SILENT PILGRIMAGE
If you take a walk up from Grasmere to Easdale Tarn, and bear right as you come over the hill down to the Tarn, you’ll come to the beck that runs out of the Tarn and down into the valley. If the water’s not  too high, you’ll see a set of stones, and if you are careful and have good balance you can step across them to the other side. There are rarely people there, and you can sit and eat your pork pie or malt loaf in peace.
If you decide to wild camp overnight at the Tarn, the better ground is on the other side, on the ground a little higher up. Flatter pitches, and drier ground. Also, if you are camping on the night of the first full moon after the turn of the year, you are less likely to see why the stones were put into the stream in the first place, which is a good thing for you. That night the gap between the worlds is very thin, and it is the start of the Gathering, and if you are down by the stepping stones you may see the Folk in procession, leaping where you just stepped, dozens and dozens of them in silent pilgrimage on their obscure business, streaming from one side of the fells to the other.
If they see you watching, one will pull out a tiny silver whistle and blow it, and that will make you fall in line with the hushed procession, and when the search parties are finally sent out they will find your empty tent.
Two of the older Mountain Rescue volunteers will observe your footprints in the soft ground, heading from your tent down towards the beck, and they will look at each other for a moment, shake their heads, and cross themselves before going back to help in a search they know will not find you for seven years.

There's an enchanting quality about carnivorous plants that's both beautiful and terrifying. I believe it all depends on your perspective, and your actual size. There's loads of learning about these frisky little herbs in today's Daily Wail (link in bio). Original commentary, poetry and hand picked facts and clips, all for your information and stimulation. Have a nice day :) #royalsydneybotanicgardens #thecalyx #thelittlepeople #figurines #funnyphotography #carnivourousplants #australia #lmbweb #comedy #tinymodels #sexy #dangerous #dangerouswoman #dangerouslyinlove #dangerousfellows (at The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_680ZjnJhk/?igshid=1fvq5slixydde

THE MAGIC OF SHAMANS, WITCHES, DRUIDS, SEERS, VIKINGS, SIBERIANS, MAGES....
(The story about witches and flying broom sticks is merely a depiction of the flying ointment - Amanita Muscaria - which enables one to Astral Project).
Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria) is a well-known mushroom with a long ritual history. Use of this mushroom has historically been widespread. It grows abundantly from Scandinavia to the far eastern Siberia, and has been used in India, Persia and Egypt. Shamans of the Koryak take the mushroom to communicate with the ancestors and spirits of the dead, to journey in spirit and to see past. Its association with shamanic travel and the Underworld is Universal.
It has been proposed as the “elixir” of the ancient alchemists, the original “holy grail” and the biblical Tree of Knowledge. Most famous is perhaps Gordon R. Wasson’s theory that it is the original Soma, the mysterious drink of the Gods celebrated in the 2,000 year old sacred scripts of the Rig-Veda - and so it is, I can confirm it from my numerous experiences with this magical mushroom.
Symbolism of the fly Amanita is featured throughout history and religion. Many cultures in Europe have stories and folklore pertaining to mushrooms, specifically the Amanita, which some might argue is one of the most recognizable fungi in the world. It has been theorized that their reach bleeds as far as into Christianity, with the ”Forbidden Fruit” named in the Genesis being not an apple, but instead a mushroom. There are stories of the Lithuanian god of the dead whose fingers are mushrooms reaching out from the world of the dead to feed the poor. Viking berserkers are had ingested Amanita Muscaria before battle, which enabled them to enter a frenzied trance state. All across the Nordic countries Amanitas have been traditionally associated with Yule and the god Loki. They’ve possibly lent their colors, as well as Loki’s attribution as a trickster character, to our modern version of Santa Claus, who has the ability to be both good (leaving presents) and cruel (leaving coal), all while draped in red & white, the iconic colors of the mushroom.
Amanita Muscaria even traveled down into China, where traditional Taoists refer to it as the ”Fruit of Immortality”, and has been said to have been used as far as India, where it is known as Soma, Israel, possibly Egypt and the Mediterranean, and even in Mexico where sculptures of Amanitas and other mushrooms have been found.
In western Siberia, the use of A. Muscaria was restricted to shamans, who used it as a method of achieving a trance state. This could be accompanied by drumming and/or ritual dance. In India, a drink was made from the mushrooms that was said to bring one closer to god. Fly Amanita has been used, along with other psychoactive mushrooms, in Nordic countries during rituals and sacrifices, sometimes even being presented as an offering to the gods. Mostly, however, the mushroom is generally processed and consumed, and the participants then sent on a whirling journey in which they invoke magic, god(s), sex or some other state. The uses for Amanita Muscaria are as varied and detailed as the many stories. Every experience is unique and magical.
For me personally I love to take small amounts 2-3 caps - and love the feelings/ecstasy from it(way better than alcohol + without any hangover or side effects, great mental clarity, super strength - I love to work out on them - they give inhumane strength(this confirms the Viking frenzied berserk mode by consuming them) and I also love to sit still on them and meditate - it can take me in so deep. But if I want to go deeper, like astral projection, then 5,6+ caps guaranteed.

Truth: Back in 1994, I envisioned a life where I could work from anywhere using a laptop and having access to the "super information highway". I've always held that vision while going through the flow of life - working on increasing my self awareness, being open to the learning along the way and working on removing the layers of egos. This dream didn't come without consequences. Whether good or not so good, I take full responsibility for every choice I've made or didn't make. I've been living my dream for a few years now. I'm so blessed. However, working remotely and being self employed does have its challenges. Staying balanced and grounded is important. So is setting boundaries for *alone* time. There are client deadlines and emergent tasks that arise. Once they're taken care of, I make sure to set aside some time to create. Taking walks in nature and collecting twigs and such for the construction of fairy houses does wonders for me. Perhaps, I'll open a Fairy Home Development company or a Habitat for Fairies. Got an area of your garden that we could develop? Investment return would be a well cared for garden by nature's angels 🌼🌻🎶🐦🐝🐞🌷🍃🌞 #coffeebreak #breaktime #fairy #fairies #fairygarden #childhood #childhoodmemories #thelittlepeople #thelittlepeopleofbrimleyofforest #connectwithyourinnerchild (at Drinkle3)
