You, um, you weren't there, were you? I'd never been there before, but it wasn't a good time. Not at all.

I had a burger there when I toured UMaine last year. Wasn’t poisoned, thankfully. It’s a real pity that it’s closed down now, the secret sauce they had was pretty good.

Got Milk? | Shiloh & Skylar

Shiloh knew she had to go out, specifically during the day. Vitamin D and all that. She knew this, has known this ever since she was a teenager. And yet, she could only manage to pull herself out from bed once night had fallen. Maybe the nighttime would keep her hidden from everyone. All she wanted to do was be unseen. Her parents thankfully respected the distance she had created but unfortunately considering she was gone for a while, she had nothing in her fridge or pantry to make what she wanted.

To Tooks it is.

She found the butter, eggs and milk with ease but was having trouble finding currants. The basket was held by one arm but she had mild difficulty holding it for too long, her wounds were still healing. “Where the hell are they?” She muttered to herself, wondering if she was just passing them. After all, it didn’t take more than a minute for her to start thinking of her dead cousin and she would miss what’s right in front of her.

Aha! Currants. She went to check out and as she returned her basket to the entrance, she got distracted for a moment, not mindful if she was in the way. She soon felt a presence and moved aside. “Sorry, am I in the way?” She apologized and looked up.

Oh, you do cosplay? That's so cool! Do you have a particular go to costume or character that you really like?

Oh, did I summon a legit nerd? I mean, I’ll take what I can get at his point. Might lead somewhere... I like urban fantasy. I know those sexy vampire shows are kind of cliche, but a girl’s gotta have her guilty pleasures, right? Plus it’s easy to dress up as those characters. All you really have to do is be hot and have the confidence to rock a pair of fake fangs. Both of those things come natural to me.

Like I said, I’m not to great at the more creative stuff like hardcore special effects make-up. But I’d like to find some people who could give me a few pointers.

Oh, well, like-- not feeling pain and healing fast helps. But like, there’s supernatural drugs, apparently. I sort of just learned about them, too, but I hear they can actually work on people like us.
