A Brief Encounter: Philip and Grace

Grace finally did it. She ran away from home in order to pursue her dream of becoming a Pokemon Trainer. She had waited until her Papa left for his trip and slipped out of the house, taking a small bag with a few supplies. Nido was right by her side, looking around the forest merrily. He was probably enjoying the new scenery. They were in a new part of the forest, someplace she had never been before and it frightened her a little.’ I’m not scared. I am brave.’ She continued to mutter to herself. 

"Surely there’s a village nearby, Nido." Grace looked around, hoping to see an area where the trees weren’t so thick. Her legs were growing tired and she desperately wished to fill her stomach with warm food. “Nido!" He replied before going into a run. He stopped on top of a hill then turned towards her, jumping up and down with joy. She quickly caught up to him and saw a small village in the distance. “Thank goodness.. Let’s go Nido." She ran down the hill, Nido following, and stopped when she caught sight of a man with a Pokemon. Nido immediately started to growl and lowered his horn towards the stranger and his Pokemon. 

Her Papa always taught her to not talk to strangers, but she hoped that this man could be trusted. Taking a deep breath Grace stepped towards the man. “Uhm… Excuse me."

Emma finished her work at the station and decide to grab some dinner before picking Henry up from Regina's. She walked into Granny's smiling, having had a good day for a change. She waved to Ruby and sat across from the bar at a booth. She couldn't help but notice Philip there. Her smile warmed a little as nervousness welled in here. Emma took a breath and spoke softly. "hey there Prince. How have you been?" A smirk slid to her features as she took her seat in the booth.

"Thank you?" Alex replied as she accepted the black rose. As she gazed at its petals she was drawn in to them by something, as if being hypnotized or intranced. Whatever happened to her it made her feel good. It made her feel more than good, strong, powerful. Her eyes immediately shot up at the old beggar woman. As sly grin upon her face. "Oh my, you look so very cold. Do get warm by the fire." Alexandra offered in an innocent voice, before snapping her fingers and watching the woman burt into flames.

 "Thank you mother." Alexandra thanked her mom for training her in magic. "This will be fun."
