i have settled on an outfit

reading thru a couple of comments of people misenterpreting me made me kinda realize that like. i dont really like the initial approach i took 2 her chr design? i think when making chrs that r a specific nationality its rlly good 2 incorperate little elements that are a part of the culture, but seeing people boil down me asking for an outfit for a chr that incorperates elements of chinese culture as just oh pick the most "chinese" outfit is like?? kinda shitty?

and i was kindof doing that too- i think alot of historical chinese fashion is really cool! and theres an urge to try and be like. "authentic" to that, to take what is supposed to be a character that is FROM A PLACE and make them a representation OF THAT PLACE- witch i dont.. like.

the "authenticity" of a fashion, that is the historical accuracy, doesnt actually practically matter when creating a modern character? its very common in all cultures to take older fashion and update it to be more modern, its mostly disrespectful when it becomes clear that you are doing like, 0 reasearch and are just mushing misc "asian looking" stuff together, (like people squishing together japanese and chinese culture into one thing) asian people are like- individuals n shit, looking at actual screenshots photos and videos taken in china & hk people just dress the way that they like and that is practical, the actual snippets of chinese culture you pick up from being an american are only ever the loudest bits (or the ones people like to be racist about) witch if thats something you never try and work around you end up tokenizing and dehumanizing people i dont think theres anything wrong with making chrs that are meant to be representative of a culture but i think its important 2 ask urself what you actually want, for me i wanna make a cool chinese dragon tgirl, so outfits i make for her should be like, cool swag outfits that someone would wear before i add anything ele

okay about qsmp. first off yes slimecicle plural checks out yeah. there was some shit going on with gegg. second of all i feel like i am contractually obligated to bring up luzu and arin who r canonically plural. i wasn't here for most of the earlier streams so i don't know what their entire deal is, but i know that arin is an ai thats in luzu's brain for some reason, and i watched a lot of the recent prison arc and man. holy shit man. i just. quackity went up to him all excited because luzu isn't around much (for ooc reasons mainly i believe [timezones i think] but theres also lore excuse for it lol), and was confused for a bit when arin told him that luzu was on "the other side" right now and that he was someone different, but accepted it very quickly with little resistance. and so much of it was so fucking sweet man. overall other characters were really respectful and kind to arin, and arin himself is just. so sweet. overall he doesn't know very much about the world, being a robot without all the life experience that luzu has, but he's not kind out of ignorance, rather choosing to be kind and make the world a better place, and to love it with his whole heart, flaws and all. during the whole arc he insists that they try to fight back and get everyone out of the prison, and not leave anyone behind. he also doesn't speak out loud, using global chat or books to write out what he wants to say (once again contributing to qsmp's overall theme of many forms of communication, and connection through all sorts of language barriers). ive just been watching his pov of the event recently and it's been making me feel things. i like him very much. anyway yeah plural swag

tony: transguy. i dont think he thinks about gender beyond knowing hes a guy but hes pretty chill about how he presents and considers wearing fem clothes totally neutral and swag actually. actually i think "tboy swag" perfectly encompasses his gender identity

cassandra: trans woman. she sort of presents herself however is convenient but is generally internally very femme

tony: i think in the modern day yes :-) it was more difficult while he was human and nerve wracking considering he was stealth but its fine now

valentine: It Depends. her sire is very much like "i dont take anything about you seriously including this so i'm not going to respect it" but since most of the court LIKES her (only tremere prince to manage this) theyre supportive. i think she blew up coming out more in her head and it wasnt that bad when it happened. everyone loves epic tgirls

aaand copyeditor aka tina shes so small so tiny so cutes. its one of them its/hers, has a cane, and is mute but in a cog way - her gimmick is she wouldn't have her own sfx! if shes speaking dialogue, its other cog's sfx and dialogue (eg., it would do an attack but say a holly voiceline - "oh looketh, a burnt boor" - and then next attack do a dave voiceline - "better not dance cold on my floor") she could probably stitch together voicelines like a tf2 old sfm. i cant pin down in my head if she hates toons or is neutral about them, as it never gives opinion unless it can parrot what someone else thinks that she agrees with at that moment, so i think its funny to think no one knows how well she performs bc shes so quiet

ok so starfox as a series is about furries in spaceships doing space battles. fox mccloud (fox) falco lombardi (bluebird) slippy toad (frog) and peppy hare (rabit) are merceneries working on employ for the government of a planet called corneria. specifically a bloodhound named general pepper. theres a pepper and a peppy yeah. anyway theyre going to stop this evil dude called Andross (some kind of monkey) whose trying to take over the galaxy. the first game is basically a visual demo for the FX chip, 64 is the one everyone likes and introduced Star Wolf. wolf o'donnell (wolf) who is fox's main rival, pigma dengar (pig) who helped kill fox's dad james mccloud (fox in sunglasses), leon (chameleon) who likes to be creepy and andrew okionny (andross' newphew). it also introduced bill (dog?), fox's old friend from the academy, and katt monroe (cat) who knows falco somehow. then there's adventures which introduced krystal (blue fox empath) and also isnt a starfox game in anything but name and characters. it's just ocarina of time and majora's mask but weird and worse. it also used to not even be about star fox until it was absorbed into the ip. i dont think the 3d on the ground style is a bad idea but they way did it just did not fit the starfox universe. theres also assault, command, zero, and 2. i havent finished rewatching those games tho so theyre not fresh in my mind for whats going on in them, but in either assult or command there's aliens called aparoids that are a biomechanical hivemind seeking to absorb the galaxy. panther caroso (panther) is in one of these games. also dash bowman (he's a small monkey?). in the other there's fish aliens called anglars. idk anything about zero it might be another reboot. the one with anglars has multiple endings and some of them are weird but it also has krystal joining star wolf in some endings which is swag. 2 was supposed to come out ages ago but was cancelled until release a few years ago on the switch and has no characterization, but has faye (white purse dog) and miyu (lynx) who are women. also once upon a time dropout was gonna do a claymation starfox tv show but it was cancelled. anyway these r the basics of star fox. sorry this is so long
