okay, so i love snowbarry as literally anything- romantic, platonic etc. i really adore their friendship, especially in s1 (what the actual fuck happened to them after that where did their relationship go-)

i think that they both can really relate to each other's pain and experiences, and they always manage to smile around each other in their darkest moments. remember 3x07 because I REMEMBER 3X07 HHJJGJLKFJFLK- he knows her so well that he was willing to risk his life for it. she knows him so well that she knew to help watch the tape of eobard confessing with him. they are also just really sweet and soft. when they know exactly what to say to each other. because of that they have a bond that goes beyond friendship but doesn't cross into romance. (queerplatonic snowbarry guys. hear me out.)

and also you cannot convince me that caitlin didn't like barry. at least a little bit. in s1 she was horrible at hiding it but the awkward pauses and giggles!!1 they were so soft.

i don't like when people romanticize their 'kiss' scenes because like my dude one of them was when caitlin didn't even want to and the bald shapeshifter dude was forcing himself onto her and the other one was when frost was trying to murder barry-

though it wasn't really them, which i always found interesting. how both of them got kissed by each other but not really each other. and to this day they both never told each other. anyway at this point they've given up giving us any crumbs of their relationship and whenever they are in the same frame i freak out.

dbl amnesia au in which when shadowvanilla settle down for the cottage lifestyle, everyone is, understandably, out looking for them. Two powerful beings gone? In an instant? At the same time? Soemthing *mustve* happened. And I think of all the people to find them first, Black Sapphire would stumble upon this, realize quite quickly that neither of them remember anything, and actually, kind of just… keep quiet about the whole thing. Hell, he might even settle nearby to keep an eye on them and see if smilk remembers anything by seeing or interacting with him, but all he sees is a man who is very happy with his new situation with no hints that he might even recall who he might’ve been beforehand.

if anyone else comes along, depending on who it is that arrives, black sapphire may even run interference to make sure others don’t mess with them and try to purposefully jog their memories since whatever they’ve got going on seems to be working for them, even IF he really wants his master back. And I’m sure smilk isn’t entirely unlike his old self… he’s just different now. Calmer. Happier for sure with pure vanilla being the optimistic cookie he is.

Speaking of, shadowvanilla probably make for fairly nice neighbors, and they play off each other like an old couple with their fond bickering. Probably like the grandparents people wish they had: a doting pure vanilla who’s more than happy to share extra produce and bring over food, a silly smilk who’ll happily spin yarn and tell stories about whatever he’s made up and who’ll take your side in arguments, and the both of them will sit out on their porch for tea for break or in the evening and be sociable to anyone who passes.

They deserve their peace and their homey habit even if it only lasts for a little bit, and it’ll be something they surely won’t be able to forget should their original memories ever do return

I am truly finding your descent into the utter madness that is joongdunk very entertaining. Probably because I get you. I only discovered them a few months ago and now I am swimming deep in the trenches of their lore. And I am loving every moment of it. I want to share my joy with you because you seem to be having a great time too.

I am the anon who sent you the mv and short film ask btw. I'm sorry I forgot to mention the horror aspect of the short film.

I fell in love with joongdunk dynamics, both on and off screen. On screen, I love the way they portray their characters. Off screen, I love the way they interact with each other. They are just so hilarious and wholesome. I guess my favorite part about them is how Joong feels comfortable enough to completely let go and be his most unhinged and crazy self with Dunk, and Dunk just accepts all of it without batting an eyelash. I love that while all of their antics are absolutely hilarious, you can also clearly feel the genuine love and respect they have for each other.

Oh no worries! I mean I figured it had to be horror themed given it was a Halloween project but I just did not expect them to go that hard with it. It has all the hallmarks I associate with the (very few) Asian horror movies I've seen in my life and there's something especially terrifying about them (vs Western horror films). Which speaks to the genuine effort that was poured into that pet project but also its nice to see them doing something outside of the college romance zone since that's all I've seen from them so far.

Ohhhh I love that insight about Joong feeling like he can be completely himself around Dunk. *O* I mean the man does seem to have the most minimal filter on the best of days and Dunk literally is never ever phased by any of it. Its amazing to watch in the best way.

Also its peak comedy when Dunk does something to make Joong speechless. Usually its also something that makes me think, "guys, you're on camera right now?? shouldn't this be in private??" like the time he got (fake?) mad about Joong sleeping over at a friend's house and got all pouty about not being informed/implied that he thought he thought Joong was only sleeping at his house. xD And Joong was left just like O 3O and not really knowing what to say. xD

I'm still very far from getting a sense of their personalties and characters. I can tell they're incredibly affectionate (as individuals) and that Joong at least is very physically expressive about it. But I want to watch some of their longer interviews to get a feel for what they're actually like, y'know?? Any recommendations?

Also omgosh please do not feel sorry, this is blanket permission to rant at me about JoongDunk and their shows and their projects or whatever else is tangentially related to them. I'm already bought in. xD I was on the fence until I watched SIMM and despite its flaws it still made me feel ALL THE FEELS and most of that was just the sheer intensity that JoongDunk brought to their on-screen moments.

Stepping back, she lowers herself to the floor, tugging Dark with her as she folds her knees beneath her, sitting seiza-style. A thoughtful stare follows as she taps a finger against her chin and hums lightly. "Mmm not quite…" she murmurs to herself, not liking the angle in which they sat. Without thinking Neya placed one hand on Dark’s arm and the other on his shoulder, simultaneously tugging him closer and pushing him down, gently maneuvering the infamous phantom thief so his head was resting on her lap. It's not until after he's settled that she even registers what she's done.

"Eek!" A flustered squeak escapes at her bold actions. Face heating slightly, she glances down apologetically. "I-I'm sorry! It's—It's ok if it's like this, right?" She continues though, despite a very slight bit of anxious embarassment, grabbing the bag of chocolates from him so she could sit it beside her for easy access. With the phantom thief settled, her free hand instinctively moves to his head, fingers beginning to stroke lightly through his hair—just like she'd used to do for the kids back on Nadeshiko Island. She tilts her head back a bit then, gazing up at the evening sky.

It's another peaceful night in Azumano, the half-moon was bright and the stars were twinkling. They weren't quite as clear to view as back in her time, but still nice to look at. She sighs lightly, feeling a bit more at ease. Neya tilts her head back down after a moment, reaching for another chocolate.

Ooof...I think the first anime was either Sailor Moon or Hamtaro but I wasn't really deep in the fandoms (I think I was 5 or 6). So...I think the first fandom I was really into was DBZ. It's so nostalgic for me. I remember spending hours drawing the characters. My older brother and I were both super into it, so it was a huge bonding experience for us. There was one summer when we spent so many late nights binge watching it, playing the video games, going on late night drives to the store to buy more of the video games...So the anime still has such a special place in my heart.

I know exactly what you mean! That number is so intimidating and it was for me too! I started watching it in mid-December and am caught up with the anime. It's funny though...I put off watching One Piece for so long, but when I started watching it (maybe around episode 400) I was sad because it didn't feel long enough.

Sukuna would be the type of boyfriend to be overly protective. Not just because of his possessiveness just because he loves you so much.

You want to go shopping? He will always go with you no matter how many bags he will have to carry around while following you like a puppy. You want to take a walk? He's already putting on his shoes. You are going to a girl's night out? He will drive you to the place by his cab and analyzes the place for a good few minutes before he feels satisfied enough to leave you there. Hell! He will wait outside the whole time if you let him be but you always reject the idea because you don't want Sukuna to appear crazy in front of your friends.

It's the same when you two go out in public. Sukuna will always keep a hand on your waist or hold your hand the entire time. If anyone dare to look your way he make sure they see the disgusted scowl in his face everytime. Sometimes "The fuck are you looking at?" right after.

Let's talk about traveling with Sukuna as your bf because this man personally research every place you two would go to before the trip, if you recommend a sketchy or a dangerous spot he immediately rejects it in a second even though Sukuna and his cab have been through much more worse places than you could imagine but that doesn't matter anymore because now he has a priority to take care of. He would put on your seatbelt by himself just to make sure. And if you two are trying out new foods in the wild he is always the first to take a bite just to make sure it won't harm his girl. When you two check into a hotel worry not Sukuna will always make sure you two get the best room even if it means bribing the hotel employees. If you are hiking and show even a little bit of tiredness Sukuna won't hesitate to picking you up in a second. His excuse is "Tch, you are making us slow woman" when in reality he doesn't want to see you in pain. You wanted to bathe in the river? He won't let you move through the waters alone no hell no, he will carry you until he finds a spot suitable in the river that isn't deep enough to put you down.

It's worse when you are sick. He will stick by your side tending to you and taking care of you 24/7. He make sure you get the right amount of medicine and food and if you refuse to eat he will personally feed you, if you reject again he will literally find a way to threaten you.
