1830s - Simplistic evening dress -

Long time no see! i did say i would make an 1830s evening dress however i was really not happy with how it turned out. so i just let it sit for quite a while but i thought why not put it up for download as a little new years gift since i haven’t uploaded anything in a while! so, not my best but enjoy this simple evening dress for your sims! it should be BGC!

Edwardian evening dress #2

They are inspired by the edwardian period, but can be used in any formal occasion since. It’s a recolour, you need to download the original mesh by @sifixcc.

1830s Garden stroll dress, 41 swatches

hello! i have now finished the “coming soon” wip and here it is! a late 1830s dress for your sims that can work for 1840s also! i must thank @simverses for helping me out, i couldn’t have done it without you! this dress also has four types of patterns and one plain no pattern one all in pale and dark colors with 41 swatches.last pic is inspo 😁

Prince George Thomas Alexander of Brosnia marries Miss Amelia Clarisse Hughes, now Duke and Duchess of Deveraux

1911. The wedding was celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral, as well as the Queen and King Joseph’s wedding in 1888. The ceremony was officiated by His Exellency the Bishop of Windenburg. More than 200 guests attended the celebration, including the members of the royal family and most of the brosnian aristocracy.

The bride wore a beautiful white lace dress and a white bouquet and looked very happy as she was walking down the aisle accompanied by her father, Sir Joseph Hughes.

This highly expected marriage represents the future of the nation and the certainty that brosnian tradition live on and will continue to do so. We wish the newlyweds the best and we hope they will soon provide the country with an heir now that they are united in holy matrimony.

After the ceremony, the couple and the royal family went back to Cleavreau Palace, where they made their traditional appeareance at the balcony to greet all the people who went there to celebrate this remarkable occasion.

Later in the evening, a state dinner was held at Cleavreau Palace and her Majesty Queen Edith II announced her present for the young couple: Deveraux Castle, one of her country homes. The new Duke and Duchess of Deveraux are going to live there until their reigning time begins.

The Duke and Duchess of Deveraux welcome their first child: it’s a girl!

1915. It’s a girl! In times of war, good news are always twice as good. The Duchess of Deveraux gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. It’s the Duke and Duchess’s first born and therefore, the second in line of succession to the brosnian throne, just behind her father.

She was christened HRH Princess Clarisse Amelia Victoria of Cleavreau and Brosnia two weeks after her birth in a small ceremony at Cleavreau Palace’s small chapel in Champton. Her godparents were Mr. Thomas Hughes, the duchess’s brother, and HRH Princess Susan, the Duchess of Noirée, Prince George’s sister.

Her Majesty the Queen couldn’t attend the ceremony due to important engagements involving the war minister, Lord McCallister and the President of the Nation, Lord Shaw.

The Duke of Deveraux will go back to the war front now that the little princess has been christened to continue helping his father, King Joseph, to lead the brosnian army against the gaurei forces. God help them.

The King and the Duke of Deveraux visit the troops

1914. His Majesty King Joseph and Prince George, the Duke of Devereaux visited the Jamson Military Base this morning. They reviewed the new facilities that have been built in order to accommodate the new soldiers while they complete their training time before going to the front. Later on, they met with the brosnian’s military high commands to discuss strategies and coming war plans.

The president, Lord Shaw, has assured the nation that this war will be won for “the honor and freedom of this our country”, but in order for that to happen, every brosnian citizen has to contribute in any way they can. In these difficult times we must all pull together and trust in our boys at the front, who are putting their lives at risk for their Queen and country. As the Queen asked on her latest statement, “(...)Please, pray for them, take care of yourselves and take care of others. Generosity will be rewarded in the end(...)”

Prince George announces his engagement

1910. Last Friday, in occasion of the prince’s 20th birthday a ball was held at Cleavreau Palace. The prince was expected to dance with all the unmarried ladies there in order to choose a suitable bride, as is tradition in Brosnia. However, he surprised all the guests by appearing with Miss Amelia Hughes, the eldest daughter of Sir Joseph Hughes. Later in the evening he asked for the lady’s hand, which Her Majesty Queen Edith naturally had given permission for. There is no short notice on when the wedding will take place, but it probably wont take long now that it’s been announced. As future king and after having finished his military training, now the prince is 20 he is going to start taking on more royal duties and learn along side his mother the Queen.

Her Majesty Queen Edith and  HRH King Joseph wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate the young couple and announce a coming speech in which the Queen will adress the nation regarding the increasing tension at the colonies. The fear for a war is in everday’s news and the country must be prepared for whatever may come.

This picture was taken the morning of that same day, before the church service that celebrated the prince’s birthday.

“We are at war with Gauland”

1914. Her Majesty Queen Edith II of Brosnia made a public statement yesterday to announce that Brosnia has declared war to Gauland after the events that took place last Monday in Port Monica. Here’s an abstract of her majesty’s statement:

“(...)I am very sorry to announce that we are at war with Gauland. After the offenses against our country instigated by the gaurei government and the events that took place last Monday and ended the lives of 17 brosnian soldiers, our government has no choice but to declare the war and fight for the honor and freedom that has always distinguished our country. We are a small yet strong and rich nation that will not accept defeat over a government's vile and heinous beliefs and actions. We will fight for the rights that God and our ancestors have given us.(...)”

12.000 brosnian soldiers have already been sent to the front under the orders of the army’s Captain Generale, HRH King Joseph. All men between the ages of 16 and 40 will have to report their “willingness to fight” over the next 60 days at their respective war offices that will open in each county this week. There they will be examined by a doctor and if they are found healthy they will be told where their destination post is. As the Queen said, “if we all pull together, I have no doubt: we are going to succeed”.
