Kinda pissed Oliver didn’t even put at least Leo Snart and Ray Terrill on earth prime, like- there isn’t even a doppelgänger issue cause Leonard DIED, and Ray Terrill is literally from earth one. the fact that they fit almost all the qualifications for an earth prime crossover, I mean Leo is close with the legends and The flash, and Ray Terrill knows almost everyone including Vixen.

Please note that I am writing this at 2:30 am, but like- Christ Oliver, I know we can’t merge earth-x with earth prime, but why can’t I just have this one thing.

Shaking his head, Tim said, “He’s overhyped. I don’t get the excitement. He’s no Nat King Cole, that’s all I’m saying.”

This made Lucy start laughing. Shaking her head, she said, “You are such an old curmudgeon sometimes.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Tim rolled his eyes, unable to hold back a smile despite himself. Because even with the relentless teasing, spending Christmas with Lucy was way better than some of the past Christmases he’d had. Even when he was with Isabel, their schedules had kept them so busy that a lot of Christmases had been lonely. After they’d split up, it had only gotten worse.

Now— in Lucy’s apartment, a small tree sparkling in the corner and the smell of baking cookies coming from the oven— Tim could barely imagine life back then. He was luckier than he could begin to describe. So instead of trying, he just dropped a kiss against Lucy’s temple, warmth spreading through his chest.

Honestly, I hate that the decade of separation has been turned into nothing. No one cares any more! It doesn't matter to their relationship at all, it doesn't matter to their feelings, nothing about Phu literally leaving Nan for a decade to fall into depression has made even the tiniest difference to anything when it was portrayed as this huge, life changing lie and now... no one cares. Nan accepted his feelings without a single hesitation and there's no fear at all of being left now and I just... why bother? It may as well have never happened! Augh. I hate this kind of plot abandonment.

There was so much room for an interesting story and they just ditched it entirely.

i'm still so disappointed that potd wasn't a bodyswap episode. think about it. think about it. the master turns on the machine. the machine suddenly stops and the doctor stumbles out. "everything is fine," she says. "the master's plan, it didn't work!" yaz believes this because her faith in the doctor is so absolute that she believes that the doctor would just magically not be affected by the master's plan. they fly off in the tardis together as the doctor smiles. the camera lingers on her smile for just a moment too long. over the next few scenes, as they deal with the cybermen or whatever, it becomes increasingly obvious that this is not the doctor. the things she says, the actions she takes, hell, even her simplest mannerisms aren't hers. and yaz realizes. they're the master's. his plan did work. he lied to her, and now she's in real danger. yaz having to defeat the master somehow while they wear the face of a person she adores, commandeering the tardis from them, and going back to the machine room. and there's the doctor, the real doctor, in the master's body. together they figure out how to reverse the effects and swap back again, but something went wrong. the forced regeneration was too much stress on the doctor's body, and now she's regenerating for real. as she realizes this, yaz looks at the doctor and realizes she will never truly be able to trust the her again because of how the master lied to her, and asks to be taken home.

just think about it. yaz having an actual reason to leave other than the doctor going "bye now!" giving thirteen a reason to regenerate that wasn't "hit by large, slow moving beam". not to mention that whittaker and dhawan playing each other's characters would be so fucking delicious. chibnall i will never forgive you for this absolute waste of an opportunity

Imo you use that word for someone you are truly, deeply in love with. This person is your world, your everything, you can’t live without them.

On the other hand, you use that word for someone you’re extremely possessive of. You call someone that and they’re yours for all of eternity, whether they like it or not. No one else can have them because they’re yours if they know or not is completely irrelevant.

#Mouthwashing #blood #body horror #Emphasizing here that this is in reference to a media and character and not a cry for help on my end.#Mouthwashing is one of those games that tickles my brain and checks all the boxes for my niche interests -#-but it wasn't something that got the silly comic part in my cortex firing up. My analysis brain is eating well though!#What said...It is impossible for me to see this scene and not say out loud: “Me in the middle of my work day".#While there is a lot more going on with curly I personally resonated a lot with his struggles with burnout.#Burnout feels like mouthwash to me. That you keep rinsing out your mouth trying to get rid of the rotting smell #but it's just surface level solutions. The real cure requires something far more significant to actually make a difference.#The job 'is hard' and 'everyone struggles'. It's part of the process right? You're tired? Anxious? Depressed? Us too! Chin up!#Actually I resonated with a lot of things within Curly (this is a curly positive space - he's not perfect. He's just human).#One thing being his desire to see the good in people and believe in their potential.#Because here's the thing. Some people truly do just need someone in their corner who stands by them so they can grow and improve.#And some people will take advantage of your kindness. You focus so much on their humanity while you stop being a person to them.#The horrifically toxic relationship persists because Curly tries to see the bigger picture and believes in the good within.#Anyone who has lived through constantly trying to reframe the hurt as something else knows-#-just how many excuses your brain will make to avoid cognitive dissonance. It's human psychology.#Jimmy sucks so bad. But we the audience have the privilege of not having years of baggage associating him in our minds as 'friend'.

Couldn’t stop thinking about Dust being able to pass as Classic. So I had an idea where Dust replaces Classic in a timeline and steals(?) his partner.

He gets conflicted when he starts actually caring about you… But denial is an easy road to take when there’s seemingly no consequences to your actions.

The reveal i guess. Most normal reaction to learning your partners been replaced for god knows how long and you have no clue where he is.

Now that I think about it I might’ve gotten some inspiration from that one chapter of IJAG by @htsan (iykyk) only a lil bit tho
