Uhh hi!! Could I request a playlist for a harlequin great dane therian? I'm fine with most genres except rap, heavy metal, and country! I'd love if it had both more domestic and also feral vibes! (I am typing this on my PlayStation 4 send help omfg)

Of course! I hope you like this one, I tried to find songs with motifs of being carefree and that remind me of open grassy spaces and feeling at home. I also tried to find songs that really have a tempo that make you think of a dog trotting/running/frolicking!

Song 1: "Tomorrow Untrodden"

This song sounds like running through an open grassy field on a sunny day. Interspersed clouds pepper the sky and the rise and fall of the strings are absolutely lovely and mimic what its like to frolic without a care in the world

Song 2: "Tenuousness"

Instead of having drums, this song uses a plucked violin for the percussion track, giving it a light and whimsical sound. The singer also incorporates whistling into the track which I think dog therians might enjoy!

Song 3: "Furr"

This song uses being a dog as a metaphor for growing up. During the impressionable years of his youth the singer describes being a dog, running aimlessly and wild until his hearts content. At the end of the song he describes growing up as his fur turning to skin and being ushered into a world that he does not know (relatable af)

Song 4: "Dirty Paws"

I know every therian playlist has this song, but how could I not! This song evokes a sense of wonder tells a story of a group of animals, focusing on a dog/wolf/fox (its ambiguous). The lyrics are abstract and up to interpretation by the listener! I've seen some interpret it as a song about humans and climate change and others interpret it as a metaphor for WW2. But its fun to interpret the lyrics literally from a therian lens!

Song 5: "Hound Dog"

Cant go wrong with a bit of Elvis. The chorus is so catchy you cant help but tap your feet.

"You ain't nothin' but a hound dog Cryin' all the time Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit You ain't no friend of mine!"

I hope you enjoy this playlist! I tried to diversify the genres and include a lot of instruments!
