I saw an OC question that’s what is their first memory and I like that one so Let’s do it for all my pathfinder gremlins:

Roland: Realizing that he is not going to be adopted by anyone good and loving in a place like Westcrown and he’s more likely to end up a devil’s sacrifice, so he began planning to run away. Then when he did he fell in with some other street kids who helped him learn how to survive on his own on the dangerous streets of Westcrown.

Kiyo: Stargazing with their father as a young child, and asking questions about the constellations.

Sai: One of her many magic lessons from her Mamma.

Lucien: Hiding under the bed with his siblings when a wild griffin breached their island’s protections and attacked the village, and subsequently his father being critically injured.

Kaius: Playing a prank on one of his younger siblings and getting in trouble for it.

Umbrolus: TheWandering into the woods outside their home because he was bored, even though he knew he wasn’t supposed to. He was attacked by some roaming devils, but his parent swooped down and saved him before they could actually harm him.

Draven: Her earliest clear memory is of her family members’ horrific deaths—the rest is a bit hazy due to trauma—it’s not that she doesn’t remember her childhood entirely, but it’s all very vague and distorted. She doesn’t know which parts she remembers accurately and which parts she’s idealizing.

Calio: He has scraps of memory of being kidnapped by a Winter Witch and the horrible nightmares he had afterwards of some sort of ritual, but his first clear memory is of his family fleeing Irrisen, across the dangerous Realm of the Mammoth Lords and the Hold of Belkzen, and eventually settling in Ustalav.

Mau: His earliest memories are of him and his brother in an orphanage in Riddleport, his brother helping him because of his bad leg while they played a game together.

"Wood: Rowan

Rowan wood is associated with some kind of moral highground – wands made of rowan very rarely ever turn truly ‘evil’. (Of course‘evil’ is oftentimes up to interpretation… but I feel like no rowan wand ownerwould ever commit a crime fully knowing that they’d hurt or damage otherpeople.) Additional to that rowan is also linked to honesty and righteousness.A typical rowan owner is a highly (not excluding brutally) honest person with aclear moral compass and a strong sense of justice. Given that rowan is alsohighly protective and can produce very effective protective and defensive magicI could see it in the hands of Aurors, magical lawyers or judges.Although associated with honesty, rowan owners areoften not the easiest people to read. They often manage to keep cool on theoutside while being passionate and emotional on the inside. A typical rowanwand owner would value a clear, thought-out reaction over an emotional outbreakmost times. You usually have to know them quite well until you get to theirfiery, passionate core.An old saying is that ‘Rowan gossips’, and that might be true for some rowan owners. I feel like in general a rowan owner would simply value openness and honesty more than white lies and secrets, which could sometimes come across as ‘gossiping’ I guess.

Core: Unicorn tail hair

A unicorn core usually softens the traits of the wood,and I feel like it would do a nice job on the rowan. It prevents the owner fromclosing up their feelings too much. Unicorn provides introspection so that thewand owner would be more in touch with what they want and are passionate about,simultaneously a little less concerned with doing the right thing at any giventime.Also I think that a rowan wand with a unicorn core (asopposed to a dragon core for example) would be more tactful and less prone tobrutal honesty up to the point of hurting other people’s feelings.

Length: 14 inches

This wand is fairly long which usually indicates thatthe wand’s traits are quite distinct in its owner as well. It also means aclear dominance of the wood over the core. I’d imagine that with this combination the protective streak gets more of relevance. Also I just had a strong image of a person in my head who has a gift for persuading other peopleto do the ‘right thing’.

Flexibility: slightly springy

I always feel like a wand with very distinct character traits (such as rowan) profits from a little flexibility. It prevents the rowan owner from getting too caught up in their own morals and makes them more openfor different opinions.

All in all I feel like this is a very harmonious andcomplimenting wand combination with which the owner can achieve maximum growth– I can’t think of many better rowan combinations."

How I feel about this characterAlfie, followed closely by Michael and Ada, is my reason for watching s4. He was my absolute fave in s3, stole every scene.

All the people I ship romantically with this characterI can in all honesty say I don’t see Alfie as a romantic character in the slightest. Nobody.

My non-romantic OTP for this characterI want to say Ollie because I love him and I loved their dynamic but it’s gotta be Tommy doesn’t it? Their scenes bring me joy. The smashed vase? The cabinet to Mandalay? The entire 3.06 speech? Superb chemistry. The s4 bts shots on the beach are cause for cheer.

My unpopular opinion about this characterI guess that he wasn’t THAt great in s2. He had some good one-liners but felt a bit proppy and token in a ‘let’s get Tom Hardy in a rummery being intense’ kind of way. Of everybody he got the best development in s3 and I loved, LOveD him out of his previous contextual necessity as the force of nature he is.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.I’d like to see him and Tommy in a fistfight, both exhausted and languishing in separate corners at the end. I do not know why and it’s bothering me but there you go...

A Life Update

Hello wandering souls, if there’s any of yous around, bored and actually interested in my blog. I titled this one a life update, even though when I started the blog I told myself to keep my personal life out of it, I just couldn’t. And uh well.. simply because sometimes there’s really no one else listening. My life has really been crazy, and like more so than usual. It has really had an effect on my mental health. I haven’t been myself in a long time and I hide it well from everyone around me. Only one person sees through me but they don’t deserve to carry my burden and sometimes it’s just not that easy to explain. I have been in a dark place that I don’t recognize, except maybe a little piece of me does. I don’t know where this place is or where it came from but it kinda has always just existed somewhere in me. My heart aches when I’m in this place, I feel it, heavy like it might explode and give out on me. It hurts...but it’s a different type of hurt. The hurt that fills you with sorrow, a deep sadness and you don’t even know why and it makes you cry, sometimes so hard the air escapes and you gasp for a breath but you can’t even describe why you were even upset. That was almost poetic except it describes something that feels like death, like a part of you dies inside but you’re still alive. And you carry on day in and day out, going to school, to work, to wherever, and it follows you because you can’t ditch your mind. And when you least expect it you feel that first ping of hurt in your chest and you know the attack is coming so you carry the pain, you almost embrace it while you wait for the storm. And when you think it’s done, it’s not because the night comes and it that’s when it thrives. Especially when you’re alone at night and there’s no one to save you but then you remember there never actually is someone to save you even in the daylight. You have to save yourself and it’s really hard, especially when giving up is just so easy. I don’t know if anyone else knows of this place or ..maybe you’re there too. I’m finding my way out of it and getting back to myself...you should too. Until next time, maybe I’ll see you in passing from this place..
