I will admit the first seasons of MyStreet and Phoenix Drop High are a little hard to take seriously with Jess doing most of the voices and having very little animation budget, but the writing is still pretty good and Love~Love Paradise has been great so far on the rewatch!

I actually sent my friend the Meeting FC clip from PDH without context and he couldn’t stop laughing because of how dramatic it was while also being in Minecraft XD

Anime / Manga !

i love anime and manga. ive grown up with it ever since i was around 5. i would stay up on saturday nights till 7 am when inuyasha would start playing on adult swim. if i was ever too tired i would record the episode on our dvr and would watch it after getting home from kindergarten. crazy age to watch inuyasha but i always found it so cool.

also grew up on naruto. i am such a naruto nerd i have rewatched the og and shippuden so many times i can tell people which episode events happened, i can sing the openings in order, i can name most characters, etc. the naruto brainrot is bad. same thing with bleach and dragonball z. the new bleach has me so hyped i loved watching every episode made me want to rewatch the main series but i have no time so i just watch small clips here and there.

i love just about every genre of anime tbh. sports animes (baki, hajime no ippo, kengan asura, one outs, eyeshield 21, etc). idol animes (idolish 7, tsukiuta, tsukipro, etc). shounen, mystery, shoujo, literally everything. i have to be in a certain mood to watch mech animes but whenever one comes out that catches my eye i put all my energy into watching it. i think the only genre i dont enjoy much is isekai, i used to like them but new ones come out too often i cant keep up.

Cars !

my day to day guilty pleasure is cars. i love cars. they are cool, go fast, go stutututu, whine, be loud, have cool lights, i love everything about a good car.

i have a brz! bought it myself and it is my pride adn joy. it is one of my favorite cars and when i bought it in november i literally cried. I drive manual and its so fun to me! i want to learn how to drift but im a bit nervous because i dont want to accidentally mess up anything in my car.

Reading !

i love books i love reading. i love fiction, sci-fi, philosophy, nonfiction, fanfiction, everything. I was never into books like harry potter and anything with too many magical elements in them but always loved horror and more mystery thriller books.

i have been dying to buy more physical books to add to my mini library in my room but theres a few books on my backlog i need to complete before i do that.

i also have a slowly growing manga collection that i desperately need to add to.

i read all day all night on my phone but the feeling of flipping real pages is so satisfying and having the weight of a book in my bag is just so nice.

Music !

not to toot my own horn but my spotify wrapped minutes is always 140k+. i listen to music all day everyday. while doing homework, reading, driving, working, in class (pay attention dont be like me), watching stuff it doesnt matter. i have a terrible habit of getting bored of something very easily so i always multitask and need 20 things happening at the same time so music is amazing at keeping me focused.

i love 'underground archive', rnb, krnb, jpop, citypop, lofi, rap, edm, literally a whole lot of stuff. i dont like pop that much ive grown to realize same with country, i can listen to it but only if someone else wants to.

Hi! I've been taking a break from the internet because I need to study + work and barely had time for other things and now that I am slowly coming back to tumblr and to fandom stuff...

here's what ive been up to:

The Sandman - watching the whole thing took me 2 weeks and im still obsessed. Everything I MEAN EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. The cast are all beautiful and gave good performance. The series gave me like it's a lovechild of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock and Good Omens and im eating it all up. SEASON 2 RENEWAL WHERE ART THOU?

The Rehearsal - watched this bc I was hyperfixating so much on The Sandman and I wanted to finish some of my IMDB watchlist. Found this on my recommendation instead and got intrigued bc it has a high rating 8.2 and man MY BRAIN AND MY SOUL AND MY EMOTIONS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE WHEN I FINISHED THIS SERIES. My mom watched with me and so she's been questioning a lot of things since we finished it.

Allu Arjun - I am still continuing my Tarak and RC watchlist and someone so kindly recommended me Allu Arjun films. I started with Pushpa 1 and it's just *chef's kiss*. WHY ALL TELUGU MEN SO HOT? YALL BLESSED SRSLY

SS Rajamouli - Idk if someone shares my sentiment towards this man but I'm falling hard for him. gahd he's the ultimate dilf dilf dilf in my list and it's about time it has to be said. and ofc, ive been following his interviews in TIFF.

Nathan For You - a show I decided to watch bc I cannot get over The Rehearsal (bc both are from the same writer/creator). Watching this show, made me realized, I haven't laughed a good laugh since the covid shenanigans started and my lack of social skills cannot even complement that.

Nathan Fielder - oh man! Since I saw The Rehearsal and Nathan For You, of which the shows he created and written, there is something about Nathan I cannot truly point out clearly but for me he was so attractive and sexy and his like ultimate boyfriend material - it's really not about his physicality or looks IT'S THE WAY HE THINKS! He's like the Sherlock Holmes in our current reality and it's a dream of mine to have him. Idk why but i feel my awkwardness and his truly match and his comedic stance is so relateable like I want to see Richard Ayoade and Nathan Fielder in one room for god's sake. Community - I think I can call myself a comedy show enthusiast but if there's another term for that then yeah I am that! So I just finished my rewatch of B99 and I went ahead to start Community and oh man - this series is hilarious. I still prefer The Office or Parks and Rec or other BritCom shows but it's refreshing to watch something new. Also I'm crushing so hard on Abed Nadir (Danny Pudi)

That is pretty much it! Next thing might be my GOT watch bc I want to watch HOTD so bad but I have to watch the og series first. Planning to also get into LOTR:ROP as I loved the book and the films (LOTR and The Hobbit) so I might alternate them so I can keep up.

Last Film - I just saw Don’t Worry Darling. I didn’t hate it! The filmmaker in me really liked how a lot of it was shot and edited.  I think it had some major plot holes and could have been bulked up a lot to move quicker and scarier, but it was okay.  there were these teens in the audience obnoxiously laughing the whole time trying to make it clear they were hate watching it, so I think in return im purposely finding all the good bits cause I hate when people go in hating something cause the media told them to.

Current obsession: .....oh well. Many. A lot. Too many? Yes. While my Ac and Hoa obsessions currently calmed down im in for the CoD fandom thanks to my friends, also im hyped for the new Castelvania series, my House of the Dragon obsession slowly comes back as I see news from the next season, with the Ahsoka show debuting too.....yeah im scattered. OH AND GHOST OF TSUSHIMAAA AND I WILL MAKE SURE THE PEOPLE AROUND ME KNOW IT LMFAOOO other non fandom related obsessions are gardening (i have potatos, cucumbers, peas, peppers and flowers currently), doing my thesis itsnotactually pottery (im making silly little clay figurines for myself) and cooking/baking when i have the opportunity of course. All in all i am a mess and i need to fix myslef before the semester starts at least a little bit so the knowledge can stick in my thicc skull lol

Currently reading: Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, which is one of my all time favourites. Also, making my way through @aeide ‘s Kassidas fic, Exile, by increments, when the brain will allow 😊

Currently watching: I’m having a musician biopic spell, so to speak; the unexpected fave so far is Nowhere Boy, loosely about John Lennon’s early years, mostly around the relationships with his mother and aunt who raised him. I have no idea how accurate it is, but what a story regardless.

Current obsession(s): the Black Keys (again); Alexithenes [the ship] (again); sitting in the sun (when there’s sun to be had); and this new trick I’ve learnt with my schnauzer, where if I face dive onto my bed, he immediately flips onto his back and starts writhing around like a lunatic. It’s hilarious.

I literally can’t stay focused on one ship at a time, especially not this anime season. Bleach alone got three updated selfships @@ for anyone curious, this is the current anime ships: BLEACH - Uryu Ishida (dont talk to me he’s my first major husband and why Im obsessed with glasses men now) - Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (ye im basic, I was and am obsessed like everyone else) - Ikkaku Madarame (now that ive overcome the bald barrier, i realize i actually always really liked him whoops) Mob Psycho 100 - Sakurai + Koyama (fairly minor ship, I’m just a sucker for glasses/delinquent triangles. and I just love Mob Psycho so fyucking much) Golden Kamuy - OGATA HYAKUNOSUKE YOU LIL PIECE OF SHIT CAT MAN I LOVE YOU Im losing my mind over this series again idk how many times ive reread and rewatched it but IM DOIN IT AGAIN (lets not even mention One Piece making a comeback with that really fuckin good movie or mention RWBY/Bungo Stray Dogs that I’ve watched in the last couple months. Or how I’ve been slowly getting back on FFXIV)
