Yugo's Audience with Armand: Moving Past Previous Mistakes
If you think about it, after his sacrifice and his reconciliation with Amalia, his audience with Yugo is the scene that best highlights Armand's character development throughout the season, dare I say, the show. With it, we finally come full circle.
We were first introduced to Armand as he refused to let Joris anywhere near his father, even at the behest of the King of Bonta.
Tumblr media
Up until that point, all we knew about him was from Amalia and Eva's retellings, where he was painted as often arguing with his sister, being an extremely difficult person to deal with, and having bad breath. And then we finally meet him and...
Everything they said about him turned out to be nothing but the truth.
But we don't really see the full extent of it until Amalia and Evangelyne pleaded their case regarding Nox to him, when he stubbornly refused to believe his sister, instead assuming her imagination had just gone wild. He didn't even rethink his assessment even when Eva backed Amalia up, which would have still been harsh of him to do—to believe his sister's bodyguard over her just because he has a crush on her—, but it still would have made sense, as Eva is very level-headed and she never would have even entertained the thought of allowing Amalia to joke over something so serious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That already established Armand as an arrogant and self-righteous prince who believes he is in the right just because of his position as heir apparent and older brother.
We must also keep in mind he actually had ample reason to believe Amalia about Nox's plans. While it's hard to tell the extent of his actions and the repercussions they had on the World of Twelve and his victims before the beginning of the show, the fact remains that Nox had been at large for 200 years. In that time, he probably ravaged countless villages and killed powerful creatures in order to drain their Wakfu. Surely, word must have at least got out about some mad Xelor going around and killing people!
In other words, it wasn't necessarily like Armand didn't have proof that Amalia was telling the truth. At the very least, he must have heard some rumours. And yet, that wasn't enough for him to believe his sister and act accordingly.
Not to mention, Amalia had run away yet came back to warn her people of the upcoming threat. Yet Armand still thought she was making stuff up. Who in their right mind would leave their home only to come back to put everyone on edge over a lie?
One thing is acting spoiled from time to time, and another very different thing is acting sociopathic!
Now, let's compare this to his audience with Yugo when he sought his permission to investigate Sadida ground.
Tumblr media
During the time between season 2 and the OVAs, Armand seemed to have developed a deep-seated mistrust of the Eliatropes, most likely caused by Qilby's deceit, and it was only exacerbated when the Eliatrope Goddess introduced herself and made her intentions of controlling the World of Twelve in order to make it safe for her children clear.
Tumblr media
It's also worth pointing out that not even Yugo was safe from his scorn, despite being a staunch ally to the Sheran Sharms, and saving his kingdom and the world in several occasions. This I attribute both to the fact that Amalia's feelings for him got in the way of marrying her off (thankfully, he seemed to move on from that mindset in season 4, though he still didn't necessarily approve of Yugo), and the fact that King Oakheart was always so welcoming and trusting of him. Knowing Armand, it really wouldn't be far-fetched to believe he was jealous of Yugo's own relationship with his father.
Tumblr media
And yet, when the time came for Yugo to request his help and ask him to place his trust on him, Armand agreed.
This is especially telling of his character development because, unlike in Amalia's case, Armand did have ample reason to distrust the Eliatropes.
It's true, except for Qilby and arguably their goddess, the Eliatropes are a peaceful race, but the Twelvians' experiences with the former two at least justify their unease around them.
Both of them display an alarming lack of empathy towards anyone but themselves or their people. After all, Qilby is responsible for the genocide of the Eliatropes, and all because he was bored and searched stimulation elsewhere because of his divine gift. But at the same time, while he couldn't care less for the World of Twelve and planned to have Rushu and his subjects destroy it right before draining it dry of all Wakfu just to fuel the Zenit, he was equally adamant to have his family and the Eliatrope children with him as he travelled the Krosmoz.
The Eliatrope Goddess, on the other hand, might not have been as outwardly callous as her son, nor capable of even going through with her threats and putting the world leaders in their place, but she is equally uncaring towards anyone who isn't one of her children.
Tumblr media
In fact, that was the very reason why she made an enemy out of the Twelvian leaders and they came to resent her presence. Because she chose to override their authority and keep them all under her watch (which, until she revealed herself, had the Twelvians terrorised). But the last nail on the coffin was when she revealed that all that, the Eliaculus, sending the Eliatrope guard to help whenever there was trouble, everything, was solely to ensure her children's safety.
Like mother, like son. Am I right?
Even without saying anything, she made it clear that she cared not for the Twelvians and that the Eliatropes were her priority. And that's without getting into her manic insistence they left the World of Twelve to rot the moment the Nécromes arrived.
Tumblr media
Now, there's no denying that most leaders with any significant focus have been revealed to be jerks one way or another (looking at you, Queen Astra, Prince of Brakmar, and the entire Osamodas royal family), but they do have a right to be worried when Eliatrope didn't even bother to hide how, in her eyes, they're second class citizens compared to her own followers.
These first impressions really didn't give much reason for Armand to believe Yugo and to listen to his pleas. However, the most damning evidence of all had to be the fact that the Nécromes appeared with the arrival of the Eliatropes. Between the suspicious timing and the fact that the portal-making race had dealt with traitors before, it sounded very unlikely that both things wouldn't be connected.
And Armand knew this. He was perfectly aware of how suspicious everything was, and he didn't hesitate to let Yugo know. However, he also admitted, several times, in fact, that Yugo had been an ally to the Sadida Kingdom since the beginning. That if both his father and his sister never hesitated to put as much faith and trust in him as they did, then it would only be wise he chose to trust Yugo as well.
A clear contrast to how he refused to listen to Amalia, his own sister, back in season 1, and all because he believed to be always in the right.
Tumblr media
Season 4 was Armand's chance to redeem himself in the eyes of the audience, to go from an arrogant, jealous prince to a mature and wise king and brother. And while there are things I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive him for, I do appreciate the character development he went through. As I said at the beginning of the analysis, this scene proves he's come full circle.

Nora is being indirectly mistreated by her own family.
(And why my Noramalia obsession is slowly increasing-)
I don’t know why this happened the way it did but episodes 7 and 8 FED ME SOME GOOD NORAMALIA MOMENTS ✨✨
Also, let me just say how episode 7 ended up being the FIRST EVER recorded conversation between Amalia and Nora and it was WONDERFUL 💕💕
Tumblr media
My girl is always the one complaining first but for once, it’s Nora who beat her to it 😭😭
I never thought I’d see the day when someone else would say their complaints out loud and it would be AMALIA OF ALL PEOPLE to try to look at the positives of the situation!
No matter how many times I keep analyzing how these two behave around each other throughout these two episodes, my heart keeps fluttering cuz I see NO FLAWS WHATSOEVER IT’S PERFECT ‼️‼️💖💖💖
Just look at how Amalia keeps being the one supporting Nora and snapping her awake from her panic attacks!
Tumblr media
You’d usually think the ones who’d help her often with her problems would be Yugo, Qilby, and even Adamaï, her actual BROTHERS, or even her own mother but NO!!! It’s AMALIA!!!
Amalia saw how Nora looked super out of it during the battle and decided to go to her and snap her from her trance AND EVEN HELD HER SHOULDER OMG ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!?
But you’re gonna tell me: “chillax dummy, she only did that cuz it was the right thing to do. Yugo was busy supporting Adamaï and Qilby’s just being a dick.”
Oh yeah?
Well I reject ur premise.
Amalia is such a good girlfriend that she KEEPS BEING BY NORA’S SIDE EVEN AFTER SHE CALMED DOWN.
Ankama could’ve made Joris support her instead since he was free but nope! It HAD to be Amalia 💕💕
Just look at how my girl keeps holding her from behind and making sure she’s alright.
Tumblr media
Keep in mind that Amalia has no idea what’s going on with Nora. This is the second legitimate time she sees Nora like this (since Nora also had one of those moments back in the Sadida kingdom) and Amalia does not know if her frozen state usually happens when she sees something that triggers her or if this is just something that Nora gets from time to time.
Whatever Amalia may be thinking about this, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s the only one in the group who realized her peculiar case and did something to help her.
Not only is this character development for Amalia, but it also shows how she caught Nora’s odd behavior much more quickly than the others. And it only took two times for her to see it to do anything about it.
LOOK SHE’S STILL HOLDING NORA ‼️‼️‼️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are you seeing this shit⁉️⁉️⁉️
How the hell am I the only one addressing Amalia’s care for Nora???
And Nora just lets her!
Even after her little panic attack ended, she still lets Amalia touch her back for support!
This is honestly such a cute detail and I love how the small noramalia moments are treated like this 💖
When you really think about it, the relationship could work, especially for Nora’s part.
Nora’s family is especially messy and chaotic. Her mother is too traumatized by the necromes to do anything about her situation or even ask her how she’s feeling. She didn’t even have an alone talk with Nora to properly talk about how she was feeling. I bet that even when Nora had managed to save the Eliatrope goddess and got to be alone for some time, not even once did the Eliatrope goddess ask her anything cuz Nora was too busy consolidating her mother while internally freaking out for her brother.
Yugo and Qilby are just fighting with each other while Adamaï stays on the sidelines and doesn’t try to get closer to his mother, preferring to put some distance between him and her.
So who’s left to talk about her troubles or to let out her frustrations and misery?
Amalia.
The only person who attempted to help and noticed she had something off.
The only person who, despite not being family or even a divinity, attempted to do anything about her case.
The only person who stayed next to her and placed her hand behind her back even when she stopped freaking out.
Amalia would be a good person Nora could choose to go to for her problems.
It’s clear to see Nora had no room to breathe or place herself first at any moment that we got to see her. Her mother and her brothers are taking too much space and they don’t seem to realize how much she’s got to lose despite the evidence plastered right in front of their faces. Even when Nora explains to them how she managed to find their mother and how Efrim had to sacrifice himself in the process, she gets absolutely no words of consolidation from her brothers or her mother.
Tumblr media
Instead, she just gets looks of sympathy from Yugo and Adamaï but it’s clear that they don’t seem to be sad about Nora being stuck in her dofus but rather because she lost her brother. For a primordial eliatrope to understand that their dofus won’t hatch because their sibling got infected means that they’re aware they can predict their time of “death”, ending their continuous cycle and rebirth that was supposed to last for eternity. Since the eliatrope council cannot die and constantly come back to life, this could technically be considered their actual death.
Upon knowing that Nora knows this however, the Eliatrope goddess simply says :
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What kind of answer is that?!
Her mother is basically implying that there’s no hope for Nora but at the same time is saying that she loves her??
She does realize that her words feel empty now that she told her she couldn’t let that happen again right?? She’s basically indirectly saying that Nora is a lost cause.
It's clear to see that Nora has much more to lose than her other family members.
She’s the only one who lost her brother for good and will likely not get reborn in her next life with him because she’ll be stuck in her dofus forever. To be able to get reborn over and over again but not be able to anymore because your brother froze the cycle is a fate worse than death. She’s the only one who’s hiding her sadness and pain to give space for her mother because she thinks her problems are way less important than what’s currently going on. She’s the only one having panic attacks and thinks she’s seeing her brother everywhere. She’s the only suspect who is likely the reason why the portal to the necrome world is even there and is very likely the sick eliatrope.
Tumblr media
So to have Amalia do this small and kind gesture for Nora made my heart warm up at the fact that she IS worried for her and is still holding her up after she had her little struggle.
Their relationship doesn’t even need to be romantic. Just as long as I get to see Amalia be by Nora’s side for anything, I’d be happy.
Cuz to be real with you, I’m starting to get annoyed that her family doesn’t seem to understand the level of severity of Nora’s case.
If Amalia noticed Nora was having a panic attack, then she could notice her struggles hidden inside her if Nora confided in her. (this also means her family should be able to clearly see it but since they’re not doing anything about it, they shouldn’t be an option for Nora to go to).
And that’s what I would like to see.
A moment like this where Nora can properly rely on someone who isn’t her family.
But for a romantic relationship, I can definitely see it too lol
Amalia’s usually the one speaking her thoughts so shamelessly but Nora might as well take her place and be a boss ass bitch while Amalia’s the more caring side and supports Nora and hears her troubles.
That can be a good dynamic to see. We only saw a glimpse of it when Nora was complaining about the rulers of the world. So it’d be nice to see these two talking to each other again like this.

I know, I know I'm a scratched record
But I'm dying to hear your thoughts on the Wakfu finale when you get to it!
I just finished watching it and it's uuh... hmm. I read people saying the finale was "satisfactory" but I am not fully on board with that sentiment.
Too much left unanswered, not enough wrapped up, too rushed to get to the end.
I know the Waven game is a continuation of sorts, it takes place decades after Wakfu's conclusion so that game might hold some answers or closure, buuuuttt... I'm not interested enough in the game to play and find out. I guess I've grown a bit tired of the whole cross-media info/lore some franchises love to do (like Blizzard and covering important info across the Warcraft games, books and short stories).
Wakfu season 4 obviously has an open ending, no matter that it is the final season, so who knows what might follow. I'm just a little saddened that the story picked up a little too late this season but the animation, particularly during action scenes, was pretty great... when not using the same static images of characters xDD They loved that a little too much but I understand the budget wasn't that big so I can't really fault Ankama for it.
Did I like this season? Mmmyyeeaaah, it's a mixed bag. Better than season 3 but not better than the first two seasons or even the OVA episodes. Glad it exists but I don't feel super satisfied with its conclusion.
HEAVY SPOILERS ahead, so be mindful but gonna share some thoughts:
Seeing Joris play a bigger part in the second half of the 4th season, and him vibing with Adamaï made me very giddy and happy. Love that for them, hope they become good friends. And thank fek neither of them died. RIP, Qilby, Armand and Brakmar (maybe?). The guys who needed to redeem themselves got their chance, at least.
Goddess Eliatrope was a big disappointment and an unlikeable character but I guess that was kind of the point...? Angry that she totally ignored Chibi and Grougal, like what the fuck even? Didn't even show a hint of acknowledgment towards them. What if they wanted to meet mom, huh?? And what even happened to Baltazar and Glip, who were in Emrub with the same kids that were asleep in Goddess Eliatrope's belly? What did she do with them?
But hey, at least my headcanon that the Sadida and Eliatropes will combine into a single kingdom/people (which I also wrote about in my Rebirth fic) actually happening was pretty satisfying x'D It even has Wakfu-infused trees, om nom nom.
A little frustrated with Necroworld (not the same Necroworld from the Transformers: Lost Light comics) because it's supposed to be a different planet in some other universe but it had dofus (dragon eggs) and races of the Twelve like Sadida, Sram and Sacrier. It was pretty confusing... Imo, it should have been something similar to The Upside Down (Stranger Things), or an alternate version of the world of Twelve rather than a completely separate place. But eh...
Why did nobody care about the state Inglorium was in, or that the Gods have disappeared? That bothered me so so so soooo much during the first two episodes; nobody non-Eliatrope or non-demigod cared that their God/Goddess was... well... gone. Aside from God Iop, where are they?? Hated the disinterest, hated the silence around it. Guess that's a mystery that will be unraveled in some other media.
Yugo grew tall and handsome and I'm not afraid to say it. Happy for him, though him suddenly growing so quickly was a bit silly. I figured there would be a time skip to justify his 'growth' that we saw in promotional images and teasers. Won't complain though, he deserved to finally be in a body that reflects his actual age, it took him long enough!
"Bootleg Alys" from the Dofus movie made a cameo in episode 11 which made me snerk. (I noticed a few more background characters from the movie that were re-used in episode 11.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's all I have to say, at least here on Tumblr. It was quite a ride.
A big thanks Ankama and all the Kickbackers that made it possible; this show had its ups and downs over the past decade but it was enjoyable and loved. It still holds a special place in my heart and I will keep a tiny eye out for more Krozmos stuff in the future (like Welsh & Shedar, gimme!!).

wakfu s4 episode 10 spoilers ///
Qilby's "death" kinda got me fucked up. Imagine living remembering every single thing perfectly, even death and rebirth, but you have 10 other siblings to look after. One of the siblings is annoying as all hell but you cant bring yourself to hate him cause he's your brother and always challenging you in new ways, but even that gets boring. Fast forward a few thousand millennia and you intentionally put yourself in harms way to rescue this annoying little brother at the cost of your own life.
And, at the end, after so much hardship and struggle, you finally recognize your brother who's caused you so much grief as your King.
Just... wow. I'm really appreciating Qilby's character a lot more. He feels like a tragic character.
Also, I'm glad that ToT didn't make Qilby's death awkward or out of character. I know they said that they don't like him and I was afraid that would influence how he would go, but I'm happy with what they did with him. At least he has Shinonome now :')

Wakfu Oropo OAV : Why I love to hate it
Hum, sorry not sorry, but you read correctly, dear Kosmoz's traveller it is time to give my opinion on the latest Ankama OAV focusing on Oropo's background, and well... Let's at least start with the good parts.
Tumblr media
A long forgotten animation we love
The title screen framing Oropo's figure, graphically underlying he will be the center of this story is quite nice. There are few other choices of composition that are also really good and meaningful.
The animation is still... Well it's Ankama : it gives energy in the fight scene, emotion when needed, it is colorful yet pale (underlying maturity after a childish beginning for the series).
The Eliotropes' design and presentation : so nice to see more charcaterisation of this race we have still so much to uncover ! And I LOVE to see "bad eliotropes", especially this little guy there ("Rictus" in french), because if Eliotropes are Yugo's shadows, then it means that our dear "EliAtropes' king" is not as a white knight as we would like to see him ~
Tumblr media
The fights are pretty cool
The music... well still awesome
Don't know about the english dub, but oh well, the french one is still very neat. Even if I can not help but to find that Chibi's way of ALWAYS screaming is just tiring in the long run...
AND THERE IT IS.
We have reached the end of the "good points", and oh boy... It can not be compared to the bad ones...
Tumblr media
De Profundis : why this OAV should return to the White Dimension
CHIBI : he should NOT BE ALIVE !!! I KNOW that IoW is no more canon but the fact that he is still alive after the second war against Orgonax ? Bollocks ! And his character design ?! What is this ?
Tumblr media
From now on... I will rename Chibi "no eyebrows stupid screamer"
And yeah... STUPID !!! For someone who is supposed to have outlived Orgonax and Qilby's "treason", how is it possible for him to be this nut-head ? He lost the fight at the end for what ? Because he only screams and yells and DID NOT THINK ONCE ! Talk about a Council's member : no shit Qilby became crazy with a brother like him for centuries.
And Grougaloragran, can we talk about him ? WHY IS HE FIGHTING NAKED ?!? Why does he not transform into his dragon version ?! WHY NOT USING ALL HIS POTENTIAL FACING SUCH A THREAT ?! And if he wants to stay in a more agile version, fine, but keep your damn clothes ON, please ! I mean, it brings up nothing interesting other than his abs : can we be serious for once ?
Chibi's death : no emotion. I mean, he does not seem very wise for his age, he does not listen to his brother, he does not talk about Yugo or perhaps his feelings about encountering other "versions" of his brother after so much time being appart from him. Did not particularly care about him at the beginning, hate him after seeing that version of the character.
THE FU**** CONSISTENCE WITH THE LORE ?! WHERE IS IT ?!
The fact that Oropo is held into the cube.... It could be a good idea, huh ? Yes, yes... he could become.... THE F***** VOICE THAT NOX IS HEARING, RIGHT ?!?! For which reason ? Why tossing the cube into the ocean ?! How does it come back in season one ?! Can't Nox be left alone and just be a great antagonist WITHOUT OROPO being "at the beginning of everything" ?!
Ankama is probably going to follow that last idea, aren't they ? So, like at the end of the 3rd season, we're gonna have the "it was Oropo's plan"... Thanks, really.
Hum.... Did Oropo really though that they could take out a freacking dragon ? Like... He's Yugo's shadow : he knew that Grougal was powerful. Why not trying to sneak out ?
Because of that choice to show "fighting" instead of sneacking, we were stuck 30 minutes on a beach. There was only few different backgrounds with flashbacks (and we already knew that beach from season one, so not even something new).
Hum, I love the design of all the Eliotropes, but... WHY ARE THEY SO DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL ?! I mean, the saga is supposed to be part of the game too ! You're going to tell me that there are all different even though all the in-game Eliotropes have the same design ? And what about the fact that their design are litteraly caricatures of their personality ? Same note for their names ("'"poet" ? "rictus" ? "bouillon" ?) ! I mean, we're not children, and gosh, it is so... plain ! Can't they have nuances ?!
The dialogues... Lame. No emotions. No good humor. No really good informations : I had the the impression to see children taunting each other each time someone was talking.
Oropo being full of disdain towards his brothers and sisters when they are talking and suggesting other plans but being full-emotional when one of them dies : once again, show why his characterization is a fail.
Aton's death : "you were a brother... A sister... Whatever..." Is this a non-bineary reference here ? WHY ? I mean, it is not bad to have more diversity, quite the contrary but its just... there. No explanation, And for a antagonist with "no emotion" : what a great depiction for this stigmatized group... And who dies at the end... If it was just to put a reference to LGBTQ and + because its trendy or because you have a to-do list to check, please don't.
Why is Grougaloragran using his adversaries' names like he knows them even he just met them ?
The Eliacube showed Oropo the destruction of the Eliatropes' world after Orgonax came, or some kind of destruction. And he still wants to use it... Genius.
Well, I think I will stop this monolog here.
I will gladly exchange with whoever want to share their own experience of this OAV.
To conclude : I will not recommend this OAV for something else than the animation. The story is sh*t, the characters are a pain in the eliacube and I can't help but fear for the 4rth season after watching this...

On the tenth day of chrismas
It's the second asked the famous fight between the two.
Couln'dt work around that, this fight is impressive but I'm photosensitive and it pouch all the boutton
But I got another storyboard of the combat (forgot the links)
Here is my opinion on this OAV
The advantage is that we better place Oropo, and possibly other eliotrop, in the world chronology.
I feel this episode is more a frame from what is coming up. Oropo, as some of the other presenters in this oav, will be in season 4 it's been years that Tot add confirmed it.
AND confirmed a theory that was in debate between the last episode of season 1 and the revelation of Qilby in season 2: the voice cube real or not? Qilby or N (basically he was THE rebellious child at the time (before he erased from history))?
Feel like an appetizer, sufficient enough. I mean looking back at others OAV like Ogrest or Noximilien you don't learn much from them either. Well, except Ogrest if you don't play any of Ankama game. But each give a bit more soul of the character seeing their turning point by their eyes. That's why you don't learn anything if you are relieving a memory are you explaining every detail? No, you're not Mr. Exposition in it.
Come on, I have a big problem with this OAV and I can’t have it. It is seen that IOW is now supposed to no longer be canon, the reasons why Chibi is alive let’s go to the trash. Because if IOW was still canon, that would be a bastard move from Chibi. I summarize in IOW, everyone is talking about the death of Chibi, it is even the basic of the tensions between his siblings. Mina grief, Nora birth, Qilby and Yugo tension, possibly Glip culpability.
And there we find in all the chaos of the conflict a fake skeleton which is supposed to be the skeleton of Chibi. And we must not forget that Chibi is presented as a prophet, someone who can see the future. So if IOW canon, Chibi on Oma when Oreo and the others arrive would mean that Chibi saw what was going to happen to his people, and even the whole world has seen the vision of the cube with Oreo. But he did not care, he preferred to pretend to be dead, recover the cube on the ashes of his family.
*Also did you see in the storyboard video the clin d'oeil Oma look like the house Kamé Sennin/tortue génial from dragon ball

Hum, I love the design of all the Eliotropes' designs, but... WHY ARE THERE SO DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL ?! I mean, the saga is supposed to be part of the game too ! You're going to tell me that there are all different even though all the in-game Eliotropes have the same design ? And what about the fact that their design are litteraly caricatures of their personality ? Same note for their names ('poet" ? "rictus" ? "bouillon" ?) ! I mean, we're not children, and gosh, it is so... plain ! Can't they have nuances ?!
The dialogues... Lame. No emotions. No good humor. No really good informations : I had the the impression to see children taunted each other each time someone was talking.
Oropo being full of disdain towards his brothers and sisters when they are talking and suggesting other plans but being full-emotional when one them dies : once again, show why his characterization is a fail.

Some thoughts on Oropo
Personally, I think Oropo is a promising villain with a chance to be portrayed on a par with the other two (Nox and Qilby). The "ego" he represents is a profound theme ……
Oropo has shown a strong belief in his own goals throughout the episode. But this is instead a strong suggestion of self-denial.
Oropo's notion of a "life of his own" is "false"; he carries the feelings and memories of Yugo, so he wants to win the love of the Tofu Brotherhood. (He has already done this with Adamai.) These actions are intended to restore his memories in order to feel his "presence". Although he hates Yugo, subconsciously he chooses to live in Yugo's shadow! His plan to "replace those gods" should really be described as "becoming Yugo, the man who created him", and it is clear that he feels strongly dissatisfied with his situation…
The Brotherhood of the Forgotten is a pirated version of The Brotherhood of Tofu. (An ironic point) The "good purpose of improving the world" thus becomes more of an excuse to disguise the true needs of the heart. But Oropo sees the transformation of the world as the right choice. He sees himself as a hero and is willing to pay any price to 'save the world' and 'make it better'. Even if it required the creation of a devastating bomb - but there is no denying that he did have the "dedication" and "passion for the world"!
Just like The Brotherhood of the Tofu will fight for the world, just like Yugo.

He comes across as so calm and self-controlled and swimmingly mature in front of everyone else. But when he blames Yugo, he looks like a big baby in his angry outburst. (The contrast is also interesting.)
Oropo is good at manipulating people's minds - I see this as a mechanism for him to protect himself. Essentially, he doesn't trust his demigod friends who are with him - he is wary of them. He is afraid to invest real emotion in them. (Disturbed by Yugo's memories, the love of the Tofu Brotherhood is the true 'orthodoxy' of Oropo's heart.) This also causes Oropo to appear calculating. As long as Yugo exists - (but Yugo's existence is a constant) he will doubt the "truth of everything around him." (That's a given…) Although his friends did once genuinely believe in him and love him. But at the end, they all become disillusioned with Oropo and turn on him. (Although it was Oropo who first began to act in betraying them. But the reaction of these demigods who chose to rebel against Oropo without hesitation still made me feel sad for that. The plot is fine, the actions are understandable, but my heart still breaks for their "friendship" after watching it. (Wanted to laugh xx But at least he wasn't alone, he had Echo! *looks silently at some man trapped in a white room)
"Despite having inherited the memories and traits of that man, I am still not him, yet I choose to try hard to be him. But unknowingly I already have friends and lovers of my own. So my life is still valuable and unique, and I am sure of my own existence." But what is tragic is that these are the things that Oropo figured out in the last few minutes of his life.

Interesting psychological build up. I don't know if these words convey what I think are the contradictory points of the character in Oropo. "Struggling with falsehoods, going round and round, taking such long detours, and finally being surprised to realize that what he wanted to pursue was actually in his own hands." It was supposed to be a story with a crippling beauty…but something went wrong -- making his whole tragedy seem so deliberately shaped and feel so silly.xx Anyway, I'd rather believe that the performance missteps in season three weren't Tot's attempt to deliberately gross out the audience. No sane writer would want to disappoint their audience with a story they've written…
So damn it, let's say it's all the sponsors' fault. (???) Because they only subscribed to Ankama for 13 episodes, causing them to rush through all these stories like that that should have been handled carefully. (◐‿◑)But personally I think Ankama's story line was a bit of a mess too, look what they did to Qilby in Wakfu manga. -- I'm honestly curious as to how Ankama actually handled those character stories internally? (Desperate!)
I honestly never thought I'd analyse Oropo like this before - at the very beginning, after watching season 3, I was so pissed off with Oropo as a person and the decisions Ankama made. But I tried to make myself appreciate Oropo… even though he has "replaced Qilby as the most revolting villain". xx (That phrase itself also took my breath away!!!)
Even though the third season is "hopeless" for most of us, there is now a remedial OVA for Oropo, and there's no telling what they'll do to change the perception of Oropo…

Well, it'd be a crime if you just watched so much of Wakfu and we didn't ask you about it, so, wakfu for the meme? :3c
fandom meme yay [ACCEPTING]
Favorite character: (bass boosted) AMALIA I LOVE YOU AND YOU DESERVE BETTER
Second favorite character: tristepin, goultard and noximilien. yes im listing all of them as second bc i cant pick one of my boys orz
Least favorite character: (very close to the mic) i’ll literally pay anything i have to not see bump ever again i fucking hate him i hope he chokes in his own spit. it’s literally one of the few characters in all media i actually hate i want that hunk obliterated
The character I’m most like: i wanna say,,,, probably elely?
Favorite pairing: tristeva Good and i love them a lot...............
Least favorite pairing: N/A tbh? i mean with the show being quite obscure i didnt see anything that makes me go :/ just yet except for the obligatory incest bs so we’re good so far. not... a big fan of the whole Oropo/Amalia plot but what can you do
Favorite moment: the entire final episode of s1, followed by the battle with Ogrest. also obligatory throwback to Pinpin revealing he did the devil’s tango with Eva with the most nonchalant chill tone possible bc i love him
Rating out of 10: might as well give ratings on every season tbh!!!! S1 is 9/10, it’s probably the one i enjoyed the most despite the first 10 episodes of nothing but filler. nox is legit one of my favorite antagonists in all media and i think it would’ve been a bittersweet, yet beautiful conclusion to the entire series too. S2 gets a 7.5/10, too many fillers. i REALLY loved it when the plot actually started moving, but unfortunately that happens in the last few episodes after a lot of fillers that i couldnt care less for tbh. loved qilby, really REALLY liked rushu, a LOT of filler characters (coughs @ mofette and the prince, elaine and felinor) are AMAZING but a lot more unfortunately fell terribly flat. the OVA get a 8/10. the first two episodes are a 7, they’re nice but not that amazing and lord knows how much adamai made my eyes roll, but the final episode is a hard 10 to me. i wouldve loved if it focused on all the characters instead of just yugo and tristepin, but tbh they’re the de facto main characters by now so i can complain just so much. plus the animation is [chef kiss] tbh, i consider it a TV movie more than an OVA  S3 is another 8/10. a little rushed here and there, but it’s for reasons that ankama couldnt control so they can get a pass. adamai is at his PEAK here and while i think oropo falls a little flat as a villain compared to the others he still made me SUPER emo and, most importantly, im putting him in comparison with villains that i consider Top Notch so he’s still very good. so, overall? a 8/10 crossing fingers for s4 to double down on the epicness of S3 and actually make yugo look his age

So I'm guessing from your teaser of TBTC, you've seen Wakfu Season 3. Thoughts?
Terrible. Absolutely terrible.
If you enjoyed Wakfu S3 and you don’t want to see me just TEAR INTO IT, turn away now! Because this is a RANT INCOMING!
So first and foremost, the big problem is Oropo. They overshot when trying to conceptualize the new biggest threat that could hit the World of Twelve. A guy trying to slay and replace the gods because they left him behind? Good! Solid concept! But he’s also a dark clone of the hero who was accidentally created during the climax of the last arc but we never knew it? Ummm…that’s a bit of a stretch. Also, he’s been around since the beginning of time and influencing history for millennia AAAAAND IT JUST GOT STUPID.
Really, they would’ve been fine if Oropo were just some dude who we’d never met before who was mad at the gods. That’s sympathetic. This whole Eliotrope thing (IT’S THE SAME NAME AS ELIATROPE BUT WITH ONE VOWEL SWITCHED?) is too complicated and just too unbelievable. Also, yeah, let’s not foreshadow this at all and pack all the exposition about why Eliotropes exist into a five-minute flashback.
Not to mention that his messing with history means that most of the threats we’ve dealt with up until now are his fault. We will never not live in a timeline where Nox became Nox BECAUSE OROPO ARRANGED THAT. Which cheapens Nox’s original motivation of “a formerly good man who caused his own destruction, but then, due to the combination of that and an accident, was motivated to change time to undo his mistakes.”
Same case with Ogrest. The OVAs set up a nice background for him about being sad because Otomaï abandoned him, and that was simple enough to understand and tugged at heartstrings. The extended lore of course has the incident about Dathura leaving him, which is again an understandable motivation. And all of this is Ogrest’s own story. It’s his own agency. This is a thing that happens to people. His father abandoned him, his lover betrayed him, and he became so sad, he flooded the world because he can’t control his tears. Oh, but what’s this now? Turns out Dathura didn’t leave him. Oropo just stole her away. Meaning Ogrest’s tragedy is now just a big pile of “Oropo did it again!” and honestly, at this point, we’re just trying to tack the mythos’ biggest tragedies onto the résumé of a subpar villain to make him seem scarier.
Not to mention this is my personal preference, but the whole subplot about Oropo pretending to love Echo when he wanted Amalia all along was really not to my taste. You had the chance to do one of two of my favorite villain tropes: 1) Oropo/Echo as partners in crime who are evil but also in true love, or 2) Oropo as Amalia’s creepy stalker for a whole season, adding the yandere dimension to his villainy and upping his threat level on a personal standard. They did NEITHER.
Also, the fact that Oropo tried to taunt Yugo with visions of Nox and Qilby telling him off for leaving them to terrible fates is 50% wrong. Would Qilby guilt Yugo over stranding him in the White Dimension, and would Yugo feel that guilt? ABSOLUTELY YES. But Nox? Nox left the battlefield to die quietly. He realized the weight of his sins. Nox would NOT guilt Yugo. And Yugo knows he did right by Nox. Oropo doesn’t understand Nox at all, despite being the guy WHO CREATED HIM.
Now, on to some complaints with the new gods in the tower.
We didn’t see the reasons for a lot of them actually WANTING to overthrow the gods. This is supposed to be a group that felt like life left them behind and so wants to take charge of it. The Osamodas girl who wanted to take care of her animals? YES. GOOD. GREAT. THAT’S WHAT THE REST OF THEM SHOULD’VE BEEN LIKE. But we never saw the motivations for most of them. We can assume Ush was just in it for a power grab, Dark Vlad was literally brainwashed, and…why did Black Bump, Toxine, the Sacrier, and Arpagone even want in on this plan? I love action shows that have good battle sequences, but I feel like in a LOT of these cases, the battles against the various new gods usurped us actually getting to KNOW them and SYMPATHIZE with their reasoning for doing this scheme.
I was afraid from day one that they were going to make extended canon stuff that wasn’t easily accessible part of the main series and expect us to just know about it, and Dark Vlad proved me right on that front. I KNOW Dark Vlad was explained in all the comics and spinoffs. But I still don’t have a clear idea of what he is because he wasn’t explained anywhere I saw.
Why even have a Sacrier if we weren’t going to meet her at all?
Black Bump is just a horrid waste of a character. Because we needed a villain with a panty fetish. Oh, wait, no, I guess it’s not a fetish. He just collects panties for completely non-sexual reasons. …WHAT?
Arpagone had ten million years of buildup and ten seconds of payoff. What EXACTLY was the resolution between her and Ruel? (Also, why is Ruel being depicted as a bad guy for avoiding a relationship that would’ve ruined his and Arpagone’s life financially and wound both of them up homeless? I know love is more important than money, but I’ve seen stuff in the real world, and I know you have to be able to balance your standard of living with your relationships. I have a good friend who got into a relationship for love and ended up financially TRASHED and stressed out for three years.)
Then there’s…Amalia and Yugo’s relationship. Hoo boy. So I always thought it would end up with Yugo confessing his love to Amalia and her turning him down because he doesn’t age and is therefore too young for her. But…it’s the other way around? Why is 20-year-old Amalia still interested in eternally-14-year-old Yugo? I love Amalia and I REALLY don’t like the implications surrounding this. I’m just calling it a writing fumble and going on believing that Amalia isn’t a creep. But then it comes out that the real reason Yugo doesn’t want to be in a relationship is because he still thinks Amalia is self-absorbed, which…yes, is her fatal flaw, but isn’t something he ever picked on before that exact moment. She overhears this because of course she does…AND THEY NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO DISCUSS THAT PROBLEM. Which is frustrating as all get-out. I don’t know if they’re saving it for the next season or if they just intend to drop the issue. But, like, why have a communication problem between them if they were never going to solve it? Why leave that thread dangling?
Finally, NO. REMINGTON. SMISSE. We went to all the trouble of canonizing that he survived EVERY near-death experience he suffered in S2 and beyond and then that he is able to travel dimensions without explanation in the OVAs. And…he’s just…gone now? He doesn’t show up? THE AUDIENCE LOVES HIM. HE GOT HIS OWN SPINOFF COMIC BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH PEOPLE LOVE HIM. WHY WOULDN’T YOU. The last time we saw him was with Ush, and they brought USH back and that would have been the PERFECT way to bring Rémy in. But I dunno, maybe they killed him off permanently in his spinoff comic and they just expect us to know that because they refuse to recap the extended canon’s important points in the actual show.
Anyway, S3 basically tried to pack too much into 13 episodes and failed to flesh out any of the concepts it brought up…many of which were garbage to begin with. I’m not sure whether or not I’m on board for S4. I am MORBIDLY curious to see what Ingloriam looks like and meet the gods of the twelve races. But we will NEVER NOT LIVE IN A TIMELINE WHERE OROPO CREATED NOX.

I know, right?! The main villains of the previous seasons had clear, comprehensible reasons for being the way they were. I'm not saying those reasons were adequate justification (at least, not in Qilby's case; Nox's belief that the harm he did would be undone made his actions pretty understandable), but at least I could draw a clear line from their pain to their motives to their actions.
Adamai, on the other hand... even if he felt abandoned by Yugo and the Brotherhood, that doesn't explain the utterly out-of-character depths of depraved stupidity he sank to. His behavior made me think of the opening lines of "Congratulations" from Hamilton.
"Congratulations; You have invented a new kind of stupid A damage you can never undo kind of stupid An open all the cages in the zoo kind of stupid Truly, you didn't think this through, kind of stupid
Let's review it."
His family and friends temporarily traveled without him, and (either beforehand or promptly afterward) gave him clear and reasonable explanations, and then he abandoned them completely with NO explanation beyond "people like you have to be stopped."
He criticized Yugo for putting people in danger, then he hit a pregnant friend in the face so hard that she went flying just for trying to reason with him, and threw another friend off a cliff - in front of their children, who he was supposedly trying to win over to his side - and made his brother watch...
All so that he could kidnap the kids as part of a plot to start a fight with the gods, two of whom were so powerful that they literally created the Krosmos when they didn't even have any worshipers to fuel them, as if that couldn't potentially endanger the same world he scolded Yugo for endangering.
And the intended outcome of this? Adamai even acknowledged it himself: they were trying to replace the gods with children, a gambler, a psychopath, and an underwear collector. An underwear collector who didn't care about consent.
Adamai - once known as the pride of his people, their protector and defender, a dragon with principles and bonds so strong that he could break the possession of Anathar - threw away his family, his friends, his loyalties, his morals, and his honor, all for a plan that involved installing a sex offender as a god.
And who was it that talked him into this? A woman he had just met, and an idiot Eliotrope who blamed Yugo for not helping him... after said Eliotrope actively hid his existence from Yugo since the dawn of time.
(Honestly, I'm still a bit miffed that nobody pointed that out. This is YUGO we're talking about. Mr. "help every random person I encounter who needs my help." If Oropo had actually TOLD Yugo about his plight and asked for his help, BEFORE establishing himself as an enemy, Yugo would have moved mountains to save him.
Sure, Oropo was initially secretive due to his fear of changing history, but given that he caused Ogrest's Chaos, I think it's safe to say there was a point where that went out the window. In short, anyone with half a brain could see that Yugo's neglect of Oropo was 100% Oropo's fault.)
I spent the entirety of Season 3 hoping there would be a good explanation for this nonsense, only to be left wanting. I damn well hope we get a better explanation in Season 4, because as it is, Adamai's transformation was so swift and extreme, his sadism so over the top (not to mention contrary to his goal of winning over the Sadlygrove kids), and his goals so transparently ludicrous, that chalking it all up to "he felt abandoned because Yugo didn't take his advice, leave a friend to die, and leave the source of the flooding unaddressed" would absolutely murder my suspension of disbelief.
Adamai - and the quality of Wakfu as a story - deserve better than this.
(Also, on a meta note, I love your redesign; it looks SO much more like Adamai than his canon teenage face. Yes. Give the boy his nose back.)
Tumblr media
Just finished binging Wakfu on Netflix and BOY OH BOY I have thoughts
One of them is that I really need to stop flooding my tumblr with nothing but wips but oh well
The second is << SPOILERS AHEAD !!>> that they did my man Adamai dirty
I really wished we got more of an in-depth analysis on my lil baby in the season but there’s a massive change they’ll do it in season four but these are just my thoughts as it stands now
It made no sense why he’d be so hateful towards the Gods or so quick to trust the Siblings until you realize baby has been abandoned time and time again by The Brotherhood. Started off when Yugo left him to save Dally, then left him to go on adventures to get the dofus then yet again when he chose to save Dally over heeding Ad’s advice. I can see why he took such pleasure in potentially killing Dally as well as the thought of ending all gods because he, too, has been orphaned by one
But this is all said without the context of the games or manga so I could be waaay off either way I think season 3 was meh but the villains weren’t too bad. Abandonment was the theme of this season
I just wish season 3 did a better job of actually addressing it because NONE of my abandoned babies got a proper apology in my book
They also did Evangeline and Amalia disservice but those are thoughts for another crudely drawn wip

Thoughts about Oropo
Season three spoilers ahead, naturally. Just some rather verbose and rambling speculation, as I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Oropo’s a solid #3 on my ranking of archvillains for the three seasons, but that’s mostly just because Nox was a hard act to follow and I'm very fond of Qilby. Oropo’s motivations were childish in comparison to both... but I think that may have been the point.
tl;dr: Oropo’s rather extreme solution to the problem of absent gods, his willingness to destroy the world, and the generally poorly-thought-through quality of his motivations actually may have two simple-ish explanations. One explanation is suggested by his willingness to cling to ill-founded resentment for hundreds of years, and one is given to us straight from Nox and Qilby: Oropo may not mature emotionally, and Yugo has always been willing to cross lines.
A common criticism I’ve seen about his character and the season is that a lot of his motivation didn’t seem as well-founded as he pretends it is. He feels that he and his people were abandoned by their creator - a creator who (1) didn’t know they existed and (2) hadn’t been born for most of that existence. His anger isn’t entirely unjustified - said creator did act rashly and without thoroughly considering the consequences of his actions, but Oropo’s response seems enormously out of proportion, especially since by being responsible for Ogrest’s Chaos he caused the gods to start keeping their distance in the first place.
Yes, it’s not well-founded, and maybe that’s the point. Oropo’s cause isn’t really based on logic - “the gods don’t help the world” is the justification he gives for his actions, not the reason for them; the real motivation is, of course, more specific - “Yugo didn’t help us”. This is not a character who spent years considering theological conundrums and decided the gods were useless - this is a character who blames his father figure for not being there, and who has (1) generalized this to resentment towards all deities in order to (let’s be honest about this) rebuild the family he found in the Brotherhood of Tofu out of other frustrated demigods and (2) held on to that resentment even after having had centuries to let go, knowing that Yugo had no way of knowing the Eliotropes existed.
He lived for a very long time and never forgave the person he thought wronged him, even knowing that Yugo (1) couldn’t have known, (2) couldn’t have helped them anyway, and (3) would be tremendously remorseful about it if he had known, and would have helped if he could. Does that sound like illogical and unrealistic antagonist motivation? Maybe. But you know what it also sounds like? Emotional immaturity. It sounds like a teenager with less-than-great parents, lashing out at authority figures.
Here’s a theory: Yugo doesn’t grow physically at a normal rate, but he is maturing emotionally at a (reasonably?) normal level. But Eliotropes are parts of him, soulless sort-of-people who, while they are their own independent beings, are also a reflection of someone who at the time was (mentally speaking) a teenager. Oropo aged physically where Yugo didn’t - but perhaps he’s still stuck emotionally where Yugo was during the OVAs, in terms of learning to forgive, learning to move on, and not considering consequences through fully. Yes, his (and the other Eliotropes’) circumstances were tragic, but blaming that on someone who was never really at fault, letting that anger fester and lashing out irrationally (he caused the dang time loop in the first place), without thinking the situation through? Oropo just never grew up.
What else did Yugo do at that age? Well, he nearly destroyed the world by using his six dofus against Ogrest’s. Yugo was willing to risk that to help Pinpin (his way of reassuring Ad, IIRC, was “I’ll be careful!”). So how, really, could we expect any different from Oropo? He collected people who had similar experiences, similar feelings of abandonment, and he joined them together for this goal, but they weren’t willing to destroy a world for the sake of their anger. There was a line they wouldn’t cross. But as dream-Nox and dream-Qilby said: Yugo has always been willing to cross lines, to sacrifice anything, to stop what he perceives as unjust.
Basically, I just think what’s been criticized as not-great plot choices could be seen as a natural extension of what we already know about Yugo’s character, and by extension, Oropo’s.
...Or rather, I admit that they’re not-great plot choices, and this is my way of “justifying” them so that I can watch the last couple of episodes without rolling my eyes. I can’t even try to justify the time loop, though. That still really, really bothers me. Oreo, Master of Fate. Why.

The Outcasts- chapter 10
Since Adamai brought Lady Echo new allies/soldiers/prisoners/pets (delete what You want), it has been a week (and three days). Kira was quite fast in teaming up with Kalmia, Robin and Lucky. They frowned at the fact that their new acquaintance did not want to give up her religion, but Kira claimed that death was the only sure thing in life. Yaga, besides conducting the sparring with the demigods (apart from Echo, Adamai, the Iop and a small blue-eyed girl), was involved in the production of some sort of specifics that, as she claimed, kept her alive ("You have two options, my dear. You will agree and I will be a good, nasty reptile, or you will not agree, I'll end up drugs and I will die, and it's hard to find another shit of my species"). There was also suspicion that she was doing some mysterious rituals there (but for who?), but no one caught her during the act yet. And Qilby...
"AAAACHOOO!!!!" The Eliatrope sneezed with such force that the hood of the protective mantle slipped off his head, scarcely taking his hat down also, and the laboratory glass clattered on the shelves and tables.
"For God's sake, go to a medic or something!" roared Yaga with all her kindness while sitting in her new lab, right next to (of course) the Count's laboratory (now Qilby's).
"I can't!!!" Qilby screamed equaly kindly as he put his hood back "I've got a job to do!"
One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important, Yaga sighed mentaly, and she said aloud:
"They don't acknowledge a sick notes here?!!!"
"Go back to your task, woman!"
"Go to a medic!"
And the show was going on, over and over again.
---------------------------------
After the next three hours, Qilby was completely frozen and couldn't even tease with Yaga. Fortunately, it alarmed her, because it could have been much worse. With the force she entered to the lab (the Masqueraider guarding the scientist happened to disappear somewhere) and carried Qilby on her back to Robin's cave, where at least was warm.
Robin, Kalmia, Lucky, the "Nameless" Maskarad and (recently) Kira were one of the many Brotherhood's operating teams and, as one of the most effective ones, were given a small set of egg-shaped caves under the Cursed Citadel, which served as their sleeping quarters with large central grotto as a living room.
Yaga lifted Qilby on her shoulders to release one hand and knocked to the round wooden door.
"What?!" snarled Kalmia from other side.
"A bowl of broth, for a poor, unfortunate soul!" Yaga replied.
"Bleah" announced Qilby, who scorned a broth as an dishonor to the noble art of preaparing a meat.
"And a little water with soap, for the other, sweaty soul could wash herself..." Then the door opened wide and there was Robin smiling wide.
"Be our guest*," said cheerfully the dark-haired Cra.
--------------------------------
In some places, magic is extremely anxious and sensitive to the emotions of beings able to contact with Her. It was therefore logical that by the presence of so many demigods and the burning anger of the one ivory dragon, the energy in the Cursed Citadel was... unstable. Lady Echo did her best to neutralize this 'hiccup'. She began to send some demigods to other hideouts or to the Tower of Dreams, something like the Brotherhood's headquarters. But the most pressing problem was Adamai. Whoever was his mother, this whole Goddess, gave her offspring a big, raw power that slipped out of control, mainly thanks to the young dragon's relative. Qilby and Adamai hated each other and any of them intended to give up. The wisest way out was to teach the ivory dragon greater self-control. Something that Grougarolagan and Balthazar apparently neglected. But who said that all dragons are reasonable?
"Focus, brother Adamai," whispered Lady Echo, while the multicolored ribbons of magic flowed between her and the young ivory dragon. They sat together on the floor of her office and tried to master the magic of the Eliatrope Goddess in body of one from her sons. "Calm your emotions, control anger. The key to full control over your power, yours and your sisters and brothers is serenity. Complete serenity..."
"Lady Echo!" A guard with a bandaged head came into the office (it was the same one Kira knocked out last week) with a scroll in his hand.
"What now?!!!!" the furious woman roared, spreading her unmatching wings, and her yellow eyes glowing scary.
"I'm-... I'm-... I'm sorry, my lady!" The unlucky soldier crouched before the daughter of the goddess Eniripsa. "But an important report from the South came and...!
"Which post?" Echo interrupted him, trying to calm herself down and hide her emotions, but a note of anxiety crept into her cool voice .
"Dragon Mausoleum," the man rasped and handed his Mistress a scroll sealed stamped with wax seal with the post symbol. The wax was black, which, according to the Brotherhood's findings, meant the highest priority information. The last time they used these markings in the news was when Master Joris set out to look for the six Eliatrope Dofus.
Lady Echo quickly opened the message and began to read. With every sentence her eyes grew wider and wider. No, that could not happen... Not now! But He warned her that something like that exists and might reveal itself sometime. And their spy in the Suffokatian research team just confirmed this. But why now? Now when Pandora's Box was almost complete?! That could change completly force arrangement!
"We are the closest," she whispered, then looked at the guard and worried Adamai, "Brother, I have to talk to you in private"
The guard quickly escaped, and Echo made sure no one was listening near her door.
"It has to stay between us, Adamai," the woman said softly. "It can be a very bad turn of events..."

"Bleah" snapped Qilby, sending a bowl of broth on his lap a particularly disgusted look.
"Eat, not complain" Yaga jagged washing her neck "Or I plug your nose like a little brat's and I pour this soup right into your throat"
"Just try it" the Eliatrope bared his incisors, but he reached for a spoon and began to eat slowly (of course, making faces). Yaga's face filled in with a triumphant smile.
"Tell me..." Robin sat down next to the dark haired "With Kira we explained the Thing... And I'd like to know... how is it with you and..."
"If you're wondering if I'm inclined to come in with you in a more intimate relationship that's likely to end up with some kind of party on your mattress..." Yaga sighed heavily like the person who had been in such a situation so many times that she could calmly guess what Robin wanted to say to her even before he will think about it "the answer is no."
"Damn, woman, are you refusing everyone?" now Robin was pissed when he suddenly remembered something "I'm too low in the hierarchy for You?"
"That I was trying to seduce your boss-lady doesn't mean I was planning to go to bed with her!" Yaga snapped "That was a joke. When I see someone as rigid as an accountant in a gypsum I must mock! Loose the atmosphere! Otherwise I would go crazy. Now you follow?"
"Okay, good, you wanted to make a fun of Lady Echo... But what about me? What are your reasons to say no?"
"Put it that way... I have no problem with your appearance. You are also likable person, or at least I see you so... But I am temporarily resting from relationships. We understand each other?"
"Oh... Was he mean? Abusive?"
"First: it was she. And no, nobody hit anyone. It just... it didn't work out"
Robin may not have noticed this, but Qilby sensed a slight tremor in her voice. Contrary to what she said, her forward relationship didn't just 'work out'. Something went wrong, terribly damn wrong.
"Get up!" screamed, who suddenly appeared at the door. Everyone jumped up. "Robin, prepare your ship! Rest, pack up! You too, Traitor" here he looked with disgust at Qilby.
"Wait, what?!" Robin approached the young dragon with a sharp resentment on his face "What 'prepare the ship'?! This is my property and I will tell you when it can go on a cruise!"
"That's an order, not suggestion" that was the dragon's last word in this case and he walked away "You have one hour"

* Sorry, Guys, I couldn't stop myself! XD
Finally, a next chapter I promised You to add shortly after my return from Italy. Well, I hope I manage to do this before deadline, which Your patience gave me. Next one will be rather short. I will also try to add some parts focused on other characters, because I suck when I have to deal with too many characters and guess what I'm doing EVERY. F*CKING. TIME. When I'm writing something. I create more characters than I can handle.
I'm some kind of goddamnit masochist.
