Because I'm a rascal, but also because I really enjoyed the last round of questions: your favorite Chenford *scene* from each season. Only one scene (plus one honorable mention) allowed per season!

Rascal seems like a bit of an understatement!!! The way my brain broke reading this...

This was an interesting exercise. Some were super easy to answer, and some I stewed over for a long time... and I surprised myself with some of my picks actually!

Season 1 This was tricky, but I have to give it to the between-the-wall heart-to-heart in 1x20. The vulnerability is just next level, and this scene is iconic for a reason. I'd argue that this is the first time we can say with absolute certainty that their relationship is more than just TO and rookie.

Season 1 Honorable Mention: The scene in the shop outside Isabel's apartment in 1x03. It's the first time we see Lucy breaking down Tim's walls. She really shows her empathy here, and he responds with a vulnerability he hasn't allowed with anyone else. They've only been riding together for a few weeks (?) and somehow Lucy knows what he needs, gives him that safe space and a compassion he clearly hasn't seen in a long. time. It's a beautiful showcase of their dynamic together, but also reveals so much about them as individuals.

Season 2 Oh god, oh god, oh god. This is hands-down the hardest season to choose in, because it's my favourite one, and it's home to some of the most iconic scenes. In the end, I had to go with their exchange in the gym at the end of 2x12. In general this episode is one of my favourites, but this scene is so powerful. We see Lucy working through things, taking out her frustration, trying to channel her strength, to get back to herself. And somehow in that moment, Tim manages to make her smile. He opens up to her in a way we've never seen him do before, and most of all, he reminds her how strong she is. UGH, this scene makes me scream in the best possible way.

Season 2 Honorable Mention: Now that I've picked a favourite, second place is easy—their conversation in 2x17. I've always loved it so much, because between the teasing and the banter, we see this beautiful vulnerability as they talk about the Caleb of it all. It's truly a perfect showcase of their dynamic and everything I love about them. Shit, maybe this is my favourite season 2 scene? AHHHHH IDK

Season 3 I have to go with this scene from the end of 3x09. Hello, excuse me Timothy do you see how you're looking at her????? Also the fact that he dismissed Lucy's comments about missing riding with her earlier in their shift, meanwhile he had already specifically written just that??? AGJLAERGJALGJRLA It's becoming quite clear that my favourite scenes are the ones that I feel most embody their dynamic, and this is no exception—the perfect mix of playful and soft.

Season 3 Honorable Mention: At the wedding venue in 3x14, duh. THE TUX. THE GREEN DRESS. "Save me a dance." HELP HELP HELP *faints*

Season 4 This was was actually pretty easy for me, it's 4x01, the scene at Tim's house. The fact that Tim not only invited her into his space, he practically insisted. Seeing Lucy wearing his clothes, seeing them together, not just outside of work, but in a very intimate space (at a very vulnerable time)???? That hug?? (That look??!?!) THAT HUG?!?!?!! The way Lucy just melts into him is the visualization of what we'd known for so long—that he's her safe space. (And she's his.) UGH, my heart. The entire exchange just felt so damn hopeful, like one of the first real hints that there was something more bubbling under the surface.

Season 4 Honorable Mention: While that kiss in 4x22 was so exciting, I have to give it to the scene outside the hospice. The vulnerability we see between them here, seeing Lucy be Tim's safe space—it's such an incredible parallel to 4x01.

Season 5 HANDS HANDS HANDS. This one was also an easy pick, because I think this is my favourite moment EVERRRRRRRRRRR. The way any trace of Jake/Dim vanishes in that moment, and all we're left with is Tim and his visceral need to check in with Lucy, to be that grounding force for her, to remind her that she's here, she's safe, and she's strong. It's just everything.

Season 5 Honorable Mention: While my #1 scene in this season is easy, it's incredibly hard to pick just one honorable mention. I waffled between the super hot kiss on the plane in 5x01, and the vulnerability in their exchanges in 5x21, and so many other great options... But I think I'd have to say that cold open in 5x10 when we see them getting ready for their date—that whole thing just perfectly embodies everything I love about them. The teasing, the banter, the comfort level between them, the best friend energy, how damn happy they are. It's just so fun and so them and makes me giddy every time I watch it.

I can't wait to see which scene will top my list for season 6... as of now it's obviously this one (I just want to watch this again, so here you go!)

It occurs to him how far he has come as he takes it all in, his eyes surely wide as saucers at the display of grandeur before him. Men and women alike dressed in finest fabrics and the brightest of colours, servants bustling about with more wine and delicacies for the Princess and her guests.

Years ago the people of Hawkins took it upon themselves to chase him out of the city, and not even the Princess’s grace and friendship were enough to make him stay where he clearly was not wanted. And now here he is — highly requested bard and dearly welcome guest, he has He cannot help but feel vindicated and proud, having spited Hawkins and her people like this, sailed with pirates and travelled with adventures, learned from merchants and sung for emperors.

All of it to show this city that he is more. That he is better.

And yet, as much as he wants the walls that surround the city to drip with his every success, as much as he wants to cover them in writing of every praiseful word uttered about him and his craft, he cannot — will not — sing tonight.

And Hawkins will be the victor once more.

How I feel about this character:

I love him (no one should be surprised)! More specifically, I remember watching the show back in the day and thinking, "Wow, he's really fuckin creepy, I'm getting Slade vibes." By the end of Bitter Reunions he had unironocally become my favorite character and I'd get excited any time a Vlad episode came on. I almost always wind up loving the villains more than the MC. He's creepy, he's scary, he's pathetic, and sad, and scared, and everything in between! How can I not love him?

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Almost exclusively Danny, but also a little bit of Jack, and with Valerie and Danny in a polyship.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Jack Fenton! Vlad will never escape Jack's unconditional love and friendship.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

I'm just gonna quietly admit here that I hate hate hate the babygirl thing people do with characters, and that extends to my villains, but especially Vlad. To each their own and all that, but it annoys me to no end.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this:

I wish Danny had actually become legitimately scared of Vlad at some point. I know it's a kids' show, and I know that Danny is supposed to be the snappy hero who triumphs every episode, but one of the reasons I like The Ultimate Enemy episode so much is because Danny technically fails. Had Clockwork not had a soft spot for him, Danny wpuld have lost everything in that episode and only "wins" on a technicality. Up til then, he develops a legit fear of his future self, and we see more of this in the GN.

Vlad is someone who has had nothing but time to hone his skills, and Danny struggles to fight him multiple times throughout the show, and it can be inferred that Vlad is going easy on him, especially when Kindred Spirits rolls around and he punches through solid concrete trying to capture Danny. "Funny, ha-ha Vlad isn't here today" - that is a horrifying line. Danny would have failed in this episode, too, if not for Danielle having a change of heart when Vlad reveals his true colors, and I would have loved for this to be the time when Danny actually starts to realize that, "oh wait! Vlad's scary as fuck, and I still have a long way to go to reach his level!"

But once again, snappy/quippy kids show, hero's gotta win.

a headcanon fact:

I don't know how much of a headcanon it is, especially since we get hints of it in canon and now in the GN, but Vlad is possessive af. Of items, of people - once he's claimed them, they're his, and he won't let them go for any reason, and he lives in constant fear of losing them. Maybe it's a result of losing his best friends after the portal incident. Maybe it has something to do with being half-ghost, but this man has a constant undercurrent of fear lying just below the surface, and when threatened, he responds with anger, claws and fangs bared to the world, ready to lash out and blame everyone for everything but never himself.

A lot of people have their Revans and exiles be really close friends back in the Jedi Order, but when I played the games I never read it like that. I just thought Zena was an unlucky soul who got talent scouted to be a General lol. So I kept it that way cause I thought it was interesting.

BUT because they did know one another and worked closely enough during the Mando Wars, they kind of fall back into familiar patterns with one another despite Zena now being a very capable leader on her own. Revan's whole ideology is "it's my way or the highway" and Zena's is "I don't want to upset anyone and they probably know best anyway" (my poor girl). they get very pseudo-relationshippy during the Unknown Regions post Kotor 2, but a toxic relationship because my Revan is a huge manipulator and my exile has no self esteem to really recognize that she's being treated as a tool for Revan's army again.

So if they were to be a thing, I'd imagine it would look very similar to that, but official lol. It's how I see Revan treating Malak when they became really invested in the war...(Suddenly I fear for Zena's jaw 😭)

7: a film in your native language

this is truly a chance for me to rec Anything (in english) so i'll say my most beloveds scrapper and theater camp! they're both lovely lovely movies. i realise i should start adding plot summaries to these so. scrapper follows a 12-year-old girl living alone (by fooling social services) after her mum dies, until her dad (played by harris dickinson for the trust fx fans out there) shows up suddenly. that sounds like it's gonna be dramatic and maybe sad but its SO so delightful and colorful and full of heart. please watch scrapper it's a little british indie thing that's super special to me

theater camp is about a, well, a theater camp, after its founder falls into a coma and her idiot finance bro son has to try and run it. hysterically funny. got ayo edebiri and molly gordon from the bear and also a cast of kids who are just so so fun!!! never fails to make me happy ive never wanted to applaud a film more. pure cinematic joy

12: a film whose main genre is horror/thriller

i am NOT a horror person generally but one i do adore is the devil's backbone. guillermo del toro film that is like pan's labyrinth's little brother to me. deals with a group of kids of (i think) spanish resistance fighters in a home, and also there's a ghost. great if you like somewhat sympathetic ghosts as manifestations of trauma and also movies where fascism is the villain. it and pan's labyrinth (which some do consider a horror film i think? but this is more overt with it) are both so good i love em

20: a film where the vibes are immaculate

i could answer this with scrapper or theater camp but i am taking "vibes are immaculate" as "movies i could live in" so i'm gonna answer perfect days, which is a movie of pretty much nothing BUT vibes that is also one of the most wonderful things i've seen all year so far. follows a toilet cleaner in tokyo just going about his life. really special cinema experience and the kind of movie to get entirely lost in. just made everything feel more beautiful when i got out of the cinema! though it's very slow and not a lot happens plot or tension wise so it's not gonna be for everyone

the star: whats something, spell/media/charm etc, that calms you or cheers you up? - so I have a personal sigil I use when my anxiety is out of control (but haven't had to in awhile, yay me). I game a lot, so whatever game I'm playing at the moment is usually my go to if I'm grouchy.

the moon: whats a rumor you heard that you arent sure is true or not? - I'm actually pretty sure this one is true because I heard it from the horse's mouth, but a friend at work is switching positions. She thought it was because her new supervisor requested her specifically, but apparently the decision to move her came from up top and the supervisor doesn't actually want her there.

the sun: whats something youre very proud of? - I am a fantastic cook. Its a combination of a little kitchen magic and a lot of trial and error. I'm especially good at taking a bunch of seemingly disparate ingredients and making a delicious meal (thank you Chopped!)

(🦢) feel like joy's the coldblooded type and hot drinks mess her up a little. This is gonna be very funny when adele inevitably offers to make us tea and shes just gonna 🧍‍♀️ sit there waiting for it to cool downKQKWKSKSK she eats her veggies at the very least they never had problems foraging!!! I think her favorite is stuff like beets and yams. And to follow up to the cake question she doesn't like fruit that much because she doesn't really like sugar. I think shes the harrowhark type of "I lived on snow leeks for so long that a biscuit is making my head spin now" which probably contrast feilke who looks like he could handle anything (he just wont because his body is a temple) maybe she'd like apricots because they have a good texture.

(📜) hot drinks expensive tastes. Constantly regrets they can't buy white tea with bergamot anymore. Probably learned to brew perfectly as a party trick for the matriarch just in case she wanted to like, have them meet a potential fiancee or something (wasnt impressed. That's servants' and women's thing to know how to do). They will eat veggies as needed but dont like a various amount of them due to being raised in a fantasy french household and probably having had some debatable quality cooking going on at times; they like figs and cherries (they learned the stem tying trick too) and would go steal them from the mansion grounds and nearby convent as a child because I can just See It. Favorite cake is the black forest, but I think now they're around Peasants they might end up liking simpler and handmade things u__u

(🏵) NESSS MY GIRL NESSIE!!! Cold drinks. She's half human but as half eladrin her season has always been firmly winter, and then she moved to a very warm climate, and she does a lot of physical work so she needs to keep her head fresh. She likes ice tea and- they don't have Arizona there but I think she'd love Arizona green tea. They definitely don't have monster energy there but she'd love that too. So much for a femme. She eats lots of veggies and her favorite is pumpkin of her adopted mom's pumpkin soup fame. Her favorite fruits are apples because they're the easiest to carry and eat on the road, but when she's home she cuts them into bunnies for her little sister 🙆‍♂️ for cakes and sweets... more of a pie kinda person. 4. From 1. Flint was taken by shock when Ash thank him for saving her life. No one has ever show him gratitude despite being fearsome pirate.
