[PT: immortalgender.
(hi y'all i'm coining a xenogender)
immortalgender:
a xenogender with feelings of immortality, almost vampire or god-like feelings. it has strong masculinity and androgyny, which ranges and varies. it is unending and unknowable.
another way to describe this identity is not quite having a set gender or identity you fit in with but wishing to be seen by others as masculine.
anyone may use this term. :)

Image Descriptions:
A digitally rendered pride flag. It has six horizontal stripes, all equal sizes. The flag has the following colors, from top to bottom: dark red, orange vermillion, coppery light orange, salmony light peach, pastel yellow, and pastel grayish blue.
The second image is of the same flag, with words on each of the stripes describing their meaning.
The stripes are labeled from top to bottom as follows:
Dark red: feelings of immortality.
Orange vermillion: connection to vampires and/or other mythical creatures.
Coppery light orange and salmony light peach: the consistency of sunsets and sunrises; we have always known them to be there, yet they continue to be mysteries.
Pastel yellow: androgyny.
Pastel blue: masculinity.
Under that image, there is one more, labelled "transmeds/truscum, TERFS, radfems, exclusionists DNI". Below it, it states, "If you are: anti mogai, anti xenogenders, anti neopronouns, TERFS/SWERFS, truscum/transmed, anti kin, NSFW blog, pro DDLG, anti BLM, flop accounts, pro-shipper/anti-anti, (no)map, radfem, exclusionist, LGBT+ phobe - save me the effort and block me first."

dave foley as chris, it's pat (1994)
Sorry to curse the dashboards of mankind with this film. But. chris is very pretty so its worth it. lorddd this movie is terrible, everyone says this about 90% of his filmography but dave is genuinely the only watchable part of this movie... I love you chris, pat doesn't deserve you 💔

Do you think Cielo is a gal or guy
The toy manager/developer confirmed none of the cardbots in season 2 are women, noting how it's a bit unfortunate, as it's how robot genres tend to go.
However other animation directors on the team have been referring to Cielo as an older sister in their posts and fanart. Some staff have also stated that technically there isn't a gender setting for the cardbots either. (However it's similar to transformers in that "they're just robots" so they didn't consider gender, but it's obvious they deemed men/masculinity as the default.)
But due to the nature of all that, while they don't have genders I think you're free to give any gender headcannon to the cardbots as well!~

ok no one asked but im gonna talk about this outfit. this entire outfit is very feminine. obviously hes wearing a skirt and that stands out on its own but the hoodie is also incredibly large and loose on him. the way its engulfing him and falling off of him at times is reminiscent of a girlfriend wearing her boyfriends hoodie. its hard to see it in still photos but in this performance you can really see how much it moves. the way they styled his hair in his face gives more of a feminine and kind of “innocent” look, as well. contrasted with the beginning of the mv where he has more of a casual masculine style (the tank and shorts), its stands out to me that the style evolves and the mv ends with a casual feminine style instead.
not to mention, this look is the one associated with abraxis, the god of all gods. the chicken fought its way out of the egg and had to destroy its world to do so, and flew to abraxis. etc. you know. taemin has stated this mv is connected to this concept. but i find it incredibly interesting that taemin has chosen to present abraxis as this masculine but feminine form. the masculine figure from the beginning of the music video fighting his way out of his prison to then become this very feminine figure. fascinating. amazing. im obsessed.

new gender(s) dropped!! well, it isn’t exactly new, but either way- feel free to rb + make alternate flags, and please tell me if any of this is offensive/incorrect in any way so i can make corrections! /srs
evilcoric: 1. a xenogender related to evil aesthetics. may feel connected to either “dark” (bloody and harsh) or “light” (cartoonish and fun) evil. 2. a xenogender related to having an “evil” gender, such as nonbinary or agender. the colors are based around the usual “halloween” colors, and have no true meaning; however, the grey may represent being morally grey/not entirely evil in some form.
-
werewolf-centered evilcoric: a xenogender connected to werewolf aesthetics. may feel a connection to the moon, some form of hunting, or entirely rejecting humanity on a regular basis, but does not have to.
the black is to match the initial evilgender flag, the white is for androgyny and/or rejection of black as the only “evil” color, the red is for blood, and the brown represents the most common color of werewolf fur.
-
vampire-centered evilcoric: a gender related to vampire aesthetics. may feel a connection to gothic buildings, the need to bite others, or undeniably attractive androgyny, but does not have to.
the black is to match the initial evilgender flag, the white is for androgyny and/or rejection of black as the only “evil” color, and the reds represent blood.

Since this universe utilises all characters from every iteration of the RWS/T&F, including AEG, what about the story of the Logging Locos and Misty Island? As we all know, the Logging Locos are widely hated. So what's their story and what changed about them?
oohhh alrighty!! Ive actually got them lying about here:
Starting off with bash and dash are both girls their real names are baileya and dahlia. Baileya is quite timid also the calm one and the peacemaker of the gang she’s also the one who’s gets homesick easily and the most anxious will start crying. She’s a herbalist florist gardener every plant/flower related thing knowing ever single scientific plant name and remedy after listening to the indigenous people’s of the misty valley (that’s where shining time is located here in my au) she has a soft spot for more spooky plants like larkspur and belladonnas and can “speak” with plants.
where as Dahlia has freckles and is the more outgoing energetic and open twin especially when interacting with animals she’s the one who gotta bring home animals as pets. you bet that everyone freaked out when she brought to the sheds a opossum when they visited.
So far she has a pet frog called mister hoppadiah “hopper” croakingtion that lives in her cab and a raccoon 🦝 named bubbles along with a group of wolves that she claims raised her and opossums. (James had such a fright when her pet frog 🐸 fell on his face) just like her sister she can “speak” with wildlife critters.
Ferdinand is the classic gentle giant and prefers the simple approach to life. Despite baileya’s shyness all three of them have a fair share of mischief and are known for pulling each others and others wheels.
Maybe that’s why the girls got a long distance relationship with the china clay twins…(Boco and also everyone else nearly busted his radiator when he hear about them but at the same time, they appear to reel one another in so..)
They use to be part of the early days of the island being part of the W&S from early indigenous American immigrants in the 1880s before becoming their own company for the isle of Glendale/glyndale or Brendan (which is now nicknamed misty island though it’s made up of many tiny islands) as a majority settled there (alongside some Shay ocs) something something oil and an new species of trees found there led to corporate greed and tycoons which nearly stripped the land bare before and logged it that they abandoned them and taking their friends away.
50 years later, it’s Toby and diesel who find them, the misty islanders (mainly of indigenous south and North American descent they mainly celebrated Hanukkah and epiphany, though they had others who have been stranded and were accepted into the community/village or hav left but took their friends away rubbing more salt in the wounds) and they’re all shook by how much as changed especially with diesel calling him a strange box on wheels though have since accepted the changes.

Happy Pride!!!
Finally finished my proto-drake pride line and I'm feeling proud! Pride month is almost finished, please remember to support those struggling to come out and need a safe space to feel like themselves. Because even though the month is over that doesn't mean we stop existing, support is always welcome no matter what time of the year!

Androgyny in Hesse's Work
Spoilers (a little bit) for Steppenwolf and Demian.
So we all know that Hesse was deeply influenced by his travel to India and Hinduism/Buddhism in general? But here is another recurring theme in his work: androgyny among the "guiding" characters for the protagonist.
Now, in Hinduism there are multiple accounts of deities changing gender, manifesting as different genders at different times, or combining to form androgynous or hermaphroditic beings (have to cite Wikipedia here sorry for the sourcing T-T).
These same traits are described for Hermine/Herman in Steppenwolf and Max Demian in, well, Demian. Both of these characters help the protagonist grow in some way, eg. have a profound influence on their life. I really wanted to connect this to Hindu deities because of the apparent androgynous component as well as the "divine" help that is provided by these characters. In a way, this connection can also help infer something about the overall meanings of the works, but that is a separate topic.
Anyway, the Hinduism themes in Hesse's work are like Pokemon to me, I have to find them all.

I’m not a lesbian but I wanted to say that your art is some of the most awesome and beautiful and cool ever. It’s been so cool seeing you flip the bird to gender norms and create characters that feel so genuinely truthfully human. Keep up the amazing work 💖

I rly hope for my ocs to come across as very genuinely themselves and just ppl living their lives, so I’m glad you can feel that!! Thank you sm and I hope U have a lovely day!

you're always eyeing pretty men. what about the men from tf2? are any of them pretty, or are they more like looney tunes to you?
great question!! honestly? i don't think i find any male character within TF2, in-game or in the comics, hot or pretty. they're just average run of the mill insane dudes. to me they're pretty sexless. i can't think of any situations they could be put into where i'd personally think otherwise.
even if we're only talking about looks, and not their canonical aspects, none of them really fall under any categories for me to be homo bisexual for them.

ive just accepted im just never going to fit cleanly into any label or community ever
#blaire.txt#vent incoming sorry ik this is probably really annoying#and im also sorry if this comes off insensitive or ''i have it SO hard'' i dont mean to be like that#but just. no matter how my identity rolls out i always feel like an imposter in some way#when i ided as a lesbian i already knew i was nonbinary and despite my yearning to experience it; i never knew and will never experience#being a lesbian and a binary woman. and ofc when i ided as a nonbinary lesbian was during that whole bullshit ''nonbinary people cant be#lesbians'' debate that resurfaced so that didnt fucking help#but im not a lesbian im bi so that was easy i guess. or easier#not being binary or very knowledgeable on queer history (tbh i want to change this im not proud of that) and having not participated in#many pride events and queer spaces irl (due to uh. yunno. Covid lol)#has like really made me feel like an imposter that just doesnt fit in anywhere#and now coming to terms with me being transmasc and having a strong attraction towards men and nonbinary folks has really uh. shaken things#up#and not fully in a good way bc its left me scrambling to put together the pieces#its left me in sooooooooooooo much distress i feel like so sick over it#its. not fun. esp bc im still pre-op so very girlish in appearance and voice eugh#and on top of that im also still nonbinary and do feel more neutral/androgynous some days and also consider myself gnc bc i like feminine#clothes and stuff so like. AUGH! and im also fucking 5'1-2 so no matter if i bind or get top surgery or etc i dont think ill ever pass as#not a girl so . pain!#and even saying all that makes me feel guilty bc its like. is that just internalized misogyny? am i misogynistic for feeling this way? and#IK IN MY RATIONAL MIND THATS BULLSHIT AND THIS IS *ONLY* ABT ME NOT OTHER TRANSMASCS AND NBLMS/MLMS TO BE CLEAR#im just an anxious mess with ocd and anxiety in general that just loooooooooooves latching onto bullshit like this to prove im predatory or#weird. also other ocd themes dont fucking help?#idk ill shut up now i need to be on a call but just like. its painful bc i dont feel like i fit into any queer communities lol#this also applies to disability stuff but im NOT cracking that can of worms open today sorry#ok gopdbye for now . responses are ok btw but also no pressure im kinda just emptying my head lol#vent#rant#ask to tag

So, this is quite a rant. You can skip to the bottom, if you want to know my opinion but don't want to read that much... But I worked hard on it and I think it's important, so it would make me very happy if you read through the whole text.
So this fits into something I wanted to post about anyway: a broader theme of why do we frame things as wars? Like, why is it culture war, specifically. First I liked the concept, I thought it described something quite complicated reasonably easily. But I pondered on it a bit more and I think there's more going on.
It's pretty trivial, that most societies went through a huge change over the last half century. It's not just feminism. I could make a whole list of things we as a people took on. Anti-racism and civil rights, religious acceptance, global trade, reinterpreting the meaning of peace, connecting the word through the world-wide web, etc. We ( or, as I am barely an adult and have no idea how to change things for the better, I should say you, or maybe chat) decided it was time for change, so change came. You brought it about.
And I agree. Change WAS and IS necessary. What that change should entail, well, we all have our ideas, right? And they have the ugly tendency to differ from each other. The question then is, how do we coincide our contradictory ideas on society? The answer is both worrying and very important.
To be fair, our race doesn't have a great track record on solving these kinds of issues. I dug into my historical knowledge, since, you know, those who don't learn from it, repeat it... The only thing I can compare to what's happening today would be the Reformation (which probably says a lot about my historical knowledge). That's the only time I know, where societal assumptions were altered so much in such a short time. That time it was specifically about the Catholic church (if you don't know, what I'm talking about, you really should, so Google it), and the result was a series of wars, that ultimately may have wiped out about a fifth of Europes population. The wars were of course led by powerful men, who capitalised on the divide to further their own goals.
As back then, now too, we can't rely on institutions to tame the public. Many media and political identities have a direct interest in polarising society. Because that's what happens. All these contentious issues about gender, class, or foreign policy become dividing lines between folks who are supposed to be parts of the same whole (call it community, state, nation or humanity, depending on how wide you can think). You know, how it works, probably saw it a few times, whatever your interests are. It's literally everywhere! We fight it out with the perceived enemy of the week sometimes, when there is an election, something notable happens, or it's simply Pride Month. Then everyone goes back to their respective corners, where they vehemently agree with themselves. We don't talk a lot, just throw words at each other, like Buggs Bunny, playing tennis with a dynamite.
I should say, this post is a notable and refreshing outlier. Thanks, @trans-androgyne , for starting a discussion for a change!
I know, it's a bit like nuclear armament. You can't just stop, because THEY won't, and then they win, and you can't allow that. It's life and death! And I don't have some magic pill to make it all go right, or believe me, I wouldn't sit here, typing this out at 3 in the morning Central European Time. But let me propose this: don't call it a war! Neither culture war, nor gender war, nor anything like that. Because this isn't a war. Just ask anyone in the middle east! They can tell you, what is war, and THIS IS NOT IT! And also, because it may not be guns and destruction yet, but nothing guarantees, that it stays that way. We already had multiple attempted takeovers of capital buildings since this cursed decade began, because our social reality became so fragmented, that you can't accept the results of a popular election anymore. That should raise alarm bells. I know it does, but it can be much worse! Learn from history, do not repeat it! Hit the Wiki page on the Huguenot war! On the siege of Magdeburg. Or, if that's not your cup of tea, watch Civil War! I genuinely think it's the best movie of the year.
Call it Social Discourse! That sounds much more manageable, doesn't it? Or you can come up with something else, as long as it isn't some warmongering bullshit. And maybe the next time you meet someone with sexist, homophobic, racist, or maybe radical left and anarchistic views (whatever you're opposing), don't attack them with your words! Those aren't weapons. Try to talk to them instead! Try talking about feelings! Listen to theirs, make them understand yours! I say feelings, because you both have those. Try finding a common ground, however small, and build up from there. Like Minecraft Skyblock. It can be hard in a challenging way, instead of making you want to shoot yourself in the head. Remember, you aren't fighting a war. You are having a discourse.
All of it is to say, the world and society are changing, wether you like it or not, and we have to change with it, to survive. That is the simple fact. If you call that change a war, that's just gonna make the whole thing unnecessarily painful for everyone involved.
This was sociopolitical advice from a giant armadillo.
Genuinely, what happened to “feminism is for everyone”?
That’s the feminism I grew up with: encouraging people to recognize that fighting sexism and restrictive gender roles helps folks of every gender. We’d push back on the idea that feminists hate men, pointing to inclusive feminist literature and how many men are feminists.
Now, there are so many people insisting that the solution to patriarchy is to openly hate and ostracize men no matter what. Why? What is the benefit? It’s certainly not effective in fighting oppressive structures to exclude half the population from your cause on the basis of immutable traits. It may feel cathartic to say horrible things about men and try to punish them for your frustrations with patriarchy. But the only actual effect I see is the increasing right-wing radicalization of young men, who are being told that the left hates them for the way they were born and presented with an abundance of proof that it’s true.
Why are we going back to treating men and women as different species? It doesn’t fix things to say “well women are the good gender and men are the bad one” this time. If you sincerely want to dismantle sexism, you’re going to have to unpack and let go of all sex and gender essentialism—even that which considers women inherently pure and men inherently immoral.
