#there's so much good anime on netflix atm

I watched Mononoke Karakasa so I now I can interact with the small handful of posts about it I have and will come across on my dash

Here are a few thoughts I have about the movie

First of all, what a stacked cast! A lot of seiyuu I really love, Tomoyo Kurosawa my beloved~ and Hiroshi Kamiya fits Kusuriuri perfectly!

Second of all, LESBIANS!! I saw one post mentioning the possibility, so I knew I could expect something, and I got more than I was anticipating so I'm very happy. I also think I enjoyed the story and the characters more due to how female focused it was

I was a little worried if 90 minutes of Mononoke would melt my brain, but I was glued to the screen the entire time. It looked stunning and was an upgrade from the tv-anime (which tbf aired 17 years ago). The new design for Kusuriuri is super hot, although I prefer the gold and white version for his transformation, I can understand why they changed it too. As always, I'm a sucker for pretty kimonos and intricate hairdo's and we got a lot of that in this movie~

Overall a very nice movie and I'm happy there will be a continuation for it. I'm a fairly new fan to the franchise/character, but it's pretty cool how far they've come, from an arc to a tv-anime to full movies. I can't wait to see what happens to these characters next!

Hey, I've worked a bit in animation and just wanted to point out that shows very often get pitched and bought out, and can sit in the back burner for a really long time depending on the market! Seems like with all the strikes and post covid lag, and a market thats already saturated with greek mythology atm (think percy jackson live action coming soon, youtube series, other webcomics, etc.), lore olympus is probably floating in the air atm until the time is right. These kinds of things can take years to happen, even 10+ years! Some of the most popular animated shows were pitched years before they were picked up and sent into production. Hoping in the time its on hold, they get some really good writers to clean up the story. I don't mean to disregard your post, but just a lil bit of info on how that nature works in animation. I love lore rekindled too, keep it up!

Oh hey thanks for your input! So I do actually have a diploma in animation (though I never ended up working in the larger industry) so I know a bit about how things like that can happen. Nimona's a great recent example, it was bought in 2015 by 20th Century Fox but never made it through development because of Disney purchasing them and bringing the project to a crawl due to it being LGBTQ+, then they shut down Blue Sky and that kept the project in limbo until it got picked up by a new studio and brought to Netflix. So it took well over 10 years for that one to finally hit the screen.

That said, most of that post is addressing the fact that if LO is going to get a TV show (I'm really strongly believing it isn't at this point, esp not with JHC but that's me) then stalling it out for 10 years or however long probably won't be the best move. Especially not with how things are going with animation at large.

While LO is the biggest on the WT platform, the platform itself still isn't as prestigious here in the west as say, DC or Marvel. Its platform and its comics just don't have that sort of longevity out here. LO is also undoubtedly nearing the end of its run and it's struggling to stay relevant as it is - so to make a show years down the road when it's long gone out of everyone's minds (which it will be as soon as it ends and WT starts shilling the next big thing) just sounds like a missed opportunity. It could rejuvenate interest, sure, but it could just as easily flop due to its fanbase having moved on/lost interest/etc. LO is pretty much reliant on WT's advertising at this point, it's not a good sign that WT has to keep putting notifications to read LO everywhere on the app. WT loooves the "strike while the iron is hot" methodology and now with the show they just drag it out? It feels less like striking the iron while it's hot and more like trying to get a fire going, period.

Like, when Nimona got its movie, it was like "omg Nimona's finally getting a movie!!!" but I can't help get the sense that if LO goes through that same treatment, the response is gonna be, "that gross comic with the underage girl and old man billionaire is still getting a TV show??" Maybe that's a mean assumption to make but if LO is struggling to stay relevant and in a positive light now, god knows what that's going to be like years from now if and when they do release a show.

Especially when it comes to comics like LO which generate so much criticism, I feel like it's going to go through the same thing Twilight did, where people adored it during the peak of its run but as soon as the series was over and the hype left everyone's brains it gave people room to actually reflect on it and realize how icky it was LOL (and if it goes the full way of Twilight, people will read it as a joke over how bad it is).

There are also theories in the community that a lot of what WT is doing with LO rn (paying for Rachel to be in the top billing spot at NYCC, getting her a second Eisner, etc.) could very well be them trying to "shop it around" for investors or a new network, by putting Rachel in the spotlight and going "see! look at how successful this comic is! buy it!" That's just a theory of course, but it really isn't a good look when LO wins awards and people ask why. It feels like WT's is trying to throw money at a problem without realizing what's causing the problem in the first place. It winning an Eisner or being hinted at a TV show or getting a top billing spot at NYCC won't give it legitimacy because the comic they're advertising is still garbage, they're trying to convince people it has merit when it doesn't. If anything, it'll make LO and WT lose even more credibility because it makes people wonder why the fuck a comic like LO is winning those awards and why it's being given more attention and opportunities over other comics on the platform that are far more deserving.

Anyways, this post is kinda all over the place, but that's my two cents, my point really is that if there is a show happening, it's definitely not happening soon (in spite of Rachel saying "yeah it's happening!") because there's no clear timeline or progress that's been made or even team in charge of it at this point - and if it happens down the road, its only chance of doing well will be if it gets a major overhaul in its writing IMO because the comic is way too much of a mess rn for television LOL

That said, I'd love to genuinely believe that the show will happen someday, but I feel like the best time for it to happen has passed, especially with the comic losing the quality and prestige it was sold to JHC for since then. That's just me though.

Wow a cut, what ever could be underneath it?! Is probably what you asked yourself. Well, trade secrets of course. That’s a joke. I don’t have any of those. But I decided to add a little list of where the stickers I scattered across my drawing come from as I can imagine you’re extremely curious about things I like besides Just Dance, right? Yeah of course you are. Otherwise you would have clicked off long ago. So we’re just going to go for it!

1. The 20 sided die next to my name stands for my love of Dungeon and Dragons (Forever DM tho) and other table top games.

2. The Spiderman logo stands for my love for Spiderman, although I will admit that I’ve never read the comics. If I had to pick, I’d say that the Spiderverse movies they got going on right now are probably my favourite Spidey related thing atm.

3. The Pokeball stands for my love for Pokemon. I have been playing those games since I was very young and they really helped to shape me as a person.

4. The cat next to my head is Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service. Another big thing that shaped me since I was a preteen is Ghibli movies, and Jiji felt ideal to represent this.

5. Is a pictogram from Just Dance. Of course I had to add one if those. It’s one of the pictograms for one of my favourite maps: Treasure

6. The brain with the glasses is one of the Sanders Sides logo’s. Since you find yourself on Tumblr I assume you know what Sanders Sides is. It’s the logo used for Logic (Logan), one of the sides I relate to the most.

7. Is the logo for Sex BobOmb which is the band thats featured in Scott Pilgrim. One of my favourite movies/animated series :)

8. The next sticker is a Plumbob from the Sims 4. If you have a little scroll on my blog you can see that I have a little series where I turn some Just Dance coaches into sims (inspired by others on here). So yeah I play it a little (I have over 900 hours in this game).

9. The red pixilated heart stands for Undertale, it is meant to represent the soul of the character you play as :) Undertale was probably the first fandom space I joined back in the day and it just means a lot to me.

10. The next one is meant to be a fossil from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Which is one of my favourite games. So I had to add it of course.

11. The next symbol looks like a 4 but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. It’s the logo for a series run by the streamer Ranboo called Generation Loss. Gen Loss is honestly one of my favourite series that has come out in recent times. It kind of resparked my creativity after being in a creative burn out for so long due to mental health issues. It’s really good and you should totally check it out if you can.

12. Is the logo for the Umbrella Academy. It’s honestly my favourite thing Netflix has ever produced and I love the series so much. It’s like right up my alley.

every day i laugh about how i followed you for your webcomic, and saw your yugioh art and was like "huh thats cool. i dont think i'll ever be into ygo but its cool to see art for it!" and then i fell assbackwards directly into the ygo fandom. and then i saw that you did tf2 art and i was like "huh that's cool. I'll never get into tf2 but the art is neat" and here i am drowning in how much i love tf2. do you have any other fandoms you want to try to get me into? anything niche? And I can certainly list some fandoms/things I've gotten really into! I feel like my interests are kinda scattered, but if you like both tf2 and yugioh too, yours might be too lol :']

Now, the number of fandoms I've participated in is fairly small. To keep this list tolerably short, I'll only mention the fandoms I have or currently look up content for.

Big Fandom things you've def already heard of or might already be into:

Fallout 4/Fallout - Were you here during my Fallout4 phase? It was after tf2, I think lol :0 If not, Fallout in general has a great aesthetic, some fun lore, fun characters, and a pretty extensive fandom :0 I also really loved the game itself, and I suck at fps games :']

Stardew Valley - I haven't really dove into fandom for it, I just look at the pretty art :'] (Elliot my beloved,,,)

Balders Gate - It lived up to the hype for me, I've loved playing it ^^ Haven't participated in the fandom for it myself, but I know there's plenty of people who make plenty of good stuff. Great characters :'] I do wanna draw my player characters,,,

Undertale/Deltarune - Don't let the fandom scare you from the games if you haven't already played them :'0 they're so genuinely good

Steven Universe - were you,,, were you here during my steven universe phase,,, just ignore the infamous part of the fandom :'0 (I did not enjoy Steven Universe Future, the spinoff, I'm sorry if I missed the point but it missed me,,,)

Smaller Fandom things:

Castlevania on Netflix - All of the characters are exceptional, the animation is exceptional, the story is action packed but the characters have room to breathe. Isaac is my favorite character, hands down!

Dislyte - yeah,,, it's a gacha game,,, and I don't even know if it's a good one lol BUT hear me out: the character art and the settling/world concept is so good. There's so much room for good stories, I just wish the game would give us more than what it currently has :'0 I'm currently writing a fix-it fic for the main game story :']

Tiger&Bunny on Netflix - It's an anime with two seasons, and I believe there's been two movies, and there's a short manga add-on (it's an anime first, so the manga is supplemental) It's about superheroes that are sponsored by their network to fight crime. I really enjoyed the characters and world building :0 BUT IT IS CRIMINAL WHAT THEY DID TO LUNATIC MY BELOVED they'd better walk it back if season 3 happens

Petshop of Horrors - I... I don't know what to say lol it's an older manga, and it might not be perfect, but something about it just got me idk. It's def the most niche thing on my list that still fits the criteria of 'I liked it enough to actively try and consume fan content of it'

I think it looks awesome so far and I'm optimistic about it! I liked the castlevania adaptations (same showrunner) so I'm hopeful this one will be of that quality :3

I'm excited to see Vergil yes. He's confirmed to appear alongside Lady and Dante who have been shown so far. The description for the show is pretty much a dead giveaway that it will be an adaptation of dmc3. As long as they stay true to the characters and their dynamics, I don't really care if they play around with different plot elements. I fully anticipate it to be some sort of AU. Bring it on.

I have some good anime recommendations :3

If you like mha, I recommend demon slayer, assassination classroom, and blue exorcist!(Hulu and Crunchyroll) They’re all super funny with a hint of angst and ofc supernatural powers are involved.

For coming of age animes, I recommend blue period(can watch on Netflix) and Stars Align(Hulu and Crunchyroll.)

The Stars Align fandom is sort of dead and I will recommend that anime even if someone tries to pry it from my stiff hands.

Also, Komi Can’t Communicate and Violet Evergarden are very good animes as well :3 they’re both on Netflix.

Favorite Anime Movie of Mine: Spirited Away.

You have no idea how much I love this film! The soundtrack, the animation, and the colors are just spectacular! It’s my comfort anime and I love it so much! You can find it on HBO Max(now max) and i highly recommend it!

Hi! Uh, I want to get into Sonic. Any shows/games you would reccomend starting with? An order? Also!! What's your favorite iteration of sonic (if you have one)

i think this might be THE question every sonic fan is dying to be asked. that is to say, hell yeah it would be my pleasure to make some recommendations >:] 

best things to try as a very first introduction to the hedgehog and friends (that are still relatively bitesized or accessible): 

the official animations for sonic mania, team sonic racing, chao in space, sonic colors, and most recently sonic frontiers. personal favorites are chao in space bc its adorable and frontiers for… obvious (knuckles) reasons (it’s about knuckles). these are short and sweet and absolutely adorable so they’re always some of the first things i recommend :] check ‘em out if you can - you won’t regret it. 

on that topic, Sonic Frontiers is a solid place to start with the games! it’s the most recent release so there’s currently a demo available on switch and it’s also on sale on steam right now (until Feb 13th!). few of the games directly lead into each other so picking specific games to start with is more down to personal taste, i’ll go into more detail if you’d like but for an introduction to the series? frontiers has been very well received and many consider it a return to form after the last few games, so it’s a good place to pick up the series! EDIT: I FORGOT ABOUT GENERATIONS. sonic generations is basically a Best-Of compilation of sonic’s most well known stages and it’s also perfect for a first time player. it was MY first game. how on earth did i forget about it. anyway it’s also on steam and it kicks ass!!!

alternately, much of the franchise was codified in the adventure games, so if you prefer starting at the beginning, they’re big recommendations as well! both Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are on steam and MANY playthroughs are online. SA2 was also the first of the sonic fandubs, so if you’ve seen any of those memes that’s where they’re from. 

also, if you’re into zelda games you’ll probably love frontiers. but if you prefer 2D/pixel art games, Sonic Origins just came out last summer and contains rereleases of the first four sonic games and Mania is always a fun option! alternately, try here for a taste of sonic 2 :] 

comics!! comics!!!!! the IDW Sonic The Hedgehog comics are killing it lately and double as canon and ridiculously fun. the first arc is issues 1-12 and if that won’t sell you on this funky little guy, well, there’s a lot more options too! you can find the IDW run here - but support your local comic shop if you can! 

for a little more bite-sized try the recent miniseries scrapnik island! it’s standalone from the main storyline and considering you’re a ninjago fan i think you’ll enjoy a fun story about morally complex robots :D 

the Archie series is amazing at times and so bad it’s funny at others - but what isn’t? while i am a HUGE fan it does require quite a bit of time and investment. other recommendations from the 300 issue+ legacy of sonic comics are available on request (i do not know how to shut up <3) 

tv shows!! Sonic Prime just released on Netflix and it slaps. not the most traditional sonic but it’s fun as hell and ongoing - we’re only ⅓ into the first season and there’s at least two guaranteed. the animation is astounding and it’s coincidentally produced by wildbrain just like current ninjago. i edited one of it’s kickass fight scenes here 

this is almost certainly far more than you need but i love talking about this series so thanks for humoring me :] i hope you enjoy them!! hmmm… they’ve all got their own appeal to me but lately i’ve been watching a lot of playthroughs while drawing (and i eagerly await the frontiers dlc so i have an excuse to replay it) and i think atm game sonic’s my favorite! the comics are delightful and the shows always have their own twists but i love good ‘ol game sonic… the others are more than just facets of his character and have their own great stories, but there’s something special about the original. this message brought to you by how absolutely astounding his characterization is in Sonic Unleashed. we missed you big guy. hope you have fun!!

That's a difficult question since I really like everything but for different reasons... also because I have a love/disappointment relationship with every single piece of this franchise 😔👍🤙

I watched all the movies, Prime, animated, Earthspark, the Netflix trilogy, half of rid2015, 2/3 of rescue bots, and I'm finishing the g1 cartoon. ( I also saw sparse episodes from Masterforce and victory, but one day, I'm gonna approach the Japanese continuity from the start... one day)

I have a soft spot for G1 because in this time of my life, I need silliness and plot bunnies. G1 is covering for my needs, so atm I'm biased 😭😅

Ask me the same question in a couple of months, and the answer will probably change

2 years ago, I would have answered, "i will never anything more than Prime." Ooooh, I really love that series. Animated is at the same level as Prime to me and broke me just as much...

Also, I know it's controversial, and I can see the very obvious flaws, but... I feel like the Netflix trilogy was... good. Listen, other than the comics and maybe the wfc videogames, I feel like I've never felt the war more real. Like yes, please. I know many people judge it as angsty and stuff, but hear me out! SOME ASPECT OF THE SHOW WERE ACTUALLY PRETTY EFFING AWESOME RAAAAAAAAAH

Critical Role Campaign 2 (a bunch of co-dependent people with a lot of dick jokes and the most tragic backstories you've ever heard save the world. Also, the actors playing them are all best friends.)

Heartstopper (will make your heart melt)

Young Royals (royalty and scandal, my favorite combo)

One Piece (the live action one, so fun)

Arcane (gorgeous animation, great story)

Disenchantment (fun and cute but with a proper plot and a queer MC)

Shadow and Bone (they canceled it and I might just strangle someone at Netflix for it)

Queer Eye (always up to bring some more love and joy into your life)

Please Like Me (relatively unknown Australian show about the most awkward man you've ever seen. Perfectly captures the weird feeling of being in your early 20s.)

Bonding (student who works as a dominatrix, and her best friend/assistant try to navigate sex work, classes and their love lives)

Sandman (magical, beautiful, atmospheric and a little creepy)

Call the Midwife (follows a group of midwives in post-WW2 London)

This is exactly how Bats of Gotham went from being a lone fanfic series exclusively about the Batfamily and Gotham’s villains to being part of a full on DC rewrite au. Batman got me into DC, but as time has gone on I’ve grown to love Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, the Titans, the Green Lanterns and so many more.

I am a huge Batfam fanboy don’t get me wrong, but there are so many amazing characters that don’t get nearly enough love. If you love Batman and the Batfam, I highly recommend checking out other characters because they are just as amazing!

Justice League: The Animated Series is on Netflix atm and is a great way to get invested in some non-Bat characters (Batman is there but is not the main focus). I got my love of the Flash from the CW show and while later seasons of that show (in my opinion) are not good, seasons 1-3 are great and season 4 is fine. Actually if you like Batman you may enjoy Arrow (it’s not the best depiction of Green Arrow but it is a fun show with a lot of different characters). My Adventures with Superman is also a fantastic animated show about Superman that I would highly recommend. I also watch a lot of YouTube channels that talk about DC with some of my favourites being Casually Comics and Implicitly Pretentious, but there are so many others that you should be able to find someone you like.

Another channel I would highly recommend is Troyoboyo17 as he does very well done movie pitches for superhero movies, and his prewrite of the Batman 2 is what inspired me to write Bats of Gotham in the first place, while his various Superman movie pitches are what inspired me to expand the au.

I could honestly make this post so much longer but I’m going to leave it there as I think I’ve gotten my point across.

The day when people stop acting like Batman and the Bat family are the only characters in DC is the day I die happy. I understand that DC loves to mainly focus on them but damn branch out a little and learn about other characters.

Ok real quick gonna propose an idea for that powerpuff girls reboot:

But it if they really must (they shouldn’t!), there’s some better ways I think they could go about it, as well as what I’ve seen floating around (like don’t).

Pretty much all of these are assuming they’ll go the gritty reboot route because that’s pretty popular atm. A dark gritty take on anything is getting a bit tired, I think people are more open to weird and sincere stories, whether they’re adaptations or original. But recently a lot of comics (good comics!) 10+ years old are getting faithful adaptations (good adaptations!) and reviving that early/mid 2000’s taste for “what if Superman, but bastard?”

Aright one route they could go would be like that of Samurai Jack season 5 on Adult Swim. Written and animated by the original team and keeping to its truest nature while maturing it a bit along with the original fan base and maybe have an overarching plotline. The difference being that keeping it like the original ppg would create a stronger contrast with more mature and brutal violence, similar to Invincible’s friendly neighborhood Spider-man vibes and use of graphic violence.

This would be the second best way to adapt besides not doing it at all..... but that would also take more money and might not last beyond a season, ending with a solid conclusion like Samurai Jack did. Plus I’m semi doubtful the original team would be on board to drag out the girls’ story, especially like this.

Addressing the leaked script, a common comparison made was to the Netflix adaptation of The Umbrella Academy. Both are loose adaptations about child superhero siblings coming together after years of being apart, dealing with childhood trauma and their parent’s wrecklessness as adults.

And talking monkey.

Where Umbrella Academy made changes for the sake of depth and character development amidst the sci-fi madness, the CW Powerpuff Girls script attempted to be edgy and gross for the sake of being edgy and gross. They just want to be mature and topical while ignoring everything enjoyable about the original. It also just straight up sucks. I’m no writer but it seems like a lot of people who are writers are pretty pissed about paid professionals pushing this to the point of post-production. Well not post production, it was being filmed, but I enjoy alliteration. That’s also pretty far into development for something this bad, while it was rejected and is being reworked, it still got approved by enough people to shoot a pilot. If the leaked script itself isn’t a marketing ploy, I imagine that’s the real reason it was shut down. CW probably would’ve went through with it, otherwise. Maybe just keep it cancelled, yeah? Yeah.

This idea isn’t mine either but instead of the child star allegory, it could be more interesting to sort of see it carry on from where it left off, as the continued adventures of the powerpuff girls. Similar to the The Venture Bros. (a show I have not watched but know vaguely about, again this is someone else’s thought, I just think it sounds good) the girls can be grown up but start to realize they want to explore their lives and goals as individuals outside of heroism.

This at least appeals to me because you can keep the show’s status quo, keep the characters together, and have them grow into better more interesting characters as opposed to starting with a dour world where everyone is dead or just worse insufferable people. Instead, begin where audiences are comfortable and open to a new interpretation then let the characters realize there’s more to life and explore what kind of people they can become. (Or just don’t do it.)

Also just hear me out, but maybe, possibly? perhaps the professor was a good dad in the original cartoon? And let’s keep that? Let him remain a wholesome father figure? Is that okay? Don’t make this reboot? But if they do, keep him a nice loving parent?

Since this is the CW/ Warner bros who own DC comics, the best case scenario (cancelled) would be to make it more like the MANY SUPERHERO SHOWS THEY ALREADY MAKE. The good ones, anyway. I’m pretty sure the girls have crossed over with some DC characters in the cartoon already, why not make them canon DC characters? Maybe not. Could be cool! Better not, though. But they could still model the show after some of their better shows. Flash, Arrow, Supergirl are all not bad depending who you ask. I just finished Gotham, that was neat. Superman and Lois sounds like it’s pretty good so far. Powerpuff girls would better suit an earnest, straightforward, lighthearted take. Keep the humor, idk maybe up the violence to keep it dark and cool if that’s what people want (we don’t) and have it contrast with family drama like Invincible. All that to say that a darker, comical, well-written, DC-ish superhero thing they should look to for reference should be Doom Patrol.

This show fuckin litty. It’s like the better parts of Legends of Tommorow and Titans put together, as in it’s super weird and dumb but in a way that’s fun and moving. I recently rewatched season one as refresher before getting into season two and dammit if it didn’t get me in my feels amidst the quarantine. It’s about broken people working through their issues and pulling themselves together to help one another. Admittedly, it doesn’t have the best representation of those with disassociative identity disorder, as one character sometimes referred to as “Crazy” Jane has a different superpower with each of her alters. The character is very much a product of the 80’s but the writers of the show do their best to show that Jane respects the alters and their free will. But it also deals with topics of abuse, self-image, trauma, disabilities, homophobia, discrimination, and more in a way that gave me some catharsis while watching after all that’s been going on the past couple of years. Aside from all the comedy and action, it all flows together naturally, which is what you want in any series, not just your gritty superhero show. Doom Patrol is also batshit weird, every episode feels almost self contained/ freak-of-the-week while still following the main overarching plot, and Powerpuff Girls is very much like that, without the bigger plot or mature themes (as it should remain, let it be). Many will find it vaguely similar to The Umbrella Academy because GERARD WAY WAS INSPIRED BY DOOM PATROL TO WRITE THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY. The og comics, not the show, but still.

We don’t need more sequels and reboot cash grabs, there’s plenty of up and coming writers with good original ideas waiting for their shot. And even with all those new edgy shows and movies, some of which are actually not bad, not everything needs to be so grim. Like sure Teen Titans Go! is a goofy reboot but it’s still just a fun dumb cartoon, it’s not bad, I bet that other ppg show was also just fine. okay! so. starting with me ig. i dont even know how to begin.

im listening to music atm. i always do - people that dont always listen to some music are kinda psychopaths if you ask me. like, if im not listening to music, i'll be listening to an audiobook or a podcast or be watching some video or netflix. i cant not do anything. i say i love reading, but the last time i read a book has been weeks ago. i just have reading slumps sometimes. not saying that i dont read regularly - god, no. i'll find enough fanfics and oneshots and shit to count for a book. but most of the time i can spare, i try to write. and at the moment, im really doing good! i write drabbles almost daily, and i try to finish a chapter for my actual wip bi-weekly. which... i gotta admit doesnt work all the time but im trying! im just a shit ton of a procrastinator. like, sometimes it physically hurts telling myself i need to do something but not being able to get up and actually do it. i kinda zone out a lot too when im forced to sit through something boring or just when i cant listen to music/watch something at the same time. i fidget a lot, too. so basically as you can see im always doing something, always have something going on inside my head, am quite loud. like, literally, im the loudest person i know, except for maybe my dad, and im really expressive. could be italian with how much i gesture.

for my hobbies, well, ive told you about some of them so far. im not really... sporty. in the slightest. and i dont like sports either. but the one thing i do indeed like is badminton, which i do somewhat regularly. i think i'd suck at quidditch, but, unlike football, i do believe i'd be interested in watching. also i just really want to fly a broom - like, if i could pick any animal to be, i'd be a bird. always would have said so in the past too. maybe a cat, just because i really love them, and am planning to get one as soon as i get my own apartment. i'll take one from the shelter, i think, and if i could pick it'd be a black one so i can call it toothless. i do have a dog right now tho, or rather my family does. i love her, but she's not as cuddly as i'd like her to be, which, i mean, is fine im trying my best not to step over her boundaries, but then again my love language most certainly is physical touch, so my favourite moments with her are when she just allows me to cuddle her in front of the fireplace. its kind of a tradition at this point when theres fire in there. what else is there to say?

i guess im really insecure of some things. dont get me wrong, i know my strengths, and i fucking love correcting people, my ego is over the moon sometimes. im stubborn and i hate being wrong and i know that im obnoxious when i discuss, just because i cannot stop discussing if theres still something to discuss. but im trying to better, really. some of it at least. still, i am in fact really insecure it seems. i worry so much what people might think of me - i cant present anything to anyone other than my closest family or friends because my voice will start to shake and i will start to sound like im gonna cry. on the topic of that, i cry so so easily. its horrible, really. plus, i have huge anxiety and i get panic attacks regularly, which kinda fucks with my sleeping schedule because they always happen when i go to bed.

but getting on with it. when im excited, im kinda... like a child, in a way. like i let out unnecessarily high pitched screams and i cant stop laughing when ive started, and i clap my hand in front of my mouth or shake my arms out. im just really, really emotional tbh.

my favourite feeling is melancholy though. its... beautiful, in a very terrifying way. its the kind of feeling you get when you think about your childhood, or old friends, or family members you dont see anymore. its a feeling but its so much more and - i dont know. i dont know how it couldnt be my favourite.

i love sunrises and sunsets and i love the sun in general. im a summer person, partly because im always really cold (my circulation in my hands and my feet is fucked lmao, plus my blood ran low on iron for a while) but like, its summer, i dont get how it cant be people's favourite. plus, my birthday is in june, and my birthday is my favourite holiday. with christmas following.

Did I ever tell you all how much I enjoy watch lego cartoons movies & shows like unikitty and ninjago?

Anyway there’s this lego cartoon called monkey kid (I think that’s what it’s called not sure) I wanna watch but I live in Australia and only got prime and Netflix (and all I got is my phone and iPad atm annnd stuck in lockdown :/ ) I only know about this lego cartoon through a awesome Instagram artist who’s been drawing these cute fanarts for it and would like to watch it does anyone know if it’ll come to Netflix or prime? Or do I gotta look online somewhere to be able to watch it? With lego unikitty cartoon I was lucky to find DVD of it’s 1st season to watch it (I also have some lego unikitty sets I’d like to build when I Finley find a display case that’ll fit all my lego in once I build them)
