Night Chair by DeDeSims

In 19th Century, this item was located in a special separate room or was moved around the house. Grander versions sometimes resembled a real throne, hence perhaps the term “sit on the throne”, referring to the toilet seat. The press advertised stools as “armchairs for going outside while staying inside”. Ebony wood.

It has a low seat, enclosed, with a flap under which there is a hole, intended for a chamber pot. A door is fitted at the back, which could be opened with a key in order to replace the vessel.

Sabine stepped onto the stage of the outdoor amphitheater, her heart pounding as she looked out at the rows of stone seats rising around her. The crowd was scattered but attentive, all eyes on the hopefuls auditioning under the open sky. Consus sat at the front, his expression calm and focused as he waited for her to begin. 🎭🏛️

Swallowing her nerves, Sabine introduced herself, her voice barely more than a whisper at first. “I’m Sabine,” she said, clutching her harp tightly. “I learned to play from my mother… this piece is for her.” 🏺

With a deep breath, Sabine lowered herself onto the stool, positioning her harp carefully as she glanced at the stone arches casting shadows around the stage. She closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun above, the hum of the crowd around her. Then, hands trembling, she placed her fingers on the strings and began to play…

hello! i have now finished the “coming soon” wip and here it is! a late 1830s dress for your sims that can work for 1840s also! i must thank @simverses for helping me out, i couldn’t have done it without you! this dress also has four types of patterns and one plain no pattern one all in pale and dark colors with 41 swatches.last pic is inspo 😁

Royal Collection Horses by DeDeSims

With the release of "The Sims 4 - Horse Ranch", I was happy because finally we can have horses, something I missed in my historical gameplay, embarking on this theme, I decided to create a series of recolors with real paintings that you can find on the "Royal Collection Trust" website, so here they are, hope you like it!

Terpsichore Lyran (1816) by Antonio Canova (1757–1822)

In Greek mythology, Terpsichore was one of the nine Muses, or goddesses of creative inspiration. The lyre, the Greek inscription on the short column, and the caduceus (entwined snakes) on the side identify the figure as Terpsichore Lyran, muse of lyric poetry. This sculpture began with a commission from Napoleon's brother, Lucien, for an idealized portrait of his wife, Alexandrine. Antonio Canova made this version for a British aristocrat and exhibited it in 1817 at the Royal Academy in London to great acclaim.

Portraits of the Royal Family of Arendelle, commissioned by Queen Iduna, for Winterhalter in the summer of 1837. By this time the princesses had already debuted and until then they did not have an official portrait at court, so the Queen commissioned four portraits from Winterhalter, one of each one of the princesses, one of the Queen herself and one of the King. The original canvases have since been in the Royal Palace in Arendelle, and other copies were sent as gifts by the Queen to her siblings, for example the Queen consort of Sweden, who at that time was the sister of Queen Iduna of Arendelle.
