There’s a lot of Smiths bootlegs out there, but they’re almost all live recordings. This, on the other hand, is incredible—two LPs worth of immaculate-sounding alternate takes, unreleased music and more. Not only that, but it’s on glorious blue vinyl and packaged in a cover that even Moz would like (OK, he’d complain, but that’s his thing). The extended jam on “The Queen is Dead” alone is worth the price of admission.
