Alright yeah new tentative oc loredrop for any interested parties below!:

TBN Jackal (maybe Liu [something]?)- an unsociable artist with a stall near Ghost City's vanity/pleasure house area. Sells masks and enchanted jewelry for facial modifications, skills Jackal developed after becoming a vengeful spirit. Detests people asking for modifications to seduce/make others fall for them ("I'm not even a fox spirit, go somewhere else for that foolishness!" said with a scowl). In life was a regular jackal who was hunted down and burned by farmers who mistook him for the one responsible for their missing livestock. Holds a grudge against humans esp mortal ones bc of this. Willowy and fragile-looking build, burn scars along left side of body and a limp on same side bc of the damage to his hip/thigh. Might carry a walking stick to aid mobility too? Wears many layers of sensible mid-quality robes to hide scars as well as some of his own spelled earrings to glamour away the scars on his face as he's still uncomfortable with others seeing them (besides maybe Alligator eventually). Dedicated to his craft and not much of a life (well, afterlife lol) outside of that. Perhaps alligator gets him out of his shell a bit as they grow closer?

TBN alligator- A Yangtze alligator yao working as a courtesan at a pleasure house as a musician and singer, known for her distinct rumbling voice and above average pipa skills. Cheerful and laid-back demeanor, takes things slowly and calmly. Originally a male alligator but saw female humans more often due to the location of her home lake and decided she liked that form better. Dawnclan(old)

So I've been redesigning Dawnclan plus some important Starclan cats and I've decided I'll post the ref sheets, even if its to have them all in one place. But since I'm doing that it would be a good idea to also post the old designs!

The younger the cats are, the more their designs will change(unless I like em) so don't get attached! The colours above their heads are the family colours, I did their originally so I wouldn't make cousins or even siblings mates but it also saves me from loading up the game every time I need to reference the lineages.

Here I'm not sure if I've said this anywhere so take this lil note about Lyra's experience with the prosperity goddess (whose name I forget every time,) or rather what led up to it. While he wouldn't have taken any deals in the end, the amount of confidence he handled it with was certainly due to what happened that day.

This is taken verbatim from my notes channel, so apologies for confusing wording.

i think ioun apologizing combined with emily's invitation they sort of like. feel this weight lifted off their chest they have a moment of clarity like "the things i've been worrying about are getting better, there's hope, ill be fine" and they start making an effort again, with however little time they have left like lyra really hasn't been in a good place! they were dealing with the wolf, and then technically they were okay during the beginning of the god stuff but like it was a huge shift and given that it isn't what they signed up for there was a lot of fear going into it, you know? and then sehanine happened and they realized how much they loved emily too and were really really scared of losing her like that was really stressful! like shes been keeping up and hopefully doing basic care things but he definitely fell off during the mortality crisis and it gets resolved and he has the first moment in a while of "ill be okay"

There's a bit more about it but it's late so I should get in bed haha. Let me know if the formatting of this sucks ass I'm tryna figure out how I should differentiate the actual writing parts in posts.
