Hello!!💗 How are you? Hope you are doing just fine. Sooo i don't really know how your ships work so i am sorry if i made you uncomfortable and if the request's are closed then you can always just delete it i wouldn't mind. Also i apologize if this is too long and for any spelling mistakes english is not my first langauge.
• I am a russian female, my height is about 1.61 cm, weight about 51 kg, brown curly/wavy medium kinda hair, big brown eyes with long and thick lashes (people say that they can see planets in them which is very weird because idk), i have a griffin tattoo on the botton side of my left leg and as much as my figure is very feminine i work out so i pack some mucles and a six pack. Usually my skin is very pale and snowy but in the summer it turns into a honey like toned skin and i have a few beauty marks.
• I am an istp, usually people don't come and talk to me because i always look like i would kill someone (and i would) but in the end i just really care about the people i love. Very very shy and polite around people and strangers but i get very extravorted around people that i am comfotable with. I have a very hard time judging people and i am always able to understed their side of the story and how they feel even if i didn't went through the same thing they did. I can read people's mood just by looking into their eyes most of the time. Very very dark sense of humor for no reason (and a very broken one too). I perefer to listen then talk because it makes me happy that people trust me enough to tell me random/deep stuff about themselves.
• I really love video games and P.S (mostly fighting games like tekken or god of war), used to play a piano, i draw quit a lot (mostly people and it's just sketching), sing, very good at sports, used to pole dance, and i have some experiense with judo and thai boxing (fights and breaking people's bones but we don't talk about that), if i watch tv it's just national geografic wild/HD, i absolutely love reading books and watching movies (mostly action and comedy sometimes horror too).
• I don't like being controlled and forced to either do something or choose between something. I would rather stay at home but if the person i care about would want to go outside i can't say no because as long as i am with them i am happy. I have like only two friends other then my cat and barley talk to one of them though my social battery is very low and i like to be alone when theres an opportunity most of the time.
• I speak 8 langauges, absolutely love animals but cats are my favorite, i have never being babied before and prefer to take care of others, theres like 5% chance i will find someone unattractive, another reason why i don't talk to people anymore is because i am afraid they will use me because i was being nice to them. I had horrible depression for almost 4 years when i was 11/10 and no one catched up on that until a phone call with a teacher that i had, alot of nightmeres and illusions, i harmed myself too (still have scars) everyday and had to take a pill and go to a therapist but now i am okay and happy (but still never felt genuine happines). I have a habbit of playing with a ring on my finger that i always wear, already at a young age i was very independet (5 or 6 years old maybe) already knew how to cook and do house chores and i didn't grow up with the most normal family i was mostly a daddies girl never had a mother figure (we were strangers living under the same roof) and an 8 years older sister who always pushed me away until she begin dating her now husbend and i have a baby nephew.
• I have all the love langauges but the biggest two are quality time and physical touch.
Again i apologize if it's too long, made you uncomfortable and for spelling mistakes.
I really love your writing's but don't forget to take care of yourself and i hope you will have a good day/night!!~💕💗💞
i ship you with…
jisung!
your intimidating aura shook something inside of him. he would immediately need to know more about you and would be willing to do anything to get your attention.
he found it adorable how similar you actually were to him. both of you would be shy around eachother, only to gradually become louder until the two of you were always a giggling, fun mess together.
jisung would love nothing more than to spend his days by your side, tracing your tattoo in awe as he talked about absolutely anything that came to his mind.
but nothing sold him more than the fact that you both loved to watch national geographic, always down to binge episodes over a bowl of popcorn and cuddles.
he would love to help you relive the inner child experiences that you never had. if jisung is good at anything, it’s making others feel safe and loved.
yandere jisung
you enjoy being alone most of the time? say goodbye to that. you wouldn’t be able to pry the boy off of you, no matter how strong you are.
the only person you would have to deal with is jisung however, since he would be happy to do anything in order to stay home with you all day and all night with you and your cats.
he is absolutely enthralled with all of your hobbies and talents. video games? he would love to play with you, but he was also content with simply laying on your lap and watching the game. your sketches? they’re all hidden in a drawer for him to look through. singing? he would beg to hear you, to sing along with you, anything— but only he was allowed to hear your angelic voice.
but be careful talking about your experiences and family— all it takes is a mention that you dislike someone and jisung will immediately have them taken care of. learning about your past has only made him more possessive and protective over you, and he’s willing to do absolutely anything to make sure that nobody hurts you ever again.
#please don’t ever apologize for making your request long#all it does is make your response longer because you give me more to work with#skz#stray kids#ship requests#stray kids ships#skz ships

My PC was built top-of-the-line for gaming in 2014. If my PC can't run your game on low graphics -and- stream it to Twitch, your game sucks. If I can't play your game on low period, it's trash.
And it's not because I can't play it.
It's because thats how I know the company/person who made it prioritized graphics to hide it's lack of gameplay. If I turn the graphics to potato mode and that kills the enjoyment, you have an issue. That's a bad game.
The most acclaimed titles ever released, not the official ratings, the player reviews, the Steam ratings, are by far the titles with low graphics, because the devs focussed on gameplay.
The gaming development industry has a big problem and it's 100% greed. It's corporations and company heads thinking more about profit than playable content, and middle-class gamers spending 2 to 5k on gaming rigs and acting like their LED strip-lighting, RGB fans, and excessively overpriced and un-needed custom watercooling loop is the dick-waving equivalent of the custom car they want but can't afford the stock model for. There's no desire to make good, fun, playable games. It's all about squeezing as much money as possible from the dwindling middle-class gamers with the 2 to 5k rigs through micro-transactions and paid 'DLC' that should have been base game content at release. Every big name video game streamer or youtuber playing a companies game on the highest graphics, streaming or uploading at HD to 4k is free advertising. They only cater to the 1-10% that can play the game because those are the ones willing to foot an outrageous $80 pricetag for a lack-luster experience. And on the rare occasion a gem of gameplay gets created, the corporate/company heads looking entirely at a profit graph don't care about having the game open up to a wider market because they can spend less investing in a new project to make another fancier graph for their investors to smile at about how much money they just made. It's not about longevity profits and long-term investments, it's about immediate returns. And this absolutely is the same for the PC parts and laptop industry. It's immediately more profitable to cut out lower-class gamers from upgrading or updating to gouge wealthier gamers for parts, than it is to allow college students on student loans, or working class people making less than 100k a year to afford steadily upgrading over time.
"The Guy" with the 2GB Ram and rural internet connection is actually the high bar of standards that the so called "tripple A" gaming industry currently fails to meet. It's EASY to make a game that only runs on 1% of all personal computers. It's MUCH HARDER to make a game that runs on 40-50%. And the payoff is slower and spread out over time. The profits are greater, but it doesn't look as good on a scrunched by-month yearly graph. This is why the indie games market, smaller dev teams, manage this pretty consistently. Good games make a lot of profit over time, especially when they're affordable to the lower class.
So, to be frank, no, your thousands of dollars gaming PC doesn't make you more important and your opinion matter more. Your thousands of dollars gaming PC and open checkbook is driving down game quality and restricting accessibility because graph spikes look financially better to greedy investors than ascending curves. You're funding the problem.
I'm going to play all my streams on potato mode instead of trying to play them on the best graphics possible from this point on to prove this point. When the graphics suck, is it still playable? Is it still fun? Is the story still good?
My solution for bloatware is this: by law you should hire in every programming team someone who is Like, A Guy who has a crappy laptop with 4GB and an integrated graphics card, no scratch that, 2 GB of RAM, and a rural internet connection. And every time someone in your team proposes to add shit like NPCs with visible pores or ray tracing or all the bloatware that Windows, Adobe, etc. are doing now, they have to come back and try your project in the Guy's laptop and answer to him. He is allowed to insult you and humilliate you if it doesn't work in his laptop, and you should by law apologize and optimize it for him. If you try to put any kind of DRM or permanent internet connection, he is legally allowed to shoot you.
With about 5 or 10 years of that, we will fix the world.

Reshaping Resolution: iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer and the Legal Tightrope Act
When you think about the leap from a pixelated video to a crystal-clear 4K masterpiece, what comes to mind? Magic? Black art? The work of a video wizard? In truth, it's the clever craftsmanship of tools like iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer. But hold on, before you press "boost" and enter the world of pristine visuals, there's a maze of legal considerations that we often sweep under the digital carpet. Let's thread the needle between the technical marvel and the legal tapestry that wraps around it.
Imagine this: you have a precious video memory, grainy and distorted, a snippet of the past that you wish you could relive in vivid detail. Enter iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer, a tool so sophisticated it can transform your low-quality clips into high-resolution wonders. It's like stepping into a time machine for your footage, emerging with clarity you never thought possible. But let's hit the brakes for a second. Have you ever paused to ponder the legality of such a change?
Copyright law is a beast with many heads, and in the realm of video enhancement, it rears its head more than you might expect. When you upscale a video using a Video Quality Enhancer, you're not just making it prettier; you're creating a new derivative work. And that's where the plot thickens. What if the original video isn't yours to modify? What if it includes music, images, or footage that you don't own? Suddenly, that simple enhancement becomes a complicated dance with copyright regulations.
Now, I'm not saying that iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer is walking a tightrope without a net. Far from it. The developers havely crafted their AI to guide these legal waters as best as it can. But it's a question of degrees. While the software can avoid direct copyright infringement by not using protected content in its training data, the moment you use it to upscale someone else's content, you're stepping into a gray area that needs careful consideration.
Consider this: should iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer be held accountable for how users apply it? Is it the tool or the craftsman who wields it that crosses the legal line? After all, a hammer can build a house or break a window. The tool itself is neutral, but the intent and usage can land you in hot water.
What's more, the format change aspect of video enhancement isn't just a legal minefield—it's a technical marvel that comes with its own set of challenges. The process of upscaling a video from, say, 480p to 4K, involves intricate algorithms that guess what the missing pixels should look like. It's impressive when done correctly, but what happens when the tool guesses wrong? Do we have a legal obligation to the authenticity of the original content, or is the enhanced version simply an artistic interpretation?
Let's talk turkey. If you're using iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer to breathe new life into your personal memories, the risk is yours to bear. But what if you're a content creator, and you're enhancing videos for public consumption? Suddenly, you're not just playing with your own history; you're potentially dealing with the copyrighted work of others. Is it ethical to boost and redistribute without permission? And if you do obtain consent, does the act of enhancement change the nature of the original agreement?
I'm painting a doom-and-gloom picture, but it's not all bad news. There are nuances here, too. If your intention is to boost and preserve historical or cultural artifacts, for example, there might be a legal exception. The moral of the story is to proceed with caution and to understand that with great power comes great responsibility—yes, even in video enhancement.
So, next time you fire up iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer or any other AI-powered video tool, take a moment to consider the implications. It's not just about turning SD into HD; it's about acknowledging the complexities of copyright law, the ethics of format change, and the impact of your actions in the digital landscape.
Is the clarity of your video worth a legal battle? That's a question each of us must answer before hitting "start" on the enhancement process. The digital world may be borderless, but the laws that govern it are very much grounded in reality. And as technology advances, so must our understanding of the rules that guide it.

the bonanza dvds have so many cool special features and the episodes are super hd but the actual dvds seem to be disappointingly low quality
this disc started skipping/freezing literally the second time I put it in, it has at least two fantastic episodes I can't bear to lose, I've been as careful as I possibly could haven't let anyone else touch the discs (except parents who are also trustworthy adults), these were expensive enough I don't know if replacing one that breaks would be feasible please I hate this you'd think a classic masterpiece would be easier to find what do I do

Select the best Gaming Laptop with Amazing Features
Finding the right gaming laptop is sometimes like finding that treasure hidden away. There is so much out there. How do you know which is right for you? Don't worry. At Geek's Kart, we have a passion for gaming. In this blog, you dive into exactly what makes the best gaming laptopstand out and how to choose the perfect one for your needs.
What to Look For in a Gaming Laptop
1. Graphics Card (GPU)
A graphics card is the heart of a gaming laptop. It takes care of all the visual elements in your games. It is advisable to look for laptops with dedicated GPUs like NVIDIA GeForce RTX or AMD Radeon. These cards can do battle with modern games with ease, offering great graphics and smooth gameplay.
2. Processor (CPU)
A strong processor is also a must for gaming. Depending on what you will be doing in your games number of things that you can run at the time it takes for the games to load whatever, it's all going to be determined by the CPU. For the CPU, consider an Intel Core i5 or i7, or look into AMD's Ryzen 5 or 7. That processor should give you a well-running, efficient performance in most of your games.
3. RAM
RAM affects multitasking. For gaming, 16GB of RAM is the sweet spot. This means your laptop can load up streams, play games without lagging, and do a thousand other things simultaneously. In case money's not a problem, do 32GB just for future-proofing your rig.
4. Storage Options
Storage is very important, because it depicts how quickly you can load games and applications. An SSD is much faster than its HDD counterparts. A laptop with at least 512GB SSD provides many storage options for games while ensuring fast load times. Some even have dual storage, SSD + HDD.
5. Display Quality
All of it happens on the display. Make sure it's at least Full HD resolution to 1920 x 1080. The more refresh rates, like 144Hz, the smoother gameplay will be, and a whole difference when you play fast-paced games. Anti-glare screens are advantageous, mostly if you'll play in brighter environments.
6. Battery Life
Unfortunately, with gaming laptops, the battery life of these devices is extremely short. But some models last longer than others. If you need a laptop for daily use, look for something lasting at least 5-6 hours on a full charge. Remember that if you play extremely intensive games, the battery will be blown out quickly, so take the charger with you.
7. Cooling System
A good cooling system is indispensable because the game generates heat. Look out for laptops with multiple cooling fans as well as heat pipes. In this way, if the gaming session is long, the performance won't deviate. Overheating might throttle performance, which brings about a low-quality experience.
Best Gaming Laptops on Offer
1. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14
This thin laptop packs a punch, powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. The 14-inch QHD display offers vibrant visuals and smooth gameplay thanks to a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life is pretty decent for a gaming laptop so it can keep up at home or away.
2. Dell G5 15
The Dell G5 is a great mid-range option. It's outfitted with the Intel 10th Gen i5 processor and comes with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650. It also features a bright, full, high-definition 15.6-inch display, as well as a laptop body known for great build quality. It also carries good cooling for keeping those temperatures under check while gaming marathons.
3. Acer Predator Helios 300
Acer's Predator series is well known already in the gaming circle. The first thing, it comes with a powerful Intel i7 processor along with NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics. With its 144Hz refresh rate and great cooling system, it would prove itself to be perfect for competitive gamers. Moreover, it boasts a keyboard that illuminates in customisable RGB lights with which almost every gamer can play along with their gaming setup.
4. HP Omen 15
HP Omen is all about balance between performance and aesthetics. The Omen 15 features a Zen AMD Ryzen 7, and it comes along with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. The display is mesmerising, with colourful and deep contrasts. Its sleek design makes it an excellent choice for every gamer's arsenal.
Conclusion
It just seems that achieving a balance between performance, features, and budget seems to be the case when choosing the best gaming laptop. You can thus get the right laptop to play games through careful consideration of determinants such as graphics, processor, and even display quality. Check what Geek's Kart has for you and take your gaming into a new dimension today.

okay so puffy talked abt the general lore of the dsmp being kinda on a stand still due to several factors, and she mentioned how she wants to take tubbos advice and just log on and see what happens while she plays and I have OPINIONS ON THIS.
AND THIS IS NO NEG TO ANYONE
Okay so basically, yes. It is seriously and very very important for the ccs to have fun with the lore, and to not be too focused on it, as the dsmp is also supposed to be a server of friends having fun and these moments especially are important for character building as you cannot built a character entirely on tragedy. we need the highs to appreciate the lows and the ccs doing their characters highs through streams on the dsmp where they have fun and are mostly themselves is the best way to do it in this media.
but I think some ppl on the dsmp may have gotten the issue that they made it hard for themselves to get and stay in character. not because of the quality of their acting, dear lord no, but because of the expectations. It feels like theres this... direct weird on and off switch for some creators in regards to lore. either they have to be serious and act in character or they get to be silly and out of character, but that's just not true.
the reason the dsmp is great is because the ccs can be silly and stupid but we still know these actions are apart of their character. our expectations aren't the 4k HD mods and shaders pre recorded lore videos (even if i love these too), our expectations are in character consistency and already existing plot points getting resolved at SOME point.
yes to all of this. while the circumstances are more difficult this season because the characters are supposed to be on high-alert and worried about a serial killer on the loose with the added issue of that storyline not progressing for months now, it doesn't mean that the CCs can't have fun on the server.
but its stuff like disregarding your character's development and previous lore for the sake of content thats really driving season 4 to the shitter.
like you can have fun on the server, no one's saying you can't. like if want to just come onto the server with ur friends to hang out and do stupid shit, then great! if you don't want it to be considered lore, then fine! but if you are going to fuck around on the server AND call it lore (or very obviously make it lore), then we would like some character and story consistency 😭 else what even is the point of following the story if the CCs don't care to keep it consistent.
season 1, 2, and hell even most of the active parts of season 3 did a GREAT job of - letting CCs fuck around on the server without major story implications or disregarding the pre-established story.
and mid-to-late season 1 did the BEST at having characters do collaborative light-hearted character-building streams. because like you mentioned, that too is very important for a story.

i think they announce it because they want attention/to feel important, first and foremost, but also because they're running out of "gamer groups" to watch. rt has made a genuine effort to be inclusive in recent years but they're not the only ones and i think some of the more conservative fans have realized that many of the other non-rt-affiliated groups also have a ky or a fiona or a lindsay, or an alfredo, or a mica, so to speak.
and in a really horrific way, i can see why they announce the fact that they're leaving, because it's the only path forwards to them. they don't want to actually stop watching rt and look for other people to watch, but they also don't want to watch fiona/ky/lindsay/whoever.
i went OFF in this post and it's so long so i'm gonna readmore this shit because i rambled
well yeah for some people it's that but i also think a big part of it is a lot of fans - ESPECIALLY people with first memberships - think they are entitled to tell RTAH and affiliates what direction to go with content, and get infuriated when the content isn't what they specifically want. it's funny to me in a way because i don't know how someone can be so self centered that they don't understand that this production company does not create content specifically for them, but for themselves and anyone who may happen to enjoy that content, and that a handful of people whining on reddit isn't going to make them go back to how videos were made in 2013.
it's almost always "golden era" people as well, because they can't accept that the company has grown and changed over the years and is continuing to do so and you have to either grow and change with it or find something else to watch.
imo these are also the people who don't understand how vital the post team is to AH specifically and how much work goes into editing and posting the content.
i see a lot of people complaining about the streams and how they don't like them or they hate watching the VODs because they aren't HD quality and it's so bizarre to me like if that is all you have to complain about in your life really get a reality check. i don't watch the streams either usually because i'm busy at that time of the day or i just don't care to - but i'll watch the VOD if it's a game i particularly like or am interested in and never once has the thought "wow this is so low quality its unwatchable" ever crossed my mind. but also, if they make content i don't wanna watch that's fine????? as a fan who has been around since 2013 i have NEVER been someone who watches every AH video. a lot of the games i don't find interesting or i don't have the time. i still don't watch TTT because i just don't like it. but i've never been like ugh they should stop making TTT and do something else. they love playing TTT and a lot of people enjoy those videos. i just don't watch them? it's so simple idk man i just wish some people had some fucking sense.

sarah can you recommend a really emotional movie for me? i don't care what kind, i am just having a day where i feel like a good cry if you understand...
hi anon, i can tell you i’ve never cried more at a film and perhaps ever in my life than watching my love don’t cross that river. if you’re not familiar with the doc, it’s about a couple who has been married for 76 years and the husband’s health decline. it’s available in low quality with english subtitles on youtube, or you can watch it in hd on kanopy if you’re a student. it’s…seriously brutal…
#when i saw it in theatres i had to take off my glasses in order to stop reading the subtitles bc i was essentially sobbing in the cinema#i know not everyone is as easily manipulated as me but the entire room was an absolute mess it was wild#a

America (the U.S.) does not have the ~highest~ wages around the world, especially not regarding the jobs that your common fandom person may have. The (allegedly oh-so ~high~) social/healthcare taxes get drawn from our wages BEFORE we get them, so the (not that inconsiderable) amount that we DO get, is not touched by any more taxes (unless you're a freelancer, which more or less makes you an entrepeneur, so you have to do your taxes yourself, and even then they're not that high).
Also, our healthcare/social taxes actually make sure that we DON'T need a 3000 dollar go-fund-me every time we break our foot or discover that we have a cancerous growth. And the quality of health care is high here no matter if you are a CEO that gets 10.000 € a month or the supermarket cashier that gets 1.450 € a month. You may land in a double or even a single room if you want it if you have a private insurance, but the doctors will treat you with the exact same care and medical prowess.
Either way, we can use our money for different things (some of them fandom) more easily because we don't have to fear bankrupcy for three generations because of university education or illness. I guess the question is how many Europeans are even in fandom/on AO3? If an entire bunch of Chinese fans send whatever amount of yuan they can afford to give into dollars for AO3, how would the maths go?
I guess the point that I actually wanted to make is in Europe (and many other non-european countries that are not the US) healthcare is free for EVERYONE because EVERYONE who CAN "pay" (it gets automatically drawn from your gross wage to make it the net wage anyway, and the more you earn the more you pay until a certain top tax rate) for it pays for EVERYONE in the system, and yes, I do mean EVERYONE (people with extremely low-wage jobs, children, pensioners, the jobless/jobseeking)
So paying for fandom to make it stay accessible to everyone, even those who can't afford to pay for it on their own, is not an alien concept. And THIS concept will actually stay and persist. Because the alternative is, as we all can see LIVE in FULL HD, advertisers censoring our stuff, until the sites we used for free are practically unusable for us.
What I should be doing today: finishing a chapter of my novel.
What I actually did: pulled some rough stats for Ms. Boba
Are these numbers exact? No. The extant account #s are pulled from Wayback copies of AO3 from early October each year. The donor #s are the individual donations from both annual drives as reported in various news posts (ignoring donations other times of year and ignoring that one person can make multiple donations).
So don’t take this as some ultra-accurate exact graph like current staff could provide, but it should be representative of the big picture. Add to this the fact that not only have accounts skyrocketed, but so has AO3 use by people without accounts, and it’s clear that more popularity for AO3 does not mean a proportional amount of new donors. The pandemic obviously has an effect, but it’s not just the pandemic.
The bottom line: Getting paid for shit is hard, yo.
#srsly#american exceptionalism is a fucking scourge upon the entire world#the only thing america is exceptional is how bad it treats the people on its own soil#and also those not on its own soil#the american dream is a fucking nightmare
