of powdered sugar. That was spilled on the ground. “Why’d you do that?” you wailed at the cat who you swore was smirking at you. You grew even more scared when you saw the disturbed flour on the ground. It was thrown all over the place and you saw pawprints leading out from the mess. “You didn’t!” you scolded as you followed the trail of white pawprints, already fearing for the mess that was being tracked all over your apartment.

Thanks to the visible trail, you were able to find the victim hidden in one of the cat houses perched on a scratching post. “You wanna come out?” you cooed to the cat enshrouded in darkness. You needed to see the damage that was done. Two eyes seemed to stare back at you from the darkness, blinking only once. You let out a sigh before returning to the kitchen to grab a cat treat. Doongie meowed pleadingly with you, going as far as to put a paw on your arm when you fished out a treat, “no.” You told the cat sassily, “you’ve caused enough trouble.” You swore Doongie rolled their eyes at you as you walked away.

“Come on out,” you gently cooed as you waved the treat in front of the opening to the cat housing. There was a moment of silence, and then a head popped out. You quickly moved your hand away so the cat would have to reach, and gasped when you saw the white cat who emerged. “Oh no Dori!” the normally striped gray cat was almost completely coated in powdered sugar. “On second thought,” you put the treat back into the housing, “you can stay in there.” You were not looking forward to washing the dark cat.

You left the cat to the darkness of the cat house and the treat before returning to the kitchen, letting out another wail when you saw Doongie playing around in the pile of sugar. “No! Bad cat!” you weren’t keen on another set of sugar tracks around the apartment so you slowly came closer to pick up Doongie. The white cat froze and stared at you, nimbly jumping out of the way when you lunged forward to pick them up. “No! Come back here!” you raced around the apartment chasing the white cat.

After a few seconds of chasing them, you decided to give up, hoping Doongie would calm down and sit instead of running around the entire apartment to cause an even bigger mess. You quickly closed the door to the bathroom where the cat was currently taking refuge and closed all the doors to the rooms. Hopefully this would keep the damage contained. With a sigh you set to cleaning up the powdered sugar that had splattered to the ground and somehow onto the cabinet right next to it.

You heard the deadbolt click and your heart sank as the door opened to reveal Minho, “hey,” while you were sad your cookies weren’t ready in time, seeing him always put a smile on your face and you got up from the ground to greet him, “you’re home early.”

“They let me leave earlier,” he smiled as the two of you quickly kissed. There was a meow and he looked down in confusion at the half-white half-gray Dori.

“Dori?” he kneeled down and rubbed the cat lovingly, “what happened?” he asked as he turned his attention to you.

“Don’t freak out.”

His dark eyes widened, “that’s not reassuring at all.”

“I was trying to bake you cookies, and then Doongie knocked the sugar bowl onto Dori.” Minho let out a quiet yelp and began inspecting Dori for any wounds. “Sorry.” You muttered shamefully, you were just trying to celebrate.

“Don’t worry about it,” Minho smiled as he pulled you into a hug, “that’s so sweet you tried to make something for me.”

“I guess I made something.” You muttered bitterly into his shirt, “a mess.”

“It’s the thought that counts,” he told you gently, “they’re self-cleaning,” he gestured toward Dori, “it’ll be fine. Probably.” You giggled at his last comment, relieved to find he wasn’t mad. He was an angel, if your positions were switched, you definitely wouldn’t be as cool-headed as he was right now. “Is something burning?” Minho asked after a moment and you let out a scream, running over to the oven and completely deflating when you saw the blackened cookies.

Minho aided you in opening the window and airing out the open oven so the fire alarm wouldn’t go off, “that wasn’t supposed to happen.” You mumbled sullenly as you took out the cookie sheet and cautiously broke one of them, causing it to completely shatter and reveal how deep the black reached. “I kind of don’t want to scrape off the burnt parts to get to the good stuff.

Minho peered over your shoulder and popped one of the broken pieces into his mouth. His eyes watered at the hot treat and he frantically waved a hand over his open mouth to try and cool it down. “Yeah, it’s kind of bad.” He answered honestly as he engulfed you in a back hug, “and it burned half of my taste buds before I even tasted it.” You deflated at his blunt comment, “don’t worry! Let’s go buy some cookies at the bakery down the street!”

“But I wanted to make you something to celebrate,” you pouted, looking sadly at the blackened sweets.

“Just being with you is enough,” he smiled into your neck.

You hummed and leaned into his touch, “you’re too nice.”

“Come on,” he gently tugged at you, “let’s clean up the cats and get some cookies.”

“I love you,” you told him softly as you gave him a kiss.

“Love you too.”

Long Post Discussing Dream TWT: Featuring Fan, Hate, and Trending Talks Mostly (Interaction Absolutely Encouraged)

(A lot of this can actually be applied to all fanbases but I chose the one relevant to my current interests and issues that were on my radar.)

I made a post previously that my love for mcyts (Specifically members of the Dream SMP) was dying because of nonstop Dream hate on Twitter. I felt like I couldn't safely look through a trending tag (which will be a separate discussion in this) without having to also see endless insults, attacks, and belittlement amongst people just trying to have fun with CCs. To make this understandable and easy for me to keep on theme I'm gonna break it down into the relevant topics also this is absolutely open for discussion as long as everyone is being respectful. Do not insult people and if they seem like a troll just leave them be.

Fans vs Stans:

So this, I think, is a center point for the Dream hate. It feels that anyone expressing interest in Dream and related CCs content is immediately targeted and made fun of because obviously you can't enjoy something without being an awful person to people who don't enjoy said thing. That last statement was sarcastic (just so its clear). People especially on Twitter will be relentless in preying on just basic fans for simply posting about a funny moment. They claim its because its annoying and nonstop and all of their fans are obviously brainwashed.

No. Just. No.

Enjoying something means you consume it. If you enjoy sports you watch the team play. No one says yeah this is my favorite team I watched one game once. That would be ridiculous. So it makes no sense to attack people for watching a person's content and knowing their content when they're a fan of said content.

That being said, yes people can get carried away and be rude to people for no reason. This however includes people hating on fans simply for being fans. You can't say you're disrespectful to all fans because one time a few were rude to you. Every fan base has rude people and at this point in the internet people WILL talk more about bad than good so please don't assume the worst because you heard a story or saw one wildly talked about incident where a small percentage of fans were involved and where other fans were actively telling the others to chill out.

Trending and Interaction:

This is the topic I sort of touched on in my last post. So to summarize, Dream and his friends trend A LOT. This isn't surprising as one, they're popular at the moment and two, they're streamers so when something happens a ton of people all know at once and will post at once. That's how trending works after all.

Here's where it gets annoying though, and no, not due to fans. Fans are allowed to post about content they enjoy and are allowed to joke and interact online with people who enjoy the same content. So you can't gatekeep the trending tab. It's literally impossible and just because its not enjoyable for you and not something you're interested in doesn't mean it shouldn't be trending.

This is where interaction comes in. Twitter and pretty much every social media ever tracks what you consume. This is why Twitter actually has multiple trending pages. The "For you" trending is what we'll mostly be discussing now though. The "For you" trending is the first page it opens up and will consist of things Twitter knows you interact with. So in other words, constantly viewing Dream and related content just to get angry and insult people? Guess what! You just ensured it will constantly be on your radar. Easy solution? Don't interact with content you don't enjoy. Yes you won't always be able to avoid it but this is true for everything. Just do your best and watch out for your own interests as best as possible (this statement applies to the actual trending page as well). Unless you're intentionally interacting just so you can continue bullying people its not that hard to avoid. And if you are doing that, I feel really sorry that you don't have something you actually enjoy to consume instead of just spreading hate (this is genuine not an attack).

CC Relationships:

A lot of Dream and related creator haters often state that the creators and fans have an unhealthy relationship. This is not a fair statement to the standard fan. People who actually show obsessive traits and attack people over their creators do have an unhealthy connection, but what is not unhealthy is-

Enjoying a creators content

Following their social media

Making posts and content about creators

These actions are literally the basis of being a fan of content. So no, posting about something a creator said or did is not creepy and obsessive just because its not funny or entertaining to you. Its like when your friend does something stupid and you will randomly bring it up whenever you can because it was a funny moment. Thats essentially what this is. No, we are not friends of the creators most of the time, but we do have a relationship to the creators. Most of the time with CCs their fan base consists of people with similar interests, senses of humor, and personalities. So we can relate to the things that happen with them and their friends and since they're broadcasting it we will find it funny when they find it funny. And that's okay and shouldn't be a hot take.

Also creators saying they love their fans is not a bad thing. Platonic love of people who share in your accomplishments, support you, and encourage your growth is not a bad thing. Thats what this type of relationship is and should be with CCs. They are where they are because people connected with them and they connected with those people. Let them express that admiration and gratitude.

Joking vs Attacking:

Final rant because this is already long and probably won't get attention anyways. A lot of Dream fans have tough skin after being a part of this sudden shift to mainstream and constant hate. This means that sometimes fans will make their own jokes about hating the fans even though they are one. However, this can sometimes be extremely misleading and damaging to see. No I'm not saying you can't make these jokes after all some are actually really funny! But try to make it clear that you aren't actually a part of the people who are actively trying to tear down a fanbase. Sometimes intentions don't come across well and insults can actually be, well, insulting when not phrased correctly. This is by no means an attempt at gatekeeping but rather just a general public announcement as a fan who often times saw something that actually added to the sadness of feeling constantly attacked and belittled only to see that the poster was also a fan.

That was long and probably a little all over the place so if you made it this far just know that I appreciate you and hope you're doing well in these times. 💕 I just really needed a place to get out these thoughts and figured hey Tumblr is significantly less mean than Twitter in my experience so let's attempt this.

Code Realize Playthrough - Fran’s Route - Chapter 12: Calamity

Warning: Spoilers. Image heavy post.

This chapter has no new CG so we’ll just have to make do with a nice-smiling Fran as the cover chapter~ XD The story is getting more and more intense as we made our way towards the end, but there are still one or two sweet moments.

Next chapter will be the finale~! I’m looking forward to writing that out~ ^^

Time counts down to 6 hours left.

Cardia and Fran were making their escape away from Twilight, but with Fran being weak to the point that Cardia had to help him to move along, it would be a matter of time before they were being caught up. Fran suggested that he would be a decoy to distract Twilight while Cardia escaped joining Lupin and the others, but Cardia stopped him instead and told him that she had thought of herself being a monster, and if that time comes... she would choose to take her own life. For her, it’s important to be with Fran as much as possible and thus she decided that she shall stay with him and not abandon him. And what goes on, is sort of like a confession from Cardia to Fran:

Fran blushed and mumbled something about love, which Cardia thought hard about it and decided that she shall tell Fran right at the moment she loves him XD (I do envy Cardia for being so straight forward in her feelings at this moment O////O)

But Fran showed a glum face and replied that he doesn’t deserve to be loved. But.... apparently, Cardia gave quite a cute answer~

Fran was about to reply to Cardia when... who was to appear to destroy the atmosphere other than Twilight? =w=“ Aleister appeared too, and remarked that the Twilight is here under the Queen’s order, passing on the message from her that if Fran obtained Zicterium for them, she will let both Cardia and him go. Twilight had already known of someone who was related to the project in creating Zicterium, but when they arrived at the man’s house, they realised that the information had already been removed and deduced that Lupin and the others had already obtained them - handwritten notes which contained the location where Zicterium were being hidden. 

To force Fran to obtain the Zicterium, Cardia was being held as a hostage by Twilight, giving Fran four hours to locate the Zicterium, and if he failed to do so, Cardia would be killed, as a “safety prevention” that she would get turned into a monster. Though Fran confronted Aleister that the Queen would definitely want to keep Cardia alive as a weapon, Aleister coolly revealed that he had not planned to obey the Queen’s instructions anyway. In the end, Fran had no choice but to obey Twilight and the Queen’s instructions, and a tracking device was put onto him to keep his whereabouts, warning Fran that he would also be under surveillance to prevent him from doing anything funny. 

(I seriously don’t think to beg for help is going to be of much use at this moment so...)

Cardia tried to assure Fran to go find the Zicterium and not worry about her and instead wanted him to destroy the Zicterium once he had found them, even if Aleister warned her that she would eventually become a monster without it. Though Cardia appeared that she did not care about her life and will put an end to her life if the inevitable happens, Fran gave his word that he would find the Zicterium, warning Aleister not to harm her.

(This is probably very important to take note of in the later part of the game. Trust may or may not make things turn out right in the end...)

Cardia had tried to take her own life, by throwing herself at the blade which the Twilight member was holding against her throat, but ultimately failed to do so. Fran promised that he would come back to her and begged her not to give up on her life so easily just yet. (Damn, I’m a bit sad to know that Cardia actually attempted to commit suicide when Fran was still there. It’s too early to give up! ><”)

From here on, the story continued on in Fran’s point of view:

An hour after the confrontation with Twilight, Fran found himself running along the streets of London. With only three hours left to find Zicterium, it seems that there isn’t enough time to think up of a strategy to work against Twilight, but it’s still too soon to give up yet. Fran knew that there isn’t any guarantee that they would make it out alive even if he had brought the Zicterium to Twilight, but he had no choice but to do that now, in order to save Cardia.

(It’s interesting to see from Fran’s point of view for this scene, where we actually get to see Cardia appear as a character.)

Knowing that Aleister had planned to use Zicterium as a weapon, Fran’s nightmare from two years ago was going to come true all over again, and he isn’t going to let that happen. His plan was ultimately to find Zicterium and destroys it, but memories of Cardia filled his head and he knew that he had to save her, while still destroying Zicterium, though the logical part of his brain told him that this was not possible.

Fran ran until he arrived at the meeting spot where he saw Van waiting for him. He remarked that Impey had gotten worried about the explosion and went looking for Fran and Cardia, and the rest had continued onto the location of Zicterium since it had been written down on the researcher’s notes even though the person himself was already dead by the time they went to his house. 

Noticing that Cardia was not with Fran, Van asked him why was he alone. Fran knew that he should not say anything suspicious since he knew that Twilight was watching him, and thus told a fake reason to Van while using his finger to drum out a morse code revealing the real reason at the same time. 

(I have to say that this is my first time seeing Van looking so surprised XD)

From Van’s slight expression changes, Fran knew that he had already realised what was going on, and begged Van to tell him about the location where Zicterium was kept (since ultimately he needs it to save Cardia). Van told him the location and asked Fran to keep up with him as they ran towards there. 

Time count down to 4 hours left. 

The story goes back to Cardia’s point of view, where she found herself being tied up on a chair and thus could not move. Even her hands were tied up to the point that she can’t remove her gloves to melt the rope using her poison. (Wow, the villains were actually detailed and careful to this degree OWO)

Aleister entered the room, being all polite and asking Cardia on her body condition, but after some chit-chat, he revealed that Fran had already figured out where the Zicterium was being kept, and that he had also sent some of his Twilight agents to the location, since he had not planned for Fran to bring Zicterium to him anyway, knowing that even if Fran wanted to, the rest of the group may not agree to it. He soon left the room, but not without some remarks of how “alive” Cardia was even though she was supposed to be just a “doll”, wondering whether she was pretending to be angry. (Who will do that at a point like this? =w=“) After Aleister left the room, Cardia could sense her condition gradually worsening, and know that she might not be able to move much any longer.

(At this point, a choice was given and... stupid me believing to wait for Fran to come back with the Zicterium, chose to wait. Cardia started feeling really dizzy and having a headache to the point she collapsed and knowing that her body is changing to a monster... and she lost her conscious. And I ended with a bad end. Welp, that was a fast ending D:)

(Luckily, there’s always a second chance~!)

Knowing that her being kept captive will only prevent Fran’s progress and put the group into a disadvantage if they were being attacked by Twilight, Cardia decided to make a run herself. She decided to scratch her wrist with something sharp in this room and use her blood to melt the rope, but when she finally managed to do it, she realised something strange... her blood isn’t melting off the rope like it used to! She wondered whether the poison had weakened as part of the Horologium’s transformation, but managed to stay calm in the end as she tried to untie the rope herself using what Lupin had taught her. She finally managed to free herself, and seeing that she had just three hours left before she transformed, she quickly made her escape out of the house she was being kept captive in, shattering the window and jumping out of it.

Unfortunately, Cardia soon met a Twilight member outside of the house as she jumped out, but managed to knock him out with the techniques she had learned from Van, taking a dagger from him too in the meantime. (The reason why she took a dagger is to use it to kill herself if it’s needed. Cardia... TWT)

As Cardia tried to run away, she found herself surrounded by Twilight members. Luckily, Impey had arrived with the Ornithopter and grabbed Cardia away from them. (Yeah~~! Thanks, Impey~!)

(It feels like it’s been so long since I’ve heard Impey said anything like this~ Probably because I’ve dragging out this route for so long ^^;)

Cardia filled Impey in quickly about the current situation, and they both made their way there just so that Cardia can assure the others that she’s safe now.

The story changed to Fran’s point of view.

As Van and he arrived at the location where Zicterium was said to be hidden, he looked at his watch and realised that there are only three hours left till the Horologium transforms, and that would mean there’s only one hour left before Aleister would kill Cardia. They soon meet up with Lupin and Saint there, where Lupin sighed and commented that they’re currently stuck since they can’t move past the huge doors at the end. 

While Fran was giving the fake explanation about Cardia to the others, Van passed on the real message using morse code once again. (Wow... did all of them learned morse code and could understand it already? OWO) But soon, Twilight had arrived at this place and started attacking them. Since it seems like Twilight wasn’t holding up their end to the bargain, Van suggested that they fought back, but Fran was worried about antagonizing them since he knew that Cardia was in their hands. He tried to think up of a plan where they can gain an upper hand and noticing the transmitter on his clothing where Aleister was using to keep tabs on him, a plan started to form in his head as he asked Van regarding the chain of command in Twilight. 

Knowing from Van that the Twilight soldiers were still able to relay information to Aleister even if he isn’t here, Fran decided to shout out to them that he wanted to negotiate with Aleister, declaring that they had a trump card and that Aleister won’t be able to access Zicterium without it. As expected, the soldiers ceased their attacks, while Fran continued on that he knew how to decipher the trick to access the room, and if Aleister killed them here, he would never be able to decipher it within two hours and get accessed to the Zicterium. Though Aleister threatened Fran again that he had Cardia in his hands, Fran was not scared and said that both he and she were already prepared to die anyway. Part of it was a lie actually since Fran had no idea how to decipher the trick to the hidden room yet, but all he can do now was to cease fighting to buy for more time before the Horologium finishes transforming. 

Aleister finally agreed to negotiate with Fran, and Fran wanted Twilight to bring Cardia here so that they can make sure she’s safe before they open the door. But Aleister refused, telling him that he would dispose Cardia and also kill all of them instead since he doesn’t want to take a risky bet. (My bet is Cardia wasn’t even there anymore so he can’t bring her to where Fran was if he wanted to =w=“). As the group resumed their battle with Twilight once again, Fran heard a familiar voice he felt that he hasn’t listened to for a long time...

(Yeah~! Cardia is here, along with Impey~ I have to admit they look kind of good together here XD)

Fran hurriedly ran to her asking her how she managed to make her escape. Now that the group was reunited, Impey joined Van and the others to battle against Twilight.

(Though while they were battling, Fran was hugging Cardia and telling her how glad he was that she was safe. And here’s how Cardia looks like when she blushed in front of Fran. Awww~)

Fran declared to Aleister that the latter had lost. But Aleister simply smiled as he stepped away from his communication device in the mansion. Realising that Twilight had been surrounded by the military as Queen, Aleister decided that he shall end Twilight today, by killing his own men and even the Queen’s troops as he made his escape... 

(Hmm... I wonder if we would ever see Aleister made an appearance someday...)

Time counts down to 1 hour left.

The military had also arrived at the location where Fran and others were at, with Leonhardt leading them to destroy Twilight. While Twilight’s soldiers were good at combat, the military was too, and soon Twilight was put under control by them. 

Though the military had come to get rid of Twilight which was a good thing for Fran and others, it didn’t seem like they were here to help them. The soldiers quickly surrounded them, with Leonhardt warning them not to move as the soldiers would shoot them if they had shown any resistance. Van cautioned the group to be careful since, in Van’s eyes, Leonhardt was a very strong and powerful soldier.

Suddenly, Queen Victoria made an appearance as well, thanking Fran and the others for keeping Twilight distracted, so that none of her soldiers was harmed. Van realised that they were being used as a bait all this while to cause trouble with Twilight, to which Victoria explained that she had been keeping an eye on Aleister and noticed that he was being rebellious, and knowing that danger that Cardia could cause if she were to fall into the “wrong” hands, she decided to take this matter into her own hands in the end.

Victoria explained that she had let Cardia and Fran escaped from the palace since she had wanted them to “roam free”, to help them locate this place where Zicterium was being kept. Cardia asked her whether she had intended to continue on with her plan involving terrorism, to which Victoria calmly replied that in order to let Britain continues to survive, she needed a war to break out right now, and claimed that for that to happen, she just need to a little bit of Zicterium and sacrifice. Obviously that “little bit” was actually alot of deaths and it greatly pissed Fran off when he saw how Victoria had belittled them.

Victoria once again explained on how Britain would be caught up in terms of technology in ten to twenty years, and how the other nations had hated them and would definitely trample on them when it comes to war by that time. Thus she wanted to get a head start on putting all the other nations under her control by declaring war now. Saint actually agreed with her, though it’s a half-agree, and told the Queen that she’s only looking at a part of nation when she thought up of her plan.

Victoria wasn’t glad to hear that her reasoning was very one-sided, determined that thinking from Britain’s standpoint was what she’s supposed to do. She then decided to reveal to Fran and the others that the facility they were at now was, in fact, a weapon itself, a device that could spread Zicterium across the entire country. In fact, this was what Victoria had been searching for a long time, and was determined that to start a world war right now, she had to activate the device and sacrifice the entire London, thus causing hatred among the people to fuel it.

(I don’t know why but I find it scary yet sad that Victoria could smile when she knew that she’s being a villain and was willing to carry out her plans at all cost...)

Cardia had found it scary that Victoria had spoken with so much confidence about her plan and was sure that it would succeed, even if she knew that she would die from this plan. For her, the plan would be even better if she was being sacrificed, and even calmly said that she had already made arrangements on the rest of her plans would proceed smoothly after her death. For Victoria, she doesn’t even plan to mourn on her own death and seems that she just wanted to bring an end to her duties as the Queen.

Fran didn’t care about what Victoria had said though, he didn’t believe in her logic, and didn’t want innocent people to be killed as part of the plan, to which Victoria expressed her envy to him that he was able to stand up for his own justice and wished she had the choice, slightly revealing her emotions that she didn’t want to take such a huge responsibility actually...

But, she soon changed the topic and told Fran that she knew what he had told Aleister was a bluff since she knew how to open the doors here, holding up the pendant that once belonged to Finis. (Finis had been gone for so long in this route that I almost forgot about his existence =w=“) Activating the pendant, she managed to open the doors, revealing a new and eerie path before them.

Victoria also revealed that she knew that Cardia needed Zicterium to cure herself and that if Cardia was to transform into a monster, even Zicterium won’t be able to cause any damage to her. Thus, she wanted to cooperate with her to help prevent Cardia to be transformed into a monster, though once everything is over here, she would have to be under the government’s protection, and became one of the Queen’s weapon. 

Cardia knew that she might get dissected by researchers, and would be taken advantage by Victoria to be used as a weapon if she had gone with her. But if she doesn’t, there’s a high chance that her own poison will end up destroying the whole of London and killing all of her friends, wondering what she should do at this point of time. But the Queen ended up giving them just two choices, surrender Cardia to them so only she gets to survive, or all of them would have to die together. Cardia refused to obey her, saying that it would be worthless if she’s the only one who gets to survive alone and wanted to stay with them until the very end.

Since Cardia had made her choice, Victoria decided that they shall all be killed and summoned her soldiers to fight them, while Leonhardt and she made their way down the path to where the Zicterium device was being kept. However, Fran told Cardia to go off together to where the Queen had gone since ultimately, he wanted to cure Cardia of her poison. Cardia was mad that Fran had intended for her to be the only survivor, but Fran sadly explained to her that though all this while he had intended to destroy Zicterium to run away from his crimes, he realised that Zicterium was required to save her and if he destroys it, he would also be destroying a future he wanted to have with her. Fran knew that the Queen’s plans will only generate more hatred and war in the future, so he still wants to stop her, while still saving Cardia at the same time. He isn’t going to give anything up and would try to attain both of his goals, thus, wanting Cardia not to give up on her life too and come with him 

(How can you say no to this face though >////<)

With Cardia agreeing to go with him, Lupin teased them for declaring their love for each other at such a moment and asked them to go ahead, since the rest of them had their back and will take care of things here.

(I just love these guys’ friendship with each other~ <3)

And thus, Fran and Cardia ran off, holding hands with each other, and Cardia thought that while others may think of Fran as a timid guy usually, she found him really assuring at this moment. (Awww~)

the mall didn't burn down entirely (like from the outside it looked fine). the ventilation system caught fire so it was more internal—ceilings and all that. covered things with soot(?) and ashes so the entire mall was closed for nearly 2 years. and hey, i've experienced a school fire too back when i was younger. i, too, thought it was nothing but a fire drill until i saw the charred remains of the buildings behind our school : D thankfully, no one died.

the new nct track is for a samsung commercial AHAHA it's funny because nearly everyone uses apple TT_TT and the mv screams neo culture tech tho (well as it should lmao). yes, i was talking about that part in hot sauce but yes, it grew on me too.

ateez really know how to do a performance. they put the standard so high for me when it came to performing. their facial expressions and overall stage presence just impresses me. it's been a while since i've seen idols draw me to them by those standards.

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!
