He couldn’t believe it. The dark haired male sat down on a stone bench right across from a park where a young kid was playing with her dad. As he sat down his back melted to the bench and he leaned against the harsh material. His eyes closed as he tilted his head up towards the sky that was a shade of ugly gray. It was obvious that it was going to rain soon, but there were still some people running around because they had an umbrella, or they were planning on leaving anyway. Jaejoong had neither of those ideas. He didn’t feel like going back to his hotel where his brothers were, nor did he want to go buy an umbrella.
He just wanted to sit there on his bench.
A deep breath escaped the boy’s lips as he then opened his eyes to look at the gray sky. His thoughts going back to what he had just learned about his family. They were still alive. They were still here. They were still wanting to meet their daughter. Jaejoong couldn’t believe it at all; he couldn’t understand why it had to be the old man that he had met in the park a few days ago was his grandfather.
The man that had kicked his mother out for being pregnant, only to find out that that wasn’t necessarily the case. Why? Why couldn’t he have been an asshole instead of the old man that he could tolerate.
The dark haired male reached up to grip on to his shirt as he contemplated on what to do. Should he tell his brothers? Should he just forget about it? What should he tell the old man when he met him again? He had ran away so suddenly there was no way that he could just come back to him without a reason as to why he left so quickly. Especially when the old man looked so sad when he talked about his daughter. He had just left him there when he could have said or done something.
Perhaps he should go back to him. Yeah. That..He should do that. The dark haired male thought as he stood up from the bench to start running back to the old man that he had left. Maybe…he should tell him that he was the child of his daughter. Maybe he would want to know that. Maybe. Everything will be OK.
Jaejoong thought as he stopped when he had hit a stop light. The light had stated that it was red with a figure that was standing still. Jaejoong looked on both sides and there was heavy traffic indeed. Not to mention that he had to remember that even if it was a stop sign there were people that tended to speed through them.
As he waited there by the stop sign his mind went back only to his grandfather that he had just met. As he did this he looked up, and watched the people that were walking on the far side of the busy street. He wasn’t paying attention to what they were doing, but he had them in his sights. It was so that when he was thinking he didn’t have to focus on one person as his thoughts were jumbled up.
The first raindrop had fallen on to the cement, and after that people were one by one puling out their umbrellas. Holding them high above their heads in various colors as they walked up and down the sidewalk. At this time the light had changed, and people were able to walk across the street.
Jaejoong saw the light change out of the corner of his eye, and he looked in both directions before crossing the street. Yet as he got to the middle of the road his hear head a screech. Knowing automatically what was going on he turned to look on he other side of the road to confirm what was going to happen.
It ended up going so fast for him. He saw a guy walking in the road, and then a man in a car hitting the brakes. Jaejoong, working automatically, had dashed towards the other to try to get him out of the way. Although no matter how fast Jaejoong was, the car would still win by a landslide.
The car ended up smashing into the man that had been walking, and as he stopped the rest of the cars around him had tried to stop. As they did this they ended up crashing into other cars, or splitting up to form a circle of cars around the man that was hit.
Oh god. Jaejoong thought to himself as he jumped on to the cars to get to the man that had been originally hit. He didn’t stop to wonder why he cared about the other, nor did he stop to think about his own safety. All that was going through his mind was that this person was seriously hurt.
As Jaejoong jumped on top of the car that hit the man he then jumped down to land next to the male that was hit. Blood was spewed everywhere as it was getting mixed with the rain that was beginning to turn heavy. Since Jaejoong was used to blood, he didn’t stop as he got down towards the other.
Putting a hand on top of the other to see if he was already dead or not. As he looked the male over he could see his chest was barely moving. Well at least he wasn’t dead. Jaejoong thought as he then took a look at the male’s head. That was good.
But those were the only two things that were. The man was a mess…A pure mess.
Jaejoong then took out his phone to text his emergency call operator. Once the man switched to video, Jaejoong had signed to him that there was a man that was hit by a car on a street. That was when he had heard the shout of, “Just kill me now!" by the man in front of him. Jaejoong signed ‘hurry’ to him and then put the phone on the ground. Probably going to die, but that was fine because he had to work fast.
The dark haired male reached over to touch the other’s cheek. His hand laying softly on his cheek as he then looked around to see if anyone was noticing what he was about to do, but since the cars were blocking everyone’s vision he thought that this was fine.
He needed to do it to save the man’s life. Jaejoong let out a deep breath, and then his hand started to make the other’s skin glow under his palm. It was a soft glow that was rather unnoticeable by anyone on the outside if they saw, but the other could probably see it.
He was going to heal him until the paramedics came. Jaejoong decided as he then pulled Jaejoong into his lap, and continued to heal him. Right now all he wished that he could do was to tell the other that everything was going to be fine, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t talk at all. So instead he just concentrated on healing.
The paramedics came later then usual due to the cars that were circling around the two, and by then Jaejoong was able to significantly heal the other. The paramedics loaded the hurt man into the ambulance, and then they pushed Jaejoong into the ambulance thinking that perhaps they were connected.
As they drove the paramedics worked on Jaejoong until they got to the hospital where he was then rushed into the ER. Leaving the gumiho to sit outside to wait for the man to get out.
Another gloomy morning...
Jaejoong thought to himself as he made his way out of his apartment to head to work, umbrella tucked into his backpack in case it rained on his way there. It was days like this that made him just want to stay in the warm and dry confines of his apartment, curl up in bed and cuddle with his dogs without having to worry about anything else.
But this is what came with being a restaurant owner, he figured, and whining about it wasn't going to do him any good so instead he just quietly ran down the streets of Seoul to head towards his restaurant.
His mind has been filled with many thoughts recently, and he always found that leaving to and from work were the times that he contemplated about everything the most. Mostly because that was the only time when he was actually alone.
But that morning, as he was lost in one of his many thoughts, he didn't seem to be paying attention to what was going on around him. Not at the cars or the large crowd of people that were probably headed towards their jobs as well.
Usually though, his attention would still be focused on the settings around him, even as he thought of the many things playing in his mind. His eyes would focus on the streets, the cars, the bikers, the people, making sure that he stayed safe as he crossed the road.
But for some reason, that morning was different. There had been so much happening in his life that it just clouded his mind - and his sight as well, it seemed. Because as he was crossing the street, he did not notice the car that failed to stop at the red light. The car that was speeding to make a turn and making it impossible to stop on time before hitting the blond.
He didn't notice, until he felt a sharp pain in his side and he was knocked down onto the floor with a loud cry, the car smacking into him so hard he nearly flew back onto the sidewalk.
He didn't know what was happening as he laid there on his back, staring up at the sky as he tried to regain his breathing. His chest suddenly felt tight, and his shirt felt wet... And he didn't want to look down in fear of what he would see.
He wasn't going to make it out of this alive, was he? "Just kill me now!" He cried out when he felt someone kneeling down beside him, barely able to make out their words. His ears seemed to be blocked, his vision turning into a slight haze as he felt unfamiliar hands take hold of his body.
Jaejoong repeated those words that he had said just a few seconds ago, this time in more of a slur as he could feel himself slowly losing consciousness, eyelids falling shut as he just gave in and rested against the stranger that was by his side.
An unfamiliar sensation filled his chest and mind, and the pain that he had been feeling a few seconds earlier was slowly fading - although, he could still feel a harsh stab in his side. He didn't know what was happening, but a that point he didn't care. He was going to die, and he just had to accept that.
With that thought in his head, he let his eyes fall shut. A single tear rolled down his cheek and a pained whimper left his lips before he succumbed to the tired feeling that had taken over his body, completely unaware of everything that was taking place around him.
"Just let me... die..."

Dangerous secrets; Junho & Jinah
No one would have ever have come to fathom that one of the weathiest business leaders of Korea had been involved in such a scandal. A scandal that obviously involved women in where he had been naive enough to be caught. He wasn’t married, but he did have a long term girlfriend that he was going to wed. Now he had a baby that he was going to have to take care of and have two women? Not to mention that one was an Indonesian hooker…It was a scandal, but it was one that he was willing to go to great lengths to have covered up. Most gangs could do this in their sleep, but it wasn’t that the man wanted it covered up. He wanted everything to be completely gone. He wanted the Indonesian woman to be dealt with along with the child. Yet he didn’t want the woman to die, but having her leave for a while always means that she could come back witht he child which would lead to an even worse arrangement.
This was how the man had tried to invest with the Three Wise Monkeys. A very hush hush gang that most gangs would not have even heard of. They didn’t deal with drugs nor with trivial matters that most gangs dealt with. No. They had their eye on things that were much bigger. Their eye was a more political agenda. Sounds a bit common. Something that movies would make up and ultimately the gang wouldn’t succed, but none of them were the Three Wise Monkeys. The gang that wasn’t only after Korea, but for more. They wanted political control on the East Asian side. Why? No one knew. All that anyone had ever known is that getting in contact with them is near impossible, and if there was a reason to meet with them, it had to be for a good reason.
The wealthy man had sat at the table. Fixing his tie and shifting in his seat. He was rather handsome, young, and looked like he had aged with worry. Junho had saw the man from the glass window as he looked at him and sighed to himself. How the hell did a novice like this guy end up getting a hold of their number. They needed to go more underground. Junho thought as he wasn’t meant to work with a guy who was making it obvious that meeting with someone important. How aggravating. Junho thought as he entered the building. As he did he had sat down in front of the other with a relaxed look.
“If you want to live, relax right now." Junho spoke in what appeared to be a heavy forgien accent, but it was really because he was deaf. He spoke with ease since he had to speak to his brother since his was little, and therefore had become superior at speaking. It was only the stupid accent that came with that he couldn’t get rid of because he had never spoke before. Did he know how different he sounded? No, because to him he just guessed that he sounded awful. Mostly because he hated speaking, but when hew as on the job he did. He had to speak to cover up that he was deaf.
“You are-.”
“Obviously." The man smiled nervously and looked at his hands. He clasped them together and tried to get a grip on the situation. He then looked right at Junho to use his tactic of business.
“I will give you anything that you want. I have a problem with a Indonesian hooker that is pregnant with my child. It was a set up, and I just need-." The man had instantly stopped talking when he had heard someone walk into the building. He sat back to look more relaxed, and kept his eyes on the girl that was walking in. Now, he looked like he knew what hew was doing because he had to make sure that this didn’t get out to the media. No one could know.
Junho had stopped listening when he had watched the man’s lips say that there was a hooker that was pregnant with his child. To him this was pitful to see, and to relive. Who would want to abandon their child? He looked back at the man who had started to talk to him nonchalantly. Talking about some kind of business that he was sure that Jihoon could understand, but all he got was that some of his stock went up by three percent. Right. A man like him probably set up a meeting with someone so that he looked like just a guy that was going to talk to him. It was smart thinking, but not something that Junho was going to take into consideration.
Upon noticing the change in conversation, and guessing that someone was going to meet him, Junho looked towards his side to see a rather pretty girl. He have a charming smile towards her, but as soon as he did he read her lips of, ‘You are in my seat’. His smile didn’t faulter and he nodded towards her. He didn’t say or sign anything towards her, and instead got up from the seat to then look at the man next to him.
“Do we have a deal?" The man spoke and Junho shook his head ‘no’ as he walked away from the table. Once he did that though, the man’s face seemed to have went into a shock. He was frozen on the spot as Junho walked out of the building.
The secrets always seemed harder hitting when dealing with scandals of the most powerful, and the wealthiest of men in the business world which would fall right beneath the political in Jinah’s mind. The public would become outraged if they knew of this man’s dirty little secrets; of course that had been the whole reason why she got put on this story. If there were a truth meant to be out then Im Jinah was the woman to do it because she faced everyone fearlessly. Or at least she tried her best to not be moved no matter what many of them would threaten her with, even if it meant her life the truth would make it out into the world for everyone to see.
She had become even more invested in this particular piece when a young lady approached her seemingly desperate to get the truth out. Jinah felt weary in the beginning, but her soft heartedness had her sympathizing with the other on top of the fact that she was very much pregnant. “He won’t avoid you for long, don’t worry about it.” Jinah had told the woman confidently then set up a meeting to do a laid back interview with him. Little did he know he’d walked himself right into her claws and she wouldn’t leave there until he owned up to his responsibilities--- anything could happen that the reporter wasn’t aware of.
Just as she’d entered the restaurant there had been a rather charming fellow sitting there, not that it phased her in the least she tried not to get deterred by anything when, or any man for that matter. “You are in my seat.” She said to his after being momentarily swooned by that smile, but her head shook as she needed to focus. Though she wondered what must’ve been going on there by the look on the other’s face had he really been talking stocks with this man. A brow rose curiously before she bowed her head in apology to the male that got up, briefly catching the rejection he gave to the not so innocent business man that now sat across from her.
Scoffing then he looked as though he’d just lost the biggest deal of his life, or maybe something more. This is when she would make her move. “Seems that you’ve got a lot going on Mr. Jang, with a baby on the way and all---…. Actually how is your wife doing these days?” Jinah spoke nonchalantly with a soft smile that spread along her lips. The man then turned to look at her with a pale at expression, before he tried to push a smile chuckling outwardly so that he could play it off as if he thought she were joking. In his mind he knew that she couldn’t possibly know, it just wasn’t possible; “My wife is well thank you, erm you’ll have to excuse me for one moment please I’m terribly sorry.” Jinah opened her mouth ready to stop him dead in his track, but before she could he’d risen out of his seat in haste, desperate to catch up to the man who’d just walked out of the building.
“I’ll give you anything at all you want please--- Just please help me.” Keep his voice low he tried to catch the fellow by his shoulder which Jinah caught sight of as she followed the older male out much too curious for her own good. What could it be that he needed help with so desperately? If it had anything to do with the story then she had to find out.

Shihoo had been wandering around the city to try and grasp a few common things that humans do when out and about. Though, it seemed harder than he thought after an hour and a half had past with him just staring at the people walking by. But when he sees someone drop their things, he had stood up and went over to them, knelling down to help the stranger. "It's pretty windy today. Be sure to hold onto your things more tightly."

“I don’t care about your name.” Jihoon muttered quickly as he heard a male approach him after saying hello. His head turned away from the other to show that he wasn’t going to get his attention but as Jonghyun continued to talk he had continued to listen.
Tumblr media
“Alright. Ding-a-ling. Why are you here? Still talking really…I don’t..get it." Jihoon motioned towards Jonghyun as he talked about how it was a pleasure to meet him and ask who he was. The nickname Ding-a-ling came from him hearing Jonghyun’s name. Jong was some kind of bell and the two just linked together.
He was told that he could call him anything.
"I know." He nodded his head as he continued to hold up his smile eyes focused on the man, sticking his hands into his pockets already realizing the other male wasn't going to shake it in the first place. "I supposed, I'm not wanting to leave simply because I wonder what sort of person you could be - or if I could work on a friendship here?" He shrugged his shoulders, turning his head to look around as a small sigh escaped past his lips. "However, you can walk away if you would like to." He nodded his head, if there was one thing jonghyun hated - was holding people back and bothering them, but for this single moment, he actually hoped the other male wouldn't.

Christmas and New Years had come and gone, and people had slowly but surely began working again. And they would comment on how fast it had went and 'oh where did my vacation go' and such, appearing solemn to see it pass. But to a person who relied on the silence of shop to keep him both occupied and sane at mind he welcomed it with open arms. So when people started coming back to his store he would sit behind the counter on his chair with a coffee in one hand, a book in the other and call out "Welcome."
