No hate, it's just kind of annoying when they're always thrown around like accessories/need to revolve around Star//scream (mostly the jet twins)

im not calling them cats im saying it has similar effects

it can cause physical deformities and lasting damage to ones mental state or psyche

too long without repair can cause the area to heal that way and prevent any way for the appendages to be reattached

I also made them little holiday costumes and a second Screamer where he has a crown!

I'm really really proud of them!! I've been hanging out around the gravity falls section as Skywarp because my friends like to go as Bill and Ford!!!

Also the campsite as Starscream when all the bubbles get to be a bit too much.

okay. so. first off. anon, thank you for sending me this because the idea that you read that post and just went- "hey, you know who i should pose this question to?" and sent it to me- is hysterical and i lvoe u.

anyway theres also a Texty answer under the cut if you want to read that, because i genuinely DO have thoughts about this, but i wanted to draw that comic because this ask made me laugh very hard when i saw it in my inbox.

also, the thrilling conclusion of the comic answer:

hi! Texty time. I think a lot of them would have/be one but not the other (either has a STI or is a Carfucker) but i included some of those here anyway because i think my thought process was funny for some of them. this is all purely my own opinions etc. etc. no basis for anything only vibes. i went through a lot of options and came to a lot of conclusions.

to reiterate the Chart for claritys sake:

Soundwave: No STI and no Carfucking. This is true across all versions of Soundwave imo. Rumble and Frenzy are a solid no on the STI front and a solid yes on the Carfucking.

Starscream: no STI, no Carfucking (despite what Soundwave thinks). TFP!Starscream specifically might have an STI though. Sorry man. Skywarp definitely has/had a STI but gets it treated on account of his trinemates. No Carfucking. Thundercracker would fuck a car but doesn't have an STI.

Shockwave: ??? - I'm not sure I want to know. "Once, as part of an experiment" was the original thing I wrote for his answer lol. True across continuities as well.

Anyway. moving on...

My actual answer for Megatron: REALLY depends on continuity. Here's a sample:

G1? Yeah, probably both. I can see it.

IDW/MTMTE? Nah. Maybe? ... Nah. I feel like if he had an STI it'd have been back when he was a miner. Would not fuck a car.

Earthspark? I feel like no STI but yes to the Carfucking. Except he feels really guilty about it after. I still haven't watched ES but this is the impression I get from him.

TFA? oh god. i don't know... i don't know....... he probably fucks cars. No STI.

TFP? Yeah absolutely are u kidding me? Yes to both.

Constructicons: I feel like they'd be a yes to both, but not at the same time, so they wouldn't have been the one/s to transmit a STI to a car. Also Hook would be ON TOP of treatment. Once they ALL got infected after combining into Devastator, and that was miserable for everyone. Nobody has fessed up to being the one who had it in the first place, but now they have treatment on hand just in case.

Also while on the topic of combiners... I think some of the Stunticons are also pretty good candidates for STI/Carfucking. Motormaster, Drag Strip and Wildrider in particular shfkgbekfbk

I considered Tarn/The DJD and Overlord just because of how freaky them guys can get, but I think Tarn runs too tight a ship for that to happen, and Overlord is preoccupied with. worse things. The Scavengers on the other hand... sorry to Misfire, I can see him giving a car a STI. Relatedly, Grimlock would fuck a car but not have an STI.

Haha, so, trine doesnt exist in any continuity, transformers fans made the concept up wholesale. I used to roll my eyes at it because of this but I've since come to cherish it as a concept no matter how non canon it is.

As far as I’m aware, since the dawn of time the Starscream toy has always been cast alongside a Thundercracker and Skywarp repaint to make use of the same toy mould, I can just imagine one collecting all three jet fighter planes and playing with them as a unit. The original cartoon included many scenes and shots, including one in the opening theme song, of the three of them occupying the same screentime, tho they had little love for each other even as comrads back then. IDW1’s megatron origins shows the three of them scouted to join the Decepticons together as a trio of seekers, and their similarity in design is explained as Starscream making the other two remodel their bodies to look like him so he could (allegedly) commit tax evasion?

I am new to the tf fandom so I don’t know how the trine concept actually started, I just know theres no one single continuity responsible for sparking the idea. Trines don’t exist in canon, but as seekers tend to show up in groups of three I can see how people latched on to the idea. I certainly have.

Like i think those last two guys are.... Trailbreaker??? and Brawn???? The team COMP. is not my point necessarily...... But oh what a fine little group you could get to know some guys like that.

theres thundercracker and skywarp, so two starscreams isnt even just a coloring error on the frames. then theres a second soundwave having a tussle. what a work of art

I loved the Skywarp/Bumblebee story! Thank you so much! Sorry I keep sending you a lot of Bee stuff. I just like seeing the rare pairings of him. I found out theres a lot. People ship him rarely with Wreck-Gar, Luggy, Ratchet, Bulky, Jazz and a lot of bots but stick with like Starscream, Megatron, Blitzy, Optimus and Prowl I just hope for more rare pair stories to be out there incase somebody else likes the pairing too but can't find any. Is that selfish?

I'm happy you liked it! I don't mind writing rare-pairs. I will admit they do take me more time to write because I occasionally need to refresh my memory on certain characters (especially with G1 characters and a lot of IDW bots I might have missed in the comics) but part of the reason I started this blog is to challenge myself with ships and characters I don't usually see. Hopefully I don't do too bad a job about keeping their characterizations right.

I wouldn't call that selfish, anon. I can say that getting a few requests with the same character in a row makes me more likely to skip around to others and then come back. But nah, I like rarer pairs, too. My favorites is probably Thundercracker/Bumblebee.

"Don't chase the rabbit"

This memory wasn’t too painful for Skywarp—not like the previous one. However, this one memory was a mash of different ones that tailored to the same event. His warp-drive and downfall of his ability.

It was Cybertron. The new Cybertron. Skywarp had just been released from being imprisoned along with his fellow Decepticons. After teleporting away, and reappearing once more, there was a sword straight through his chest as he was materializing—mid warp. 

            “Urk!”

After that came the exile of the Decepticons, Skywarp along with them, except for Starscream of course. But that wasn’t the worse of it—being exiled. His injuries affected his ability to teleport and that was when Skywarp could no longer keep himself solid. Ignoring his injuries but ever so clutching at his chest, Skywarp joined up with Soundwave against the dead Necrotitan and the death plague. But it only worsened, this time, he mid-phased-out and was unable to interact with the world around him. Cybertronians passed by and through him—but nothing. The Seeker scrambled for some nearby Ore-14 to repair himself but it was all blown away and Skywarp vanished.—

Time passed on by before he was able to get himself together and was able to teleport everyone into the Necrotitan. 

   “I can’t…I’m trying… But theres too many… And I never felt this bad.”

But to only fall backwards mid-phased-out and disappear once more. Never did he ever get the acknowledgement that he helped save Cybertron.

It skipped to Earth. The Decepticons were allied with Earth Defense Command. Galvatron wired Skywarp’s injured body to a machine on their starship. The machine was there to help keep his fluctuatin physical form under control and allowed him to use his powers at a distance..but at a cost. This was abused. His powers were abused and so was his frame. He continued to serve through his mess, keeping up with that hope that Galvatron would soon repair him. Little did he know that was never going to come.

Skywarp would be muzzled, his powers used and abused. Tiring out the large Seeker to the point where it was deteriorating his warp drive and his body without getting repaired all that time ago back on Cybertron. The cruel jokes came along from Galvatron. However, the pain caused by these jokes never came close in comparison to the physical agony Skywarp’s scrambled body experienced great pain whenever he would teleport anyone. Eager to be freed from the machine and repaired as soon as possible.

Most days, Skywarp kept his helm bowed and optics off, trying to ride through the pain that was being inflicted on him. He wasn’t even able to hold his hurt frame, to put pressure on it. His arms and legs were spread apart by clamps that drained his ability right from him. Always thinking to himself. He hated enclosed rooms. It scared him. Everything was weighing down on him. He was a prisoner to his own brothers. Every teleportation of his brothers, Skywarp had to hold back the surging pain that ran through his wiring, all the way to his chest. Most of the time, he wanted to die. Any pain he could take besides this. He thought of Thundercracker before he’d black out to the uncontrollable pain.

Hope was the only thing that kept Skywarp going. It felt as if this day—this day was going to be the day he would get repaired since they were just about to obtain that technology—but they weren’t able to. Being stuck in a dark room with nothing but himself and the machine, painted grey and purple. Skywarp wanted out, he wanted to join them.  

“Then let me out, Galvatron… Let me see something—anything—other than this room.”

However, all he got in response was a laugh to his face.

That there was some use to him—Finally Skywarp was released from the awful machine and was forced to teleport Galvatron into EDC’s base and abduct Garrison Blackrock. That was the moment when he saw Thundercracker across the room. Skywarp wanted out—not wanting his former brother to see him, especially not in this shape. He didn’t like to show weakness.

“Lets get the hell out of here before anybody else shows up. I can make the jump to Astrotrain in orbit.” His words were full of pain; he was tired. One could see it. Being hooked to the machine took a huge toll on his body.

Soundwaves voice came through:                                          “Skywarp! You cannot allow this to occur!”

“Soundwave….”

                                          “We have an arrangement with the humans! Our                                                  oppressed brothers arrive seeking new lives, not                                                war!”

That was when he had enough of it. He was done being pushed around. He was tired. He couldn’t do much anymore. He was over it all.

“…I’ve had it with people telling me what to do.”

Skywarp betrayed Galvatron, teleporting them to Shainghai, China. The Decepticon collapsed to the ground before he was forced upward in a chokehold. He was too weak to fight it and let it happen. After being released from Galvatron’s gripped, he pointed at their incoming Decepticon brothers before he fully collapsed facedown on the hot concrete. Skywarp couldn’t move. Too much pain. Too tired.

Finally, after realizing that Galvatron was never going to repair him. Blackrock proposed a deal to the Seeker and teleported him to the White House lawn.

It wasn’t over then, he was with his new team of Joes. No longer was Skywarp able to teleport. The memory was just about over…

“Scarlett… My spark…Some-thing is… wrong… Need to shut down…Auto-repair… Yo, Joe..” The Seeker collapsed and all went dark.

Skywarp huffed as he turned to walk away. He was done being forced to show his memories, some of the most awful ones too.
