Sherlock with Moriarty's Younger Sister II

What it's like being the younger sister of the Moriartys and meeting Sherlock Holmes. Continuation of "Sherlock with Moriarty's Younger Sister".

A/N: Sorry this took so long :') Tag/s: Fem!Reader, Familial Relationship, and maybe romance? maybe

During your afternoon stroll with Moneypenny, Sherlock was quick to catch you with Watson by his side.

Moneypenny, however, was quick to shut the whole operation, excusing you both by saying you are needed back home.

Sherlock attempted to walk you home, but Watson quickly pulled him back, apologizing for Sherlock's assertive behavior and bid you goodbye.

While walking back home, you couldn't help but laugh while Moneypenny was sighing, advising you not to meet with the great detective so often.

Being alone with a man was dangerous enough, especially with your position as a noblewoman with high society's eyes on you.

You reassured her, saying it will not hinder William's plans and you can take care of yourself and your image.

Unfortunately, it seems this reached the ears of your brothers before you even stepped inside the manor.

You sighed as you braced yourself for your brothers' lectures.

Even police interrogations don't feel as heavy or last as long as this.

Once you confirmed that Sherlock talked to you, Louis made you bathe, saying it was to decontaminate you.

If air fresheners were invented, Louis definitely sprayed your whole body with it, removing every trace of Sherlock on you.

They made sure that you didn't have any cuts or injuries, even though you were just taking a walk with Moneypenny.

You just said he tried talking to you since you were a Moriarty but assured them that you didn't do or say anything suspicious.

Luckily, Moneypenny helped you and took your side.

After that, your brothers let it go but still told you to avoid the man.

Unfortunately, your brothers took it upon themselves to be your bodyguard.

Whether you're walking in the gardens, reading in the library, or even just drinking tea in your room, at least one of your brothers is by your side.

Even the letters or gifts you receive get checked by them, mostly by Louis.

Marriage proposals get burned, shredded, ripped, or straight to the trash. Most of them never even got into your hands, let alone to your knowledge.

Whenever you make a public appearance, Albert is always there and dances with you, leaving no room for other men to ask you to the dance floor.

Some of the noble ladies even coo at how protective Albert was of you, saying how sweet of an older brother he was.

You can only give them an empty smile and stop your tongue from lashing out.

You even tried to deliver lunch to William to get on his good side and hopefully light up the security around you, but it just got the opposite effect.

Now, even his students send you letters and flowers in the mail.

You can only apologize in your head as you watch William prepare their examinations with dark fire surrounding him.

Louis is the one who stays by your side the most, assigning you to the same chores he has.

Whenever he needs to buy something from the market, either Sebastian or Fred goes with you two.

Whenever you feel it's too much, you usually spend time with Fred in the gardens, go for a drink with Sebastian, or have tea with Bonde, Moneypenny, and Master Jack.

They have tried to help you, defending your case, but your brothers are relentless.

Seeing as there is little to no hope of changing their minds, you put on your disguise and decide to run away.

You DID leave a note, though.

But you can only smile when you see Sherlock's shocked expression when you end up on the doorstep of 221B Baker Street.

As much as you hate people using power and money for selfish gains, you can only do so much with your brothers watching your every movement.

You paid Miss Hudson in full for renting a room for three days, which she happily accepted and welcomed you with open arms.

When you got inside, you didn't expect to be staying in the room right next to Sherlock and Dr. Watson's, but it's better than staying in the manor for now.

You jumped onto the bed and sighed, physically and emotionally tired from the day.

Before you could even unpack, you heard someone knocking on the window.

There, you saw a frantic Fred outside, trying to get your attention.

You opened the window and listened to him, but you were determined to stay there until your brothers let you have your freedom--despite how childish it is to run away at your age.

Seeing you were resolved to stay, Fred left to let your brothers know you were safe.

Seeing as you were their new neighbor, Dr. Watson tried to greet you as politely as possible while Sherlock glared at you from behind, earning a smack on the head from Miss Hudson.

You greeted them back with a courteous smile, reassuring them that you would only be staying for a short time.

You did your best not to bump into the two men, keeping to yourself in your room and only leaving to cook, eat, and go to the market.

Sherlock has tried to visit and talk to you, seeing as this is a rare chance to meet the elusive sister of the Moriartys.

But Miss Hudson made sure no one would bother her new tenant while Dr. Watson made sure his book's titular character would not cause a scandal.

Seeing as how your presence was causing trouble (because of Sherlock), you decided to invite them for tea.

As usual, you kept your answers short and precise, not giving Sherlock the answers he wanted while also asking questions yourself.

"For a noble lady, you sure have little to no suitors, huh?"

"Why? Would you like to be one?"

"I have no interest in women,"

"I believe Miss Irene Adler stayed at your place?"

"...And where did you hear that?"

"Gossip seems to travel faster than papers,"

Before you could finish your cup, Miss Hudon walked inside with Paterson behind her.

Your brothers apparently filed a missing person report.

Dr. Watson swore he saw the air around you grow heavy and dark for a split second.

Seeing as they have now gotten the police involved, you said your farewells and went home with Paterson.

Knowing your brothers, they would have sent the MI6 next...

A Closed Book-Luke Hughes

Summary: you and Luke had been dating for a year long distance and in secret but now that he’s in New Jersey permanently it gets a little harder to keep a secret.

Luke Hughes had always been a very private person even to the people close to him. His brothers like to tease him and say he’s a closed book with about 17,000 different locks.

Personally Luke didn’t mind he knew he is a private person and you quickly realized that and had no problems with it. Sure you would have liked to post your boyfriend and engage in all the conversation with your friends when they brought up their own but at the same time you loved the idea of having someone and something special that you never had to talk about or share with the world. Something that was only yours and that’s what Luke was.

The two of you met one of the first times Luke had came to visit his older brother Jack. You were only 17 at the time and Luke was nearly 19. The two of you hit it off at a coffee shop that was close to your high school. Luke and you exchanged numbers and when you turned 18 you two made it official.

After finishing high school you choose to stay in state so the first few months of being official you two were long distance. It was a lot of work a lot of late night phone calls and texts but you made it work and it was worth it.

Now Luke has officially signed with the New Jersey devils and he’s here permanently and you’re both thrilled.

November 7th marks the date of both your birthday and your one year anniversary so Luke wanted to do something special unfortunately the Devils had a four day road trip the last game being against St Louis on the 7th but two days later they were home for a game against the Pittsburgh penguins and even better they had the next day off.

So knowing Luke’s brother would go out after the game with his teammates probably to a bar which Luke couldn’t join because he is only 20 Luke had the brilliant plan of spending an evening in together and you were all for it.

11/09/2023 Jack and Luke’s Apartment

The devils won in overtime leading the score 5-4. Luke had a pretty good game he had a single assist for which he was proud of and after the game the two brothers headed back to their apartment.

“Luke are you sure you don’t wanna come out with us you know we can get you into the bar it’s not a big deal” Jack offers his younger brother

“Nah it’s ok I’m kinda tired anyway I’m probably just gonna order a pizza and watch some tv you go have fun” Luke says

Jack looks at his little brother with a slight smile while he couldn’t be more happy to have his brother playing with him and living with him apart of him wishes Luke would go out more often because he doesn’t hang out with the team as much as Jack does.

“Also what time you think you’re gonna be back?” Luke asks trying to ask as casually as possible so he knows how long he has with his girlfriend

“Um I don’t know I think we’re gonna hit a few bars see where the night goes I’ll probably be around 3” Jack says

“All right see you later” Luke says waving his brother goodbye as his brother leaves the shared apartment

Almost immediately Luke pulls out his phone and sends you a text.

Then Luke heads to his room to take a shower and get dressed. He puts on a pair of blue jeans and a white t shirt that you told him makes his muscles look big.

Luke walks outside his room and comes gets you from the hallway.

Luke shuts the door with his foot and walks towards you picking you up and placing you on the bed.

Luke takes off his shirt and throws it on the ground then starts unbuttoning your pants and slips them off of you and starts making his way down your stomach with kisses and stops right before he gets to your pussy making you let out a frustrated sigh causing him to smirk

Luke leans over you and reaches into his night stand and grabs a condom

You watch as Luke takes off the rest of his clothes and rolls on a condom then he regains his previous position and starts rubbing his hands on your body. Soon he grips the sides of your panties and yanks them down. Before roughly pushing himself into you.

You let a loud moan.

“Um well ya” he says after a moment of silence

Jack looks at him

“How long?” He asks taking a sip of water

“It was a year on the 7th” Luke replies

“A year?!!” Jack exclaims

“How the hell did you keep this a secret for a year?!!”

“Well um you know I’m like a closed book”

“Alright I’m gonna go to bed but it’s late so you both should as well” Jack says walking towards his room

“You wanna spend the night?” Luke asks

“Sure” you reply and the two of you head back to Lukes room and you strip and take one of his t shirts and put it on.

Luke changes into sweats and you both lay down in bed with your head on his bare chest.

A few minutes later the door opens and Jack steps in

“This door stays open all night” Jack says

Luke takes a pillow off the ground and throws it a Jack causing him to laugh

“Goodnight Luke and goodnight Y/N” Jack says retreating back to his own room and leaving the door wide open.

1. Introduce yourself. Past projects? Current projects?

Gabriel Matias Fernandez Traoré aka Gabe ‘Nandez. 2. Where do you write? Do you have a routine time you write? Do you discipline yourself, or just let the words come when they will? Do you typically write on a daily basis?

My desk, at home. If I’m not at home, then any desk. Or something desk like, if available. I tend to write at night and during twilight, generally speaking.

And yeah I try to write every day, and usually do. That being said, I ultimately need a few days off after writing every day for an extended period of time. But that in itself is also part of my writing process, it’s holistic.

3. What’s your medium—pen and paper, laptop, on your phone? Or do you compose a verse in your head and keep it there until it’s time to record?

Pen and paper always. I’ll take walks and write bars in my head but it all comes together when I pull the pen and notebook out.

4. Do you write in bars, or is it more disorganized than that?

I write in bars, it’s all organized. Scientific. 

5. How long into writing a verse or a song do you know it’s not working out the way you had in mind? Do you trash the material forever, or do you keep the discarded material to be reworked later?

Depends. Sometimes I’ll write 32 bars and decide I don’t want to use them after all, but that doesn’t happen often. I haven’t trashed an entire verse in a minute, there’s usually always a few gems in there that I can re-purpose. If I do trash something forever, it’s usually like…four bars in. Might read it back later and go “What the fuck was I on here?”

The first two lines tend to dictate everything. The first two bars cannot be trash. That’s the headline, it has to be strong because it sets the tone for the entire verse. I make sure the first two work and then it usually stays good from there.

6. Have you engaged with any other type of writing, whether presently or in the past? Fiction? Poetry? Playwriting? If so, how has that mode influenced your songwriting?

Honestly, the text messages I’ve sent women read like straight poetry sometimes. Like I’ll structure them like a poem, stanzas and shit like that, with rhythm and shit. I’m not even trynna come off like Casanova right now, I’m just being honest. Those texts are romantic as fuck and I’m proud of them. 

I’ve had to mess around with other mediums during academia but haven’t done so since I left. 

And ultimately I consider what I do with this rap shit poetry. Not crazy about labels but I’d still classify my writing as that.

7. How much editing do you do after initially writing a verse/song? Do you labor over verses, working on them over a long period of time, or do you start and finish a piece in a quick burst?

There usually isn’t much editing involved and I rarely trip over finishing stuff once I start it. I might take a long time to actually start the verse though, the first two bars. So I’ll just listen to the music for as long as I need to until the first two bars come to me, and then it’s pretty much smooth sailing from there. Usually. Every song is different though.

8. Do you write to a beat, or do you adjust and tweak lyrics to fit a beat?

Ideally, I tailor the writing to a specific piece of music, but I’ve transplanted verses to other beats before, definitely.

9. What dictates the direction of your lyrics? Are you led by an idea or topic you have in mind beforehand? Is it stream-of-consciousness? Is what you come up with determined by the constraint of the rhymes?

It really depends. There are general themes in my life that dictate the themes in my art, and I can just go stream-of-consciousness while sounding topical in my creative universe on any song. Sometimes a specific thing will inspire me, like my song “Commerce God” for example, which was inspired by the god Hermes/Mercury, and riffs around the statue of Mercury on top of Grand Central Station.

10. Do you like to experiment with different forms and rhyme schemes, or do you keep your bars free and flexible?

I would say both.

11. What’s a verse you’re particularly proud of, one where you met the vision for what you desire to do with your lyrics?

Good question, and a hard one. I’ll say “Ox” 'cause it’s the song of mine that’s reached the most people so far. I think it’s cause it has a balanced amount of depth and flexing. That beat goes crazy too. Stars just aligned on that one.

12. Can you pick a favorite bar of yours and describe the genesis of it?

“Self emancipated from a place of permanent ruin” is one that comes to mind. It’s a comment on how I kicked narcotics and alcohol but also sounds real fly and rolls of the tongue well. 

It’s from a track called “Semtex.” Wrote that one in like half an hour off of no sleep at 5:00AM type shit . Always fond of those type of sessions.

13. Do you feel strongly one way or another about punch-ins? Will you whittle a bar down in order to account for breath control, or are you comfortable punching-in so you don’t have to sacrifice any words?

I’m cool with punching in 'cause I’m good at it and can make it seamless. Or at least seamless enough where I’m cool with it. But there are times where I know I can just one-take a section of a song, so I’ll do that.  I’m with whatever needs to get done to get the song recorded, and the procedure is never exactly the same. It’s all very instinctive when I’m in the booth.

I’ve one-taked an entire song before, my song “Up Top.” First take, one take. That was crazy. But I don’t go in there planning on doing that. That just happened organically.

14. What non-hiphop material do you turn to for inspiration? What non-music has influenced your work recently?

Old books and stories. Theology, mythology, some philosophy. From different cultures. 

Otherwise life. People, the interactions I have or have had with them. Dreams sometimes.

15. Writers are often saddled with self-doubt. Do you struggle to like your own shit, or does it all sound dope to you?

Self-doubt isn’t something I struggle with in general. All of my music is objectively great because it’s tediously well made. I might cringe at some of my old stuff, but I don’t at most of it.

16. Who’s a rapper you listen to with such a distinguishable style that you need to resist the urge to imitate them?

Off top, Prodigy. But, to be honest, I’m at the stage where I’ve found my voice, so I don’t really run into situations where I’m writing and go, “Nah, that’s his shit.” It does happen sometimes, but it’s rare. 

Sometimes I’ll throw a dart in someone else’s style on purpose as an homage.

17. Do you have an agenda as an artist? Are there overarching concerns you want to communicate to the listener?

I’m here to express myself through art. By doing so, my viewpoints are shared, my energy is felt. This action, in turn, communicates the essence of my being and my spirit, which does what it’s intended to do, according to or regardless of my intention. 

I can’t control how someone is going to react to an action I take, let alone how my art is going to make them feel. I’m confident that I can direct and influence accurately - I’m confident that we all can. But, ultimately, I don’t have a desire to sway people in a particular direction, through art or in everyday life. That’s up to people.

MEN ARE NOT TRASH.

This is probably unrelated to my blog, but I had to write this out because it keeps haunting my mind. The constant hate men get on Tumblr and other social media platforms have been getting out of hand. I lost count of how many times I heard or read this phrase: "Men Are Trash." by women and I kept wondering... How can one person assume every single man on this planet is like that? Have you talked to all of them to prove this theory? Before I speak more, I want anyone who reads this to know it's not a hate-related post, but rather a wake-up call... especially for women who have been brainwashed by society.

NOW. Tons of women spoke about how men are useless, trash, and unneeded in society and how the world would be better without them.

The question is... Who works mostly in the construction industry? Who works mostly in the military department? The special forces? What about engineering and mechanics? Who is mostly down in the mines... getting all dirty and putting in loads of physical work?

Let's see something else...

Leonardo da Vinci

He invented the helicopter and the battle tank. He came up with designs for mechanical looms and hydraulic saws. He drew plans for submarines and robots. The list of his contributions to the world of engineering is virtually endless. 

Thomas Edison

A keen businessman with unbridled imagination, he is credited with thousands of inventions, including the phonograph, the electric light bulb, the telephone (although Alexander Graham Bell made it to the patent office first on that occasion), the movie camera, the microphone, and alkaline batteries.

His legacy includes the lightning conductor, bifocal lenses, and, according to some, the first experiments in nanoscience.

Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was arguably the greatest geek who ever lived, always fixing things that weren't broken and coming up with amazing inventions in the process. We have him to thank for alternating current, the modern electric motor, remote-controlled boats, and, rumor has it, radar technology and wireless communications.

What about social media? Something that most women wouldn't be able to live without?

Everything surroundings us... MEN have built, and I find it highly offensive to call all men trash. The Audacity!

The thought of waking up one day without men on this planet is simply a nightmare. Now, I am no doctor but I am pretty sure the human race needs MEN too so we can reproduce because, from my knowledge, women aren't capable of parthenogenesis.

Now, many women say that men have an easy life and lots of privileges, but I would like to disagree because if you said that, then you don't know anything about men at all. Just look up the case of 53-year-old journalist Norah Vincent, who pretended to be a man for a long period to see what living as a man is like. The experiment ended up in a tragedy as she committed suicide. She couldn't stand living as a man; she said it was so horrible, and she was shocked by how WOMEN treated her as she kept the disguise of a man.

I get it. Maybe some women ended up with shitty guys, but that's no excuse to treat the entire male population like that. There are good men and evil men... JUST like there are toxic women and good women.

This world needs women and men... to work together and not let social media brainwash them... and ultimately kill something beautiful.

Again, this post is not hate-related but a cold bucket of reality because sometimes we need reality to hit us upside the head and wake us up.

I see many posts like "You go, Queen!" or "Slay them, princess!"

Well... I just wanna say, "Keep your golden crowns straight, Kings!"

Cursed thought that if you take most of the folks in ofmd, you could have 5 ongoing games of Monopoly (4 ppl to each board) at once

I'm thinking groups like:

1. Ed, Stede, Calico Jack, and Izzy (the board is gonna be stabbed, whipped, and eventually flung overboard. They mutually agree after that, that they all won. It's that or a fistfight (loving).)

2. Lucius, Black Pete, Olu, and Jim (less physically violent, but the Tension will be incredible. Maybe at least one knife in the board. Who wins is up in the air, but it's closest between Olu and Lucius, with Pete and Jim helpfully trash talking.)

3. Mary, Doug (visiting), Fang, and Ivan (one of the calmest games going on. They spend most of the game chatting abt random things, like what sort of dog did Fang have, how long have they been working with/for Ed, how long are Mary and Doug and the kids staying, how is the widow's group, how is Mary's painting going, etc. They aren't that worried abt winning or not, especially bc Mary like. already has to manage selling land and stuff now herself.)

4. Louis, Alma (visiting with Mary and Doug of course), Spanish Jackie, and Buttons (Surprisingly ruthless, on the side of the kids. Jackie and Buttons sort of jokingly agree to play with them, only to find out the lil fuckers have learned property management from Mary and Evelyn and they will bankrupt others in this game with no shame or regret. Jackie jokes that they'll start cutting off noses like she does next. Cut to Alma's eyes lighting up bc she has a new hero. Louis wins, but that's bc Alma decides to help him and forgo her own individual victory. In another life, she is absolutely setting up corporate buy outs and shit.)

5. Frenchie, Wee John, Roach, and The Swede (Frenchie is extremely good at this game. partially bc they agreed to make up their own rules as they go, and he's got a pyramid scheme going that they all end up buying into. At some point they realise that in creating all of their rules, they aren't actually sure how to determine who wins. It's decided to see what happens if they blow up the board and pieces. Answer? Small but awesome explosion and bits of flaming fake money raining down, much to everyone else's confusion. As with Game 1 above, they all essentially win.)

- you took off the bands on your ankles and smiled sweetly at the male wolf

- but when he reached to grab the bands you had around your ankles he could not reach them off the ground

- but you heard him grunting and got a little curious

- looking over your shoulder you saw that Legoshi was trying to pick up the bands with all his wolf might

JACK:

- Jack is and will always be the hyper type

- like the one that will ALWAYS go on walks with you

- you never get a walk alone with this man

- he is also super clingy so that does not help

- like he just casually makes friends while out on a walk and you have to stand there

- Jack still struggled with the bands, struggling to get them off the bed like it was glue

- he thinks about it for a while and you can hear him sometimes brag about it to Legoshi

BILL:

- Bill is a very busy man

- and you are also busy

- so it is very rare that the two of you sit down and have a date

- most of the time it is just some theater chore that Louis made you two put together just because he got tired of hearing Bill complain about not having enough time to get together with his partner/lover/significant other

- Louis has sent Bill after he complained for the hundredth time about never having a date you in five weeks

- and to him that might as well be a hundred years

- “Hey y/n, Bill is being annoying and want to go on a date with you. So to shut him up I am making you two design costumes. Oh, and by ‘you two’ I mean just you because we both know more then anybody that Bill will get the most revealing costume and put it on all the girls because he can.”

- Louis stated, you could practically see the steam coming from his ears and irritated little mark on his forehead that every anime in the history of an8me characters has

- “Of course Louis-senpai!”

- senpai means upperclassmen so don’t come at me

- You straightened your back and bolted to the theater room

- You exclaim loudly, busting into theater room that still has other theater members in it

- everyone jumps five feet in the air as you walk in

- Bill rolls his eyes before walking over to you and smiling largely

- “I already made an outfit for you! Look at it!!”

- Bill showed you two scraps of fabric that he called an outfit

- You sighed and grabbed the two fabric pierces that were th color of bright neon green (the one color you couldn’t pull off without looking like a crayon)

- ripping it to shreds and throwing in the nearest trash can you patted Bill’s broad shoulders

- “that is not an outfit, that is two pierces of fabrics in the ugliest color I could ever imagine.”

- you smiled a deathly kind of smile that told Bill he should tread carefully or else you would snap his neck in half

- “what‘s that?”

- Bill asked, pointing to your training bands around your ankles

- “oh! Those are my training bands! Do you think that they look good? I was going to go for the light gray bands but chose to go to the dark purple instead to match my dark purple outfit.”

- you explained, a little bit of pep in your step as you lifted up your legs and showed off the training bands smiling proudly

- Bill lifted his eyebrows and unbuckled the ankle training bands and tried to lift them up

- “WHY CANT I LIFT THIS FUCKING THING!?”

- Bill exclaimed as he tried to lift them off the ground

- everyone started laughing at Bill’s attempt to lift the arm bands

- “babe, you won’t be able to lift the arm bands, they are five tons per band!”

- you laughed as you brushed off Bill’s attempt

Here is my first commissioned pic from an artist team as well as my short story for 2022! This pic gave me plenty of scenarios, but I chose the one below. Please feel free to comment, hope you enjoy the pic with story, and let me know if you'd want to see more. I am thinking of commissioning a comic based on this pic. Question I'd have for all of you is...who do you think in this pic and story below is the hero and the villain?

*Chime, Chime, Chime* was heard throughout Cherryton High. A cheetah, roadrunner, and antelope were running in the courtyard for the next track meet. Inside Cherryton High, students were walking back to their dormitories. Some went to the lounge. Jack was playing chess with a goat while Legosi watched his friend play remarkably well.

“Alright Romero” said Jack as he moved his furry hand towards the rook on A5. Romero sighing and lowering his eyes when he realized his King was about to be cornered. “This next move is when I can declare Chec-“ *Kee-ya….Kee-ya….Kee-ya* was suddenly coming loud and clear from the television set a few feet away from them. Jack, Romero, Legosi, and the other students in the lounge suddenly stopped and turned their heads towards the tv. Their eyes widened from the sudden sound with their adrenaline high due to the shock.

We interrupt this program for an emergency broadcast” said the announcer while the emergency logo was shown on the monitor. Some students tilted their heads while others were taken aback. Legosi in particular kept quiet and a low demeanor. Soon, a female raven came on the monitor wearing a purple dress with her wings rested on the table. She looked straight at the camera keeping a professional stance towards viewers and said,

“Good evening. Earlier today, our crew discovered a reported incident last night where a Cherryton citizen was found in the alley behind a grocery.” Next, the station showed the grocery store. Students in the lounge gasped.

“H-Hey…” whispered the mouse towards her roommate “That’s the grocery store four blocks from here.” All were now attentive to the television but none more so than Legosi. His eyes wider than before while his fur stood with a sweat drop trailing down his muzzle. He was still able to keep his muzzle shut. On the other side of the school where the drama club would host their practice session was Louis sitting in his office. On his desk was a small monitor showing the same emergency broadcast. Although sitting casually, his own eyes were wide with what was shown to him.

“Both victims are at the hospital in critical condition. One of our reporters found witnesses who were at the grocery store during the attack” said the raven. The monitor showed an elk reporter in a blue suit who had a microphone next to a female raccoon wearing a summer hat and pink dress. She moved closer to the microphone and said in a hysterical voice.

I-it was scary…I left with some fruit and…w-went back to my car. I heard noises…near the alley. A-all of a sudden, someone came running past the parking lot. H-he was big and wearing something in b-blue and yellow. He was like a flash of lightning…and I could see the tracks he left on the wet pavement. I-it was raining when I was in the store…”

The students kept quiet while listening, but Legosi backed away a couple of steps without realizing it. A few more drops of sweat trailed from his furry forehead down to the fur on his neck.

Louis was watching in his own office at the same time, then the screen turned to a buffalo who worked at that grocery.

“I was in the back dumping the trash.” said the buffalo when the reporter moved closer to him with the mic. “I heard noises coming from the alley and then heard something above me. I looked and saw someone running across the roof and jumping to the next building. All I could see was a cape that looked violet or indigo…and I think he may have been barefoot and saw horns…or may be antlers…or…” he kept saying what could’ve been on the mysterious figure’s head while tapping a furry finger on his chin. His eyebrows raised remembering that night.

“Police have not revealed any more information at the scene, but we’ll stay on the scene with any more updates” said the Elk reporter staring at his camera crew. “Back to you Rhonda.”

“Thank you Bob” said Rhonda when the station showing the same Raven from earlier. “We now return to our regular scheduled program.”

As the tv went back to its regular programming, students talked amongst each other with some already heading back to their dorms.

“Geez, as if we need more late night attacks” said Jack while looking at the tv but motioning his head towards his right side where Legosi stood next to him. “I hope they catch whomever’s responsible….say Legosi what do…huh?” Jack blinked and widened his eyes when he saw his best friend looked more on edge. He leaned closer and asked

“L-Legosi…are you okay? Are you worried about those attacks?” Jack moved his right arm to grab Lugosi’s hand and as soon as his fingers locked around Legosi’s wrist. Legosi suddenly pulled it back and yelled,

“YES I’M WORRIED ABOUT THE ATTACKS!!!!!!!” His eyes widened and jumping back a bit with his muzzle wide open showing his fangs. Jack was stunned and the other students still in the lounge turned their eyes toward Legosi wondering why he suddenly yelled.

“Uh….” Was the next word out of Legosi’s mouth lowering his arms with his muzzle open. Now all eyes were on him and he looked around suddenly taking some steps back. “I-I-In fact…I’m going to…check if anyone’s at the drama club’s practice room…”

Legosi took further steps back and lifted his right furry arm pointing his thumb backwards. “A-and let them know w-what happened…can’t be too careful…umf…” said Legosi as he backed against the door with more strength than usual. He quickly tried grabbing the knob and managed to open the door after a few tries. Once he left running, everyone kept looking at the wolf wondering what that was all about. Jack thought it was strange to Legosi to get so nervous like that and why go to that practice room when drama club wasn’t meeting today. Jack wondered if he was going to see that female rabbit but didn’t want others to know that. He sighed and kept to himself lowering his head. He wished Legosi would’ve at least been honest with him. Legosi already ran through the schoolyard and to the drama club’s practice room. He reached his locker and took a few deep breaths. His right furry hand resting on top of his locker. He looked down and then at his locker. He moved his claws and opened the locker door. He looked inside to find that it was still there. The blue and yellow costume he wore last night hanging with the blue eye mask and yellow gloves on the top shelf.

“WHY?!” Legosi lifted his head in shock when hearing THAT voice. “WHY DID YOU RUN AWAY?!” It’s that voice he heard the same night he lunged at Haru. “YOU’RE A WOLF!!! YOU HAD HIM!!!” Legosi closed his eyes and could see blood red in his mind with flashes of that night. “The hawk walking out of the grocery store. Instead of the parking lot, he headed towards the alley carrying a large brown paper bag. He suddenly stopped and backed away seeing who was in front of him.

Legosi in the locker room slightly growled with sweat soaking his fur again. He saw more flashes of the hawk falling down with such fear in his eyes. Another flash of blood spattered on the wall. Another flash of a mysterious deer with a lavender eye mask and black costume with a violet cape and fingerless gloves rushing towards him with his bare furry feet. Legosi shook his head when the flashes stopped to calm down. He took some more deep breaths and closed the locker room door. He wishes he never found that costume in the first place. It’s like he was someone else that night.

Although Legosi thought he was alone, another drama club member was in his own office. Louis’s television was off but he was no longer sitting in front of it. He was kneeling on the ground looking down on the floor with his eyes closed. He raised his head and opened his eyes. He looked what he put on that chair. The black costume with the violet eye mask, cape and gloves. Since he first wore that costume, he felt strength and resilience. Confidence would run through all over his body. He felt like he could be at the same level as carnivores. Then why…why did it go wrong at that alley last night. He’d soon forget it once that memory popped in his head. The hawk who was so scared. Backed into a wall with fear in his eyes. Blood stains growing on the ground. A mysterious gray wolf with a blue and yellow costume, blue eye mask and yellow gloves came running at him with his gray furry bare feet in an instant flash.

“GAH!!!” Louis pounded the ground with his brown furry fist. He kept thinking to himself how could he be so weak that night…was it even worth putting that costume on again?

In the hospital, reporters gathered trying to get to the victim’s room. Police made every attempt to keep them away. The hawk was in the hospital bed on a ventilator. Bandages covered nearly his entire feathery body. Only part without bandages were those talons at the end of the bed with a toe claw wiggling every now and then.

“At least he’s responsive” said the polar bear doctor.

“What do you think happened?” said the fox cop.

Hard to say…we may not really know until he wakes up.” said the doctor as both he and the cop looked at the hawk in bed. The hawk’s EKG showed brain activity and his heart rate was at least normal for now. His eyelids seemed to slightly move but he wasn’t waking up. It seemed he was dreaming. He may be remembering what happened that night. The hawk was dreaming but it seemed the memory of that night was incorporated. He saw himself walking down that alley after leaving the grocery store. He carried his brown paper bag but the sky was blood red. It was darker than usual, and he heard lighting shrieking though it was his only source of light. He kept thinking it was going to be okay…he’d be out of there and back home in no time. He suddenly stopped when he noticed someone in front of him. It was too dark but another flash of lighting made him see a gray wolf donning a blue and yellow costume with a blue eye mask. The hawk heard a noise from behind and turned around to see someone else in the dark. Another lighting flash showed a mysterious deer wearing a black costume with a violet eye mask, gloves and cape. He couldn’t also help notice both were barefoot. Were they so strong that they didn’t even need boots? The hawk backed into a wall behind him and then noticed both going towards him. He couldn’t tell what was happening. Was one trying to attack him…was the other protecting him…were they both going after him…were they both protecting him from something….a sudden flash sparked bright when both of them came really close to each other and him.

The ballpark dates back to the 1930s, when the Detroit Stars of the storied Negro Leagues played in front of thousands of fans. After decades of abandonment, the stadium is getting a new life. The Wayne County Commission (on July 22) approved an $850,000 grant, the final piece of funding to renovate the historic ballpark.                                       

This summer, crews plan to build a new roof above the grandstand and restore the seating and brick exterior.  The $2.6 million renovation project is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Hamtramck Stadium is one of five remaining major Negro League ballparks.   

"Hamtramck Stadium is hallowed ground, essential to both Black history and baseball history," Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans said in a news release. "I am thrilled that we are restoring Hamtramck Stadium to its former glory so that the next generation of Hamtramck and Detroit young people can learn to love this game on the same field where legends like Turkey Stearnes, Satchel Paige, and Josh Gibson once roamed."                                      

The ballpark hosted the Stars from 1930, 1931, 1933, and 1937, and 17 future Hall of Famers, including legendary pitcher Satchel Paige, Cool Papa Bell, Oscar Charleston, Judy Johnson, Josh Gibson, and Norman "Turkey" Stearnes, played there. Stearnes, a southpaw slugger, was a hometown hero who won seven home run titles in the 1920s and ’30s.                                  

“I never counted my home runs,” he once said. “I hit so many, I never counted them, and I’ll tell you why: If they didn’t win a ball game, they didn’t amount to anything.”                                  

Detroit Stars owner John Roesink, a local businessman, built the stadium after the team’s first home, Mack Park on the city’s east side, was badly damaged in 1929 when a grounds crew intentionally burned gasoline on the field to dry up the rain-soaked ground. More than 100 fans were injured.                                  

At the new stadium in May 1930, Detroit Tigers legend Ty Cobb threw out the first pitch.                                  

As many as 8,000 fans – both Black and white — packed Hamtramck Stadium to cheer on their home team.  But the Stars' glory days didn't last long.                

The Depression struck and left the Black ballplayers without a major Negro League team in Detroit, and so they relocated to other cities. (Turkey Stearnes, notably, went on to play several seasons for the Chicago American Giants.) In 1947, Jackie Robinson finally broke the color barrier in the major leagues when he debuted as a Brooklyn Dodger, spelling the beginning of the end for the Negro Leagues.      

Hamtramck bought the stadium in 1940 and used it occasionally until shutting it down in the 1990s. There wasn’t even a sign commemorating the field until 2012, after a group of volunteers, preservationists, and baseball fans began searching for ways to revive the ballpark. That year, the stadium was added to the National Register of Historic Places.                                  

 “The history of Hamtramck Stadium and the Negro Leagues is an integral part of the history of both Detroit and Hamtramck, and the rehabilitation of the grandstand will make that history accessible,” says Gary Gillette, founder and chair of the Friends of Historic Hamtramck Stadium

In 2017, the Hamtramck Stadium Grounds Crew (formerly the Navin Field Grounds Crew) began regularly maintaining the field. “Our grounds crew is like a family,” says founder Tom Derry. “We’re passionate about preserving baseball history and helping the great community of Hamtramck.”

Derry and his volunteer crew can be found at the ballpark nearly every day throughout the summer cutting the grass, fertilizing, watering, grooming the infield, or picking up trash. “We have the hardest working grounds crew in baseball,” he says.

Other contributors of the renovation project include the Detroit Tigers Foundation; the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation; the Kresge Foundation; the Friends of Historic Hamtramck Stadium; the Michigan Municipal League Foundation; the Hamtramck Parks Conservancy; and the National Park Service through an African American Civil Rights grant.  

In July 2019, rock star Jack White played a charity baseball game at the park to raise money for the Friends of Historic Hamtramck Stadium.

The renovations are part of a more ambitious plan to create more opportunities within the larger community space known as the Hamtramck Recreation District, which also includes Keyworth Stadium, Veterans Park, and a stop on the new Joe Louis Greenway, a 27.5-mile trail that connects the Detroit Riverfront to Hamtramck, Highland Park and Dearborn.                                           “We are proud to have the support of so many committed partners who are contributing to the restoration of historic Hamtramck Stadium,” says David Palmer, interim executive director of the Hamtramck Parks Conservancy. “This work will both honor the site's history as one of only five remaining Negro Leagues home fields still standing and gives new life to the stadium as was prioritized by the community in the Hamtramck Recreation District Plan.”

Albert, William, Louis James Moriarty, Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes

A/N: Sorry for the long break and Late Happy New Year!

You are Jack's niece, and he took you in as a promise to your father when he died in action during the Afghan War.

He ensured you were well-fed, clothed, sleeping in a nice room, and even getting an education at an all-girls boarding school.

And now, you were a successful businesswoman (under a man's name... because, you know... sexism-) with a good heart that Jack is very proud of.

You made sure Jack had a nice retirement, hoping to repay his kindness from years ago.

Until one day, you find out your uncle went out of retirement and became a butler again to the Moriartys.

You've never met them since you were in a boarding school when they came to the Rockwells, but you've heard stories about the three boys from your uncle.

Curious, you decided to pay your dear uncle a surprise visit.

Your sweet family reunion almost became a full-on fistfight when your uncle slammed the door on you.

However, Jack explained how he said he had a nephew instead of a niece due to your business being under a man's name, and it was suspicious how he would receive money and packages from your company.

So now, you were acting as your assistant.

You were introduced to the manor's residents, which was brief as your uncle immediately excused you, walking you back to your place.

And when you left, your uncle made it clear you were engaged... which was a full-blown lie.

But this didn't stop when you continued visiting your uncle, bringing gifts, and catching up with each other through tea.

Because of this, you also got to know the other residents better. Mostly Fred and Moneypenny because Jack would always be by your side when talking to Albert, William, Louis, Bonde, and especially Sebastian... and much to his dismay, you caught the attention of the three brothers.

Suddenly, Jack suggests a new one-on-one training regime with everyone--to sharpen their close combat skills, of course...

Albert James Moriarty

You're not allowed to drink wine with him alone.

Whether it's just a small chat in the afternoon or long conversations in the evening, Jack always pulls you away before you even get a sip.

It's okay if he or Fred is in the room, but you're not allowed to touch alcohol with any man alone.

Whenever you and Albert meet at some gathering or soiree, you always feel your uncle's eyes on you despite knowing he isn't there.

Jack definitely questions you every time you come home from these social events, especially if he knows Albert was also there.

If you're going to be Albert's plus one, he has to be one of the servers to keep an eye on you.

If not, then you're not going, or Fred and Sebastian have to report to him.

If Albert gives you a gift, Jack makes sure it's appropriate.

And if not, it goes to the trash, and you wouldn't even know it existed in the first place.

You only found out when you caught him shoving perfectly good roses into the trash.

This made it worse when you apologized to Albert and gave him a gift of your own, which was a bottle of vintage wine you got from France.

The moment he offered to drink it with you, to talk about business, of course, Jack immediately slammed the door open and offered to open it, serving you both.

When Albert asks personal questions, such as if you had any suitors or what type of person you like, Jack shuts it down instantly, saying this is unprofessional behavior.

While you and Albert were talking, you noticed your uncle was keeping close to you, slightly pushing your seat away from the oldest Moriarty.

The stab on the wooden table when you and Albert accidentally touched hands didn't go unnoticed either.

William James Moriarty

The first time he met you, he had an idea you had a deep bond with their beloved instructor.

He made a mental note of Jack's protectiveness over you and concluded to keep his distance, not wanting to face Jack's wrath.

So when you approached him in the department store with a smile, he was taken aback.

As you two were talking and window shopping, he started piecing together your past, how you must have lost your parents at such a young age.

As you two roamed around, he noticed your eyes would linger on a pricey dress on display.

When he suggested asking your fiance to buy it for you, he noticed your confused expression and fibbing about how you didn't want to bother him. (Jack definitely earned an angry lecture from you about how you were suddenly engaged without a ring... let alone a fiance)

Concluding your engagement might be rocky, William decided to buy the dress for you as a gift.

Whenever William caught you wearing the dress he bought, he couldn't help but smile.

This didn't go unnoticed by Jack, who immediately bought you a whole new wardrobe and "accidentally" spilled wine on the dress.

However, this didn't explain the handprints and the obvious spreading of the stain.

After your encounter with William at the department store, you noticed how you two would bump into each other more frequently.

Whether it's the library, stores, museum, gallery, or just in the streets, you would meet William weekly.

Even when you visit your uncle at the manor, William would take some time to talk to you and sometimes spend time with you in the library.

He would even give you suggestions and advice on business when you ask and offer book recommendations he thinks you would enjoy.

And Jack immediately cuts between you two and joins the conversation or moves your seat miles away from the crime consultant.

Louis James Moriarty

Like William, he quickly noticed Jack's fondness and protectiveness over you and decided not to ask questions since he saw how Jack would get when it came to you, courtesy of Moran asking if you were taken.

Even though he tries to keep some distance between you two, your constant visits with your uncle and attempts to be on good terms with the brothers make it difficult.

At one point, he asks you why you were trying to get closer to them, to which you replied with a confused look.

When you explained how you wanted to know more about the boys who earned Jack's respect and admiration, it caught him off-guard.

After that encounter, Louis' walls slowly started breaking down.

You used to follow your uncle back when he was a butler, acting as his little helper, so you usually spend time with Louis at the manor while helping him with chores.

He didn't want to admit it, but he started buying the types of tea you favored along with the cookies and snacks you would recommend during your visits.

Jack immediately noticed when he saw a cupboard filled to the brim with your favorite drinks and snacks.

And how Louis would always serve you during your visits, showing a soft smile every time you would compliment his brew.

After that, Jack made sure that Louis knew not to make any moves on you, emphasizing that you were engaged.

Much to your dismay, because now you needed to lie on the spot about how great your fiance was whenever they asked about your non-existent fiance.

Seeing how uncomfortable you were when discussing your fiance and how you had to lie to him, Louis now thinks he might be a horrible man, and you're just covering for him.

He tried asking Fred for help getting intel on your fiance, but Jack had already beaten him and asked the boy to lie on your behalf.

When you found out, you immediately apologized to the poor boy and gave him snacks and flowers as an apology.

This doesn't stop Louis from looking after you or Jack trying to keep you away from him.

Mycroft Holmes

Back then, when you were still starting your business, Mycroft immediately knew your identity.

So, when you two attended the same charity gala, he took the opportunity and made a deal with you.

Since then, he would ensure your identity would never be revealed to the public, and you would give him information or opportunities through your business ties.

However, his random visits were not welcomed. Especially when you had to wake up at three in the morning to let him in your house.

It also didn't help how rumors in high society started to spread about how you were his lover.

You tried to deny those accusations, but Mycroft would just smile and add fuel to the fire, much to your dismay.

What's worse was while you and Mycroft were discussing your new job, Jack decided to pay you a surprise visit to celebrate your birthday.

Explaining why you and a man were in your house alone in a room was definitely something. Luckily, the servants hid the knives in the kitchen just in time.

After explaining, Jack decided to let it go and celebrate your birthday with dinner in your favorite restaurant... away from Mycroft and the prying eyes of his subordinates.

Jack had half a mind to make you stay with him in the manor, even if it meant you were near the Moriarty brothers.

You didn't know why, but Jack decided that you needed a refresher on self-defense and would visit you weekly for lessons.

...and a lesson on the birds and the bees, but you shut that thought immediately.

Since then, Mycroft started teasing about how close you and your uncle were and started planting "gifts" inside your house... as a prank... of course.

So every time before Jack's visits, you and the house servants now have to play a game of scavenger hunt and try to hide them in time.

Explaining to Jack the gift boxes he found filled with your favorite things, ranging from accessories to perfumes from a "secret admirer" almost made your heart stop.

Sherlock Holmes

Your first meeting was definitely unique, to say the least.

While you were walking home after a long day at work, Sherlock and John were chasing a serial killer on the same street.

The serial killer tried to kill you and buy himself some time. Unfortunately for him, you instinctively and masterfully pinned him down and grabbed his weapon, courtesy of Jack's self-defense lessons.

As the Scotland Yard was arresting the man, Sherlock began questioning you.

Getting deduced as a working-class orphan who's been taken care of by a close family relative who was in the military since a young age was definitely a surprise.

You tried to answer them to the best of your abilities without garnering unwanted attention, but Sherlock could immediately tell you were omitting some things.

Before Sherlock could ask you any more questions, Scotland Yard pulled him away, letting you escape.

You thought you were in the clear, and that was the last time you would ever see them... How wrong you were to see the consulting detective at the entrance of your company the next morning.

Seeing security couldn't contain him, and he was now even visiting you in your home, you decided to bite and answer his remaining questions.

However, even after feeding his curiosity, Sherlock kept visiting you and somehow managed to drag you along to some of his investigations, saying your skills in close combat could come in handy.

This led to you letting out your frustrations to Jack during one of your visits, tired of having Sherlock drag you around all over London.

Sebastian could swear he saw flames burning behind him during your rant as devil horns grew on top of his head.

Unfortunately for him, the great detective was an important pawn in William's plans, so he couldn't directly confront him.

This didn't stop Jack from making it difficult for Sherlock to reach you, though.

You could barely stop yourself from hollering in laughter when you saw Sherlock in front of your house, glaring at you with chicken feathers covering him from head to toe.
