Honestly this outfit is a masterpiece. I was amazed that the first Battle Costume of Clear Card was this good. The dress, The Gloves, the Shawl The way the lining and the ribbons mirror each other, the asymmetry with those ribbons, the simple but incredibly cute boots, the frills. Tomoyo Truly outdid herself, she must have been sitting on this one and refining it during the two year in-canon hiatus between clear card and cardcaptor. Just incredible. I’d Kill to wear this.

Okay so there was a very large debate between me and myself for the last 5 over who gets the #1 spot but in the end, I don’t think it could’ve ever been anything else. After all, its supposed to be ranked by my preference. It just holds such a special, magical place in my heart. I see this and it goes: This is what being a magical girl is. Theres not a single thing on this outfit I don’t love dearly. The hat, The Wings, The Dress, The Frills, The gloves, the stockings, the shoes and the bows throughout the outfit tying it all together. What was the last rumor that you heard? No idea. I don’t really have rumors around me at this point in my life. My friends aren’t like that and I’m not working anywhere at the moment. What country star would you most like to meet and why? I don’t really know who any of them are. Have you ever been in a car accident? Yes. One of them happened when I was like 15 and it pinched a nerve in my neck and half of my left hand went numb. My mom didn’t believe me for a really long time that there was something wrong until she watched me try to pick up a glass of milk with my left hand and it just fell to the floor. Are you an organ donor? Yes! What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done? Unsure. I’m fairly adventurous, but I don’t do super dangerous things. I guess just trespassing in old abandoned buildings when I was younger could have been dangerous. What is the meaning of life? Moments of joy. For you and others. What word do you like the sound of? I had this dream when I was a kid that I left the scissors out and they flew up and cut my moms fingers off and the whole dream was dark and black and white because it was night, but at the end, she picked up the phone (landline, because cell phones weren’t a thing then) and the only color was the green light coming from the phone that illuminated the numbers and she was trying to dial 911 with her fingers that weren’t there. 

I probably had that dream close to 30 years ago now and it’s still clear in my mind.

Out of those three Barnes is pretty good at most things so long as it doesnt involve moldy shit, Dravens pretty good at physical labor, and Agent will do pretty much everything so long as it wants to or feels like whatever it does will benefit it in some way

A lot of us have the capacity to if we want. Francis does sometimes, and a lot of unaccessed alters like those in the Kennels or on different Layers will create memory blackouts if they end up fronting somehow

on the argument of summer vs winter i really hate when pro-winter ppl say you should just add more layers until youre warm. like 1. i have ugly sweaters (obvsly my own fault no h8) and 2. theres only so much layering you can do for your legs. in high school i wore pantyhose under my leggings bc i walked to school (only 15 mins) and it fuckn sucked. and i hate wearing jeans in cold weather bc they get cold so fast and chill my bones…and 3. you cant do much to cover your face except ski mask / scarf /hat. and i dont wear any of those by choice because they look lame asf. nobody looks good or feels good in -20°C (-26°C with the windchill factor).

on the other hand, summers here only get up to 35°C including humidity and usually linger around 28. also being outside in the summer usually means theres shady spots to rest. maybe my favourite feeling in the world is walking into air conditioning on a hot day.

You cant be disappointed by brands stopping at size 10 if you don't buy fast fashion to conform to trend. like conforming is fine, its okay to feel cute at the same time as everyone else but like, the upheaval of your wardrobe to do so is an invention of modern capitalism.

but ill be damned if ill let the market try and bend back the work all the fashionable and creative fat people have achieved just to push 35$ micro minis and cheap bellybutton rings. Before I leave tumblr for shabbos, (just until tomorrow) I'm gonna use this time to be loudly jewish (is there any other way lmao).

The writing of glee is really antisemetic, and you should care about this when you're critiquing glee for being offensive.

Jacob Ben Israel is an example of the negative stereotype of Jewish men being unmasculine perverts. Rachel berry is the cookie cutter stereotype of the loud, neurotic, and controlling Jewish woman. Myron Moskovitz is a mix of the worst parts of both of those character's portrayals with the added layer of him being undeservingly rich.

The Puckermans are the only Jewish glee characters I can think of that aren't antisemetic caricatures (Jake is pigeonholed for his race, but that's not really something I'm qualified to unpack) but even then, the show failed at giving them any meaningful connection to their religious tradition (like Quinn and Joe got) besides a handful of throwaway lines and the misrepresentation of Channukah that was 4x10 Glee, Actually.

I know glee ended years ago, so theres nothing we can do about it now, but please (especially if you're a goyiche gleek) be mindful of the hurtful antisemetic tropes present in the text

Keith looked around at the battle raging on around him. One of Zarkon’s main generals (*insert creative galra name here*) had managed to obtain a mechatron of some sort and was using it to destroy the team. He flinched as he heard Pidge cry out in pain when one of the laser rays the mecha was using slammed directly into the green lion. The others weren’t faring much better. Lances and Red (he could never quite stop thinking of her as his Red) were trapped under a collapsed pile of rocks, Pidge had just been taken out, Shiro had disappeared fighting another rogue Galra, and Hunk and Allura were the only paladins left anywhere near fighting condition, but Keith could see that they were tiring rapidly.

He looked down at the blade gripped tightly in his hand. 

The mission comes first.

He looked around one last time, burning each and every one of his friends faces into his mind. Somehow, some way, they had become a makeshift family. A family that was about to lose a member.

He radioed in. “Guys, clear the area. I have an idea.”

“Keith what the hell are you talking about?” Pidge said, her voice tight with pain.

“Well, I mean we kinda need all the help we can get,” Hunk said begrudgingly.

“What are you planning, Keith?” Allure asked.

“Just trust me,” Keith said. “But please stay out of the way. It’ll get pretty hairy out there.”

“What...?” Keith could hear the question in Pidge’s voice.

“Please,” Keith begged. “I need you guys to trust me.”

“Ok... we trust you,” Allura said.

“Keith, what exactly are you planning to do?” Lance said, his voice thick with suspicion.

“Now is not the time Lance for you to question Keith,” Allura said, her voice hesitant, but forceful enough. Lance didn’t respond. “Clear the area, she ordered.” Keith watched as the lions flew out of the danger zone, hunks yellow lion supporting ridges green, and Allura covering their exit. Lance was far enough to be out of the danger zone.

“Thanks guys,” Keith said. He didn’t need to say anything more. What else would he say?

He darted up, sprinting as fast as he could towards the mecha. He was small enough that he remained under the cover of the thick layer of dust over the ground.

“Oh my god Keith,” Lance whispered, his voice crackling over the microphone. “Don’t do this.”

Keith felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. Even though he was (a totally gorgeous) goofball, Lance was actually much smarter than he let on. Of course he would be the first to figure out.

“Lance what the holy quiznak are you talking about?” Pidge snapped.

“Allure he’s going to sacrifice himself!" Lance yelled. Keith thought he heard Allura suck in a breath from her side of the mic.

“Shut up Lance!” Keith yelled back.

“Wait Keith! NO!” Pidge cried out. 

“Keith, turn back. That’s an order,” Allura said, her voice shaky.

“This is the only way.” Keith said, keeping his voice as steady as he could.

“Keith!” yelled out Lance, raw fear flooding his voice. That was almost enough to make Keith hesitate. Almost.

The mission comes first.

“Move in team!” Allure yelled. 

Keith was almost 50 yards from the mecha. “No! Stay away! You come any closer you’ll die too!”

“And what are we supposed to do?! Just let you kill yourself?!” Lance demanded.

“It’s the only way,” Keith said, his teeth gritted and his voice shaking just a little. 35 yards.

“Keith there’s gotta be a better option,” Hunk begged.

“I’m sorry.” 27 yards.

He saw the lions closing in through his peripheral vision. He smiled. They were still too slow. 23 yards.

“Allura, you are the daughter of King Alfor. The mightiest Altean King in centuries. He understood the value of sacrifice. Believe me, I wish it could be otherwise. This is the. Only. Option.”

“Keith... I - “

“Now is not the time to be indecisive, Princess!”

“F-fall back,” Allura proclaimed, her voice thick with tears.

“Allura!” Pidge yelled angrily. 

“She’s right,” said Hunk, his voice full of resignation. 

“How can you agree with her?!” Pidge shrieked, her voice taking on this broken quality that somehow hurt more  than the shrapnel peppering Keith’s body.

“I don’t! I don’t, goddammit. But if - if he’s gonna do this so that we can live, then - then we gotta give him the best chance to do so.”

15 yards.

Keith saw the lions falling back, Hunk still carrying Pidge.

“Screw this! I’m not just gonna let you die!” Lances voice burst through the microphone. Keith could've sworn he heard tears, which wasn’t possible. The microphone must’ve been faulty. 

With an echoing boom, Lance broke free of the rock pile, Red rising into the sky and starting to streak towards Keith. 

Wham!

Allure dove into Red, pinning her to the ground. 

“No! Allura let me go - goddammit!”

10 yards.

“Keith! Keith!”

8 yards.

“Please don’t do this! We’ll find another way!”

4 yards.

“Keith!”

He heard Pidge and Hunk crying, the sounds tearing at his heart.

“Keith! Please!”

1 yard.

He didn’t want to leave Lance like this. Not when there was a whole world of possibilities waiting ahead for the both of them. And yet, this was the way to go out. A bright flame. Before he could ruin anything between them anyway.

Keith took a bounding leap over a piece of debris and landed between the mecha’s legs, the gigantic structure towering over him. 

A prick of bitterness flittered through him. There was one thing - just one - tat he wished he could’ve done. Of course, of course, he wouldn’t get to. Because god forbid Keith have a fair life. 

“Keith!” Distantly he heard Lance’s voice. He was still yelling. 

Steeling himself, he plunged his dagger into the ground, muttering an ancient Galran curse to set a self destructive bomb, enough to destroy anything within the immediate vicinity. 

The ground beneath him began to glow. No turning back now.

The light got more and more intense, each millisecond passing simultaneously faster and slower than a thousand ticks.

“I’m sorry I’ll never get to meet you, mom,” he whispered. 

“Keith!”
