seeing his eyes, puffy, bloodshot, and his eye bags still as bad as ever, except at least, they seem less sunken now, his face less angled to a sickly degree.

and most damning of all, Flapjack, nowhere to be found. not next to him, not on his shoulder, not even trailing behind him

so, disregarding both his sisters’ protests, he wills himself over to his boyfriend, battling sore joints and stiff muscles. he would’ve gotten there even if Hunter didn’t look as broken as he did now, but a resolve has steeled Edric’s nerves over possibly aggravating his injuries, or embarrassing himself in front of everyone there

instead, he gets himself right next to Hunter, with a little help from the blond himself, and holds him, as tightly as he physically can. he holds him as closely as he can around a full body of casts, and he relishes being able to touch his boyfriend after so long, but the bittersweet and solemn tinge in the air sours it.

it doesn’t matter though, because Hunter needs him, and he can’t hear it, but Edric feels him shaking with silent tears, destabilising both of them, almost to the brink of falling over.

yet Edric doesn’t let go, just pulls him further in, tucks him closer next to his heart, and hopes one day, that the world will stop being so cruel to the boy he loves the most

I was reading “at your command” by neville goddard the other morning, and there was something he was talking about that I really loved. he reminds us that everything you desire, you desire because it’s meant to be yours. you wouldn’t desire something that u couldn’t or shouldn’t have, and when u desire something, it is the gift of god.

whenever you think throughout the day “ugh i want *my desire*” (or something of the sort), don’t get upset or anxious bc you’re in the state of lack or “u messed everything up” etc. the past few days since ive read this, any time I catch myself thinking from lack, I just go “omg thank uuuuu it’s mine yayyy”

NO!!!!! (not saying we deserve the bad things in our reality. we just deserve the things we DESIRE)

we’ve been conditioned by the people who haven’t been awoken to the law that life isn’t fair and we don’t deserve anything in this world, but that’s simply not true. we deserve everything we want, bc the only reason we want it—once again—is bc it’s supposed to be ours.

the reason i love this idea of saying “thank u” any time u think of wanting something is bc 1) it shifts u to wish fulfillment (saying thank u= u accept it as yours) and 2) youre accepting the gift of god!

like, wanting something isn’t bad. it’s THE GIFT OF GOD! you desire a certain feeling, and you give yourself the solution immediately. u feel lonely and want to feel—for lack of a better word—unlonely? here u go, u want a friend! on top of that, you want a GOOD friend, so here u go! u naturally desire what you’d consider a perfect friend maybe they’re loyal, the same age as you, live in your town, etc. you naturally desire all of these things without even trying!

I love this sm bc it’s kinda like, manifestation is already halfway done IMMEDIATELY! manifestation is started and completed in the 4d. u want a feeling….u give yourself the feeling. all done! yes ofc, as a side effect, it reflects in your 3D as well. but manifestation is completed before your desire even reflects in your outer-world.

the second u give yourself the feeling (give yourself your desire in the 4d) u successfully manifested it.

I’m so sorry this is shorttt but I promise to make it up. I got lazy :p. Enjoy the domestic bliss y’all! This is totally not a self-insert fic.

“No-”

“You need to rest-”

“I’m fine, Ken-” Sneeze!

“See? Listen to me for once in your life and lie down.” Nanami sighed, shaking his head at your stubbornness.

“Fine.” You huffed and laid down on the bed, while Kento arranged the pillows beneath you for you to feel comfortable.

Nanami looked at you for a few moments. You were really stubborn and reckless when it came to your health. After watching you sneezing and almost losing your consciousness because of your fever, he had to practically force you to lie down and get rest. You tended to overwork yourself almost every time, much to his dismay.

“What?” Sneeze. Damn, you really needed to get better soon.

“Nothing, just watching how stubborn you are.” Nanami sighed, his expressions turning soft. “Love, you need to start taking care of yourself.”

“I’m fine, Ken. It’s just a little cold.” You shrugged, before sneezing again.

At this point, Kento Nanami was so done with you downplaying your sickness every time. Kento loved you, he really did, but sometimes your habits and actions made him want to pull out his hair.

Nanami first met you when he was still a grade lower than his current. You had just joined the Jujutsu Society and were paired up with him for your first ever mission. And when you had gotten injured, Nanami was the one who took care of you because he held himself responsible for your injuries. And ever since then, you became good friends and eventually lovers.

You were always the type to get excited over little things and had a loud personality, just like one of your colleagues Satoru Gojo and totally contrast to Nanami's personality. But still somehow you two got along and here you were.

You sneezed again, your face turning a bit red from the cold. "Ugh I hate being sick!"

Nanami sighed again. "That's why you're going to take a few days off and rest. Your body needs it, love. You can't overwork yourself."

You sighed and looked up at him, your expressions softening. "But Ken, I can't just sit at home in the bed while you are out fighting those damn curses." You whined.

Kento rolled his eyes. "Love, sitting at home in the bed for a few days isn't the end of the world."

"But-"

"No buts. You're staying at home for a few days. End of discussion." Nanami said a bit sternly, leaving no space for arguments.

You pouted and Kento could feel himself melting a bit seeing your expressions. He sighed. "Would it make you feel better if I took a day off too? I'll prepare you a nice ginger honey tea and warm bath. How does it sound?"

Your eyes lit up at his words and you immediately smiled, your pouty expressions no longer seen. "I'd love that, Ken. It's been a while since we spent some quality time together."

Kento smiled, something he did only with you around, and leaned down to kiss on your forehead. "Rest. I'll bring you something warm."

As he was about to stand up, you pulled him back down with his arm and kissed him softly, smiling against it. Kento didn't hesitate to kiss back, another one of his favourite things to do with you.

He didn't know how he got so lucky, having such a wonderful woman as his wife, loving him through everything. He didn't deserve you, really.

You pulled away and grinned, a mischievous glint in your eyes. "Now we're both sick. Meaning another two days off. And more cuddles! So lay down with me."

Nanami rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile at you, your cheekiness being one of the many things he loved about you.

He got under the covers beside you, wrapping his arms around you as you rested your head on his chest. He kissed your head before whispering, "I love you."

You smiled, these three words coming from his mouth never failing to make your heart flutter. You looked up at him with that adoring gaze you always had for him and whispered back, "I love you too," before burying your face back into his chest.

And as they lay together, Nanami couldn't help but sigh in contentment. He loved such moments, having the love of his life in his arms and her saying she loved him. He'd do anything just to have this domestic bliss with you.

Maybe you falling sick wasn't so bad after all.

(Name) is sick. She has been bedridden for a few days now, and the current predicament is that Rin is trying to get her to take her medicine. However, she doesn’t want to because the medicine tastes bitter. Rin, frustrated by her refusal, exclaims, “Sit still, I’m not going to hand-feed you.”

Her response to that is, “Oh, I thought you loved me.”

“I do, but I’m not going to spoon-feed you.” Rin stated, holding the spoon of medicine in his hand.

Teasingly, she asked, “What if I die right now? Wouldn’t you feel bad for not giving me one last gesture of affection?”

“You’re sick, not terminally ill. You’re not going to die,” Rin responds before adding, “Now, do you want my help or not?” looking at her with a serious look. “Of course I do,” she replies.

“Be a good girl and open your mouth.”

“Noo, I don’t want the medicine. It tastes so bad, yuck!” she choked in disgust.

“Drink it, or I’ll pry your mouth open and shove it down your throat,” Rin threatens.

“Do we really have to do it the rough way? Can't we just kiss?” she asked, jokingly. “How do you always manage to bring kisses into any situation?” Rin questions.

“Well, kisses make everything better, don’t they?” she said, hinting to him for a kiss.

“Alright, Miss Smooth Talker, let’s focus on the task at hand,” Rin interrupts, still holding the medicine. “Open wide and take your medicine like a responsible adult,” he says.

She pouts but reluctantly opens her mouth, accepting the spoonful of medicine from Rin. She makes a show of gagging and shivers as she swallows it down, exaggerating the experience.

“Ugh, that’s worse than I imagined,” she muttered, still tasting the disgusting aftertaste.

“Well, it’s for your own good. Besides, a little bitterness won't kill you,” Rin says before giving her a glass of warm water.

“Hmm, I think I deserve an award for this, don’t I?” she requested, eyes sparkling. Rin replies with a serious, “No.”

“Hey! Why not? I just want one kiss,” she sniffled, her eyes displaying sadness.

Rin sighs before leaning closer, holding her cheeks in his hands and finally giving her the kiss she’s been waiting for since the beginning. He moves closer, pushing her down onto her bed, and the kiss deepens.

She pulled away first, needing to catch her breath. Rin gazes at her flushed cheeks before kissing her collarbone, eliciting a surprised yelp from her. “Happy?” Rin asks. She nods in agreement before indicating that she wants to cuddle with him.

“You’re lucky I don’t have practice today,” Rin states, gently placing her head on his chest.

“Oh, shut up already and let me cuddle you in peace.” as she cuddles closer to him.
