Baizhu finds you quite interesting. You told him about your adeptus powers pretty early on into your relationship and he finds it extremely intriguing. He asks a lot of questions about your powers and about your life before him. He knows that adepti don't die from old age, so he asks about the past a lot since your thousands of years old. He asks for you to try his medicines that he makes sometimes to see if they will have an effect on you. "Darling, can you try this one?"

He doesn't ask all the time because he doesn't want you to think that he's using you because he isn't. He just finds your history and your powers extremely interesting, and he wants to be able to understand you more. So, if it seems like he's using you for his research he's not doing that he just wants to be able to understand his beloved s/o more.

𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒖

She's heard of the adeti before, and she's even met a few before but she doesn't fully understand everything about them. So, when you confessed to being an adeptus she didn't really know what to do. It's not like she was mad, or she loved you any less she just didn't know what to do to understand you or how your powers worked. You had hidden it from her for a while because you were nervous about how she would react and when you told her she made sure you knew that she didn't love you any less and that she wasn't upset. "It's okay, I understand why you would hide something like that" she said wrapping her arms around you.

She asks Ganyu about it since she knows Ganyu is an adeptus as well. Ganyu gave her some brief history on adepti and how they're powers work and their history. She always tries to learn more and more about you and your powers and she's always trying to educate herself on adepti so she listens to everything Ganyu tells her.

𝑮𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒖

She already knows that you're and adeptus since she's an adeptus So, it's not really anything out of the ordinary for her. If anything, she prefers her s/o to be an adeptus since it's easier for her to relate to another adeptus. She loves being able to talk to you about things mortals wouldn't understand. She finds most of the other adepti hard to talk to so her s/o being an adeptus really helps her. "It's so easy to talk to you, y/n"

You two had been friends for hundreds of years before you two got into a relationship and Ganyu had feelings for you for hundreds of years before you two got together so getting into a relationship with you was one of the best things that has ever happened to her.

"Ooohh cool so you're like super strong right? I know Mr Xiao is an adeptus so you're like him?? Woahh you're so great y/n, I'm so lucky to have you as my s/o" she said smiling at you. When you admitted you were an adeptus all she could think of was how cool it was and how much more she admired you. She takes such pride in you being an adeptus she just tells people about it mid conversation. "Oh, my s/o? there super strong and there an adeptus!! How cool is that?!"

She always tries to learn more about adepti and your history and how your powers work. "So, y/n, I have to ask, have you ever met any of the archons?? What are they like??" she's so curious about everything, she'll join you on commissions just to see how your powers work.

𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒈

"Hm? You're an adeptus? Oh, I know darling I could tell" she said softly as she looked up from her work. She knew everything about Liyue, Including the Adepti and who they are and their history so she could tell that you're an adeptus. And honestly, she doesn't care. As long as your safe and cared for she doesn't care about you being an adeptus.

She knows about adepti powers and the history of the adepti and everything so she's not really curious about how your powers work. If you want to rant to her or vent to her about how stressful being an adeptus can be she will listen and give you as much as advice as she can.

𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒉𝒆

She was raised by adepti so she already knew who you were and when you two developed feelings for each other and eventually got into a relationship she knew that you were and adeptus and how important you were to the people of Liyue. Most people address her as an adeptus but at the end of the day Shenhe is a mortal, so she always tries to understand you more. She has a pretty good understanding of your powers, but she always tries to learn more.

She looks up to you a lot and is proud to say that her s/o is an adeptus. She knows how hard you work to protect Liyue so she always tries to be as supportive as possible. She does get worried sometimes that you might get hurt, but she has to tell herself that your strong and that you'll be okay.

Like Ganyu, He prefers to have a s/o whose an adeptus. Honestly, I can't see him falling for a mortal I can only see him falling for another adeptus. He finds it easier to communicate with you because you understand things mortals wouldn't. He knows being in a relationship with him is difficult but you being an adeptus helps a lot.

He knows how different each adeptus is, so he always asks questions about how your powers work. You both had known of each other for thousands of years, but you had never really spoken much but when you did, he fell for you instantly and he spent a few hundred years thinking of ways he could confess to you. And it took him another hundred years to find the confidence to build up the confidence to confess but once he did you both knew that you two would spend the rest of eternity with each other.

replaying super paper mario, sporadic thoughts post-chapter 2:

very easy so far--& although ttyd was also easy, spm's gameplay is sadly substantially less rich thab ttyd's was

having said that the game design in spm is! unrelentingly charming!! the use of platforming as a framework for a varied stream of stage styles (straightforward levels, dungeons, towns, the entire 2-3 Situation) is creative in a way that imo predicts the sort of things the mario maker community later ended up making. chapter 2's set pieces in particular are extremely quirky (the rooms with traps, the rubee thing, the mazelike basement, the merlee game show lmao)

few platformers have boss fights that feel like genuine Combat, so that's pretty cool

i will confess that as a First Dungeon, yold ruins doesnt have half the sauce of hooktail castle--it's much more linear in layout, with far less of that zelda-y "explore & comprehend the space" principle that made ttyd's dungeons hit

in a similar vein, it's kind of crazy how tippi has like a fraction of the personality that goombella had. it's a bit sad for the character doing the vast majority of the talking to just.... not really have any opinions on anything

the momentum of the chapters likewise means very few npcs ever get to stick out. like, even the "first town crotchety old mayor" character was a total one-and-done, one dialogue and you never have a reason to speak to him again (mostly just speaks to the game structure, which is as mentioned a bold enough exercise that i feel i cant really fault it for that)

bringing up a menu to use items In A Platforming Context is not at all natural to me, so im finding myself just not really using them

this game is a masterclass in visual design imo. the npcs & enemies & pixls being made of primitives that reconfigure themselves into different shapes really elevates the interplay of 2d & 3d, the backgrounds/environments are extremely aesthetically satisfying (the Mathmosphere in lineland, the optical illusion in the sky in gloam valley, all of castle bleck), & i love how the constant "digital/tech" motif (eg the "dragging selection boxes to flip/teleport", the trees & shrubs looking like something youd make in ms paint, etc) is an ingenious progression of paper mario's core aesthetic design

the inter-chapter dialogue flashbacks are surprisingly earnest? for such a tongue-in-cheek game where almost every line of dialogue contains a joke of some kind, those exchanges feel humourless & sincere. that probably contributes to the Space the game occupies in all of our memories lol

likewise it was really interesting how peach's "escape" sequence after chapter 1 was (while, again, still extremely sardonic) aesthetically & narratively framed with such a sense of Hopelessness. that's not to say like "woahh this mario game is 10x darker than you thought!!!!", more that it's just not a space the series commonly ventures into

the Ancients stuff is being leaned into extremely hard lol. ttyd mostly teases at that kind of "mysterious rpg lore" thing peripherally (the riddle tower inscriptions, grifty, etc) so it's interesting how spm puts it front & centre in contrast, without ever sacrificing the sense of mystique

this game really highlights how interesting the wiimote is as a controller--pressing the A button while holding it sideways (ie removing your left thumb from the direction input to press a button) is something that i cant think of any other controller doing, & it projects onto that button a really interesting sense of, like, Valence

it's the kind of game that seems to beg for one of thsoe posts like "things that ACTUALLY HAPPEN in _____"

Once you're finally ready you go outside and walk up the sidewalk to the cafe where Chuuya is already waiting “hey gorgeous ready for our date?” He says smirking like he just won an award.He opens the door for you as the familiar smell of coffee and baked goods flood your senses,it's warm, you already like the location choice as Chuuya makes it better by pulling your chair for you to sit down.Once you two get to chatting a familiar sound reaches your ear playing from the radio,its a song,It’s YOUR song.The read on your cheeks made it obvious you were somewhat embarrassed as soon as the song played which brung Chuuyas banter to a halt trying to find out what was wrong with you. Did you not like the food? HxH Reread Chapters 8 - 14

• Biggest question is why anyone would run this exam without pay? (Aside from Hisoka the Lunatic and Tonpa the Weird, that is)

• Love how the first things established about Killua are his conflicting desires for a) competition, a way to prove his skills (perhaps the lingering touch of the Zoldyck pressure, a need to prove yourself worthy of the name); and b) his desire for safety. Here, for example, he tells Gon to stay close as someone he feels he can compete with confidence that he'll emerge without any serious harm, whereas he runs from Hisoka knowing he's a threat.

• Simultaneously, Gon demonstrates his perception and ability to judge a person's character as he instinctively denies Killua's admittedly accurate claim that he's like Hisoka despite only knowing him for two hours.

• Woahh, Leorio withstood a direct card attack from Hisoka? Really sad they cut this out in the anime because it's a pretty cool thing to note indicating that he really is Hunter material to have gotten through to this stage, and also adds some reasoning to why Hisoka lets him "pass" aside from just showing reckless bravery which doesn't seem to be the kind of thing Hisoka would approve of unless it's substantiated by some hidden physical strength.

• Speaking of which, I do like the rather crazed look Hisoka has when killing people. I think I personally prefer the anime's serene depiction of this atrocious clown as it's a bit more chilling but there's definitely merit to the sheer insanity emanating from his maniacal laugh.

• Not that I think it makes a significant difference, but it is interesting that the manga has a rando next to Leorio and Kurapika who survived Hisoka's initial onslaught and is actually the one who came up with the plan to run in the first place. It's nice to see that even our rational blonde is so startled at the sheer force that is Hisoka that he just follows the plan without any monologuing.

• The dialogue above is about Hisoka but I think it offers an interesting framework to view transmuters in the series, specifically Hisoka, Bisky, and Killua. All three individuals rely heavily on their instincts (as Bisky says at one point, she herself has lied so much in her life she can tell instantly when she's in the presence of someone else who's faking something) and they're quite adept at judging people (Hisoka's the one who came up with the nen-MBTI test which is, more often than not, quite aligned with the characters we see). That said, perhaps because of the efficacy of their own judgement, these characters find it especially hard to take someone else's word for it unless they themselves are thrown in the face of the facts themselves. For example, Silva told Killua to stay away from the Phantom Troupe but Killua doesn't truly consider that advice as legitimate until he's staring down Machi and Nobunaga first hand. There's a similar concept behind Killua finding it so hard to break away from the instinctive feeling of fear telling him to flee.

• It's interesting that the first person who has ever judged Gon's strength/potential specifically with no knowledge of his relation to Ging is Hisoka. In turn, Gon liked the excitement of that pressure, of being judged and deemed worthy, of fighting for Leorio's safety and feeling useful which are all things he is looking for in his journey.

• I think it's a pretty sweet moment when Kurapika tells Gon to keep the incident with Hisoka silent knowing it would undoubtedly worsen Leorio's mood by making him feel incapable, but I can't tell if saying the following is his genuine attempt of comfort or just another one of his roasts 😭 (Second two are def insults--Kurapika's a mood for sure):

• I wish we got to see more of these interesting subsects of hunters like the gourmet hunters or the disease hunters later on…if we do make it to the Dark Continent, I hope these characters and professions take the spotlight since we spend much of the story taking a look at the overarching ideology of a Hunter but not necessarily their day to day lives which would be fun to investigate

• Hanzo is such a dork—I can’t believe they made him so serious in the anime:

• They really changed this part of the exam a lot in 2011's adaptation. Not that I think the anime version is horrible, but I wonder why since the sushi element really helps its characters shine. Like, for example, we see Kurapika falter despite having an advantage due to his weirdly widespread knowledge (seriously, what books is this guy reading to learn about such random, specific things that no one else knows like cultural chastity symbols and the ingredients in a foreign dish) because it doesn't occur to him that Menchi could be judging arbitrarily and not as a proper examiner. Granted, he's not wrong to expect her to be as reasonable as the...er, highly functional and esteemed establishment that employed her (okay, maybe he should have guessed), but it does illustrate a blind spot in his logic that comes from the unexpected he can't prepare for beforehand.

• It's a really small moment but I love this panel where this guy who devalued gourmet hunting coming around to really appreciating not just the danger involved in the craft but the merit of its product and someone else's treasure. Just a bit of heart added to the story!

• I wonder why Menchi came around to liking Hanzo after yelling at him during the exam and blaming him for her decision to fail the entire cohort. Power of sushi, I guess. Similarly, it's an interesting tidbit that Killua was Satotz's favorite...no clue why though.

• Love the reiteration from Satotz that it's the Hunt that fulfills the hunter's Desires, not the item itself that they're searching for. I know I keep harking back on Ging's advice at the end of the election arc but it's such a coherent throughline embedded into the story. It's a little ironic, even, that Gon becomes a hunter to look for Ging, but only truly becomes a hunter when he embraces this mindset after he's lost his nen and comes to stop idolizing his father. (Sidenote: Hisoka is one of the character I think best embodies the Hunter philosophy even though, as Kurapika says, he's incredibly blood thirsty and has no tangible goal he's seeking aside from self-fulfillment.)

• I love how Killua admits he throws on this aloof cute-child act so no one ever gets close enough to know what he's actually serious and cares about. It's a defensive mechanism to prevent his enemies (or his family, really; looking at you Illumi) from finding out what matters to him as they could use it as a threat to force his obedience. But Gon is able to detect when he's lying or not, knowing that he's not quite like Hisoka although his family are assassins (in fact, Gon probably guessed, although he might not know why, that Killua threw out this statement to gauge his reaction). And because Gon is listening completely unbiased (and this is part of his ambiguous morality coming in, because Gon straight up doesn't care that Killua's a murderer so long as it's of his free will and he hasn't done anything to Gon or his friends specifically), Killua starts to feel more comfortable letting his guard down around Gon throughout the story and revealing his true self

• Is the echo rhythm just a movement technique kind of like Assassination Classroom's stun clap, or is it an application of nen that Killua uses without knowing he's using it (like Gon using zetsu before he knew what aura was)? I feel like this instance might be the former, but the claw sharpening thing seems a little too biologically strange to not be a nen-based application in my opinion.

• I stand corrected from chapter 2, we do see Kurapika voluntarily sleeping at least once more!

• Killua giving off Hiei vibes here, tbh. He really does have a lot of similarities to Hisoka like the intrinsic bloodlust and need for challenge.

Himeko:

Okay, honestly, if it were from my point of view, Himeko would find you so adorable due to your bubbly, yet calm personality

When she first took you in, on the express, she didn't know you were a Glitter Warrior, but when she found out, she was visibly shocked (she was a bit worried for your safety but you reassured her that you'll be fine!)

She was really curious about how you could transform, how you became so strong.

"Wait, but how does this all work?" Himeko speaks while carefully inspecting you. "Well, it's all magic from my Glitter charm and Glitter pad!"

"Ohh, so that's the source of your power?" You hand her your Glitter pad as she then takes it and inspects it, then hands it back to you.

March 7th

Ohoho you're in for a bigger surprise when March finds out you're a Glitter Warrior.

Her eyes literally sparkle with excitment, i mean like, you follow the path of preservation aswell?? You ALSO like sparkles and glitter? It's like you're made for eachother!

She is so eager to know more about your powers.

"[Name]? Is that actually you?" March quickly runs towards you after you helped her fight a Void ranger, placing her hands on your shoulder, inspecting you, surprised and eager. "In flesh and bone!" Her eyes sparkle "woahh you look so cool and-and pretty! I mean you already are pretty!" You just let out a chuckle at her statements.

In conclusion, you both are made for eachother, either romantically either as bestfriends. (She's the head of trouble and you just help her! <3)

Stelle

Stelle wasn't really surpirsed, she knew something was up with you, especially after she saw you talk with your "plushie" (ifykyk what i mean).

She liked the idea of you two being a team, even as strong as you are, with your shields she still liked protecting you.

"Stelle! Watch out!" Stelle looks behind her as a reaver is ready to strike her, but you were quick to act. "Insert Glitter charm! Clover Reflection!" You manage to ward off the blow with your clover-shaped shield. Stelle quickly takes down the reaver, thanking you in the process. "Thanks for helping me there, [Name]." You look at her with a confused expression, "you're not surprised?" "Honestly i knew something was different about you"

Deep inside she was actually surprised at your strength.

Caelus

Ah, yes Caelus, the same as Stelle, unsurprised, he already knew about your little secret, but dw he won't tell anyone. <3

Unlike him, you didn't like digging through trash, so you were visibly horrified seeing him dig through trash.

Even if you were visibly disturbed by it, you remained calm. Grabbing him by the hood of his jacket.

Caelus was digging through trash, as usual, but it was the first time you saw him do it. "CAELUS!" He then redirects his attention to you, replying unfazed of the situation. "Yeah?" "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? DO YOU KNOW HOW UNSANITARY IT IS?!" you quickly grab him by his hood and pull him away. "Wait- Hey!" He knew you were a Glitter Warrior but he wasn't expecting you to be this strong. He had to blackmail you into letting him continue his "treasure" hunt. "If you don't let me go, i'll tell everybody about your little secret." You tried playing dumb, but it didn't work so you ended up letting him go.

He's a bit of a prick but it's okay, cuz it's Caelus. <3

Herta

You're her new favourite "testing subject", she wouldn't actually try to hurt you. <3

She's gonna keep pestering you about it all! She really wants to know if your Glitter pad and charm are curios or if they're relics. She wants to know how you got them, who gave them to you or where you found them.

"sooo, [Name], how did you get those curio-relics?" Herta asks you on a curios yet mischiveous tone. "Madam Herta, you know i can't tell you." You keep walking towards your destination, as Herta wraps her puppet hand around your wrist trying to stop you. "Oh, cmon, can't you even give me a hint?" You sigh, knowing that there was no escape from her. "No, no i can't." Herta rolls her eyes annoyed that you wouldn't tell her. "Ugh, can you at least come test the Simulated Universe once more?"

Dan Heng

Even tho, Dan Heng doesn't seem surprised, he is very shocked deep inside, trying his best not to show that.

Now, he tries his best not to let March know, she knows how to get anything out of him, no matter what it is.

"[Name]?" You heard that same monotone voice, from behind you. You were transformed. And he caught you, on the luofu, you were helping some cloud knights with two mara-struck. "O-oh! Hey Dan Heng!" Dan Heng walks over to you. "So, you're not what you say you are," you looked away a bit ashamed for holding such a secret away from your bestfriend/ s/o. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." He places a hand on your shoulder reassuringly.

Welt Yang

Oh boy, Welt never really expected this from you, since you're usually calm. But he never knew how angry you could get..

When a halfway infected mara-struck called Welt an old man and refused his help, you couldn't hold back your rage and anger, you ended up beating the mara-struck into a fetal position, Welt had to yank you off of 'em..

"i don't need your help, you old man." The mara-struck spoke on a hateful tone. "I-" you then cut off Welt, "How dare you be so rude to Mr. Yang? He is trying to help you and you just refuse it and insult him?!" Walking towards the mara-struck, cracking your knuckles, a few minutes later, you were kicking the poor mara-struck until it was crying on the ground, curled up in a ball. Welt then wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you and dragging you away from the mara-struck.

Her Shinigami eyes could actually cause SO many issues for ninja in general. No disguise ever works on her bc she can see your name !! You can not go undercover with this bitch around she'll catch you near instantly!!

Also her being able to see peoples lifespans would fuck so hard there too, what a party trick to pull. I want her to push someone to do some insane shit while going "nah don't worry you won't die for another few months at least so you'll be fine!! :)"

I don't think she came w the death note itself just bc I don't think Misa could prevent someone from taking it from her and it's way too OP to deal with the logistics of what having it just out there in the world would actually mean. Pretty much any naruto character gets it and the story ends in like 3 minutes flat

I know that there are shinigami in Naruto canon, tho I'm not too familiar w the specifics.

Either way, it could be cool if we really got into Misa's relation to them— she can see them with her eyes already, maybe she can sense them too. She's like being drawn to different artifacts and prisons of shinigami, she can sense them from far away and they call to her ooOOoOoo

She ends up freeing that one specific shinigami from the mask or whatevers going on w that. And since she already has the eyes from Rem, instead of going "oh, thanks lmao *kills you*" when freed, they recognize that shes already been claimed by a shinigami and are like "Oh shit, nice contract blondie." and she has an actual opening to talk to them (and maybe get another funky death god contract along the way)

Misa continues to show she has unstoppable, unbeatable shinigami rizz even into the next dimension. They all want her.

(If nothing else, naruto world has PROVEN that if u roll high enough on a charisma stat, you can convince anyone of literally anything, no matter if it was like the driving force of their entire life since they were 5 or whatever. So why shouldn't Misa get to talk shinigami into liking her just by being violently friendly?? No really, why not??)

Shes collecting death contracts like Pokémon cards, causing actual fucking havoc everywhere she goes via unleashing ancient evils for deals for some of their power (thanks Misa!!)

She doesn't know how to fucking fight tho, she's a 2000's goth girl in chunky heels. She's getting by on her insanely high charisma stats, good luck, and the giant shinigami only she can see standing directly behind her with a giant baseball bat waiting for someone to get close enough to hit

Could be cool if her shinigami eyes let her see yokai in general too, and just say there weren't enough back in modern Japan to notice. But there's TONS around now and Misa is making little kissy faces at them trying to be friends

Her eyes keep her safe by marking her as already claimed by a shinigami, also making most yokai reguard her as one of them. That could also maybe be used to get her places she shouldn't be in / have weaknesses a normal guy doesn't

Like, seals designed for yokai work on her too

Her eyes need to be mistaken for sharingan at LEAST once and it must cause as many problems as possible.

It'd be neat if Rem was there too. Maybe Misa collecting all this power from different shinigami is actually in some quest to bring Rem back, via giving her that power she got from the other shinigami. She's like roaming the land in an effort to get as much power as possible to make Rem a new body or smthn.

The rules of how shinigami exist and are allowed to interact with the mortal plane is different than the rules where Misa is from, so there's like tons of wiggle room for creativity n "woahh I didn't know you could do that!!"

Misa herself is such a go with the flow morally grey gal w a very clear potential and allowance for absoloute insanity— I think she'd be super down with joining whoever just happens to be the first person she meets in Naruto world. Like. She bumps into the Akatsuki first? You KNOW she's gonna join in. She happens to land near Konoha first? Hell yeah she's loving the funky ninja village! Military dictatorship? Fine by her!

Shes so undying loyal, no matter how clearly wrong or deranged the object of her affection is. So whoever earns that affection first is gonna keep it p much the whole way through (honestly this world is just lucky she's still hung up on Light, which is why she still has sommee agency here)

I think the most interesting thing to do w her + what parallels her story best would be joining Akatsuki actually. Cmon, a terrorist organization "dedicated to peace" (through murder) she's so there for it, she's asking to pretty please help bc "Light would probably like it <33"

Also the Akatsuki cloak is like the only naruto outfit I can see her really rocking while keeping her signature style. ALSO also, Akatsuki nailpolish code,,,,

"Woahh, Ani do you see this," you say as you step onto moving stairs. "It's magic!"

"Let me try," he says as you go higher up. He cautiously takes a step onto the magic step. He puts his other foot on and grins.

"We should get this for home when I'm too tired to walk up the stairs," you suggest.

You both go down the one that slides lower, when you come up with an idea.

"What do you think happens if we go up the down one?"

"I'm not sure," he ponders for a moment, "but I want to try," he says with a giddy smile.

You start walking on it and notice it didn't change directions. "Whoever gets to the top first wins," you say starting to run up. You and Anakin race up and you just made it to the top when you hear a yelp.

You turn and notice Ani bumping into people. "Sorry! Sorry, excuse me!"

A minute later, a panting Anakin makes it to your laughing self. "Not funny," he huffs. "I almost fell down"

You both then walked to another store you saw. There was glass blocking the enterence though.

As Anakin stepped to knock on the glass, it suddenly opened making you both gasp. He turns his head to you, "I didn't know the Force was here," he says confused.

You pull him back and watch the door close. You push him forward again and the glass slides open.

"Wow, Ani! It likes you," you wink.

He rolls his eyes, "who wouldn't," you slap the back of his head at his cockiness.

You drag him inside as he intertwines his fingers with yours. You walk through the store with food. You come across an isle called Baking Supplies.

"What do you think this is for?" you ask him, holding up a bag with 'flour' written on it.

"Maybe they put it in the food. We should take it with us," he replies.

"Okay, we could ask Obi-Wan about it when we get back home. Do you think it will open in the ship?"

"Let's test it," he says before dropping the bag. You watch it drop and break open as powder flies everywhere and covers you both. The two of you start coughing and wave your hands in front of you.

"Good job, Ani. Look what mess you've made," you said placing a hand on your his and wiping powder off your eyes.

"It's not my fault it's bad quality," he mumbles. You dust the two of you off the best that you could manage.

"Let's go somewhere else," you say.

"HAH!" you should as you shoot Anakin.

"You lost and I won fair and square, so hush," you smirk.

"You cheated," he whines, "I wasn't ready"

"You are so adorable when you are a sore loser, my love," you boop his nose.

You two had come across a place called "Laser Tag", and Anakin dragged you in after seeing the cool lights.

You and him eliminated all the other players due to your fighting experience, you snuck up on Anakin and shot him in the back.

"This game isn't fun anymore," he pouts. You kiss his lips quick before you pull him along with you to find something else to do.

As you were walking through the mall, you saw people sitting and looking at a little box - that's what it looked like.

You glance at Anakin whose arm was around your shoulder, "what do you think those are?"

He looks to what your staring at, "I don't know, why don't you go and ask?"

"Okay, I'll be back in a minute," you say stepping away from him and towards some people who seem around your age.

"Excuse me," you say grabbing their attention. "Me and my boyfriend," you start and point your finger at him, "were wondering that thing in your hand is," you finish.

They just stare at you like you have two heads. "You mean... a phone?"

"A phone?" you repeat.

"Yeah...?"

"Well what does it do?"

"I- uh- it allows you to communicate with people, and you can do pretty much anything on it," one person explains.

"How fascinating! Can you really do anything on that little box?"

"Phone," a girl corrects, "and not everything," she tells you.

"Let me get my boyfriend, and then can you show us some stuff?" you question the boy next to you.

"Uh- yeah sure," you smile at him and drag Anakin towards the boy. He then spends about twenty minutes showing you and Anakin some things on the magic cube.

You thank them and head somewhere else.

"My brain hurts," Anakin says, dramatically holding his head. You and him were very confused from the 'phone'. It was too complicated for you both.

"Mine too," you pat his back.

Anakin saw a big plant and pulled you behind it with him.

"We should scare people, we could jump out when they walk by," he grins at you.

"Great idea," you high five him.

You two scared at least 15 people until you saw a person wearing a 'security' outfit running towards you both.

He almost grabbed Anakin's collar but you were faster.

You quickly grab Ani's hand and pull him as you start running. Both of your laughs fill the mall hallways as you run away. You both turn back just in time to see the man slip on something.

You both burst out laughing again as you sneak away.

You turn and lean your back against a wall, the two of you catching your breath.

"Th- that was s- so amazing," he gets out between pants and laughs.

You enter a clothing shop with some items for cold weather. You throw a bunch of scarfs on you both as you giggle and dance with Anakin in your silly outfits to the music that was playing.

You throw a hat on him and bow down at him. "You look dashing," you say.

"Why thank you, my lady. You don't look bad yourself," he obnoxiously winks at you.

"I have to agree with you on that, Skywalker," you blow him a kiss in the mirror you two were looking at yourselves in.

Ignoring the weird looks you got from people around you, you both continue to do some fun poses in the mirror.

You two accidentally walked into a store with some interesting pieces of clothing, specifically ones that go under your clothes.

You look at Anakin as he turns red.

He has seen you without clothes plenty of times, which made how embarrassed he was funny.

"I- uh- um- next place," he stutters over his words as you laugh and wrap your arm around his waist.

You were getting ready to leave when you and him see people walk in into a small cube room, you see the doors shut and wonder what it was.

"Ani lets go to that before we leave," you smile up at him.

"Do we push the button?" he asks staring at the two buttons on the wall.

"I guess so," you shrug pushing the bottom one.

The doors open and you step inside with him as they shut.

"Where do you think this takes us," he wonders aloud.

"I'm not sure, guess it's a surprise," you grin.

A few moments later the doors open, you notice it's by the entrance you came in through.

"Oh! It's like another type of stair, Ani," you realize.

"I suppose it is... I got to say I am a bit disappointed, I though it would take us somewhere cool," he sighs. You nod your head and the two of you leave to go back to where you were staying. You would be coming back here soon.
