Cause they are in my head, here are some dumb headcanons for Shirou raising little kid Michiru and Nazuna
Nazuna was the type of kid who always has to be around her parent so she would just follow Shirou around and sometimes hold onto his tail
Michiru on the other hand would always run off and keep nearly killing herself but had little kid durability
Michiru was straight-up indestructible
Shirou is just talking to Rose or some other serious company while Naz is just sitting in his lap weaving together flowers Shirou helped her pick. Nazuna just turns around in Shirou's lap and puts a newly made flower crown on his head before going back to fiddling with flowers. Shirou gives a little "thank you" and a nod without blinking and instantly goes back to his conversation
Marie made a little thing of finding every way to scare little Michi and Naz but to Shirou's bewilderment kept them liking her
The girls would call Rose "Granny"
Shirou would watch Bluey with the girls and quietly take mental notes from Bandit and Chili
Shirou regularly asked himself "What would Bandit and Chili do in this situation?" when raising the girls
Michiru would sometimes hide stuff from guests if she liked them since it meant they got to stay for longer
When they first met Alan Michiru brought him his bag and shoes as soon as he even hinted at leaving
Michiru was incredibly bitey as a pup and would chew on anything so Shirou had to find a million lifehacks to keep her from chewing on important things
Shiro would give Michiru frozen bagels to chew on
Shirou was so worried about Michiru's teeth cause she kept biting things
It was incredibly hard to teach the girls to properly shapeshift since Michi hated being in her human form and Naz would feed off her stubbornness
There is an ongoing debate on which of the girls is older
No one besides Shirou knows where either of the girls came from, Shirou just was suddenly buying supplies for two six-year-olds and posting photos of them on his unused social media accounts
It took like a solid three years before Shirou started calling them his daughters and would instead find every other term possible
Shirou does not have a response for where the mother is
Shirou took single-dad classes to learn how to take care of the girls' hair
When the girls' powers came in Shirou was so lost
Michiru kept throwing herself off stuff to try and fly with her new wings
One time Nazuna stretched out her arms and couldn't turn them back so she cried till she threw up
If left unattended Nazuna would get into the pantry and eat the weirdest things like whole jars of peanut butter, flour, or vinegar
Nazuna's tail would always be dirty cause she had a habit of dragging it behind her and Shirou could never get her to walk with her tail up
Michiru would eat and chew on weird plants in the garden
Shirou's closet is just filled with photos of Michiru's little league basketball games and Nazuna's children's theater performances
Nazuna and Michiru would play the most disturbed games with their toys
One time in elementary school a kid tried to bully Nazuna and Michiru bit them till she tasted blood. Shirou's only response was "Good."
Nazuna would try to crack open rocks to try and find gems
Michiru would bring Nazuna as many rocks as she could carry while they looked for gemstones
Shirou has a box where he keeps all the cool rocks his kids bring him
No one knows the girls' birthdays so they just have one "Super Birthday" once a year for both of them
Multiple times there were issues where people thought the girls weren't Shirou's since he's a big scary man with kids that look nothing like him
All of Michi and Naz's friends' parents trusted their kids with Shirou since they both knew he wouldn't hurt them but also that he wouldn't let a single bad thing happen to them
The girls became incredibly good at stealing shit out of Marie's bag partially just to mess with her
People keep saying Michiru needs to be tested for ADHD or Autism. Shirou has yet to do this. People also think he should be tested
Michiru was the type of kid to come inside after playing outside with her pockets either full of cool rocks and dirt or small animals

A Premature Burial Episode 4
A Premature Burial
Episode 4
Season: Winter
Characters: Kuro, Nazuna, Mika, Shu
Tumblr media
Shu: However, if you use your brain, you should be able to speculate for yourself.
This is simply a villa, and the Itsuki family's main residence is in Kansai. That’s why I go back to the “countryside” often during new year’s and such.
Because of the trouble I had in the surrounding area, I met you.
Mika: Nnah, I always wondered what Oshisan was doin’ in my hometown… Huh, but when ya ran away from home with Ryu-kun-san ya didn’t say anythin’?
Shu: I suppose it was around that destination. At the time, my world was extremely narrow, I knew practically nothing of the region.
Well, after all, I coludn’t get anywhere with my child’s feet, and my little childhood adventure came to an end with no accomplishments—
Mika: That’s where I got t’ meet ya~? Besides, Oshisan can go wherever now, right?
Shu: I wonder. Even if I’m able to discuss art in a foreign language with westerners in Paris, my flesh and blood are still held captive by this suffocating building.
That’s the feeling I have. Humans can simply never be free from their bonds.
Things will always come along to firmly restrict us. Like a marionette with tangled strings.
Mika: Oshisan…
Shu: Ah, what a strange thing to say. I don’t think we should be standing around talking by the eaves, shall we go in?
While we’re at it, answer me this first, the reason I brought you here is because I don’t want to meet with my family alone. Do I need any other reason?
Mika: But, yer family ain’t that scary.
Shu: They aren’t particularly scary, but we don’t have a good relationship. The hierarchy that has been instinctively ingrained into me since childhood is certainly not something that can be ignored.
On that point, if you’re here my family more or less have to keep up their appearance, thus they will go easy on us and I’ll be spared. They too have somewhat taken a liking to you.
Mika: Even though the first time I came here I completely ignored ‘em… I guess I was just real confused and surprised that Oshisan took me in so suddenly.
But I feel like it took some time fer me to open up. If we were gonna live together under one roof, I should express my feelin’s normally.
Aha. first the orphanage, then Oshisan’s house, now Starmony Hall… If I really think about it, I’ve always lived with other people.
Shu: If you’re not happy with that then find a family that you truly wish to live with from now on.
You have hands and feet for that. You have a free soul that is bound by no one. Neither god nor person can stop you from doing that.
Tumblr media
Nazuna: Hell~o, Kagehira?
Hmm. You’ve arrived at Itsuki’s house and dropped off your luggage so you’re taking a little break?
So you thought it’d get busy in the morning, and had an early lunch so you could call at noon.
Since Itsuki hurriedly booked a flight and arrived home late, you waited to join him…
Yeah. He didn’t plan on coming home as normal, so he arrived a little later than you.
Hm? It’s lunchtime for me, so I’m just eating lunch as normal?
Yeah… Kuro-chin thinks he can persuade me, he’s using the excuse that he “made too much” to serve me his home cooking…
Kuro: I’m not giving up, Nito.
Nazuna: Hm~… I’ll introduce you to Tomo-chin, I don’t think he’ll resist since he’s always made to wear girls' clothes.
Kuro: I think Nito is a better fit.
Nazuna: I’d rather hear you say that in a completely different situation too… Well, if I’m substituting for your little sister I guess it’s a little different to crossing.
No, whether I like it or not, isn’t it just regular old crossdressing? I don’t get anything out of it?
Kuro: It’s okay. Have some self confidence, Nito, you’re definitely cuter than any other girls.
Nazuna: I’m not happy… You’re so stubborn. That’s exactly what I’d expect from Itsuki’s childhood friend— You’re really similar.
Whatever. Anyway, Kagehira, not to be overbearing, but if anything happens get in touch right away.
Ra*bits have gotten into a strange situation where we’re slowly getting less work, so I have free time. Yeah, I’m not trying to interfere just for fun.
I know I’m not powerless… Maybe I just want to prove that I am able to help someone.
Kuro: You don’t need to prove it. At least right now, you’re helping me.
Nazuna: Oh~ Geez~ What a pain~ You were never the type to whine like this, Kuro-chin? Are you feeling alright?
Kuro: I’ve got a lot of stuff going on. I want to grow out of the dependable, understanding big brother type that doesn’t cause trouble for anyone.
No. I’m in the middle of searching for who I am and what I want to do.
Nazuna: Is that trying to ask your closest male friend to wear elementary school girl’s clothes…? If that’s your true nature you should hide it and not show it to anyone, it’s weird.
Kuro: That’s so mean, I asked you because you’re my closest friend.
Nazuna: Hmph. Oh well, it’s rude to be on my phone while I’m eating, so I’ll hang up. I don’t really understand— but do what you can.
It must be tough looking after Itsuki. But that’s what you want to do… Kagehira♪

ALL US BEASTS TOGETHER
Chapter 1
A single, bright flame. That's what Shirou thought when he first saw you.  You looked so vibrant compared to the crowd in which you stood. Like them, you had come to witness Mayor Rosa speak to the masses of Anima City and to offer your support.  Your eyes glittered as you took in every word, a soft smile on your lips. Your ears twitched with each euphoric cheer of the people around you, catching his eye as he stood at the Mayor's side. It had been a year or so since the Sylvastra incident and things were making progress towards normality. Shirou, with the help of Michiru, Nazuna and all the others they had come across along the way, were ensuring that. Even the Family were doing their part, an arrangement that still somewhat shocked him.  As the speech came to a close Shirou followed the Mayor's lead, but not before casting his gaze over to you as he turned to leave. That's when your eyes met his, brief yet intense, and he almost stopped breathing. You blazed like the sun, looking at him with such a ferocious love for your people that it consumed him. Then, the moment was gone.
He turned away and left, as did you, as the crowd cried out in unity. Honestly, he hadn't expected to see you again after that. Especially not sitting on a bench watching Michiru and a few other girls playing basketball. Being so close he could take in your scent - lavender, jasmine, and the spiced latte you were cradling between your hands - and the details of your face. You were pretty, naturally so, and warm. He could tell from the way you looked that the girls, supporting them and encouraging them without even uttering a word. He liked that.  He was starting to like you. And he didn't even know your name.  "Shirou!" Michiru called, waving from her place on the court while her teammates giggled in the background.  They had crushes on him because they thought he was mysterious and attractive. He found the whole thing silly. With a smile Shirou waved back, coming to stand beside the bench you were sitting on. There was a simple kind of peace he had come to enjoy when watching Michiru play, seeing the excitement in her eyes. It made his chest swell with pride. "She's really talented, you must be very proud." The softness of your voice caught him off guard and as he turned to look at you with wide eyes he's met with the same look that he saw at the speech. Fire. It danced in your eyes, like fireworks. He's stunned and your smile turns coy when he responds with only a small, singular nod of his head. Thankfully, you don't press the issue and turn your gaze back to the girls, who have now returned to their game.  He already missed the intensity of your gaze. "I'm ___, by the way," you speak again, still soft and smiling and warm.  "Shirou," he answered, voice gruff with nerves. He hadn't thought you would disarm him so easily with your natural charm. Hadn't accounted for being so weak to the kindness you gave, freely and unprompted. "It's nice to finally meet you," you say after taking a sip of your latte, your ears following the pounding of the ball on the concrete, "you don't look so scary up close."  You don't laugh out loud but he can see how it makes your eyes shine and your lips quirk at the corners when you peek up at him through your lashes.  It reminds him of Michiru; she's never been fazed by him either and it makes him feel less of an outsider. He's glad that you're not scared of him, because he doesn't want you to be. You're a single, bright flame and he wants to be consumed by you.  When he doesn't respond your smile falters and your brow creases in uncertainty and he's suddenly all too aware of how he hasn't got the slightest idea about small talk or how to keep it going.  Deciding it better for you to act instead, you shuffle along on the bench without a word, making more room than necessary.  "Would you like to sit?" The patter of your hand against the wood is muted by your soft fur.  He's quick to take you up on your offer. There's an arms length between you but Shirou was hyper aware of your presence next to him. That scent of lavender and jasmine drifted over him and before he could stop himself he'd taken a deep breath. Exhaling quickly, his eyes give you a quick once over before he speaks.  "You're in your beast form," he points out, trying to distract himself from your scent, from you, and utterly failing at both.  It doesn't go amiss how your kind smile falters and your gaze flicks to the ground.  "Does it bother you?" You question stiffly, ears pinning back against your head. You knew that being in beast form was seen as a challenge, but after so long of pretending to be something you were not you took every chance you could to be yourself; your true self. Wishing he hadn't said anything at all after how defensive you became, Shirou opens his mouth to backtrack but then he gets an idea.  A shiver of excitement ripples down his spine at the sight of your wide eyes when he shifts, suddenly a dashing silver wolf instead of his human guise. Your ears stand to attention and your tail thumps against the bench excitedly before you quickly collect yourself.  "A wolf!" You laugh, eyes sparkling with mirth. "I should have known. You look good!" The compliment comes easily to you and Shirou is glad that you're already looking back to Michiru and the others, that fond look upon your face.  That way you can't see him blush. Once again you give him your affection so easily. It clearly comes naturally to you, in a way that Shirou can’t quite understand, but he doesn’t mind it. In fact, he could get used to it. He could get used to you.

Michiru & Shirou Thoughts
Binge-watched BNA last night.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It was cute and fun to watch. Most of all, I really appreciated the development of Michiru and Shirou’s relationship, and I wanted to write a bit a lot (channeling the former English major in me) because I’m sad there isn’t more content about them, and clearly, the relationship is integral both the narrative and each character's growth. Contains spoilers for BNA.
I want to talk about their relationship in general, but I first want to address what I have perceived as the conventional interpretations of their relationship on the interwebz.
Shipping? Romance?
On one hand, I totally understand many people not seeing them romantically - there's not much explicit evidence for it in the show--no random blushing, no side characters teasing them about their feelings, no kisses or anything close. Indeed, I think anything like that in the show would feel uncharacteristic of both Michiru and Shirou as we know them, especially since they don’t really grow closer until 3/4 of the way through the series. And I also understand that Shirou not only looks older than Michiru, but also is technically a thousand years old and immortal regardless of how childish he may sometimes act, so for many people that’s not acceptable or appealing.
Certain scenes could be construed as having romantic undertones (rather than simply just showing they care for each other, which is pretty incontrovertible)--I’m thinking mostly when Shirou jumps off a building to rescue her in episode 3. While I think this can be also be explained as conveying his general heroism and concern for beastmen, rather than being romantic, I think the inclusion of it in the story and the heightened drama surrounding it adds to an element of romance (I’m reminded of Guts and Casca’s fall in Berserk). Similar things could be said about their confrontation in episode 11.
I also think it's not beyond the realm of possibility (i.e. fanfiction) for there to be romantic development between them down the line, especially with Michiru staying in Animacity, and I personally do ship them because of my personal tastes (the aloof guy with the cheerful girl trope is v appealing to me) and because I love the development of their understanding of one another (which I elaborate on below).
Daddy Shirou?
At the same time, I'm somewhat bewildered by the popular reading of their relationship as one between a father and daughter. I get that it could seem that way from the promotional material, and also that it's cute and maybe mostly a meme (in which case, sorry for taking it seriously), but I honestly think there's not much support in the show for that kind of dynamic in their interactions beyond superficial things, like Shirou being older that Michiru, often protecting her, and giving her food (which happens on-screen, like, once).
Not only that, I think this label feels unnatural because it undermines Michiru's roles in their relationship and makes her seem like someone Shirou needs to care for. Instead, I'd argue that so often (and more and more as the series goes on), Michiru serves as more of an equal to Shirou, and their relationship is one of mutual trust and respect.
This doesn't mean that there aren't obvious power imbalances in their relationship--again, Shirou being older and being a super powerful immortal god, him having close ties to the mayor and literally serving as Michiru's social worker at one point, as well as him generally being more savvy about beastmen and Animacity. Significantly, Michiru also just perceives Shirou as older--in episode 3, she refers to him as an "adult," and in episode 10 she calls him a “stubborn geezer,” suggesting that she recognizes his older age. In contrast, Michiru is apparently 18 and still has high school student vibes, and at the beginning of the series, she clearly is ignorant and naive about many aspects of beastmen life and Animacity.
Despite these things, I think Michiru has power in their relationship because she erodes the dogmatic assumptions that Shirou has about humans and beastmen. This happens as early as episode 2, when Shirou is adamant that it's impossible for Michiru to be a human because "Humans are humans. Beastmen are beastmen." (Indeed, Michiru turns out to be right about most of what she says to him in that scene--her condition is termed as a “disease” later in the series, and there is someone else like her--namely, Nazuna.)
Not only does Michiru have power in their relationship because of this, but Shirou also recognizes Michiru's independence and agency. In episode 4, when he learns that she has left Animacity, he says she can "do what she wants." When the mayor tells him to get retrieve Nina and Michiru, he ruffles his hair, clearly annoyed, suggesting he doesn't see her as his responsibility (beyond, of course, his general concern for beastman wellbeing). He even doesn't go to the party himself to get the girls, but rather asks Michiru to return Nina--and act of trust that Marie even comments on. They also clearly have no qualms about roasting each other, as evidenced at their interchange of insults at the end of the episode. Here, if anything, their relationship resembles bickering siblings more than a father and daughter.
Additionally, we see Michiru growing to be able to hold her own with Shirou in the action sequences. Indeed, Michiru begins to be able to actually help Shirou with the enemies they face as her knowledge of her beastman capacities, rather than just needing to be rescued. I’d say we first see this in episode 7, when Michiru sprouts wings that allow her to save the falling Shirou and also help him catch up with the airborne Pinga. Then we see Michiru stepping up to help Shirou take down the rampaging Yaba in episode 8. Not only does she play an integral role in subduing him--it’s her wings that allow him to be transported to a remote place (where Shirou can then go Ginrou-mode), but it’s also here that we see Shirou and Michiru’s partnership really start to kick off. I find their teamwork pretty endearing, as they grow to trust one another--Michiru challenges Shirou’s independence and forces him to rely on her, and Shirou actually allows her to help and gives her directions. This doesn’t mean that Michiru unquestioningly accepts Shirou’s orders (for example, she pushes back when he tells her to drop them in the warehouse), but it’s clear that even when she doesn’t always agree with him, she’s willing to trust him.
Indeed, rather than their relationship being one of great power difference, I think they actually grow to have a pretty balanced amount of power in their interactions with one another (as much power as is possible given the aforementioned situational differences between them). Just as Michiru challenges Shirou’s conception of humans and the rigidity of the division between the two races, Michiru also recognizes her own lack of understanding about Shirou and of beastmen. More than that, he makes her aware of her own prejudices about him (just as he challenges his prejudices).
Really, I’d say episode 9 is probably the strongest case for their relationship being something like a father-daughter relationship, but I think the dynamic is ultimately subverted. Shirou comes in with food for Michiru to lift her spirits (classic Asian parenting) while telling her not to go near certain places. Probably the most paternal we’ve seen him. Yet her response to the food she gets is not one of simple gratitude or even ingratitude toward a caregiver, but one that shows she is learning more about him and is willing to tease him (“I was thinking how a thousand year old person is so different.”) And also, because Michiru is her own person, she defies the restrictions he lays out--not out of rebellion against him, but out of her own friendship with Nazuna. Evidently, even when Shirou tries to guide Michiru in a father-like way, she responds in a way that subverts that dynamic.
Mutual Respect & Understanding (aka in which I gush about them)
Instead of a father-daughter relationship, Shirou and Michiru grow to have a relationship founded on respect for one another and a burgeoning understanding of each other’s differences. They care for and encourage one another and help each other grow, and I think that’s awesome regardless of whether or not you have hope for a romance between them.
I love how Michiru, whom Nazuna accuses of rushing into things based on her assumptions and an egocentric sense of justice, humbly recognizes not just her lack of knowledge about Shirou after learning his divine identity, but also the lack of effort she put into trying to know him. Not only that, but in episode 12, she is able to recognize Shirou as one who is “so sad and miserable, but still thinking about others,” rather than the offputting scary crying wolfman she met in the first episode. She knows that there are fundamental differences between her as a human and him as a beastman (in contrast to Nazuna, who says in episode 11 that “Humans and beastmen aren’t all that different”), but she is nonetheless able to understand him. She literally transforms into a wolf in order to track him down, using the acute sense of smell that is his trademark.
I love how she grows to understand why he turned into Ginrou during the festival. I love how, when she confronts him in episode 11, she starts with an apology for not understanding his feelings about the vaccine, when she should be the one to understand him most. I think basic but important things like these, like apologizing for not paying more attention to how someone else is feeling, is one of the reasons why I really appreciate Michiru as a character.
Likewise, Shirou learns to humble himself and trust someone else, as well as better understands a human. I love how he eventually just accepts that Michiru will want to help him when he goes off to fight. I love how he apologizes himself when Michiru confronts him in episode 11, and how he explains his intentions to her without holding anything back. I love how he thanks her for saving him from the Nirvasyl syndrome, how he chooses not to kill Alan when reminded of how Michiru does not like killing, how he encouragingly says that she can return to her human form soon (even if that means her leaving Animacity, which it’s implied would sadden him). Even his overlooking of baseball gambling, even if somewhat questionable, is sweet if you read it as him doing it because he knows Michiru enjoys it.

have you read the last drk volume yet? idk if you read japanese well or not but itd be cool if you could spoil the ending :3c
i haven’t finished it, bc i was going reread from the beginning but i took a look at the ending for you. im glad i did. yui’s birthday is august 31st, which is Independence Day in my country. she’s a virgo. ive been wanting that info since 2013. drk ending spoilers under the cut
yui, as theorized from the start, died. she was killed in an explosion in the Sirius observatory where her and kirigiri first met, and that’s also how kirigiri hurts her hands. some of yuis final thoughts were that she wishes that she could’ve been better, lived a life without making mistake — that she were a talented detective instead of just some normal stupid high school girl. she could’ve been able to protect kirigiri. in the end, yui thinks, i couldn’t protect a single thing.
kirigiri begs yui to stay with her, to live, that kirigiris going to make sure she’s going home alive, hold on, pull yourself together, please, but yui accepts her fate, and thanks kirigiri. her last words are her apologizing for treating her like a criminal and asking how she could make it up to her because at this rate she’ll..... and her last thoughts are about kirigiri too:
you were right all along, so stand proud. oh, cherry blossom petals. they’re beautiful, aren’t they, kirigiri-chan? you’re very.......
samidare yui dies.
kyouko kirigiri wakes up in a hospital bed with ruined hands, she wants to see yui. she ends up meeting salvador, and the girls from the saint annes academy, tsukiyo and nazuna from the libra girls academy case that was in vol 4 & 5 I believe?? (check jess’ blog bc I’m still working through them) because they also knew yui. salvador goes over her injuries—hypothermia, severe burns on her hands—and says it’s a miracle she survived
“and what about yui-oneesama?” kirigiri asked. those were the first words she spoke in that hospital.
“about her...” yadorigi turned away, and the time he spent grasping for words was more than enough of an answer. kirigiri could easily guess what came next: “It was too late for her.”
“i see...”
kirigiri turned to face the curtain, and her reaction baffled the girls and tsukiyo who was with salvador. why the fuck wasn’t kirigiri crying?! she loved yui, didn’t she? they were friends right?! where was kirigiris heart?! don’t you pity her at the very least?! are you even human?! such and such. salvador tells her to cut it out. though even though kirigiri didn’t outwardly emote, she was doing her thing compartmentalizing her emotions unhealthily which was the family way u know.
in the end, tsukiyo weeps all by herself, and nazuna holds onto her. meanwhile kirigiris low key having a crisis
even still, am i detective? kirigiri asked herself. is she willing to die as a detective? she’s not a detective for the sake of helping other people, that’s just how she was bred and raised. however, the days spent by yuis side taught her that even she could feel helpless — she thought she was proud to be born as a detective, but maybe she was just clinging onto that to compensate for something else. in the end, there’s no one to protect her, and no one, not even she herself, could save the the person dearest to her.
salvador starts talking about the committee and shinsen will being passed along to new people. they need her help. but kirigiri’s angsting really really hard and says no. in her own words: 今さら自分に何ができるというの。霧響子はもう死んだ。あの日、彼女と一緒に。
but what can she do now, on her own? kirigiri kyouko has already died. she died that day, together with her (yui).
so yeah she’s having an awful time. and she gets discharged when the cherry blossoms start falling and covering the dreary snow. neat! the irony! she goes back to Sirius bc there was a crossbow missing from the scene, and she won’t rest until this one incident is solved. shen then figures out who fucked her and yui over so bad. it could only be him, it could only be shinsen fucking mikado.
we then learn her grandpa was detained bc he was a suspect in shinsens murder, and she talked to him about yui. kirigiri gets upgraded to dsc 910. she finally has a 0 on her card like she always wanted... she can’t feel happy about it. this number doesn’t mean anything to her, anymore.
she gets a letter from yui, that she wrote in case she died first. talking about how she knew one day that she couldn’t be there for her forever, but she hoped she could take some of kirigiris burdens from her, or maybe she just made everything worse. yui had her own baggage, and couldn’t support her properly, but yui knows one day she’ll have people who love and support her like yui did, like she wanted to. she tells her to take breaks and to take care of herself — yui says she’s knows she’s more trouble than she’s worth, so thank you for sticking with her kirigiri-chan. and goodbye.
she remembers a conversation she had with salvador—yui saved her, and now she’s gone . like all the times before that, yui used her body to cover her so she wouldn’t freeze to death after the building exploded, and kirigiri couldn’t help her.
“hey, kirigiri-chan, did I take some of that weight off your shoulders?”
everything is silent. no cars on the road, no sound.
kirigiri loses her shit, she breaks down completely despite trying so hard to suppress her feelings.
emotions are not needed when it comes to detectives... she’s been following that adage all her life, so why is it so hard to follow now? why can’t she stop tearing up? she’s ruining her bandages with how much she’s scrubbing her eyes from crying. finally she just falls to her knees and wails. she’s sorry, she’s so sorry yui-oneesama. she keeps calling her name, willing her to just pop in right next to her, because she knows she just needs to call her name, and yui will trip over herself to come to help her. yui-oneesama will definitely come save her. big sis yui. big sis yui....
so she’s not okay! and I’m not ok. I am crying. there’s a time skip where kirigiri goes to yuis hometown to visit her grave. she’s happy to see that other people gave her offerings too, she sets flowers down and prays, and asks her to keep watching over her.
She calls salvador and agrees to help. years pass and she goes to hopes peak. naegi finds her dsc after she dropped it, bc he was looking for something sakura threw. naegis like wtf is this also are u on a job how old were u when u started being a detective and kirigiris like UGHHHH go away but then she’s like... hmmm whomst is this little twink
the last lines of the book are “fine then, let’s have a chat, naegi-kun.”

Welcome to Paris Fur-ance Ch 12: Bakeries, Baddies, and Beatdowns
Michiru leads Nazuna on their merry hunt, and Shirou does Shirou things, a.k.a. beating the crap out of bad guys unworthy of his claws.
Also, BOTH HALVES HAVE MUSIC IN THEM! I chose to use a You-Tube link for them, so if you phone users are having issues, I apologize.
On top of that, THIS CHAPTER HAS SOME TRIGGERS! If you’re not comfortable with Gun Violence, Kidnapping, or Murder, Please be warned that the three all happen in this chapter.
Michiru sniffed the air, for what was probably the hundredth time, before humming. “I think he’s... this way.”
Nazuna just rolled her eyes as they walked down yet another random street. “Michiru, just admit you’re lost.”
His had been going on for the past few hours. Michiru would sniff the air, trying to use her sense of smell to track Shirou. The only problem was, she wasn’t allowed to use her beastman form. She would have, but Nazuna kept reminding her that they would cause a panic if she did.
It almost made Michiru want another weirdo to show up and start making the city explode. At least then, she could feel comfortable in her fur.
“We’re not lost; We’re wandering aimlessly.” Michiru dictated as she continued her march. “In fact, his smell has led me to,” Suddenly turning and pointing in a random direction, Michiru posed dramatically, “there!”
Nazuna kept staring at the bakery Michiru had managed to lead them to. It was fairly sized, being the literal end of the string of buildings, and was painted a pretty shade of white. It had many stories to it, but only the bottom floor was built for business.
Looking behind them, Nazuna also saw the school that Michiru had first arrived at and facepalmed. “Of course...” She’d been following her own scent this entire time. It wasn’t surprising, considering Michiru was trying to do everything while still human, but that did little to change Nazuna’s annoyance.
Michiru wasted no time as she started to walk inside and waved a hand lazily behind her. “Well, let’s find out if Shirou’s here!”
“Michiru! Wait-!” Groaning as she dragged a hand down her face, Nazuna ran in after her friend.
The two found themselves looking up at a frankly giant man. His overall size was reminding the two of them of Giuliano Flip. However, when he looked at them, his smile could be seen peeking out from under his bushy mustache. “Bienvenue! Comment puis-je vous aider?”
Michiru blinked a few times before rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. “Um... Sorry for bothering you?”
The man blinked a few times before chuckling himself and looking over his shoulder. “Sabine, vous devrez peut-être prendre celui-ci.”
“Qu'est-ce que c'est Tom?” A much smaller Chinese woman came from the back, looking confused until she saw Michiru and Nazuna standing at the front. “Oh! Quelle langue?”
“Japonaise.” Before giving the small woman a kiss on the cheek and heading to the back, the large man said before leaving them with her. Michiru could see him start kneading a large loaf of dough and was impressed at how easily he worked.
The woman, however, cleared her throat and got her attention. “Welcome. How can I help you?”
The two blinked in surprise before Michiru started to lean over the counter. “You speak Japanese!?”
“Michiru!” Nazuna tugged her friend back and glowered, even as the woman behind the counter laughed.
The woman waved a hand gently and gave an amused smile. “Some. It has been a long time.” She put a hand to her chest and smiled warmly. “Cheng Sabine.”
Michiru hummed a bit. That last name sounded... familiar. She continued to sit there and ponder the name while Nazuna rolled her eyes and walked up. “Hiwatashi Nazuna. And this is Kagemori Michiru.” The two shook hands before Sabine gestured to the counter. Nazuna’s eyes went wide as she waved her hands frantically. “Oh, no. We don’t have any money to pay for anything. We were just-”
Sabine waved a hand and kept smiling. “It is alright.”
Nazuna sighed one more time. “Actually, we’re looking for someone.” Sabine raised an eyebrow, and Nazuna raised a hand while also getting on her tip-toes. “He’s about this tall, white hair, grumpy face, and probably wearing a trenchcoat?”
Blushing a bit, Sabine put a hand to her lips, and her smile turned apologetic. “I’m sorry, but I have not seen anyone like that.” She reached under the counter and pulled out a box, grabbing a pair of tongs, and started filling it.
Nazuna jumped a bit and waved her hands again. “But we don’t-”
Sabine silenced her by placing the box in front of her with a smile. “These are on the house.” Stunned, Nazuna took the box, and Sabine gave the two a wave. “Good luck finding him.”
Dumbly holding the box, Nazuna opened it. Sitting inside neatly placed were a dozen chocolate and strawberry macarons. “T-Thanks?”
Michiru, who’d been lost in thought through the entire exchange, suddenly went wide-eyed. If anyone could have read minds, there would have been an audible click just before she slammed a fist into her open palm. “Marinette!” The declaration was so sudden, Nazuna almost lost the box of pastries, if not for Sabine’s quick hand catching them. Missing that as well, Michiru excitedly turned to Sabine, who was raising an eyebrow at her. “Do you happen to know Marinette Dupain-Cheng?”
Sabine looked startled as she started to walk around the counter. “How do you know my-?”
The door to the bakery opened and a groan came from the person entering. “Ugh ... Si j'ai plus de devoirs, je vais les perdre...”
Michiru turned around and smiled, giving a wave to Marinette the moment she saw her. Unfortunately for her, the girl was tiredly rubbing her face too much to notice.
Still looking skeptically at Nazuna and Michiru, Sabine walked up to “Marinette, tu connais ces deux-là?”
Marinette looked up and only then noticed the two beastmen. Her eyes widened in surprise as Michiru kept smiling at her. “Michiru!?”
“Hey!” Michiru shouted, only to get dragged back down to earth by Nazuna pulling on her ear. “OW! Nazuna, what was that for!?”
“You could show some basic manners if you don’t want me doing that again,” Nazuna grumbled. The two were cut from their brief argument by the sound of giggling, which brought them back to Marinette, who was trying and failing to hide her smile behind a hand.
Sabine raised an eyebrow at her daughter and crossed her arms. “Vous savez que c'est impoli de rire, Marinette. Maintenant, comment connaissez-vous ces deux?”
Marinette blushed a bit and looked slightly ashamed as she looked down at her shoes. “Désolé maman.” Looking back up, Marinette pointed at Michiru. “En fait, je ne connais que Michiru. Nous avons couru dans l'autre lors de la dernière attaque Akuma. Je ne sais pas qui est son amie.”
Sabine turned to the two and raised an eyebrow. “She says she met you during an Akuma attack?”
Marinette’s jaw dropped as she stared at her mother. “Vous connaissez le japonais?”
Her mother just winked at her, “Je sais beaucoup de choses. J'avais une amie qui était du Japon quand j'étais plus jeune, et elle a proposé de m'enseigner.” Sabine paused for a moment, frowning as she noticed Marinette was alone. “Où est Alya? Elle n'est pas venue avec vous?”
Marinette sighed and shook her head. “Non, elle devait rester et aider Mme Bustier.”
“Je vois.” Sabine let out a long-suffering sigh before turning back to Michiru. “Now, my question?”
"Oh! Right.” Michiru blushed a bit and rubbed the back of her head. “Yeah, it was kinda the first one I’d ever seen, and I was busy running away when I ran smack into Marinette.” She paused for a moment before perking up. “Wait a sec! She hasn’t met you yet, Nazuna!”
Nazuna looked between Michiru and Marinette before deadpanning. “I think we just did, Michiru.”
“But she doesn’t know who you are yet!” Michiru grabbed Nazuna by the arms and spun her around, making the poor girl stand stiff as she blinked in surprise. Michiru zipped up beside her and gestured at her friend while looking Marinette in the eye. “Hiwatashi Nazuna!”
Marinette laughed again at the two before giving a wave. “Bonjour, Hiwatashi Nazuna.” She looked up at her mother and pointed at the food under the counter. “Pensez-vous que nous pourrions les inviter à déjeuner?”
Sabine sighed a bit but kept her smile. “She wants to know if you’re free for lunch.”
Michiru’s stomach answered for them.
_______________________________________________________________
Shirou followed the scent trail of the two men to an elevator. It would take too long to wait for it to come back from wherever it had gone, so he pulled the doors open and looked inside. He was a little surprised to see just how far down the shaft went and could see the elevator resting four stories below.
It barely phased him when he jumped down and grabbed onto the cable to slide to a stop. Pulling up the emergency escape panel, he looked inside and saw nobody, but he could hear two men outside the door. He hopped down, landing with a small thud before cracking his neck. The sound of the two goons jumping in surprise and guns being armed made him smile, just a touch.
Jumping to the side the moment the doors opened, Shirou swung himself out using the edge of the door. His swing let him kick one of the goons in the face, breaking his nose and sending him flying into a concrete pillar. For the other guy, he let out a fearful gasp before readying his rifle, only to have it ripped from his hands and the butt slammed into his jaw, knocking him into the elevator. Shirou grabbed the first one, pulling him from the now cracked cement, and threw him into the lift on top of the second before letting the doors close.
He took another deep breath to steady himself and find where the scent had gone off to. He could smell a few more henchmen than before had all gone down a hall towards his left. Running, he followed his nose down the path, stopping at a room a few doors down.
Peeking inside, he could see a group of at least eight men surrounding something.
(TW)
“Well, this certainly is interesting.” The suit from earlier was raising an eyebrow before he stepped closer and smirked. “Liking the new look, Bourgeois. It certainly is something else.” He reached down, and there was a tearing noise as he ripped something away, making someone let out a pained cry.
That something was likely duct tape, as Shirou finally heard what Chloé Bourgeois sounded like. “You’ll pay for that! My daddy is probably tearing Paris upside down to-”
The suit backhanded her. “Shut up.” He stepped back and adjusted his glove before sneering. “As for your ‘Daddy,’ he knows full well where you are.”
“W-What?”
Shrugging a bit, he looked down at her with a smirk. “So does your lovely mommy, to be honest.” The men around her laughed as he knelt down in front of her. “When she heard about this, well, she should be here soon to tell you herself what she thinks.”
“Y-You’re lying.” Chloé spat back, struggling. Shirou was about to go in when he heard a door on the other side open. The clacking of heels on concrete echoed as a woman entered the room and looked down at Chloé with a raised eyebrow.
Chloé’s voice was barely a whisper. “Mommy?”
Audrey Bourgeois scoffed from behind her oversized sunglasses as she looked away and pointed at the suit. “What exactly did you imbeciles do to cause this?”
The suit suddenly looked nervous. “N-Not us, boss. Promise!”
One of the other guys shakily nodded. “Yeah! S-She started to bang into the door when-”
“Useless, utterly useless.” Audrey rolled her eyes before pulling out a pistol and shooting the man in the head. “I didn’t ask you to speak,” she said while looking down at the grey matter that was splattered across the floor. Chloé screamed at the sight of his body, landing on the ground at her feet. “Quiet, you stupid girl.” Placing the pistol in the suit’s hands and having him clean the blood off of both it and her hand, Audrey's glare mercilessly bore down on Chloé. “Did you really think that the stunt you pulled would go unpunished? Do you have any idea what you’ve cost us?” From the sounds of gagging, Shirou guessed Chloé was ready to vomit and was at a loss for words. Audrey slapped her across the face again, and once her hand was clean, she inspected her nails. “Millions of Euros is what.” The woman snarled as she slapped Chloé again. “We had such a lucrative operation going on, and you just had to ruin it like you do everything else!”
“What are you talking about?” Chloé asked with a tremble in her voice.
“Gambling.” Her mother answered with barely a care. “All bets placed solely on who would be Akumatized next, and who would cause it. The profits were more than enough to help that bumbling politician you call Daddy bribe who he needed to.” Audrey reached down and grabbed Chloé’s face, pulling her up slightly. “You were our most profitable source of income, even if you didn’t know it. All you needed to do was continue to be the spoiled brat you are.”
“You...” Chloé’s voice fell as she was tossed back, and the goons pulled more duct tape out.
“It doesn’t matter now, though. With you willingly helping that psycho, all the gamblers are going to think the odds are rigged and our turnout will be ruined, utterly ruined. On top of that, André’s chances of reelection are non-existent, so there’s no point staying here in Paris anymore.” She waved a hand at one of the men and started to saunter off. “Someone go make sure that worthless butler is disposed of along with that pile of waste on the floor. We don’t need anyone letting what happened under here go public.” Turning on her heel, she started for the door. “And get her ready for transport. The sooner we arrive in New York, the sooner I can have her skinned.”
“WHAT!?” Chloé let out one last scream before the tape was back over her mouth.
Her mother just stopped at the door and sighed.  She looked over her shoulder, eyebrow raised. “Did you think you were worth anything else? Look at yourself, you little freak. Your skin’s the only part of you that has any value anymore.” Leaving the room, her mother didn’t spare another glance behind herself. “Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.” The click of the bolt sent a wave of finality through the room.
The goons all chuckled a bit, reaching down and grabbing her. “Well, you heard her. I wonder what the boss will make out of her? Maybe a nice tote bag.”
Shirou narrowed his eyes as the goons started to pull Chloé away, getting ready to charge in.
That’s when he saw a grey tail amongst their legs.
Shirou’s snarl as he shifted into his wolf form sent a shiver down everyone’s spines.
The men all looked around in surprise, drawing various guns. “Who’s there!?” A shadowy blur moved overhead. The lights were smashed one by one until only a single lamp illuminated the room. “Show yourself, you son of a bitch!”
“Humans.” Shirou blurred through the room, picking one of the goons out of the pack and slamming him into the far wall hard enough to crack the cement. “No, less than human.” A second goon was picked out of the bunch, making them gasp in fear as he disappeared into the darkness. “You, who would profit off of the torture of innocents.” Only three goons were left after another was pulled away, the sounds of his pained screams, making them all flinch.
“Where is he?” One of the three holding a shotgun looked around frantically, firing a few shots at random and hoping for the best. “Where the fuck is he!?”
The gun was grabbed out of his hands and slammed into his face, knocking the man onto his back. The last two froze in fear as Shrou’s snarling visage was brought to light. “You bastards are not even worth using my claws on.” Holding one hand up in the air, his fangs bared into a twisted smile as he clenched his grip. “My fists will be more than enough!”
The suit who led Shirou down here unwittingly aimed his pistol. “Y-You son of a b-” A fist collided with his gut, making him fly back and land on the ground with a thud. The second readied his rifle at Shirou, only to have it knocked down as he fired, peppering the cement floor. Shirou’s fist connected with his jaw, knocking a few teeth loose and sending him into the air.
The one who’d been knocked onto his back scrambled to his feet and pulled a knife. He rushed over to where Chloé was and put the knife to her throat. The room was too dark to make out much detail, but her whimpering was enough. “Back off unless you want the bitch to die!”
Shirou’s hackles rose as he moved. The goon only saw a blur before Shirou’s hands were around his head, and his knife was clattering to the ground. “If a beastman couldn’t get away with that...” Throwing the goon into the air, Shirou pulled back his fist. “...What makes you think a human could?” His fist slammed into the goon, sending him into the ground hard enough to bounce back up into the air. On the rebound, Shirou’s leg kicked out and sent the man soaring into the far wall.
With all the goons unconscious, Shirou took a moment to let out a long breath before turning to the young girl behind him. Her seat was still slightly in the shadows, so he had to step closer.
That was when Shirou finally got a good look at the girl, and his eyes widened momentarily.
The most about her that still resembled the photo he retrieved from her school was her blonde hair, though her usual hairstyle had long been ruined. Her pale skin had been replaced with a coat of grey fur, and she had sharp claws on her hands. Small rounded ears poked through her hair. What angered him the most was the blood coming from a gash under her eye and possibly her lip from under the duct tape. Her wrists and ankles were handcuffed to a metal chair.
Carefully, he knelt down and reached towards her. When she flinched, he paused his advance. “I’m going to take that off of you. It will probably hurt, but bear with me.” With just enough care, Shirou removed the tape from her mouth, grimacing at the sight of some fur being taken with it. Looking down at her wrists, he grabbed the cuffs and frowned.
She was still looking at him, a mixture of fear, awe, and hope in her eyes. “Who are you?”
“Shirou Oogami.” He pulled on the metal around her wrist, and she flinched as it snapped under his grip. As he moved to the other ones, she held as still as she could.
As the final cuff was broken, she made no move to stand up and continued to stare at Shirou. “Why are you helping me?”
“I swore I would protect all beastmen. That's all the reason I need." He had his usual scowl on his face again as he pulled out the photo, just to double-check. "Are you Chloé Bourgeois?” When she hesitantly nodded, he hummed. “Then once we're out of this place, I need to talk to you in regards to several things.” Glancing over his shoulder when he heard one of the goons start to groan. He started to walk away before looking over and noticing she hadn’t started to follow. “Well?”
“Wait!” She hastily stood up and stopped just shy of running into him. “What about Jean?”
Shirou raised an eyebrow. “Jean?”
Chloé nodded. “He.. he was a butler that worked at the hotel. Daddy made him wait on me, hand and foot. He had followed them when they...” She looked down and started to hug herself, losing the words.
Even unspoken, Shirou understood what she had meant. “I see.” A commotion could be heard from the far side of the room, making both of them turn to look for a moment. Grabbing Chloé’s arm, Shirou ran for the door he came from and growled under his breath.
“He’s got the girl!” A gunshot rang out as it impacted the wall, making Chloé scream and duck as they ran. “We’ve got a situation. Someone’s in here, and they have the brat!”
Damn it. Now they know I’m here. Shirou mentally cursed as he found a stairwell. Kicking open the door, he turned to Chloé and grabbed her by the waist. “Hey! What do you think you’re-!” He hefted her over his shoulder and started leaping up the stairs. On the ground floor, he tried to open the door, only to find it locked. A swift kick to the handle made the door smash open, and several people gasp in surprise and fear.
Shirou didn’t care as he rushed over to a closet and put Chloé inside. “Stay here.”
“What!? This place is filthy! Why should I-!” Shirou shut the door on Chloé’s rant and pressed his head against the wood.
"Because it's safer in there than anywhere else right now," Shirou said before he ran back down the stairs. Closing his eyes, he followed the scents to see if he could find where they were keeping the butler.
It didn’t take him long before he found a room with two men that looked a bit tougher than the others. Inside, they were busy beating someone who was chained to a bed frame. “Who is he!?”
“Who... is who?”
Another fist flew into the beaten man’s face. “The guy who followed you! The one who just demolished a third of our guys!” He pulled the poor man up as far as the chain would allow and snarled into his face. “Either you tell me, or I’ll-”
Shirou entered and swept the other torturer’s legs out from under him, flipping him upside down. Once he was airborne, Shirou stomped his jaw, embedding his head into the floor. The one who had the beaten man by the shirt spun around, only to get a fist to the face that knocked him out cold.
The beaten man, who Shirou noted, was in a butler’s outfit, and he looked up at him in surprise. He stood, as best he could with the chains hindering him and frowned. “Is Mlle. Bourgeois, alright?”
Shirou was impressed that his first concern was Chloé but didn’t let it show. Instead, he just nodded slightly. “She’s upstairs for now.” He grabbed the chains keeping Jean tied to the bed and ripped them apart. “Let’s get you out of here.”
“Thank you, Monsieur.” Jean tried to bow but stumbled and almost fell. Shirou caught him, and he nodded.
Shirou was lucky that he managed to get back to the stairwell without being spotted. However, when they opened the door, a group of men came around a corner down the hall and started to open fire. He shoved Jean in and ducked in after him, slamming the door shut. “That won’t hold for long.”
The two made their way to the ground floor, where Shirou was alerted to the sounds of sirens. Someone called the police, good.
Exiting the stairwell, Shirou saw several police officers trying to open the door to the closet Chloé was locked in. “Officers.” When they turned to see Shirou, a lot of them flinched back in surprise. He walked over to them, and Jean was pulled away by the emergency responders. “He’ll need medical attention. As will the men you’ll find downstairs.”
While some officers started calling for an ambulance, one officer looked at him suspiciously and narrowed his eyes. “Have I seen you before?”
Shirou shifted back into human form but held his scowl. “I did help with one of those... Akumas, was it?”
The officer’s eyes lit with recognition, and he hummed. “So, you did.” Shirou nodded and walked over to the supply closet. “Hey! What do you think you are-!?”
Knocking on the door, Shirou leaned close. “I’m here. You can open the door now.”
The officers were surprised to hear something clatter to the floor before the door swung open. Chloé was eyeing the police officers with distrust before locking onto Shirou. The moment she saw him, she hid behind him like a frightened child.
Shirou couldn’t blame her.
The officer looked at her in surprise, taking in her new appearance but not recognizing her. “What in the world?”
“I would explain, but we don’t have the time.” Shirou gestured to the stairs again, where some officers were starting to head downstairs. “I’ll tell you everything I know about what happened down there, but first, we need to ensure that Mlle. Bourgeois is somewhere safe.”
“Did you say-!?” He looked down at Chloé again, recognition dawning on his face, before he scowled. “You’re right. This conversation can wait. I can take us to the station, and we can talk there.”
Shirou started to follow the officer but stopped when he felt Chloé holding onto his coat. He glanced back at her, raising an eyebrow before she shook her head. “Not him. He was supposed to be my parole officer.” Shirou stiffened for a moment before nodding. For this to be completely unnoticed as long as it had been, something had to be up.
Shirou started for the door. Chloé walked close behind him before taking her to an ambulance instead of the police cruiser. She was confused as he helped her get inside before looking at the driver. “Can I borrow a phone?” The dumbfounded man blinked a few times before handing over a smartphone, which Shirou passed to Chloé. “If you can remember their number, call someone you trust completely.”
Chloé looked at him in shock before looking down at the phone. “Someone I can trust? There’s not a single person in Paris that even trusts me.” She stared down at her hands again and scowled. “And what the hell am I? Some kind of weasel?”
Shirou sighed a bit through his nose. “Then, call someone you know it’s safe to stay with.” Looking over her appearance, he also raised an eyebrow. “Also, you're a Mink.”
Looking at the phone numbly, Chloé grimaced before letting out an insufferable sigh. “Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.” She started typing in a number and scowled. “I can’t believe I’m calling her.”
The phone rang for a moment before on the third ring, someone picked up.

Of Fondest Memories
@inuvember 2018 Day 11 Favorite Arc/Episode.  I absolutely adore episode 13 so I had to whip something up for this day :)
‘First day of the month…’   ‘Had I known about this…’  He takes a second glance as they pass the large old tree.  ‘Couldn’t you have trusted me either?’  ‘I trust nobody!’   Inuyasha doesn’t say a word as Kagome keeps moving forward along the path, maybe she didn’t remember.  They had barely known each other at that point so of course he had yet to trust her.  Come to think of it, before that night, Inuyasha would never be caught out in the open so easily, why had I let her?  I could’a scooped her up and forced her to leave…
Kagome reads over the directions Kaede had given them as she stares up at the looming temple.  This is the one!  It may have been a few years, but yes, she was certain of it!  This was where she had learned the truth about her Hanyo and the New Moon.
“Inuyasha?” she turns to him, “do you remember this place?”
“Not really.”  Of course he did, his sense of memory was keener than hers but it was more a question of if  he wanted to remember.  He had almost died, she could have been hurt, that’s not always something one wanted to think about.
“How could you not? It’s where…” but before she can question further, the temple priest has come out to greet her.  While she and the monk discuss the reason, they’ve requested her presence, Inuyasha is asked to check around for any signs of the evil spirts or yokai which he could tell right off the bad there weren’t any.
‘Inuyasha!!’  A cold chill crept along the back of his neck as he passes the main hall.  ‘Hang on I’m coming!’   ‘Run… Away…’  ‘I won’t!  I won’t do it.’  He’ll never forget the sheer look of terror, anger… the tears Kagome had shed…. Inuyasha stops walking when he realizes how tightly he was gripping to Tessaiga’s handle, thank Kamisama the Kekkai activated for her.  At the time he couldn’t decide if the girl was crazy, an idiot, or just brave to fight the spider yokai.  Well, she’s still reckless, but at least Kagome was a lot stronger now than she had been back then.  With a sigh, he continues on, rounding the corner and staying lost in his thoughts.
‘You smell nice…’  Kagome stood in the door frame of the old storeroom.  They had fixed it up well considering Oshou had destroyed much of it. That comment had really thrown her off, especially when he admitted to the lie.  He might have been delirious from the poison, but it was still nice to hear something sweet coming from him for once.
“What are you grinning about wench?”  Inuyasha finds his wife at the end of the hall, “why’s your face all red?”
“Oh, it’s nothing,” she waves her hand in an embarrassed gesture, “just silly memories.”
“You mean when I almost died?  That’s wasn’t very funny.”
Kagome gasps, “you do remember!”
“Keh!  Course I remember, just don’t wanna.”
“Why not, it wasn’t all bad…”
“Name one thing that was good that night?”
“When you asked to use my lap…. And then you told me I smelled nice.”
“Wh-wha…. I don’t recall saying such a mushy thing!”  He pivots to try and hide the growing blush, “You probably heard wrong,” but Kagome isn’t fooled.
She wraps her arms around his waist, letting her face rest against his back, “it’s one of my fondest memories Inuyasha,” muzzling the fabric, “the first time you said something sincere and nice to me.  Do you really want me to think I was wrong?”
After letting a drawn-out exhale, “no…”
“I know it was partially my fault it all happened,” Kagome circles the Hanyo, “but at the same time, I’m kinda glad it did.”
He curls his fingers under her chin, “it was mostly your fault,” chuckling, “but you’re right, it’s what made me realize maybe I could start to trust you.”  Giving her a light peck on her lips, “are you all done here?”
“Mmm, hmm.  I did a general blessing just to allay their fears.”
Taking her hand, “that’s what I though, cause there ain’t nothin here.”
“Be nice Inuyasha.”
Out of nowhere, “Ah, Ah,” the monk comes rushing up waving, “miko Kagome there is someone who would like to speak to you before you leave.”
“Who?”
“A local woman named Nazuna,” he prompts them to follow, “she said you had met the last time you came through this area.”
They follow the monk into a receiving room to find the same, albeit slightly older woman from their past, holding the hand of a small toddler.
“Mistress Kagome and Inuyasha,” she bows, “I’m glad I could catch you before you left.”
Kagome walks up smiling, “It’s nice to see you’re doing well Nazuna,” kneeling to get a better look at the adorable little boy, “is this your son?”
“Yes, he’s the reason I wanted to say thank you to Inuyasha…. for saving me all those years ago.  It’s because of you I have a family of my own now.”
“Keh,” crossing his arms but with an obvious blush on his cheeks, “it was just part of the job.”
“Don’t mind him,” Kagome waves it off, “he’s still getting used to being complimented.  But I’m so glad that things have worked out, the area looks like it has rebounded quite nicely.”
“New families started moving into the area and life is returning to the valley.  Are things going well for you… two?”
Now it’s Kagome’s turn to blush, “Inuyasha is my husband now.”
“By the Kami’s things have all worked out,” Nazuna finally smiles.  “Well, I should be getting home to prepare dinner.  Thank you again Inuyasha, Kagome,” she bows and takes her leave.
Kagome turns to her husband with the biggest smile, “this really is a wonderful memory after all.”

NON-SPOILER REVIEW
Overall: Unfortunately my gut instinct that I got before the show started, turned out to be true: This didn’t live up to past ASSH stages, and this is the first ASSH stage that I’ve been somewhat disappointed in them. This play is still very good: great acting, great characters; the stage, the costumes, the music are all beautiful; and the comedy is very good and had a lot of the audience laughing really loudly.... I was especially in love with the background of the stage this time around, and I thoroughly enjoyed the falling cherry blossom petals that we got throughout the play too. One of my favourite scenes is a ‘in the river/lake’ scene; the sound work during that scene was great. And I also loved the Ryo vs Sho fight scene too! BUT the story didn’t have anything new or surprising. I felt the character introductions were too long (it’s something we’ve seen a billion times, no need to explain who’s fighting against each other etc.), and that they were trying to fit in too many story lines -- There are like 6 or 7 storylines in this and at least 2 of them have nothing to do with one another. Upon my second rewatch, you could’ve easy cut out the 3 - 5 characters who were part of this Women’s Only Fight Club, and that would’ve made the story stronger and would’ve cut the play down by about 20 - 30 minutes (the play is 2 hours and 25 minutes!) -- which we could’ve used to develop other character’s relationships. A thing I can’t blame them for is, I went on Shonichi (the very first performance) so of course it’s not going to look or be perfect. But in the first show, their fight scenes and choreography was very slow. But luckily at the Friday night show, their movements were much more refined and the speed was up and I could really appreciate some moments. Personally, this stage would’ve flourished more if they’d either: A. cut a storyline out, OR B. cut out about 2-3 characters, OR C. cut the introductions down, in order to make it a tighter show. I’m still hoping for a third stage though but it would be nice to have Sayo/Tenkokumaru as the main this time and not as the Storyteller as he has been the past 2 times. Rating: 6/10

SPOILER REVIEW
STORY:
So we follow Gedomaru and the Young Boy around on their travels when they end up at a village where someone recognises Gedomaru. Soon, they are ambushed by a group of girls who claim that Gedo is the reason for their mother's death and that they are out to avenge them. All the while, the Young Boy is curious as to how he and his father met, so Gedo recites how. Soon enough Gedo realises that the group of girls' mothers had a part to play in that part of his history and the stories begin to entwine.
The backdrop to Gedo and Byakko's meeting is in the middle of two warring states (which are coloured Green and Orange). But in order to create peace, one side, Green, sends their daughter to be married to the other, but the other side (Orange) had other mischievous plans in mind.
COMMENTS
☆ I absolutely adored the background this time around. They made it look like the starry sky and had lots of glitter on it! It was so beautiful!
☆ I also loved what they did with the lighting! Depending on which side of the war we were on, the lights were either more green/blue, or more orange/red.
☆ The sound was great too! There is a scene where two characters are in a river and the timing of their movements with accurate water sounds were perfect! The music itself was great! Some tracks I could recall being in the first play too so it felt very familiar and nostalgic at times, especially some of the fighting and high tension(?) songs/tracks.
☆ Once again, Oguri (along with Sho this time) did the choreography for the fighting scenes! You could tell they were the more skilled ones, because the fight between them two (compared to everyone else') was so tense and so high speed and their movements were much more fluid. I really enjoyed one specific move Hiroki did too. It was when the Girl Gang attacks them and he does this move where, in order to stop/block the person behind him, the wings his sword around and behind him without even looking where his target is! And I thought it was hella cool. I also really enjoyed the choreography with the two Ninjas, they had lots of high kicks, lots of slides, lots of cartwheels etc. which I enjoyed watching (as an ex-gymnast myself).
Tumblr media
But I will say, on the first day, all the fight scenes were very slow. You could tell it was their first performance, because there were a lot of minor slip ups, and it wasn't perfect, and it looked very, very clunky and slow. But on my second viewing (which was the 5th show), they had drastically improved and I could see how fast and how comfortable they had gotten with the fights.
☆ Of course I thoroughly enjoyed the acting! There were some moments and some characters that really stood out.
☆ BUT, and this is a big butt, I didn't really enjoy the antagonist this time around. I don't know why but I found the bad guy very 1D and very bland. I don't even have a specific reason why. But he felt very much like an after thought; it felt like he was put in at the last minute because 'damn we need a big bad guy'. I'm not sure how to describe it. But, let me tell you his arc: So he's on one side of the warring states, the Orange side, and he's very much ready to fight and battle with the other side til one of them is standing. But agrees to take their sister and 'marry her'. But as soon as she's in his hands, he holds her hostage and eventually kills her. He then starts a big battle against the other side. But when his henchmen go against him, he doesn't hesitate to kill them, even though he was having a sexual relationship with one of them. To stop him advancing, the Greens and Byakki team up and defeat him. His arc and his story takes up like 10% of the entire play. He's killed off about 30 - 40 minutes before the end (or at least felt like that) so.... I don't really understand WHY he was chosen as the 'antagonist'. This play could've very easily stood well on it's own without him. We could've cut his stage appearance out completely and just had people discussing him and it would've had the same amount of impact. Maybe I missed something but I personally didn't find him compelling or interesting. In fact, I was more interested in his daughter's story.
☆ His daughter, Sumika, has ran away and gone into hiding because she holds the power of seeing the future when she sleeps. She believes she's cursed, and because of her power, she believes she's to blame for everything bad that has happened and now she's on the run, because both her father and the Greens are trying to find and capture her (for different reasons). She finds Byakki via one of her dreams and manages to track him down; she begs Byakki to kill her. But he refuses, twice. Her journey is basically questions why she was born, why she has these powers, and finding solace in Byakki who has also been ostracised for his 'abnormality'. I loved her and Byakki's relationship! And there's a scene where the Ninjas track her down and Byakki defends her, but once he's taken too many blows, she gets in the middle of them and yells 'he's not a monster! He's a human just like us!' and it really hit me in the feels.
Tumblr media
☆ Another character I thoroughly enjoyed was Nadeshiko. She was played by Hanaoka (and if you remember, I absolutely loved her in Zigoma!) who is just one of the funniest women I know. Her comedy and the way she delivers her comedy is always so spot on and so well done! She has the perfect balance of being cutesy-funny and then switching to a 'deep-voice' funny. She's also not afraid to make fun of herself or her fellow actors. She had some GOLD comedy moments in this.
Tumblr media
☆ There was a cast change with Young Gedomaru... I have to admit, I was not happy the first time around. I felt like there was a complete change in his personality compared to the first version we saw of him. But then I saw how much laughter he was getting from the audience and how much the audience accepted him. Also this is set before the events of the first stage so of course he'd be a bit less mature, and more child-like and would have a more happy, positive view on things, so then I came around to this new Gedomaru and I just enjoyed his upon my second viewing. He is very funny and is another main source, besides Nadeshiko, of the audience's laughter and the comedy. He falls in love with Sumika straight away and vows to protect her. Also his stubbornness of wanting to win against Byakki so much. It's both admirable and stupid at the same time, and Byakki feels the same. But fighting against each other is what tightens and strengthens their relationship.
Tumblr media
☆ Sumika was really cute. I loved how quiet and how pleasant she was. But she was also going through a tough time and kept it to herself which proved how strong she was. She was also determined about dying while also showing how vulnerable and scared she was which was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed her relationship with Byakki too. BUT I really wish we'd removed a character or a storyline or two so we could've expanded other scenes and relationships like this one. I would've loved an extra 20 or so minutes with Sumika and Byakki building a relationship, because it felt very much like: They met -> he protects her in a fight or two -> crying and super sad because he has to kill her -> End. It felt very rushed and I couldn't get emotional about the scene at all! So I would've appreciated it more and would've been more invested if we'd actually spent time to develop their relationship and feelings.
ALSO! The entire show I was like: Yo is this Young Boy's mother?! Are we finally finding out who she is?! But alas, she dies in the end so we're still left wondering who tf his mother is!! Grrrrr. We better be getting a third stage to finally answer that god damn question!
☆ Also on the topic of Young Boy and Hiroki; I was so pissed he was playing the story telling again! He was barely in the stage because he was only needed when we were in the present or hoovering over some of the past scenes. COME ON! GIVE HIM THE LEAD ROLE HE DESERVES! I was disappointed we got him as the Story Teller again -__-
Tumblr media
☆ In this we got to meet Gedomaru's older brother! Who is a priest at a temple. I loved how much obvious love he had for his brother, but also allowed his brother to grow independently and learn from his mistakes. I thoroughly adored the last scene with him where he tells Gedo that he's going back to the temple and accepts that Gedo will be going off with Byakki, and his last line is something like 'you know you can always come back to your home at the temple' which was really sweet. But now there's the mystery as to what happened to his brother, because in the present Young Boy asks 'how's your brother now?' and Gedo replies very vaguely like 'it's best if we don't meet again.' so I'm like super suspicious! What happened to his brother?! I hope he gets killed and Gedo goes on a manic revenge spree or something that Byakki has to save him from! Ohhhh that'd be good!!
☆ Towards the end of the play, we get sakura / cherry blossom petals falling down from the ceiling and oh my did it look beautiful! It was such a beautiful touch and I am so glad they added it into the stage because it's so emotionally and visually beautiful! I know it's such a simple thing and it IS used in so many stages, but every time, I can't not appreciate it!!
Now I want to get into the negatives in detail for a moment.
☆ For me this was their weakest stage so far. I've always been so impressed with their stages, and I had a feeling this one wouldn't quite hack it, and unfortunately, I was right.
☆ For me, I didn't find anything surprising or new in this stage. I am so used to ASSH taking a simple story and just having them put in such surprises that my mind is blown by the end of the story. But I feel they played it very safe in this one. There were no surprises, and nothing new. Also ASSH are known to be brutal with their killing off of characters but no one major died. No one's death was really that surprising or emotionally hurt.
I will admit that Sumika's death was impressive but that was all thanks to the actress' skills. She first gets her ear cut off and her scream during that moment is just pure gold and absolutely amazing voice and physical acting! But in terms of WHO died, there were no high stakes at all. Like ASSH have killed of WHOLE casts before!! Now that's theatre! That's drama! That's WOW! But this one was just ... safe.
☆ I also felt that even though the story was very stereotypical: two warring states/kingdoms and their daughters getting caught up in the shit shit, yet I spent we OVER-spent time introducing the war and who was on who's side. I seriously think you could've completely cut out the two leaders and just had his underlings talking about him. I felt the presence of the two big leaders were unnecessary and you could've easily just had them AS spoken characters -- I hope you understand what I mean: they could've just been talked ABOUT rather than actually getting actors and having them physically onstage.
☆ They also spent a whole scene dedicated to the three Girl Gang members and explaining their tragic past and why they joined this group. You could've cut out both of these parts.
☆ There were also too many story lines. Let me break down the groups and relationships:
Present Day:
(1) Old Gedo with Young Boy, eventually Old Nadeshiko joining. (2) Girl Gang: out for Revenge on Gedo because of what happened to their mothers.
Past Day:
(1) Orange Clan: We have the Leader who's marrying Green's girl but ultimately wanting to battle, and absolutely hates his daughter and trying to track her down thanks to his ninja henchmen. His henchmen are slowly questioning their leader's leadership, sanity and motives. (2) Green Clan: Just wants a peaceful land, sends daughter to marry Orange so they can have a peaceful, political agreement. After the daughter gets killed, they try and find Sumika for either help or entrapment. (3) Girl Gang (4) Nadeshiko and Sumika on the run and trying to find Byakki. (5) Byakumaru bumping into Gedo, becoming spar buddies and eventually friends. (6) Gedo and his brother: Out on their travels and find Byakki and won't leave until Gedo defeats Byakki. (7) Sumika and Byakki: After finding Byakki, she really wants him to kill her so her powers can stop. (8) Gedo falls for Sumika at first sight and now sees Byakki as a love and fighting rival.
As you can see... there is just too much. This stage/story would've benefited if they had either: cut 2 or 3 characters out, OR cut one story line out completely. Upon my second watch, I realised that there is literally NO POINT to the Girl Gang at all (besides gender equality and girls can fight too and being a conflict to present Gedo), so I think they should've cut them characters out completely. Also physically cutting out the two leaders and having them only in the dialogue would've saved a lot of time too.
☆ This play is 2 hours 35 minutes long. If they had cut out the parts I wanted, this could've been under 2 hours. AND if they really wanted, they could've used that extra time to actually DEVELOP relationships between the remaining characters. I have no problem giving that time to Gedo and Byakki, or Byakki and Sumika! We need their development in this story in all honesty! And thinking about it, to say Byakki is the same character, he's in it almost a little as Young Boy is! He's barely in the stage compared to some many other characters.
☆ Also I went there for Hiroki and his has the smallest part... again! He's playing the story teller... again! So of course my bias heart is sad about this! I really thought we were going to get HIS story this time around! I really thought we were going to find out who his mother was this time around! But alas, this stage was set in the past and he's just a bystander again *cries* I really hope we get a third stage and that he's main next time!
*
Don't get me wrong, this is still a solid play, with amazing acting and lots of great characters. Also it has a lot of charm, a lot of amazing scene and nice moments, some great lines, some very funny parts. However, this was just their weakest one for me. 'Safe' is definitely the word to describe this play. I am still hopeful and wanting a third stage! But seriously, if the next stage is not about Hiroki and his mother, I swear to god! xD Anyway, thanks for reading as usual!

Ensemble Stars! Event Story - Sincerely! Bitter Chocolate Festival / Chocolate Fes
Apologies for yet another hiatus in between the weeks as I’ve fallen sick a couple of weeks ago and I’m still in the midst in recovering *cough cough* I went to reread this event story during Valentine’s to get a feel of Valentine’s day~
It was actually quite short (8 chapters) compared to the event stories that I’ve been reading nowadays (16 chapters) so I managed to finish reading in between my resting break, and thus here is it! Happy Belated Valentine’s! <3
Anyway as always, the summary of the story can be found below. Translation may not be 100% accurate due to my poor Japanese skills~
Tumblr media
Prologue - Chapter 1
One cold morning, Subaru was feeling sleepy on his way to school, as he thought about how he can understand how Ritsu must be feeling about wanting to fall asleep anywhere. But then he knew that if he ever falls asleep in class, Hokuto will get angry at him, and wondered if it’s better if he just took a nap at the sickbay if he begged Sagami Sensei to let him rest there.
Just then he saw “me” and Hokuto walking along the route to school, and wonder whether did Hokuto and “my” relationship has changed from “sending me back home” relationship to “going to school together” relationship. However, he could not think of a good reason why the two of us are going to school together and thus decided to just come and ask us. Turns out the reason is just a very and normal reason, we just met halfway along the route and decided to walk together since it’ll be very awkward to walk separately after saying “good morning” ^^;
Tumblr media
Hokuto was amazed that Subaru was up early today though, and asked whether he was coming to school early in preparation for the “Choco Festival”. However, Subaru gave a blank face as he could not remember what is “Choco Festival”. (And so Hokuto gave him a very cold stare… How could he not know of this festival being an idol in the school? XD)
Since “I” wasn’t here at this time of the year last year, “I” had no idea what “Choco Festival” is. Subaru suddenly remembered what is it about and wanted to explain to me about it but the chance got taken away by Hokuto as he volunteered to give an explanation instead XD (It’s cute how Subaru started whining that Hokuto is sneaky and always taking the most “delicious” part - as in able always having the chance to always guide “me” / “send me home” etc? XD) Hokuto retaliated that he can’t trust Subaru is giving a good explanation, seeing how he can completely forget about the whole festival.
Tumblr media
Chocolate Festival is a very large event where idol groups all over the country can participate, and in the school, idol groups will sing, perform and give out chocolate on that day to keep the visitors happy.
Even though “I’m” a producer, “I” won’t need to organise and set up the event for this event, as they’ll be handled by the school and student council instead. However, there’s still a very large possibility that “I’ll” be very busy with creating the outfits, goods and most importantly, helping the idols in creating the chocolate.
However, Hokuto is very confident in “my” skills in cooking, as he praised that the honey lemon slices that “I’ve” made last time for Trickstar were very delicious, and were even as good as his grandma’s. Subaru remarked that Hokuto talked about his grandmother all the time, similar to how he himself always bringing up Daikichi - his dog ^^; (Haha these two never shuts up about their grandma and dog XDD)
Anway, it seems that I’ll be supporting the idols in chocolate making. Subaru is looking forward to my help as he’s always more interested in eating it than making it XD Hokuto warned him not to rely on me too much since the most important is the feeling of the idols who are making the chocolate themselves, even if the outside of the chocolate may not look good. He also shared a story of how he tried to make rice based on the teachings of his grandma, and how his grandma said that it’s delicious even when he didn’t do a good job and the rice came out looking abit… not that nice ^^;
Tumblr media
After listening to Hokuto’s story, Mao and Makoto suddenly appeared behind them, saying that actually they were there a while ago but could not find a good time to interrupt, seeing that Hokuto is so engrossed in his story about his grandma. Makoto showed up teary faced as he was very touched by Hokuto’s story TWT TWT
(It’s funny but yet so cute that the way that Subaru chooses to comfort Makoto is… a banana? Yes, he literally pushed a banana next to Makoto’s cheek XD What on earth is this boy thinking? XDD)
Tumblr media
Talking about the Choco Festival, Makoto is curious about who am I planning on giving my chocolate to. (Hehe~ Why are you so interested, Makoto~? XD) He realised he may be asking too much of a private question though and was so sorry that he immediately kneel down in apology O.O Mao complimented that he kneel very well which Makoto will rather Mao praised his singing or dancing skills instead of his… kneeling skills XD
Thank goodness “I” seems to be neutral to guys who kneel randomly, saying that it really depends on the situation. (If not I would have dislike Makoto already, being a guy who kneel too easily in a situation like that ^^;)
Tumblr media
(Look at Mao all hinting Makoto’s feelings towards “me” XD Saying that he’s actually behaving quite close to “me”, seeing that “I” managed to open his heart when he was bad at talking to girls ^////^)
Tumblr media
Back onto the chocolate making topic, Hokuto said that Trickstar can’t rely on “me” too much as “I’m” everyone’s producer, and it’ll be better if they can find someone else from other units that are willing to guide them on how to make chocolate. (Since if I ended up supporting all the units on how to make chocolate, I’ll get overwhelmed by all the units =w=“….)
They went through several names (all from Knights though… seems like most of Knights all know to make sweet treats ^^): Sena, who made chocolate for Makoto last year, it tasted great but having Sena saying “ahhh” and trying to force feed him gave Makoto a bad aftertaste… Ritsu, whose candies are delicious, but the designs of them are badly needed to go through a revamp by Sena in order to go on sale since it’s practically required to close one’s eyes to eat it to avoid looking at it =w=“….
In the end, they decided on Arashi, who has “girl power” and thus able to cook and make sweet treats just like a girl ^^; (I’m a girl but I can’t really do these things… guess I don’t have much of a “girl power” when compared to Arashi… Orz)
Tumblr media
Chapter 2 - 4
And so Arashi became the lecturer and tutor for the chocolate making class that happened later on, thanks to Mao for contacting him and asking for his help. (Since they’re classmates and gets along fine like that ^^)
Mao felt weird that Arashi said that “as a big sister, I’ll be on the side of the girls in love”, since well… they’re guys, and wonder if they had become “girls in love” the moment they start doing chocolate XD Arashi amended and said he did add an “I’ll also be on the side of the boys in love” after that so it won’t sound so weird? ^^;
Arashi can’t help but to overhear what Mao and Makoto were happily talking about as they were preparing the ingredients and seeing how enthusiastic Makoto is, Arashi wonders if there’s a particular “her” that he wanted to give his chocolate to. That flustered Makoto as he confessed that he just wanted to thank “me” and it’s nothing like “I’m” the particular “her” that Arashi is talking about. (Denying to the full extent but it’s so cute how Makoto got all flustered ^^;)
Mao in the end has to swipe in to rescue Makoto by explaining that Makoto only doesn’t get nervous around “me” as “I’m” a producer, but once he sees “me” as a girl, he gets all nervous again ^^;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mao was all excited and asking Arashi what chocolate they were making that day, but Arashi asked me to just wait awhile longer as the Ra*bits kids haven’t arrived yet. It’s a lesson for both Trickstar and Ra*bits members that day as the other units aren’t free, and with both of them having a performance live at the first part of the day, it’s been decided that the class will teach them first since the other units can still have a chance to practice at the later part of the day later on.
They went onto talking about how Knights and UNDEAD will be having the same class later on, and Ritsu will be grumbling how terrible it is to be in the same class as his brother, Rei XD
Tumblr media
Just then the Ra*bits members all rushed into the kitchen, with Nazuna breathing heavily as he struggled to catch up to Mitsuru’s speed.
(Aww~ Look at how Mitsuru dives into Arashi’s chest when he saw him there. These two really have a cute relationship as Arashi is so happy to have such an adorable junior <3)
Tumblr media
Finally, the chocolate making class can finally start! This time, Arashi decided to teach everyone how to make truffle, as he said it’s one of the easier chocolate treats to be made. Makoto was very excited when he realised that the recipe was written by me XD
The class commerce and Subaru was having difficulty getting his truffle in a nice round sphere, where compare to Hokuto who was doing it easily as his hands are cold and thus easy to mould the chocolate with them. Subaru ended up disturbing Hokuto again by touching him with chocolate covered hands (ewww~~ Subaru~~) Hokuto, of course, scolded him and said he’s going to end up dirtying clothes like that ^^;
Seeing Hokuto is so serious, Subaru went off to play with Makoto, by touching his cheek with his (chocolate covered) hands =w=“ That gave Makoto a shock as he asked to knock it off (imagine someone touching your face with chocolate hands suddenly =w=“) Subaru, disappointed that even Makoto is getting serious this time, said that he thought that the two of them are going to debut as Aho-Combi, and thus won’t allow him to drop out this way ^^; (And Makoto got all confused since as much he likes Aho-Combi, really debuting as one is abit… =w=“)
Tumblr media
In the end, Mao has to ask all of them to stop fooling around and to learn from the Ra*bits boys, which are doing a really good job. Hajime came and shared with them some of the truffles that he made, which had very sparkling toppings that made Subaru wanted to add some onto his truffles. (But… ultimately got stopped by me since they’re far more advanced bakers~) (I’m terribly afraid that Subaru might end up destroying all the truffles if he did something funny with them ><”)
Even though the Ra*bits’ truffles are coming along smoothly, there’s one guy who is facing trouble with the chocolate he is making - Mitsuru. He ended up burning the chocolate that he was melting and got really frustrated. Tomoya wanted to lend a hand to him but Mitsuru said it’s okay and he can handle it on his own. Tomoya insisted further on and Mitsuru got really defensive and shut him out, making Tomoya shocked as this seems to be the first time he ever sees Mitsuru being so stubborn. Turns out that Mitsuru even rejects Hajime’s help when he approached him earlier on too. Seeing that “I” had seen this scenario, Tomoya requested me to help out Mitsuru as he really seems to need help and will probably open up to me instead, as Mitsuru admires me as much as Nazuna.
Tumblr media
“I” went to Mitsuru and asked him about what he’s doing, he got sad knowing that he has made “me”, Tomoya and others worried for him. Mitsuru decided to reveal what he’s making to “me”, on the condition that I keep it a secret from Adonis and Arashi. Mitsuru’s plan was to make chocolate to give to Arashi and Adonis to thank them for all the care they’ve given him for the past year. “I” decided to chip in and help Mitsuru with making the chocolate, and the two of us decided to meet up after class on a day to make them.
Tumblr media
However, instead of truffles, we’re going to make nama chocolate, since it’s even easier than truffles so that Mitsuru can even make it as ease~ ^^ “I” showed Mitsuru how to do it once and after that he learnt it and decided to continue doing it, as “I” watched him by the side.
(Mitsuru is so cute when he finished the first step successfully and ask for a praise XD)
Tumblr media
The next step was melting of the chocolate, which Mitsuru felt really unsure of as he burnt it the last time. But this time however, he felt more at ease knowing that “I’ll” be next to him looking over him ^^ Mitsuru completed the melting process successfully and we pour the chocolate into the moulds and all that’s left to do is wait for 2 hours for the chocolate to set~ While waiting for the chocolate to set, we decided to have lessons and practices together to pass the time.
Mitsuru bumped into a “wall” in the kitchen and realised that it was Makoto. He explained that he was initially having lunch on the terrace when he saw the two of us heading towards the kitchen. Curiosity got the better of him so he decided to tail behind and see what we are up to. (Makoto…. that’s quite a stalker move actually =w=“ I guess the good thing is that at least he knows that he’s guilty of it? ^^;)
Tumblr media
Mitsuru sneakily asked Makoto a question on who is he going to give his chocolate to, making Makoto flustered once again as he gave alot of answers: people who supported them (Trickstar), people who watched their lives etc. Mitsuru just sees it as him being firm and not giving the real answer XD (Kind of amazed that he can be quite observant here XD)
He went onto explain the reason that he’s making chocolate with “me” to Makoto, saying that he’s giving chocolates to Adonis and Arashi. (Look at him “confessing” once again that how much he likes them XD Mitsuru is seriously so adorable here~ *pinches cheek*)
Tumblr media
Mitsuru ended up inviting Makoto to come help and do some chocolate tasting when they are set after 2 hours. The two of them exchanged numbers before they departed and Mitsuru and “I” went off to have lessons. Contacting Makoto after two hours, all three of us returned to the kitchen and tasted the completed chocolate. It’s a success as the chocolate was very delicious~! ^^ Now all Mitsuru had to do was to wrap them up and give them to Arashi and Adonis on the day itself.
Tumblr media
Chapter 5 - Chapter 6
On Trickstar’s side, Hokuto requested both Makoto and Subaru to come and help them with the wrapping of the chocolates during the practice break, as there’s too many of them that with just him and Mao, it’s impossible to finish wrapping them all before the event the next day.
(Hokuto is cute as he admitted that he’s been relying on his grandma and “me” alot nowadays~ It’s nice to know that he felt safe by my side and thus gradually relied on me.)
Tumblr media
Even though Hokuto asked Makoto and Subaru to help out, towards “me” he’s asking “me” to rest instead ^^ He even requested Mao to send “me” home at night later on, as it’s his turn that night. Mao smiled and said that he’s been always sending “me” home frequently to the point that he has become close and friendly with “my” family members already, and even stayed to have dinner with them XD (Future son-in-law? +W+) It’s a good thing for Mao as he gets to have some home cooked food as his parents are usually not at home and let the kids do whatever they want.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Makoto ended up glaring at Mao once he heard about it, as he envies Mao for getting the chance to even have dinner with “me” since he never gets an invitation. (Jealousy?) He wondered what he should do in order to get an invitation: having more of an appeal by showing a face that he wants to eat?, or by bearing himself from eating snacks so that his stomach will growl when he went to my home XD
Then he realised it’s hard for him to even get to know “my” family members as he doesn’t even dare to look at “my” mum in the eye… Makoto vowed to pluck up his courage to start a conversation with “my” family next time~ (Good luck Makoto!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chocofes had finally arrived in the day, and it was a busy period for “me” as I had to make the outfits, teaching on how to make chocolates to the units, as well as making goods for the event. On that day it was a really crowded day to the point that they need alot of staff to even control the crowd, seeing that there’s alot of units performing and they’re giving chocolates out.
(Interesting that there’s a system whereby the guests can choose which unit they’ll want to receive their chocolate +W+)
Mao is all fired up as he said that Trickstar will perform to the point that they’ll capture everyone’s hearts so that they’ll feel at ease even if other units perform after them. Subaru just wants to give out all the chocolates which they’ve prepared for the guest's XD (So cute!)
Tumblr media
As Trickstar is performing, Tomoya came and watched their performance, and was awed by Trickstar’s charm. Hokuto was performing on stage and realised Tomoya has come to show support, by waving his light stick like a little fan XD Hokuto wished that they’re able to give out all their chocolates, as the worst outcome will be having to either eat the remaining chocolates themselves or having to burn them all. (I felt so sad reading it, burning and destroying all those chocolates? TWT TWT I won’t mind eating one per day for a whole year just to get rid of them seriously +W+)
Tumblr media
Mao also noticed Tomoya supporting them, and he thought to himself that as a senior, he should work harder so he won’t show a bad side of him to them. He also noticed “me” watching them, waving a light stick in “my hand”, as “I’ve” finished what “I” was busy with of selling the merchandise.
(This part was heartwarming: Seeing that “I” was always being relied on by others, he wished that “I” would rely on him sometimes, since he would also rely on “me” sometimes too.)

Chapter 6 - Epilogue
Tomoya felt all pumped up after watching Trickstar’s performance and talked to Mitsuru that Ra*bits will need to work hard too to perform like them. But Mitsuru doesn’t seem to be listening and even runs off in the end, leaving a very confused Tomoya.
Mitsuru knew that he shouldn’t run around on the corridor, but today’s a special day as he wanted to find Arashi and Adonis soon before his own live starts. As he was running towards the practice room (since he believed that they might be there performing before the lives), Mitsuru accidentally bumped into Adonis and… ended up stepping on his own chocolate when the paper bag flew out of his hand.
Tumblr media
Tomoya came looking for him soon after and he pulled Mitsuru away to prepare for their live show later on, and thus Mitsuru missed his chance to give his chocolate…
After the live shows had ended, Mitsuru was still feeling really down that Tomoya tried to cheer him up but still failed, as he doesn’t know why Mitsuru was having trouble about. Tomoya wished that Mitsuru would rely on him more since they’re friends and not keep his trouble to himself.
Noticing “me” looking worriedly at him, Tomoya knew that he can’t hide anything from “me” and thus revealed what that had happened, and that Mitsuru went all down after the live even though he was all happy and cheerful on stage.
Tumblr media
“I” went over to Mitsuru when he was murmuring to himself that he can’t face “me” anymore, and ended scaring him when he realised “I’m” behind him ^^; He revealed to me that his box of chocolates was crushed and thought that it’s impossible to give out his gift now that the box was all crumpled up… He even thought of throwing the chocolate away in the trash bin as he believed that nobody will be happy getting a box of crushed chocolates TWT TWT (So cute yet so sad that Mitsuru is crying at this scene TWT TWT)
Tumblr media
Just then Adonis and Arashi came rushing over, as they’ve noticed Mitsuru seems to be having some trouble and came to wish that Mitsuru will discuss any trouble with them.
Mitsuru decided to give his (though now abit crumpled) box of chocolate to Arashi and Adonis. Saying that even though it’s made with “my” help and also even though the box was crushed, Mitsuru shyly asked them to receive his chocolate.
Tumblr media
Of course, both of them are happy to receive Mitsuru’s chocolate and even started eating them right away. Arashi even said it’s so delicious to the point they can make his cheeks drop XD (Too exaggerated XD) Mitsuru thanked them once again and confessed once again XD He also sort of “confessed” to “me”, saying that he’s thankful for all the help “I” gave him and also that he likes me just as much as the others as well.
Tumblr media
And that wraps up this heartwarming event story~! I remember liking Mitsuru alot after reading this, who knows he can be so cute and adorable~ <3 I also enjoyed reading Mao’s, Makoto’s and Hokuto’s part as well~ Didn’t know Makoto can be jealous and even abit stalkish…. =w=“ Mao definitely sounds like a super good boyfriend material XDD
Most importantly for me when going through this event was enjoying Makoto’s little event scenes, he seems interested in what type of guys “I” would like ^////^
Tumblr media
And he was also curious on who “I” was giving “my” chocolate to. Funny that he mentioned that he envies the person who would be receiving it, and turns out he’s the one XD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mao’s scenes are pretty cute too, he actually ended up gifting “me” a chocolate he made I believe~
Tumblr media
Last but not least, it was a super happy time for me to be able to make it to the event points to get Makoto’s 4* card~ I think it was the first time for me to be able to reach it after I’ve luckily get Hajime’s from a live drop on the Christmas carol event~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I really enjoyed Valentine’s outfit this time and ended up putting Tomoya and Makoto on my home screen for a long time~ (Still had Makoto on my home screen currently yet again in celebration of Valentine’s~)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next up will be the current Valentine’s event story~ I’m looking forward to reading that so will be reading and translating that first~ <3

Hello! I'm requesting a Match up so ya, lol. Im a 5'1 girl, I'm brunette and dark brown eyes. I enjoy playing piano, track, and other various work outs. my social skills go above mom freind, i give 12/10 mom advice (lol) When I meet someone new im a lil' cautious (and I'm quick to judge if a person is troublesome or not) but, I also to warm up to somone quickly and from then on im a loud and humorous person. (wowza I hope this is sufficient lol)
it was enough don’t you worry ! I hope you like it !! ♥ - mod mademoiselle
Your match is Adonis Otogari !
You caught his attention immediately, when you firstmet him. He thinks you’re so small ! He followed you around like a huge puppyfor a couple days, silently checking on you and being quite embarrassed whenever you’dask him what exactly he’s doing. He was a bit shy to admit it, but he thinkssmall things deserve his protection, so he was just trying in his own clumsyway to make sure you were doing alright !
You tend to be cautious around people you don’t know, so you didn’t open up tohim immediately. To be honest, he’s a bit scary. He’s huge, rarely smiling andis always following you wherever you go. It’s hard not to feel tense when he’s just behindyou, watching you having lunch… But you quickly judged he was not a troublesomeperson, far from it : you felt he was truly kind, although he expresses it in afairly uncommon way, and you opened up to him soon enough. He’s awful atconversation, but likes to listen to you talking, watching you with greatattention and nodding frequently. He’ll remember the tiniest things you toldhim too, and ask about them later. Over time, he started trying to initiate conversation too, and it’s always quite a sight when Adonis hesitantly commentson the weather, looking at you with hopeful eyes…
You soon learnt he’s a very devoted friend, alwaysmaking sure you’re doing good and you don’t need his help. He’s especiallyinsistent in regard to food : he likes to eat with you so that he can make sureyou properly have lunch and you eat something filling enough. He loves sharinghis anpan with you too, even though it means he’ll have less for himself. It’sstrangely cute to see him looking so focused as he evenly cuts the anpan togive you half of it !Well, you get him, honestly. You’re a mom friend, after all : you know what it’s like to worry about your friends ! He was fairly surprised to learn you alsoliked to care about your friends, and hesitantly started to rely on you a bitmore. Your other friends find it really funny, as you and Adonis are both caringfor each other and being cared for at the same time. He even tries to outsmartyou at times and started keeping medicine around with him just in case you’dget hurt or feel sick ! You also like to give him advice, and he started comingto you frequently to ask you about his idol career and prospects. He nevertakes a decision without asking for your opinion first, as he finds itextremely valuable.
Another funny thing in your relationship with Adonisis your differences ! You’re a loud and humorous person around your friends, while he’s pretty meek and prefers listening than being at the center of attention. You like laughing loudly and making jokes, much to his delight ! Hedoesn’t exactly have the most exaggerated reactions you’ve ever seen, but hedoes grace you with small smiles when you’re making jokes. Sometimes you feellike you’re talking to yourself rather than to him, but rest assured : he’slistening intently and loves how you brighten up his world ! To him, you’refascinating : always making people smile, not minding being the center ofattention and being really caring and helpful… You’re literally full ofredeeming qualities, and he couldn’t help but slowly start to fall for you.
Adonis was really worried, even distressed, aboutthis whole “love” thing. It’s his first time being in love, so he’s absolutelyclueless about what he should do and how he should express it ! He’s not evensure he wants to tell you : he’s perfectly happy with things being just as theyare… and he’s a bit afraid you may already have feelings for someone else. He’sacutely aware love isn’t always mutual… Fortunately, Kaoru quickly caught onit. Yeah, Adonis isn’t exactly good at hiding his feelings. Being aself-proclaimed love professional, Kaoru managed to coax Adonis into at leasttalking about his feelings with you. Adonis was extremely stiff, and expressedhimself so badly you originally thought he had a heart condition or something. You quickly put the pieces together though : so that’s why he was being soweird lately ! And here you thought something worrying happened…You still can’t believe you got Adonis to fall for you, to be honest. He’sabsolutely gorgeous, kind, has the sweetest smile and will do anything for hisfriends… Besides you also had a teeny tiny crush on him, so why would you haveturned him down ? Of course you’d start dating him !
Well, “start” is the keyword here. Your boyfriend hasabsolutely no idea what he’s doing. He’s trying his best and diligently askingaround for advice so that he can be a good boyfriend, but he feels awkward intypical romantic situations. Dinner dates are a bit too much for him, and he’dmuch rather come to your place and cook a simple but delicious meal for you.The two of you are taking it easy, focusing more on spending time with eachother rather than trying to fit society’s ideals of a perfect couple.Besides, you have common hobbies ! Adonis loves to work out with you, evengiving you advice or helping you should you need it. Sports are a big part of hislife and he’s incredibly happy he gets to be with you while he’s exercising !He also really likes to watch you play the piano, even faintly humming along. He always gets really embarrassed, but you love his voice ! Sometimes, he’lltake his ocarina and try to play along with you. The end result is often fairly…experimental, but at least it makes you laugh.
Adonis is a very sweet and concerned boyfriend ! He’sin love with every part of you and there’s nothing he loves more than spendingtime with you. He wants the two of you to grow as persons together, and facethe future hand in hand. Take good care of him : he’ll give it back tenfold !
Other possible matches :  Arashi, Nazuna

Requesting a matchup.I am an average girl who is a idol weeb and I love to surf the internet.I always wanted to try everything I can get on to but I cant really focus except drawing and playing games.I am also a huge lazy bum and I hate naggy people but I like to nag.Lastly,I hate sports and going out so if possible and I hate dressing up but I wanted to try cosplay.Hope that this is enough
Yup, here you go! Hope you enjoy it !!
I said “average” at least 10 times o op
Your matchup is…
*drumroll*
Tomoya Mashiro!
This poor boy was head-over-heels the very moment you walked into the room. He was a blushing mess as you lazily introduced yourself as their producer. Nazuna was quick to take charge, introducing himself. Mitsuru was quick to follow, and Hajime soon after. Tomoya simply stood there, staring. Nazuna pat his back gently, telling you his name and explaining he’s just nervous. You seemed to understand. Meeting new people could be pretty hard. You explained that you were asked to sit in on their practice as your first duty as a producer. Tomoya, finally snapping out of his trance thanks to a certain blonde’s elbow, quickly and nervously provided you with a chair. However, he ended up knocking the chair over in the act, tripping over the toppled item. He groaned, face completely flushed as he simply lay on the floor. You laughed , teasing him a bit as you tried to get him to relax. You explained you were nobody special, there was nothing to worry about. But he believed the exact opposite.
After making a fool of himself right in front of you, Tomoya was extremely discouraged from approaching you. He had tripped up quite a few times during practice as well, making him seem like an inexperienced fool. He began to question himself. Why did he like you? You thought of yourself as average, which is a word he hates. He never wants to be seen as average. Maybe that was why? Everyone thinks of him as average, so maybe an average boy should be paired with an average girl? He quickly shook the thought, audibly complaining “I’m not average!” He fell out of his thoughts as the eyes of the other Ra*bits members fell on him. Nazuna knew something was bothering him, asking him what was wrong. This caused Tomoya’s face to heat up. He stuttered it out, explaining his crush to his unit. Nazuna gushed over his innocence. They all agreed to help him out, Mitsuru a bit over enthusiastic as he dashed out of the room to retrieve you. Tomoya immediately gave chase, cheeks ablaze.
It ended up with all of Ra*bits, minus Tomoya, hiding behind a bush as their fourth member approached you. Until then, you hadn’t really considered the boy as a possible match for you. But now, seeing him blush furiously as he stumbled over his words, (and feet) you realized how cute he was. So when he finally got his words out, you decided to try dating him. But you didn’t expect for it to be so ideal. You had always been jumping around to different interests, trying a bit of everything instead of aettling down with a single thinng. But with Tomoya, you could tell. Unlike everything else you’ve done, you knew that your feelings would last.
Tomoya has a bit of trouble keeping up with your pace. Despite being lazy, you’re always wanting to do new things. It helps him out of his comfort zone, and forces him to grow and learn as you two experience anything you come up with. Dates tend to always change, depending on your interests at the time. Tomoya won’t mind going anywhere! You can choose! As long as he’s with you, he’s happy. Actually, if you asked him to choose, he would probably never decide. He’s even okay with not going anywhere. Sitting at home with you as you searchthe internet is just as entertaining as going out places. Literally anything with you, and he’ll have a blast.
Tomoya’s constantly fretting over a certain pervert barging in on the two of you. It had happened multiple times; the silver haired third year would bust down the door in an explosion of confetti and birds as he announced his entrance. He would then proceed to photograph the two of you. Interested in cosplay, you said? Well, good, because Wataru never hesitated to force you two into outfits for more pictures. Tomoya always feels terrible afterwards, apologizing endlessly for days. Though you didn’t make as big of a deal about it.
He loves to watch you draw! He’ll sit quietly at your side as you turn a blank paper into a masterpiece. Every time, it amazes him. Your talent always makes him so proud! As for gaming, Tomoya is nowhere near as good as you. He never minds playing with you, but he loses. Every time. Still, he never gets tired of it. Actually, he enjoys getting completely annihilated by you. You think it’s a bit strange. How can he enjoy losing so much? You could swear that he does it on purpose sometimes. It never fails to make you laugh.
Tomoya will do pretty much anything you say. If you nag at him, he’s sure to listen. It’s nice to have someone willing to do what you want. When you don’t want to do anything? He’s there with you, ready to lay around doing nothing all day. Want to try something new? He’ll be there to try it with you. He’s extremely supportive in everything you do. Being a pushover, don’t expect him to protect you much. In private, he’ll pretend to be your prince that rescued you from the villains. Bit in public, you’ll have to be the one standing up for him. Please free this boy from all the things he wished he could say no to. He’s always counting on you; but at the same time, he doesn’t want you to worry too much for him.
Tomoya hates when you call yourself average. If he ever hears you say that, it’s the only time he’ll go off on you. Sometimes it turns into an hour long rant about how you’re anything but average. It’s almost amusing, but you hate being nagged at. Still, this is the only thing that he ever nags at you for. When you put yourself down like that, Tomoya feels as if he was the one being mentioned. You’re not average, he’s not average, and you two make anything but an average couple. Please get that through your head, or you’ll never hear the end of it. Say average again and the rant will double in time. But if you call yourself or him weird, it’s the same reaction. It can be tossed back and forth. Average? No! Okay, then weird? No! Then what? Neither? It takes a while for him to explain. But he still does, every time it’s brought up.
Tomoya is a sweet and loyal boyfriend. He’ll follow you anywhere, do anythning, or even go nowhere and do nothing. When he first met you, Tomoya knew that you weren’t average. After all, everyone has something that makes them special! After reading so many scripts about romance, they rubbed off on him quite a bit. That’s the only reason he believed that it could be love at first sight. He can be quite the pushover. At the same time, he relentlessly goes off for hours about how much he hates Wataru. He’s not average, but he’s not weird. He sure is a special boy that can be easy and hard to predict at the same time. Please protect him from Wataru the people that will take advantage of his inability to stand up for himself! Even if he seems avergae, he’s anything but that. He loves you more than anything, even if he has a hard time showing that it public. Just remind him that you care, and he’ll be the happiest boy alive!

Welcome to Paris Fur-ance Ch 8:  Sleepovers, Discussions, and Mischief
References in this chapter include the story "Sandcastle Showdown" by LuckyZiri, who can be found here, and other incidents are references to the story "BNA Incorrect Quotes" by AlexVifor, who can be found here.
Michiru, Nazuna, and Kagami have a sleepover. Meanwhile, Marinette has a talk with Tikki, and Plagg messes with Adrien.
Once the sun had begun to set, Kagami found herself surprised at what was happening. It had started as an innocent comment from Nazuna about how they were all sleeping over at her home. Then, Michiru took it a step farther, suggesting that they have a sleepover. Kagami hadn't expected such a request to have any ground to stand. Her schedule was strict. Nowhere near the level of Adrien, but still binding. However, when Michiru and Nazuna talked with her mother about the offer, Kagami's jaw nearly fell to the floor.
Tomoe Tsurugi had approved of her staying awake past curfew.
It was only for two hours, but that was impressive regardless.
This was why she was currently sitting on a pile of pillows, with Michiru and Nazuna both lounging in Kagami's bedroom. They were animatedly chatting about some of their misadventures from Anima City.
"There was this one time that I challenged Nazuna to a sandcastle contest." Michiru puffed her chest and smirked. "I totally won."
Nazuna rolled her eyes and smirked. "Really? I remember Shirou voting that I won that one."
"His choice was biased!" Michiru pouted and crossed her arms, making Nazuna laugh. "And besides, there was that time you decided to prank Shirou using memes, and he got you back."
"How was I supposed to know he was up to date on memes!? Do you have any idea how embarrassing that was when he did that? I was legitimately worried he'd just committed murder when brought in that body bag!" Nazuna blushed as she flailed her arm at Michiru, just barely missing the cackling girl as she leaned away. "Marie was recording the whole thing. I never should have made her my manager."
"Yeah, that was kinda dumb, considering we both know she's a hustler by nature." Michiru looked over at Kagami, but stopped smiling and raised an eyebrow when she saw how stiffly the girl was sitting. "Hey, you alright?"
Kagami jumped a bit before looking away. "S-Sorry. I've never done anything like this before. Up until recently, my schedule has made it hard to have friends, so this is very new to me."
Nazuna and Michiru's eyes practically bugged out of their heads. "Seriously!?" Kagami nodded, and Nazuna put a hand to her chest. "That sounds pretty lonely."
"It was." Kagami nodded sadly, but there was a small smile on her lips. "That thankfully changed as of late. The incident that happened to make us friends was rather... intense, but I am happy that I can call Marinette a friend, as well as for the minor amount of freedom from my mother." It wasn't like she could just tell the two about the time she got to be a hero for a day, but at least she could reminisce about the aftermath's results.
Nazuna rolled on the bed a bit and looked at Kagami with interest. "Can you tell us about her?"
Perking up a bit, Michiru practically bounced in place as she grinned. "Yeah, I only really ran into her when I was looking for Nazuna, and even then, I couldn't really talk to her. She seemed nice!"
Kagami smiled a bit as she looked down at her hands. "Marinette is... She is possibly the kindest and most selfless person in all of Paris. She has gone out of her way for the sake of her friends more often than not. She also has a brilliant mind to compliment her many accomplishments." The smile slowly faded as she started to get lost in her thoughts. "Though, that is not to say she has no shortcomings. Her confidence could use improvement, and she has lately been growing distant to those around her." Looking up, Kagami sighed. "To be honest, I worry about her. It's been clear that Something has her stressed, but she refuses to talk about it. She got better when Césaire stopped listening to that liar, but only a little."
Michiru hummed in thought and rubbed her chin. "Any ideas what it could be?"
"I had thought before that it was due to my relationship with Adrien, a classmate of hers whom she has feelings for." Kagami frowned as her eyes narrowed. "However, I have already jumped to conclusions once before, and do not wish to do so again." She glanced to the side as a particular thought came to mind. "It does not help that- that I am positive he does not reciprocate my own feelings."
Both girls looked at each other before turning back to Kagami. "What makes you say that?"
"There was a moment where we almost kissed, but-" Kagami looked to the side and sighed. "He hesitated, and nothing came of it."
The group sat in silence for a time, just letting the words hang in the air. Michiru rolled over onto her back and looked at Kagami upside down. "If he doesn't feel the same way back, then why are you guys still dating?"
Kagami's eyes closed as she shook her head. "It is... complicated. His father rarely gives him any freedom, even less than what I receive from my mother."
Nazuna raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "So, you're using each other?" Kagami glared at her before Nazuna raised her hands in defense. "I'm not trying to be rude, but that's what it sounds like. Both of you are continuing a charade just so you can leave your homes."
Her glare shifting into surprise, Kagami looked down to her knees and frowned. "Am I...?" A furry finger tapped on her knee, and Kagami looked up to see Michiru in her Tanuki form, giving her a sympathetic smile.
Nazuna rolled her eyes and shifted as well, before getting off the bed and sitting next to Kagami. It was, to Kagami's surprise, very... comfortable sitting next to them.
They were very fuzzy.
And warm.
...
She was slightly conflicted.
Nazuna broke the silence and gave Kagami a small smile. "Look, it might just be best to think it over for now." Letting her tail wrap around Kagami's waist, Nazuna brought her knees up and rested her arms against them. "If your feelings aren't being returned, it might be best to call it off. You'll find someone else eventually."
Michiru jumped to her feet and posed, puffing out her chest and grinning. "And besides! It's not like he's the only person you can ask to hang out with."
Kagami laughed a bit before Nazuna also spoke up. "What about Marinette? She's your friend, too, right?"
She was silent for a moment before smiling at the idea. "Perhaps I should ask Marinette if she has more free time. I'm sure she would love to meet both of you." A glance at Michiru made Kagami smirk a bit. "Again, in your case." From there, they descended into chatter and gossip, mainly being carried by Nazuna and Michiru, though Kagami did have a few stories to share of her own.
For the first time in a long time, it wasn't a lonely night in the Tsurugi household.
________________________________________________________________
As Marinette looked over her notes, Tikki looked rather pensive. It wasn't Something that Marinette would overlook, but for the past few minutes, she had decided not to bother Tikki. But even Marinette has her limits. The constant hovering between which shoulder Tikki would look over was starting to make the already stressed girl worry, so she put the list down and turned to face her Kwami. "Tikki? Is Something wrong?"
Tikki's pacing stopped as she came to hover in front of Marinette. "It's those new people from earlier you mentioned." Tikki landed in Marinette's hands, and her antennae drooped. "At first I thought what happened to them was because of the Akuma. But then they helped you purify it, and they stayed the same." Tikki shivered and looked out the window. "Something very wrong happened to them. My ladybugs couldn't even return those two girls back into being human."
Marinette's eyes widened as she stood up. "Wait, you mean-?"
Tikki nodded a bit and looked sad. "Your new friend, Michiru. She and her friend were once ordinary girls. I can feel it when I'm near them, almost like an echo, but it only lasts for brief moments. Their souls and bodies aren't in balance. I'm not even sure it would be possible for them to use a Miraculous without Something happening to them."
Feeling her jaw drop, Marinette's eyes moved to the window, and she frowned for a moment. "That's... that's horrible. Do you have any idea what happened to them?"
Tikki sadly shook her head. "No, but whatever it was, it had to have been some time ago. While they're still unbalanced, their souls and bodies are starting to align again."
"What about Mr. Oogami? Was there anything off about him?"
"I'm not sure." Tikki looked down and sighed. "You were transformed when you met him, so I wasn't able to tell much. Plagg always was better at that."
Humming, Marinette glanced at the miracle box for a moment before shaking her head. "Then let's hope that we won't need to give them a Miraculous." Marinette smiled a bit as she let Tikki fly up from her hands and moved to the balcony. "Thankfully, they seemed capable enough in a fight, if what Chat told me says anything. Mr. Oogami's skill will be needed if he agrees to help with this." Taking a moment to breathe the night air, Marinette calmed herself and stared over the roofs with a determined grin. "Tikki, Spots on!"
________________________________________________________________
Adrien was relaxing on his bed as he stared up at the ceiling. Thinking back on the day was making him feel conflicted. First, an Akuma led them all on a merry chase through Paris. Then, a pair of cute animal girls (and the wolfman) show up. Then a second Akuma appears, and his lady is nowhere to be seen?
The whole day was just weird.
"Plagg? I could use some advice."
Plagg, mid-bite of Camembert, sighed and rolled his eyes. "Look, kid, if you're going to ask about more girl troubles, leave me out of it."
"That's not it, Plagg." Adrien sat up and turned to the kwami.
Plagg narrowed his eyes at his holder for a moment. "Could have fooled me. Did a good job lying needlessly earlier today."
"Everyone expects me to be innocent, okay?" Adrien threw his arms up a bit and sighed.
Plagg smirked a bit and flew over to Adrien's desk, leaning against his keyboard as he took another bite. "I will admit, making your alter ego look like a closet degenerate certainly throws people off your trail."
Blushing a bit, Adrien stood up from his bed and glared. "I-I am not a closet degenerate!"
Casually leaning to the side, Plagg played with the mouse a little bit. "Oh, so you're a regular degenerate then?"
Adrien's blush grew as he tried to defend himself. "I am not!"
Plagg clicked the mouse and opened a folder on Adrien's desktop. "Alright, then what's this folder he-" At the sight of the file's contents, Adrien's blush reached its peak. Dozens upon dozens of cute anime girl pictures filled the screen. There was a single folder amongst them, and a few picture previews sported red and black spots. "Plagg, stay out of my computer, or I'll toss out your Camembert!"
Laughing, Plagg closed the file and flew around the room, Adrien chasing him all the while. "Alright, alright!" Plagg huffed before looking over Adrien's shoulder at the clock. "Also, weren't you supposed to meet up with Ladybug and that wolf guy about now?"
Looking at the clock himself, Adrien's face drained of color. "OH CRAP, I'M LATE!" Adrien scrambled over to his window and almost jumped out before remembering he still had to activate his ring. "Plagg! claws out!"

(1) Aaaa- Can I request a matchup if it's not too much for the cute admins of this cute blog? qwq I'm a 4'11" feet tall Asian girl usually wearing hair in pigtails. I tend to be pretty "motherly" ( from what I heard from my friends ) and am quite gentle, kind and slow pacing ( in terms of affection ), unless you manage to make me mad with the only fast way to do that is hurting people I care about, both physically and emotionally-
aah thank you so much for the nice words ♥ as usual, i’m only answering the first ask but rest assured, we received the other part as well ! i hope you’ll like your matchup ! - mod mademoiselle
Your matchis Hajime Shino !
It’s hardnot to feel at ease around you, really ! You’re kind and gentle, so people youmeet are not very likely to feel awkward… except maybe for Hajime. That boy wasliterally a nervous mess when the two of you first met. You got pretty worriedabout him and helped him get over it, and now he thinks he’s forever in yourdebt. That’s pretty much how things went !You’re always so nice to him, caring for him during idol training and makingsure everyone’s doing good and he loves that. He really wants to repay you someday, and he’s trying to figure out how he could do that…
He oncedecided to bring you homecooked food as thanks for always helping him out. He’sthe kind of person who treats that sort of thing very seriously, so you madehim very happy by accepting it ! Besides, he’s so good at cooking ! You quicklylearned that boy is basically the perfect wife : he can cook, clean, do thelaundry, sew… You often lent him a hand, worried he might not be able to do itall by himself. That’s how you slowly got to know this peculiar boy a bitbetter ! He still treasures dearly the memories of the many afternoons youspent together folding freshly washed clothes on the school’s roof.
If there’sone trait you share with Hajime, it’s your tendency to overwork. You don’t likeleaving things as they are, and it turns out you have a lot to do as aproducer. Hajime is worried about not being helpful enough to his unit andoverworks too… You often meet him when you go back home after a long day ofwork, and when you worry about him overworking himself, he shyly answers healso doesn’t want you overworking yourself. That’s how you suggested the two ofyou relax together, to make sure the other takes a break once in a while !Hajime was extremely flustered, thinking this was way too much like a date, butultimately had a lot of fun with you downtown. He still keeps the photos youtook together as a memento !
The moreyou spent time with him, the more you came to love him. He’s earnest, gentleand loves daydreaming. So many endearing qualities ! He also loves how motherlyand sensitive you are, as there’s nothing he likes more than gentle people… Butthat’s not all there’s to love : you also share hobbies ! Namely, your mutuallove for art ! Hajime draws too, and he was really impressed and humbled whenhe first saw your drawings. He admires you even more now… He was very shy abouthis own drawings but ultimately let you see them : he draws and paints beautifulsceneries, both real and imaginary ! You came to wonder if that’s howhe sees the world… Maybe that made you fall a bit more for him : his inner world looksso pretty and peaceful…
Hajimeadmires you a lot : you’re almost like a role model to him ! You’re alwayshelping your friends out and you inspire him to do the same ! He also finds itadmirable that you’re willing to overwork yourself to get things done, eventhough he’s a bit worried about your health. He’s also fascinated with your writing, and shyly asked if he could get to read what you write. He’s your fan now ! Sometimes, when you’re playing your guitar, he likes to listen to you and hum along. Hisvoice is the prettiest, and you always get absorbed in his singing…Really, he’s so peaceful and gentle, always helping you around. He also triesto help when he feels you’re hiding things to protect other people. That’sprobably one more reason why you fell for him : he was there by your side whenyou needed him…
To be fair,he’s always known he was in love with you but he was content with things beingjust the way they were. He got to be by your side every day, after all, whywould he try and risk upsetting you by telling you he loves you ? Besides, youmight already be in love with someone else for all he knows. So he chose tokeep silent, and you had to tell him about your own feelings to get him to openup. At first he thought it was a joke, or something one of your senpai forcedyou to do. You had to repeat it over and over again for him to understand youwere honest, and he teared up a bit. He was very flustered to say he loved youaloud, but that may have been the best decision he made in his entire life !After all, he gets to be your boyfriend now !
It’s Hajime’sfirst time being in love so he doesn’t really know how to figure things out,but he’s very enthusiastic about it ! He loves spending time with you more thananything else, but he’s still incredibly awkward with physical contact. Handholding or hugs are fine, but kisses always make him turn beet red. He’s alsotoo shy to initiate hugs, but you know for sure when he wants to : he getsreally clingy and fidgety ! He won’t ever admit it, but he’s feeling prettyjealous of all the other guys you might hang out with : they look much coolerthan him and maybe they’d make better boyfriends too… Please make him feelwanted and loved, there’s nothing that would make him happier than youraffection ! You’re his sweet girlfriend, after all !

Heyo! Can I request a matchup? I'm around 156cm tall, with short pastel pink-orange hair and light blue eyes. I'm awkward around new people, but I open up fast. Bad at eye contact. I tend to space out a lot. Laid back, but embarrassed easily! my face turns really red! I love making bad puns, laugh a lot, and tend to tease people close to me. I'm super self-conscious and stubborn,, I tend to hide my emotions, to not trouble others. Very clumsy, a destructive cook, and gets lost easily. Thanks!
Here comes thematchup ! aaah what a cute description ! also, welcome to my“Dyed-Haired Tenkousei” club ! *high five* i hope you’ll like it ! - mod mademoiselle
Your match is Leo Tsukinaga !
You met Leo around the same time you had to meet all the unit leadersin Yumenosaki, as the producer. You’d have to be friendly with them, after all ! Everyone seemed reliable enough, so when you heard ofKnights, you automatically thought their leader would be the bossy, cool and elegant type. Wrong. All wrong. You were there, facing anecstatic boy who claimed he’d just been abducted by aliens and couldstill “hear their vibrations”, whatever that was supposedto mean. (The truth is, he was knocked out cold by a tired Izumi.)
You really struck him as someone unique, when you two first met. He’d met tons of assistants and fans before, but you really standout. First of all, thanks to your bright hair. Truth be told, heprobably remembered you as “that fairy girl with pastel hair”.Yeah, he’s not very good with names. You surprised him a second time, though, when you offered to go back home with him. You quicklylearned the members of Knights have a tendency to take turns bringingLeo back home, just in case he’d get bright ideas and decide to hidein the school all night long. Leo was chirping happily, and you werelistening, finding yourself to already be at ease around thispeculiar boy. That is, until you realized you were completely, helplessly lost. And his sense of orientation is as bad as yours. Youtried to find your way back home, but only succeeded in getting evenmore lost when he decided to chase after a stray cat. In the end, youhad to call Izumi for him to come get you. He lectured you both anddecided you should never stay together with Leo without surveillance.
Your mutual friends, especially the Knights members, all agree inthat you and Leo share a similar… quirky vibe. You tend to spaceout a lot and they think you’re a bit ditzy ; on the other hand,Leo’s mind is a mystery no one can even claim to understand. Whentogether, you tend to suck away all the rationality in the room, which gives Tsukasa the shivers. Izumi calls you two “the commonsense black hole”. The truth is, you’re much more rational (andheck, even normal) than Leo, but as you love joking with him andteasing him, you often jump on the crazy bandwagon he seems to be thedriver of. Hey, nothing’s as funny as exploring the entire school tolook for clues about aliens ! Especially when you’re supposed to betraining. Expect another lecture from Izumi when you come back.
As much as Leo loves your laid-back, friendly and teasingpersonality, you two share a huge flaw : you tend to hide youremotions, especially to protect other people. I sure hope you don’tintend to make Leo admit how he really feels about you, because thisboy would be ready to jump out a window rather than be serious forone second. And as other people were also really close and friendlywith you, a few rumors about them having a not-so-secret crush on youspread in the school, you didn’t really want to admit that maybe youalso had just a tiny crush on Leo. Whenever he’d hold your handduring one of your explorations or treasure hunts, you’d always getreally embarrassed, butterflies in your stomach and all that. So, youhad to piece things together regarding how he felt about you. Forstarters, there were his songs : each new song would mention a“muse”, watching over a proud knights army and illuminatingthem with her grace and smile. Cheesy, right. Then, there are theother Knights members’ reaction every time Leo gets all clingy withyou, snuggling on the studio’s ground (yep, that’s right) andshouting how much he loves you. Arashi can’t help but giggle, Izumilooks like he’s feeling nauseous, Tsukasa just shivers violently andRitsu quietly flees the romantic atmosphere in the studio, as itdecidedly doesn’t fit his character.
You didn’t really know what to do about Leo, until big sis Arashicame to your rescue : expect him to prepare a full-fledged first datefor you two, and even a love confession script, to push yourrelationship in the right direction. Of course, Leo being Leo, thewhole date was a mess and he just did whatever he pleased. But thatwas a great first date all the same. Ignoring the whole script, youdecided to honestly confront him about his real, serious feelings, suspecting he might hide all that behind a happy-go-lucky facade. Andyou were damn right : he went quiet all of a sudden, bashfullyturning his eyes away from you. You had to confess your own feelingsfor him as he wouldn’t say anything, which prompted him to go rightback to his usual self. He even shouted something about you being hisinspiration, before cupping your face and loudly smooching you infront of everyone. Cue you getting really embarassed.
Dating Leo is truly a rollercoaster : you never know what’s going tohappen next. Sometimes it’s tiring, sometimes it’s energizing. Heshows a well-hidden sensitive side to you once in a while, and ashammy as he is, he’d do anything for you to be happy. You guys wouldbe so sweet together !
Other possible matches : Nazuna, Kanata, Tetora (in the mean time, please form an official “Kitchen Disaster” club with him)
