2) Arid Mesa, Misty Rainforest, Verdant Catacomb
3) Arid Mesa, Verdant Catacomb
4) Verdant Catacomb
Deck list:
Archetype: Jund
Designer: Noah L.
Mainboard
Lands:
2x Forest
2x Rootbound Crag
4x Stomping Ground
4x Overgrown Tomb
4x Blood Crypt
4x Woodland Cemetery
3x Dragonskull Summit
2x Kessig Wolf Run
Creatures:
4x Huntmaster of the Fells
3x Scavenging Ooze
4x Thragtusk
1x Sire of Insanity (I don't care if the pros don't use him, this guy is a mutherfuckin baller)
1x Vampire Nighthawk
3x Olivia Voldaren
Artifacts:
1x Rakdos Keyrune
Planeswalkers:
2x Garruk Primal Hunter
2x Liliana of the Veil
Spells:
1x Putrefy
2x Doom Blade
1x Dreadbore
3x Pillar of Flame
2x Bonfire of the Damned
1x Rakdos Return
4x Farseek
Sideboard
1x Mindsparker (he's such a cutie, and he's insane against the control matchup.)
1x Pillar of Flame (even though I think Voice of Resurgence is an overpriced sideboard card at it best, it doesn't hurt to have just one more answer to it)
1x Rakdos's Return
1x Sire of Insanity
1x Acidic Slime
2x Putrefy
2x Gaze of Granite (this card is beast. Everytime I mention Gaze of Granite as a sideboard tech against like tokens or hexproof or aggro I get laughed at. Then I cast it, with x being 2 or 3 (or 0 against tokens) and I laugh as they scoop)
2x Vraska the Unseen (good in the control matchup, if she lands she will eventually make creatures that can win you the game, and against U/W/R she gets rid of Assemble the Legion. I find that alot of times against control I will board these two in and play Jund Superfriends)
2x Devour Flesh (as long as hexproof is a thing, so will this card)
2x Abrupt Decay (it hits enchantments in Hexproof, Voice of Resurgences in Aggro and Aristocrats, and is just all around good.)
Match Breakdown-
Round 1:
I got the bye. I'm so Pro.
Round 2:
Opponent: Keith D. (thats our Keith)
Deck: Bant Hexproof
Record: 1-0-0
Game 1: I kept a very aggressive hand with enough enchant destruction and ways to make him sacrifice his creatures to just force him out of the game.
Enter scoop phase, proceed to Game 2.
Game 2: Post-sideboard I brought in two copies of Vraska, the Unseen, two Devour Flesh, an additional Pillar of Flame, one Gaze of Granite, and two more Abrupt Decays (uncounterable enchantment destruction? I think so). My opening hand was fairly solid, I had a Vraska, a Devour Flesh, enough land to feel comfortable, an Abrupt Decay, and a Farseek. It was a decent keep, and I felt like I could have won the game with it (as long as I hit my land drops and survived to turn 5, a Gaze of Granite for three wouldve wiped the board.)
Thankfully, he got mana screwed and didn't hit a white source until the game was pretty much over.
Round 3:
Opponent: Matt F.
Deck: Red Deck Wins(Mono-red)
Record: 2-0-0
Game 1: He hit a few burn spells, but it wasn't anything overwhelming. I had enough Pillar of Flames to hit his creatures, and then I proceeded to just kill him with creatures. Ended that game at 14 life.
Game 2: Basically the same situation as the first game. I sideboarded in an additional Pillar of Flame and proceeded to beat face/gain life with Swagtusk and Scavenging Ooze.
Round 4:
Opponent: Paul M.
Deck: Naya Midrange
Record: 3-0-0
Game 1/2: This entire round went badly. I couldn't hit enough Pillars to answer his Voice of Resurgences, and I didn't hit enough removal to kill the Domri Rade he ulted twice or his Thundermaw Hellkites. The second game I got mana-flooded, This was my first loss of the day.
Round 5:
Opponent: Sean S.
Deck: Esper Control
Record: 3-1-0
Game 1: Game one was about what I'd expected, I managed to get a Garruk, Primal Hunter out early, along with a Scavenging Ooze,a dn I was able to make enough Beast tokens and exile enough of his graveyard to win.
Game 2: I was able to land a few threats early game and get him down to 3 health, but one very lucky Sphinx's Revelation not only pulled him out of that hole, but it also got him enough removal to wipe my board. I proceeded to be mana-flooded until I lost to his Obzedat.
Game 3: This match was incredibly close. Both of our life totals kept fluctuating up and down for a while, without either of us landing anything big. He eventually landed an Aetherling, which I proceeded to Putrefy (he didn't blink it), then on my Turn I was able to Rakdos's Return and wipe his hand, then I landed a Lilianna and he was forced to sacrifice his Obzedat (he didn't phase it out). Next turn I landed Sire of Insanity and Garruk, and proceeded to beat face with beasts.
Quarterfinals:
I played against the same Esper Control player from Round Five. Since I was currently in 2nd place and on the play, I was stupid and kept a 6 lander and a Farseek as my opening hand. Having kept hands like this before and not having issues (I usually do very well with those hands), I was surprised when my deck decided to mana-flood me. Proceed to game 2.
This game, I was off to a decent start, landing a Huntmaster of the Fells and a Scavenging Ooze. Unfortunately, he hit a few too many board wipes for me to recover, I got both of my Vraskas countered (they were my only real hope at this point.), and proceeded to get mana-flooded again while his Obzedat beat me.
Moral of the Story: Hold instant speed removal for Obzedat, and don't keep six land hands, no matter how well they may have treated you in the past.

So would anyone be interesting in co-piloting this blog?
I try to be as active as possible, so does keith, but he works like a million jobs right now and I'm busy as always, so we're falling behind in activity. We're looking for one or two new people to make posts and basically help run the blog.
If you're interested I guess send us the following info as your "resume":
*First name/nickname (this is for the "Magic Farmula Team" page as well as signing off on your posts. (i.e. "Wil, aka ahoboandhisbox))\
*your tumblr url
*if you run any magic sideblogs (this is mainly to satisfy my curiosity, it wont effect our decision.)
*why do you want to be an admin for our blog?
*will you be willing to share your deck lists, do tournament analysis/write-up thingies (this is something I plan on doing weekly for fnm's, as well as for various other tournaments here and there. expect one on Monday!), as well as participate in the Deck of the Day posts we used to make? (this is an idea i really love, but im thinking of cutting it from every day to only a few days so that we can consistantly make the posts. as some of you may remember we always fell short in that area.), and finally, you must be willing to post spoilers as you see them
A few things we like to see in our admins:
-the ability to be helpful/kind towards people seeking advice/help
-creativity/innovation in your decks (it just makes reading the lists more interesting)
-and some dedication
I'd really hate to see this blog die out, and I think some new blood might help perk things up a little. so please, send us an ask with the above info and we'll get back to you asap!

Alright Guys, I need some help.
So I made this decklist last night, and It actually works fairly well. I playtested it against two tron lists earlier today and it won all the matches, but I would like to be able to make it more consistant/better overall.
  Here's the list:
Deck Name:  Blood March
Designer: Ahoboandhisbox
  Creatures (12):
4x Perilous Myr
3x Myr Moonvessel
1x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4x Myr Retriever
  Spells (26):
4x Serum Visions
2x Spell Snare
4x Spell Pierce
3x Beck//Call
3x Bloodbond March
3x Thoughtseize
2x Maelstrom Pulse
1x Pact of Negation
4x Heartless Summoning
  Lands (22):
2x Verdant Catacombs
3x Misty Rainforest
2x Overgrown Tomb
2x Watery Grave
1x Hallowed Fountain
2x Drowned Catacomb
2x Woodland Cemetery
1x Hinterland Harbor
3x Island
1x Swamp
1x Forest
2x Boseiju, Who Shelters All
  Sideboard (15):
3x Noxious Revival
2x Surgical Extraction
1x Pact of Negation
2x Hurkyll's Recall
2x Krosan Grip
3x Engineered Explosives
2x Teleminn Performance
Alright, so basically this deck takes a BUG Control shell, and morphs it into something that can not only house and support the combo, but also protect it while disrupting your opponent enough to ensure that your deck goes off properly, and that theirs falls to pieces  What this deck is trying to do is get out Heartless Summoning and Bloodbond March in order to play the Myr creatures for free. You can win in 1 of 2 ways:
     1) Use the Perilous Myrs to inflict 20 points of damage to your opponent
                                                  or
     2) Cycle through the Myr Moonvessels to produce enough mana to hard-cast an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.
Using the "Beck" half of Beck//Call, yuo can draw through your entire deck by casting all of your myr cards for free, and normally have no issues finishing the combo. Sometimes you won't even need it to combo off. If you have out both Bloodbond March and Heartless Summoning, and have two Myr Retrievers and a Perilous Myr (or a Myr Moonvessel and an Emrakul) in hand, you can kill them on the spot.
-Play the Perilous Myr, deal two damage.
-Play the Myr Retriever, return Perilous Myr to your hand. Recast it.
-Play the second Myr Retriever  Bloodbond March will trigger, putting the Myr Retriever that's in your graveyard into play. Both of them will die, giving you two Myr Retriever abilities onthe stack. Use one of them to put the Perilous Myr into your hand, and the second trigger to recur one of the Myr Retrievers.
-Lather, Rinse, and Repeat as Necessary.
Its really simple enough once you get the hang of it.
  Potential Changes:
I feel like this deck needs more threats/protection/disruption, maybe more things to search up artifacts. Dropping the Myr Moonvessels and the Emrakul might give me more spaces for things like Gifts Ungiven or Trinket Mage, or even more support spells. Duress, Sleight of Hand, and Mana Leak  are all petential additions.
I am looking for input here, so please comment on this deck with any ideas and suggestions.
  Sideboard Choices
Teleminn Performance- This card basically makes an opponent mill until they hit a creature, then you gain control of that creature. It has the potential to cripple storm and some tron decks, as well as any other spell-heavy decks.
Noxious Revival- allows for you to continue the combo if you somehow screw up by giving you access to mana-less grave recursion. Its also good in case of graveyard hate.
Pact of Negation- just another counter.
Hurkyll's Recall- affinity and eggs's worst nightmare
Krosan Grip- handy, uncounterable artifact/enchantment hate
Engineered explosives - wipes the opponoents board with little to no impact to you. The Hallowed Fountain is in the deck just to give this an extra charge counter. (Looking to replace this one)
Suggestions?
