hi! Genuine curiosity, what does endo mean?

an endogenic system is a system formed without trauma or a system that doesnt associate their trauma with the formation of their system. they are notoriously excluded from system discussions because a lot of people dont believe systems can be formed without trauma.

personally, i am a little skeptical about systems being formed without trauma, but its not my place to shove identities down people's throats or force them to face trauma theyre not aware of. they're hurting absolutely no one by identifying one way or another and they are absolutely not "stealing resources" from traumagenic systems like myself.

the exclusion of endogenic systems in plural discussions is harmful and it excludes systems that might actually be traumagenic and not know it (because plurality especially disordered plurality hides itself and your trauma. because its a dissociative disorder that makes you forget about your trauma, and it is covert).

the gatekeeping in our community about who is and isnt allowed to identify their plurality is disgusting. i welcome any system of any origin with open arms unconditionally, and if they turn out to have been mistaken about their potential plurality, i will still care for them, and i will hope that they find another answer for what they have going on that made them think they were plural.

hopefully this isnt too ranty ;; i just think its really important for us as a community to care about people.
