Hi again...... How are you? I love reading your answers and your blog.....Make me want to re-read the book TGCF (again) and re-watch CQL (again)....đ
If you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Word of Honor? And your top 5 favorite moments from the drama? Sorry if you've answered this question before....Thanks....
HI MY BELOVED yes please keep asking me things i love coming up with answers!!!
ngl iâve not watched WOH/SHL in a while, iâve been planning to rewatch soon but iâll do my best here!! letâs see how long this post gets :^)
top 5 favourite characters:
1. zhou zishu. i am so weak for zhang zhehan and his pretty face and his glorious side profile and all the little details that he put into this character. his slow smiles of wonderment as heâs falling in love. god. iâll admit, it took me a while to like him as much as i liked wen kexing, but ultimately zzs is THE backbone of the show, itâs his story of finding love, regaining the desire to live, and finding meaning in having someone that you want to spend your life with. after reading qi ye i also appreciate zzsâs backstory more and iâm rooting for him!!! to find love and be free from the world of politics and corruption!!!
2. wen kexing. MY BOY HE WAS MY FAVE THE MOMENT HE STEPPED OUT ON SCREEN. ok ngl rewatching is kinda hard bc i keep noticing all the ways gong jun is a less experienced actor, but god when i first saw him. i thought he was SO beautiful it was such a perfect casting. i love his stupid pretentious flirting and his corny attitude and his fake fake smiles that only barely hide his feelings. the way he simply does not process emotions. what a ridiculous man. i want 20 of him
3. ye baiyi YOOOOOOO INSTANT CLASSIC. BEST CHARACTER EVER WRITTEN FOR TELEVISION. seriously though i am obsessed with this horrible little man??? the important thing to understand, ye baiyi in the novel is an 80 year old man stuck in a 20 year old body. thatâs funny on its own, but ye baiyi in the show is a 20 year old guy who has lived for 80 years. imaging being gay and in your twenties forever. fuck. i too would be petty, exhausted, constantly pissed, and constantly roasting the shit out of baby gays. heâs just so funny oh my god. what a legend
4. gu xiang. my girlbossssssss i am very partial to the colour purple and so she gets points for that. also i love her outfits. i love that zhou ye added so much more dimension to ah xiang in her portrayal. gu xiang is someone who grew up around trauma and violence, yet she chooses to be good and kind and optimistic in her own way. i love the sibling/master dynamic with wkx, her relationships with the other members of ghost valley, her entire romance with cao weining. god that romanceâthe awful vulnerability of that scene when he saw her kill the beggar (who turned out to be an assassin). the fear of showing someone what you had to become to survive. youâre not proud of it, but youâre not the least bit ashamed, and yet itâs terrifying that they could reject you for it. god. god. god. they. her. ahuggh
5. gao xiaolian. maybe a surprising one but this girl just stuck in my head so much. this show really did so well with its women??? gao xiaolian initially exemplifies a sort of âidealâ weak, pure, feminine stereotype, a first in contrast to the many dangerous and colourful women of ghost valley and the scorpions. and yet her strength stands out immediately â her care for her father, her sense of duty, her no-nonsense approach to things. sheâs remarkably clearheaded, and i love that she chose mercy over revenge in the end; itâs not necessarily what the show agrees is right, but because itâs her stance. and sheâs sticking to it.
honorarable mentions: shen shen, xieâer, chengling, jby and wu xi because iâm BIASED, also helian yi deserved better <3
top 3 scenes:
1. wenzhou saying each otherâs names three times â will anything ever match this moment. i still get chills thinking about that scene holy shit. i watch it over and over it haunts my dreams how could they even come up with this scene let alone film it and show it to the world. something shl drives home is the simplicity of real happiness (âonly when i met you did i discover what a simple thing it is to be happyâ screaming crying choking) and this scene says it all. âto be able to sit here, in the daylight. have someone call my name like that. that would be good.â and zzhâs line delivery. drives me nuts
2. the confrontation with ye baiyi. another iconic scene for the ages. the way they had the exact same plan because theyâre zhiji. the way wen kexing runs because heâs feeling too much and heâs scared. this scene is zhou zishu grabbing him by the shoulders and sayingâit doesnât matter to me. it doesnât matter. i knew all along and i loved you anyway. i love you and i am with you; your fate will be my fate now. my favourite thing about the scene has to be after the confrontation, when the tension is gone. and they go right back to bickering and teasing each other. zhou zishus exasperated âwhat do you think i was gonna doâ. the bitching and complaining. yeah iâd die with u. but iâm gonna remind u that youâre a lotta work. chefs kiss perfection
3. gu xiang going apeshit after cao weinings death. zhou yeâs florence pugh Acting moment. god. so good. holy shit. u simply donât get that in historical dramas especially from female characters. jesus fucking christ holy shit. i was sobbing. the grief and shock and rage and outrage; like, she loved cao weining and cao weining was such a good boy, but it just boils down to. how could they do that??? how could they just do that???? they just came in and destroyed something that was good, that was their plan all along and thatâs it and his life is just over and now thereâs just nothing???? and gu xiang just rages and rages and itâs about revenge but itâs barely even about that, she doesnât even get to make the murderer pay, itâs just lashing out against the absolute senseless violence that just happened here. catharsis, my literature teacher might say. oh god i am tearing up
honourable mention: that scene where wen kexing goes apeshit and monologues over someoneâs grave. i cannot for the life of me remember when that happened but i remember watching that when the episodes were coming out and being THRILLED bc that kind of scene has to be a theatre kidâs DREAM to perform. anyway i need to rewatch shl
#shl#word of honor#woh#zhou zishu#wen kexing#wenzhou#ye baiyi#gu xiang#gao xiaolian#shl meta#honest answer is i stan jing beiyuan over everyone here but heâs not actually a character in this djdhshdmdn#god i could write more about ah xiangs death though#itâs so fucking. augh. aggrhgh#wenzhou also. drives me nuts. !!!! insane iâm insane#i liked xieer a lot while watching but i got kind of pissed at his storyline so he didnât make the cut#chengling is cute but heâs like. a less interesting jin ling to me??#hrngh my memory of shl is patchy at this point so. unfortunately canât pull details out my ass like i can with other posts lol#but aughhhh the restaurant scene. itâs like looking into the sun itâs too much to bear#ask

Adding on to that lingerie post, how would romanced companions react to sole surprising them in lingerie? (so in this case sole is wearing the lingerie)ďżź.
Cait:
"All this for me? Get your pretty arse over here.."
â˘Don't. She will rip it to pieces and not even bat an eye. She just wants to screw you silly.
Curie:
"I..I have never seen something so..so..um.. attirant."
â˘She is at a lost for words in the most magnanimous fashion.
â˘She doesn't really know how to express the strange stirring sensation she feels, so she instead settles for expressing her pleasure verbally.
Danse:
"Mmh, well don't you look provocative? Outstanding.."
â˘Though he'd internally berate himself for his choice of words, the Paladin would be quick to advance your way and distract you.
â˘Danse is surprisingly..touchy. Before anything gets removed, he'll delicately trace the lines of your little outfit- committing it to memory as he passionately kisses you, holding you in his embrace all the while.
Deacon:
"Holy shit.."
â˘Expect the unexpected, right? We'll Deacon has coined that term plenty of times and yet, was not prepared.
â˘He all but tackles you to the bed shortly thereafter.
Gage:
"I've said it plenty times now, but fuck..you're a real stunner, boss."
â˘Have I ever mentioned that Gage can be handsy? Well he is. Similar to Danse, he would take the time out to savor the way you look. However unlike the Paladin, he would make no bones about sinking his fingertips into the swell of your ass- pulling you into his lap and start grinding against you.
Hancock:
"Damn, I've got to be the luckiest ghoul in all of the commonwealth."
â˘The look on his face is priceless. Usually Hancock is calm, collected and composed- especially in the face of anything "sinful". However you were an exception. Being faced with your visage, Hancock felt his heart skip a few beats and his knees go weak.
â˘Sure fire way make him happy as a lark.
Macready:
"Oh fu-..fudge.."
â˘Absolutely astonished.
â˘He might need to pick his jaw up from the floor first, but he enthusiastically hurries to engage you- kissing and even going to remove the clothing before he mutters out a quick "hot.." or something stupid like that.
â˘Nonetheless, he appreciates it.
Maxson:
"It's certainly a good thing I've wrapped up all of tonight's briefings..you look amazing."
â˘He nearly closed the metal door leading to his quarters on his hand. Those cute blue eyes growing as wide as saucers once the whole image sinks in.
â˘Doesn't miss a beat afterwards, trotting his way to you with a proud smirk and a blush face.
â˘is not above asking to take your picture before the nights events commence.
Nick:
"Goodness, you look stunning.."
â˘Considering the fact he's looking at you in a sexed up outfit, he is incredibly..I suppose respectful is a good way to put it? Basically his gaze is the same way he would look at you as if you were wearing some nice fancy attire.
â˘Make no mistake, the motive isn't lost on him. As soon as he is satisfied with complimenting you, he will gracefully descend to your side and catch your lips in a sweet kiss.
Piper:
"Oh my god, where did you even find that? Actually- don't answer that, just c'mere."
â˘Yes, of course she is curious. It's not likely you can just happen upon such things unless it's specifically made..which makes piper that much happier when she realizes.
â˘Had she no more self control, she might've taken a picture of you. Maybe even make you do a few cute poses...oh yeah.
Preston:
"Damn babe, what did I do to deserve all of this?"
â˘Despite the fact he will be having an internal meltdown right about now, Preston makes no qualms about basking in the glorious sight you've so graciously gifted him.
â˘He can't help but smile with a particular mirthfulness as he finally joins you in bed, taking extra special care as not to damage the delicate fabrics of your new outfit so the two of you can enjoy it once more at a later date.
X6-88:
"......"
â˘Don't his silence for indifference, quite the contrary. The second you least expect it, X6 briefly throws reservations to the wind and pounces upon you like some feral predator.
â˘Downside of this otherwise sexy ravaging is that he has no remorse on the lingerie and most likely will obliterate it under the force of which he removes it from you.

Riverdale S5 E13 (Coyote Ugly)- 5 Things I loved/ 3 Things to consider
I loved a LOT of things about this episode, so I might have to cheat on my loved-it count. Indulge me, please.Â
Things I loved
1. I loved that Tabitha totally belongs and fits in with these crazy OG Riverdale people. Tabitha asks Betty, the crazy girl, to not âdo anything crazy,â while doing crazy things with Betty, herself.  Why Tabitha does this, we donât know yet, but she absolutely belongs with these people. For fancy-school-educated beautiful Tabitha, with her neat puff sleeves and delicate frame, to go all in with Betty Cooper, fake FBI agent, trying to hunt down a serial killer is insanity. To agree to open up her business premises and offer up her own body as bait for this known serial killer is insanity. To be aware that Betty has caught someone who was acting violent, but to go alone, and also unarmed and apparently without having told anyone, is insanity. Tabitha is very, very interesting. Oh and she drives the most amazing car.
2. âReggie, Youâre A Genius!!â and Veronica is not being even a little bit sarcastic. Reggie Mantleâs air punches every time either he or Veronica close a sale really just cheered me up no end. Heâs just so exuberant and physical. Heâs already stated that he is good with numbers and he has a lot of ideas and heâs finally, at Pearls & Posh, getting a chance to let those parts of himself bloom. I loved the beautiful jewel tones that Reggie and Veronica wear throughout the episode, and the way they become ever more color coordinated. I just love the two of them teaming up and dismantling Hiramâs scam one brick at a time.
3. All the Cheryl things, basically, I loved them.Â
-âCompulsion Thy Name is Kevin of Finlandâ is a line that had me hooting.  And the fact that Kevin, in the right clothes, totally has the body and jawline to be a Tom of Finland illustration is just icing on the cake. Cheryl has been keeping a very close eye on Kevin his whole life, honestly, like a dangerous sort of fairy godmother. Cheryl in a checked version of her little red riding hood outfit walking out of the misty blue forest! What a beautiful shot.Â
- I did not love Tabitha having to say, âHot Ladies, dancing on the bar, fully clothed, of course,â but I *did* love Fangâs groaning in response, just so put upon. I did this simultaneously with the character, so I appreciated that. I did love the glorious amount of cleavage that Cheryl the minister and cheerleading coach insists on putting on display while IN a high school. Her sartorial choices felt like a vengeful commentary on the mores of American television. I would much prefer to see tits on my TV than blood & violence, so the fact that an entire severed leg, a ghost of Christmas past with bullet wounds, and a man getting his face smashed in by a furious fit young man armed with brass knuckles can be shown in full but hot ladies dancing on a bar must be fully clothed irritated me.Â
So yes - I said a whole bunch of words to fancy up the statement that I loved seeing Cherylâs cleavage.
Sidebar: Also why does it gotta be only ladies? I think Fangs was fishing for an invitation.
- âI caught them (Moose & Fangs) having wine & cheeseâ - âEw that is diabolical.â OK so when youâre in that mindset where you want to âwin the break up but youâve lost, this sort of hyperbolic reaction is exactly what you want from your female friends, and Cheryl doubles down with, âYou did nothing wrong.â  Why has Kevin never declared best friendship with Cheryl?Â
4. I loved that the show gives me permission to do what Iâve been doing already, which is that I absolutely despise Uncle Fucking Frank. That asshole, who claims to understand battle trauma and love dogs, brings home a traumatized dog which deserves to have stable people look after it and be aware of its issues, and doesnât tell his housemates who arenât even getting basic mental healthcare, one of which is a nephew he is mooching from for room & board, about the dogâs potential problems. Absolute failure garbage human, and I am elated to have this affirmed. Everything Frank does makes Archie so much worse, and Archie does not trust Frank fully either. Loved this too. Archie lies to Uncle Fucking Frank about âBingo.â He was a dog, he says, and then says that Eric does not like to talk about the dog so Frank wonât go mentioning him to Eric.
5. I loved the musical numbers, each for a different reason.
- Coyote Ugly Bar Top Dance: These terrifying, formerly terrorized children of Riverdale thrill me and break my heart. Everyone just tosses themselves at danger.  Cheryl, Veronica, and Betty are all women whoâve had the experience of being hunted, terrorized, gaslit, stalked, sexually assaulted, having to fight for their lives while under attack from a much bigger assailant, etc - just *all* the bad things, really - but with the promise of a good time (lyrics actually say: How Can I Resist?) they will make themselves live bait for a serial killer.Â
- Everything Is All Right from Jesus Christ Superstar. I love Kevinâs singing, always. I also adored Penelope Blossom hating the musical interlude, sheâs great. This song is also meant to be ironic, in the show, from my memory, because in context things are NOT all right. Mary Magdalene was wrong. Theyâre showing Kevin and Fangs making up, theyâre showing Veronica and Reggie making a sale, Jughead was not in this episode at all, so this was quite arresting from a show perspective. The song is disquieting, with minor key elements, and so itâs a little uneasy, you know? Things are not all right, at all.Â
3 Things to Consider
a) âThis award is a painful reminder of all that I havenât accomplished.â Kevin breaks my heart but not in a campy tingly way. The feeling that Iâm supposed to be somewhere better than this, doing something more than this - itâs so painful and real. Iâm you, Kevin. âThis canât be my life, it just canât be.â This seems to be the theme of the post time-jump Riverdale, but it feels more visceral because of whatâs happening in the real world on the date of airing (Fall of 2021).
b) Bingo being a person, not a dog, puts an entirely different and devastating cast over the dream-dialogue between Eric and Archie. According to Archieâs subconscious, Eric is basically saying, âLeave the other man for dead, and save me and only me.â In the football field dream, Eric was transformed into Jughead, who just needed a little help, and had to be fireman-carried to touchdown. Eric insisting that he be prioritized over the unfortunate Bingo goes some ways to explaining the bond between Eric and Archie as well.Â
c) Archie Andrews is terrifying, and this adult Archie is fascinating and arresting to me. âI donât want this scumbag arrested! I want him hurtâ is the most honest thing Archie has ever said on the show. And when he says, âIâm trying to save this town, but itâs so corrupt, broken, full of awful, despicable people. I think thereâs nothing worth saving here,â Archie is very reminiscent of the Dark Hood/ Hal Cooper, actually. Archie scares the worthless Uncle Fucking Frank so much that U.F. Frank canât even say, âNobody asked you to save the world, Archie, just save yourself.â
#riverdale s5 opinion#riverdale positivity#It's interesting to experience Riverdale's actual episodes a month later than the states-side viewers#all the stuff that comes up on tumblr is so entertaining but disjointed like reading telegrams sent via bottle all out of order#because I'm in a lighthouse in the middle of the sea#reggie Mantle#cheryl Blossom#Tabitha Tate

We're three days from the Loki finale and Iâm back to spout more meta and theories about episodes 5 & 6! Itâs a long one (again.)
I really enjoyed episode five. People have complained that they felt it didn't do much to move the show forward, but one of the things I've loved most about this show is the time it takes to sit with the characters and learn about their backstory, their feelings. (I'm always a little bugged when critics say that an episode hasn't done enough to move the plot forward, because without adequate character development, why should I care about the plot?) I thought the pacing of it was really well balanced.
âŚ.and I have never been so nervous for a finale in my entire life. Thereâs a lot of reasons.
The first is just the fact that Iâve been waiting for this show for a whole year, and the anticipation and excitement of it literally helped get me through the pandemic--so when those final end credits roll Iâm going to be a whole mess no matter what happens. (I really hope the rumors floating around about season two are accurate) I also just feel like itâs somewhat inevitable that this is our final farewell to Tomâs Loki, and likeâIâll never be ready, but especially right now, amidst all the rampant controversy around this show, Iâm just not ready to deal with that. I have a *small* modicum of hope that this won't be the case, but it feels unlikely. Anyway, guess Iâll die.
I really want this show to stick the landing, so to say. I loved the last episode, but a lot of the response has been that it felt like a lull in the plot. I want this show to end in a satisfying bang so it can get the credit it deserves.
Also Iâm a whole hypocrite eating my words from last weekâIâm fully on-board with Loki/Sylvie now (not that I was ever really against it)--Iâm not sure why Iâm surprised. Theyâre so adorable and wholesome, and Iâm in love with seeing Loki in love. Itâs so precious. (Just as a PSA, if youâre not into them thatâs chill, and youâre allowed to dislike a ship without trying to justify your opinion by labeling shippers as morally problematic. Selfcest isnât a real thing, therefore there isnât a moral high ground to stand on here. Okay? Okay.) Wherever it ultimately leads, their relationship is still a really sweet exploration of them both growing and learning how to love themselves and trust others. Also, them cuddling under a tablecloth is the cutest shit Iâve ever seen with my two eyes.
MY THEORIES:
I love Sylvie so much, SO MUCH â and she is 100% going to stab Loki in the back by the end of the next episode. I donât think the betrayal is going to stick, and by the end theyâll both be on the same page again, but the conversations on trust have been way too one-sided for my comfort. If nothing else she's going to seriously consider it. Hereâs one way I can see that going. Spoiler alert: it hurts.
Sylvie betrays Loki at one pointâand we see Lokiâs growth and arc come full circle as, even after being betrayed by the person he hinged his entire development around, he still believes in doing the right thing, in saving her regardless. It ends in a heart-wrenching self-sacrifice of some kind, and his actions serve as the catalyst for her full development as well. We keep seeing different versions of Loki die for their âglorious purposeâ, just like how Classic Loki shouts the phrase as he was consumed by Aloith (RIP King, I love you).
Loki has already called Sylvie his glorious purpose (or inferred it). Thereâs been backlash around him saying that, but the way I see it, itâs less âIâm obsessed with this girl sheâs my purpose nowâ and more âI believe that sheâs the best version of us and Iâm going to make it my purpose to help her succeed and be what the rest of us arenâtâ. Thatâs why seeing all the other variant Lokiâs at their worst in the Loki clubhouse (? what do I call this lol) only fuels him more to find her. I think about what Mobius told him: âYou exist to cause pain and suffering and death, all so others can achieve the best versions of themselvesâ. I donât think Loki truly believes he can be the best version of Loki â I think he saw Sylvie and thought, "it's her". Heâs decided heâs going to help her achieve the best version of herself, but he'll do it giving her love and trust and devotion, rather than through betrayal, pain and suffering. Heâs re-writing his pre-determined role, in his own small way. Iâm so proud of him.
So whoâs behind it all and whatâs truly going on here? (This isnât really one theory, more like a string of possibilities and I donât really know how theyâd fit together.)
I still think itâs another version of Loki. And if it is, I canât help but appreciate the connections between his position dictating the end of time in the show in relation to Lokiâs role in the Norse myths, where heâs the catalyst for the destruction of all things. It feels relevant, considering the whole idea that âthe end of time hasnât been written yetâ has come up twice now. That would be a fascinating tie-in to the mythology. (AlsoâAlioth looks like a giant dog. And Fenrirâs role in Ragnarok was devouring the worldâI realize this is a reach but am I the only person seeing this connection?) The thing I really canât predict is the motivation. What would cause a Loki to want to prevent Lokiâs from changing? Was there something that happened in the sacred timeline this Loki is trying to preserve? (I also like the idea of us maybe seeing another version of Sylvie behind it all, but Iâm just going to leave that rabbit hole alone. )
But hereâs the theory I canât stop thinking about. Thereâs a theory floating around tik tok (by user twelvepercentcredit) saying the âcastleâ we see beyond Alioth looks like a place called the House of Ideas, something that appeared in a (discontinued?) Loki comic. Hereâs the wiki page on it. Just looking at the imagery of this compared to the location weâre seeing in the trailers, itâs too similar to be a coincidence. The huge bookshelves, the towering ceilings.
Hereâs a description from the wiki:
âThe House of Ideas is also home to a library which archives the exploits of every hero who has ever existed in the form of books, written unconsciously by the collective minds of their believers. This collection is curated by Now and Then, two of the children of Eternity. Now and Then routinely seek out heroes to bring into the House of Ideas to bargain with them and give their collections more pages, therefore more time for adventures and exploits. â
And later on the page on how Loki ties in:
âHeeding the desire in Loki's heart to do more with his life, Now and Then approached Loki and brought him to the House of Ideas,[5] where they struck up with him the deal to give more pages to his collection of exploits, rewriting the Books of Loki with a hero's stories in exchange for an eventual hero's death.â
Are they gonna play with the exact happenings of this? I don't know, but it sounds pretty cool!
It would be gutsy to go this route with the show given how meta it is, but I love the idea of it. Would they put characters that embody the abstract ideas of âEternityâ âNow & Thenâ into the show in the last episode? Iâm not sure. Something I could see as a possibility though is an alternate version of Loki having overthrown whoever was previously guarding the timeline, and Loki and Sylvie will have to take them down in turn, thus âreleasingâ the multiverse to its default, chaotic state.
What if our Lokiâs ultimate destiny, ultimate Glorious Purpose, is to release the timelines--restoring all the variants back to their original timelines--and remain in this place for eternity, guarding the timeline and ensuring the multiverse is allowed to exist in its natural state? It seems a pretty fitting role for the God of Chaos. It would also explain why whoeverâs behind the TVA would be so desperate to eliminate all variant Loki, if that was his ultimate destiny.
It would be an effective way to remove Hiddlestonâs Loki from the movie-verse without killing him, AND place both Sylvie and any other Loki variants back in the the main timeline for use in future filmsâwhich we know has to happen somehow, because Young Avengers is definitely happening, and Kid Loki has got to get out of the void somehow.
And yea, this outcome would hurt like a bitch. Because even though that would truly be a lovely glorious purpose for our Loki, heâd be alone. And the whole point of this show is that he doesnât have to be alone! It would be a very poetic sacrifice for him to take on the burden of watching over the timelines alone for all eternity so that his other variants could be the best versions of themselves, but I really just want him to be happy. I will be crying my eyes out if this happens. Iâll be proud but I wonât be okay.
And this all is probably speculative nonsense and could go off in an entirely different direction. Who knows. All in all, I just really want to see Loki fully believe in himself and his ability, to truly absorb what he said about being stronger than he realizes, and to take control of his destiny.
WHAT I WANT (NEED) FROM EPISODE 6:
Let Hunter B-15 and Mobius team up to burn the place to the ground. She was nerfed in the time-keeper fight, I want to see B-15 kick some ass.
I kind of want Ravonna to escape and be a character that carries over into the films for her tie-ins with Kang? I want to see more of her.
Give Loki a new badass costume. Iâm begging. If heâs gonna go down, he deserves to go down in something other than khakis.
And then I want to see him and Sylvie fighting side by side in matching outfits.
I want a Mobius-level hug between them. Or a kiss. Or both. But I want the hug more. And you know what? I want her to initiate the hug or kiss or whatever it is because I want Loki to experience receiving love and affection from others as much as giving it. He deserves it ok??
I expect Mobius on a jet ski in the post credits and if I donât get it I riot
@marvel these are my demands.
As always, if you've made it this far I'd love to hear your thoughts!

The Sweetest Wrath
Your romantic dinner with Crowley goes pear-shaped when Aziraphale unceremoniously interrupts. As your attention is captured by the angel, Crowley finds he has to use more creative means to remind the two of you just who you belong to.Â
Pairing: Anthony J. Crowley x reader (ft. Aziraphale)
Warnings: Exhibitionism, little bit of voyeurism, praise kink, fingering, rough sex, dirty talk, hair pulling, car sexÂ
Length: 4.2k
Cross-posted to AO3 here
This work is a commission for @mollyplier
                              â â
Despite what you might think, demons had very busy schedules. Well, someone had to go around tempting people into their insidious desires, spreading hate and unrest within the population. Whether that be by blocking off all the main roads with untimely construction work that never seemed to be completed, pulling down all the major phone networks on a Friday evening, or by crashing the entirety of the public libraryâs database during finals season, Crowley had a long to-do list. Never mind the collection of souls for the Dark Lord, a back-breaking tasks in of itself.Â
Of course, that never stopped him from using his tempting charms as a means for his own good. There were a few souls that had caught his eye over the centuries, but they were far too special to be sacrificed to the Dark Lord. No, these were just for him. You were one of his finest achievements, but it didnât take much to ensnare you. His charming walk, his easy grin, and his simple one-liners. Who could resist? Itâd almost felt like you knew him for centuries, but that was just how comfortable you were with Crowley, and how much of an old soul he really was beyond the sarcastic, sniggering snake he could be sometimes.Â
Still, he worked hard, even if he didnât want to. Which is why you loved Aziraphale, a cheeky but posh cherubic principality who was Crowleyâs colleague, friend, confidante, everything. Though Aziraphale didnât like it, he understood how useless it was to cancel each otherâs work out, and would sometimes come to an agreement with Crowley over the heavenly state of the souls of some townâs population. Usually, Crowley won the coin-toss. Aziraphale never thought to ponder how Crowley was always so lucky.Â
But on the off-chance that Crowley lost, Aziraphale would keep you company. He was a delightful companion, and the two of you always spent your time talking books, plants, and the bureaucracy of Heaven. Aziraphale had much to say regarding that. But now, with Crowley off unveiling the worst in people, you were sat at home alone, planning. Conniving, he would call it, and then boast about how he had done well in corrupting you. If only he knew.
Youâd made a reservation for two at the RItz for you and Crowley for that very evening. It was technically Aziraphaleâs favourite place, but you knew Crowley was fond of it as well, having been dragged there for drinks and crĂŞpes since its inception in 1906. You planned the whole thing out; for dinner, a sumptuous 4-course feast, and for dessert, well... You had several decadent selections in mind, each sure to make him more insatiable than the last.
Your instructions to Crowley were simple as you typed them out on your phone. Dinner, tonight. Pick me up at 8. Stay hungry, my demon.Â
His reply was swift. Ravenous already. See you tonight.
Crowley wasnât often known for punctuality, but because you hadnât been able to spend much time together since he was busy at... work, you supposed it was, he was outside your flat, leaning against his Bentley waiting for you at 8 on the dot. You smirked at the sight of him, black blazer, black trousers, per usual. Red hair swiped upwards, black sunglasses framing his sharp features. He was angular, positively fiendish, and he was here for your soul.Â
                              â â
As expected, the Ritz was beautiful, the vintage buildingâs peaks soaring into the backdrop of the starry night sky, and its patrons dripping in glamour. Guests came dressed with their savings on their sleeves, with even the most casually dressed of diners boasting expensive loungewear. You thought you fit right in on the arm of your demon, bedecked in black, and you, clad in a tasteful dress that brought out your eyes. As you made your way up towards the entrance, your arm brushed against Crowleyâs, and you nearly flushed, as though this was your first date all over again. He just had that kind of effect on you.Â
Despite the fact that Crowley wasnât often one for affection, you could feel his long, strong arm slipping around your waist as he escorted you into the dining room, a quiet din of the other diners filling your ears. You sat down onto the white upholstered chair, and smiled at Crowley as a waiter came to take preliminary drink orders. Minutes later, drinks and the first course had arrived.Â
âThis is absolutely glorious, angel, thank you.â Crowley murmured as he tipped the mixed alcoholic concoction into his mouth. His tongue darted out to collect a stray droplet, and you watched it with fascination at its snapping movement.Â
âItâll get even better once you start eating instead of just drinking.â You quipped, lifting a forkful of your dinner to your mouth. Crowley grinned.Â
âAll in good time.â He raised his hand, fingers long and neatly manicured, and gestured to the waiter for another round.Â
âHave Hastur and Ligur been giving you much trouble?â
âNgk.â Crowley responded, this time taking your advice and swallowing whole his bites of dinner. However, he remained a perfect gentleman, and you couldnât help but stare at him outfitted in his jacket and trousers. He didnât necessarily fit in among the glitzy crowd of the Ritz dining room, but damn if he didnât look every bit as expensive as everybody else in there, right down to the shining black gunmetal of his sunglasses. âNothing I canât handle. Theyâre attempting to delegate the planning of the next recession and stock-market crash to me, but I told them they can stick it right-â
âOh!â A sudden soft gasp, otherwise masked by the din of the room, caught Crowleyâs ear. Mostly because heâd heard it for centuries; mainly when a particularly cute creature was in view. His partner in.... something, Aziraphale. You noticed him noticing it, and turned your head to see what had caught his attention.Â
âCrowley! Y/N! How lovely to see you both here!â Aziraphale was positively gleaming as he approached the dinner table, a ray of sunshine in direct opposition to Crowleyâs black void. You couldnât help but smile at the angel, appreciative at his endless enthusiasm.
âAziraphale, what a surprise!â You returned.Â
âOh, my dear, I have been holed up in my shop for what feels like hours. I had to get out and have a nice cuppa. Speaking of which, have you read that novel I gave you yet? You simply must, I could not put it down for the life of me.âÂ
âOh, Iâve gotten about halfway, and I was so shocked when one of the twins died, and- oh, please, sit down.â You hadnât expected this interruption, but now that he was here, you simply couldnât resist a quick chat. You were about to ask a nearby diner if you could borrow one of the chairs at their table, but one miracled itself right in front of your eyes. You glanced around at the others, the magical appearance of the chair apparently unnoticed, then at Crowley, seemingly as indifferent as ever, continuing to sip at his drink.
âThank you, Y/N. Now, tell me what you think of the heroine.â Aziraphale happily on the chair.Â
You gushed about the novel with Aziraphale for a few more minutes, admittedly completely neglecting Crowley during that time. But every time you glanced at him, he seemed to at least be paying attention, albeit drinking all the while. You had counted three or four empty glasses before the waiter came to collect them, bringing a fresh one shortly afterwards. A demonâs tolerance was essentially bottomless, so Crowley wouldnât be anywhere near drunk yet, but it could be soon at the rate Aziraphale was talking, and Crowley with no other way to entertain himself.
âOh, have you finished eating? Then I believe itâs time for dessert- garçon! Three of your finest strawberry crĂŞpes, sâil vous plaĂŽt.âÂ
âOh, angel, I think Y/N had planned for-â but Crowley was quickly cut off, and he sat back in the chair, raising a brow to you. You signalled to give it another minute, and you would start to shoo Aziraphale off.
âDonât be silly, Crowley, company as lovely as YN here deserves nothing but the best- and the crĂŞpes here are the best.â This seemed to shut Crowley up for the moment, but you could tell he was getting a little territorial over your attention, with his boot beginning to slowly trace itself against your ankle. You cleared your throat to focus, but your leg did not move, eager for a piece of Crowley during this interrupted dinner. Still, it was simply impossible to be rude to the angel, and Crowley, for whom it was somehow an endearing trait, was seemingly refusing to help. âOh, Y/N, that reminds me, I have taken your advice and have taken up a spot of painting.â
âOh, thatâll be fun. What medium?â
âOil paints, I should think. I dabbled in it before, of course, tried a hand at some neoimpressionism, but I should think the classical styles are more my type, the nude portraits and the like. Positively divine.â Crowley snorted, the first indication that he hadnât petrified and turned to stone since Aziraphaleâs arrival.
âBit biased there, arenât you?â He drawled smugly.Â
Aziraphale glanced at Crowley from the corner of his eye pettily, then looked back at you. Then as if to spite him, or perhaps out of a naive desire to simply catch your beauty on canvas, he blurted out, âYouâd pose for me, wouldnât you, Y/N? Youâd make a beautiful model for a nude study.âÂ
Your eyes flashed and your mouth fell open slightly, lips parting in surprise. It wasnât necessarily the request, but the fact that Crowley was right there-
âOh, yes, I could see it now. Bedecked in honeysuckle and lavender, in your hair, against your lovely skin, youâd be heavenly. What do you think, Crowley?â
You laughed, a bit taken aback. âIâm flattered, really! But I-âÂ
âOh, I should think she would be- Y/N.â Crowley leaned forward, placing his elbows onto the table. âGet your coat, sweet.âÂ
Aziraphale seemed genuinely confused, bless him, turning to look at the demon. In the meantime, you stood from your chair and scooped up your jacket, trying not to think about how Crowleyâs darkened voice sent shivers up your spine. You knew this was coming from the moment Aziraphale even mentioned nude portraits, could almost see how his features were shadowed by lust at the thought of you. Aziraphaleâs voice remained strong, but innocent. âBut the crĂŞpes havenât arrived yet-â
âOh, come on, Aziraphale.â He cajoled. âLetâs have a bit of a walk, hm?â Crowley inclined his head towards the exit, his red hair catching the light of the chandeliers. You smirked as the angel, still babbling, stood up and reluctantly agreed, leaving the promise of his dessert behind.Â
With Aziraphale in front of you, Crowleyâs arm slid possessively around your waist a little tighter this time, pulling you to him, against him as you walked between the tables. You could feel the power in his body with every step, and though you knew you were in for it now, the thought of Crowley claiming you as his was as delicious a dessert as you could ever have suggested. Despite his intimidation, you knew he was secretly enjoying this; he had found the perfect excuse to shut Aziraphale up, and finish the the night off exactly the way he wanted to- with your legs spread.Â
The night air was cool but not unpleasant as a breeze traced across your skin. Your senses felt sharpened, each of his touches sending you into a frenzy as he led you towards the car. Aziraphale followed behind, one of his hands holding the other in front of him like a poised debutante.Â
âY/N, sit in the back for a moment, please.â You heard the subtle growl in his voice, and you obliged, popping open the door of the big, black Bentley and slipping inside onto the cool leather. The angel and the demon got in in front of you, and you stared at their beautiful silhouettes. Crowley, a lean, shadowy, sinful figure, and Aziraphale, a vision of purity and light even in the nighttime, even in the face of Crowleyâs wrath.Â
The car was silent for a beat before anybody spoke.
âMy two angels,â Crowley murmured, turning back to look at you in the backseat. âYouâve both been naughty, havenât you?â His gaze turned to Aziraphale with a slight turn of his head. Even behind the impenetrable sunglasses that perched on his nose, his gaze was heavy, dangerous. You scarcely felt yourself breathe. You were in trouble now.
âCrowley, itâs my fault, Aziraphale was just-â You began to reach forward for him. He turned his head towards you, and your mouth closed. You sat back against the backseat of the Bentley quietly, the leather creaking underneath you. It was the only noise in the car for a long moment.Â
âI know what he was doing, love. Like to have a bit of a look? Bit of a flirt?â He looked at Aziraphale. âAnd you-â You bit your lip, eyes lifting slowly to look at him. âYou know.âÂ
God, did you ever. Crowley had never been that much of the jealous type, but for you to have been fawning over Aziraphale like that, during a dinner meant for him to relax? It was enough to trigger the most hellish side of the demon, and you were in for it now. Heat flooded your core, and you pressed your knees together. You saw Crowley raise a brow behind his glasses, a smirk adorning his lips. He saw.
âYouâre enjoying this. Would you enjoy bouncing on my cock while Aziraphale watches, then? I think itâs what you both deserve after tonight.â He inclined his head towards the angel, who began sputtering in shock.
âCrowley, I say!â But you saw his cheeks flush pink, painting the perfect picture of a cherub. You werenât going to lie, making Aziraphale watch was one of the hottest things youâd ever heard, and you had never expected Crowley to go that far. It was clear things were going to be played by his rules tonight.Â
âWhat dâya say, angel?â His smirk grew wicked, and you grew hot beneath your clothing. Your reply was a whisper, but you knew he heard it, and he knew you meant it.
âYes, Crowley.â
It took him precisely half a second to materialize in the backseat with you. It was a mess of limbs, his long and lean, and yours tangled up with him. His hands gripped your hips, and his lips found yours in a searing kiss. You moaned into his mouth at the feeling of his strong, nimble fingers beginning to trail up and down your sides, one slipping underneath your shirt to palm at your breast. His thumb rolled circles over your nipple, and you groaned your pleasure against him.
âEyes on me, angel.â He growled in your ear. You blinked, and looked up at the man overing over you. His sharp features were illuminated only by the orange glow of the streetlights outside, and whatever scarce cars drove by. You knew they couldnât see anything; the car was probably magicked to invisibility. Crowley wouldnât be that careless. He was lithe, but heavy, a comforting weight between your legs, and his hair already a mess from the way your fingers had been running through it. He stared down at you with black eyes, his sunglasses still on his face. âBoth of you.â He barked, lifting his head to look at Aziraphale. The angel, looking quite unsettled, turned his head to look at you. Crowleyâs hands made quick work of your shirt and your bra, exposing your breasts to the night air.Â
You felt like you were being ravished in front of God himself, a demon laying snugly between your thighs. Crowley seemed to agree, as he bucked his hips against you, his hard erection pressing into your clothed centre.
âFuck, Crowley, please.â
âSo needy, angel, even with an audience. Youâre greedy, little one.âÂ
His large hand snaked down to between your thighs, his fingers beginning to rub you against your trousers. You keened at the feeling, head rolling against the car door, hips squirming. He held you fast, his weight keeping you pinned down beneath him. You felt absolutely at his mercy, without even Aziraphale to dare help you now. Crowleyâs fingers then found the button and zipper of your jeans, at which point he began to yank them down.Â
âCrowley, is this really-â You heard him start, but your moan swallowed his words in the darkness of the car.Â
âThat feel good? My long fingers inside of you?âÂ
Precisely two of his long fingers were now buried deep inside of you, thumb on your lit, and palm slapping against your pussy. Your hands snapped forward, gripping his forearms. You felt the power beneath the corded muscles that flexed underneath his thin black blazer. The smell of smoke and leather overwhelmed you, eyes shutting tightly as his fingers increased their pace.
âLook at me. Look at me, or I wonât let you cum.â He hissed, and your eyes popped open, so desperate were you for release.
â-Yes, Aziraphale,â He addressed the angel calmly, though his eyes remained on you. âThis is what you wanted, isnât it? To see her splayed out, desperate, needy, begging? âCept of course, itâs my cock that sheâll be bouncing on, isnât it, love?â His thumb rolled over your clit harshly, and your hips bucked. Aziraphale couldnât help but keep his eyes trained on you, so clearly in the throes of pleasure. He wasnât proud of himself, and yet...
âYes! God, yes...â
âYou like him watching, donât you?â He purred in your ear, and your ankles hooked around his hips, an attempt to bring him closer. No part of him touched you except his hand, buried in your soaking cunt. âSay it.â
âI-I... I like it! I like it- please, let me... cum.â
âAlright, Iâll allow it. Cum.âÂ
Stars sparked behind your eyelids, and fire tore through your insides. Your juices soaked his hand, fingers still fucking in and out of you, and you heard him groan at the sight of it. You could also feel him rubbing against your thigh in search of a bit of friction, but still, he kept his composure. A sheen of sweat covered your forehead, hair sticking to your cheeks. Aziraphale cleared his throat quietly; youâd nearly forgotten he was there at all.Â
âAre you satisfied, Crowley?â He muttered.Â
Crowley grinned. âNot nearly.âÂ
In the blink of eye, you were on top of the demon, jeans abandoned, and his cock free of his tight leather trousers. He folded his hands behind his head, mirroring your previous position, and yet it was clear he was the one in charge here. His sunglasses were also gone at this point, and the sight of his snake eyes filled you with desire. There was something so wrong about it all, being fucked by a demon with an angel staring right at you. You had no hopes of explaining this one to the Almighty.Â
You could barely keep yourself upright as you straddled him, limbs still weak from your orgasm. Crowley did not care.Â
âTurn around, Y/N.âÂ
You raised a brow, and his eyes narrowed, challenging you. You quickly changed positions, with the help of Crowley sitting up a bit in the back. You were now sitting atop of him, staring directly in the face of Aziraphale, sitting in the passenger seat. If he had looked uncomfortable before, he was positively faint at this point. It was clear he wanted to look away, and yet, if either by some wicked temptation or by Crowleyâs clear commands, he did not. Not for a second.Â
Not even when your eyes rolled to the back of your head as the tip of Crowleyâs cock rubbed against your folds. Instantly, you felt desire electrify your insides, and you wanted nothing more than to sink down onto him. But you needed his permission first. He rubbed the pre-cum against you, and you felt your juices slowly dripping down your thighs. You shuddered, hips bowing down to try to take him in. He chuckled.Â
âYou still want my cock, love? Right in front of Aziraphale?â
You lifted your eyes to the actual angelâs, and he gave you a slight smile as if to assure you. Angel or not, he couldnât have not been enjoying this display.Â
âYes, I want your cock always, Crowley, please, please fuck me.âÂ
âWhatever my angel so desires. Keep your eyes on him and I might let you cum again.âÂ
With one hand on your hip pulling you towards him, he used the other to guide himself into you. Thick, long, and hard, he filled you entirely, and you felt stuffed as you seated him inside of you right to the hilt. You heard Crowley growl underneath you, the only time he had lost his composure during this entire affair. His hand pushed against your hip, encouraging you- pushing you to build up your rhythm. You gyrated your hips against him as hard and fast as you could, but it didnât feel like enough to Crowley.
You bounced against his cock, tits bouncing in front of Aziraphale, hands reaching for the headrest to steady yourself. Crowleyâs hips, powerful and strong, fucked up into you as his cock filled your walls. You felt him shift slightly, and the instant he hit that special spot, your back arched.
âThere, is it?â Crowleyâs voice was rough, and his grip, his pace, was rougher. âLook at you, being fucked right here in the backseat, absolutely soaking wet for my cock, even with someone watching. You are a little minx, arenât you?âÂ
His dirty words spurred you on, bouncing as quick as you could, chasing your high. You knew Crowleyâs permission wouldnât come easily this time, and you had to make it count.Â
âAziraphale, isnât she lovely?âÂ
Your eyes flitted to the angelâs, then fell, and he swallowed, clearly affected by the sight of you. âPositively decadent.âÂ
âAnd she belongs to me.â Â
His fingers wrapped around a handful of your hair, bending your neck back. You felt his teeth scrape against the exposed skin, and you cried out at the feeling of the pleasure and pain mixing. âLook at him while you try to cum.â
One of his hands traveled between your legs, and his fingers pinched your clit. You nearly sobbed, and you wanted nothing more than to collapse, but still, he kept you going. Your release was coming, and coming hard. Crowley could feel it by the way your hips began to stutter, your pace slowing as your limbs grew weak from the exhaustion.
âDonât you stop.â He yanked your hair harder, and you moaned in response, the stinging sensation in your scalp a delicious addition to the pounding between your legs. His cock, hot and hard, was hitting you over and over again in the your most sensitive of places. But you were so close, so close.
âPlease le-let... me cum!â You begged, his fingers gripping your hair and your neck bending as you stared into Aziraphaleâs eyes. Crowleyâs fingers began to tweak at your clit, but his permission didnât come. You cried at the feeling, continuing to fuck yourself against his cock without any sign of release in sight.Â
âTell me who you belong to.â You could hear his voice becoming ragged as he fought the urge to cum himself, eyes fixated on the way your ass bounced against his hips, his cock disappearing in and out of you.Â
âYou! You, Crowley, only you... Please!âÂ
âCum.âÂ
With one single word, you fell to pieces. You fell forward as his hand released your hair, his hands now gripping your hips harshly as he sought his own release. You moaned at the feeling of letting him use you for his own pleasure as your cum soaked his cock, your thighs, and the leather of the Bentley beneath you. Your fingers slipped against the plastic interior of the car door, trying to no avail to get a grip on your surroundings. He thrusted in and out of you a handful of times again before cumming, hot spurts of cum filling you up inside, then slowly beginning to trickle out.Â
Crowleyâs hands, no longer harsh, but strong, moved to disengage himself from you, and reached for some napkins to help you clean up. You reached for your shirt and jeans, and began to dress yourself as awkwardly as you could in the small space. Crowleyâs hair was mussed, and his perfect skin glowed with sweat. You felt your hair sticking to you, and the heat of Crowleyâs cum still inside you. Limbs weak, you allowed yourself to be collected in Crowleyâs arms.
Aziraphale cleared his throat quietly.
âYes, well... that was-â
âDivine? Tempting enough to immortalize on canvas?â Crowley finished with a grin. You felt him chuckle beneath you, and you snuggled in close to his chest.Â
âNo! Goodness, no, I, uh... get the message.â
âGlad to hear it. You alright, love?â
âYes, Crowley.âÂ
âGood. Shall we get some dessert?âÂ
You saw Aziraphaleâs gaze light up, and you knew that his eyes were never meant for you. Only Crowleyâs.

Hello, Julian, Dr. Eggman here! Just dropping by to say hello! Oh, also, I have a request: I've seen you speak many times of your art depicting me, but I'm having difficulty finding it anywhere. I'd love to see some of it - I'm very interested to see how someone as loyal and adoring as you captures me in all my glory! Oh, and by the way, your descriptions of me are surprisingly accurate. Someone's clearly devoted, isn't he? đ Yours in world domination, Dr. Eggman.
Hello Ivo, it's so great to see you! It is pretty difficult to find my art here, in fact I had some time finding it myself. But I'd love to show some of it so you can see how I depict your glorious visage!
I'm always drawing you traditionally on paper on a daily basis but I often only post my digital stuff. I don't finish and post very often but I'd like to because you deserve much more! But here are a few of my favorite digital pieces that I've shared so far.
I really love the design of your Egg Breaker and Egg Emperor (hence the username) just like all of your other genius creations, so I had to draw it!
I think you look absolutely fantastic as a vampire for Halloween so I draw it every year! The blood could be real or fake, your choice heheh
All of your looks in the Olympic games are very beautiful, I hope to draw them all soon! But so far I've drawn the magnificent outfit you wear for the Equestrian event! And with the gold medal because you're always number one!
I hope that you love and appreciate yourself every single day, but also during Valeggtines day! I always love to imagine you gifting and praising yourself because you know just how handsome and precious you are! đ
I hope you like them! I have so much fun drawing you, in fact I don't even draw anything else because you are the most special and worthy. There's lots more art to come from me in the future too, of course! đ
And my descriptions are accurate? It's great to know that all of my knowledge has come in handy because I am indeed very devoted, willingly and happily always! I've always hoped you'd be able to see it all for yourself so this means a lot to me!! :D
Aaahhh tell them I wish them all the best and love them too!! They're the best robots for having the best creator! đđđđłđłđł

Incredibles 2 spoiler-free review
I returned from the movie! What did I think? It was great!
It didnât match the first one, sadly... but of course, few things can. It lacked those dark moments that the first one had, a more adult feeling and, unfortunately, I can also say that it lacked a compelling, fleshed-out villain; I also felt that it was very long for the little amount of story it had to tell. And I might have to change my blog title because âScreenslaverâ is only onscreen in this movie for a grand total of, like, 8 minutes. Also, the wannabe supers were criminally underused! But those are minor complaints, and my praises are much greater.
First of all, I must report that Michael Giacchino scalped me, I am bald, I have no wig, it has been snatched. Second of all, throughout the movie, I was marveling at the intricate detail and attention that Pixar places on every single texture and strand of hair and beam of light, every fold in the fabric, every shard of ice, and every wrinkle on peopleâs faces. This movie is glorious and beautiful to behold, visually. If only for the visuals, I actually beg you to see it on the big screen. It was an experience.Â
Even if they were slightly underused, I loved the new characters, especially Voyd, Winston and Evelyn. I freaking love Evelyn in particular. I love her design, the way she canât sit properly in a chair, and her outfits. She was just great. The voice cast is phenomenal, as always, and the movie is very, very funny! Pixar excels at humor, and it shines brightly in Incredibles 2, especially with Jack-Jack, who is undoubtedly the funniest character in the whole shebang. The charactersâ powers are utilized creatively, inventively, often, and to great visual effect (especially Violetâs force fields - wow!).Â
And I enjoyed the callbacks to the first movie!! Superfans will appreciate this - we actually get to see Fironic and Gazerbeam onscreen in a flashback (very briefly but still)! Also, when Helen accepts the Deavorsâ mission, she picks up a phone and tells them, âThis is Elastigirl - Iâm in,â mirroring Bobâs acceptance of his mission in the first movie. There are lots of little callbacks like that in the film - small details that youâll miss if you blink. And for those with a watchful ear, some of the sound effects in this sequel are identical to ones used in the first movie. For those who grew up with The Incredibles, this will be music to your ears, like it was to mine!
Overall, I really liked the movie! I didnât like it as much as the first, as you can tell - I felt it lacked the deep emotion, thoughtfulness and heart that its predecessor had in spades. But saying a movie âisnât as good as The Incrediblesâ is like complaining that your food is ânot quite as good as the nectar of the gods.â Nothing is as good as The Incredibles, and if the sequel had truly lived up to the first movie, I would probably be a wailing mess right now. Instead, Pixar gave us a worthy sequel - two hours of a roaring good time, action, sweet family moments, humor, and gorgeous imagery. I loved seeing my favorite characters back on the big screen! My predominant thought after watching this was, âThe Incredibles deserve a TV series.â I can only hope that they get one of their own. I encourage you to see this movie - I donât regret it!
You can send me an ask, message or reply to this post if you want further details!Â

Welcome to another profile on Behind the Screens, giving you personal insight on who your favorite creators are and what they do when they arenât wowing you with their creative ability.
Hiya! Iâm popping out of my writing cave to share with you the greatness of another artist, Glitter-cake20, also known as Sammy.  Youâve probably seen her awe-inspiring manips, gifs, incorrect quotes, and stories floating around your dashboard. In our talk, she shares her #1 guilty pleasure ship, creates her optimal Teen Wolf Puppy Pack spin-off, and lets us in her creative process.
Sammy! Why donât we start off simple? Tell us about yourself. The catch: the word count is either to or less than the number of letters in your two favorite Teen Wolf episode names. (ex. Raving + Galvanize = 19)
Memory Found + Smoke and Mirrors = 25
Iâm really lazy. I like reading. Iâm great at killing zombies on Xbox. I have blood in my coffee stream. I have resting bitch face.Â
Ooh, what makes these two your favorite?
Memory Found because i feel like that is really where Theo learned to be selfless. He fought with Liam knowing he could get killed or taken, and then later he literally sacrificed himself for a pack that wanted him dead.
Smoke and Mirrors - the entire Mexico trip was great but the part that really stood out in Smoke and Mirrors was when Berserker Scott had Liam pinned to the wall and Liam said âScott listen! Youâre not a monster, youâre a werewolf like meâ which parallels to earlier in Season 4 when Scott had said that same thing to Liam. It was just beautiful because it showed how Liam had accepted himself as a werewolf. Â Also, Derek evolving was just wow!
And how did you come to the Thiam fandom? What about them drew you in?
You know, I had just created a twitter account and I was just following few accounts for Teen Wolf, kind of just bopping along with all the other popular ships, and then someone made a post about âOMG what was THATâ and I opened the video and it was Theo and Liam making glorious eye contact, and I was never the same again.
What drew me in the most was that Theo was so vulnerable when Liam brought him back. He was once such a badass and now he was suddenly latched on to Liam - just made my heart melt. And Liam is my boy, but he made me so angry when he was mean to Theo! Like no boo, thatâs not how Scott raised you!
Lately, thereâs been exclamations from our pack about Thiam bleeding into their real lives (like, seeing their relationship in every movie/song or experiencing story plots in real life, etc.), have you felt this sensation recently? If so, in what ways?
Yes! Â I was sitting at a coffee shop writing the other day, and this adorable couple walked in. My brain immediately went âThatâs Theo and thatâs Liamâ And Iâm like, what is actually wrong with me? And literally every epic movie quote is now about Thiam, Iâve actually done a bunch of edits about that, which I will share for the Thiam Movie Fest.
Omg! That totally happens to me all the time, everywhere!! Since you see Thiam in anything, would you say theyâre your #1 guilty pleasure ship? If not, what are your guilty pleasure ships, couples where you donât care who knew or who disagreed, you ship them regardless?
Oh gosh Iâve had many. Stalia was one. Â I really liked the dynamic, in the same breath I was also pining for Stydia. I loved Jethan when that teaser came out. Â Briam, although I donât think anyone would disagree. Â Brett and Mason! Â And even when Scott and Allison broke up I was like, no but Scallison. Â I literally ship anything.Â
If you could build the ultimate paintball/laser tag team from any five characters on Teen Wolf, whoâd be on your team and why? Twist: now, choose one Teen Wolf villain whoâd be your secret weapon, provided they donât double-cross you first, mwhahaha.Â
Mmm okayâŚ(this actually makes me excited!) So for paintball, first of all Iâd choose Corey for his ability to disappear and strike from a position unknown to our opponents. Then I would pick Theo, heâs proven to be quite strategic and cunning in mapping out a plan! Peter, because he just no objection to kicking ass, any time any place. Kira, because she can divert the paintballs with her sword (and yes in my mind they would allow her to take the sword onto the field, shh). Braeden, because sheâs just a total badass and I just love her. And for my secret weapon I would choose Jackson so he can paralyze the opposing team with his Kanima venom!! Ha!
Jackson would be a total knockout secret weapon. The game would be over in seconds lol! Letâs jump into your works. Like @da-smiley99â, our artist last week, you also create a little bit of it all: drabbles, gifs, manips, and incorrect quotes. For you, which would you say is your favorite art form? How do you balance creating them all?Â
I really love doing the incorrect quotes, they are fun and I enjoy looking for gifs to match!
Whatever inspiration hits first is what I will do, most of the time its manips/aesthetics that I do for other writerâs work. I love appreciating and promoting what people have created because I know the effort that goes into it. There are still so many works I would like to do an edit for!
If your creative process for these pieces was a person, describe him or her to us. What do they do? Wear? Listen to? How do they handle conflict?
Sheâs running around in a pink fur coat, stilettos, champagne in hand, chocolates stuffed in her cheek yelling âOH MY GOD!â at everything. I imagine her in a clothing store, the clothes being ideas, and sheâs just grabbing everything pilling it onto her arm in a heap, eventually losing her balance and falling over. So when the shop assistant (my family) is like âMam, you need to calm the hell downâ she just runs to the next store, her champagne spilling as she wobbles down the sidewalk in the way-too-high stilettos. She probably listens to Taylor Swift in her pink drop top.
And whatâs hers (and your) writing Kryptonite? How do you two battle it?
With regards to writing -I come up with the most amazing and original idea for a story and I manage to write one mind blowing paragraph and then Iâm stuck. Â Thatâs why I take so long to create a story, it just takes me forever to get inspired again. Â I have a few WIPâs and I donât know what to do with them!
Creating comes pretty easy and I havenât had many hiccups while editing. I just suck at making video edits and I honestly wish I was better at it because I have so many ideas! I usually fight writer's block with generous amounts of wine.
If you did become that video-making mastermind, which one of those ideas would you explore first?
I always wanted to do an AU vid of Thiam just living life you know. Id also like to do a âtrailerâ for these amazing fics thatâs been written, kind of like what was done for Airplanes!
I sense a perfect opportunity to practice your videographer skills, mentally, of course! Say you were the Jeff Davis of the Puppy Pack Teen Wolf Spin-Off. Describe your very first and last scene of the pilot episode? How would you put your personal touches on those two scenes?Â
Personal Touches: A-class lighting because we suffered enough with the ever loving darkness of Teen Wolf.  Iâd like to see the characters develop more of a personal style, Liam would probably wear more âjockâ outfits as he plays varsity lacrosse now. Iâd love to put Theo in shorts for a change, maybe an early morning kitchen scene where he is wearing boxer shortsâŚokay Iâm getting distracted.
Eeek!  Okay so, the Opening scene would be Theo, Liam and Alec running from hunters, Theo has Liam by the arm, he pushes Liam and Alec into his truck and ducks in behind them. They speed off. Then he starts yelling at Liam âAre you crazy, Li?! Iâm getting real tired of saving you!â (que fandom freaking because he is calling him âLiâ now) and then at Alec âAnd you! What the hell did we tell you about sneaking out with Liam!?â Liam and Alec are just out of breath trying not to  laugh at Theo. Theo calls Mason to confirm that they are fine.
Closing scene: Liam flops down on the couch in the McCall house, next to Theo (because thatâs where he is staying now) âSo, uh, thanks for coming to get us todayâ. âYouâre an idiotâ but Theo smiles. âHow did you find me anyway?â Liam is twiddling his thumbs, âTracked your scentâ Theo gets up abruptly and leaves. Yup itâs going to be a slow burn!
Oooh, and which TW characters would you bring back as cameos or minor characters?
Frikken Danny! I feel like the guy deserved better. So definitely Danny. Â Iâd make him the supernatural privy teacher at the high school. Brett would also come back -as a ghost haunting Liam, especially when Li gets angry then Brett would just be in the corner jabbing insults at him and the pack would look at him like heâs crazy when he yells at the wall to shut up. Scott would make regular appearances. Deaton, Argent and Melissa would be regulars, and I think a guest appearance by Jackson because for some reason they are going to need a vile of his Kanima venom. Kiraâs going to come looking for her sword at one point. And Isaac shows up with Scott a few times.
I agree with you about Danny; we needed more of him! We should petition to get you in the writerâs room because I need your ideas to happen!!Â
How about gifs/manips specifically? Where does your inspiration for those stem from?
I would think of a scene that I really would have loved to happen and then I try to match it as best I can using existing material. Sometimes i would just be scrolling through gifs and Iâd be like âoh wait! This with this is perfect!â
Ooh, up for a quick demonstration? Letâs pick one of your favorite fanfiction scenes lately. Which images/thought processes would stick out to you? Any specific gifs come to mind?
So letâs take Airplanes 28 for example. The scene where Liam is weighing up all his options about how to deal with his feelings and Theo asks what his problem is. Â I would use the scene from S6 in the locker room where Liam is punching the locker, it had a few different shots of Liam being frustrated. For Theoâs part Iâd use the scene form 6x16 where he actually says âwhat is wrong with youâ. Then I just use the app to edit and merge them and voila.
Thatâs pretty neat. I didnât even know you could use apps to mash gifs together! If someone wanted to get started with creating manips/gifs, what advice/steps would you give them?
If youâre doing it from your phone, like me, you have to firstly find the right gif app preferably one that does video to gif and vice versa. There are a few that work really well, so hit me up if you want more detail! Â Iâm also still learning so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Weâve chatted about your art for Thiam. Do you also create outside of the Thiam fandom? Original Fiction/Artwork? Other Fandoms?
I used to write and draw when I was younger, the Thiam fandom actually got me back into all of that! I donât have any of my earlier writing works anymore but I still have drawings.
Aww, can you remember what you liked to write back then?
It was all fictional stories, mostly horrors! I loved writing scary stories, short or long and I would sometimes freak myself out a bit, especially late at night. I remember the one was about a guy whose car âbroke downâ on a deserted road and he went looking for help at an old farmhouse and couldn't figure out why the people were so weird towards him, so after a few days he left, walking back down the road and he came across his car completely wrecked, his dead body hanging halfway out the door...he was a ghost haha.
Looking ahead, whatâs one piece youâre working on that youâre dying for the pack to see? Â
Yes! This is a snipped of the AU Iâm doing for the Movie fest:
-âThatâs him,â Corey said nodding in Theoâs direction âthatâs the Judo champâ,
By the time Liam realised he had been staring it was too late, Theoâs head was tilted to the side, an amused grin spread across his face as he looked down slowly at this abdomen and then back up at Liam. There was no reason for Liam to deny that Theo Raeken was gorgeous, that he looked like a demigod in the golden light of the street lamps, but this was not the time for these kinds of thoughts. âGet it together Liamâ, he shook his head as if to rid his mind of Judo Boy.-
I will also attempt some manips for this piece!
Ooh, intriguing. How dare you stop there! I guess weâll just have to wait until next week, smh. One final anecdote before we wrap up?
Characters often find themselves in situations they arenât sure they can get themselves out of. When was the last time you found yourself in situation like that and what did you do?
The PA of our department at work tried to sell me sex toys from this ridiculously expensive catalogue and tried to make me have a sex toy party for my birthday because she would get a free gift and commission for it. First I said, but my friends and family ainât about that life, and sheâs like âNo Iâll just invite all my friends it's fineâ (to my birthday?? Okay bih). So then I said Iâll think about it hoping sheâd forget. She didnât. Â Eventually I told her that Iâm not doing anything for my birthday but thanks.
Oh no, she didnât! It was your birthday smh. Youâre stronger than me! Not only would she convince me to throw the party, Iâd have bought at least two things from that freaking catalogue haha! Well, weâre coming to an end, but first, whatâs next for you? Both in life and in the creation world?Â
Career wise Iâd like to do a few courses, and really start going into the direction of what I really love, which is anything creative, instead of just doing a 9-5 to pay bills, you know? Â So Iâm going to look for a way to bring these two worlds together so that I can always do what I love. Fandom wise, I really want to do more writing, explore different characters and ships!
And, weâll be over here, looking forward to more of your writing! Finally, Is there anything else youâd like to say? The floor is all yours. Dance away!
I hardly get to writing my own ideas so Iâm reluctant to say that I'll take prompts for fics and frankly I take so long to write that it will be disappointing, however, if someone has a scenario/idea for an incorrect quote, manip or aesthetic requests, Iâm all for it! I would love to do it! Other than that i just want to thank this entire fandom, you guys are keeping this ship sailing and its beautiful! Keep doing what youâre doing!
Aww, thank YOU for writing, creating, and giving us a lens into your world! Iâll be looking forward to the day you gift us with all the Thiam videos haha. From there, we give you Glitter-cake20.Â

A Coffee Drinkerâs Guide To Sheffield, England
In the heart of England, Sheffield is a winning mixture of past and present, where the proud industrial history of the Steel City lives on in numerous buildings, and in firms that still trade today. The worldâs first official soccer team was founded here in 1857, though Sheffield FC is now less familiar than the two top clubs, Wednesday and United.
While sports donât always score abroad, the city has shipped seriously successful cultural exports in more recent times. Brit guitar groups Pulp and the Arctic Monkeys both hail from Sheffield, and actor Sean Bean swung a sword in mega-franchises Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
Thereâs some spectacular scenery on Sheffieldâs doorstep, too, with the Peak District national park a haven for walkers, cyclists, and climbers. And even when youâre strolling on concrete, a reputation as one of Europeâs greenest cities means youâre never far from a park.
But if you want to take all this in youâll need some fuel, and happily the culinary scene seems to be flourishing. Two food hallsâpacked with independent tradersâhave opened in the past year, while the cityâs renown as an outstanding beer destination is well deserved. The last 12 months have seen new cafes open and existing ones expand, so thereâs probably never been a better time to grab a coffee and explore. You may end up stopping for a chat thoughâI found the staff at almost all these venues to be so friendly and happy to suggest other coffee highlights.
ďťż
Upshot
If youâre heading out of the city into the glorious Peak District, Upshotâs orange sign is a beacon for a worthwhile stop. Inside, a two-tiered seating area is all minimalism and light woods, the ceiling speckled artily with asymmetric tiles. A window bench fits neatly in the uncluttered space, which is popular with university students and staff from the nearby hospital.
A two-group Kees van der Westen espresso machine sits on the counter, where Girls Who Grind provides the regular stock. I enjoyed a smooth cappuccino from that roasteryâs Fazenda SertĂŁo Brazil and learned that Upshotâs guest espresso comes from âall over.â Thereâs batch brew and pour-over at hand, plus plenty of equipment for sale, including Chemex kits and kettles.
If you need a feed, the menu mixes brunch classics and less obvious choices such as savory oats with turmeric and mushrooms. Those offerings are bolstered by rows of baked treats, and if you take one thing away from this piece, ensure itâs the following: arrive early enough to get a cinnamon bun. In my opinion, whoever bakes these has completed cinnamon buns. (You can also find them at the ownersâ other venture, Elm, alongside natural wines and smart small plates.)
Upshot is located at 355 Glossop Road, S10 2HP, Sheffield. Visit their official website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
 Steam Yard Coffee Co.
This busy cafe sits just off Division Street, a road lined with young, independent businesses. That aesthetic continues inside via various pieces of cool wall art, but on sunny days the courtyard is the place to be.
Espresso runs through a Victoria Arduino Black Eagle, with house options by Caravan Coffee Roasters. My visit involved a sweet flat white from Caravanâs Market Blend, while guest espresso came from Campbell & Syme. Alongside batch filter, the bar also houses a tap for nitro cold brew. Floating further down the drinks list is the âAstronautâ. I havenât tried this yet, but itâs reassuring to know that someone will pour an espresso macchiato into a short, chocolate lined ice cream cone if called upon to do so.
Speaking of ice cream, Steam Yard has recently collaborated with another Sheffield independent, Bullion Chocolate Company, and the menu now features frozen delights like peanut butter ice cream sandwiches. These recent additions compete against the established expertise of local outlet 4eyespatisserieâweâre talking cherry and pistachio cruffins filled with Chantilly cream.
Those wanting stodge rather than sugar can peruse a list of grilled cheese and brioche sandwiches, and toast with toppings that I would appreciatively describe as âposhâ. Laptop laborers be aware: thereâs no Wi-Fi.
Steam Yard Coffee Co. is located at Unit 1-2 97, Aberdeen Court, 95-101 Division Street, S1 4GE, Sheffield. Visit their official website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
 Tamper Coffee
Tamper has become something of a Sheffield institution since it brought âKiwi cafe cultureâ to the city in 2011. There are now three venues around the city centreâincluding at the recently launched Kommune, a multi-vendor space stuffed with fantastic independent food and drinkâbut the focus on quality coffee remains.
At the original Sellerâs Wheel outlet near Sheffieldâs theatre complex, baristas run a three-group La Marzocco Linea PB and work with Tamperâs own blend from Ozone Coffee Roasters. Batch brew and drip options are available, and to me itâs still noticeable when a cafe serves an Americano in favor of a long black, allowing customers to dilute to their taste. Hasbean was in the guest espresso slot when I last visited, but the house roast made a delicious oat milk flat white.
Exiled New Zealanders and Australians might be tempted by the rare chance of a hot Milo, and an antipodean flavor is infused through the food menu: witness beetroot on burgers and the holy trinity of âsmashed avo,â poached eggs, and halloumi. If you fancy something sweeter, Tamperâs lamingtons are a blissful combination of sponge, chocolate, and coconut. A bonus: Sellerâs Wheel is licensed, and open late Fridays.
Tamper Coffee has multiple locations around Sheffield. Visit their official website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
 Bragazzis
Just around the corner from Sheffieldâs Antiques Village, this Italian-inspired cafe retains something of a vintage vibe. Retro posters and soccer memorabilia almost form a mosaic, while home cooks can browse stacks of stylishly packaged pastas, oils, olives, and more.
The coffee menu is similarly classic. Thereâs nothing too fancy or alternative, but a creamy cappuccino feels a good fit in these surroundings. The house espresso is a blend of Brazil, Peru, Colombia, and Nicaragua, roasted darker than usualâat Bragazzisâ requestâby fellow northern outfit Darkwoods Coffee. A compact, two-group La Cimbali dispenses the drinks, on a counter thatâs usually half-covered with ruffled pastries and jars of bite-size cannoli.
If you have been browsing the antique stalls, or walking in one of the woods nearby, you could easily be drawn to the pristine Italian sandwiches piled on the glass cabinet. Thatâs presuming you enjoy golden ciabatta with salami, or roasted Mediterranean vegetables, or fresh mozzarellaâŚ
But whether youâre eating or not, the relaxed vibeâenhanced on my latest visit by a superb soundtrack of lo-fi American indie tunesâmeans Bragazzis can still offer you a slice of La Dolce Vita as you explore the quirky Abbeydale Road area.
Bragazzis is located at 224-226 Abbeydale Road, S7 1FL, Sheffield. Visit their official website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
 Foundry Coffee Roasters
Opened in 2018 in the formerly industrial Kelham Island, Cutlery Works was Sheffieldâs first food hall, and it houses some superb eating haunts. Handily, it also provided a second site for Foundry, which has been roasting coffee in the city since 2012.
The companyâs new location is on the airy second floor, with one long bar that glows when the sun shines through the roof. Beans are roasted behind the counter when the venue is closed, and espresso arrives from a lovely-looking Londinium L3. On my last trip, Foundryâs Ethiopia Layo Taraga was clean and fresh in a piccolo, and naturally you can buy their beans here too.
Non-dairy-drinkers will be pleased that oat milk is swapped in for free, while those who want something stronger can opt for an Irish Coffee. Tea fans can also support Sheffield through a range of brews provided by the local Birdhouse Tea Company.
Food is bakery-based: Leeds outlet Brown & Blonde supplies indulgent brownies, while Foundryâs own âtoast stationâ sits next to an array of spread-it-yourself toppings. There are rumors crepes may be on the horizon as well, along with extended evening openings, which would surely be welcomed in this buzzy, sociable setting.
Foundry Coffee Roasters has multiple locations around Sheffield. Visit their official website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
 Other cup winnersâŚ
Once I started, I realized there is almost too much good coffee in Sheffield. For your convenience, Iâve condensed some more suggestions.
Traveling via Sheffield Train Station? Look for Motore CafĂŠâs little blue van. Perched on the main walkway into town, it offers Darkwoods Coffee espresso and a jazz soundtrack while you wait. The barista remains unfailingly cheerful in all weather. Five minutes away is Marmadukes CafĂŠ, which serves consistently good drinks (Origin Coffee on house duties) and camera-ready cakes in a classy setting. On the city centreâs outskirts, relative newcomer Albieâs is a chill, welcoming little spot. Beans come courtesy of another Sheffield independent, Smith St Coffee, which has coincidentally just opened its own cafe. Back at Albieâs, youâll find more 4eyespatisserie bakes to complete your caffeine hit.
Finally, the suburb of Crookes has benefited from the 2018 arrival of Whaletown Coffee Company. The drinks list is built on Bailies Coffee Roasters, with an ambitious range of guests that recently included Belgiumâs Mok Coffee. Tired travelers might spot the rare option of an âorcaâ, a quadruple-shot latte which apparently makes one âhighly intelligent and extremely fast.â
