im sorry im fucking screaming at louis finally remembering that time his husband tortured him and his favourite twink turned dilf for a week and instead of having a fucking conversation with him about it he spends a whole episode being bitchy and sitting on the chair next to him but with his legs crossed in the other direction and bringing up the steins all in front of said favourite twink turned dilf who thinks its hilarious this show is genuinely not real

I think Jacob saying that Louis throwing Armand into the wall wasn’t even really about hurting him but just a last ditch effort to get him to stop scrambling is sooooo!!!! Bc like Louis does lash out sometimes, he does have a side of him capable of being cruel just for the sake of being cruel. “That’s why you’re always gonna be alone,” mocking Armand’s trauma, digging in Daniel’s brain. There is a side to him that does that. And Armand knows this, and they’re both caught up in the dynamic where Armand is the rescuer, is the one who brings Louis back to himself.

But when Louis throws Armand against the wall in 2x08, he’s not doing it because he wants to hurt him. It’s not revenge. It’s a reset button. Of course Louis is pissed with Armand in that moment, as he should be, but he also knows Armand well enough to know where the desperate scrambling is coming from. He knows Armand is panicking, that he’s trying to throw out any lie that might stick bc he’s terrified and as always his instinct is just to clutch on tighter and tighter.

So Louis just. Decides that they’re not gonna do that, actually. He does something that a. makes it clear he’s very fucking done with this, and b. is enough to shock Armand out of his spiraling. And it works. And then he walks away, bc he can do that now that they’re not locked in that spiral together anymore.

Oh God wait if Armand’s recurring “type” is guys who completely destroy his status quo — Marius rescuing him, Lestat with the coven, Louis with the theater —

then that aligns pretty neatly with him getting with Daniel next, when the interview inevitably leads to the penthouse household completely falling apart

look the chance of this happening is like 1% but in my head this is how season 2 is going to end:

dubai is over. what happened to loumand? no idea. is daniel turned? probably but who's to say. after whatever drama goes down, we cut to a few months later.

interview with the vampire has been published. daniel is at a signing, line out the door, etc, etc. we watch him sign books for a few people. a book is placed in front of him, he takes it automatically, flips it open, says, "who should i make it out to?" the camera pans out wide, and we see lestat in modern clothes. lestat smiles and says, "the vampire lestat."

daniel's eyes widen in recognition, and then, doomed acceptance, becuase he knows where the fuck this is going. he says, "oh, motherf---"

cut, end season.

Tell me why I want to write a fic where the iwtv characters go to therapy and process their trauma… it’s because I’m a therapist isn’t it? I think about each character’s specific trauma and start treatment planning lol. The art therapist in me is so curious to see what sort of latent content emerges in traumatized vampire art…

Question is would I write it from the character’s POV or from the therapist’s? And if the vampires are unpacking their trauma and revealing their nature to said therapist, does the therapist get to live?

Anyway… should I write this? If I were to write it should I put all of them in therapy or just pick one traumatized vampire??? If I do decide to do this any suggestions are welcome lol

anyways friends how did you like the iwtv season two finale? i though it was lovely when loumand and claudeline met up for a double date and had a great time and nothing horrible happened to them ever again because the show ended :)

Why Louis and Armand talk and act like they are in couple therapy when they are with Daniel?

With the most recent trailer revealing Daniel is genuinely worried he won’t survive the interview (and some dialogue indicating he should, in fact, be worried)

I kind of wonder if there was never actually a plan to let Daniel publish the interview…or to leave the penthouse alive.

They won’t let him go to his doctor’s appointments. It sounds like the furthest he may be able to go is a sushi restaurant in the same tower. Armand is letting the interview happen but is clearly very unhappy about it, while Louis mostly seems to be hoping it’ll be his way of remembering things and processing them…as opposed to actually wanting anything published, which is allegedly the whole point.

Though that would still leave the question of:

Would they simply want him dead? Or…you know…?

Because oh boy do I have THEORIES.
