Hantengu clones killing Human Female Reader S/O over an argument by accident and coping with it

Sekido:

Sekido got too comfortable... "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU, WOMAN! WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME SO ANGRY?!" He is always angry, that is his main emotion, even when he can also feel other things, he can't stop feeling angry. As simple as that is. The only thing he could do is being careful with it. "YOU ARE THE ONE WHO NEVER LISTENS TO ME! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS THIS INPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH?!" None of you even remember what are you fighting about, but it scalated.

You both were just too angry, forgetting what Sekido is. He just slamed the door with the staff with anger, electricity rising with his emotion unconciously. He didn't mean to heat you with it, but the last thing you felt was the air dying in your longs, your nerves burn and spasm with the attack before everything turned black. You hit your head when you fell. Guess you both also forgot what you were.

A mere human, meant to die, sooner or later. And you did sooner, because Sekido got too comfortable around you, not enough to treat you like the rest of the clones, but enough so you couldn't stand his anger. With his many years alive eating humans, he knows the sound of a broken skull. Still, Sekido gets closer to check on you, without pulse or breath. He feels anger negating any other feeling, including sorrow, regret, and anything else a normal human would have felt.

He tabs your body with his staff, making your head blow up due the impact, growling dangerously. "So fucking useless. BET THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED, HUH? MAKING ME-" he stops talking. You are not here anymore, so why should he? He just leaves you to rot. The others ask for you, but he shuts them up, forbids them from talking a while, attacks if they do anyway.

Sekido was always violent, too violent. So it happened, and he decided he was not dealing with you anymore.

Karaku:

"Can't you stop? I'm trying to have a seious conversation with you! Not everything is about pleasure!" You are tired of him. You love Karaku, you really do, but he shouldn't.. he can't... you can't even explain what is wrong with him, but you feel... neglected, not taken seriously enough. You hate it, specially since you have no idea what to do. "Nah, you are just stressed. Relax, princess. Stop worrying over nothing." See? He just... "I CAN'T DEAL WITH YOU ANYMORE! Why are you such a dick?"

He doesn't get angry, nor sad, he barely listens to you, being the "let's feel pleasure" the only face of his he is willing to show you. Maybe that is what is wrong. Meybe you both just can't emotionally bond the way you would like. You think about it within seconds, still angry, sad, vulnerable and other thousands of emotions that you have been holding up until now. Your eyes become wet, but you don't feel this is a safe space to cry, so you just lash out. "I HATE YOU!"

You tried to hit him as he was not facing you anymore, just wanting to relax, seeking any kind of pleasure, the thing that mades him and holds him together. He just... reacted... Karaku didn't mean anything, but the way the back of his hand impacted your side was too strong, to the point it broke more than a rib that basically stabbed your lung from the side, besides sending you flying. The only thing you remember is trying to breath, blood filling one of your lungs and making you choke.

Your eyes and throat hurted a lot, you could feel Karaku's gentle touch on your body, but besides that? You couldn't see of hear anything. It felt like hours, hours in which everything was more painful and tiredsome until... there wasn't anything anymore. He tried to save you, to bring you to a hospital, but you didn't make it, even with his speed. Finding a secluded place from a more secluded area that was not guarded by slayer but attended late night was impossible.

Karaku makes you a memorial, let's your family and friends know you died, even if they are not telled how. He visits, sometimes. But... even this was not able to change him. "Goodbye princess."

Urogi:

Urogi has hurt you before, accidentally. It's mostly when he plays, he has a hard time being aware of how dangerous his talons can be when around you. He can easily chase and dig those in other demons, in the other clones, without anything bad happening, so he is used to use them. Maybe you should have also considered that the second you decided your usual scoldings should heat up for him to listen to you, but you were becoming desesperate. "Urogi, can't you do ONE thing I ask you?"

At first it looked like it was working, he looked a bit sad, he has always been the clone less attached to his core emotion, mostly due the other animalistic traits. But in this case, those traits were also problematic. You have no idea how to deal with thos ans Urogi won't help with it. It becomes tiredsome. "I just asked you to be careful! Is it really too much?!" Maybe you should have stopped the second he was really looking regretful, because then he got angry at you.

"Where are you going?!" You asked when he clearly wanted to leave and was about to fly away. "Away!" Is all he says as he opens his wings, and you have no idea why you thought grabbing him would be a good idea... maybe that was it, you didn't think. "Don't touch me!" He didn't pay attention where he scratched for you to let him go, but... choking on your own blood with a cut on the neck was painful. So was bleeding out. "Y/N! Y/N! Please, I'm sorry!"

You could hear him plead and beg, as he carries you, trying to bring you... somewhere you could be healed, even if he didn't know where. So he was basically just making gravity make you bleed out more, height making you more dizzy as you grow tired, and tired and tired until... nothing. Just nothing.

The other clones tried comforting Urogi after, he didn't want to be separated from your corpse, but... there was nothing left to do. He still whimps about you, sometimes, and acts as if he was waiting for you to come back... he still waits yor you, at least to tell you he is sorry.

Aizetsu:

Aizetsu is the least violent of the clones, he doesn't attack if it's not on purpose, being always precise in order to give a quick death, as painless as possible. Even when you too have arguments, the few times you are angry enough he can't manipulate you into dropping it by looking sad and apologizing for everything... well, usually he just takes whatever scold you are giving him, waiting for you to calm down in order to avoid conflict. "Y/N. I'm sorry, I feel so bad about it. But could you stop scolding me? It's making me sa-" you interrupt. "Don't you dare making this about you!" Guess this is one of those times.

It gets to the point your throat hurts, that you sonehow forgot what, of everything, you were arguing in the first place. You basically said averything that was wrong but somehow you still feel like there is more to say, and you don't even understand what is going on. What do you want from this? You are basically repeating yourself right now but you are not satisfied at all. Why aren't you satisfied yet? What else is there? Have you forgotten something? That idea alone makes you feel worse.

None of you knows when or how it happened, actually. You both were stressed, to the point Aizetsu started to try and scape from you... using his demon abilities. It wasn't really his fault, he didn't touch you at all. It was an accudent during the chase, none of you would be able to tell what really happened but... you died. You died and, because it fed better into his sadness, the thing that made him, he blames and pities himself. And he pities you. Sadness and sorrow overwhealms him at some point, but he doesn't react to it at allAt least not more than usual.

He makes you a memorial in a place people can see it and carves words, not cearing who finds it. He had to ask Karaku help, but in the end... he will remember you forever. He even keeps some of your things. "I'm sorry, Y/N." He apologizes every time he goes to see you. He barely shows it but... he misses you a lot. But sadness is already part of him, and a important part of him, so... feeling so much sorrow is normal.

Sorrow is too normal, so sometimes he worries he actually doesn't feel anything about your death. Who knows?

I think even Japanese manga know when to draw the line between serious and comedy. Like having Persephone threating a nymph while entering her house like she owns it and the nymph is like drawn in "funny face and limps" is supposed to light the mood??

That the protagonist of the series is acting like a narcissist? Also in other moments when a serious topic is brought up and the faces are drawn all goofy and i am wondering the choices they made for this

I’m so sorry for being so late with these damn questions but I completely agree with you on your opinion. That’s one of the things that irk me when I see the more serious moments in Lore Olympus since they don’t know when to stop being fucking funny, like a character can be discussing some trauma or something life threatening could happen and the moods always “cartoony hehe funny faces haha” which is annoying. I don’t mind meme faces in comics but first you need to know how to use them correctly so it’s not insufferable to look at. I personally believe Lore Olympus should’ve just been a comedy since it’s clear that jokes>> trauma and I feel like it’s disrespectful at this point.

12x16 - detailed analysis

In this episode we have two interesting scenes; you can consider the first as a true garvez scene, while the second is just a moment of them, with other members of the team present.

Scene 1

Penelope picks up the phone and asks “What do you want, newbie?”. But her tone, the way she curls her lips... she is flirting.

Luke laughs. But this time he decides to play hard. You can see in the last frames that he is flirting back. The way he bends his head, his expression in general, his mischievous eyes. He replies: “Still with that? Come on. You need some new material”.

This is her first reaction. Surprising. Amazament, but in a good way, as you can see in the second frame. Because she likes to flirt with him, whatever she can say. The fact is, and I already said it, but I need to repeat in this place, that she flirts and flirted with everyone, but not all play the same game. Luke likes to tease her as much as Pen, at least at the beginning of their "relationship" (because since s15 he clearly wants more than just flirting, but she prefers to keep herself safe behind the flirt). Follow her face while she talks.

“Ok, whatever you say..."

"El Nuevo."

"Hunky Newster."

"New kid on the no, that one's too much on the nose.” she stops herself.

Luke forces himself to be professional and keeps his mind focused on the case. But he laughs again, pleased, enjoying her rambling. He replies “All right, whatever."

And, like in a mirror, she comes to her Garcia supergenius side. “Sure. Shoot.”

He then says “11637 Woodycrest Avenue. It's an apartment building in the Bronx. Any criminal activity that might relate to Danny White.”. We see Penelope concentration while Luke adds information. It's really sad that we can't know if she is concentrated on Luke voice or the screen.

“Hold yourself. Searching now. Just your garden variety vandalism, drug possession. It's all pretty standard for a condemned building.”.

“Wait, it's condemned?” Luke is really surprised. She found as always the relevant information; that's not news, but he just can't get used to.

She answers “Mm-hmm. Has been for months. It's scheduled to be demolished, but, uh, something's holding it up. Permit issue.”. Penelope nods with conviction at the end of her sentenceas reinforce what she is saying.

Then, Luke has his surprise for her. “Thanks, Garcia." he starts saying "You truly, you are the best.” and he is not lying.

Penelope can't believe it. But she is happy. Her lips curl in a happy smile. She cares about Newbie opinion. That's the question. And she still - spoiler - in the last season (CME or 16). She asks: “Really?”.

He is waiting for it. Luke concludes his sentence, adding just an adjectiv: “Available.” then hangs up. He laughs at the screen of his phone, like he was making raspberry. He is confident he was the winner of this battle. But her revenge will come. Luke is so proud of himself and his stupidity.

You can guess she is annoyed. A lot. She exclaims “Newbie.”. Side note: this is the last time she said it for a long time; Newbie will come back only at the end of S15.

Then we come back to Luke, that is still so prouf of his joke, but turns professional when Emily and Walker reach him.

Scene 2

The team calls Garcia for know what she discovers about the case. She in her office with JJ.

As I already said, we should consider it like a moment with some garvez shades and not like a proper scene. The first shades is when the camera shows Luke so concentrated when he listens to Penelope talking about the case. The fact is that the camera focuses on him exactly when she starts talk, after JJ, and this creates a link between them, especially because it last only 2 seconds, then we see Garcia talking.

But the revenge is coming. Walker asks something and she replies flirting with him. She says “Oh, so good, new guy, who doesn't feel new because your deep baritone voice comforts me." JJ looks at her like she wants to ask her "are you drunk or on drugs?"

Penelope is still taliìking and the camera shows us Walker reactions. And Rossi. So different from Luke's, don't you think? "The answer is yes.”. Then we see Luke reaction. Exactly. Why we jave to see it? What does mean in a cinematographic context? He is not her boyfriend or a particular relative. But the sequence of this frames, Walker-Rossi and then Luke, suggests a link, again, between what Penelope said and Luke react, even if this time the joke wasn't directly for him. And the link is renforced by the fact Luke looks at Walker (and we can guess that the other man looks back at him). He keeps laugh, then stops and stays with a weird smile on the lips. Considering another moments, like in 12x22, when Morgan touches her in front of him, we can guess that this is his way of showing jealousy. But he is also amazed, in a good way, by her revenge. He is sure, he knows that she made all of this for him. Side note: we keep hear Penelope talking about the case, while we see Walker-Rossi-Luke reactions.

After a pause, we have another moment. Penelope explain what happened to a girl, something similar with their case and we see Emily and Luke listening, then he makes his question. “There any foul play?” and she is quick to answer “Inconclusive. There was a thunderstorm that night, so the crime scene was compromised.”.

Analysis of garvez scenes

I think ive decided to go to my dads funeral in a dress, despite his super conservative mentees. He'd likely expect it from me and luckily his side of the fam are all faggots and trannies but ughhhhh i am dreading it. Also I know I'm expected to come up with a eulogy and a roast segment, along with talking to others but I can't and won't. (On a semi-non-seious note the eulogy i cant do bc yknow. And the roast because im too cutthroat and would start drama lmao)

Probably obvious that I've never attended a funeral for someone I actually knew but this shit fucking sucks, no one should have to be prepared for their own parent's funeral at 21

I just watched a documentary on how the elderly are being treated in South Korea by their government state. It's so fucking sad :'( So ironic the state can afford suicide police yet can't afford more help for the elderly. This is the generation that lifted South Korea out of poverty and led it to its present Industrialized and developed state. The government that doesn't pay back after decades of hard work and paying taxes makes me disgusted (sorry for the rant lol I had to let it out)

Hmmm…. I think it’s a little bit harsh to compare the help to the amount of money which is invested in the suicide police. Suicide is still a taboo topic in Korean and many-many people commit it, it’s a very seious issue just like the elders poblem. We can’t make difference here, we talk about lives in both cases. 

Unfortunately not S. Korea is the only place where the older generation’s work isn’t appreciated. You can find similar bad situations in Europe or in other countries too. Aging society faces with difficulties since the 20th century which is a well known crisis. The welfare state can’t serve this many people, the younger generation has to work harder to ensure their parents’ future. It’s a bubble which has been growing for so long now;  we still don’t know if it will ever pop or not - probably at one point it will. There are too many homeless people on the street becaue of the side effect of capitalism, people who once were teachers with degree just end up there without home or family.

All over the world somehow we are being connected here-and-there with the same problems. It doesn’t seem that there will be a solution for that which frustrates the society, that’s why you can see how in the last 2-3 years more frigid, inordinate parties took over the governing. I don’t know where you live dear anon but things aren’t good in my country either, but we have to hope that things will get better one day.
