Quand je vois l'art se détruire

Il y a deux ans, j'ai découvert l'album "Sybilline" du chanteur MC Salo, un membre du groupe Stupeflip.

J'avais déjà aperçu au loin ses sons, et du peu que j'en avais entendu à l'époque... C'était IGNOBLE.

Un album qui ressemble à rien

Que ce soit le visuel, avec une couverture d'album qui donne presque envie de vomir...

Ou les titres de musiques qui sont incohérents les uns avec les autres, c'est pas très beau à voir....

Mais, j'me suis laissé attirer par un son... Puis un autre, je les découvrais extrêmement lentement pour réussir à les digérer et j'ai pris des mois avant d'écouter l'album en entier.

Tout ça, pour m'habituer à ce genre de musique qui m'était complètement inconnu :

- Des refrains désordonnés et imprévisible.

- Des boucles qui semblent sonner faux.

- Des paroles énigmatiques, des jeux de mots, des mots à double sens parfois choquant.

Où est le sens là-dedans ?

Plus j'écoutais ces musiques :

- Dodécacophonique

- La forme parfaite

- Les brebis en babibel

- Dans une brillante atmosphère ...

Et plus j'ai commencé à les apprécier... Jusqu'à les adorer !

Je les écoutais toujours en boucle et à chaque écoute, je comprenais une nouvelle phrase.

J'ai commencé à me dire... "Mais c'est quoi ce bordel ? C'est comme un chaos ordonné !".

"Comment on peut réussir à faire quelque chose de si profond et intéressant dans quelque chose qui paraît si brutale et déconstruit ?"

C'est là que j'ai commencé à me dire...

C'est une forme d'art !

Déjà, MC Salo a démoli l'image que je me faisais des "bonnes musiques", il a élargi mon champ de vision et m'a fait découvrir et accepter un autre type de musique.

J'ai réalisé qu'une musique peut avoir autant de valeur qu'un hit même si elle semble aller complètement à l'opposé d'une décennie d'évolution musicale.

Je presse le pas

Je pourrais déblatérer pendant des heures sur MC Salo et chacun de ses sons, surtout si on compte ceux en dehors de son album ! (Comme un arc en ciel, Miss Wistiti, Du coup, Vip, Sheetah Cittadini, etc...)

Le titre de l'album porte bien son nom et m'a appris un nouveau mot : Sybilline.

Définition : Quelque chose d'enigmatique, difficile à cerner.

Honnêtement, je trouve ça tellement inspirant d'oser faire des musiques qui sonnent si "horrible" pour quelqu'un qui n'est pas habitué à écouter ce genre de son "expérimental" (ou qui n'est pas prêt pour l'ère du Stup' 🤫).

C'est artistique, car ses créations te font réfléchir et te poser un tas de questions pour essayer de comprendre ses musiques.

C'est authentique, car je sens clairement que MC Salo créé des musiques à sa façon sans soucier des standards (Quelle force ?!)

Tout ça m'a fait devenir...

Dingomégalo ! Et inspiré

C'est clairement la démarche artistique qui m'a le plus touché de ma vie d'adulte.

Alors, après avoir été le meilleur auditeur sur Deezer avec 110 heures d'écoutes en 2023 (pas difficile, vu que peu de taré écoute ses sons)

J'ai eu envie de créer mon propre univers qui reflète ma personnalité à travers un jeu d'aventure (que je crée pour PC) qui porte le nom de : Bilysine

Pour ne pas perdre de temps

À mon tour, je veux aussi faire découvrir une histoire, faire réfléchir et élargir les visions pour au final inspirer mon prochain ! 🙏
