Can I ask where Roy & Riza's ages (the FMA wiki says Roy's 29-30 and Riza's 25-26) were confirmed in canon? I also saw some posts of yours before about not shipping young Royai because of the 5-year age gap that makes it more uncomfortable in their younger days and I agree, so I was just curious if it was ever stated in the manga (I've only seen Brotherhood & I'm still on the manga's first few chapters) or Arakawa confirmed it outside of the manga. Thanks

roy has a canon age, riza does not. roy canonically turned 30 while moving from east to central [also canon from an “interview” with havoc n the guys that mustang celebrated this birthday alone, which would be funny if hughes hadnt just died]. arakawa said it heeere in volume 11:

and then she said in another issue that she has no interest in giving her characters birthdays or ages or any of that shit, so if anyone has a “canon birthday” then that either comes from brotherhood or its made up by fans, idk. and riza has never had a canon age, thats just guesswork and headcanon that people shove onto the wikia because people cant keep their headcanons off of wikias to force ppl into thinking their headcanons are canon. very annoying

the assumption of riza being five years younger than roy is really just ????? theres no reason to hc that, theres nothing in canon to indicate that shes that much younger than him [in fact theres more to suggest that shes closer in age to him but whatever i guess]. and lots of people imagine her as younger than havoc and breda? because???? i dont know. i hate it.

also i actually dont ship young-royai no matter what their age difference is, i just dont think it fits with their story for them to have been in a relationship or even close friends. i didnt know until recently that people thought riza was THAT much younger than roy, tho based on some young-royai art, it doesnt surprise me that some people were imagining 12/17 while drawing it [gross]

hello.... it me.... bringing u my third n final muse, tobias kelley. sry about him in advance ok i’m still working him out so this is probably gonna b my shortest one but he’s never n he’s a giant jerk. ( there’s a slight death mention tw in this !! )

( bob morley, he/him, cismale ) *:･ﾟ✧ every time alone by halsey plays, i always think of tobias kelley. maybe it’s because the thirty year old is known to be amiable but also closed-off. they’re originally from melbourne, australia, and have been living in the complex for one year. the auto body shop owner can be found in building six, room #6303 with 1 roommate, if you want to catch up. ( admin ren, 22, she/her, est ). 

tobias was adopted into a lil family who wasn’t able to have kids when he was 5 years old

they weren’t sure he was going to be adopted bc he was Not a good toddler but the family really loved him 

n toby loves his fam sososo much he was adopted n then they adopted a younger sibling toby aLWAYS wanted a sibling so he was so happy and excited

he’s never met his birth parents and hes not concerned about meeting him

tob is australian and grew up in melbourne n i am just a small floridian who knows nothing about australia so we’re just gonna leave that there lmao

toby was a p open hearted kid when he was younger n he was picked on a lot but he tried to keep an open mind

tob ended up getting a gf that he loves sO SO so so much like .... light of his life wanted 2 get married and start a family n so happy n in love

and then she broke his poor heart and he just kinda shut down

and on top of that, his dad had fallen ill and not too long after he passed away so he was dealing with heartbreak n the loss of his dad and it kinda just changed him a lot ( i’m still working on the time frame for this but it was within the last 10 years ) 

he didn’t have a crazy large friend group but those that he did have he kinda shoved away

and eventually he moved to florida bc he got a business opp there and he opened up his own mechanic shop

and thats one thing he really loves and its his pride n joy

and hes always really happy when hes at work bc he used to work on cars w his dad and it just makes him happy

so basically ,,, he can be pretty gruff and closed off but theres possibility to get closer to him
