because i think this is fun--what kind of relationship does ruri have with my other muses?

silva: they've been a total of once and it was just because they happened to stay at the same pokemon center for the light. he didn't notice anything odd about her and it was at the beginning of her runaway as it was in hoenn ... they had a few conversations, specifically about boreas and archel since they are fossils and he is always excited to see them! ... it was only after that when he realized something was up. in hindsight, he really should have noticed, but at the time the voice of the globe had gone completely silent when she was around. this is very unusual, it takes break speaking, sure, but never for longer than half an hour. it was half a day, maybe longer, of silence. he doesn't know if it was relared to SILVA, but it was on his list when he later learned she was from kalos.

terapagos: terapagos is the reason he got linked to the globe in the first place. he was one of the few in the team that actually got to directly SEE it, even touch the gem[which, in hindsight was a terrible idea], and he sometimes still sees it. though as time passed, it almost seems like terapagos has passed it's want to get ruri to come back ... and onto the globe wanting for ruri to find it. ruri was also the researcher to provide the indigo disk to the league. terapagos was the first stellar type he had met.

lysandre: lysandre leaves him on read. ruri is constantly sending access requests to go to kalos for research purposes, let it be to study the sundial, to ask if they have any research on zygarde, any carbink or diancie- this man was to harass lysandre labs so bad and has gotten into multiple calls and email threads that ultimate ended in 'hmm we'll think about it.' he's not going to stop, he wants into kalos. there is way too much research potential of stellars for him to just say aw darn guess i'll never go there ... his respect for lysandre has turned into bitter anger :')

colress: there isn't much here, but ruri actually reached out to him AFTER the whole unova disaster. mostly to ask why ... and also to ask him if he had any samples of kyurem or the swords or- really anything! they aren't business partners exactly, but they do hang out occasionally and drink coffee while not sleeping as they research their specific paths. plus ruri is just fascinated by colress and as he's seen the unovan's lab ... yeah of course he's going to use that resource. though it did cost him a bit, mostly because when they first had a chat, colress was very curious about this whole connection thing with the stellars. ruri was glad to share; in more ways that one.

rayquaza/loki: oh ruri has interacted with loki multiple times. ruri wants to ask them SO many questions; and frankly whenever they pass each other by ruri just runs up to them and starts yapping till they realize that loki is gone :( ... loki never really responds, just sighs and waits for ruri to not notice and walks away. as for the actual rayquaza form ... he only saw it during the events of emerald. he hasn't seen it since.

AZ: they've never directly interacted. that being said, ruri has read about the old king and wondered about the weapon he made. he'd like to take a closer look if it's ever found.

sycamore: ruri's only gateway into kalos that doesn't leave him on read ... and they both nerd out about basically everything. they often facecall and just have wonderfully fun conversations. ruri occasionally drops the fact that he really ... REALLY wants to go to kalos! though it's often repeated that darn! to do research in kalos, you have to be approved by lysandre labs, and anistar is difficult for anyone to get into ... aside from that, they're relationship is great! :)

raifort: ruri harasses the fuck out of raifort. like nonstop. they were close friends when ruri was still in the research team and moved to paldea ... but after the incident that harmless curiosity about her heritage and physical capabilities; turned into downright obsession with learning what it was. luckily, raifort is also curious, but even she won't lie that he's extremely unnerving to be around when it gets down to it and he's in his 'zone.'

zossie: he hasn't interacted with any ultra humans yet, zossie included.

ouutis: he has had a few interactions with the interpol agent, most as an escort when he has needed to go into the interpol's expansive archives. his relationship around interpol is ... positive, though it's only really because they think he'll eventually spill everything he's learned not only about the stellars but about area zero. ruri knows himself that he won't, but nonetheless area zero keeps trying and that means giving him resources that he is oh so happy to take.

sada: they were extremely close. best friends and intimate research partners close. sada was the first one to be invited to work alongside turo and sada and was seen as a valued asset to the team. he would be devastated if he ever learned that sada died, absolutely destroyed as she was one of the few people he grew close to at that time. there's a reason he was given the indigo disk to hold onto, despite what happened in the depths of area zero.

spinel: spinel is watching ruri like a hawk. he likes to tell the crystallographer that they're great friends!! but spinel is very much using him for learning more about the stellars and in turn anything he might know about terapagos. ruri goes along but never spills anything too deep. they do occasionally have a genuine interaction, but it's mostly the two just giggling while having hidden intentions about eachother.

giovanni: they've had one or two chats. happenstance to meet, nothing ended from it.

juniper: the occasional interaction that soon led to something a bit closer. they often discuss the possibility of origins--who could be a stellar, who probably isn't. these two are presently quite close and whenever ruri is more or less stumped, he usually goes to juniper. there is no filter between these two.

next gen plotcall

hiii everyone!! i'm following the trend and putting a lil next gen plotcall post up for my girls AHYOUNG and NAYOUNG! ahyoung is a contestant and nayoung is a coach so we'll get the best of both worlds. please like this post if you want to plot with either of them, and i'll do a quick rundown of some relevant info on them too.

AHYOUNG is just along for the ride. she is honestly bad at taking anything seriously and a bit of a delinquent and just signed up for next gen because she thought it would be fun so i currently don't know how hard she's going to work, because she is also super lazy JKDSLLDGS i think she'll put Some effort in but she ultimately doesn't care about this that much and could probably use a kick in the ass of some sort. she might fight people on camera too. she's a fun gal though, she will also talk to and befriend anyone and loves getting shyer people out of their shell. i would say she doesn't have a filter but it's not really that, she mostly just says whatever she wants all the time with no fear of the consequences. i think she will be a mess on the show. she is also not the best at dancing, at all, and will probably get annoyed and want to take too many breaks. watch her get kicked out episode one it would be what she deserves. but she does love performing and wants to perform something presentable for the judges, so she'll do what she has to.

NAYOUNG is like the opposite of ahyoung. she will take this So Seriously, like her life depends on it or something. she is not going to be nice. she is like definition of bad cop coach. but i think she'll be pretty good at her job. she's very meticulous and a perfectionist and is insistent on everything she's involved in being The Highest Quality Possible, so she will apply that standard to every contestant. i doubt she will give anyone any praise, but she'll give a lot of feedback...constructive feedback??? but not delivered in the most graceful way LMAO she is blunt and can be cold and got edited as the scary contestant on next gen last season, and it's true! that being said she can give decent advice and Was on next gen last season so she has some experience to share in that regard too. but she's here to make fragile contestants cry (she did that last season) and be harsh where others won't and ultimately try to build the contestants into the best versions of themselves they can be. that's what she thinks, anyway aklsdfaljkslkdasg

i also wanted to say that anyone can say anything about either of my girls in their interview solos! good, bad, anything is fair game, so feel free to use them if you need something extra to write about 💓 (just tag them somewhere bc i'm nosy and want to read it)

2. What are your unpopular opinion(s) of the fandom you’re rping in?

// SW fans learn the difference between forcing something onto you, and someone just stating an opinion. You're not a bigger fan for preferring one version of the canon over another, and same thing goes to the lesser of a fan argument. And don't even get me started on the whole crusade about "morality in fiction". Nobody is more morally righteous for watching the latest shows, or not.

The holy grail that we call source material is nothing more than a, collection of answers to the questions you may have. Disney's SW and Legends' come with their own different sets of answers. Trying to intimidate someone from enjoying one thing, is such a low move. And to me it tells me that many people, likely feel SO insecure about their beliefs/HCs/takes. That they feel like they have to act this way, in an attempt to "protect" themselves.

As an adult that's approaching her 30s, I've been far more drawn towards the more mature version of SW. I haven't been getting the most satisfactory answers from the new canon, and as such, I'll keep turning to Legends. At the same time, I don't treat the old Legends stuff as the holy bible, it isn't. I don't like everything about it, in the same way I also enjoy some changes brought by the new canon.

// I've had to deal with people like that many times in the past, and I've learned that it is best to just avoid those people. They are draining in every sense of the word, and my experience/time in communities has largerly improved, since I started filtering those people out.

To me, negativity can come in various forms.

There are obviously the people who are heavily tied to discourse, who are simply unable to drop a subject and move on, and they made hating a character/subject/part of a franchise's source material part of their personality. There are also people who overshare, every little bad thing that happened to them, and dump onto their mutuals/followers super personal shit that was never meant to be publicized. And they do that not out of malice in most cases, but because they are seeking out coddling and comfort in social media engagement (If anyone hits this point, they NEED to seek professional help.). And there are also people who are just unable to keep shit to themselves, or lack a circle of friends, to comment on every little thing others are doing. You know, the people who go 'oh ew. Imagine shipping/liking X Y stuff' or 'Oh what did I do? Why did I lose a follower? >:('. Now this is just vagueposting, which is targeting someone.

And before anyone tries to point fingers at me because, I support people doing whatever they want in their blogs. I also equally support people improving their online experience, and leave if they feel like they've had enough of something.

I may be kind in wording out the fact I'm burnt out, but if you ask me to roleplay their genderbent version or AU versions of themselves, be warned that I will deny if the burnout is recent OR if I really don't want to.

I hate being mean and/or putting up a boundary, but it makes things less fun if even YOU can tell from my replies that I don't want to roleplay as this person. So, for the sake of our enjoyment... Respect my wishes when it happens. Please.

Do not roleplay with me if you expect me to do all the work, especially in double ups.

What sucks ass in roleplaying is if you're getting one character while the other does most, sometimes all of them. Not only does it stress me out, it becomes less fun because it feels like it's only YOU that enjoys it.

Alongside this, be warned that on certain moments, I can and will ask you to roleplay as someone else that I either like or I can't roleplay at all. This is also evident with double-ups, because I myself cannot do self-indulgence. Do not tell me to do it myself, because chances are, we will not get along. Also, I do not care if you can't roleplay the person as close to canon, just respect my wishes and we'll be fine.

Do not godmod the roleplay.

Please, please, please don't dictate what you want a certain character to do/feel at ALL. I absolutely HATE having this happen— and especially if it's to someone I'm musing for YOU. If you want this character to do something that I'm not allowing them to (e.g.: make a sweet character do something unhinged, or even controlling them to do a certain action when it's obvious they aren't doing it on my reply), either tell me or don't do it.

Alongside that, Godmodding takes the joy out of roleplaying. I'm not an AI like character ai, and if you think I am, dni. I will not entertain people that would godmod my sonas, ocs, or even the characters I'm roleplaying as just because you didn't like what they're doing.

Be respectful of each other's interest.

If someone expresses an interest, please entertain it first. This is also evident on the matters of double-ups. Don't make it focused on what one person will do alone— its weird and it can be difficult to take it seriously. Also, I get uncomfortable when it happens.

This also applies to ideas on AUs and other matters. Please be warned that although I don't say it verbally, people could find it uncomfortable if they hate the attention being distributed equally. Finally, this applies to self-ships: do not make it all about you or your character unless said idea IS all about you or your character. I don't like saying it often, but if I do, it means you stepped over said line.

Please don't rp with me on one fandom only and only about you or people you like only :(

Sorry, selfshippers, but this is gonna be directed to those that want their selfship being rped but not... Anything else. //5. Ah yes. The character that I love that I don't think I could write... The main one that comes to mind that I KNOW I can't write because I tried forever ago is Nicholson's Joker. Loved that movie and that version since I was 4 years old. Tried writing him and it was a colossal shit fest lol.

6. Three things I love best about Chris (aside from the booty)...

His unending endurance. No matter what happens to him, and so much HAS happened to him, he just picks back up and keeps on going.

How much he CARES. The man cares so fucking much. Anyone that thinks he's just a buff, macho uncaring beefcake of a man is SO WRONG. He's so far from that, it's not funny. He would literally do ANYTHING for the people he loves/cares about. He does what he does because he wants to help. He doesn't want to see people suffer or die. Sure, make the joke that everyone around him dies etc, but it's not like he does it on PURPOSE. Each of those losses hurts him so goddamn bad, but he NEVER STOPS CARING. He never stops giving SO MUCH OF HIMSELF to others. He never focuses on himself it's always everyone else.

His loyalty. Even if it does get him in trouble. If he is loyal to you, that stays. I think the only exception was Wesker and... Even then? If Wesker had expressed a want to help him or reached out to him in a way that wasn't creepy murder hissing... He would have done everything he could to help him. If he becomes your friend, partner... anything... he will ALWAYS do anything and everything he can for you to his dying breath.

14. I won't lie... I love it. However, I have to talk to the person outside of tumblr. I need to establish a connection between the muses and have some kind of connection with the mun to be comfortable enough to write said things. I don't HAVE to write it though. Even if I do love to and I am always down for it, I am not here to just write that. I'm here for all the angst and soft and drama and action and horror. All of it. Plus, ya know, the big rule always applies. I'm /18/+ on/l/y on this blog for a reason.

16. Tbh? I love them both. Sometimes some threads and interactions call for short replies. Some long. I love just being able to do whatever. I don't like feeling pressured to match paragraph for paragraph or whatever. Whatever comes out of me writing wise comes out and whatever comes out of my partner then that's cool too. The only time I'm like... "uhm..." is when I get a paragraph response after writing a short novella that doesn't seem to give me much to go off of. I love being able to set scenes and moods. Sometimes that just REALLY takes up a lot of writing space and makes my replies longer, though. Never ever feel like I need you to give me the exact same attention to detail and match my length. You do you and I'll do me, but we won't do each other.... Probably.

I forget if you're someone who's talked about Cas-as-Jesus meta but if you are, I was just thinking how when JC first comes back in the bible, the apostles don't recognize him, and that whole Misha "wanderer" biz just made me think...what if when Cas comes back, the boys don't recognize him immediately? (for whatever supernatural Jesus-y reason)

but basically yeah, we have had a lot of imagery in the show recently which alludes to this idea of Cas being a stand-in for Jesus Christ. He certainly has the whole “dying for humanity” thing going for him at the moment: :(

At one point or another in this series all of TFW have been compared to Jesus and they all have Jesus meta about them. I think this lead to speculation that Sam, Dean and Cas together basically are the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) and that is a nice way of looking at things...

But back to Cas specifically being Jesus, yes, this does certainly fit in his current predicament. Following much of what he went through in season 12, if he returns after 3 days (or 3 episodes maybe) from the place he finds himself in (the Empty?!) and is unrecognisable at first in his transformation, it would fit this theme. I do like the idea of this ‘wanderer’ being an AU Cas though. A sole wandering loner angel fighting on humanities side against the nightmarish hellscape of this apocalypse world, a world where Cas never had the Winchesters to guide him but still chose humanity after everything (further cementing how he IS the angel of humanity and a Jesus figure in his own way)

Our Cas has never had the chance to confront Chuck following everything that has happened to him, and whilst I am on ‘team Death’ for the mysterious person he meets in this new place (the Empty?) I would also like it to be Chuck because Cas DESERVES to have that conversation and therefore CLOSURE with his father. 

There isn’t much more to Jesus’s story in the bible following his death and resurrection, but if the intention in season 12 was to ramp up the Jesus imagery, to bring us his ‘death for humanity’ followed by his resurrection, what does this mean for Cas going forward? 

In the bible, following the resurrection, Jesus appears to his disciples several times, at first they do not recognise him as you say, or believe who he is, but he performs a miracle involving fish and then commands them to spread his word and then ascends to heaven (apologies for this super condensed version I’m not all that great with bible stuff). Applying this to SPN, it makes sense that Dean and Sam maybe won’t recognise Cas at first, or at least refuse to believe he is back - if its several episodes before Cas comes back and especially if they actually do burn his body, its gonna be an interesting reunion where Dean for sure won’t believe him or think he’s a trick or monster or something. I don’t know how much if anything this will have to do with the ‘wanderer’ as I think that’s gonna be in the AU but if there is bleed over I would like to see real Cas and AU wanderer Cas meet and show their differences (especially if AU Cas notices that real Cas is totally in love with Dean).

If Sam and Dean don’t recognise or believe Cas is Cas when he comes back, then just like Jesus did, he is gonna have to do something to prove he is who he says he is. Jesus performed a miracle with a load of fish, Cas wouldn’t need to go so grand scale. He just needs to look deeply into Dean’s oh so green eyes and say “Hello Dean” and Dean will melt. You all know its true.

As emotional as the reunion scene will be, that’s not the part of this comparison that bothers me. Its the ascending to heaven part that does that. Because I don’t want Cas anywhere near heaven and the other angels again. But I can very well see the show doing this just to get him away for another few episodes (as they so love to do).

Trying to think of it more metaphorically though, in terms of Cas’s transformation arc, when he comes back he could be enlightened in some way. his ‘ascent to heaven’ isn’t so much a literally ‘going backwards and having to deal with his horrible family’ again, but instead finding and accepting his own personal heaven. Where he belongs, and resolving some of the bigger points outstanding in his character arc. His home, his family, his loved ones, and faith in himself. That’s what Cas’s peace should be, that’s what his ‘heaven’ should be. So getting him on the road to these things should be the primary goal for his story in season 13. However he gets there, whether by fish miracles, wayward disciples or an unruly new born nephilim manchild, I want Cas's story to be a bit more uplifting now, and a bit more enlightened for our poor angel.
