There is so much about writing a book that has nothing to do with writing....there is daydreaming and staring out of the window, there is a lot of editing (and insane procrastination to avoid editing) and thete is a LOT of reading. By the time a book is "done" (a book is never really done, one simply runs out of time), I've probably read it about 8 times at least. This weekend I've been reading book 4 for the very last time and I'm so bored of it - I couldn't care less if all the characters caught on fire.
