Bruce and Tim realised something odd about Stark Industries. Ever since a few months ago the technology being produced there had improved by an unbelievable amount. It was futuristic, nothing that this world has seen before. And the weirdest part of it is the fact that Tony Stark had offered to partner up with Wayne Enterprises. THE Tony Stark, Iron Man, the most egotisical man they knew had willingly offered to partner up with them? After years of being petty with Bruce and the JL?

Tim had been made to prepare to become the new CEO soon, thus he recently started taking up more work at Wayne Enterprises when the agreement was made. Though instead of Tony being the one to talk about ideas it was an unknown woman communicating with him about the ideas, the product, the marketing, etc. And the merge of the two companies was an absolute success, the marketing especially drawing in young adults. Who was the mysterious women though? Well both Bruce and Tim could only come to one solution. The least known character to Bruce, to Batman, which says a lot considering the fact that he had made a contingency plan for every Avenger, every hero, including his own teammates, including himself, yet this one character was completely unknown, zero plans if she were to go rogue. And that drove Bruce crazy. Her file was blank. Every vital information was marked with the word 'unknown'. It had been making Bruce paranoid for years since she had appeared next to the Avengers.

The reassurance from the Avengers never helped. It was as if something was gnawing at him. After all how could he trust them anyways? (careful Bruce your trust issues are showing)

One of the only things they knew about her is that she is the main hacker/coder for the Avengers, hence the reason why the Avengers digital security was admittedly better than the Justice League's and how much faster they got, what should be, classified information. (no matter how much Bruce wants to deny it)

And her codename, Special Agent Reaper. No she wasn't originally an Avenger, she was crowned the most skilled assassin of this era, working under S.H.I.E.L.D and one of the sole reasons why all of the HYDRA agents that have sneaked into S.H.I.E.L.D have been successfully taken out, her name would pass by in the wind every so often, they might be rumours or the truth but no one truly knows. Hell even Ra's Al Ghul, The Demon’s Head, had acknowledged her once. Even Talia had admitted that Damian's fighting technique was made to mirror The Reaper's, the only difference is he used katanas while the Reaper, fittingly, uses a scythe.

But one thing was for sure. If you saw the shadow of a hooded figure you better run, though at that point it might be too late.

As the saying goes, "Beware of the Grim Reaper. Wherever it goes death follows closely behind.”

“Ah! Brucie! Here you are!” Tony said, wine in hand as he approached Bruce at the gala. Well that was a first. He usually never played into the Brucie persona. Well nonetheless the show must go on.

“Tony!” Bruce threw himself at the other billionaire, acting as if he was drunk, ignoring the way Tony’s expression turned into a grimace for a split second.

As usual, they were both around other pretentious socialites who never seemed to run out of questions.

“Ah! Tony, I heard Stark Industries have been bringing in more money than ever.”

“Oh yes! It’s all because of this prodigy i had found. She actually was the reason why Stark Industries and Wayne Enterprises had a collab. I might even give the company to her when I retire!" He let out a laugh that seems to emanate the word 'rich', a small smirk stayed on his lips as he heard the guests at the gala begin to whisper.

"Oh? Is that so? Then I would love to meet the person I have been working with this entire time." Tim Drake-Wayne said as he finally came out of the corner where he would usually stay in to observe rather than interact.

"Be my guest." A subtle challenge, as if Tony was daring him to go through with it as they locked eyes. A smirk on one face while a well practiced smile on the other.

Bruce let out a light hearted laugh as he tightened his grip around Tony, a subtle warning to stay away from his son, "Well then I wouldn't mind arranging a meeting! I'm sure you wouldn't mind the others joining." His tone had a slight change that even the most observant wouldn't realise.

Bruce could barely keep up the 'Brucie' act with Tony bragging about how Stark Enterprises profits have shot up with him finding a 'prodigy' and someone who will take over the company once he retires.

"Not at all. The more the merrier. I assume you wouldn't mind me inviting more people as well." Tony sipped his wine, he wasn't one to back out from a challenge, especially when he is so confident.

This certainly wasn't how the Justice League and the Avengers expected their next meeting to happen. A petty fight between the two men that singlehandedly funds their respective teams causing all of them to be in one room together.

"Well then, Stark. Where is this prodigy that you speak so highly of?" Bruce said as he sported his famous batglare.

"I assure you she is on her way. She should just be right about done with her mission." Tony replied with the same tone, shooting a glare as well.

Meanwhile the two teams were watching this as if it was the most entertaining show they have seen.

After a long & agonising recovery, Poseidon storms up to Ithaca, absolutely enraged about what has happened. That Little Shit of a Mortal daring to Power Bottom him after using his own fucking weapon to fucking mutilate him, THEN LETTING HIMSELF BE CLAIMED BY HIS BROTHER!???!?!!!!?!?!? This will NOT stand.

Cut to seven years of bafflement on what has transpired, confusion on where everyone could of possibly gone, intense wrestling w/ obsessive n certain feelings towards this fucking Lil’ Guy, more confusion as The Ocean, Land & even the bloody Underworld are practically ripped apart to try and find where the fuck The Population of Ithaca could of gone off to.

Normally, The Gods never rlly cared about such an obsessive search, but when an entire fucking society just. Disappears out of nowhere. With absolutely no warning, explanation or any trace of what happened. You start to become very keen to involve urself with such a noticeable event.

For seven years this went on, Humanity also becoming keenly aware of the shift in atmosphere that surrounded The Gods, how they have become Extremely Restless and more Physically Present.

It’s an adjustment, but they get used to it.

Once, seeing Zeus steadily zip across The Sky in a humanoid form, swirling clouds & crackles of electricity shifting around his Divine Body would of been a breathtakingly rare sight of telling something important was happening,,,, now. To be blunt, not many care anymore.

Seven years of tension, worry + some existential retrospect, and then finally.

I started watching Burning Spice Cookie's flashback in the game and suddenly I started thinking "is that all? How stupid" because there are characters older than him and who apparently haven't had this problem of "boredom from "same old thing" so he leaves the Burning Spice Cookie thing as childish. but then I started thinking, what if I developed this? You see, if a person doesn't have a proper childhood they can develop psychopathic traits (more or less what I've seen in Burning Spice Cookie) so what if he and the other Beasts didn't have childhoods? We are not given any clue that they have grown, which gives us to understand that they appeared among the common cookies as adults.

Imagine that you barely have time to know your own name and suddenly you are thrown into... (I don't know, a battle?) expecting you to help calm everything down. What if, as soon as Burning Spice Cookie was born, he began to be burdened with many responsibilities and having to fight to unify Beast-Yeast into one nation? It would be a good reason why he "got bored" with everything, since some psychopaths have that trait of enjoying causing harm or hating monotony and social rules (it could also be an explanation for your au's Burning Spice Cookie).

I am SO glad someone else sees the problem with Burning Spice's "boredom". We have a million immortal characters in this universe and not a single one has had this issue with their lives. The Ancients live forever thanks to the Soul Jam, and they don't seem bothered by it at all (hell, look at Golden Cheese. She is actively pursuing immortality, for herself and especially for her loved ones). The Elementals are immortal, and they have zero complaints about it. Millennial Tree and Sugar Swan are older than the world itself, do you see them crying about it? Nope. They live and carry out their duties happily. You don't even see this with the ones that actually WERE mortal once. Fire Spirit? He loves who he is now, he's said so out loud in cutscenes in Ovenbreak. Sherbet? Though he misses being with Cotton, he otherwise loves being free to travel and see the world almost entirely unburdened, the way he always dreamed. Frost Queen? She adopted her role and upholds the balance of nature with grace. Life and immortality are only what YOU make of them. The Beasts are a bunch of stupid, selfish babies. The end.

"Not having a childhood" IS an interesting point to raise, though. You're absolutely right: having a tumultuous youth can and often does lead to psychological issues of all kinds, big and small ask me how I know lol. And for all we really know, they WERE born adults right from the jump. How Cookies are born and how they age are SUPER weird in this series and neither is ever explained properly besides "baked in oven", so... What's keeping anyone from imagining characters just born fully grown right away?

With this in mind, and with the points you've raised, we can maybe look at the Beasts like this: people who were brought into the world without being asked (although no one is), and burdened with nigh-impossible responsibility right away. Immediately told to sacrifice themselves for people they do not know or care about, who do not know them or care about them. To uphold a balance they may not understand, nor did they create themselves. Never having been allowed the chance to live and grow as all sapient beings are entitled to; to go out and have fun and be foolish and make mistakes that they end up learning from. They were born abnormal, and they never never allowed to escape that abnormality once. They live only for others, never for themselves, not even for small things. One has to wonder if they even counted as people at all in the eyes of those they fought for, or if they were just archetypes whose faces and actions were used to placate and justify whatever anyone wanted them to.

... Yeah, that sounds pretty shitty when you put it that way lol. It just goes to show how the Ancients are the true rightful owners of the Soul Jam, in my opinion. They EARNED that power, it was not given to them on a silver platter. They were able to live life as regular mortals for a while, then actively sought out that power and proved themselves worthy of it. Hollyberry united an entire region of warring houses. Dark Cacao tamed dragons and brought peace to a long-devastated land. Pure Vanilla endured the many arduous trials of the Sugar-Free Road in pursuit of truth and enlightenment. These are all things that require hard work, dedication, humility, and a certain wisdom that you gain from experiencing life in general. Wisdom that the Beasts may or may not have possessed, because they may or may not have ever been able to attain it in the first place.

As for my Yandere AU Spice... Yandere Spice is well and truly a psychopath (all the Yandere Beasts are). It's the thing you see often with actual stalkers: he's more in love with the IDEA of Golden Cheese than the woman herself, as she actually exists. It's all about what HE wants, what HE needs, what HE expects from her. Pure, utter selfishness, projection and delusion, as psychopaths are fundamentally incapable of empathizing with others (that's what marks them as psychopaths in the first place). With the Accidental Yandere Golden Cheese one, he's the same, but A) leaning a bit more into his bloodlust/enjoyment of harming others (which is also common in psychopaths, like you said), and B) him actually being clever/manipulative enough (at least to some degree) to know how to play into Golden's wants and feed her ego in order to sway her (Golden in this AU is also just kind of a fucked up person on her own, independent of Spice, so it's an unlucky combination). She's not "boring" like everything and everyone else is. She captivates him, she surprises him, she keeps him on his toes. He "loves" her. Therefore, he owns her and vice versa, and he will do whatever it takes to have her all to himself, up to and including hurting and killing innocents (it's not like they mattered, anyway). What caused him to be this way ultimately does not matter; maybe it's that overwhelming burden of responsibility and lack of a choice or a chance to live life that we addressed earlier. Perhaps he was just born broken. Whatever it is, he's a bloodthirsty, selfish, uncaring monster and it is Golden Cheese that he has chosen to make pay for it, unfortunately.

TL;DR Not liking immortality is a skill issue. The Beasts are dumb little crybabies. Yandere Spice is disgusting and should face a wall. I like writing deranged people far too much. I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversation with others about things. Thank you for the ask, I vibe with your thoughts and ideas, I hope you find lots of money on the ground today

I love that the “hero” is still the absolute worst in season 2.

Let us explore the evidence.

Spoilers below:

1. Does not get on the plane to be a father to his child… his supposed motivation to earn money in the first place. Even when he has billions. In fact he’s become even more distant and unreliable, not even communicating with her any longer.

2. Promises to care for that girl’s younger brother but dumps him off on an old woman without explanation and a bag of cash. Continues to watch this old woman raise this random kid while working her old bones off in an outdoor market. Just like he watched his own mother work herself to death to care for his fully grown butt.

3. Does not use his considerable fortune to get the kid’s mom out of North Korea - just does the bare minimum with one broker.

4. Hoards his wealth to pursue his private obsession. Spends two years wasting away in his private hobby hotel and still does not have a solid plan or even good ideas about how to handle the murder island - and has not attempted to outsource this large problem to others better equipped to solve it.

5. Still has not realized the old man’s gamble at the end of season one with the homeless man only required that HE go down and help the dude or go down and get someone else to work with him to help the dude instead of just watching and hoping something would happen (This is arguably the theme of the show).

6. Gets back into the game but does not tell a single soul it’s a murder machine until AFTER they have all signed up, been photographed, and marched onto the field to be slaughtered.

7. Did not check in on or help his friend from season one, even though they were still in the same city and his friend was struggling. Now that poor sod is also in the game.

8. Doesn’t make his impassioned speech to convince others not to continue the game after round one - nope, not until over half have already voted and his own side is losing.

9. When the majority votes to continue the game, he makes no attempt to try to reason with or plead with those who voted to stay, even though they only lost by a narrow margin. The entire group stays divided and refuses to work together. Ironically it is two characters from the other, majority side who make a point to reach out to him. One of them shares his personal story of why he voted the way he did - swaying hearts and minds - which is ironically what our “hero” should have done. Except he doesn’t have a sad story of circumstances - he is the sad story.

10. Later our male lead finally thinks it’s time to perhaps attempt to sway some hearts and minds and is instantly talked out of it cause it might stir up trouble… in the murder game… the irony…

11. The completely haphazard plan to take over the facility by disarming the uniformed guards. Even though he knew they were outnumbered, there is surveillance everywhere, and he had zero plan of what to do next. Leaving the majority of his “team” to fend for themselves (and be murdered) while he secured the strongest among them to hide in wait.

HE IS THE WORST.

Is it a case of being your own worst enemy, of mental illness, of selfishness, stupidity? Is it soupical tendencies born from disappointments? Is it just in our DNA?

I don’t know. But I do think this show has gone to great lengths to show us repeatedly that the male lead is someone who doesn’t know how to care for others.

His sweet daughter loves him dearly but you could already see she was old enough to be disappointed in him. There was pity there too.

Money can’t change your bad habits or your crap personality.

This man didn’t even invest his money so that at least the interest could fund a few orphanages or homeless shelters in perpetuity. Nope, he’s got it sitting around on a mattress.

I also find it interesting how many older women are still trying to raise fully grown men in this show. The male lead’s mom. The mother of his dead friend who our male lead tosses another son onto. The mom contestant in season 2. There’s too many for it not to be commentary.

I’m glad we have shows like this though. Cause there are no easy answers. This island is just a symptom of a larger problem, one that can’t be fought alone. It will take many heads coming together to even start to unravel the mess we are in.

Anyways… looking forward to the finale. I would not be surprised if our lead male becomes a new commander of the games at the end.

Tbh I can't help but feel deeply sorry for the both of them

SPOILERS FOR WICKED PART 2

When you look at it, Nessa lost both her father and sister in a very short amount of time. It is very clear that her father doted on her and Elphie was very protective of her.

So Nessa lost both these very important figures in her life and she was thrown into a position of power she was a) too young to handle, and b) absolutely and completely unprepared for.

So of FREAKING COURSE she would form an unhealthy emotional dependency on the one support she still has, ie Boq. And she would be terrified of Boq leaving her, because that's what people Nessa loves do. Her mother died, her father died, her sister became a terrorist. What if Boq leaves? Boq who said he didn't care about Nessa's disability? Boq who called her wonderful and beautiful and amazing? No Boq loves her, Boq wouldn't leave, Boq cannot leave.

So Nessa will do whatever she can to ensure that Boq won't leave. And of COURSE when he does leave she snaps.

Nessa was never inherently evil, she was a young girl with abandonment issues who was pushed to the extreme (and no I am not saying her being Ashamed of Elphie was a good thing, but again Nessa was young and pushed by her father into an unhealthy relationship with her sister ever since childhood).

As for Boq - listen Boq is in the beginning a kind guy. Not the smartest, but he didn’t MEAN to harm anyone. He had a crush on Galinda, and Galinda manipulated him into asking Nessarose out as a pity case. That is cruel towards Nessa, and Boq knows that. That's why when Nessa asks him if that's the case, Boq can't bring himself to say the truth. And the more he waits the worse it becomes, because then he finds himself becoming the only emotional support for this girl and how freaking cruel would it be to tell her "yes it was always because you were in the chair"?

And then Nessa starts losing it and Boq literally CANNOT leave at that point because Nessa won't LET him. He is trapped and I am sorry but having your entire people enslaved is an absolutely unjust punishment for being an ableist idiot that one night in college ok?

And the fact is, he completely misunderstood the reason WHY Nessa is so attached to him. He doesn't understand that Nessa is a lonely girl with zero emotional support because all of her family is dead or gone, he thinks the problem is that Nessa is lonely because she is disabled. And he believes that because that's how their relationship was initially framed, and since he couldn't bring himself to admit it to Nessa (first out of pity and then out of genuine fear) that initial framing was never challenged.

So when Elphie in the musical makes it so Nessa can walk, obviously the first thing Boq does is trying to leave because he completely misunderstood why Nessa didn't want him to leave in the first place.

And again this is NOT a justification for how Boq then blames it all on Elphaba. The point is that blaming Elphaba is easy. Elphaba is the scapegoat because it is much easier to say "that Wicked Witch made it happen" that to examine the absolute emotional mess that brought them to the point where no one will mourn Nessa when she gets crushed by a house and Boq becomes a walking tin.

I just - they're such a mess and I can't wait to see how the movie will handle it.

Being a Wicked fan whose favourite characters are Boq and Nessarose is so hard because for a fandom for media so focused around the idea of complex morality, a lot of Wicked fans seem to have no understanding of complex morality and as a result so many of them fail to grasp the idea that "Boq did not deserve anything that Nessa did to him in act 2 and it is in no way his fault" and "Nessarose was not inherently and irredeemably evil from the start" are both true statements. So basically I'm trying not to participate in Wicked discourse at least until Wicked Part 2 comes out and I see more of their relationship in the movie.

Here's my TurboTime Dev oc

About damn time I actually introduced him, for some reason I had zero motivation to post this guy. But now i'm finally showing him off cuz one, I needed too, and two he's gonna be in another au lol.

SO. Me and my two friends @dani-be-existing @sunn-e-bunare made this au called Deadstock about three game developers that are in a Poly relationship (we call it a polycule lol). And they go through absolute hell (who would've guessed).

So Tucker Tatum is one of the two game Devs of TurboTime, The other Dev being Kensuke ←(link to Ken's character intro). He is a fucking idiot and a loser, Think of Grunkle Stan and Turbo in one person but worse. Yeah, that's Tucker.

Bro has some bad anger issues and hates kids. Which sucks for him cuz Ken and his wife have a kid and they both hate each other (Ain't no way this grown ass man has beef with a 9 year old 😭😭😭).

Tucker is the Game coder/programmer while Ken was the pixel art and visual game designer.

Tucker being the loser he is he vents in his game coding (Uh Oh, shouldn't have done that Tucker).

One day Tucker and Ken got into a heated argument and then Tucker just left the room leaving Ken alone. After left the house and grabbed a couple of beers to calm his nerves, Tucker came back to the house and into the room to apologize and share a drink or two but to his horror all he sees is the games cabinet screen shattered and covered in blood. From what it seems like... Ken was forcefully pulled into the screen from some unknown force.

Even worse, Kens wife Haru walks into the scene only seeing the bloody shattered screen and Tucker by it. Of course, she accuses Tucker of killing her husband and is incredibly upset (I mean who wouldn't). Tucker tried to explain but she had already called the cops and she just wouldn't let Tucker talk.

Tucker had been detained and taken in. The court statements came in and he was found not guilty due to no evidence that Tucker had killed Ken. But he did have to serve some time in jail for not paying his past due payments (classic Tucker).

Tucker attempted to to call Haru with the only call time he had to try and explain things to her but she never answered. So instead Tucker called his next door neighbor and asked her to bail him out. She doesn't like Tucker all that much but Tucker was being an annoying little shit pleading to be bailed out and she finally agreed. But Tucker owed her $200 back.

Tucker somehow got hired to work at a car dealership (that mostly sells trucks) and had to make that money quick (She would not leave him alone till she got paid back).

As for the Cabinet that is covered in blood with the screen shattered and is evidence to try and figure out what happed to ken... So the case went cold after a while and Tucker just decided to live the rest of his life with his neighbor (cuz he's not risking living inside his own home again in case someone brings the case up again, and trauma. Also he had to pay rent at this point or his neighbor will kick his ass.)

Lead in: It's been about 1 year since Ra-On left Hell to be with Minhyeok, and one year on Earth meant nothing in Hell, a blink of an eye compared to their eternity. But with their absence, it might as well had been a century passed. One day, a new human ended up in Hell, she was different than Ra-On, in both looks and personality. What's more...she absolutely had no interest in the kings. No fear, no hate, no admiration, nervousness. Just nothing. Despite of her reason for being there, she focused on completing it and returning....

Satan: When Dis!MC arrived in Gehenna it was Satan who first investigated, thinking it was Ra-On who returned. He saw it wasn't them but a new human visitor. Sure, she'd be no replacement for Ra-On, but any human visiting meant some kind of new thing. Maybe another descendant? He finds out quickly that Dis!MC is no one to be reckoned with, her straight up ignoring him after asking a question. His rage was through the palace that day, even Heaven could feel the brunt of it. But why was he so bothered? It pissed him off even more that he couldn't figure it out.

Mammon: Dis!MC's trip to Tartaros was pleasant, despite receiving the cold shoulder from Bimet and Eligos (she didn't pat his head). Mammon's curiosity and warm welcome were wasted on Dis!MC as she was more concerned about her reasons for being there in the first place. While this doesn't necessarily bother him, in the back of his mind he remembers Ra-On fondly simply takes it as "well humans are never meant to be similar anyway". He's still very polite to Dis!MC and doesn't give her too much trouble while being hospitable. He does try to flirt a little, but seeing as how she doesn't respond it becomes dull for him.

Beelzebub: Honestly? He forgot what Ra-On looked like so for a minute he thought they had came back. Dis!MC has no trouble telling him off and even directly getting down to business with Bael with getting what she needs done getting the questions she wants answered. Beel surprisingly is disgruntled by her behavior, but he quickly forgets why he was bothered in the first place. Though when he's alone, he wishes that his "original" cute human was back. This new girl was going to be a pain.

Leviathan: He paid Dis!MC no mind at first, telling himself he was happy that it wasn't Ra-On who came back to Hades because they shouldn't have left in the first place. Though when he realizes that this new visitor to Hell has zero interest in him, he starts to get jealous. Who is she thinking about then? Which of the kings had she met first before him to cause such a reaction? What could he do to make sure that her focus is on him? Though, with all of that overthinking, it ends up to where Dis!MC moves on to the next country and Levi is just more pissed he spent more time overthinking than ignoring her.

Lucifer: Literally doesn't pay much attention to Dis!MC whatsoever. Humans come and go. While Ra-On was a joy to have around (or a headache depending on the day) having Dis!MC around for company wasn't too bad either. Especially since she stayed mostly out of his way and didn't rile up Gamigin too much. In fact, he wanted her to stick around a little longer and have a small chat over some tea. She doesn't seem interested though, which doesn't hurt Lucifer's feelings, but he's still slightly bothered. Maybe rejection doesn't sit well with our fallen seraphim...

Belphegor: He woke up because he noticed someone new in was in Nifelheim. Dis!MC oddly, was his type. Pretty much not into him at all, and straight to the point. She did everything, didn't ask him questions, and didn't annoy him. Too bad his idea of flirting was asking straightforward to get into bed with him. Beleth tried to explain in a more formal way, but Dis!MC was not having it and rejected both devils outright. Belphie didn't have the energy to be annoyed and just went to sleep. Beleth didn't take it to personally either.

Asmodeus: No one would be able to resist his charms. Right? Ra-On certainly didn't, and no other human or devil could resist. But Dis!MC? What was she made of? Her rejection only made Asmo more horny and more determined. Sure he wasn't going to pressure her into anything, in fact he liked the rejection. The glare in her eyes, the frigid body language. Reminds him of his wife when they first met. Perhaps that's why he doesn't mind her behavior. Truth be told....he jacks off to Dis!MC's rejection out of frustration of not being able to have her.

When we look at majority of women, they themselves have experienced, unspeakable horrific acts at the hands of males, and all women experience the horrors of our patriarchal society. I’m talking brutal femicides, gang rapes, pornography, female body mutilation, forced marriage, sexualization of women and girls 24/7, forced pregnancy and birth and we all know I could go on and on.

Yet patriarchy has numbed majority of us to female oppression, and majority of women don’t ever escape that numbness. Why is that? Why do only some of us escape the blindfold and truly feel the anger and defiance for our fellow women?

This is going to be controversial, and I am not saying I believe it, just putting it out there; Other female mammals seek out males even when the male animals are horrific towards them, and they haven’t been subjected to patriarchal conditioning since birth. What is this force that drives them to negate all of the injustice? Nature, evolution.

Could it not possibly be, that one of the reasons why males so easily oppressed us and why majority of us women are so numb to their actions, overall be simply an invisible driving force of evolution? Nature? I truly believe nature is a females greatest enemy, that’s just the luck of the draw the universe handed to us. Even in other mammalian species and many reptilian species, males are horrific creatures who cause nothing but pain and suffering for females, and it’s nature and evolution that made them that way.

I just honestly find it hard to comprehend how social conditioning from birth is enough to numb the physical emotional and rational reaction to the amount of violence against women.

For me and many other radfems, we became radfems because as we grew up and saw the injustice, we FELT that anger, and we decided to take that anger and fight against patriarchy, not just for ourselves but for women everywhere.

I don’t like being bleak, and obviously my biggest wish is for patriarchy to cease, but with how long the human species has been like this? I personally can’t see women ever being liberated before the end of our species. Especially when you see how majority of women in the present and throughout history have either had absolutely zero chance of turning against patriarchy, or have had the chance but selfishly refused to for their own perceived gains. Or is it simply the driving force of nature and evolution? And only some of us can see the reality and truly feel it? And why is that?

the problem with jason’s writing post resurrection is that like. you spend all this time while he was gone building up these batfam characters and their views and morals and way of interacting with each other and their world. and then you bring back this one character who’s been dead for however long, but an insanely long period of however long, and you’ve made it so his worldview has become drastically different than what he was being taught. then you dump the antagonist route completely and start trying to figure out how to bring him back into the fold.

but once again, you’ve spent around 15yrs expanding these characters separately from jason todd. so what do you do? you mold and reform what jason is meant to be post resurrection until he fits into those standards. its what makes sense to do. how can you justify the batfam characters doing an almost complete 180. maybe a 90. on their views purely because of one character? purely because of jason todd when nothing has set ever been able to set that change in motion beforehand? so now jason has to be the one to change. except the change completely contradicts all the beliefs he’s formed in his post resurrection plot-line.

and now jason todd as a character becomes bland. he becomes a victim to bad writing and character assassinations. he’s wishy washy. nobody knows what to do with him so his character and the characters he interacts with only continue to suffer as a result. everybody begins to stop taking him and his stances seriously. all because you’ll never remove him from the sources that led to the origin of jason todd.

a batfam character away from batfam? well now why would the writers ever think to do that!
