I really dislike it when I see posts where either the OP or someone else has said that…like….they’re blocking people who won’t reblog things, you’re a bad person if you don’t reblog, etc etc….just reblog-guilt-tripping.
I heard someone say once that it’s really triggering for people suffering from OCD, and as someone who used to struggle with it much more than I do now, I absolutely agree. But even aside from that- no. Nobody is a bad person if they don’t reblog something. People who are suffering with OCD might already have their own mind telling them that if they don’t pick up a pencil right now, they’re a horrible person- they don’t need outside voices telling them that too!*
I still think this applies to charity posts or things like that, but some posts are like…”reblog if you think pedophiles should die! If you don’t reblog you support pedophiles”, and “prove yourself” posts like that, and it’s like…for some people, Tumblr is an escape. Sure, yeah, we can all agree that pedophiles are horrible, but at this moment I don’t want to think about that, let alone make my followers think about that. No, our comfort isn’t more important than these things- but some people want spaces where they can think about other things for a bit. (I would like to clarify as much as possible that I truly despise pedophiles, I’ve just seen posts similar to this before so it’s what I decided to go with.)**
“Please reblog this!! This is really important!” or “reblog this if you can!” is GREAT! That’s awesome! But when you villainize people who don’t reblog posts, that’s just really crappy in my opinion.
This isn’t the biggest deal in the world, but it’s been on my mind.
*The pencil example is something I dealt with.
**I can’t stress enough that this was not at all meant to imply that we shouldn’t hate pedophiles- again, I’m just using the example of a post I’ve seen before.

ah, oof — i was the one who sent that ask asking you to elaborate on misandry, and i 100% agree with what you said, i just had never had it explained like that before and found it really useful. thank you for that! but i’m so sorry that it’s led to you getting so much hate, that’s really awful. sending hugs<33
definitely not a requirement (i know this site really hates people with moral ocd sometimes, i’m not letting this be one of those times too), but… maybe, do some of the followers of this blog wanna share something you like about it, or appreciate about it? i think op’s amazing for running it and it’s definitely one of my favourite blogs on this site; i’d love for them to hear these kind of sentiments instead of hate.
i’ll go first: i love the effort you put into sourcing posts; i have post dates enabled and some of your posts go back over a decade. with tumblr’s bad search function, i can’t imagine how much time and care you take to source those, but i love that you do that, since it reintroduces them into the ‘posting ecosystem’ so that more people can read the advice in them:)
Oh, I'm glad it helped! You're welcome. 💚 And that's so kind of you, thank you. I'm not unused to hate online (perks of being Black and many other things lol) but it does get kinda frustrating sometimes, so I appreciate that.
😭😭 Aww, this' so sweet. It is incredibly hard to find the older posts so its actually weirdly nice to know someone notices and appreciates that, ty, Anon. That'll make my week. 💚 💕
(As Anon said, no one has to do the compliment thing, I just really wanted to post this because its so kind of Anon and I really appreciated it and wanted them to know.)

Sincerely, thank you for basically having the same conversation I was having, parallel to me having it. I started to feel like I was going crazy--for a minute there I was half convinced that maybe I'd poorly worded something near the beginning that was causing her to react like it was opposite day with every other thing I said, so it was honestly kind of reassuring to see you reading her responses in the exact same way I was.
A friend who has been snooping on her interactions with both me and you just informed me that for the first time ever, someone has put my text under water on a post about how much lying I just did before sticking to my guns and blocking her, so it's been a weird night. Just wanted to thank you for indirectly reassuring me that my read on whatever the fuck she has going on was correct. I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she just wasn't understanding what feels like a pretty basic concept to me, but the more I interacted the more convinced I was that she was misunderstanding me on purpose. It is what it is, I guess!
I also was profoundly generous and it sucks that was wasted. I deleted my first reblog of her first reblog of your post because I have OCD brainworms that make me keep my blog and dash tidy and I wanted to respond to the other post More, but in that first response I was not argumentative at all and was completely coming down to her level. I only got a little more aggressive when I noticed her not responding to that but making the other post that seemed to go out of it's way to not have read what you were saying, and also, the transmedicalism!?* For someone who regularly gets accused of being a pickme, woo, wee, there's something that directly affects me specifically. And even then I still tried to pull back and deescalate, but making that post where she just casually for no reason drops that her abusive ex was transmasc made me fucking lose it.
*I actually talked that out with the OP, funnily enough, but emphasis on I reserve the right to be upset with people who reblogged it uncritically - one person miswording something is one thing, a vast number of people all rolling a Nat 1 on their reading comprehension check is another, if autocorrect makes you accidentally tweet that you hate waffles I'm going to guess that the people retweeting it do actually hate waffles, and Katra has had multiple chances now to clarify she doesn't believe positivity for non-medically transitioning people is good but just keeps saying that gender affirming care is lifesaving which it obviously but is not what's being discussed

How do you feel about episode 10?
Anon I hope you know I had no idea it was out yet and rushed to open it as soon as I saw this I AM IN SHAMBLES
Ok so as I was going through the op again remember this shot?
Tumblr media
A metaphorical barrier between Kazuki and Rei and Miri, which makes a LOT more sense now that we know Misaki is taking Miri back. The act of holding the frame symbolizes kazurei's efforts to give Miri the happy life she has now, but they are outside the frame while Miri is inside. They can look in, Miri can't look out. They can't touch or interact with each other anymore.
On to the actual episode lmfao can we talk about how Misaki made herself look so cool and motherly in the kitchen when it turns out she was just microwaving a convenience store meal in the microwave I laughed so hard.
Tumblr media
(Also Kazuki's line about there being nothing worse than somebody else messing around in your kitchen just solidified my ocd hc for him this man is sooo ocd adhd coded)
So this episode we learn that Misaki is about to die which, WOAH, was not expecting that. It adds a lot more gravity to the situation and is a believable motivation to take your daughter back. But, again, this does not mean she should be Miri's mother. Because once she grows up Miri will have to constantly be reminded of the fact that she was abandoned by her mom when she was 4. Kinda fucked up!
I do appreciate that Misaki is willing to spend the rest of her life dedicated to Miri, but, as Rei and Kazuki say, it's still just about her. She's only approaching Miri now because she's about to die and doesn't want any regrets before then. But Misaki is right too, their work is dangerous, and on top of that they're being actively targeted right now. The writers did a good job setting up the moral dilemma. The most important factor here though is Miri's happiness, which to her includes both her Papas and Mama so we'll see how that goes.
(That said, if Misaki does end up taking Miri back for good, isn't that cruel? To abandon your daughter, then take her back and properly care for her, while knowing you're just going to leave her alone again sooner rather than later.)
(Another interesting tidbit is Kazuki telling Misaki not to smoke. We know Rei has given up smoking, at least around Miri. Maybe a hint about who will be the best fit for Miri in the end?)
Then there's the family outing which was so adorable and chock full of references to past eps. Love this silent exchange between Kazuki and Rei what are you guys talking about up there let me into your heads...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND THIS SHOT WITH THE CHRISTMAS WREATH ABOVE THEM GRAHHHH the final ep is gonna be during Christmas and parallel Kazuki catching Miri in ep 1 I just know it.
Tumblr media
This dynamic where Kazuki is all too ready to give up on his happiness because he's already lost it before so many times versus Rei who doesn't want to accept it because *this* is his first happiness is juicy as hell and I'm gonna need all the fanartists and fic writers to step on it cause damn!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kazuki putting his scarf around Miri like the cat :( sobbing ueueue need the cat and Miri to return to them later. And as if this ep wasn't painful enough they really had Kazuki closing it on THIS goddamn line
Tumblr media
Like just shoot me in the head at this point it would hurt less.

the most deeply passionate gaze and a hateful loving mess. // fucked up billford 🕊️⚰️
Tumblr media
Bill loved Ford's loyalty, devotion, body, mind, and usefulness. He loved being important. He cared about being important. He never loved nor cared about Stanford himself. THIS POST IS JUST ME WRITING AND VENTING ABOUT THE MEANING OF MY OWN FANFIC!! :D TO READ THE FANFIC ITSELF, MAKE SURE TO GO TO MY AO3 (It's linked on my pinned post!). AND PLEASE READ THE TAGS. Art therapy saves lives! Blogpost TW: dead dove: do not eat, whump, noncon, suicidal thoughts, abuse mentions, OP has OCD and might mention it and/or its symptoms.
Tumblr media
fanfic pairing: bill x ford (billford) fanfic fandom: gravity falls fanfic kinks: guro/eroguro, asphyxiation, noncon where to read: crimsonClawzzz on ao3! ;)
Tumblr media
I'm suicidal.
Constant bad thoughts pass through my head every single day. Lighter ones, like not getting that annoying ass song out of my head. Darker ones, like the flashbacks of the terrible ways I got abused as a kid.
And then there's that one thought that's been present in my mind for the past few months. "If I die, will people suddenly start caring about me? Will people finally love me?"
I honestly don't think so. If one day I die, I'll probably end up hanging in the ceiling for a few days before someone notices. And will someone even notice? What will this person do? Pray for me? Mourn my death? Laugh? Use me like everyone else did when I was alive? That's how I got the idea for this fanfic.
Bill treats Ford like shit. He abuses, gaslights, tortures, and does so much stuff to the poor old man. Bill is a terrible guy. But could that terrible guy have any chance of demonstrating feelings towards the one who was hurt by him? YE-NO-YES-NONONO-Y-NO He's a lunatic. An insane mind with insane feelings. This fanfic presents Bill killing Ford, hanging him in the air, "loving" him in the most disturbing way possible, and proceeding to victim blame him. To victim blame his own victim. Because Bill wasn't, in fact, loving Ford. He's so twisted in his own feelings, so disturbingly desperate to regain the devotion of one of his ex-followers. Bill is so fucking egotistical that he thinks it is bad that Ford is reacting with disgust towards him and what he's doing. After all, he's such a caring Muse. He can't understand why Stanford is being so self-centered after everything Bill did to him, for him. After years and years of "love." Bill "loves" Ford when he's deceased because that's the only way they would ever share a "positive" interaction ever again. Stanford will never look at Bill with a passionate eye ever again, so he forces him to do it out of his will. And the truth is, Bill will never admit being wrong because he doesn't believe he's wrong. He genuinely thinks he's doing good and that Ford "just doesn't get it." Ford "is just ungrateful."
And that's how Bill Cipher "loved" Stanford Filbrick Pines when he died. Even if he didn't actually love him. That makes us go back to the first thing that I said at the beginning of this blog post:
Bill loved Ford's loyalty, devotion, body, mind, and usefulness. He loved being important. He cared about being important. He never loved nor cared about Stanford himself.
Now change the characters' names to IRL names, and you basically have the summary of my life! Anyways, I'm so glad I'm still alive. And I'm glad you are, too.
I don't have a catchphrase, so I'll just end this post by saying that if you're still here, thank you for reading this.
I hope you have a great day/night.

weighing in on the "discussing antisemitism" post, i think there are a few opportunities for clarification.
first of all, on nuance. i think, although can't say for certain, that op was not asking for nuance on "should nazis be punched/ousted/otherwise experience consequences of their actions" but more "should i personally literally punch a nazi in this situation and would it make things more or less safe for the people im trying to help". i say this because while i don't have moral ocd, i do have some similar (subclinical) anxieties and can say from experience that one of the hardest parts of dealing with them irl is sorting out figures of speech from literal imperative. i don't know that they were right to put the responsibility onto others' shoulders, but the discussion is being had now and what's done is done.
second, on bad faith. i don't think it's fair that jewish bloggers' replies are being treated as bad faith. there is a gray area between engaging in bad faith and failing to assume good faith from another. while im all for assuming good faith, it does put the burden on (in this case) jews to accept quite a bit of risk. it may feel low-stakes in an internet discussion, but it has tangible consequences in terms of the assumptions gentiles bring to irl situations. i would challenge genderkoolaid and the original asker to take on the risk of engaging with those replies on an assumption of good faith.
finally, on tagging. i agree with the various folks who have said that 'black and white thinking' is not constructive. i think in this case some variation on 'imperative' or 'imperative statement' or 'instruction' could be more constructive. it's not tagging for tone (and therefore doesn't run the same risk of tone policing). rather it communicates that 'there is a statement in this chain that could be interpreted as an imperative/instruction to take a specific action,' which does seem to be the original issue.
anyway i am jewish but im somewhat uncomfortable with sharing that because i don't want to be interpreted as an authority. im very much not and would ask that anyone reading this (whether it be genderkoolaid or the original asker or another tumblr user) to go back and sit with the jewish responses on the original post for a while (as well as any new ones on this ask, should it be published).
Thank you for your input.
I'm not gonna add on to this a lot but I think its good you pointed out the nuance thing, because I think that might be a miscommunication I missed? I also don't think she was asking for nuance about nazi-punching (like whether or not its good), but about the way people were talking about allyship (which, again, I don't think we need those statements to be written in a certain way to be listened to). Thank you for bringing that up, I'm sorry for missing that.

I said it before it'd be cool if Crash from Q3 had her own expansion/campaign as a modern Doom entry.
Just imagine her going through a journey like Doomguy did where she goes to the modern Doom universe and she gets her own set of weapons with their own weapon mods, her inventory items, movement/agility related abilities, power ups, even face different kinds of demons, bosses and level design challenges.
Maybe even her own Praetor suit even if she's still not in the same level as the Slayer.
Like an expansion with more content than TAG and almost like a "smaller" game (Maybe similar to Old Blood for Wolfenstein TNO).
And another excuse to add more new ideas to the Slayer games' formula.
And it got me thinking: She'd be from the same universe as the classic Doomguy.
So think of that, then also how the D64 re-release had new levels to adhere to the new lore.
Imagine if id made a "prequel" for Crash to tie into her Slayer game, by making it a classic Doom episode (Essentially, another official wad like Final Doom, NRFTL etc).
It could raise a lot of questions:
Custom HUD face: Would they give her a face or would she still use a helmet with a screen static effect?
Besides changing the hands to resemble hers instead of Doomguy, what else would the weapon sprites look like.
Would there be new MIDI tracks and textures for walls, flats and skies?
Would there be new enemies, even if tied to some limitations?
I can imagine some like a Hellhound that's just a smaller Pinky with less health and more speed or a Gargoyle that's just a mix of an Imp and Caco.
And even a "Plasma rifle zombie" but not sure if even Dehacked allows a new enemy to drop a different kind of gun besides the base Zombiemen.
Guess it depends on the most basic ideas for demons that existed in both Doom and fanmade content, like general ideas anyone could think of..
(Or even "backporting" enemies from later games into classic Doom but it'd probably work best with only some unless they made an official thing using GZDoom or a different engine for a "retro boomer shooter" type of project; And even what a certain demon would look like under a different art style etc)
Player sprites are another thing too, specially how you view them besides co-op/DM or ripping sprites from the fame. I always thought it'd be cool if a Doom game had a "gallery mode" to preserve concept art and even show off obscure/hidden details in some sprites or just off anything just to please the OCD part of my brain.
Either way, not only would Crash get her own classic Doom adventure, another thing is how it's available.
Besides the Unity port, imagine if Crash's campaign also had a HUB area like Fortress of Doom and she had her own computer she could play her megawad/TC in.
And if Doomguy had to type FLYNNTAGGART, i guess Crash would type ARLENESANDERS (But if id ever does this port idea again, i'd suggest/like to see STANBLAZKOWICZ and KIRAMORGAN next time).
And because Doomguy has access to his classic skin, imagine Crash also having an alt skin based off a classic female UAC armor (As in, her main skin being something Sentinel/Praetor related).
And of course, a Q3A inspired skin like QC has for Doomguy.
Basically, a set of ideas to establish her role in the Doom universe they present.
Maybe the same can apply to Phobos.
EDIT: I think i forgot the idea of her having her own toy pickup.
Imagine a Mighty Crash if you will.

5 minute read
When Ritchie Herron woke after gender reassignment surgery, he had a feeling he had made a terrible mistake.
Five years later, his scars still sometimes weep and he cannot walk long distances or ride a bike. “I’ve awakened from what was a mental health crisis, to a body that will be for ever changed and damaged,” he said. He no longer identifies as transgender and is living as a gay man “as best I can, given what has happened”.
Now, the Newcastle-based civil servant, 36, has launched legal action against NHS England, alongside the “heartbroken” father of a 21-year-old who has been booked in for imminent genital-removal surgery at an adult gender clinic. The two men are demanding a judicial review which includes an independent inquiry into the safety of NHS treatments being offered to young people under the age of 25 who are experiencing gender dysphoria.
Steve Barclay, secretary of state for health, and Kemi Badenoch, minister for equalities, as well as Dr Hilary Cass, who carried out a recent review of the Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service (Gids) are also being served with legal papers. The father is hoping to stop the surgery from going ahead.
In a crowdfunding appeal to raise funds for their legal case, launched today, Herron and the father, who wishes to remain anonymous, say that the model of care for gender dysphoria in the NHS adult service is “profoundly unsafe” and “routinely places young people on a pathway towards irreversible lifelong treatment”.
Both Herron and the father’s 21-year-old child have been diagnosed as autistic. According to lawyers representing the two men, the NHS may be discriminating against autistic people, who are disproportionately more likely to be treated in the gender clinics, which is why Badenoch, as minister for equalities, is included in the legal action.
The case comes as a large number of 17-year-olds who have been on the 8,000-strong waiting list of the Tavistock clinic in north London, England’s only NHS gender identity clinic for children, are being referred to the adult service.
At the seven NHS adult gender clinics in England and Wales, surgery and cross-sex hormones are offered after the age of 18. Patients have at least two assessment appointments with a specialist medical practitioner before hormone treatment is recommended, and those who are considering surgical treatment have two further meetings with separate clinical professionals before they are referred.
There has been a sharp rise in the past decade in young people wanting to change gender. From 2011-12 to 2021-22, the number of under-18s in England referred to the Tavistock soared from 210 to 3,585, according to its own figures.
Herron was 25 when he decided he was a woman living in a man’s body. He had been bullied at school and struggled to cope with his parents’ divorce, and was diagnosed in his early 20s with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
He decided he was transgender and “all my struggles were due to gender dysphoria” — an idea he says was encouraged by older activists in internet forums. He fixated on the idea that “my body was being poisoned by testosterone”, he says.
In 2013, he was referred by his GP to an NHS adult gender clinic, and says he was asked early on by an NHS clinician if he had considered gender reassignment surgery. He attended a private clinic as there was a long NHS waiting list, where he was diagnosed as transgender.
When he was seen by the NHS clinic in 2014, they prescribed testosterone blocker and later oestrogen. He also started therapy with an NHS psychosexual counsellor, which lasted for 100 sessions over five years, after which he was told he would be discharged and that the only other treatment open to him was surgery. He had delayed and cancelled the irreversible operation, which involves removing the penis and testicles and modelling the area to resemble female genitalia, several times over the previous two years, fearing the consequences.
In 2017, he was given another referral for surgery, to be performed at a private hospital but paid for by the NHS.
Finally, in 2018, “two days before my 31st birthday, I underwent a surgery that removed my genitals, inverting them in a procedure that has been marked as refined, but is no more civilised than an amputation” he said.
Today, despite multiple follow-up surgeries, my scar lines still weep, occasionally becoming inflamed and causing crippling pain. In the flesh cavity that was created to mimic a vagina, I feel mostly nothing, aside from the occasional stabs of pain. I can’t use the toilet properly . . . and no matter how hard I push or strain, a dribble emerges, which may continue for hours after I have left the seat.”
The father who, with Herron, is seeking a judicial review of the adult services, says he is terrified of the possible outcome for his child, who was born a boy and who is due to undergo genital surgery shortly. The young person “is on the autistic spectrum, suffers from anxiety and has very poor mental health”, according to the father. The father believes that, like Herron, they think “becoming a woman will solve so many of his problems”.
“I am one of the many parents who is heartbroken over the journey my son has taken,” said the father, who is paying towards the legal fees for the case. “I know he has been let down by the system and fear for his future.”
Aged 13, the boy, who had struggled at school, “out of the blue” told an NHS child mental health adviser that he believed he was a girl. “He was referred to an NHS clinic and was prescribed puberty blocking drugs to halt his development as soon as he turned 16. I was shocked that such an experimental treatment would be given, despite my objections. His anxiety and his autism were not explored.
“I decided to try to prevent him attending the NHS clinic but was threatened with the possibility of him being taken into care if I stood in his way.
“As a parent, I am deeply concerned to protect my son. I am shut out,” he said. “A system with such limited safeguards, providing a radical experimental treatment with life-long consequences is structurally unfair to people like my son, whose autism makes him more likely to seek the answer to his problems in this radical treatment. He needs more protection, not less.”
The men are being represented by the legal team that helped another de-transitioner, Keira Bell, win a High Court case against Gids to stop children with gender dysphoria being prescribed puberty-blocking drugs. Bell was given the drugs to stop her development aged 16, before later, at an adult clinic, being referred for a double mastectomy. The case was later overturned at the Court of Appeal but led to a critical review of Gids by Dr Hilary Cass. Gids has since been earmarked for closure, although this has been delayed until March 2024, about a year later than first planned.
Herron was not diagnosed with autism until this year, but says he raised the condition with the NHS gender clinic. He adds that if he had received a comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment for conditions such as autism and OCD at the outset, he would never have undergone genital surgery. “I can deal with my own regret, and my own stupidity, but I can’t deal with the fact that I’m not alone in this. That there are not just dozens, or hundreds, but thousands of others like me, and more to come.
“We deserve a safety net, we deserve to be challenged in our beliefs before we make irreversible decisions that have huge lifelong consequences, we deserve to be caught and cared for. We do not deserve to be punished for asking for help, by being castrated and gaslighted into a way of thinking that isn’t our own.
“It is a matter of urgency that the treatment offered by adult services is reviewed and that safeguards are put in place.”
A spokesman for NHS England said: “NHS England has received a pre-action judicial review challenge letter, which we will respond to accordingly.
“The NHS published service specifications for adult gender dysphoria services in 2019 following a three-month public consultation. The final version of the specifications were informed by advice from various UK medical bodies including royal colleges of medicine, health regulatory bodies and NHS Trusts.”
A spokesperson for the Government Equalities Office declined to comment on the case. This year, Badenoch tweeted: “let the tragic Tavistock scandal remind us always to stand up for the truth as we see it . . . no matter how inconvenient or impolite some may find the truth to be.”

I said if i won the round in @ultimate-poll-tournamentment I would share more Competiton lore and I didnt want to bother the op by relogging their post again so-yayy. Also I'll tag stuff like this as competition lore for people who dont want this stuff
( i dont have time to draw the game show host yet so i don't have that yet sorry :()
I saw a head cannon once that the winner of my main bracket, Death the kid from soul eater, might not even know he has OCD because its hard to know you have OCD while going though the soul eater tag once. SO ive had this idea in my head that after winning my poll AND @/OCD-swag- tournament he just, comes back after being crowned OCD character of all time and just asks "So- What is OCD..???" and everyone just stares at him. and its funnier in my head but dhjajsj
I think the game show host should have some sort of different dimension hopping powers if she can get all these different characters in the same room :)
The game show contestants do not know about the different dimension hopping thing they just think that's some of these people are really odd.
Half the contests don't even know how they got here actually- they just got here one day and now they are in a game show i guess
The host had to set a glitch into the Stanley Parable to make it so Stanley even knew about this thing to nominate the narrator :/

More Stanley Lore is I don't think this man has seen another person in like, however many years hes been in the parable, I think the first time he sees another person he will simply attach himself to that person. This leads to Mr. Stanley Parable and Zane Ro'meave from mystreet forming literally the most unlikely friendship ever, I think it would be funny

I’m having brain rot for my rvb mall au so have some notes and thoughts I have so far for the Grif sibs and Simmons. This is still very much in progress so some of this might change
I’m gonna make more of these for the other people too- but this whole au started Grimmons centric, so I’m starting there
Psst here’s the original post where I talk about this au
Grif:
He/they pronouns? Gay and poly
Owns a piercing/tattoo shop with his younger(?) sister
Is the tattoo artist at said shop
He’s kinda shy about his artistic abilities and down plays them a lot, but he’s been drawing since he was a kid and he’s really good at it
He’s also a good cook from having to cook so much for himself and Kai when they were growing up
Has overworked smart kid burnout syndrome but he tries to push through it since him and his sister own a shop together and he ends up handling a lot of the paperwork type stuff
The first year Grif and Kai had the shop Grif didn’t have the money to get Kai a birthday gift so he did a tattoo for her and they add onto it little by little every year
Has vitiligo and is originally from Hawaii
Maybe has OCD? Or is neurodivergent in some way? Possibly ADHD
Kai's the only one who gets to call him Dex, only friends get to call him Dexter. Some of the others sometimes call him Dexter, but Tucker's the only one who calls him Dexter more than Tucker calls him Grif
Dating Tucker maybe? And eventually gets with Simmons
I know I said this is Grimmons- and it is- but I’m curious about playing around with Grif x Tucker in this
Kai:
She/they pronouns (maybe neos too?) bi and poly
Owns the piercing/tattoo shop with older(?) brother
Is the piercer at said shop
She likes to play music in the shop and she’ll probably be dancing around to it while doing stuff like cleaning or restocking supplies
Is a pretty good cook, but she likes Grif’s cooking more
Is originally from Hawaii
Is colour blind (I need to double check some stuff about colour blindness, but I'm leaning towards protanopia?)
Probably has ADHD too
Probably has the combined type of ADHD (am I projecting my ADHD onto her? Maybe a little)
Probably has at least one matching tattoo with Grif that they designed together, maybe a saying that their mom used a lot when they were kids, or the first logo for their shop, or something related to Hawaii, I haven’t decided yet
Absolutely has a bunch of piercings
I haven’t decided what all piercings yet tho- probably at least her seconds on her lobes, stretched ears, an industrial bar, maybe spider bites? (I love spider bites so much you have no idea)
Dating tex
Simmons:
He/him trans guy. Gay or bi poly
Is the owner of the new flower shop in the area
Neurodivergent and has an interest in flowers, especially their meanings
Not great with words and expressing feelings so tends to do it through more- uncommon non-verbal ways? Like flowers and their meanings and gifts
Was in an accident as a kid so now has a prosthetic leg on one side, plus a lot of scaring
He hides his prosthetic and scaring a lot and is super self conscious about it
Pre-op when the story starts, but he’s on the waiting list for top surgery
Part way through the story he gets his top surgery, but since Simmons cut contact with his family, Grif and some of the others help with his recovery
It started as Simmons just asking if someone could check on his shop while he’s gone but evolved into people insisting on running his shop for him so he doesn’t end up super tight on money from having his shop closed for however long his recovery takes
Grif stays with Simmons for a few days, he was originally only supposed to be Simmons’ ride to and from the surgery but at one point while talking with the doctor or nurses about the recovery and post-surgery care it gets brought up who was gonna be at Simmons’ place with him to help him out. The doctor/nurses thought it was gonna be Grif, and Grif just responds with “well it is now I guess”
Whoever Grif was talking to was concerned that this wasn’t already figured out-
But it worked out in the end so oh well
Some fruity stuff happens while Grif stays with Simmons to help him with the recovery
Maybe a little bit of “oh no, he has to spend the night and there’s only one bed!”, who knows /hj
Eventually gets with Grif

Antis influence people with OCD over anything by making them feel like they’re evil for shipping something “weird” and saying they’re a predator if they don’t reblog xyz
Yeah I know. The post I made was about how OP said proshippers encourage people with OCD to act out their intrusive thoughts which is the most insane thing I've ever heard as someone who actually has OCD

I was looking back through a neuro-psych test from when I was 17 and the tester mentioned in the written section that she thought I was "clinically significant" for ocd and then she... just didn't give me the diagnosis. (She was really stuck on "non-verbal learning disability" which isn't even a thing and I resent her wasting space on that.)
There's also just the fact that most of the things that feel like more obvious rituals now weren't things I thought to bring up in therapy basically ever. Either because I was embarrassed about them or I didn't really think of them when I wasn't doing them.
And then of course the fact I didn't know the term intrusive thoughts as a teenager and doing my best to explain it meant that I said I was hearing voices. (Which got me diagnosed with psychosis I don't even have.)
And I'm bringing all of this up because I can only speak from personal experience, but on top of seeing a lot of what op is describing from others, I've also seen multiple ways that even someone who has been in therapy for decades and who is legally disabled by their mental illness can still not be diagnosed despite alleged clinical significance.
i genuinely think ocd is incredibly underdiagnosed bc i will see people posting what are obvious rituals, compulsions, intrusive thoughts, spiralling, hyper morality, etc and its like Have You Considered This Might Be An Issue

Do you have any Negan headcannons?
I've never really done one of these before but I'll wrote some things that I think are headcanons for me. I’m sure I could come up with a shit ton more, but this is the best I’ve got for now. My brain said it’s done.
Tumblr media
Normal Headcanons
Negan loves to be cuddled at night when he sleeps.
Negan has a soft spot for troubled children and teens that are looking for father figures in their lives and acts like a father figure for them.
Negan coached multiple sports teams at his school and was always very proud of his teams.
Negan is a bit ocd with keeping up his appearance and the way he looked. That's why his clothes were always clean at the Sanctuary and why he always looked so nicely put together. Not only was he proud of his look/being clean, but he hates being dirty.
Because of how he was prisoned for so many years, he just likes to be touched in general. Nothing sexual, it just comforts him when someone touches him in a kind manner.
Negan desperately has always wanted children, specifically a daughter but would be ecstatic either way.
Negan has nightmares every night about his past and has a really hard time sleeping.
Negan can find himself attracted to anyone, especially if the person is a strong willed and a badass. Whether they are male or female, etc.
Negan is actually very smart, but often hides it behind his smart ass façade and doesn't really allow people to know that.
Negan is desperate for people to like him in general because he's a very lonely person.
Negan is cocky, but deep down he's very self depreciating and hates the person that he is.
Before he was prisoned, Negan had a picture of Lucille that he would either carry in his pocket or put in the drawer of his nightstand at The Sanctuary.
Negan and Lucille tried very hard to have children and it likely resulted in a miscarriage but it never stopped them from trying.
Negan loves being in relationships with people who are strong and can put him in his place.
Negan found comfort and happiness in cooking. He was proud of his cooking and liked to learn new things. Which ultimately meant he had loads of cookbooks.
Negan was lonely which is why he liked to play Co-op video games. It was one of the only ways for him to have interaction with people.
Negan didn't have a good relationship with his father. Likely his father was abusive to him and his mother. Negan was very protective and close to his mother.
Negan had a passion for muscle cars and motorcycles before the apocalypse.
A way for Negan to show his love was to get a tattoo.
Negan had a promising future as a baseball player but got an injury that was likely his own fault out of arrogance and he ruined everything. He  gave up instead of fighting hard to make it back.
Lucille was his high school sweetheart and even though they had a rocky relationship, she was his first love.
Negan is an amazing tracker and knows how to use the stars to find out where he needs to go.
Negan is extremely perceptive and good at reading people, which is why he's so good at getting under people's skin.
Negan is incredibly good at sculpting things after his being locked up.
Negan is naturally gifted in a lot of things, especially sports.
Negan desperately wanted a dog his whole life which is why he tried to save strays as a kid. He wanted one when he was married to Lucille but she was likely allergic.
Negan likes to sing. He's not very good at it, but when he loves someone he likes to sing to them.
After losing all the weight he did, Negan gets nervous taking his clothes off in front of people worried that they will judge him for being skinny.
Naughty Headcanons
Negan likes to be dominant in the bedroom sometimes, but also gets really excited when someone has their way with him and is forceful with him.
Even though Negan likes to occasionally be rough, he actually likes the passionate kind of sex where him and his lover are close and connect on a personal level.
Negan has a habit of grabbing someone's throat when kissing them and pinning their wrists to the bed when he's over them.
Negan prefers to pamper his lover first to get them built up and feeling like the center of his universe.
Negan likes to drag things out and not rush. He wants to experience everything.
Negan always wants his lover to come first or at least multiple times.
Negan has a praise kink.
Negan likes to be called daddy.

I absolutely love you for being one of those people who say
Spoon >> Plutus
After the extreme backlash from fans, most of them threatening to stop reading the manhwa as it deviates from the novel plot, I was starting to think of myself as dumb for preferring the manhwa as in preferring the characters receiving actual character development, the various potential relationships being explored and developed and for making things head for a resolution.
Like I was genuinely befuddled when people were bashing the jennette-anastacius arc, they said that it was a waste of time and space, a filler and it robbed them of what they came for which was fluffy father-daughter things bw claude and athy. When I on the contrary was about to drop the entire thing until they dropped in the jennette anas arc. Like after reading till season 1, which stuck to the novel and reading the entire novel while the early chapters of season 2 were being released and getting the spoiler, I had lost my interest in the whole thing.
Then they dropped Jetty-Anas arc and I can't explain but it did something to me, it held a certain appeal. Maybe it appealed to me more as a genuine father-daughter relationship than Claude-athy which felt somewhat forced. I actually waited for the jetty-Anas episodes for the very same.
Then they diverted away from Ana being that totally evil/black character from the novel, a charcater who may have affected Claude's life in a huge way but isn't present and had a distance from claude. The novel followed the same pattern with Diana. Both of these people being the most important in Claude's life, making him who he is, dominating his mind and the reason behind his actions and never being there at all. The very one-sided nature of the thing made it so pointless. And diverting from that was the wisest thing one could've done.
Like in the novel all the characters were just some trope. Jennette the second FL trope. Ezekiel the second ML trope, claude the hot yet cold and stern dad trope, Lucas that op bad boy main ML trope, Roger the shady opportunist noble trope, lily that caring nanny trope, Felix that nice redhead trope or the-only-dude-who's-nice-to-mc-in-the-palace trope, diana the Disney dead mom trope. And idk but that was the reason why I dropped the novel in the first place. Because we find all this in basically every other isekai shoujo manhwa.
Spoon actually broke all this. And instead of choosing another unrealistic alternative to replace these tropes she actually decided to explore these very storylines realistically.
I will never forget how she turned this story from a clichéd romantic story(like the novel) to a story about actual and different types relationships.
And in that process she actually succeeded in making us treat these characters as real people -
Jetty as nothing more than the victim she is.
That one panel about lp Ezekiel and athy that made the two characters more developed and their love story more tragic than claudiana's.
Ana actually being a complex human being rather than a straight out sociopathic and nasty prince. At tines he feels a better father, adult and person than claude, despite his reckless decisions screaming otherwise.
Felix and lily actually having their own characteristics and relationships aka actually having their own damn life and fam apart from being royal caretakers. Lily actually having more to her personality than just being caring and loving. She feels like an introverted booknerd who has an ocd for perfection, lol. And I suspect her to be one good fighter, she would totally turn anyone to pulp should she want to, dunno how but she feels that way.
Realistically portraying roger as a snakey, shady noble. Spoon really said that what does anyone expect from an normal ambitious person born into the dirty intrigues and machinations of nobility. Like he is how anyone with a brain functions in nobility. And pinpointed to us that obviously he is one of the least constipated adult men because he isn't actively part of the royal drama. Obvio he will love better.
I will choose manhwa Diana any day over novel Diana and I will die on this hill. Chap 100 did it for me. She actually comes off as a mother in the manhwa, a person who's not an unrealistic fantasy like her novel counterpart. And no matter how much the novel tried, it could never sell her off as a mother to me and her one dimesional sugary-sweet, flowery ethereal aspect kinda earned a literal meh from me, she came off as a nice but immature teen who recklessly yet stubbornly took decisions lacking far-sightedness and others had to face the consequences of her actions. In the manhwa Spoon actually made all those things a part of Claude's fantasy about Diana, he saw her that way. Because in chap 100( that golden chap) that fantasy gets shattered when she came off as a strong, mature, responsible person who unable to exist in her physical form, keeps on working and ig plotting to ensure the survival of her family and loved ones. The fact that she was always there working to no end, ensuring her partner and child's safety, regardless of her shortcomings kinda breaks her characterization from being restricted to a beautiful young and happy lover to establishing her as a beautiful, stylish, strong, protective, mature and responsible mother lioness (it's the lioness who hunts and feeds and takes care of the pack, not the lion that lazes around and I stan those type of female characters)
Making Penelope a complex character. Despite her limited appearance through other people's stories and recollections, she feels more than just a gold digger. She seems to be more complex than claude or ana.
Lucas actually is on a path to self-improvement no matter how slowly. In the novel he may have cried and shown more emotional sides of him to athy but he stays a jerk at the core, and as is mandatory the bad boy always wins the girl over the well behaved one. That changes in the manhwa, he seems to have more realistic characterization of a traumatized(thus the narcissism as a shield) and shut off person with realistic idiosyncrasies and cognizance. He isn't just a bad boy for the sake of being one. And he breaks masculine stereotypes. Bisexual culture loves him, unlike his novel counterpart.
That kickass blonde lady who makes an appearance alongside duke Alpheus and nobles. I suspect she is the sole master of her propert and I'm sold.
Claude's character development in the manhwa is different from that in the novel and I personally go for the alternative chosen by the manhwa.
One of the best things I love about the manhwa is it's treatment of it's females, it does away with the misogyny that is so common in the isekai shoujo manhwa tropes. Whoever is writing for the manhwa knows their art.
Manhwa>>>>>>Novel.
Changing Ana from a sociopathic prince to someone morally grey, including a healthy female friendship and leaving the romance open ended instead of shoving it down our throats was the best decision spoon ever made.
Making Felix, Lily, Diana & Penelope more complex however...I don't see it that way. Felix is still the redheaded knight trope and Lily the devoted maid trope. Penelope apologized to Claude too in the novels if I remember correctly she even said she loved Claude (not sure how she meant it and if it was the truth or not. Probably not.) and Claude never fully resented her but saw her as just another victim of Anastacius. Novel Diana also had a strong side to her (She threw a vase or something at her father when he insulted her).
