There’s a connection between the relationship between KAngel and Ame’s relationship and the relationship between Belos and Philip but I haven’t figured it out yet.

genloss being a commentary on streaming/content creation is so fucking cool to me and its. really making me just look at the internet a little bit differently like
ive dreamed of being a streamer and/or youtuber since i was like six years old but only now at eighteen am i really seeing just how like. dirty and imperfect this industry is.
hetch not allowing ranboo to remove their mask because it would end the show, people only indulging in the mystery of what ranboo looks like underneath. if the mask comes off that means hes fulfilled his role and people have their answers. theyd turn off their tvs and move on now that their mystery is solved. its even more wild when thinking abt that and then going to tiktok or twitter and seeing people freak out over seeing just a bit of his cheek through the hole in his mask during the finale
or how we saw people streaming out of FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS in a mall food court. yknow. places where food is made quickly and cheaply on demand. charlie's stream to me felt like a combination of a few things: mockery of youtuber apologies/the insincerity behind a lot of creators who do bad shit, the need for money (he was asking for subs a lot and asking people for money essentially) bc content creation is NOT always a stable job, and he was literally reacting to colors. its a show of how people will tune into anything their favorite streamers do just because
AND. the people that made appearances? THEY WERE CAST AS THEMSELVES. in the second episode their descriptors were literally things that define them as creators (niki's being "nice" and austin's being "gay"). they were taken from their lives, stripped of everything other than a few barebone traits, and forced into the show. its how creators are so often dehumanized and seen as nothing but entertainment for their audiences
i feel sick /pos ranboo is fucking incredible.

the lack of basic human empathy and understanding, from both antis and stans (even though it manifests in different ways), is honestly astounding. antis make those jokes all the time - as soon as dream does it once, quickly deletes it, and apologies, as deafeningly honest and open as he can be, all within minutes, he's the worst human being to ever walk the earth who deserves to have lies and misinformation about him spread for millions of people to see. and on the opposite side his fans demand him to put his feelings below theirs, demand that he stay their perfectly rational streamer they've built in their heads. it's sickening. dream is a person, a human being like the rest of us, and he one hundred percent does not deserve the dehumanization he faces every single day. point blank, no matter what your feelings on him are, negative or positive or even neutral. he is his own person capable of making his own decisions, and more than that he's ALLOWED to have emotional reactions to things that have affected him for the better part of a year. he is allowed to defend himself against the millions of people clamoring for his blood. he's allowed. and fuck you if you think differently.

Lily Simpson is a content creator on YouTube who makes positive and lighthearted videos on the good and bad of trans representation in popular media.
Unfortunately, she is facing vicious transphobic bullying in her comment section after a ~sassy~ but innocuous Twitter post saying content creators shouldn't be creeps. The fans of the streamer in the screenshot interpreted this in an accusatory manner, with someone who responded to Lily's Twitter post fueling the flames.
Tumblr media
Regardless of the debate about minors on the internet, the attacks on her in her comment section are deeply disturbing and horrifically disproportionate relative to what she did, including dehumanization and suicide bait.
If you have a few minutes and want to support someone who makes cool stuff and is probably going through it right now, maybe try watching her new video on trans representation in Curb Your Enthusiasm. Her videos are a relaxed discussion around transgender characters with the occasional fun tangent. If you like it, maybe leave a like and a nice comment!

I want to get started in the spicier side of audio roleplay-- do you have any advice before I take the leap? I've seen lots of other vas spicy audios so I know what goes into it but I don't know what goes on behind the scenes if that makes sense? Sorry if I'm rambling qsjflfhw
This is gonna be long so I'll put it under the cut lol
First and foremost- absolutely be over 18 (or older if the age of majority is higher where you live). Even if it's just your voice, erotic audios are typically considered pornographic, and making them is considered sex work. So obviously if you aren't legally an adult, that would be considered cp. (Not to mention, as someone who was involved in the "adult media" world at 18, even that is way too young to get into it)
Along those lines, know what laws are in place regarding online sex work where you live. Some countries are fine with it, others it's considered a crime, so do your research
It kinda sounds like you have experience in recording (correct me if I'm wrong, though), so I won't go into the technical side of that because there isn't much difference between the recording/editing process of sfw and nsfw audios
So onto the actual advice:
Learn how to say no, and quickly. Making audios about specific topics that you don't vibe with, or portraying yourself/your work in a way that doesn't feel right, is never worth it. No matter how much people demand it or how much money you could make off of it, don't let yourself be pushed into doing things you don't want to do or aren't comfortable with. If you plan to do collabs, don't be afraid to tell people no if they ask to collaborate and you aren't feeling it. Saying no will absolutely save yourself a lot of discomfort or even trauma
Another big thing to worry about is safety. I was already pretty well-versed in this due to my past experience with sex work, but be aware that a lot of people stop seeing you as a person when you're a sex worker. This can take shape in several different ways. People can see you as a machine that just churns out porn, others can get almost obsessively protective/territorial. Because of the illusion of intimacy that comes with this sort of thing, there are also people that might genuinely start to believe that you are in a relationship with them, even if you've never spoken to them directly.
The most dangerous part of it is when people stop seeing you as a human to the point where they genuinely do not care if you get hurt. Things like doxxing, threats, assault, it's all an issue. Obviously if you're just doing audio work and you don't plan to show your face then that can minimize it a bit, but it's still something to be aware of. It's present in pretty much all online spaces, I mean just look at the swatting and stuff that happens to big streamers, but it's even more of a risk with nsfw creators because of the aforementioned dehumanization that occurs.
Honestly the biggest threat with this is from people you know. I know everyone always says "be prepared for people you know to find out, because the bigger you get the more likely it is to happen" but I think a lot of people immediately think of like, friends and family. While it may be awkward or uncomfortable, or even end up with being disowned or something in some extreme cases, usually you don't need to worry about your physical safety if they find out.
The danger comes from people who know you, but not well, or who might have some sort of ill-will against you. Your creepy neighbor who knows your address, your shitty ex who has a grudge against you, the barista at the coffee shop who knows when you routinely come in and knows what car you drive, the random old classmate who you texted once because you were in a group project together and still has your number. Things like that. Again, if you're less recognizable because you're not showing your face then this risk is minimized, but it's still a risk nonetheless
This was a long response, and I feel like it was just a bunch of warnings, but this absolutely is not something you should jump into without knowing the risks. People say sex work is "easy money" but it's far from it. This line of work, while often really fun and enjoyable, comes with a lot of risks, and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I told someone "oh yeah it's great just do it!"
Which is why I despised all the onlyfans models who were trying to get people to sign up during quarantine

My AU Raf Facts:
He isn't a brunette in this AU- instead his features include light freckled skin, cornflower blue eyes and a head of bright copper-colored curls.
***
He doesn't have any siblings in this AU- lives with two dads. One's Irish and the other's Brazilian- he calls them 'Dad' and 'Papa' respectively.
***
His favorite food, surprisingly is Haggis.
***
Whereas canon Raf was the embodiment of the 'shy and mild-mannered nerd' trope, this Raf is the embodiment of the 'done with everyone's nonsense' trope. He's basically the braincell holder of the group, while Jack and Miko are the reckless lunatics.
***
Like- bro's the type to terrorize eight year olds on Roblox and know the entirety of FNAF lore like the back of his own hand. He's a little terror in his own right and he absolutely has zero problem with somebody getting hurt. Jack has to serve as the voice of reason sometimes, since he's basically the team's moral compass.
***
He has less in common with Bumblebee and more with Ratchet, in that they're perpetually angry and tired. But one difference is that Raf doesn't really show it.
***
A child prodigy when it comes to hacking and competitive gaming, he's a few grades above other people his age, and is often praised by adults for his talents. He is earnest, frank and helpful most of the time, but he also possesses the temper and pride befitting of any child genius.
***
One time, a couple of delinquents egged his house- he ran outside and chased them with his chancla, screaming at the top of his lungs like a maniac: "YOU DEFILE MY HOUSE, I KILL WHAT YOU LOVE!"
***
He can be quite competitive when it comes to things he's passionate about, especially video games.
***
In his pastime, he's a fairly popular streamer and social media influencer, going by his gamer tag "Player_Zero" whenever online. Oh- and also, did I mention that he absolutely HATES Knockout and takes whatever opportunity he can get to clown on him during online matches?
***
He's much more confident and self-assured due to his background- however, due to his talents, he's only ever been liked for his talents and not for who he was as a person. This caused feelings of pent-up disdain, leading to him feeling either patronized or dehumanized. He bonds with Ratchet in that regard.

I got sad... Was watching a vid about the launch thingies and the Dream tweets appeared
And I can't believe how people treat Dream.... Like he's not even a person
I've been in rp fandoms for years but I've never seen this dehumanization of a ytuber/streamer
yeah it sucks
half of it is from the overall dehumanization of online harassment during covid and half of it is because of how lolcow'd dream has become overall

Can i actually aubmit my. Lobcorp modern au im thinking too much ahout to the point im making DESIGNS for it.
SO.
lobcorp was an mlm ran by an exmormon from utah (carmen) headquarted in nyc. The mlm was widespread but only a few specific college or highschool students (the sefirot) truly knew the true nature of it. Maybe the mlm would be like psychological? Like a betterhelp-esque scandle sjit? Or mahbe like vitamins and all. Few years later quixote and meursault are attorneys who recruit witnesses of the mlm (the sinners) as testimonies for the court case. Ayin was also a ceo of the mlm but he literally just fucking cheated on benjamin and left him and angela and whilst angela and benjamin are in a whole other state ayij is leading a cult.
Then she’s finally gojng to college and. “Congratulations your father died and now you own the property of Seed Of Light Co.” so she then decides ro work on a case study regarding the cult which is how she meets the sefirot. Carmen was raised mormon, moved to nyc when she was 8 and became a scientologist as an adult.
Some of the thjngs in the court case could be like “faust is working for a laboratort and thinks these drugs are extremely unsafe” “ishmael’s coworkers blowed like 700 dollars on these shitass pills” “kromer was a twitch streamer and promoted the mlm products and kromer also had her followers swat sinclair for tje sole basis that he is jewish”…
When carmen moves to nyc she befriends giovanni despite him not being mormon like her family (adoptive family is catholic but giovanni is ethnically jewish) think gio would be half italian half eritrean
Theres so much more than this lmfao like. Test tube baby + disabled angela to explain how much she dehumanizes herslef but like.
this falls under rule 5, you've put too much thought into it for it to be a bad au, but you should definitely elaborate on it on your own blog :O

It really bothers me how people on English speaking internet anonymize and therefore slightly dehumanize Chinese people on the net.
I'm reading an indie game retrospective about the success of their game who named the western streamers who streamed their game early on, but referred to a Chinese one as, I quote, "some Chinese streamer on bilibili" despite the fact that this streamer got them a publisher deal that was a key part of their success story.
I don't think it's just a matter of not naming someone you assume your audience won't know or wanting to avoid mentioning a foreign name (which is ... Still weird...). In lolita circles, people often namedrop brands regardless of if they're western or Japanese, and also regardless of if they're indie or brand. However, I almost never see a Chinese brand named- everyone is always referred to as a "Taobao brand". (Rainedragon has a great post on this from 2018, so I guess this is not a new problem). I definitely notice when creators shoutout western indies who use Chinese manufacturing, but won't name pieces by Chinese designers*. It's giving not seeing Chinese people and designers as members of your hobby community, but some unknown black-box monolith that content just materializes from that you can take from thoughtlessly.
Lastly, I think anyone pulling out the "but the Chinese govt is bad!" Excuse for being rude to random indie clothing designers and game streamers is being intentionally ignorant. How have US people gone thru the trump administration and assume everyone in a country agrees with their leaders. Also if you're truly so horrified by the entire country of China that you don't even want to name them, you can stop taking publishing deals from them and buying cheap blouses and shoes for your wardrobe from them. But you won't.
* Not disparaging western indies brands or using Chinese manufacturing- let's not pretend Chinese manufacturing is unilaterally unethical, or unethical labor practices don't happen in the US.

i have a lot of thoughts about how the term 'parasociality' gets misused and diluted in streamer fandoms but definitely one of the most absurd is believing that displaying any kind of human concern or empathy towards a creator is somehow Parasocial and Dehumanizing. as if it is not the most normal thing ever to see someone talk about struggling emotionally and having sympathy for them

3am ramblings incoming: people get so hung up on having a lot of fictional introjects or nonhuman alters and shit and how it's not realistic or doesn't make sense or whatever, may I also present to you: CDDs literally develop from childhood. Of course it makes sense that a child may imagine themselves as a nonhuman. Or that they related to a fictional character. Or a celebrity they imprinted on.
And also, even for adults.... singlets will often introject bits and pieces of their own identity from the media they consume. Haven't you seen people who will point at a character and go "I relate to this one" or even, in more simple terms, "oh hey it me"? Haven't people picked up little idiosyncracies from the people around them, including from celebrities or streamers or other content creators? For those of us with CDDs, we already have a fragmented sense of self, which can present itself as literal parts of our ouselves identifying with other people, and the human subconscious often does not differentiate between what is "real" and what is "fictional" or even what is "personal" and what is "parasocial".
And there are also a lot people, including singlets, who identify with being some form of nonhuman. I'm not familiar with these communities myself, but furries and therians and otherkin immediately come to mind for me. And even outside of these communities, I've often seen people relate their experiences to being a robot, or a vampire, or a demon, or anything else. Often it's because these people have been dehumanized to the point they no longer identify with "being human", but that may not always be the case. So, why is it so odd when someone with a CDD has alters who are also nonhuman?
Obviously fakeclaimers will do anything to fakeclaim others and I'm sure there's no shortage of overlap between those who fakeclaim CDD systems and those who call others cringe for relating to fictional characters or for being furries or kinning or anything else I've mentioned here, but this post isn't for them, this is specifically for the people who doubt their CDDs because they have too many fictional introjects/streamers/celebrities/nonhuman alters/etc.

rory , Give me the rundown on the dsmp drama . what happened this time . s’il vous plait
ALRIGHT this is gonna take a second . long post incomin <3
tommyinnit says his least favorite person that he met in 2024 was mizkif . mizkif responds to this by insulting tommy back . xqc weighs in and calls tommy Cringe . tommy replies by tweeting a photo of xqc meeting donald trump and calling him cringe back . dream, umprompted, responds with this:
Tumblr media
this did not go over well
dream made a response on reddit basically saying "so its fine when nicholas cantu calls me slurs but its not okay when i use the same one?" he then deleted the post
tubbo did a livestream talking about the situation . i did not watch this stream but i'm sure things were said
dream goes live for like four hours . i watched the last two or three i think so i might be missing some pieces but from what i've gathered he spent the stream:
not acknowledging his use of the r slur
kinda outing himself as a trump supporter ??
bringing in random creators that have nothing to do with the situation (ex. claiming tommy is the reason he and quackity are no longer friends, saying that aimsey (another former dsmp streamer) was the mastermind behind the allegations against georgenotfound*, and bringing up that ludwig claimed dream called a girl a whore)
going on an evil villain rant
skimming through tubbos stream and essentially ignoring his main points (also i want to mention the way he talks about tubbo is kinda gross in the way were it feels like hes kinda dehumanizing tubbo ??)
(*i'm pretty sure that was the context, but he did bring aimsey up in some capacity about them being an "evil mastermind" .)
tommyinnit releases a short video basically telling dream to get therapy and to touch grass (in a polite way) .
dream releases a short video refuting claims made in tommy's video but providing no proof (ex. claiming that tommy worked with a company that uses child labor, underpays his editors, and overexaggerated when he said that dream harassed tommy's mom) . in the same video, he also cut up parts of tubbo's second vod to only include the parts where he was nice to dream .
i don't remember if this was before or after tommy/dreams videos, but tubbo did go live for a third time to react to the stream dream did . in this stream, he revealed that dream didn't even pay for the dream smp server; a different creator did . he also called dream out for skipping through tubbo's vod .
it might've been the same stream as the third one, or it may have been a fourth, but tubbo also reacted to dream's video . he once again got on dream's ass for cutting his stream up to make it seem like he was only positively talking about dream . he also proved (either in this stream or the next) that tommy does not in fact pay his editors poorly and that the screenshot dream provided as "proof" was edited out of context and iirc wasn't even about tommy in the first place ?
now . today's stream . tubbo and dream got into a discord call because tubbo wanted clarification on certain assertions made in dream's video . i missed two hours of this stream but i tuned in for the second two . by the time i got onto the stream, they were discussing the merch company using child labor . tubbo wanted to know why this was relevant (especially since dream couldn't prove anything and he KNEW that tubbo, legally, cannot talk about it) . dream talked in circles . tubbo brought up the fact that tommy's editors all came out to say that they were paid very well . dream talked in circles . tubbo asked about the queerbaiting . dream talked in circles .
during this stream, dream was being very condescending towards tubbo, referred to tubbo as "tommy" at least three separate times, and interrupted him constantly . the stream ended with barely anything getting resolved . dream constantly claimed he had taken "missteps" instead of outright admitting he did anything wrong . he also refused to provide evidence for any of his claims .
some other things:
the day after dream's stream, quackity went live . he spent the entire stream promoting his new project and deliberately ignored dream . he did the same thing a year ago when dream dragged him into drama he did not want to be involved in .
ludwig talked about his experience with dream regarding the whole "dream calling ludwig's friend a whore" . apparently, dream dm'd ludwig a whole longwinded message defending himself . he was not talking about ludwig's friend in this message . he has allegedly called two women whores .
i have not personally seen anyone in the community stick up for dream in any capacity which i think is indicative of the sort of person he is, but that's my own opinion .
tldr; dream inserted himself into a situation he did not need to and has been getting ripped to shreds for like three days in a row

(same anon about appologies fucking you over in us law)
i also think a lot of people forget that as a mexican man in the US, there's a highger layer of danger for him at being doxxed than some people might know about.
the US system is made to harm people like him. people were threatening to SWAT him, this has happened to streamers before. and the US is a place where people go out with assault weapons with the specific intent to hurt immigrants and anyone who is not "the norm"
so genuinely, seeing the ex-admins like tweets saying he's only victimizing himself, claiming he's being to emotional, and post messages like "womp womp" at Q's stream.... i cant help but to feel horrified
i understand the anger. i understand feeling upset at him.
i dont understand dehumanizing him to the point of mocking his emotions or his feeling scared for his physical safety when he ltierally got sent pictures of his house with threatening messages
Putting your previous ask here so I can do a 2-in-1 answer.
Tumblr media
I had actually seen the post you linked but thanks anyway for brining it up to my attention, especially because I should have been more specific answering that one anon when i said that saying sorry can’t lead to legal consequences !
Yes, saying sorry can incriminate you if you word it in such a way that it turns into you admitting a wrongdoing, this is actually the . Wacky exemple but if you steal 5$ from someone and then tell them « I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have stolen these 5$ from you », you’re admitting of having done so. But if you say something like « I’m sorry that happened I wish I could help you get these 5$ back » you’re good.
OP’s post and the article they quoted expressed that pretty well so I’ll link it here too :
———
About your second ask : First, anyone who goes out of their way to spread Q’s personal information and/or uses it to threaten and harass him are proper freaks and I will never stand for that.
This is especially gross because, as you rightfully said, it’s particularly dangerous in the US because of police brutality during swatting and well, guns. Even more so if you’re an immigrant like it’s the case for Q.
I don’t think some of the admins reacted the way they did in relation to Q expressing fear for his safety, there are still a lot of things that were said and, I would argue more specifically, unsaid in his stream that can be criticised. I wanna do a post about his stream later when I’ll have thought about it more in depth (it’s a nonsensical draft sitting in notes app rn i still need to pump myself with more caffeine to get the braincells properly working)

Hello! I saw your post on asking ab ppl's opinions on the DSMP and had so many thoughts to share I actually went to my pc to write this, lol. Long ask incoming, sorry.
I started watching the DSMP in august of 2020, specifically right after the Techno vs. Dream duel. At this point in time, the Dream SMP tag had only like ten posts--not exaggerating, you would scroll and see the same few posts over and over again cause there was almost no fandom. I followed the series pretty much religiously all the way up to the prison break, where I then basically had to stop watching cause my life was falling apart (paying attention to streamers all day every day causes you to fail classes, who knew?)
So I guess I don't have a lot to say on the ending, other than it certainly was an ending. I think the crew did a good job with what they had, I liked the realization c!Tommy had towards c!Dream and what was once an innocent intention of server unity twisting into something else. I think using the nuke to blow everything up to start anew was a cop-out, but I also know (or at least feel like) the server itself was falling apart IRL and they had to bring it to a conclusion somehow. (Because of that, I knew the server wouldn't get a "season 2")
You mentioned how you liked it on a thematic level rather than emotional, and it really made me think about how my own interest manifested. I was certainly invested in these characters and their stories, but I only carried an emotional attachment to c!Tommy and c!Dream (and DreamXD, but only because I love deities in fiction).
I think, story-wise, the DSMP had many elements that hit hard, c!Tommy's abuse being one of them. During the prison arc, when c!Dream is being tortured constantly by c!Quackity, a large part of the fandom rooted for c!Q because c!Dream was an abuser and deserved the dehumanizing treatment. And boy do I have some opinions on that, lol. Because of the nature of the DSMP, I never thought of it as a teaching element, and your comment on that only being prevalent to children's media struck a chord--because, yeah, that makes sense. The target audience for the DSMP is a bit skewed, because it does take place in an all-ages video game, but the storyline and characters themselves would never get a G rating. I always considered the DSMP to be a bunch of people having fun exploring the different ways they can write a story/character, without any real end-game in mind. They did marvelous, too, in my opinion. I don't believe the DSMP was ever meant to be a literary marvel, or whatever the video-game equivalent is, so for a bunch of then-friends just throwing ideas at a wall and seeing what sticks with the fans, it did it's job.
People now, coming into the fandom for the first time, or looking in from the outside trying to analyze it, don't understand it, imo. It's not that the narrative can only be experienced at the time it was written, because no, you can watch and re-watch it thanks to VODS and recap channels. But so many people hear stories of it being a great time and a great story with great characters and then analyze it to put it on a pedestal only to see that its a piece of fiction with many flaws. Not understanding that the SMP wasn't created to be role-playing server, that never even crossed their minds. It was meant to be a place to have fun and explore a snapshot. That's not saying the cc's shouldn't have made the story in the first place, it's just highlighting how out of control the SMP got due to influencers' fame and fun writing. It was a product of its time because everyone was together, quarantined, exploring how far they could go in a virtual setting. Sorry, rambling a bit. I just think that a sensation like the DSMP can never be repeated on such a scale, and that feeling is why so many outsiders expect so much.
Hope this makes sense, haha. Sorry it's not juicy discourse, but thanks for listening anyway.
No its fine, thank you very much for telling me this!
I initially started watching I think right before the exile arc started but by the time I figured out how to best watch it and caught up with it, it had already been going for a few days, then I followed along with it for a while until I lost interest sometime after the big clingyduo v. Dream fight. Then in late 2022 I was at a local comic con and saw someone in a ghostbur cosplay and some people carrying around a big lmanberg flag and it just made me feel so nostalgic that I wanted to rewatch/finish it, and because I thought it would be fun I also made this sideblog to liveblog it. Im pretty sure dsmp was already over or at the very least getting close to the end by the time I did that, so it gave me a kind of distance that definitely affected my experience with the show.
Like, I think if I had kept up with it throughout (what i would consider to be) its decline and then had to witness that ending after all that, I would definitely feel more negatively about it, so I understand why it was upsetting for a lot of fans, but as it stands, I can mostly just remember it as an overall good piece of media that started stumbling towards the last quarter or so and then ended in a way thats fine, although not particularly satisfying on an emotional level. Like, Dream and Tommy's whole storyline was essentially about the cyclical nature of violence and I think ending the cycle is the best way to resolve that kind of story and in theory, having them make amends before they both die together sounds good to me, but idk, in practice I just didnt like it lol. I think its mainly because their attempts to make Dream seem more sympathetic were kinda too little-too late; Dream didnt have his own pov when most people did which automatically dehumanized him in the eyes of the audience, which was brilliant for the manipulative and unpredictable villian character that he was, but I feel like the CCs didnt really realize that that was the case and didnt feel the need to show stuff from his pov, when it was actually vital imo
You said that people coming into the fandom now come into it with these expectations and I think thats true, but I feel like people who have been following it since the rp properly started also tended to put it on a pedastal because of how genuinely impressively good it was in the beginning, and then when the finale was Like That, a lot of them were insanely disappointed. I also think thats where a lot of the discourse revolving around the ending sending a bad message comes from — a lot of people think of it as something very polished like an actual tv-show when thats simply not what it is or ever was. Its just people fucking around and having fun, and when people just fuck around, theyre not really thinking about "being responsible to their audience" or whatever. Take it from me as a writer lol, I have plans for ya-novels that touch on serious topics and with those I do try to be mindful of the fact that my audience is younger (although teenagers are obviously not children and already dont need to be taught via their media anymore imo), but when Im just writing a little short story I'll usually make it as fucked up as possible just because thats fun to me, yknow
