♦️♦️June Wrap Up (1/2)♦️♦️⁣ ⁣ Have you guys found your favourite read of June yet? ⁣ ⁣ I'm a tiny bit early but I just realized I might have went overboard with the number of books I read this month. 🙈⁣ ⁣ So here's a quick wrap up of the first twelve books! ⁣ ⁣ 🔹The Winners Trilogy-- The series is so underrated. It's got politics, betrayal, forbidden romance and so much angst! The writing is beautiful and it's slow burn in the beginning. 10/10 would recommend. 😍⁣ ⁣ 🔹Even The Darkest Stars duology-- Hello there, book that left me a sobbing mess. This series was the biggest surprise I had this year! It's chronically underrated and thinking of the ending of the first book still gives me palpitations.😭 Y'all should give it a shot. ⁣ Ayesha at Last-- A P&P retelling with a Muslim twist. I'm afraid that while I loved the first half, the overabundance of plot lines and presence of several stereotypical characters ruined the book for me. ⁣ ⁣ 🔹Song of the Current duology-- Confession, I'm still in the middle of the second book but it's an okay read. I picked it up for the enemies to lovers trope and badass pirates but something just feels lacking. 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣ ⁣ 🔹Ace of Shades-- I saw Six of Crows on the back and I had to try it! 😂⁣ Basically, a fun read but predictable. A bit confusing but still fresh! I'd give it 3/5 maybe? ⁣ ⁣ 🔹Stormdancer-- The first of The Lotus War trilogy and I buddy read it with @books.bags.burgers ! The first half is slow but once it gets going you're golden. 😍⁣ ⁣ 🔹THUG-- Beautiful and relevant. A contemporarie I'd always recommend.⁣ ⁣ 🔹 Book Love-- Adorable and so so relatable! I'm half convinced the author must have been spying on me. 😂⁣ ⁣ And that's it! Now I have to get back to real life. Dammit. 😅⁣ ⁣ Farha out! *tries to dab gracefully. But fails.
