Zenos quickly earned his reputation among the scions as a cruel master- a brutal teacher often seen carrying those he trains back to the annex for recouperation on their first days spent with him.

For he has one simple goal: to break apart his companions doubts and weaknesses so that he may build those he cares about back up stronger. Even if they yell at him, hate him for it, take their frustrations out upon him, it matters not.

What matters to him is that they will have the strength to forge the future they want.

Thinking about how much fun it would be to have Flowey DM a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Technically the vote's not done yet, but quite a few people have expressed interest in seeing the Undertale gang play D&D, so I've been reading up on the rules, working on a cohesive art style, creating characters and so on.

Like, I homebrewed a "living skeleton" species modifier so Sans and Papyrus can play skeletons that aren't as weak as the enemy skeletons, and they can choose a species from the player's handbook because Papyrus likes the human +1 for every ability, while Sans is partial to the halfling "lucky" trait, but they also get unique weaknesses and strengths because they are also skeletons.

I wish I was better at drawing maps though...

What astounds me about the whole "you need a pure human SOUL to perfect the serum" thing is that so many people take Chujin's conclusion at face value. Chujin Ketsukane? Chujin "Winner of the 'You Tried In Engineering' Award" Ketsukane? Chujin "Fumbled Inventing Robots So Hard He Earned The Ire Of The Usually Pretty Chill King" Ketsukane? Chujin "I Accidentally Killed A Human Child By Overshooting The Parameters On My Guard Robot" Ketsukane? That Chujin Ketsukane?

#undertale yellow #get reaaaaal.#get so reaaaaaaaal.#i know that people make his conclusion correct because they wanna bring Kanako back (even though she's not actually dead)#or something along those lines to make Ceroba's whole tunnel visioned scheme all feel worth it in the end #(even though her whole arc is about not being so caught up in the past and reaching out to the people around her)#but it doesn't feel right to me that the serum would work. it feels more like the point is that this whole affair was a harebrained #scheme cooked up by a paranoid and desperate man.#believe what you wanna believe but personally i don't think being pure of heart would've been the answer. i don't think #there's any way for a miracle serum to be conjured up like that.#also SOUL stuff has been shown to be more complicated than most people think. alphys thought that injecting determination #into Fallen Down monsters would make their SOULs persist after death and they ended up waking up then fusing into Amalgamates #tldr: i *personally* think that even if Ceroba got Clover's SOUL the serum still wouldn't have worked.#(edit: I'm not vagueing anyone btw. genuinely killing undyne in a neutral run and then walking through hotland later and seeing alphys' posts go "just realized i didn't watch undyne fight the human... well i know she's unbeatable i'll ask her about it later v . v" completely unaware of what's happened is one of the most unpleasant and harrowing experiences in undertale and i am not kidding even a little bit

#undertale #she doesn't fucking know.#that's part of why undyne's no mercy death is in a way less heartbreaking than her neutral death #partly because in neutral she didn't expect this. she had no clue you would be powerful enough- experienced enough- to defeat her #and she dies terrified of what you'll do to her loved ones #while in no mercy she gave it all she had and she dies knowing alphys has a plan to evacuate everyone if she loses #AND alphys at least knows. like. watching your best friend and the one you love die horribly in real time #while you're powerless to help obviously isn't fun.#but is it worse than having no idea she died until after you've unknowingly befriended her murderer #and helped them in every part of their quest?#is it worse than only finding out what's happened after they've gone and you're truly stuck there with her gone and them untouchable?#despite everything. undertale still makes me insane.

I'm not gonna indulge too much in my Undertale AU on Tumblr, I am gonna just keep it private as I do wanna keep my main focus on my FNAF AU, but here y'all go

It's a little rough, but people really liked my Mettaton AU design so I wanted to desperately draw him :')

It's not the best, but I wanted to draw something today.

#i spent all of today mucking around with my art fight #changing profile pics for characters and editing all 90+ of my attacks to have updated thumbnails #aswell as adding characters and such--- it was alot #so this was a nice random sketch i did just to wind down.#I also randomly painted an eyeball out of boredom so THAT'S something #but yeah i hope this is ok #its rough like i said but theres a charm to it.#a little about my AU mettaton as a treat:#he is heavily posessed. he ran away from alphys halfway built between ex and neo #and has to power himself by using his actual ghost alot of the time #he salvaged his charging supply (or batteries idk what makes him run)#but the body is insufficient with power so he has to rely on possession alot of the time especially #when the body ages.#his eyes flicker pink when hes posessed and his ghost self does make himself appear outside of the suit #but with his soul still bound to the body #he can only go so far before he cannot anymore. he is literally tied to his body now HSGSVSV #he also goes by Hapsta in my au. a play on Hapstablook and also to avoid toyhouse sniping me #tho you can call him mtt or mettaton anyways idm lol #mettaton #undertale #undertale au #undertale oc #mettaton au #my art #my oc art
