Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse // Okay yeah, this one was dope as hell. The soundtrack, the animation, the cast of characters, the voice acting. I didn't realize it was a two parter until I watched it in theaters so I'm a little bitter but its FIIIINE.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves // I thought this came out like 2 years ago? Anyways, it totally captured the spirit of D&D without mocking it. And the ending was very sweet tbh.

The Boy and the Heron // I could never resist putting a Miyazaki film. This one was really great! Robert Pattinson did amazing, you wouldn't even be able to recognize him. The whole cast was amazing, lot of hard hitters!

1) i actually posted about it lol but i say my hypmic anniversary is when death respect came out!!! i got into around that time when a third jp merch site i used to shop at had a listing for bbmtc patches and yamada ichiro’s patch was the cutest thing i had ever seen lmao

2) besides ichiro’s face lol i listened to dba and was sold

3) hm!! i think it tracks with other stuff i obsess with!!! there’s characters with depth, finding bonds with each other/being found family, with a healthy dose of action!!!! the fact it’s told thru music is a plus; the fandoms i hung around longest in the past utilised character songs to supplement their character and i lost my mind then much similarly to the way i do now lol

4) i didn’t have a negative opinion on anybody the moment they appeared actually!!!! (except for rei lol but that was because he was disrespecting ichijiku and not for his crimes as a deadbeat dad lol) obvs the ones who stood out were ichiro, then jakurai, and then kuukou lol

good morning, today is a better day.

i feel like all my work in the morning for the past 2 days have really helped achieved this feeing of me tal safety. To explain

3 days ago i learned that Gabbi had cut me off. It was hard to find out, i went ahead and slept it off, it meant nothing to me at night. I woke up and the information sunk into my heart. I was at my worst that morning, but i forced nyself to do good to myself. I remember not wanting to move, but i put my clothes in the laundry, showered, meditated, had a good bfast too with black bean noodle and some egg. It was good. Then i had work later with Darren and Dhan. It sucks because i love working with Darren and Dhan but i wasn't in no mood to communicate or talk to anybody. It makes me sad. I went home and facetimed Nicole and she had told me the true meanings as to why Gabbi had cut me off, which included why kiana had cut me off as well.

i went home and showered, got into bed and listened to music the whole time. I didn't want to talk to my parents, i didn't want to do anything bro. I waited for my parents to sleep just so i can eat by myself. I remember crying to Nicole about this moment because i felt like there was no hope for me. I remember late at night i hopelessly texted Kev so that we can talk it out. I needed to talk it out with somebody. Somebody who'd have my back. The insecurity within me had a feeling he wouldn't like what he heard or even lose another friend with him. It turned out well though.

The next day, I did the same stuff. I woke up, showered, did my laundry, made bfast, and even picked up an earlier shift. I usually work 4-9, but on this day i worked 1-9 so i was there longer. It turned out to be good for me. As i mentioned, i had to meet up with kev to talk about it. It was really good for my mental. I feel like i'm really learning how to grow and surround myself with good things nowadays. I guess i've experienced so much people leaving my life and the presence of their absence affecting me had taught me something 😂🤝😂. It's crazy, anyways, Yeah he was able to give me the guidance i needed. He told me that what i did isn't as severe as to what people are doing concurrently. Men are doing much worse than what i've done. He also said something very nice to me near the end, where i was dropping him off at his place. I was playing a logic song, a song off his new album No Pressure, but the song was in the background really so i wasn't paying attention. Kev placed my attention to the song and he said to me that he doesn't want me to be in the fear of being "cancelled" or crossing paths with somebody that doesn't like me because "that's not freedom."

That's not freedom. The song was "Amen", one of his favorite song off No Pressure. What he said there was something i carried through the whole day. I went to work after i dropped him off and i was thinking about that endlessly. I went to work and Kevin & Will were working. I realized that i like working with Kevin because he actually likes to talk and conversate. He's not as bad as people talk about him. It's merely the opposite, he surprises me. At the beginning he was hard on me when making drinks because, i was learning yenno? But now, when i do something "lazy" i'm surprised that he does the same. He made 3 drinks in a a blender lol. I've gotten condemned for doing such so i don't do it anymore. Anyways, talking and working the first half of the shift was nice. I was happy to talk to him. Kathy and Solo came in later. Solo is always dope, it's hard to talk to him doe because he's quiet as fuck and i like my music loud lol. Then Kathy was where it was at tho. I'll just say what she told me rather than how the conversations went. She told me she used to study film. She wanted to be in Film Production(i think) and went into Film Criticism on accident bc she wasn't looking close enough as to what she was studying or what classes were part of the curriculum. She told me as well that she's married, and that her and her husband used to own a restaurant, an american chinese place like Panda Express. 3 years ago she used to work at a boba shop, a local one in Orange County. I noticed that she refrains from telling me the names of the places she works, maybe those were years she didn't want to remember. It's understandable. 2018 and 2019 are years I do my best not to remember. Typing those years out actually made me reminisce and wow yeah i understand her, suggesting that her bringing up the names were the case as to why she wouldn't wanna talk about them.

Anyways, later in the shift around 6-7 it got busy and i started getting real mentally negative. It was insane to me, i started just drifting off while making drinks and i remember secretly slamming my hand down on bar. It just sounded like normal noise considering things are slammed all the time anyways, so nobody noticed anyways. Later, something crazy happened. I saw a girl come up and she had very familiar eyes. This is where my ability to recognize people astonishes me because I saw this girl's eyes and i recognized her as Noah Abel Cruz's girlfriend. Then i look whose next to him and it was Noah lmao. I had the quickest intuition to discount them, then i pulled out... i didn't tell Kathy to discount them... I wish i did. It was like my authentic self remember 2014, then my older self remember 2017-2018 😂 lmao stupid. I wish i coulda saved them some money in the name of growth. Although, what i did had shown that I was affected by his and my decisions from the past. I didn't appreciate what he's done or said to me in the past. Although, i still made their drinks... i think...? I remember yes, i did make their drinks. This moment i really am not proud of lmao so, it was pretty ass haha. I made their drinks and i remember being done for awhile, and Solo was busy AND KATHY WAS BUSY SO I MIGHT'VE HAD TO BRING THEIR DRINKSS TO THEM. But naw, I was able to hear Kathy's next order i think so i just remember beginning it and then solo came and brought the drinks. What happens later with the Noah story is crazy. from 7:10-7:50 i was going relatively crazy. I was thinking and repeating that moment forever. "shoulda discounted them" "shoulda shown him that i've grown" "should brought their drinks to them" idk. Earlier in the shift i texted Melissa if she could roll my weed because, yesterday with Dhan and Darren, Dhan gave me weed...? LOL Like, i have no form of smoking it but yeah. He just gave it to me, and Melissa agreed to roll my weed. Then i get a snap from Christian that they're both hanging out at the time i text her. I told him that, if they want free boba, come bc we close at 8, and they got excited. They came around 7:50 and were so playful?

They were happy to see me... It was nice to felt needed, or at least produce excitement for somebody. It was nice. I remember somewhat scrambling because solo was making drinks and I wanted to make their drinks and yeah. I made their drinks, said goodbye, etc. Then we closed, nothing much this night, just showered and laud in bed, ate later and watched Japan Sinks (which i don't like lmao, i won't be finishing this series lol). Anyways, yeah. I forgot to mention, the Noah thing. So we closed, i got into my car and called Kevin bc he called me while we were closing. He told me that Noah called him, and told him exactly what i was telling him. Like, "man i felt weird" stuff like that. He was saying that we'll probably reconnect at a listening party in the future at Kevin's. I think i have to organize my feelings with Noah first. Thinking about it now, i'd still feel weird. We'll work on it. I'll work on it. Anyways, yeah. crazy.

Christian, Melissa, Noah, Coworker Kevin, Vrother Kevin, Dhan, Darren, Nicole, all these people enjoy my presence. Even my parents enjoy my presence too. i have to remember this.

today, i will get up, use the restroom, i want to brush my teeth bc i didnt brush last night. I'll come back, make my bed, meditate, then shower, then fold my laundry, Kevin is coming around 12:30 so i'm assuming that we'll probabky eat when he comes. We'll be watching Do The Right Thing and Once Upon A Time In The West, an oldie double feature. It'll be good. Later in the day, i'm going to melissa's so she can roll my weed. I appreciate her. I appreciate kev. Today will be good and i'll further beaing good to myself. Tired of being tired of being tired.

Kiana, Gabbi, Justin, Preet, Bianca, etc. I want you all to know that i'm choosing to grow. I feel like i have potential to achieve greatness in this life. I want to do better for my seed so that my sons or daughters know consent and know how to "read the room" and not make people uncomfortable. I want to teach them and educate them. My nephews and nieces as well. For the future, if i become a teacher, i do want to teach my students as well. I want to become a person of change. I will change, i'll show you all. You can decide to be present for that, if not then...

I wish the best for all of you. I remember a life where i cared for all of you. Thank you for being apart of my journey. I have 0 defenses in my case if i get cancelled, i admit to what i've done. Although, i'm not going to allow that to restrict me from growing and being a better person. If you ask me, why wouldn't cancel culture WANT me to grow and be better? Idk. If i lose more friends to this, I won't be surprised but, yenno what i'll do?

Wake up in the morning, shower, meditate, do my laundry, and eat breakfast. I'm done being a shit-person to others, but it begins with myself. I have to love myself.

Today is day 3 not getting cancelled. I have a dentist appointment sunday. Next week is Julius's bday. Gabbi's too but i won't be celebrating it lol. Then Passdown retreat, then the week after school starts. Then blam. Life keeps going. I will grow.

hm well skam nl is my favorite and their social media game is trash LMAOOO so generally No but i do feel like remakes who DO have such a good presence kind of elevate the show and i think it’s pretty heartwarmin to see some remakes go sm farther than skam with social media and puttin out educational and IN CHARA resources like skames does this so well and i feel like in that way, the team is really really spreadin skam’s spirit via these resources (like joana’s billion bpd awareness ig accounts and lucas rubio’s yt channel)

2. Least favourite clip of the show? Why?

tbh there are definitely some duds but probably one of the clips with sana gettin herself into a hole in s4 just bc some were hard to watch cus cringey or yikes .... idk i cant think of others LMAO

season 1 - tbh even though i really enjoyed this season, it does take a while for it to build up like i rmr at first not being that interested until ep6 maybe ?? which is hard when you’re trying to get your friends to watch but they have to wait until ep6 before shit starts RLLY buildin up and gettin wild

season 2 - hm ig noora chasin after william ??

season 3 - bro NOTHINGGG call me a purist but its such a refined masterpiece like the pacing is good the characterization is so good ugh i deadass cant think of anythin

season 4 - i always felt a little ??? w noora being sana’s bff ig bc from s1-s3 it didn’t Feel like they were that close like even in noora’s pov, sana wasn’t really a part of it that much ?? like eva was more of noora’s bff ?? so i feel like it would have made more sense if maybe sana spoke more with chris or vilde bc sana and vilde eventually seemed to get closer esp with kosegruppa and chris has always been by sana’s side ?? idk that always confused me

5. What is your opinion on the cast’s participation on social media? Do you prefer it when the cast aren’t that involved like the Skam cast, or do you like a lot of content like the Fr cast do?

IJXDWQOIJJ yes .... remakes-wise, people hate skam nl s2’s last half but i enjoyed it for the most part ... i think the pacing was off for the last ep but personally, clip 50 made up for it and is p god tier imo ..... and also don’t think the first half of ep10 is enough to discredit the entire season bc i rlly loved seeing liv’s pov and have sm fave moments from the season 

but skam wise, omg might get a lil controversial w this one IM SORRY !!! im bein honest and its Just my opinion ok 

personally s2 got me more invested than s1 and i don’t think its a super bad season like i didnt really say many problems wrong with it until i got on tumblr wiejioqjoiqjq i was sort of interested in the questions that the noora/william dynamic brought up which is, as expressed in william’s war speech to noora, that nothing is ever black/white which i feel was a huge message and feeds into the ‘you never know what ppl are going through’ theme of the season ... like i like the idea of someone like noora, who can have a black/white mentality (as seen in the first clip of s2 when she tells vilde that they can’t have the tannin company as their sponsor bc they objectify women or smth but misses the context and what it could mean for the bus monetarily bc shes caught up in bein ‘woke’) having to break out of that and see more than one side ... and i think remakes like skam austin expanded on this idea well like when zoya was like ‘must be so nice being right all the time’ which i Do feel like is an important for youth to know today .... bc i think its so easy to get caught up in the idea of being so objectively right and morally superior that people lose sight of the more nuanced characteristics to life ... (omg long ramble BUT)

also LMAOOOOO this one might be more controversial as it pertains to bench scene s4 ok oops again doNT GOTTA AGREE !! ........ but i feel like the scene had a lot of good intentions ... i was def kind of cringing a bit tho bc i understand the subject’s sensitivity and how these topics are hard to talk about but i genuinely feel like they both made Some points and should listen to each other .... like as Hard and as maybe ‘unwoke’ it is to admit, unfortunately you sort of do have to answer the tough questions bc that way we learn from each other .... and i perfectly understand why some ppl wouldn’t want to do this and i certainly am tired abt havin to answer shit abt my sexuality or stupid male questions abt women but if u dont answer them, people do go lookin for answers still and the internet is such a shitty place that its pretty easy (esp with youtube’s algorithm) to lead you to ignorant ppl and perhaps radicalization .... questions help us to better understand our community and sometimes they can have good intentions too but we have to ask and answer them or else people will make up answers (which ive literally seen and its honestly worse to see fake as shit and UNINFORMED answers bc ppl did not want to ask you or ppl of ur identity, esp when they’re already startin from a place of hate .... but i rather have ppl ask me patronizing questions than have them spread false info bc that can do much more harm in the long run) however i DO think that isak should also consider sana’s side and i sort of wish we saw him conceding more bc they both have smth to learn from one another, like sana shouldn’t just be learnin from isak, isak needs to learn from sana too

omg honestly too much to write here tbh ..... but if it says anythin im (very slowly) in the works of a three part skam essay about basically how skam teaches us to be better humans and how to better treat the people we care about diowjqioj essentially the three biggest themes of the show: you never know what someone is going through so always be kind, always communicate with your friends, and no person is ever alone and i feel like these are definitely rlly good messages to live by (also livet er nå BITCH !!!)

omg tbh i could not tell u at all how the skam charas are doing except i hope even is okay thats all im thinkin of ok .... 1. How many pets have you had in your life?

one. I’ve always wanted them but my mom and I have always lived in tiny apartments and had no way to care for a pet so it wasn’t until I was 17 that we adopted a kitten!! his name was merlin and he was the laziest, moodiest lil ball of fluff I’ve ever met. I.. had to give him away a year later because we moved to a place even smaller that wouldn’t allow pets so long story short I’m scarred for life and don’t think I can ever take any more pets without feeling guilty to my bone 

this is merlin btw I love him with all my heart and he now lives in a farm. as far as I know anyway.. :(

2. Do you believe in destiny? Why?

mmm interesting question. weird, metaphysical theories aside, I don’t believe anything is set in stone per se, but I do believe that some things are just... meant to be? in a way? for example, you can’t tell me ryan and shane weren’t meant to be friends and find each other in such an unlikely place as they did. one of my mottos, completely stripped from context because it’s from a rather pretentious tv show, is “the universe is rarely so lazy”. meaning that good things happen for a reason, and that you trailed that path for that to happen. yknow what I’m saying? I can’t really explain this without writing a 10 page essay because that’s just how my gemini ass thinks 

3. If you could chose one person on the great beyond, would you take the chance to talk to them? 

you mean someone who has passed away? oh yeah, I would talk to my grandmother. she was raising me and died when she was 4 and that changed not only my entirely life but our whole extended family dynamic... so many questions.

4. From all your hobbies, which one would you love to make a living of?

oh man, writing. I’ve been dreaming of being a writer ever since I was 9 or something. never panned out but that would certainly be the dream. if I could work with videos, subtitling, tv shows, cinema etc that would also be dope as hell!

5. What’s your favorite color palette to wear?

fkgjfsdgiusfdksd I have no fashion sense whatsoever, idk? I do like to wear dark clothes (because weight..) and reds (because pale).

6. What’s your opinion on queerbaiting?

I don’t have the time for it. for starters, it’s something that usually comes from people with very poor writing skills that can’t come up with plots interesting enough to keep viewers/readers hooked in. that already says something. no offense to anyone who is a fan of shows like these, but when it’s mostly written by white men I just don’t have any high hopes for it. you can ask flavs what my reaction was like when I realized the character I had headcanon’ed as wlw in hannibal was actually a wlw. I couldn’t believe it, because what???? since when does that happen, especially in a show run by a white man??? kjdfghsjgd 

I think this is part of a bigger conversation but my point is, don’t fall for it. I know it’s all part of the fight for representation, asking big names to produce big shows with lgbtq+ characters in it and so on, but for the love of god, watch something else too!!!! let GOT rot and die!!!!!!!!! look up different, smaller, cheaper shows, that’s where you find lgbtq+ content creators!!!!!! there’s so many wlw webseries out there, you wouldn’t believe it. you have a choice. don’t give any more of your time and love and word-of-mouth to shows/movies that clearly have no interest in being more diverse. they don’t deserve you. 

and that’s not to say any of it is on us. quite on the contrary, they’re using us. but aside from calling out their bullshit, we do have a chance to boost lgbtq+ content creators. don’t let them fool you into thinking they’re doing you any favors, or that they’re our last chance so we should be paying attention to what they’re doing/saying. fuck them!!!! you can’t queerbait me because I don’t trust you or give you the chance to do it. and you can shove your very straight, very white shows where the sun doesn’t shine, @ hollywood.  

7. Is there a language you would love to speak?

french and korean, mostly. I can understand a little bit of both, but I really wish I was fluent :( oh, will to live and learn, where art thou...

8. Do you have, like, a dream so wild you think it’s impossible?

kjgnsfdkjhjjs having enough money to support myself and my mother??? I don’t have any big, wild dreams, I think. just.......... living comfortably would be a+  

9. How many AUs of your own life do you have in your head?

oh man. I keep thinking about living somewhere in idk iceland or scotland just like... tending goats or something. that’s the most comfortable version of myself I can think of.

I also like to imagine if I could handle being a film director, because that sounds like fun. maybe a screenwriter? anything creative in films, really. 

there’s also the unattainable dream of having a wife and idk maybe adopting a kid? and we’d just. support each other. and love each other. and that’s just. I. [cries]

I like to think how things would be if I were actually hot and not socially awkward.. I’d be someone completely different, basically lol

oh god, younger me would hate present me D: I had such high hopes for myself, I had lots of dreams lol never in a million years did I think I’d be where I am today...

“jackpot” by block b looks creepy as shit but the context makes it such a clever yet fun video. take into account that these guys were screwed over by the kpop company that created the group, and that the lyrics talk about hitting jackpot in an industry that’s savage to say the least. to me this video is a visual representation of what a dangerous trap entertainment companies are in the kpop industry, and it also ties in with the groups’ story of being made into dolls by a company and then telling them to fuck off in the end lol

I have plenty of good memories, thank god. I think one of my favorites is just hanging out with my friends in 2008-9; one of their older brothers was driving us around town, we were listening to the white stripes at full volume, singing along, all sitting pressed up close together in his shitty car. man, my teenage years would’ve been fantastic if I had stayed there with them!! 

3. Do you play video games? If so, which one’s your favourite?

I DO!!! I mean, not as much as I’d like because a) no money to spare on games/consoles, and b) I suck at basically everything. but I’m obsessed with paladins these days, and I’m also a big fan of LOTRO. I like horror games--mostly the resident evil and silent hill type--and fps. I grew up playing some tomb raider, medal of honor, resident evil... oh, those were the days. 

4. How did you first get into [your fandom of choice]?

with bfu it was that kind of thing where I’d see a meme or two cross my dash and it was always this ridiculous screenshot, or those “that’s it, that’s the show” kinda things with dozens of thousands of notes... until one day I was incredibly anxious, and I needed to watch something or I’d never finish the assignments I had for college. so I just thought “oh hey I should check out that unsolved thing people like so much, it’s buzzfeed so it’s probably good bg noise to work with” lol and it did work, and I did finish my assignments, and that means that I first watched the show barely paying any attention to it because I was busy doing something else. but ryan’s and shane’s voices helped me relax and to this day they still help a lot with my anxiety, to the point that I need to keep coming back every minute or so during episodes because I get distracted just listening to their voices and not absorbing a word lol

5. How did you first get into fandom in general?

uhh.. well, I was a big “pottermaniac” (that’s how I called it) since I was 9, but that was before I realized fandom was a Thing on the internet too. I remember when I was maybe 10 or 11, I entered a chatroom (god, those were wild) just in time to see someone saying in all caps HARRY POTTER IS GREAT AND YOU’RE ALL DUMB FOR NOT SEEING IT or something fkdsjgfdugfsdk and it was this girl using the nickname fawkes. she was older than me, I think that 15 or something, and we exchanged addresses (!!! how am I alive!!!) and were pen pals for a while. but it took me so fucking long to actually find the fandom online that I think my first brush with it was with the arctic monkeys forum I found online in 2008, where I mistakenly said I liked “the muse” and people laughed at me so I never went back to it lol then in 2010 I found out about kpop and that’s when I really dived head-first into fandom life. took me long enough (tbf I was very against the notion of being a “fan” because I was an idiot).

great fucking question. no idea. I guess.. traveling overseas? if we’re talking wild, distant things. but closer to my reality, getting a job that pays me at least the minimum wage disjgdfgkfsdk #fuckinternships

8. What’s your favourite medium for storytelling - movie, book, television, musical, comic, internet video, video game, something else? Why that medium?

ohhhhhhh this is an interesting question. as much as I love writing, and think that’s one of the best things we humans have ever come up with, I do love.. musicals? not necessarily theater--although that’s great and I’d sell my soul to see chicago live--but I love the idea of telling stories through music. I really wish we could bring back the custom of telling stories orally, and through music, and that we could as society agree that collective singing is beautiful and should be reintroduced in our day-to-day lives. sure listening to (1) artist singing is great but hAVE YOU TRIED SINGING ALONG DURING A CONCERT WHERE EVERYONE ELSE IS SINGING TOO? best fucking feeling in the world. 

we had two bands in brazil, in different periods of time, that were so incredibly famous they’re still cornerstones in our music history. one was legião urbana, some folk-ey rock band that had a couple of songs telling these really long stories that I LOVE with all my heart. faroeste caboclo is our bohemian rhapsody, most people my age or older know the lyrics to it. and mamonas assassinas was this comical (?) rock band that sang dumb, fun songs that usually told stories too and that was the best. I miss that kinda thing.

red meat, mainly churrasco. but I also can’t live without chocolate milk AND the whopper. capitalism has me by the stomach.

pitty has been a big part of my life for some 14-odd years now. “be ok” by ingrid michaelson and “starlight” by muse were my anthems when depression hit hard during my teenage years. the white stripes has also been a constant, with gems like “blue orchid” and “a martyr for my love for you” turning into sort of theme songs for certain parts of my life. choi sam helped me through college. and even though they were a huge disappointment to the point that I stopped listening to them altogether, block b gave me a good 4 or 5 years of distraction from life.

Now I know this might sound crazy but let me give you the start to this shit…. He woke me up with breakfast, orange juice, eggs, grits with cheese, bacon, hashbrowns, I mean damn, the nigga could’ve won a grammy off the breakfast alone. He sat on the side of the bed looked me in my eyes and said “I love you Emory, you gone be my wife one day” choked on my orange juice. I smiled so hard. He pulled out a bankroll, counted me out a stack and told me he would get at me later. He had “a meeting”, which was dope boy language for selling drugs. Before I could finish my breakfast I got a text, or at least I thought I did, Stacy took my phone instead of his, (them damn iPhones). At first I wasn’t going to look, but then text messages started coming in quicker than checks on the 1st. I opened the first message and read it to myself, some bitch name Sharde. “Hey Baby, imma see you later at our spot” “Don’t forget the money for the rent” “The baby is starting to kick”. Surprisingly, I didn't get mad I texted back like “Cool bae, but let just meet at 151 for drinks”. That’s the first spot that came to mind seeing as how I met Stacy in the same bar 4yrs ago. A text came back “Duh bae, that’s our spot. Why you trippin?” Before I could respond I grabbed the money he left for me and went to go do some shopping. I mean at least if imma meet the bitch I can be cute before I beat her ass and then his ass too. I made it back to the crib at 8pm started getting dressed, I figured by now Stacy would be walking in, he came in the washroom gave me a kiss and asked, “Where you headed?” I look at him and smiled “To this lil bar; meeting a friend from school” I made sure I deleted every text and handed him his phone back, “Here bae you took my phone by mistake earlier.” I figured by now he had already pre warned the bitch I had his phone, good thing I got her address, them damn iPhones are something else. He pushed me against the wall and I instantly grabbed his dick. Stacy asked if I had time to talk, I looked down and although I wanted that mf worst than my next breathe I simply kissed him instead said “Be up when I get back!”, He yelled out, “Damn Emory, that’s how you’re gonna leave me!?” I grabbed my keys and left out. About 33 mins later to be exact I pulled up in front of a brown stone. I started thinking damn if this bitch wasn’t around maybe we could be happy. Benz parked in the front with red tent I stepped out and buzzed the doorbell. A man answered, “Who is it?”, “I’m sorry I’m looking for Sharde?” he buzzes the door. I’m thinking to myself damn that was easy. I walk up a few stairs and turn the corner to find a handsome dark skin man standing there with his shirt off and muscles on hello. I’m bout ready to risk it all, I said “hey” extending a hand, “I’m looking for Sharde my name is Emory”. “Oh please come in, Sharde isn't here at the moment.” “Oh okay I can come back, it’s fine I’m her husband Xavier.” “Her husband?” “Yeah, I’m sorry I still don't know who you are? I’m Stacy’s girl…” Before I could get all my words out Sharde walks up…  She walked up and spoke and put her hand out for shake. All I could notice was that big ass rock looking like a small Business on her hand. I spoke and shook her hand, Xavier stepped in before I could spit my beef and said  “Bae this my friend Emory, Stacy girl”, that bitch expression changed in 2 minutes as she spoke with a shake, “Hey Emory, nice meeting you”. She went inside and closed the door. I looked at Xavier “oh so we friends now?” “We are if you wanna know what I have to say... meet me at 151 in about a hour”. He walked in and closed the door. As shocked as I was, I was ready to fucking kill Stacy. So yeah I went home doing 90 on the E-Way. I walked inside the house and before I could close the door good Xavier called me telling me he was on the way. I replied so calm. “That's cool... I don't really care to hear it. I'm getting ready to kill Stacy!” he yelled “Wait listen to me, let me explain before you do that please!”, after 2 minutes of him saying hello, I simply said “ok I'm on my way” and hung up.I walked in the bar in saw Xavier sitting, drinking what appeared to be Tequila. I sat next to him and words started to flow. “Look, I asked you to come so I can give you the truth. My wife been with your guy for about 2 years now…” I couldn't believe he knew this shit, before I  could ask, he answered, “no I'm not okay with it but I couldn't give her the one thing she wanted and he could.”I looked at him looking at me, “oh yeah what's that?” “a baby” he said rubbing his face. “Nah, he gave her time and she loved that”. I took my shot and told him thanks for the drink, got up to walk off and he grabbed me, “I just thought you should know that I want revenge, and I want you to help”. I sat back down and said “Yeah I'm listening.” He spoke a plan so amazing I couldn't help but except. “I know you probably thinking I'm taking it to far, but I've been down this road before and I never left. This time I'm leaving and taking everything he got with me. He gave this bitch a baby and couldn't give me a decent nut!”  I woke up the next morning to Stacy eating me like I was a full course meal, and the only thing on my mind was making him hurt like he hurt me. When he finished he went to the shower and right on time cause Xavier told me to come through. I waited for Stacy to leave and I got fully dressed, went to Xavier crib and we started to talk. He asked if could help him get even with his wife before we took down Stacy. Damn right I was down! That man fucked me in that house like it was our own. We got so caught up in it we didn't even hear his wife come home. In the background all I could hear was Jay-Z song cry playing as she opened the door. I never stopped riding as I looked at the tears run down her face. She had to be one of them up tight bitches cause she fell to the ground and watched me until that nigga made me erupt  like a volcano. He got up and went to the shower.  I walked pass that bitch and said “Thanks, I hope Stacy was worth it.” She pulled a gun from her purse and went after her nigga, I ran to the door and before I could close it good I heard two shots. I made it to my car in disbelief. I don't know who took that L but Stacy was finna get his. When I made it home he was nowhere to be found. I started packing up everything. Rule number 1: be smart, that nigga gave me every code to every safe. I had three duffle bags full of money as I made my way to the door. I was tryna leave until I heard Stacy in the dark say, “You thought it was that sweet huh?, he stood and walked towards me.I pulled my gun, he stopped and said “Didn't I give you everything you asked for Emory? Baby it was us that's all I cared about” he kept moving slowly towards me telling me how much he loved me and cared about me.  I started to lower the gun and forgive him, until I pictured a new life living without fear off of his money and I picked my gun back up. He punched me so hard he broke my tooth. I got up off the ground looking for the gun that flew under the table. I tried to run and he kicked me and said only a stupid bitch would leave all this. Maybe yall didnt know before but now you know he beat my ass on a regular. But damn I was in love. Stacy stood over me and I kicked him in his dick and crawled under the table to grab the gun. I turned over, he grabbed my feet. I shot once and he hit the ground. I spat out the blood in my mouth and stood up. He laid still, talking shit like I wasn't in control. I kicked him and said “Turn over before I shoot you in ya dick!” You see this is how we got to this point. He turned over and I shot is ass again. All this hurt and anger, and I stayed. I shot again before I knew it. This bitch was crying. I grabbed the three duffel bags and left. Rule number 2 remain a boss bitch. I left that nigga bleeding and got in my car. Before I could pull off I saw Xavier walking up. I pulled over he got in then kissed me “All I could think about was saving you” he said. WHAT'S BEEF: Jay Electronica’s Album ‘A Written Testimony’ Has Joe Budden & Peter Rosenburg Feeling A Certain Type Of Way

Jay Electronica finally released his debut album, A Written Testimony, and it has ruffled some feathers. More inside…

Jay Electronica made a splash on the Hip Hop scene over a decade ago and he’s just now releasing his debut album…finally.

In 2007, he captured the ears of Hip Hop fans with Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), which featured him rapping over the score for the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. An album was promised but it was never delivered…until now. And he’s causing a scene with a few Hip Hop heads.

After signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation in 2010, the New Orleans native released his debut album, A Written Testimony – with a guest feature from Jay-Z who raps on almost every track - last week. Rapper-turned-content creator Joe Budden’s recent podcast episode was dedicated to criticizing Electronica’s first studio album. You can listen below:

The podcast hosts kept reiterating that the album wasn’t a Jay Electronica album since Hov spits on almost every track. They also didn't like that Hov was the first person you heard on Electronica's debut album.

A fan tweeted Joe had no room to criticize Electronica’s album based off the success of his own rap career:

  Electronica - who shares a daughter with Erykah Badu - got wind of their critique and responded to Joe’s co-host Rory and then Joe popped back:

"I never got absolutely mopped around on my own project either ... @ me, not Rory," Joe tweeted. 

"I never heard your albums bro. May Allah bless your career as a journalist," Electronica responded.

"I took you off yours & it's a Hov mixtape now... Peace be unto you as well King," Joe responded.

Electronica kept with the trolling, posting:

Electronica's album also ruffled the feathers of HOT 97 radio host Peter Rosenberg. A Written Testimony makes a lot of references about race and religion and one lyric caused Rosenberg - who is Jewish - to respond because he feels like the lyric is anti-Semitic. Electronica - who is a devout Muslim - raps:

“And I bet you a Rothschild I get a bang for my dollar/the synagogue of Satan want me to hang by my collar"

  "My feet might fail me, my heart might ail me The synagogues of Satan might accuse or jail me"

Not feeling this bar from Jay Electronica and I know I'm not the only person who felt a way about it .

When the radio host went on the air on Monday, he addressed his Twitter exchange with Electronica:

This exchange didn't sit well with Rosenberg. He decided to take time away from Monday's installment of Ebro in the Morning to address Electronica's "aggressive response."

"It's no person's job from another group to tell another group when they should be offended," Rosenberg said around the clip's three-minute mark. "In the climate that we're in now, I found it dangerous and hurtful just as a Jewish hip-hop head. People wanted to come for me and villainize me for having feelings about my own group. ... This is just my opinion about words that offended me."

He continued "You can only have your group associated with Satan so many times before you're like 'What's going on?'" Rosenberg continued. "And I think I have that right."

Complex delves deeper in the meaning behind the lyric and more:

Electronica purposely makes his lyrics difficult to decipher. Yet, when the Synagogues of Satan are mentioned in biblical texts, it refers to a group of Jewish people who use their religion as a front. These people hide behind Judaism to help them persecute other chosen people.

In 2012, Jewish bank heiress, Kate Rothschild, left her husband to pursue a relationship with Jay Electronica. Electronica was ripped by the British tabloids for his connection with Rothschild. This sensationalized media attack heightened after their relationship ended, with claims that Electronica was violent toward Rothschild.

On A Written Testimony's "Ghost of Soulja Slim," Electronica reference to the Synagogue of Satan is paired with wordplay aimed at his ex-girlfriend.

"I came to bang with the scholars," he raps. "And I bet you a Rothschild I get a bang for my dollar/The synagogue of Satan want me to hang by my collar/But all praise due to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala."

This creates the allusion that Electronica was not attacking the Jewish religion or even multiple Jews. Instead, he was finding a clever way to vent about a personal vendetta he had against a woman who he feels aided in helping the media assassinate his character. Still, Rosenberg feels like this attack created a careless ricochet that hurt other Jewish people.

Interview With DJOnTheTrack

In today’s music landscape, independence is seen as a virtue. Full creative control allows an artist to move with more honesty unto themselves. Trusting the process of growth, as well as a self-awareness of the value an artist brings to the table, are both major components to the way an artist tracks their career, almost like an investment banker. 

San Diego producer DJONTHETRACK has done a tremendous job of calculating this balance. As the producer of many internet hits, such as the era-defining “Float On“ with 03Greedo, DJ’s ascension into the mainstream level of music-making has come with increased visibility and attention; especially from the labels.

AuxGod: Let’s start from the beginning. Where are you from? What was your upbringing like?

DJONTHETRACK: I'm from SAN DIEGO CA, PARADISE HILLS to be exact. Being at the skatepark everyday growing up played a big part on who I am today.. AuxGod: I’m happy you mentioned being at the skatepark. With artist also being skaters and Skaters also being rappers/producers, do you feel the skate community and hip hop community go hand & hand?

DJONTHETRACK: Yes I do. I see lots of Producers/Artist that either use to skate, or still do, Such as Rich The Kid, LilGnar, ATLSMOOK, & etc..

AuxGod: Did you guys grow up with a lot of music being played in the house?

DJONTHETRACK: I Grew up with nothing but music in my house as a kid. My mom always knew what good music was. From when Jay-Z's  "The Blueprint" album dropped, to when Kanye West dropped "College Dropout" she was on ALL of that AuxGod: The OG Rocafella days. Did she purchase those albums for you or you saved up to get them? DJONTHETRACK: She was the one who purchased them. I'd just be in the backseat of her old accord listening like "This shit so hard" She did purchase The Game album "The Documentary" for ME though AuxGod: So you were surrounded by music growing up it sounds like. How did you learn how to make beats? Did someone show you?

DJONTHETRACK- Nobody taught me how to make beats. I spent hours day in & day out trying to figure out how to master the basics of FL studio.

AuxGod: That’s dope you stuck with it. Who was the first person you sold a beat to that affirmed you wanted to do this?

DJONTHETRACK: BAD KARMA. My nigga HOPETON (RIP) Introduced us back in like...2010?. Once we did our first song together, I knew this is something I want to pursue.

AuxGod: How do you usually do business with most the artist you work with? Do you link up in person or send beats over email?

DJONTHETRACK: Its like a split in between both. I do send out beats to artist, but I really enjoy meeting IN PERSON. I like creating the sound & vibe with the Artist.

AuxGod: On a Good week how many beats do you make on average?

DJONTHETRACK: MAN on a good week, i'm running through about...15-20 beats no problem!

AuxGod: Out of all the beats you’ve cooked up, What are some of your personal Favorite beats:

DJONTHETRACK: "Dibiase" by 03greedo hands down. I listen to that song every day.

AuxGod: You and Greedo make a fire ass duo and really started to sizzle right before his incarceration. You remember where you were when you found out he was gonna be turning himself in?

DJONTHETRACK: Yes I agree We do! I was actually getting ready to send him some beats, & got a call from his management letting me know the news. Once He touches back down, We'll definitely get back to work

AuxGod: When you're not listening to your own production, what producers does DJ enjoy listening to?

DJONTHETRACK: I listen to a lot of 808MAFIA, a lot of ZAYTOVEN, a lot of MUSTARD, a lot of Pierre Bourne, & a lot of PLUGGZ shit fasho!!

AuxGod: You and well known producer Mexico Merio seem to have great chemistry. How did you two meet

DJONTHETRACK: Ohh yeah that's my brutha 4L. We met back in 8th grade @ Bell. We use to slap all the East hanks in class & at lunch. Later on down the line, Turns out he's making beats too. So once we inked up & cooked our first collab, it was a wrap after that. Nothing but HITS every time we link up

AuxGod: What are three things producers need in 2019??

DJONTHETRACK: PATIENCE, DEDICATION, & CREATIVITY. I feel like with these 3 things, You can achieve anything you put your mind to

AuxGod: With San Diego being such a diverse place, how do you feel about the music scene?

DJONTHETRACK: I fuck with the music scene out here. We got a lot of people doing their thang out here & there's a bunch of Talent hidden all through the city!.

AuxGod: Who are a few artist you feel should be on people’s radar this year?

DJONTHETRACK: From the city, My nigga YHGPNUT is making noise, also BAD KARMA got some shit coming that's gonna fuck the city up!

AuxGod: Is San Diego where you create best? Would you ever move to another city?

DJONTHETRACK: San Diego is my fav city to cook up in. There's nothing like the comfort of being home. My goal is to move up to LA for a bit when the time comes.

AuxGod: Most People Don't Know:

DJONTHETRACK: I do NOT fuck with SeaFood. "If its from the sea, it aint for me" AHAHA

AuxGod: What can we expect from DJ for the rest of 2019?-

DJONTHETRACK: FULL WORK MODE. I'm using the rest of 2019 to perfect my sound and take it to the next level. Because 2020 Im taking over!.

I’m jus keeping the solid with the ones I came up with and trying new things.

Keem

“I still don’t get why I’m needed for this.” I groaned as I sat with Richè and Sinai in the studio. Sinai had still been working on Moe’s wedding but it hadn’t been having as big as an impact on her. I don’t know what happened but she was back to her old ways, and a nigga like me was not complaining.

  “Because you’re the only one that knows how to work all of this stuff babe.” Sinai replied walking over to me and sitting down on my lap.

  “Your also his best friend and you know him better than us. So you’ll be able to tell me whether he’ll like the song or not!” Richè chimed in from where she was inside the booth. I sucked my teeth pretending to wave them both off.

  “Yeah yeah whatever, just play the beat back and let me hear what you got.” I responded. She nodded and Sinai climbed off my lap to loop the track.The beat to I’m So Into You started to play and I nodded my head at the choice. That was one of Marcus’ favorite songs.

  Richè began to sing and my jaw dropped for so long Sinai had to pop it back into place. Once Richè finished she came out the booth and looked between Sinai and I for our reactions.

  “I didn’t know you could sing ma, that was really dope! I think he’ll love it. Actually I know he will.” I said genuinely impressed. Sinai grinned and nodded her head agreeing with me. It was ture Richè had taken one of Marcus’ favorite songs and made it about them which was cool as fuck.

  “Alright well Keem I just need you to burn it and do whatever you can and then give it to me. I  have to go though, I need to pick Nyelle up from school.” Richè said hopping out the booth and giving both Sinai and I a hug before exiting the studio. It was kind of sus the way she left so quickly but I decided to brush it off as Richè being Richè.

  “So Keem...I need to talk to you about something.” Sinai said after Richè had left. I licked over my lips and chuckled, now it made sense why Richè ha dipped out so fast. Clearly Sinai had already told her what she had to tell me. “Don’t laugh, it’s serious.”

  “Aigh I’m listening.” I said biting on my upper lip as I waited for her to speak on whatever it was she had to talk to me about.

  “So I know these past couple of weeks haven’t been easy. Just because Moe coming back into my life and everything. But I wanted to let you know I appreciate you and I’m truly grateful for everything.” She said smiling and leaning in to peck my lips gently. I kissed her back but in all honesty I was getting tired of hearing about this nigga. “And so things have gotten a lot better and I’ve decided to finally tell you why.” She paused to look at me to peep my reaction. I kept my face blank and stared straight ahead preparing myself for what she was about to say.

  “Babe you look so serious.” She said giggling and cupping my face in her hands.

  “Come on and tell me what you gotta tell me Sinai.” I replied not really in much of a joking mood.I had a feeling that whatever it was she was about to tell me wasn’t something I wanted to hear.

  “Well okay then...we’ve been going to therapy Moe and I. To work through some issues and get some closure, and it’s really been helping.” My face screwed up almost immediately once I heard her say that and I sat up causing her to fall out of my lap and next to me on the couch.

  “So you been going to therapy with this nigga?!” I asked standing up and squinting at her trying to make sure I heard her correctly. She looked up at me wide-eyed and nodded her head silently.

  “I don’t want you to be mad Keemy. It’s not what it sounds like and it-”

  “Ion wanna hear that shit Sinai. You basically been going to couples therapy with your ex nigga.” I said shaking my head at her. “Now if I start going to therapy with Rose that’s cool?” I asked. I knew that was a low blow but I couldn’t help it, a nigga was hurt.

  “You told me she was just a one night stand Hakeem. This is different, I spent years with him, I loved him. It’s not the same, don’t be an asshole.” She argued looking at me with hurt in her eyes.

  “Why are you just now telling me this Sinai? Matter of fact let me tell you why because you knew it was wrong. You knew I wouldn’t like it, so you went behind my back to do it. Ion like sneaks shorty.” I said grabbing my jacket from the chair and pulling it on. “You of all people should know that.”

  “Keem where are you going?” She asked me standing up and walking towards me.

  “To therapy.” I replied chuckling darkly once more before exiting the studio and feeling the cold air hit me. I turned the corner towards where I had parked and was immediately met with a jab to my lower stomach. I had been caught off guard and couldn’t see who it was or how many people were around.

  I fell to the ground quickly and was immediately met with a pair of boots kicking me in the face. I threw my hands up attempting to block all hits but they were coming too fast and there were too many people jumping me.

  “Let Marcus know we’re taking over.” I heard someone say before I heard car door slams and tires peel away.

  “Keem?” I heard Sinai call out before hearing her gasp. I closed my eyes feeling the pain wash over my body and then everything went black.

Marcus

   “Man FUCK MY BIRTHDAY!” I yelled to nobody in particular. Keem had been jumped by some unknown niggas and was lying on the store couch unconscious and everyone was trying to tell me to calm down because it was my birthday.

  “Marcus chill out fam we’re gonna find whoever did this.” Caiden said shaking his head in anger. I glared at him studying his movements and posture, all the things Quis had said earlier this week running through my mind.

  “You don’t know nothing about this right?” I asked him raising my eyebrows in suspicion. He looked at me as if he couldn’t believe I had even asked him that question.

  “Nigga do you hear yourself? Of course I don’t.” He replied sounding a bit hurt that I had even accused him. Quis rolled his eyes and shook his head. I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples, I couldn’t deal with this right now. This wasn’t supposed to be how my day went.

  I had gotten a call from Sinai freaking out and just erratic while I was in the middle of dropping Zora off with Nicole, Quis and I rush over to where she’s at and find Keem slumped in the middle of an alley way. I tried to ask Sinai what happened but she was so busy crying and screaming I couldn’t get an answer out of her until we got back to the shop.

  Before I could respond to Caiden Richè burst into the shop with a cake in one hand and shopping bags in the other. “Sorry I was getting all your things together when Sinai texted me.” She said gesturing to her full hands.

  “Aigh Sinai can you tell us what happened now?” I asked turning to Sinai.

  “Basically we got into an argument. I ran after him only to find him laying in the alley and a car was speeding away. I-I I didn’t know what to do, so thats when I called you.” She sobbed before placing her hands in her face.

  “Relax ma, you did the right thing. We’re gonna find who did this.” Caiden said shaking his head.

  “Man shut up!” Quis yelled out his face covered in disgust.

  “Nigga suck my dick. I’m not about to do this shit with you, not right now. If Keem was really your bro you wouldn’t be trying to beef with me right now either.” Caiden shot back, his voice getting louder.

  “MAN ENOUGH. I’m sick of yall and this dumb ass beef shit.” I yelled causing everyone in the room to jump.

  “How the fuck can a nigga be unconscious with yall being rowdy and loud as fuck?” Keem grumbled sitting up slowly and grabbing his head with his hands. I turned in disbelief and looked around the room to find that everyone had the same look on their faces.

  “Yo you good?” I asked stepping towards him before taking a step back, giving him some space.

  “Babe!” Sinai yelled out running over to Keem’s side. He held his hand out stopping her almost immediately and she stopped dead in her tracks looking at him in disbelief.

  “Nah shorty we aint cool.” He said shaking his head slowly and standing up slowly. I could tell he was in pain but it wasn’t enough to make him forget whatever it was him and Sinai had went through.

  “Keem are you serious?” She asked looking at us all embarrassed before stepping closer to Keem. “After everything that just happened you’re still mad at me?!”

  “I’m serious Sinai, just go on home. Ion feel like dealing with you and your bullshit right now.” He replied angrily, glaring at her before sitting back down. The whole situation right now was giving me flashbacks to when Richè and I were broken up and she had shown up at my job and I dubbed her.

  “Bro…” I said trying to let him know he was fucking up. Normally I minded my business but I wasn’t sure if he was sure what exactly he was doing.

  “Stay out of it, you don’t know what’s going on.” He replied shaking his head at me. Sinai looked at me and I shrugged. He was my brother and I had to respect his wishes.

  “Well I’ll go then...Happy Birthday by the way Marcus.” Sinai said sadly before turning to leave. Richè sighed and placed my things down before walking over to me, tip toeing to give me a sweet kiss.

  “I’ll stop by later babe.” She whispered to me before kissing me once more and following Sinai out of the shop.
