Thayer stands beside the couch underneath the cherry tree carefully maintained in the store, looking rather proud of themself. "Trying to see how many plushies I can put on Dain before he wakes up." They whisper back nonchalantly, as if this was a normal occasion in the bookstore. "So far I'm at like... five, I think?" The Bough Keeper in question is, somehow, fast asleep on the curved loveseat, lying on his back with one knee propped up as he sleeps. It was strange to see Dainsleif asleep in the first place, let alone in a deep enough sleep for someone to be stacking stuffed toys on him. Yet somehow, the ever-vigilant knight's cloak is hung over the side of the couch, and there's already a stuffed ferret toy sitting on his chest, as well as a starry cat, a lizard, and a few others. People knew Thayer had a lot of stuffed animals, but still; did they have some ever growing-hoard somewhere? Lan takes a sip of their tea, smirking a bit at the sight. "...How did you even manage that?" They ask, Enjou already stifling laughter as he shuffles around looking for a kamera behind Lan. Thayer just grins, putting their hands on their hips. "No idea!" They announce cheerfully, and despite the ruckus, Dainsleif still sleeps on.

f/o who is bad at expressing emotions but they care so extremely much about you even if it seems like they don’t. your voice being their favorite thing ever, their thoughts sometimes full with nothing but you. a stare that lingers far too long, reaching quietly for your hand when needed along with a little squeeze (or three, an unsaid i love you). a smile/look they have that’s reserved for you and only you. with all the unspoken feelings and gestures they do, they truly hope even those seemingly little things reach you.
